Speaker 1 (00:00):
Welcome back to another episode of Inside the Bus. This
is episode forty four, the Jim Brown episode, the Ernie
Davis episode.
Speaker 2 (00:06):
The Hank Aaron, the Reggie Jackson, heyord On Alvarez.
Speaker 3 (00:10):
Also the Cam Skataboo episode.
Speaker 4 (00:15):
He was on Me and Mitches springball team.
Speaker 5 (00:17):
He was, Yeah, that was kind of unfair.
Speaker 3 (00:19):
If you go back and watch that vlog where we
went to ASU and Taylor and Will were both the
coaches calling plays, me and rest in Peace. G we
got fucked and we were with Taylor and that team
was doing nothing.
Speaker 4 (00:32):
But Peddy allegedly y'all had the starters.
Speaker 5 (00:34):
Yeah, we all have Cam Scattaboo.
Speaker 6 (00:36):
You guys had well, yeah we had Scatabooy, but like
you guys had Jalen Conyers and I think he went
to the league.
Speaker 5 (00:42):
Yeah yeah, but that day he didn't show up.
Speaker 4 (00:44):
I wish we could coach another spring game.
Speaker 3 (00:47):
That's something I mean, I think that might be like
a one time deal just because Kenny Dillingham and Taylor
have that connection.
Speaker 5 (00:54):
But if the coaches are listening out there, I bet
y'all do that.
Speaker 4 (00:58):
The new coach, they're cool with it. You also do
a spring game.
Speaker 7 (01:02):
Yeah, to try to get away from it a little bit.
I think it's back.
Speaker 6 (01:06):
I feel like I was about to say, make Spring
Tour great again, like because I think of I think
of our first couple of years doing it like that. Yeah,
I know, but I was gonna say, like last year,
like the one with Oregon last year, than the ones
that y'all have done this year, like they seem like
they are so sick they.
Speaker 7 (01:24):
Don't know what it was.
Speaker 2 (01:24):
But last year, uh, sorry to cut your objack, they
blew up last year. Yeah, Spring Tour last year, like Bluetube,
it was yeah on YouTube, it went crazy.
Speaker 6 (01:33):
I don't know if we're we might just be shadow
band on YouTube or something, because yeah, something have to
be we're slowing down or something.
Speaker 5 (01:40):
Have to be inside the bus or yeah, I inside.
Speaker 6 (01:43):
The bus where we were. Still we're still floating around
that definitely around that twenty two hundred subscriber mark. So
please please please tell some people to come check us out.
Speaker 1 (01:55):
We've agreed to stop giving financial and political advice, so
hopefully that will help us an algorithm too. But Spring Tour, yeah,
last year, it is crazy how the videos popped off
because Notre Dame this year was basically Oregon last year,
but times too well. I feel like the teams are
helping promote it this year more right.
Speaker 3 (02:12):
Yeah, I mean when we were there, their social team
was accepting every collaba with Tech Instagram, same with Tech
and Miami did it too, So teams are taking notice,
and it's definitely it's good for them, it's good for us.
Speaker 5 (02:24):
It's good for everyone.
Speaker 3 (02:25):
And the more we can be like ground level with
players and coaches, give the full experience, I feel like
truly gives them an edge and recruiting because like these
young kids love YouTube.
Speaker 5 (02:36):
If you're watching out there, go ahead subscribe to us.
We need it please. But yeah, Spring Tour this year
massive success.
Speaker 6 (02:42):
Yeah. Of the three Tech Notre Dame in Miami, what
is your.
Speaker 5 (02:48):
Ranking, I'll let you go first because I didn't go
to Tech.
Speaker 4 (02:50):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (02:51):
Man, it's so each of them have different parts that
I love about them.
Speaker 4 (02:55):
If I'm if I'm just going to school, I'm going
to Miami, no doubt. Beautiful campus.
Speaker 1 (03:00):
That was my first time in Coral Gables on the
US campus, and it's everything you'd expect it to be.
I also didn't realize how smart.
Speaker 4 (03:07):
Of a school it is. The guy that was giving
us a tour.
Speaker 1 (03:10):
He was explaining, like the sat minimum that they accept
and it's like one of the top universities in the country.
Speaker 6 (03:17):
Like something must have changed in the early two thousands,
just around then.
Speaker 5 (03:20):
Dude, I don't know.
Speaker 3 (03:21):
I was actually having this conversation last night with someone
asking him about the spring tour and they were saying
they didn't realize that Miami's a private university and there's
only twelve thousand undergrad And when you think of Miami,
yeah you think it's like twenty thousand minimum.
Speaker 5 (03:34):
You think it's a massive school. But tuition there's one
hundred grand a year.
Speaker 3 (03:38):
And yeah, I mean twelve thousand undergrad I think he
said run seven thousand graduate students, so like under twenty
k students in total, And it is so nice. The
dude who is giving the tour, what was his name?
Speaker 4 (03:49):
I in Miami.
Speaker 3 (03:50):
Yeah, he was such an og he like played on
like a National championship Miami team, first round draft pick,
but he was name I know.
Speaker 5 (03:59):
He is it like like a guy like old. Yeah
he wasn't old. He's probably like forty not even.
Speaker 4 (04:05):
It's like a real storyteller too. I'm gonna try to
look him up.
Speaker 3 (04:08):
He truly if you haven't watched that vlog, well I
guess not out yet, but when you see it, I
don't know how much of that.
Speaker 4 (04:15):
We don't have those stories.
Speaker 3 (04:16):
He was such a good storyteller, like JP saying, and
just like the ideal representative if you want from Miami
to give you a tour. At one point, he's pointing
this building, goes yeah, so right up there in the
top floor of the building, that's where Drake filmed God's
Playing music video.
Speaker 5 (04:29):
And we're like, okay, yeah, I mean definitely.
Speaker 6 (04:32):
They talked about the seven floor at all.
Speaker 3 (04:34):
No, I'm pretty sure that was a pretty big don't
ask me that, not from them, just from but uh,
Brett mays our CFO.
Speaker 4 (04:45):
He walked, we'd I forgot he was with you.
Speaker 3 (04:47):
He's a video He's okay, so a little bit on that.
I I film it and then I asked Brett, I'm like, hey, man,
do you care.
Speaker 5 (04:55):
If I post this? I was like, I won't you
know what we too is no man post it?
Speaker 3 (04:58):
And I go I'm gonna say, we're teaching our counting
how do use smelling salts? And he goes, oh, definitely,
He goes you mind staying CFO though. He goes, I'm
not Yell's accountant, and I was like, oh, I was like,
you got it, bro, that is on me. But he
we were walking during one of the practices, just me
and him, and he's like, you guys talk about the
seventh floor crew and I'm like.
Speaker 8 (05:19):
I don't think so, but I don't think we're allowed.
Speaker 3 (05:21):
Yeah, but if I had to choose between Miami Notre Dame,
the Notre Dame experience was incredible, but like, you'll never be.
Speaker 5 (05:29):
Able to beat South Florida.
Speaker 6 (05:31):
Ye can't.
Speaker 3 (05:31):
The weather we get off the plane, it's like kind
of one of those late afternoon thunderstorms going on where
it's like still beautiful and I we got to go
to the pool and like jump off the ten meter platform,
got to race the Miami.
Speaker 5 (05:44):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (05:44):
At the end of the tour, they start talking to like, uh,
this isn't hazing. They're like, just so you know, this
is because I guess they in the past may have
gotten in trouble for something. But they'll end the tour
at the pool. They make these recruits and like I
can imagine most like ye dudes are not big pool guys. Yeah,
you know, maybe jumping in with socks on, but I
mean the ten meters thirty two feet and thirty feet
(06:05):
doesn't sound that high. You've got to climb five different
ladders to get up to game day. Yeah, okay, So me,
Taylor Will, and Brett money Mays jumped off of it,
and then me and Taylor and Will swam against each other,
and then the Miami women's swimming coach walks up and goes,
you guys want to swim against real competition, and we
all kind of like clammed up and we're like no.
(06:27):
He's like, come on over here, and then he's like,
we need five women to race these guys.
Speaker 4 (06:31):
Who's gonna step up?
Speaker 3 (06:33):
And like immediate one girl's like I'm doing it, and uh,
obviously they smoked us.
Speaker 5 (06:37):
I almost kind of.
Speaker 3 (06:38):
I was on the tail of this girl, not like
her coach came up to her and she was like
he was asking her, telling her it's like I was
worried about you, and I was like, yeah, like.
Speaker 4 (06:46):
Was hawking her, did you?
Speaker 6 (06:49):
I was like, JP, you got to get in there,
but obviously you're doing the.
Speaker 1 (06:51):
I would have loved I would have loved to be
in there. There was an internal decision that JP wasn't
gonna get be getting in the water.
Speaker 4 (06:59):
Unfortunately, I wasn't able to to compete.
Speaker 6 (07:02):
That wasn't That wasn't a JP decision.
Speaker 4 (07:03):
It wasn't a JP decision. I promise you guys.
Speaker 1 (07:06):
I would have loved to have raced, and I would
have I would have jumped off the board.
Speaker 5 (07:09):
But people are whispering that he could have jumped off
the board.
Speaker 6 (07:12):
Though.
Speaker 5 (07:13):
Yeah, people are whispering, and that's what happened to me.
It's not me. Do you subscribe to our YouTube?
Speaker 4 (07:18):
Though, subscribe to the YouTube.
Speaker 1 (07:20):
I think if I was to like rank them again,
I like, there's three different things I like about each school.
Speaker 4 (07:27):
I love coach Maguire.
Speaker 1 (07:29):
I think he's the most like wholesome football coach that
we've come across. He's like in that Dan Landing type world.
And I think if college football was taken away from him,
he would be completely okay because he could go back
to coaching his first love, and I don't think the
same could be said for a lot of coaches. So
I think he would be the most fun to play for.
Notre Dame would be the coolest team to be a
(07:52):
part of, to be running out of the tunnel because
the walkthrough that they took us through it was so incredible,
and even though the stadium was it felt like it
was sold out really and we were actually running out
for a game and uh yeah, Miami. The weather and
like the the hardships that would come from being on
(08:12):
the Miami football team would suck in that moment. But like,
I feel like when you finished four years of Miami football,
it's like you're you've entered into a different class of
a person, of an athlete, and you have this newfound
respect from other people.
Speaker 3 (08:27):
It feels like they have such a deep rooted alumni base.
It's like constantly coming around.
Speaker 5 (08:32):
People love going.
Speaker 3 (08:33):
I mean, obviously there's no bad excuse to go down
to Coral Gables.
Speaker 5 (08:36):
It's yeaul.
Speaker 6 (08:37):
I feel like they're like the alumni like if you
went to the U. It's not like how Taylor was
with Michigan for a little bit, Like he was like, yeah,
I went to Michigan, but it is what it is
now He's like, I love Michigan, but the You, it's like, oh,
I went there, that is my school. Like the pride
of being yeah going to you. I think it's like.
Speaker 1 (08:54):
It's almost like the army. It's like if you've served
your time at the you then like you're in the
brotherhood forever.
Speaker 6 (08:59):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (09:00):
Actually, now with crist of Ball, I know, like I
feel bad for these players from pre chryst of all
to that gap in between when they were winning and
then out of chris Ball, because you know, all the
other alumni are like, who are these guys?
Speaker 4 (09:12):
Way y'all, y'all are staying on this university.
Speaker 3 (09:16):
I'm bummed that I didn't get to meet Joey Maguire
because the way you speak about him and everyone's like
said he was so cool. Because meeting Marcus Freeman and
Mario cristiball like they were all time humans. Marcus Freeman
was so personable and just like a happy guy. But
you can tell he's gonna motherfuck you at practice, like
if you don't like step up and there's Crystal Ball
that like, you know he's gonna motherfuck you. But his
(09:39):
whole story like growing up in Miami, playing in Miami,
and now he's back at the Helm. You can just
tell there's such a huge amount of respect that these
players have for him, and he like him talking about
how like not that the weather is an issue that
like we get to practice in this humidity, like if
we get to train at a higher level that any
college in the country because of the weather here, like
(10:00):
during June and July, and he's like, I love it.
Speaker 6 (10:01):
This time.
Speaker 3 (10:02):
He was like because come fall, He's like, we're gonna
be more conditioned than the other guys.
Speaker 5 (10:05):
And you just kind of juiced with them.
Speaker 4 (10:07):
Yeah, listen him.
Speaker 1 (10:09):
Definitely at post interview, I had the biggest feeling of like, man,
I would die for this guy because it's no shortcuts.
It's all disciplined. You have to do every single small
thing and every single step that you take in that
building like better be with.
Speaker 4 (10:24):
Intention or it's not good enough. And I'm like that's
a cool standard to have.
Speaker 5 (10:28):
Yeah, he's a if you're on time, you're late kind
of guy. Like but also you just you just like
you said, you just want to die for him, all right.
Speaker 3 (10:36):
He just seems like a coach that can motivate and
like lead the masses.
Speaker 2 (10:41):
I feel like you have even more respect for him too,
because a lot of coaches will do that and then
just like performance matters and it just won't happen Miami
to be where they were like for him to be
that and then to go to the National Championship just
within a couple of years is.
Speaker 1 (10:54):
Like, oh shit, And it was so cool to hear.
And I mean he'll talk more about it in his interview.
Kind of speaking to that is like he grew up
driving over to Miami practices like as a kid on
his bike and watching him. I'm like, man, the fact
that he gets to be the head coach with the
team that he rode his bike to go just try
to get a glimpse of practice, It's cool. And I
(11:14):
always have a soft spot for those coaches that actually
love the university that they're coaching, because there's so few
of them, especially like South Carolina's for example, like Steve Spurrier,
he's the best coach we ever had, but we all
know that he doesn't actually love South Carolina like Florida
Florida must champ. He didn't love South Carolina. Yeah, Like,
and that's why I'm partial to Beamer because I feel
(11:35):
like he does love it and Crystal Ball that's what's
cool with.
Speaker 6 (11:39):
Him, Like I didn't get to go and like just
seeing him on the field, like and like what you say,
like he's like Jack said, he's gonna motherfuck you, but
like you know, like behind the scenes, he's like he's
gonna be like patting you on the back like he's
motherfucking you because he expect so much out of you.
Speaker 3 (11:56):
And yeah, one one random sorry that I don't want
to give too much way from the interview, this one,
but he's talking about I think it was one of
their linebackers.
Speaker 5 (12:06):
They're head guy, and how he's like a senior.
Speaker 3 (12:08):
And essentially he came up to crystaball and he's like,
I'm moving into a new spot right across facility and goes,
and I want these two freshmen. He goes, they're living
with me, and he goes, I'm gonna have them under
my ropes and like making sure. And he's like he's
talking about how these freshmen are super high ceiling guys.
So just to like have like leaders on your team
already just taking charge, trying to get the young guys activated.
Speaker 5 (12:31):
You can tell they're building something special. And it's very
easy to be a fan of Miami and.
Speaker 1 (12:35):
That's the reason that brand is so important in college football.
Like it's gonna be so much easier for Miami to
have to potentially have like a consistent top ten team
because they have seniors that they care about playing for
the US. It's so hard to find that with Nio
and everything at other schools that like people that will
die for the Tea or Oklahoma State, they're like they
(12:57):
would care enough to bring the freshmen in and be like, no,
like you gotta take this junk serious and.
Speaker 4 (13:01):
Keep it, keep the standard.
Speaker 6 (13:02):
That's sick.
Speaker 1 (13:04):
Yeah, But Freeman also, like I bet if I was,
he spoke about like the moms in his interview. I'm
sure if I was a mom, I would probably choose Man.
Speaker 5 (13:14):
That that's gold right there.
Speaker 3 (13:15):
I don't know if I know he believes it, but
what a great tactic as well.
Speaker 6 (13:19):
I know, I feel like McGuire is the kind of
coach that like your dad would like if like he's
like your dad, Dad's more chill. Moms would love Freeman.
But if you were like a kind of like a
troublemaker as a kid, you're sending your kid to christ
of ball.
Speaker 2 (13:33):
You also McGuire like just from what I can tell,
uh like outside looking in and you might already know
this about tech fan like growing up in Texas, tech
fans like he is the perfect coach for for that school, right,
like he is literally I don't think he went there,
but he is Texas tech like that is how they are,
like passionate kind of like I love I have I
love tech fans. All my tech like friends are like
(13:56):
some of the like coolest people I know. Yeh, and
I just know, like you go to Notre Dame Miami,
like it's awesome and they're accommodating. Those are like huge brands,
historic brands, so like it's just good to see tech like.
Speaker 6 (14:07):
On the right. Uh, I was gonna say, it's cool
to see like and hear everything from Notre Dame because
when we went there like a couple of years ago,
it's like a little bit more closed doors. We kind
of had to make make some things happen. But now
it's like we've been here a couple of times. Now
they know who we are and like being able to
do whatever we want. And like I just think about
when me, you and g were just in the stands,
like yeah, getting banged up.
Speaker 3 (14:28):
I mean in the fall, you might see WILLI and
Taylor running out with the team at this point. That's
how the access was. But one more thing on Joey McGuire.
Clump was telling me when we were at Notre Dame.
Speaker 5 (14:38):
He was like, man, I wish you could have met Joey.
Speaker 3 (14:39):
He was like, he truly took like individual time with
every person on the trip. And I don't know if
you spoke with him individually, and like, I don't know
if you want to talk about that.
Speaker 1 (14:49):
Definitely, I mean immediately we walk in, he introduces himself
to Matt. Yeah, Joey McGuire was talking about he was
on some bad he was on some bad party and
he was like, I was actually in Nashville.
Speaker 4 (15:02):
Maybe it was for his son or something. And he
was like, I think we were at like Whiskey Row.
Speaker 1 (15:07):
And Matt was like posting something on his phone and
then Matt just goes Whiskey Row.
Speaker 4 (15:10):
Yeah, yeah, pops his head.
Speaker 1 (15:11):
Up, and because from Guard's like, see he knows what
I'm talking about, Like he perked right up when he
heard Whiskey Row.
Speaker 4 (15:17):
And Matt's like, yeah, you know that's a fire spot
blah blah.
Speaker 5 (15:20):
And so Matt's committing on the spot, on the.
Speaker 1 (15:23):
Spot, so that like he bonded with Matt. He was asking,
he asked every single person where they're from. And so
his conversation with me asking where I'm from, what part
of the state. Oh, we actually got one of our
our secondary's coach. He's from Greenville.
Speaker 4 (15:38):
You got to meet him. He's uh, I'm like, of course.
Speaker 1 (15:41):
Like this is it was awesome, and uh, He's like,
we also got this player. He he's from Hilton Head
and YadA, YadA, YadA, like taking all the time. He's like, man,
I love South Carolina. And then just throughout the whole tour,
he's like always kind of checking in, which is always
really cool for the coaches to do for the guys
in the back. Yeah, And unfortunately with even we kind
of got split up. Yeah, but when we were in
(16:03):
his office, I mean, obviously he and Will were chopping up,
but he was talking to me.
Speaker 5 (16:07):
You started chopping it up with him.
Speaker 1 (16:09):
Yeah, Like he was asking me where I'm from, the
same thing, and he's talking about his relationship with coach Beemer,
some of the guys they have on their team from
South Carolina, just asking me all different questions and I'm like, dude,
you are everything that I thought you would be on TV.
And it was just it was cool to see all
of them kind of be so personable and Freeman.
Speaker 3 (16:28):
You can tell is a great guy because you walk
into his office and it's a shrine to his family.
I mean it's literally it's all of his old like
memorabilia from playing days and games. And then it's like
all his dads because I think his dad was in
the Navy or he has like all his Navy medals.
And then it's just every photo. There's like paintings of
the family, you know, individuals everywhere. And he's forty and
(16:50):
he's got six kids, so he's been pumping them out there.
Speaker 6 (16:53):
And like the clip of him talking about like his
wrestling stuff, he just seems like that dad that's like
not like screaming at it, but he's like just kind
of like yeah.
Speaker 3 (17:05):
He's talking about how he's like he's only went to
one match in person, and like that video came from it,
but he was like, I can't operate the way I
need to as a dad and as the coach of
Notre Dame in person. So he's like I watched him
in my office and he says he's like moving around.
Speaker 6 (17:20):
It's like, which is sick.
Speaker 1 (17:22):
I know it's because it's for so many of those coaches,
it's so hard to be present with their family, and
you can tell. I mean, that's a perfect example, like
he's not there, and it's seems like it's for the
reasons because he does want to focus to be on
his kid and not him, But he's fully tapped into
everything going on in his kid's life, which is just
a cool testament for young coaches because I'm sure a
(17:42):
lot of young coaches look up to him and like
what a standard is set for them, which is awesome.
Speaker 2 (17:49):
I have one question about Notre Dame. I've been itching
to ask. Did y'all run into Devin Fitzgerald?
Speaker 3 (17:56):
We saw him, but yeah, I mean it was his
father's son for sure.
Speaker 8 (18:04):
Is he big?
Speaker 7 (18:05):
Does he look good?
Speaker 4 (18:06):
He was wrong hands? Yeah, like a like his pops exactly,
big ass.
Speaker 2 (18:12):
Larry Fit's got a big ass. Yeah, Matt's not. Again,
that's like a thing. That's that's the thing that's talked about.
Speaker 4 (18:19):
Will's is pretty big.
Speaker 6 (18:21):
I'm looking but like Larry's. Like in Matt's defense, like
Larry's was like, oh that he was, He's squatting like Will's.
Will's got like wider hips that makes it look a
little bit bigger. But Larry's just like a shelf.
Speaker 3 (18:34):
Yeah, it's crazy because they're also Drome. Bennis's son goes
notre name. Yeah, flex Burs, Holy Cakes. That's not edited,
that's cake Zilla, that's Larry.
Speaker 1 (18:46):
But yeah, if he was wearing all blackests at night,
you can't really see.
Speaker 4 (18:50):
And it's just from behind at the club, Matt will
go push up on Larry fit. You see the dreads too.
Speaker 6 (18:58):
I think it's like long hair.
Speaker 4 (19:00):
That club vibes.
Speaker 7 (19:03):
That's why her Fitz.
Speaker 4 (19:06):
Yeah, he's gonna be good. I think they got anyway. Yeah,
they got su enough look at it.
Speaker 7 (19:11):
Enough of Larry Fgerald's ass. How's his son?
Speaker 5 (19:14):
Yeah?
Speaker 3 (19:15):
I think I didn't see this video, but we have
a video running route and it truly like you can
just without even knowing who it is, you kind of like, wait,
that's gotta be Larry Fitz.
Speaker 6 (19:24):
Yeah, yeah, I saw somebody. It was something on Twitter.
It was like, I love how when you can tell
it's like a legend's son just by Like I was
watching the guy, I'm like, I don't really I forgot
that his son was there, and like he looks pretty fluid.
I mean, I don't know what who it is.
Speaker 2 (19:38):
It's honestly pretty crazy that Larry Fitzgerald's son is in
playing college football. It kind of makes me feel old,
Like I don't know that old, but.
Speaker 1 (19:46):
Dude, I wish freaking Marvin Harrison Junior played like Marvin
Harrison because Martin Harrison Junior is way more athletic.
Speaker 6 (19:53):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (19:54):
Yeah, Harrison was like the pristine route runner, and I
feel like Harrison Junior just he's just a freak.
Speaker 7 (20:01):
He's a big body.
Speaker 6 (20:03):
Are some dark past with Marvin Harrison, We will have
to get into that, but that's true.
Speaker 4 (20:08):
But man him and Reggy Wayne what a combo and
Peyton Manning Clark.
Speaker 7 (20:14):
Larry Fitzgerald and Cowan Bolden. We had dogs too.
Speaker 4 (20:18):
Y'all did have it. Y'all had a squad. Steve Preston,
Steve Preston, I don't know.
Speaker 3 (20:24):
Him, I will say still on the topic of the
coaches looking back on it, because we visited Dan Lanning's
house last year in Oregon. He was kind enough to
invite us. We went over to Marcus Freeman's house here.
Marcus Freeman takes it solely because so they both have
like the same kind of idea going on where they
have the main house, and then they have an entire
(20:45):
separate house that is like their man cave, but Marcus
was four times the size of Landings.
Speaker 5 (20:51):
It has a.
Speaker 3 (20:51):
Full basketball court in there, full weight room, two story
barber I mean, there's probably six like one hundred inch
t these in there.
Speaker 5 (21:01):
It's pretty sweet over there.
Speaker 7 (21:03):
I'm hearing something.
Speaker 6 (21:04):
What are you doing?
Speaker 5 (21:05):
Well? Get in here, Derek, Derek, Get in here? Man?
What a Larry as well? When are we getting part
two and on?
Speaker 4 (21:17):
He said, right now?
Speaker 6 (21:19):
Never you guys just moving up all of the.
Speaker 7 (21:23):
I'm leaving for a wedding and so.
Speaker 5 (21:28):
Taking a couple of bud lights and where's the wedding?
Speaker 7 (21:30):
Chattanooga, Oh, chat Town. Driving out very it's my my
fiance's best friend and so it's all their friends.
Speaker 6 (21:37):
I don't anybody.
Speaker 7 (21:38):
I'm just gonna roll up with.
Speaker 5 (21:39):
Have you been to chat before?
Speaker 6 (21:40):
Love it?
Speaker 5 (21:41):
Love it such a good time. Go to Yellow Deli.
Speaker 6 (21:44):
You've never been Yellow.
Speaker 3 (21:46):
It's run by a colt. But they make insane food.
It's a great cold. I mean, I wouldn't join it,
but they do make probably some of the best Chattanooga.
Speaker 5 (21:56):
Yeah, Yellow looking up good, have a good episode. He
thanks the same Travels Yup Part two and on coming soon.
Speaker 3 (22:08):
We've been we've been covering spring tour and hey, do
you want to give any words on your favorite stop
and why favorite stop?
Speaker 6 (22:16):
Yeah?
Speaker 8 (22:17):
Damn show him that Larry fits favorite stop for me,
hands down.
Speaker 5 (22:25):
Notre Dame.
Speaker 7 (22:25):
I mean that's cav.
Speaker 4 (22:27):
That's who you'd commit to of the three.
Speaker 8 (22:28):
I remember we had this conversation and the guy like
checked me in.
Speaker 9 (22:31):
Then he's like, what it ain't the same, but yeah,
probably Notre Dame Miami was sick, but keV from Notre Dame.
Speaker 3 (22:38):
Kevin was awesome. Probably the best friend of contacts we've
ever had.
Speaker 9 (22:41):
He texted me and I was like, He's like said
something along lines of, uh, when are we gonna see
each other?
Speaker 4 (22:45):
Gun?
Speaker 6 (22:46):
As a joke.
Speaker 8 (22:46):
I'm like, dude, I want you to be my best friend,
he replied.
Speaker 7 (22:48):
I thought we already were.
Speaker 6 (22:50):
I'm like, you guys kind of look alike to y'all.
Really is a ginger blonder.
Speaker 9 (22:55):
Gotta do that when we pull up, they're like both
good energy, good energy do he He's uh, he's got
music taste though not me.
Speaker 5 (23:02):
And it's ever too late, man, you just got my shirt.
Speaker 4 (23:05):
You were crushing the car.
Speaker 3 (23:06):
Yeah, wait what you were literally on OX the whole weekend,
which we actually that's what we should it was.
Speaker 8 (23:11):
Oh thanks for letting everyone know. I was on OX
always and you were killing it.
Speaker 4 (23:15):
It was fun that car ride, was you, Jared and
Taylor are a dangerous trio?
Speaker 5 (23:20):
True?
Speaker 8 (23:20):
He had like the I don't even know what to
call that, like the Zoomies at night.
Speaker 4 (23:24):
Luckily air doesn't need dude.
Speaker 8 (23:26):
We were crazy.
Speaker 6 (23:29):
We were.
Speaker 1 (23:29):
It was to the point where like, you're lucky the
air doesn't need consent because y'all were. Y'all were going
nuts on that.
Speaker 7 (23:35):
Air, Taylor and Jared.
Speaker 5 (23:39):
I wasn't doing that.
Speaker 7 (23:39):
I couldn't breathe from laughing.
Speaker 8 (23:41):
I was dying in the front of the Spriderman as
they're dancing.
Speaker 4 (23:45):
Shut up.
Speaker 3 (23:46):
Even on the way back after that incredible dinner at
Prime one twelve, there was kind of a stagnant like
five ten minutes, and then you guys just started ripping again,
and I'm so full in the back, I'm like, how
are they doing?
Speaker 4 (23:57):
I can't lie, bro I was in my seat. I
was like, God, I gotta move to the back.
Speaker 9 (24:01):
How funny was the sound of the Bluetooth connecting to
so everyone's tired and it's like again, oh man, I
did I did find a new song though from that
whole thing, I freak the name of it, which is
embarrassing at this moment. Yeah, bro, I left the airport
and went to flag football, just blasting Perky's called going
(24:24):
to coach.
Speaker 8 (24:24):
Five to seven flag football? All right, love the boys
had to dude, what a song.
Speaker 7 (24:34):
Better?
Speaker 5 (24:34):
Clump brother love you see you in five?
Speaker 6 (24:38):
So Freeman's house is better than Lannings.
Speaker 3 (24:41):
Yeah, I mean they're both incredible problems, but we didn't
go the I will honestly give Dan Lanning the edge
a little bit because we got to go inside. We
have to go inside inside Dan Lanning's house, and we
did not get to go inside Freeman's, which is fine.
And also Freeman had what twenty guys at least on
(25:04):
the team.
Speaker 5 (25:05):
Carr included.
Speaker 4 (25:06):
I had to be all the starters.
Speaker 3 (25:07):
Yeah, I mean they were all just there playing gotcha
like all this stuff. Also, I'm curious, what did what
do y'all call?
Speaker 4 (25:13):
Because I've Gotcha is a whole new one.
Speaker 3 (25:15):
I see, I've always called it gotcha, and I feel
like it's regional. We're talking about the game where you
have two balls and you're shooting a free throw and
you have to make the shot.
Speaker 6 (25:23):
Before the knockout.
Speaker 4 (25:24):
Yeah, people, I call it knockout.
Speaker 5 (25:28):
Yeah, I feel like, gotcha you call. I started calling
it knockout just because when I say it, no one's
really picking.
Speaker 4 (25:35):
Up on that knockout. That's never And I never heard
Taylor calls it bump out.
Speaker 5 (25:42):
Yeah, bump out his lame like we can go ahead
and put that at third immediately.
Speaker 9 (25:47):
Gotcha.
Speaker 7 (25:47):
I've never heard that in my life.
Speaker 3 (25:49):
Yeah, he had some guys in there, and I will
also say we've discussed this, but dude, CJ.
Speaker 5 (25:54):
Carr is such a raw athlete.
Speaker 4 (25:57):
I wish y'all could have seen him on the ping
pong table.
Speaker 3 (25:59):
It was the most impressed sid thing I've ever seen.
He literally looks like he could be like an amateur,
like in a dude, I mean, his farm force bent
on it that he's doing, and he's cooking the guy
that he's playing, and the guy he's playing was honestly
very good too.
Speaker 1 (26:13):
He's yeah, he was getting back to him. And when
they start to go on the c J. Carr Heisman push,
you gotta release some ping pong tapes of him, Now
those people are going to eat it up.
Speaker 4 (26:22):
He and yeah he was a shooter too, he.
Speaker 5 (26:25):
Was spraying threes. But you can tell he was the
all athlete in high school.
Speaker 6 (26:29):
Dude that was behind Taylor was like, I can't shoot,
and then it's just in one one I met he
was playing, because I mean he was already dripping sweat
by the time we got there. Clearly did they say,
like I always wonder when my athletes go over to
the coaches house, is that like a common thing or
is it just like, oh, it's just a special night
because we're here, come over?
Speaker 3 (26:49):
Is it like he was on the coach Like I
don't see like Crystal Ball being a guy where like
a ton of dudes are coming over.
Speaker 5 (26:56):
But he also seems a guy who never is leaving
the facility.
Speaker 4 (26:58):
There's a good chance Chris Ball lives and like a
two bedroom.
Speaker 3 (27:00):
Yeah literally, yeah, but I don't know, Like I remember,
people have told me about Alabama players when Saban was coaching,
he had a lake house and they would always go
out on the boat with Saban, which I can't imagine.
And as a Tennessee fan, a more hilarious day than
just be on the lake with Nick Saban.
Speaker 1 (27:17):
Yeah, I think it's a lot of times it's the
position coaches will have people over. Yeah, so yeah, I
bet for the head coach, it's probably like you know,
bigger events.
Speaker 6 (27:27):
I'll watch like Oregon's videos, and it seems like they'll
have like leadership meetings at Lannings like hosting area, right,
or they'll go on like retreats and stuff. But yeah,
I've always wondered, like, I mean I never went to
obviously it's D three, but like I never went to
my coach's house.
Speaker 1 (27:41):
Yeah, and I would say too, like across all the
coaches we've been around, they've all been awesome. But Dan Lanning,
like even through all of everybody's hospitality, Dan Lanning is
still the number one guy. Like half tours into everybody
on our team. He Clump FaceTime before his birthday. He
picks up for the first ring, starts talking to him
(28:02):
about who knows what, Like Dan Lanning is.
Speaker 4 (28:04):
One of one in college football.
Speaker 6 (28:05):
I made like an organ edit and he and Clump
put me in a group chat with Lanning and he's like, hey,
this is fire, Like I need this song him. So honestly,
I just added this to my pre game playlist. I'm like,
oh fuck, yea god.
Speaker 3 (28:18):
I think I've mentioned this before, but when we were
in Vegas, me and Shannon and with Dan Lanning, Dan
Lanning made such a personal effort to get to know
Shannon too, talking about their hometown, her swimming career in college,
all this stuff, And I'm like, this is not fake,
this is not some gimmick that he's doing, Like this
is who he is all off the field, and dude,
such a Yeah. I honestly, it's still landing.
Speaker 1 (28:40):
It's still landing. And dude, if Dan Lanning and Oregon
were located more so to me, they would they would
have already won five in a row.
Speaker 3 (28:50):
He has to be out there, though, it'd be past
if he if he was at Miami or Notre Dame,
it wouldn't be fair.
Speaker 6 (28:56):
But it's all like it. And also Lanning just be
like Lanning and then with Nike, Yeah, it's like the
perfect feels right, Yeah, he does.
Speaker 3 (29:05):
Honestly, all the coaches feel like they're very true to
nature of their teams right that we've been to, the.
Speaker 4 (29:11):
Only one that doesn't and he's not even there anymore,
was Brian Kelly. Yeah, I thought you're.
Speaker 7 (29:18):
About to say, she wrote more. I think the guys
are hanging out of his house. He's probably like, Hey,
y'all can't come over tonight, I'm hiding something.
Speaker 6 (29:29):
Practice.
Speaker 4 (29:29):
Cancel tomorrow morning, boys, enjoy.
Speaker 5 (29:32):
The day off.
Speaker 6 (29:33):
I'm trying to think other schools that we've been to that. Yeah,
I mean Brian Kelly at LSU obviously wasn't a fit.
Speaker 1 (29:39):
Yeah, and seeing Freeman, I bet the minute that Freeman
got his name plate slid across at his office, Notre
Dame just took the biggest sigh of relief, and they're like, man,
we can get back to having fun and enjoying working
for a guy that's actually, you know, cares about the
school and everything. And Brian Kelly is a good football
coach for sure, but he's just that more old school.
Speaker 6 (30:02):
Yeah, he doesn't seem he doesn't seem like a guy
that's gonna have the players over.
Speaker 4 (30:05):
Yeah, exactly. Family Lane is just that he's the sec.
Speaker 7 (30:14):
I thought he fitt into old Miss perfectly.
Speaker 4 (30:17):
Ole Miss was the perfect Yeah.
Speaker 5 (30:18):
But I mean, if if he starts winning, everyone's tune
will change the goal. He was born to be an LS.
Speaker 4 (30:23):
Yeah, but I'm with you all. I think ole Miss
was the perfect lane.
Speaker 7 (30:27):
Ole Miss is perfect.
Speaker 4 (30:28):
Because it's a small, ky, middle of nowhere, Like he.
Speaker 7 (30:30):
Gets to be the biggest fish, massive party school.
Speaker 6 (30:34):
Yeah, mat Malone, everybody.
Speaker 4 (30:39):
Release the files. We gotta put it out.
Speaker 7 (30:42):
Nothing nothing wrong with liking girls, Ma Malone.
Speaker 4 (30:46):
Back to Larry Fits.
Speaker 7 (30:48):
Yeah, now like man, I love some laryer Fits.
Speaker 4 (30:52):
What Coop and I were whispering about earlier is I
believe we hit a bet.
Speaker 7 (30:56):
Uh Yes, a Josh Young home run.
Speaker 4 (30:59):
Yeah, and tell how you spelled Young j u n
G Yes, and we hit it. I think Sir put us.
Speaker 7 (31:05):
On Texas tech legend.
Speaker 4 (31:07):
Oh really, probably.
Speaker 7 (31:12):
He stinks.
Speaker 2 (31:13):
Sure, he's been sneaking this year. I'm harsh, but he
had a home run today, like literally while we were
while we.
Speaker 1 (31:20):
Were talking, sends us to text earlier today he's like,
I just got intel and then sends the bet slip.
Speaker 4 (31:26):
He's like Burger talk to Young like whatever, he's gonna
hit a bomb. Yeah whatever.
Speaker 7 (31:33):
I'm in his first of the season.
Speaker 5 (31:36):
I need that bet.
Speaker 4 (31:36):
I wonder what the intel was.
Speaker 7 (31:38):
I won almost three hundred dollars.
Speaker 4 (31:40):
I was not on the home loops to cash out.
Speaker 2 (31:43):
I had, Yeah, I had Jordan Alvarez, Teoscar Hernandez and
Manny Machado as soon as ordne it. It was like
one hundred dollars bet to win. Yeah, but like just
hear me out, hey, I'm hearing you out.
Speaker 5 (31:59):
Keep going.
Speaker 7 (32:00):
There was one hundred dollars to win seventeen k yord
On Alvarez, ord On out.
Speaker 2 (32:06):
Jord On is facing like the worst picture on earth,
and for the Rockies, he hits a home run third
inning cash out.
Speaker 6 (32:12):
For three thirty dang, and I'm assuming the other two.
Speaker 2 (32:16):
Oh well, then I put a then I hedge and
put a both of them in their own parlay, and
then additional for fifty. And then tay Oscar hit a
home run. But like late in the game, Manny Machado
had like one more at bat, so the cash out
for fifty dollars or like fifty seven, So I just
seven bucks didn't go yard Matroto walked in ex bat.
Speaker 5 (32:36):
So thank god because then and K would have kept
me up at night.
Speaker 7 (32:40):
Oh I mean yeah, but I slept easy knowing like.
Speaker 4 (32:43):
Love of the game.
Speaker 5 (32:44):
Yeah, bro, three to fifty.
Speaker 2 (32:45):
I make one bet every five months. I'm like, man,
this thing yeah, that's kind of how I operate. I'll
make I'll go and make one bet, kind of go
big and for whatever reason, it does good.
Speaker 1 (32:54):
If a player is ever looking for an honest evaluation
of their performance, just tune into this podcast and listen
to Coop talk.
Speaker 7 (33:02):
About no free passes, no free passes.
Speaker 4 (33:05):
He'll give it to you straight.
Speaker 3 (33:06):
Honestly, I need to have Coop call on Spring Tour
just so he can adequately judge these players, coaches, and facilities,
because he's gonna give it to you.
Speaker 7 (33:13):
He just flunk out of Spring Tour of a fucking.
Speaker 2 (33:19):
I've only been one Oklahoma state. If you're watching this,
win like ten games this year so we can go
next year. They have to bring me play.
Speaker 5 (33:28):
Boom. But yeah, I mean, you did have a legendary
performance that you're I know, but you know what.
Speaker 7 (33:34):
That's my only one. So like we talk about it
all the time, and it's like, that's.
Speaker 4 (33:42):
So many times. I gotta go to one more.
Speaker 5 (33:44):
We do need more stories of Coop on Spring Tour.
Speaker 7 (33:47):
Lets me go to one more where it's not my
second month on the job.
Speaker 3 (33:51):
That's kind of what Mitch is talking about, though. Make
Spring Tour great again. Like Spring Tour. Honestly, he should
becoming a party bro. And I'm glad it's no longer
that because they're long day and early mornings.
Speaker 6 (34:01):
Like it was. It was a lot of fun when
we were doing that, but also sucked at the stable.
Speaker 5 (34:06):
And then cared about it.
Speaker 7 (34:09):
Oh dude, if Matt was in my place.
Speaker 6 (34:12):
On that, that would have been a live that would
be begging to go on every single trip.
Speaker 1 (34:16):
Yeah, there's I have a like an all time video
in my phone when we were in a section in
Nebraska and Jack was trying to pass out rice fans
for people to come up, and we just like, bro,
nobody wanted to come.
Speaker 5 (34:30):
Right, they gave me ten, like I could bring anyone up.
Speaker 3 (34:34):
And this is when I'm single, you know, I'm still
kind of I'm still trying to figure it out. And
I probably went up to three or four different pockets
of women. I'm like, y'all want free wristbands, free drinks,
and they're like, nah, we are good. And then I
look over and JP's just the biggest smile you've ever
seen on his face.
Speaker 5 (34:52):
I'm like, I gotta go one more. Just went over four.
Speaker 6 (34:56):
But I have some videos from from Austin when we
were ent Texas when it was like a third Wednesday night,
Thursday night or whatever it was. But like the amount
of dudes that were just around this ping pong table
and just causing a ruckus was electric awesome. It was
a good time out with laser.
Speaker 5 (35:17):
Oh yeah, I forgot that was that time. We also
got a bunch of bikes that time.
Speaker 6 (35:20):
I could do it. Yeah, that was fun.
Speaker 5 (35:22):
Bikes are on sixth Streets.
Speaker 4 (35:25):
Will left his wallet and I stayed for a Batcheler
party that weekend.
Speaker 5 (35:29):
I forgot about that.
Speaker 1 (35:30):
I picked up his wallet for him, and I said, hey,
you could be a real legend if you let me
buy one round of drinks for the Batsler party on
your card.
Speaker 4 (35:36):
He said, bro, go for it. I owe you. And
everybody was like do Will Compton's the.
Speaker 6 (35:41):
Man that's sick.
Speaker 7 (35:51):
Man. We make good memories to go.
Speaker 4 (35:52):
To Texas tech man. You got to go to Texas
tech man.
Speaker 7 (35:55):
We make good memories back here, man.
Speaker 6 (35:58):
We don't do ship back here when everyone Yeah, I
was just trying to grin. I'm fine with saying I
don't do shit.
Speaker 4 (36:08):
Delaney does you want to talk about that?
Speaker 6 (36:10):
Delaney does? Was awesome? So obviously supercross was in town
this past weekend, and my family, the Carsley family, is
a big motocross supercross family. My dad did it for
thirty years, my brother did it for like ten for
he fucked his shoulder up. You can go and listen
to that and how we all had what all happened
to him on last week's episode. But I kind of
(36:32):
came up with or I wanted to do it with
Will and Taylor, but they were like not really about it,
but I I kind of just kind of was talking
about it with Delaney during football season, saying, hey, supercrosses
in town. He was always like I'm down. I'm down,
and then like whenever the last time he was in
he's like a supercross will come. I'm like, yeah, for sure,
like we're down to do it. So then UH just
(36:56):
kind of thought of this's is like not funck Will
and Taylor, but like they don't have to do it.
We can just make content with Delaney because Delaney's Delaney
and he's walking content. So got the pass and then
shout out Sean Brennan and Joe Weber. They are the
coolest dudes that I've gotten to like talk to and
(37:18):
work with like they work for Supercross and they hook
everything up. We're literally literally we're like, whatever you want
to do. You guys want to ride a bike, We'll
make it happen. And it just so happened that, uh,
there's a motocross team sponsored by First Form, so we
were able to meet up with them, and it was
funny because my brother raced against one of the guys
on the team and like, so we we've been to
(37:39):
the same tracks and like talked all about that software.
It was. It was pretty cool and like when we watch,
when we're watching, we're like, oh, that's Cody Shock, like
root and for him kind of thing. But when we
did that whole shot, like I was shitting bricks wheel,
I look like I look terrible just shitting there.
Speaker 3 (38:00):
I'm just sitting there like this, and of course you're
the closest to the frame of the cameras and.
Speaker 6 (38:04):
Like my dad's just taking it because he's just stoked
to see us doing it. And then it gets five
hundred thousand views on Instagram and people are just like,
this dude on the TTR is a bum.
Speaker 4 (38:15):
And I had that helmet on though, yeah, I can't tell.
Speaker 6 (38:18):
But like the three of them are like up in
my ready position and I'm just sitting there like an
idiot and just fucking dumped the clutch and thank god
him I weigh two fifteen on a little one twenty five,
because if it was on a two fifty, I would
have been fucked. It was.
Speaker 5 (38:33):
That would have been the greatest video that's ever been made.
Speaker 6 (38:35):
And I would have felt terrible because those bikes are
so expensive, dude.
Speaker 4 (38:40):
But the way that the riders talked about him, they're like, oh,
you know it is, we break it, they fix it.
Speaker 6 (38:43):
Yeah, but it's like professional riders, not just some nube
you're trying to ride it. But it was. I mean,
that weekend for me is one of the favorite things,
one of my favorite things that we get to do here.
I know, I'm really the kind of only one that
gets to experience it, Like I would love for everybody
else to, but you guys were just traveling, exhausted and everything.
Speaker 5 (39:01):
But like, I'm definitely down to check it out next year.
Speaker 6 (39:04):
Yeah, having my family down for it and like seeing
my dad and like we got to meet Chad Reed
and he's like a legend in motocross and like seeing
him my dad like kind of geek out when Chad
Red's just standing right in front of him talking and stuff.
And like they met Ricky Carmichael at at Morgan Walls
and Dick what's crazy is like my mom, My mom
(39:28):
was like Ricky just like one finger, like come here,
and like you can't do that to a grown man?
Did it to Ricky Carr.
Speaker 5 (39:38):
Your mom has she is not scared of anything.
Speaker 6 (39:42):
And she was like, so like years ago, my parents
used to hang out with Ricky Carmichael's parents at tracks,
so she was like, I know your parents and then
so Ricky just ended up hanging out for five minutes.
But like, I'm sure Nate and my dad were like
what the fuck is going on? But I mean Nate
and his buddy Pat got in here Tuesday night. They
(40:06):
landed at nine point thirty. We get home, Nate and
Brook landed at the same time. We get home, Brooks exhausted.
I'm exhausted because it's way past my bedtime and Nate's like,
all right, Pat, you're ready. I'm like, you guys are
going out right now. He's like, fuck, yeah, what do
you mean? First night?
Speaker 5 (40:23):
Can't beat the first night Tuesday night.
Speaker 6 (40:25):
Until Saturday night. They are not home before two am
every single night, and it is I'm like, what the
fuck is wrong with you guys? And like he's the
same age as Matt Ryan chef like on vacation, I know,
but like do you think you could go on a
five day bender like that.
Speaker 4 (40:45):
If it was spring breakbat?
Speaker 5 (40:48):
But I am, what's the first sign of roque?
Speaker 6 (40:53):
What I think what I'm talking it up to is
like blue collar people. Yeah, like they are just different breeds.
Speaker 5 (40:59):
And it's like you're just drinking beer all day.
Speaker 6 (41:02):
Oh yeah, cold just bush bush lights or bud lights,
bud Lights, bud Lights, bud lights.
Speaker 5 (41:07):
Bush is still part of that family.
Speaker 6 (41:08):
Yeah, he's drinking beer the entire time. And like he'll
wake up and how you guys feeling? And Pat's like, oh,
you know, kinda tired, like ye had no ship. He
got in here at four am. But like there was
one night that came home and I had just had
like my crock pot left over meal and I could
just hear them munching it going crazy.
Speaker 5 (41:31):
What would you make?
Speaker 6 (41:32):
It was like this meatball pastaextually kind of fire.
Speaker 1 (41:36):
Is that a photo you posted? You're like, I beat
her tonight. Yeah, look, Ky, I wanted to reply, so
I'm like, which one is yours?
Speaker 4 (41:44):
Because I couldn't. I feel like you've eaten that other
one before.
Speaker 6 (41:47):
For dinner that was rice cakes and cottage cheese.
Speaker 4 (41:50):
For a second, I thought it was like peanut butter.
Speaker 3 (41:52):
I thought it was a pop tart, and I was like,
this man really posted this with confidence. But also, is
that what Brook likes is rice cakes with cottage?
Speaker 6 (42:00):
He was like, rice cakes with cottage. She's one head
I think hot honey on it and the other had
like balsamic on it. Okay, that sounds disgusting. She's offered
me by I'm like, fuck, no, I don't want that.
But yeah, I mean this weekend was awesome and it
was like Delaney is Delaney, like we all know him
and he's just truly is the man. He's one of one. Yeah,
(42:24):
I think I think Delaney does has some legs. Who
would you say, Dan Walker? Let us know in the
comments if you want to see more Delaney does and
what do you want to see Delaney do?
Speaker 1 (42:39):
Yeah, All of a sudden, there's nothing better than looking
watching the vlog and just seeing Dan in the background.
Dan Carsley Mitch's dad for everybody doesn't know seeing him
in the background, shirt tucked in, belt looped in, just
dadding it up and bro there, he's got to be
front runner for the dad of the Year.
Speaker 6 (42:55):
My mom makes fun of him all the time. It's like,
bro on, tuck your shirt.
Speaker 5 (43:00):
Can't well?
Speaker 3 (43:00):
He he came to Thomas's show. Him and his mom
came Thomas Show on Thursday night. I saw him and
it was great, and I immediately congratulate because Dan just
retired and he goes, well, I'm working against.
Speaker 6 (43:11):
I know, but it's yeah, it's like he's like a
contractor per se and he's able to charge ten times more.
Speaker 1 (43:20):
Yeah, does anybody here watch Love on the Spectrum? No,
I've seen clips and you know, have you seen this
kid Dylan. He's a Hispanic kid from California. He's always
like interesting.
Speaker 5 (43:30):
I don't think so, dude.
Speaker 1 (43:31):
He says per se all the time. And when you
just said it, it just triggered this last episode. I
watched The kid is all time, Like, yeah, if I
had a top five list of human beings, Dylan might
be number one over Chris Hemsworth.
Speaker 6 (43:45):
Wow, say a lot, says a lot, But yeah, when
they when they saw when they saw you and g
at at Whiskey Row, Yeah, Dirck Spentley's. They were fired up.
And my mom just pure pure mom. It was like
she like crest his face, like how are you. I'm like, Mom,
(44:05):
he's thirty years old. You can't be doing that.
Speaker 4 (44:07):
And it was her birthday.
Speaker 5 (44:09):
It was it was her birthday.
Speaker 6 (44:12):
I went up to Jack and gimm like, hey, I'm
sorry if she's doing too much. It's like it's a birthday.
Speaker 5 (44:16):
The fuck off, it's her birthdays. You will let his
mom have fun. You want to Nate have fun.
Speaker 6 (44:22):
Fine, I'm not saying don't have fun. It's like you
know how it is.
Speaker 3 (44:26):
I know, but like that's just like being a sun
and like having that life level of embarrassment that like
your mom does, and then your friends will like dide.
Speaker 5 (44:33):
Your mom rips.
Speaker 6 (44:34):
That's exactly like it is.
Speaker 5 (44:35):
I'm trying to buy your mom's shot right now.
Speaker 6 (44:37):
Yeah, but no, it was. It was a great time
having them in town. It is one of like I'm
sure for those that like have family come in town,
it's like it's a lot and it's great having him here.
But it's like once they leave it's like not like
a weight off your back, but it's like Okay, I
can breathe kind of because it's kind of like stressful,
like trying to figure out all of the ship with
de Laney does and like supercross and stuff and yeah,
(45:00):
fat like Foul came to the race on Saturday and
we got We had to get there early because Delaney
and I were going to do like a track walk
and that took like thirty to forty five minutes. And
then I got these passes and some one of them
told me that like, hey, you need physical tickets to
be able to get in. But then like I was like,
all right, like can I get those? And they're they
(45:20):
were ripping around hanging out with other people, just like
that's their job. So they're like, yeah, we'll be up
in a minute. And then I texted again. I was like,
so I I need these physical tickets or whatever, and
then they were like, oh no, just tell them to
meet you here and then you're able to get him in.
I see my like the first thing, my dad says,
so oh bout fucking time, and I'm like, what do
(45:41):
you I I'm trying, that's a foul said no, that's
what my dad sah. And then Foul I just fouls
just in the back, like he's got his sunglasses on.
You're not like, y'all know foul.
Speaker 4 (45:50):
He's just kind of like, we gotta have foul on.
Speaker 6 (45:52):
I'm surprised. Yeah, Foul was bitching. We had we had
we had an eight thirty flag game last night, and
I'm like, he didn't answer the group chat. I'm like,
you come in tonight. He's like unfortunately, yeah, I'm like,
what do you mean. Unfortunately, He's like eight thirty, it's late.
I'm like, you're not seventy years old.
Speaker 3 (46:09):
I mean he might be the one flag game I
played with y' all. He truly was immobile. He pulled
his back and could not get off the game.
Speaker 6 (46:15):
He went to the er.
Speaker 4 (46:16):
And maybe thirty is late for you. Yeah, but like
it's not like ten months ago.
Speaker 5 (46:22):
You just said that it was nine thirty. Your brother,
it was.
Speaker 6 (46:28):
Eight thirty. Like you're done by nine thirty your home,
You're in bed, showered everything by ten.
Speaker 4 (46:33):
Like a quick routine.
Speaker 5 (46:36):
Not me.
Speaker 6 (46:36):
No, yeah, like nine thirty the game. I took me
forever to fall asleep last night, But like nine thirty
game in your home at ten thirty. That's late, like
nine thirty. I can like, I'm with you that one,
but like eight thirty is not bad.
Speaker 7 (46:49):
Ten thirty is one night starts.
Speaker 4 (46:53):
That's when that beg got cooked out.
Speaker 7 (46:54):
It's like I'm going out. I'm just I'm that's when
my naight starts. But I'm not going out.
Speaker 4 (46:57):
I'm in.
Speaker 5 (46:58):
You're playing Minecraft gaming, honestly, Yeah, I've been on the
Minecraft ride. I really debated purchasing that the other day,
but I just feel like it.
Speaker 2 (47:05):
You know, the phases, that's like the biggest like phase
game ever. You will go through your mindcraft. I'm in
my Mindcraft phase right now.
Speaker 6 (47:11):
I think phase Coop. I'm not gonna say that phase.
Speaker 7 (47:16):
Different kind of phase, different kind of phase.
Speaker 6 (47:20):

Speaker 5 (47:20):
