Speaker 1 (00:00):
That's record here check one two there, Diamond check check
all right, So I'm very excited. This is Serial Killers.
This is the podcast where we eat cereal. Andrew couldn't
be here today or last day or last week, and look,
it is what it is. Things happen. People can't do things,
but the show must go on. Apologies that we missed
last week. You know it was vacation time or whatever.

(00:22):
Andrew and I bank too. We couldn't get a third
one on, very sorry, but here we go. It's Diamond
filling it for Andrew today. And I'm very excited to
play this because you mentioned it, so yeah.

Speaker 2 (00:38):
Imperfect up.

Speaker 3 (00:45):
Something, why don't wait?

Speaker 1 (00:48):
Well, here we are. It's look, I have no idea
what Diamond's going to be able to eat because she's
allergic to literally everything, so I'm gonna leave it completely
up to her to pick the cereals for today. Alright,
So the old front row there, that's all new, So
pick anything in that front row to start with.

Speaker 4 (01:04):
I can't any of it.

Speaker 1 (01:05):
What are you talking about? What do you mean? You
can probably have that kaschi? There's no real apple in there.
There's probably no blueberry in that. Try that three wishes,
the wishing grads. Can you have that? Okay, I really
want to try. Come on, you can have that. There's
nothing bad and there's a Walmart. It's got to be
good stuff. You're not allergic to corn. Corn is so good?

(01:30):
Oh that's come on. That's the peach mango, lucky charms.
You eat lucky charms, Yes, you do. I've seen you
eat lucky charms. Really, and the sine of a toast crunch.
How about that? That's a mystery flavor. You don't know
what it is, so you probably mean it's mystery. It's
a big mystery. Really, So why don't we get away
with that? Because that's probably better than than than No,

(01:52):
we're doing Yeah, but we only do one new one. Okay,
you want to do both of these and you can
just pick a granola or something. Sure, yeah, go behind,
we can do that. Andrew brought that back from some
country he was in. This is it's foreign?

Speaker 5 (02:07):
You do that?

Speaker 1 (02:08):
Yeah, we haven't done that yet. Can you eat that?
You can't read it? You can't read it. It's in
a different language. All right, So then that's what we're
gonna do today. Diamond, Thank you, amazing, love it love it. Okay,
So we're gonna start off with this. This is uh,
this is the K pop demon Hunter Cinnamonto's crunch. So
they're calling it a mystery flavor. Okay, but apparently it's
been it was out before. Secret. Sorry, it's it's guess

(02:29):
the secret. It's soja right he said that, soa soga boys?
What are the soja boys?

Speaker 5 (02:34):
I have no clue. I am thirty, so I don't
do the whole like you. I feel like you're talking
to one of your kids.

Speaker 1 (02:41):
No, you're, but you're in the you are You're like
on the know, in the know with all this stuff.

Speaker 5 (02:47):
Not anymore though. It's really sad, like I don't know
anything anymore.

Speaker 1 (02:50):
We have to kind of keep up with things on
the show in this business, and I feel like, for
the look, if I wasn't working on the show and
at this radio station, I would just be I feel like,
first of all, I'd be bald and fat and have
no idea what was going on. I'd just be sitting
on a couch eating cheetos.

Speaker 4 (03:05):
Okay, excuse me, why which is bald? Do you have hair?

Speaker 1 (03:08):
I know, but I would just be so disconnected from everything.

Speaker 5 (03:10):
Did you get a hair transplant that we need to
know about. We need to talk about this.

Speaker 1 (03:14):
No, but I just feel like like being connected to
pop culture and everything keeps me young, even though I'm
still kind of young.

Speaker 5 (03:19):
I'm sure there are bald people who are also still
connected to pop culture.

Speaker 1 (03:23):
I think you know what I mean, Like fat, I'd
be living in my parents' basement, just sitting on the
couch playing video games I think from the eighties. Anyway,
so this is a secret flavor. I mean, I don't know.
Smell it sells like Cinnamata's crunch.

Speaker 3 (03:42):
All the way in that kind.

Speaker 1 (03:44):
That's fine. Smells like cinnamon TOAs mi. Yes, you have
to do milk. I'll just do a little bit. How
would that We're gonna use two percent today? Is that cool?

Speaker 4 (03:51):
I'm really trying to stay away from dairy so No.

Speaker 1 (03:53):
But okay, why are you concerned with all the diarrhea
that's going around?

Speaker 5 (03:57):
No, I think I'm like, I think I'm not necessarily allergic,
but like it breaks me out.

Speaker 3 (04:05):
So I'm trying to see is it a lactose thing?

Speaker 5 (04:08):
Maybe I break out right here? Look boom right all
in here, flaky, you look great. Thanks babes thanks to
my dermatologists.

Speaker 4 (04:16):
He's Jewish, by the way.

Speaker 3 (04:18):
Very nice cool.

Speaker 1 (04:19):
I mean, you know most doctors are well not really.
Am I allowed to say that I'm Jewish? It's fine, right?
Am I allowed to say that's? Cheers? Cheers?

Speaker 5 (04:29):
Well?

Speaker 1 (04:29):
I mean I was watching an old episode of All
in the Family with Archie Bunker the other day and
he's like, you know, Jewish apple.

Speaker 4 (04:39):
Pumpkin.

Speaker 1 (04:40):
Oh my goodness, it has like a what does that taste?
It is? It's spice, that's It's like not meg. I
think it.

Speaker 3 (04:51):
Is not meg, right, Yeah.

Speaker 1 (04:53):
It tastes almost like Christmas a little bit or Thanksgiving.
It tastes like the holidays.

Speaker 4 (04:58):
Can I read the ingredients because I to know what this?

Speaker 1 (05:00):
Yeah, read the ingredients?

Speaker 4 (05:01):
You have it?

Speaker 1 (05:02):
Oh? Is it like cloves or something?

Speaker 4 (05:06):
It tastes like Christmas?

Speaker 1 (05:07):
It does? Well? Okay, you know we gotta read out loud.

Speaker 4 (05:11):
Oh I'm sorry.

Speaker 5 (05:12):
Whole grain, wheat, sugar, rice, flour, canola and sunflower oil, fruit, toose, maltodoctrine,
artificial crap dextro salt. Listen to this cinnamon something I
can't pronounce soy less than natural and artificial caramel color

(05:34):
rosemary extra.

Speaker 1 (05:35):
That's it.

Speaker 3 (05:36):
That's the rosemary that doesn't taste like roast.

Speaker 1 (05:38):
I think it does little because I don't like rosemary.
You know, this is not horrendous, it's not bad. It's
definitely not up to par of just regular cinnamon. To
his crime, I'm good. I have three bowls for me.

Speaker 4 (05:51):
Do you think people would notice this if they were
just eating.

Speaker 1 (05:53):
It as opposed to what like just actual.

Speaker 4 (05:56):
Like they accidentally get this, yeah, instead of.

Speaker 1 (05:58):
Oh my god, yes, they'd be like what is this?
Or they changed it? I think so, yeah, because I
like send them in toast crunch regular way better than this.

Speaker 4 (06:05):
Okay.

Speaker 1 (06:06):
I mean you know our scale five balls is a best.

Speaker 3 (06:09):
Room two and a half.

Speaker 1 (06:13):
Three. Okay. By the way, I bought this for some reason.
General Mills I don't think likes us anymore. They just
send us boxes of stuff before it came out, and
all these like gift boxes and samples and and all
these fun summer things and everything. We haven't gotten anything
from them for a while, and I don't know if
the deal is, but I still see on all the
other cereal you know, Instagram pages of all the boxes

(06:35):
that are sending out. So I'm not quite sure.

Speaker 3 (06:36):
What's going on.

Speaker 1 (06:38):
I think that got mad at me one time because
they think that I didn't thank them for something they
sent us. Because you know, there's like there's like a
what is it the FTC rules or something like that,
like if the company send you something, you have to
disclose it, and I do. But a lot of times
I buy this stuff before they actually send it. So
I bought the box. So I'm not gonna say they
gave it to me if I bought it, and I
think that was their thing. But that's part. That's fine,

(07:00):
that's behind the curtain stuff. But I'm just saying I
bought this. This did not come from General Mills. So
three balls from you, three balls from me? Cool, two
and a half. Sorry, all right, you change it up,
change it two balls in a spoon.

Speaker 3 (07:10):
I don't like the aftertaste, Yeah, it has that.

Speaker 1 (07:12):
It just has the taste like a Christmas tree.

Speaker 4 (07:14):
Well maybe that's why they're not sending ship because we're talking.

Speaker 1 (07:17):
Oh it's fine, dude.

Speaker 5 (07:18):
Okay, we're talking about it in a bad way. Oh
you you spit out?

Speaker 1 (07:22):
Yeah, But I mean most, I mean I generally generally
love most of General Mills stuff. Okay, you know because
it's all Look, the Lucky Charms one. I don't know
about that one. That one's Manny coming up soon. That's
the other K Pop Demon Hunters one. Yeah, that's the
peach mango Lucky Charms. I'm interested. I'm interested. No, no, no,
no no, I get curious about that. But you can't
eat that, So that's fine. Let's move on to the net.

(07:42):
You want to you know what, Let's uh.

Speaker 3 (07:45):
Cinnamon, I was thinking that.

Speaker 1 (07:46):
No, because we need to cleanse the palate. We'll do
the blueberry. This was the next one you chose. This
is a three Wishes cereal. These are the Wishing Grads.
Cute little family. Are they on this box?

Speaker 5 (07:54):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (07:55):
Well the characters are on here.

Speaker 4 (07:56):
Oh it's like husband what No?

Speaker 1 (07:59):
Yeah, two kids. I think when they started it was
one kid. If I'm not mistaken. They've been around for
a little bit. They're starting to get more and more
into your mainstream stories. This box, I believe I picked
up at Stu Leonard's a couple of weeks ago. They
have limited edition flavors that they come out with. This
is the Blueberry muffin one.

Speaker 3 (08:17):
Look, I'm not excited.

Speaker 1 (08:18):
My reviews of the three wishes are generally mixed. Some
of them have been really good, some of them, you know,
because there are these healthy ish type cereals that generally
haven't aftertaste as far as I'm concerned. Yeah, you know,
you taste the stevia, you taste the monk fruit. But
I don't know. Maybe the blueberry will be overpowering. We'll see.
Someone broke into this box. Ready, was it you?

Speaker 4 (08:35):
No, I wouldn't do that.

Speaker 1 (08:36):
Somebody wanted to try this. I think it was, yeah,
someone wanted to try it.

Speaker 4 (08:39):
They tried a lot.

Speaker 1 (08:40):
Yeah was it Elvis? Maybe I don't know. I forget
who opened this box.

Speaker 3 (08:44):
I thought it was you put them on blast.

Speaker 4 (08:47):
Even if it was Elvis, he can't do that.

Speaker 1 (08:49):
No, No, well, okay, can't ben the rules for all, Elvis.
I let Elvis break the rules all. If he sees
something that he that he likes and it's not open yet,
I'm like, yeah, you can have it, just don't do
you want?

Speaker 5 (09:02):
Okay, not a lot of that one, because I don't know.
I don't have a good feeling about this one.

Speaker 1 (09:06):
I mean, yeah, you're well, thanks. So they look like
they just look like purple fruit loops, and also.

Speaker 5 (09:14):
For something that's supposed to be like I guess fresh
and like a natural.

Speaker 4 (09:21):
These look like and smell like there's nothing but chemicals
in here.

Speaker 1 (09:26):
Well, no, it's not, because the ingredients are simply chickpea,
tapioca pea protein, organic cane sugar, natural flavors, vegetable juice
for color, and monk fruit extract. See the monk fruit.
That's usually what gets me, but it might not. Let's
see milk. I bought this milk. Wlaw was on vacation
last week.

Speaker 5 (09:43):
Why would you tell me that? Because it's probably not
good anymore.

Speaker 1 (09:46):
Just just suck, suck off that spoon. It's just the milk,
all right, I've it smells like blueberries. Oh God, spilled
milk over my shorts.

Speaker 4 (10:04):
Okay, let's see. I'm nervous.

Speaker 1 (10:09):
It's got that weird crunch because it's grain free. The
blueberry tastes okay, normally I will get that aftertaste. Let's
see if that kicks in. The blueberry flavor is nice.

Speaker 3 (10:22):
Yeah, it's not.

Speaker 1 (10:24):
It's not bade and a half. The crunch is interesting
because it's a grain free cereal. So that's the tap
yolka and the chickpea. It's it's not really not it's
not awful. There is just a you know, there's just
a bit of an aftertaste, and I believe that that
comes from the monk fruit. I will give I'll give

(10:44):
this three balls. I think it's pretty decent. It's a
good flavor. It's one of the better flavors that I've
had from them.

Speaker 5 (10:54):
Like if I was hungry and this was all you
had in here, well no, not it was all you had.

Speaker 4 (11:00):
But if I had to make a selection, I think
I'd go for this.

Speaker 1 (11:02):
All right, cool, that's good that from coming from you.
That's that. That's a compliment.

Speaker 5 (11:06):
It just tastes like, okay, what tastes like noodles, the the.

Speaker 1 (11:13):
The actual the consistency.

Speaker 5 (11:16):
No, there's a taste that I'm getting. That's it has
nothing to do with the blueberries, like the actual what
do you call it, the actual loop or whatever.

Speaker 1 (11:24):
The actual loop loop that's the probably the chickpea that.

Speaker 5 (11:28):
Or something like that gives me. It tastes like okay,
But it tastes like noodles before you put like you know,
the noodle that you test to see.

Speaker 1 (11:36):
If sure the crunch crunching pasta. It's just like the
consistency is okay, all right, cool, Well, whatever it is
three bolts from both of us. Uh, and we will
be right back right after this. I don't have the sound.
He always yells at me. I'm gonna I'm gonna do
it real quick because I want it to be right.

Speaker 4 (11:54):
Are you kidding?

Speaker 1 (11:55):
Well, it's the commercial break thing here? It's right here,
but I think there's an ad at the beginning, like
there's there's an ad for the commercial breaksound. Like it's
so stupid, don't put it on the board. Yeah, it's
not on the board. God, it's so dumb. No, here
there we go, okay, skip right, yeah, skip, we'll be
right back edward back here we are. Yeah. Well that's see.

(12:22):
We used to have the box what's that box of
the roadcast or whatever, so back in the day we
didn't heat. That was our little We'll be right back
after this, he would hit that.

Speaker 4 (12:30):
I mean, it's kind of cute. The thought behind it
is cute.

Speaker 1 (12:33):
But okay, all right, So Andrew, where was he? Where
do he just travel to this? Like? I brought this back? Okay?
So he said, I'm sorry I had to put it
in the suitcase and it got all crushed up. This
like those are the cinematast crunch mascots, the crazy little guys.
Nestley makes it over there. I don't remember which country

(12:55):
he said this, London in the UK, Yeah, yeah, Nestlie
cereals UK.

Speaker 5 (12:59):
I mean in English, so well, yeah, well, if it
was in Rome, it would be in Italian.

Speaker 1 (13:04):
Not always well okay, sometimes they have multiple Also.

Speaker 5 (13:07):
I'm very excited about this because the food in the
UK is way more fresh, fresh.

Speaker 1 (13:14):
Yes, I just think the ingredients, the ingredients of.

Speaker 4 (13:16):
The art were cleaner. It's fresh.

Speaker 1 (13:18):
There's a lot of stuff they don't allow there that
we don't care about.

Speaker 5 (13:21):
Yeah, honestly, I'm thinking about hiding this already before I
even just smells like cinnamon.

Speaker 4 (13:26):
Yeah, double me up, No, don't.

Speaker 1 (13:31):
Why did you need lunch? Are you getting a free
meal out of this? So this is called curiously cinnamon,
Crazily Cinnamon's that's a lot.

Speaker 4 (13:39):
I don't like that.

Speaker 1 (13:40):
Curiously cinnamon, I guess is the name of the cereal,
and then the flavor is crazily cinnamon.

Speaker 5 (13:44):
Maybe it's like double where like maybe they do other flavors,
you know.

Speaker 1 (13:47):
I guess well. I mean, these are obviously cinnamon toa's crunch,
so I'm guessing that General Mills probably licenses it to
Nestley overseas. Did you want another spoon? You're good?

Speaker 4 (13:58):
Okay, all right, I'm nervous.

Speaker 1 (14:01):
He brought something else back to it was, Oh my.

Speaker 3 (14:04):
God, I don't do a lot of milk.

Speaker 1 (14:06):
Oh, hold on a second, I didn't you know, Sorry, diamond,
I have to play something like it's a requirement.

Speaker 4 (14:17):
Hang on serial killers in.

Speaker 1 (14:22):
Yeah, because it's not from it's not from here. From here, alright,
here we go. They look like Cinnamata's crunch is a
little bit lighter. There's a bit different, there's not okay,
So the American version has a lot more sugar mixed

(14:43):
in with the cinnamon on it. This one's a lot
more cinnamon dusty just like cinnamon. There's not as much sugar.
It's not as sweet. Gives there's not a bad thing.

Speaker 3 (14:53):
Kind of like big red.

Speaker 4 (14:54):
No, you taste that big red?

Speaker 1 (14:58):
Oh my god, yeah, pish a little longer, then close
a little longer, longer with big red. Oh really, big red,
freshness last right through it. I don't know that your
fresh breath goes on and on while you chew it.

Speaker 4 (15:11):
No, we are in twenty twenty six.

Speaker 1 (15:13):
Let it go. That's old.

Speaker 4 (15:16):
Let it go, man, I mean.

Speaker 1 (15:25):
It's it's good. It's not. Look, nothing's gonna be a
cinnamon toast crunch. If you're trying to be a cinnamon
toast crunch. This isn't it. This is way more cinnamon
than it is sweet. It's not a bad cereal. Three
bowls in the spoon.

Speaker 4 (15:37):
I think I'll do the same.

Speaker 5 (15:38):
Wow, what would be good if you did like this
would be amazing.

Speaker 3 (15:44):
And like chocolate ice cream, okay.

Speaker 5 (15:46):
If you were looking for some type of like concoction,
I'm a concoction girl when it comes.

Speaker 1 (15:50):
To like you probably love going to these ice cream
places that mix all this stuff in and they got
fruity Pebble's ice cream in the well.

Speaker 5 (15:55):
No, and yes, like I love going there. But I
am very basic as far as like what I get.
So I do like Greek yogurt or vanilla ice cream
with that in there, just a little bit, give it
a little a different taste.

Speaker 1 (16:06):
You know, I'm not much of us. I don't do
the like the mix ins. Although I mean, okay, so
I was in Long Beach Island last week. You know
that's Jersey, down South Jersey.

Speaker 3 (16:14):
I just learned that.

Speaker 1 (16:15):
And there is an ice cream place there. Ship Bottom
is the part of town that is. And they had
New Jersey corn ice cream and I got there a
day late and they didn't have it anymore. Corn ice
cream is so underrated. It's you wouldn't think I don't
want vegetable ice cream, but it's sweet and it is incredible.
I used to get it with Elvis at this place
called cones And in the village years and years ago,

(16:36):
and I have not had it since. And I saw
a sign for it, and then I got there and
they didn't have it anymore. And I'm so disappointed.

Speaker 5 (16:42):
Is it?

Speaker 1 (16:42):
Oh, it's seasonal, It is seasonal. Yeah, it's summer corn.
I just spit.

Speaker 5 (16:47):
Sorry, I didn't see it. I was just thinking about, well,
I'm allergic to corn, so I can't try it.

Speaker 1 (16:51):
But are you actually though, yes? Okay, like okay, so
like nibblets you can't have? Or is it just like
ground up corn in cereal? Or is everything well.

Speaker 5 (17:00):
My throat used to close based off of ground up
corn in things, but now it's not as bad. But
I think it does have something to do similar to
the to the milk and the dairy situation where like
my skin breaks out?

Speaker 1 (17:11):
Can you do fresh corn? Like on the curb? Nothing?
All right?

Speaker 4 (17:16):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (17:17):
All right, well, Diamond, look, I appreciate you being here today,
really because otherwise we would have had nothing in the
fans just you know, they crave, they craved this podcast.

Speaker 4 (17:24):
Remember when the fans of this podcast hated me.

Speaker 1 (17:27):
Yeah, well, because you would bust in and curse and
call us names and leave.

Speaker 4 (17:30):
I love that.

Speaker 1 (17:31):
But I like this new, this new you know, I
don't know kinder gentler, Diamond.

Speaker 4 (17:38):
Well you know what you guys?

Speaker 1 (17:40):
Here we go.

Speaker 4 (17:40):
Yeah, I'm not gonna do it. I almost did it.

Speaker 1 (17:43):
Yeah all right, well listen. Thank you for listening to
Serial Killers. Please check us out at serial killerspc dot com.
You can see all the ratings we've done from the

hundred or fifteen hundred sereials at this point. That's insane,
is it not. Yeah?

Speaker 5 (17:55):
Yeah, I remember when you started this podcast.

Speaker 1 (17:57):
Do you remember when you remember one of the first
cereals that we did, the very first episode. It was
banana cream frosted flakes.

Speaker 4 (18:04):
Yeah, it would you give it?

Speaker 1 (18:05):
I don't remember. That was six years ago, seven almost
seven years ago. It is it is insane. No, you
are also follow us on Instagram it's Serial Killers PC and.

Speaker 4 (18:16):
At Diamond Sincere on Instagram do that.

Speaker 1 (18:19):
Oh you know what? And at Ze scott eb on
Instagram that's we never give out our personal ones. Really Okay, So, uh,
my fiance almost said my girlfriend, but Megan, for my birthday,
she bought me. Now, look I didn't ask for this.
I just we were in a pizza place one day.
You know, our friends Phil's the pizza place in sciost

(18:39):
does all the videos. He came up here a couple
of times.

Speaker 4 (18:42):
So good pizza.

Speaker 1 (18:43):
Yeah. So in his store he's got the Instagram counter
because you know he's he's viral and everything. Yeah, and
so I saw it when I was in there with her,
and I was like, oh my god, I would love that.
That's the coolest thing. And he told me how much
it was, and like, forget that. It was like a
couple hundred dollars and and that was that. And then
for my birth all of a sudden, she got me
an Instagram counter.

Speaker 4 (19:02):
What is that?

Speaker 1 (19:03):
Well, Okay, So it's really cool. It's like a it's
a thing. It's like this big. It's just like a sign. Yeah,
there's a little Instagram logo and it ticks up every
time you get a new follower. Oh god, yeah. Yeah,
it's like the train ticker, the thing that we have
