Speaker 1 (00:00):
Now now I can press record. Yes anyway, Like I
was saying, Andrew, one day, you'll see when you have kids,
you'll know what it's all about. Is it what he
fixed it? I did ask him to. We've been asking
it for years.
Speaker 2 (00:14):
Yes, look at that.
Speaker 1 (00:16):
Wow, unless it's just broken. Maybe it's just broken.
Speaker 2 (00:20):
Well so in another studio, Yeah it is broken or no, no, sorry,
the wire is faulty, okay, and they can't simply they can't.
The levels are raised anyway. Yeah, the they can't replace
it because the wire is inside and this is from
like Germany, so it literally is impossible to fix it
(00:42):
without replacing the whole arm.
Speaker 1 (00:43):
That's cool.
Speaker 2 (00:44):
Yeah, you know what I was thinking, The dumbest thing
in the world together.
Speaker 1 (00:49):
Gather, Yeah it is. I just can't imagine that you've
ever been gone. It's not starting over, it's just going on.
That's piggy. We're recording. Yeah, yeah, we started. It's rude
(01:09):
to just bust in. Yeah, wait till there's a sauce
on the side happening. Guess who's busting in the door.
Speaker 2 (01:15):
You'll see he didn't want anything.
Speaker 1 (01:19):
I want something nobody cares about you.
Speaker 2 (01:21):
It's Mediterranean food. That's way beyond.
Speaker 1 (01:23):
It's too healthy. My cardiologists like you need the Mediterranean diet,
even saying that for like ten years, my cholesterols through
the roof. Now so it's yours though, So it's not
doing anything for you either. What no, man, you stay here,
you stay stay Where are you going to get my phone?
All right, I'm gonna tell everybody how mad I am
(01:43):
about the last couple of weeks, because yeah, no, no, no,
that's fine. I am man. I'm very very mad because
you know, it's been three weeks since Andrew's been here.
I've been asking him and asking him and asking him, dude,
let's record, let's record, okay tomorrow, Okay, I can't. Oh,
I can't. This popped up, oh, popped up. That popped up.
And then last week I finally just gave up because
it was already Thursday afternoon. I'm like, dude, I can't anymore.
(02:07):
So he wound up grabbing uh, Stephanie last week, and
and you know, he did a mess of an episode
with Stephanie last week. And of course he also I'm
not sure if anybody noticed here, hello, but he just
grabbed from the cereal shelves.
Speaker 2 (02:19):
If anyone noticed.
Speaker 1 (02:20):
Hello, Yeah, three all new cereals. We don't do that.
Speaker 2 (02:25):
Sorry, I have to break my fast. Oop, I don't
start now. We don't do three all new cereals. Ever,
at once there was a special episode. All right, you
don't even know. Complaints are over.
Speaker 1 (02:35):
You don't even know.
Speaker 2 (02:35):
We're not complaining. We're happy, we're together.
Speaker 1 (02:40):
Okay, let's eat, Andrew, let's get some more sugar pumping
through the veins.
Speaker 2 (02:44):
Well, yeah, my fast is over. I did my fifteen hours.
Speaker 1 (02:47):
Whatever, Bro, you follow all these dumb TikTok things that
you think are going to do anything for you.
Speaker 2 (02:50):
I don't even have a TikTok.
Speaker 1 (02:52):
Do your doctor says which then? And then don't? Then don't?
Speaker 2 (02:56):
Well, I have been eating healthier. I switched to turkey
meat instead of red meat. I don't believe that, she si.
Speaker 1 (03:03):
I've been eating turkey, ground turkey and stuff forever. It
doesn't do anything.
Speaker 2 (03:07):
Just telling you, I could see it being like you
add a lot more to it, though.
Speaker 1 (03:11):
No, no, no, Last time my daughter made stuffed peppers
like turkey, please ground turkey. I ate the peppers, just
the stuff.
Speaker 2 (03:18):
So veggies seem important though.
Speaker 1 (03:20):
Well they are, But I don't I hate peppers?
Speaker 2 (03:22):
Terrible someone something. You didn't have a stuff peppers.
Speaker 1 (03:25):
I had the stuff.
Speaker 2 (03:26):
So you just said stuffing. Yes, so you wonder why
your cholesterolsh You just ate stuffing.
Speaker 1 (03:33):
It wasn't stuffing. It was turkey ground turkey with peas
and onions. It was you. I added the peas. That
was my idea. Oh yeah, hey, let's eat cereal. Because
this is not the cooking podcast. It's the cereal podcast
where we eat cereal. This one's been on the cereal
shelf for a couple of weeks now. It's the companion
to the Cinnamonta's Crunch Mystery one that we did. Oh
you weren't here. I did that with Danielle. That's right,
(03:55):
all right, So Lucky Charms, Baby Peach, Mango cool.
Speaker 2 (04:02):
Demon Hunter that's right, Hunterricks, Yeah, pun tricks. We run
this show.
Speaker 1 (04:07):
Now, what was the whole thing?
Speaker 2 (04:08):
Is?
Speaker 1 (04:08):
It's not? There's nothing? Is this something in the theater still?
Or what's going on? K Pop? Demon Hunters? That on Netflix?
Speaker 2 (04:13):
Yeah, it's been on Netflix since last year. So why
why did this just come out like a couple months ago?
Because it's still really popular and the kids love it.
Speaker 1 (04:19):
I am excited for this. The peach mangos is just
it's interesting flavor, it's intriguing. But the marshmallows, I don't know.
Speaker 2 (04:25):
It might be a little too much of everything.
Speaker 1 (04:27):
Oh, I don't know how they got that flavor. But
smell that interests It smells like fresh mango.
Speaker 2 (04:35):
Yeah, did you see mango? Mango? Have you been there?
I'm shocked. I feel like place. It's just all mango things.
But it's like boba and like all this other it's
like super trendy. She she kids love it. It's TikTok oh.
Speaker 1 (04:51):
Is it in the city.
Speaker 2 (04:52):
There's a bunch of them. Oh, I'm surprised she hasn't
been there yet.
Speaker 1 (04:56):
No, let me get some milk.
Speaker 2 (04:58):
We're gonna beat rocking two percent today. We're rocking two percent.
Speaker 1 (05:02):
Here, grab yourself a spoon.
Speaker 2 (05:03):
Thank you.
Speaker 1 (05:04):
Oh plus, it's pricially.
Speaker 2 (05:06):
You don't make me.
Speaker 1 (05:06):
I just wasted two spoons here.
Speaker 2 (05:08):
Great, well you got more than enough. I think you're good.
Speaker 1 (05:10):
Okay, go back to the fridge. Ow that one spoon
acted like a stopper.
Speaker 2 (05:16):
Yeah, it just fell off my chair and you're gonna
snap it. Yep op.
Speaker 1 (05:21):
Two percent milk Andrew, Great, how can we do there's
no milk companies that are interested in us. I don't understand.
Speaker 2 (05:26):
Quick check would be great?
Speaker 1 (05:27):
Yeah, I love, I would love this is quick Check milk.
Speaker 2 (05:31):
That's four marshmall is combined amazing.
Speaker 1 (05:34):
The quality control is just horrific. That's what happens when
General Mills is no longer our friend.
Speaker 2 (05:38):
One to.
Speaker 1 (05:41):
Oh not interesting. It reminds me of you. What reminds
me of you know what? You wouldn't remember? You're right,
I won't remember peach cheerios? Yes, no, you don't, No,
I do. It reminds me a little bit. The marshmallows
just don't. It's not necessary. The cereal alone would be great.
Speaker 2 (06:00):
It tastes like berryberry kicks. Nope, yes it does with marshmallows,
which I like. This is fine. It's a little too sweet,
but I'm gonna give this four bowls. I think it's
pretty good. I'm not really tasting much mango. Why I'm
tasting more peach than I am.
Speaker 1 (06:16):
Yeah, it's yummy.
Speaker 2 (06:18):
M hmm.
Speaker 1 (06:19):
I do like it. I'm just trying to figure it out.
The marshmallows might be better. You know what if you
subbed out the ricks go on tricks.
Speaker 2 (06:28):
It's tricks with marshmallows. Screw what I said about berry
berry kicks. It's tricks with marshmallows, which we've had before.
That exists, but this is what that tastes like.
Speaker 1 (06:38):
I disagree, but I think this would also be a
better circle if it wasn't Lucky Charms and it was
just the flavor without marshmallows, but little chunks of peaches.
Speaker 2 (06:47):
So that's not gonna happen. But why, I just don't
think what's gonna happen?
Speaker 1 (06:52):
Why not? It's just not little dried peaches?
Speaker 2 (06:55):
Yeah, no, no dried peaches.
Speaker 1 (06:56):
Oh god, it's not even here anymore.
Speaker 2 (06:58):
You just searched the wrong thing every time.
Speaker 1 (07:00):
It's not here anymore. Peaches come from a can President America.
Because I had the clip in here under serial killers
and it's not here anymore. Why do things just vanish?
Speaker 2 (07:12):
I So for me, what I think you're doing is
you're not you're Sometimes there's a dash, sometimes there's not
a dash.
Speaker 1 (07:19):
No, everything, we have a c K. That's how I
do it.
Speaker 2 (07:22):
Okay, it's a search.
Speaker 1 (07:24):
Serial killers don't have to I don't title it's serial killers.
Speaker 2 (07:27):
But maybe you did because it was so old. Why
don't you just check?
Speaker 1 (07:30):
No, I don't want to. I want to move on.
I'm going to give it also four balls. I like it.
Speaker 2 (07:35):
I love it. There might be a solution, but you're like, no, no,
it's over.
Speaker 1 (07:38):
It's over.
Speaker 2 (07:39):
There is no solution there is, it's just you don't
ever want to.
Speaker 1 (07:43):
But the moment has passed. It's passed.
Speaker 2 (07:46):
You're right, So it's better to just be defeated than
actually try. Take that as a lesson, gids. Just give up.
Speaker 1 (07:54):
All right, here's the next one, Andrew. I saw this
on the shelf at Target. By the way, I've been
buying all the cereal just so you know a lot
of it. General, I was mentioned in the last episode,
like the one before you did with Stephanie, because you
promised to do it with me but then you didn't.
Speaker 2 (08:10):
Oh okay, grudge that, regib.
Speaker 1 (08:13):
Yeah, General Mills, I don't think likes us anymore. When's
the last time you've seen a care package from them?
I see all these other podcasts posting care packages, but
I think they're done with us.
Speaker 2 (08:23):
Did you reach out by email?
Speaker 1 (08:25):
Uh no, no, they just come on the regular.
Speaker 2 (08:28):
Maybe we just need to re sign up online.
Speaker 1 (08:30):
No, and I had mentioned a couple of weeks ago. Uh,
since you don't listen either, is there was one time
where they were mad and they were like, you posted this,
but you didn't give us props for it, you know,
And I'm like, well, I bought that because I bought
it before you sent it. So I'm sorry, thank you,
but no, and I don't think they liked that.
Speaker 2 (08:53):
I want to see where they got mad. That was
something to me just says, hey, if you're going to
feature it, would you mind giving us credit. Well, I
don't think I ever saw a message come in that
inbox that was like.
Speaker 1 (09:04):
You should be a shamed. Well they've they've said a
mad They said it more than once to me, and
I answered the same way three times. I'm like, I
appreciate it, love your boxes, but I already bought this
or either that or former Matt has sent it to
us before it got to us. Yeah, so you know,
I get it. I thank you, love the love the
complimentary Maybe we just.
Speaker 2 (09:21):
Need to go back and sign up or just check
our emails anyway, Target again a solution you did one way,
you saw nothing else and then just boldly made a
claim good yea, that's my favorite thing that you do.
Speaker 1 (09:35):
Couldn't gather. There was a bunch of different flavors on
the shelf, these little bags of good and gathered cereal.
I accidentally bought two of these.
Speaker 2 (09:42):
This is Tony the Tiger's son.
Speaker 1 (09:43):
No, it isn't, because it's not even frosted flakes.
Speaker 2 (09:46):
It still looks like Tony the Tiger.
Speaker 1 (09:48):
I don't think it does. It's just a tiger. I
think it looks more like Daniel Tiger.
Speaker 2 (09:53):
I know who that is? He? Do you know that's
by the same people that made Not Curious George the
mister Rogers.
Speaker 1 (10:00):
Yeah, because that's where Daniel Tiger's from.
Speaker 2 (10:02):
Yeah, Daniel Tiger.
Speaker 1 (10:03):
Did you know that Fred Rogers was the voice of
Daniel Tiger? Well, definitely of Lady Aberlin or whatever her
name was, but I think of Daniel Daniel Tiger also
he was.
Speaker 2 (10:14):
So what's the shtick on this one? It's just cereal? Okay, yeah, no,
there are coco cereal, no high fruitos quarantin, artificial flavors,
artificial sweeteners or synthetic colors, and it's five grams of
added sugar. It's a good source of protein.
Speaker 1 (10:27):
And there's amazed on the back.
Speaker 2 (10:28):
Yeah. Fun, stir up some fun, add a little joy
your morning with good and gathered cocoa cereal.
Speaker 1 (10:32):
I'll tell you, I really wanted to try that backflip
chocolate cereal that you did last week, which you should
not have, but that's fine. I really wanted to try it.
Speaker 2 (10:40):
So once again, you were eating it in the bathroom
like a weirdo.
Speaker 1 (10:45):
Want to try it on the show.
Speaker 2 (10:47):
Okay, So that was ruined for you too.
Speaker 1 (10:49):
It was because you remember when I was you.
Speaker 2 (10:50):
Realized that this episode has been going on for now
ten minutes and you've complained for a solid nine minutes
and thirty seconds.
Speaker 1 (10:57):
I think it's warranted.
Speaker 2 (10:58):
Snap out of it, bring it up. People don't want
to listen to you complain about every little thing.
Speaker 1 (11:03):
Some do a tiny bit. But do you remember the
time when I called you from Target? I sent you
pictures and like which one would you want to try?
And you were like cinnamon, But I'm like, oh God,
of course, I guess I'll get them both. So instead
you did the chocolate that I wanted, but you left
the cinnamon behind.
Speaker 2 (11:17):
Are we done? We're gonna try the cereal?
Speaker 1 (11:19):
All right?
Speaker 2 (11:19):
Let's get into good together.
Speaker 1 (11:23):
It smells just like the backflip that you did last week,
because I smelled it before I ate it, before I
went into the bathroom.
Speaker 2 (11:31):
M m no.
Speaker 1 (11:33):
But there's like some kind of pea stuff in here,
because I don't mean like pee, I mean.
Speaker 2 (11:37):
P e a very dry.
Speaker 1 (11:40):
The consistency of the cereal is odd.
Speaker 2 (11:41):
It tastes like packing peanuts with chocolate covered.
Speaker 1 (11:43):
Does It doesn't taste like it. It has a consistency
of it.
Speaker 2 (11:46):
Can I do one thing right in this episode?
Speaker 1 (11:50):
To take a step?
Speaker 2 (11:51):
Come on, come on, you gotta take a step.
Speaker 1 (11:53):
Come on? What do you eat a packing peanut?
Speaker 2 (11:54):
Who knows? Scott Jesus, Lord Mary and Joseph.
Speaker 1 (11:59):
Lord Marion, Joseph.
Speaker 2 (12:01):
Can I say you know what? My mouth is shut?
Two bowls?
Speaker 1 (12:08):
There you go, pal. It has a nice chocolate flavor.
It makes a nice chocolate milk. I just don't really
like the consistency of the o's. It's strange. It almost
has the consistency of a packing peanut. You know, the
styrofoam things. I don't know what they taste like. I've
(12:29):
never eaten one, but it has a consistency of it.
It's not horrific, but it's just not what you're expecting
when you see that kind of Oh, I'm going to
give it three bowls and a spoon because the chocolate
flavor is nice. Andrew gave it two bowls. So we're
going to take a break right now and we'll be
(12:49):
back right after this. Should I play the thing here? Yeah? Yeah,
it's not there. I gotta go for a new tab
and then I go here and we'll just do that. Yeah,
we'll be right back and we're back. Hey, pal, well
(13:11):
recharged from that break. Cool. This came from our friend
farmer Matt. He sent this from the Food Lion from
a random see but okay, so it's Food Lion Crispy
rice cereal, which is gonna be your generic rice crispies.
And he wrote that it's from a random Amish grocery store.
(13:31):
So I guess random Amish grocery stores in Pennsylvania sell
store brand products. And if we don't like it, Andrew,
we'd double our money back. We didn't pay for it,
so it'll just be free free. Yeah. But the thing is, though,
it wasn't purchased at a food Lion, so how would
we get our money back? You know? I don't know.
I don't know, all right, So I'm gonna go in
(13:52):
here to see. I'm gonna guess it. You know, it's
just like Rice Crispies. It's just gonna mime the rest
of this episode. Hmm okay, it smells like nothing. Actually
smells like packing peanuts a little bit here. There you go.
(14:12):
Do you have to talk? It's a damn podcast. Most
people are not watching it, they're listening to it. All right,
I'll just finish this up. I'll put a little milk
in here. I'm gonna see if it makes sound. Oh,
it's it's snoop croukling and pooping. That's very good. H
(14:35):
I can't since I can't, Oh, he's gonna put a
little bit of milk in his. Yeah. Look, got rice crispberes,
and they pretty much taste like rice grostbees. So again,
like we've said in the past, store brands generally just
(14:56):
as good as your name brand, and at some times
like less than half the price. I'm you know, it's
Rice Krispies. You can make your treats with this. You
can do whatever you want with it. I'm gonna give them.
I'm gonna give this four bowls as well, because it's
very rice krispy. Ask if that's what you're looking for.
Very very many different stores make crispy rice because that's
(15:19):
what they call it because they can't say rice krispies.
So right, cool man. I mean, this has been really exciting.
The last five minutes has been awesome. So please follow

(15:42):

maybe nine ten months here? Yeah?

Crunch Do you want to say, Hey, sorry I was.
I just maybe was going a little too hard for
solid ten minutes. Crunch, Just say sorry.
