Speaker 1 (00:00):
Hi, Hi, Scott.
Speaker 2 (00:01):
How you doing good? How are you good? Welcome to
Serial Killers?
Speaker 1 (00:04):
Great? Are we going to be nice to each other
this episode? Yeah?
Speaker 2 (00:06):
I love you.
Speaker 1 (00:07):
I love you too, Scott.
Speaker 2 (00:08):
Yeah, it's nice.
Speaker 1 (00:09):
You know, I'm not. Hopefully we don't have another incident
where I have to keep quiet. No no, no, no
because I'm bullying.
Speaker 2 (00:15):
No no, You're welcome to always speak. Thank you, and
you can. You know, you can lead the conversation.
Speaker 1 (00:22):
You know. Sometimes when I try, I get shut down
very quickly.
Speaker 2 (00:25):
Sometimes you say the wrong things.
Speaker 1 (00:27):
Well, you know, sometimes maybe it's best to keep that
as an inside thought. Okay, is that jam from the farm?
Speaker 2 (00:34):
This jam is from a farmer, Matt. Oh would you
like it?
Speaker 1 (00:38):
He gave me a jam too, I forgot, yeah, put it.
Speaker 2 (00:40):
I have to bring some bread. I keep forgetting to
bring bread.
Speaker 1 (00:43):
Oh fresh sourdough with that? Oh?
Speaker 2 (00:44):
Oh yeah, I have.
Speaker 1 (00:46):
A PBNJ waiting for me. Oh that reminds me of
to break my fast.
Speaker 2 (00:50):
Oh my god, you're out of your mind.
Speaker 1 (00:51):
I technically, if I waited another six minutes, I would
have hit the damn fifteen hour mark. But fourteen hours,
fifty five minutes and I'm done. What does this remind
you of a spider? Oh? Oh the Wednesday the hand?
Yeah it right, No, that's I think? No, uh it
cousin it no, cousin. It is the one with the hair.
Speaker 2 (01:12):
Really, so what's the hand thing? I don't know. I
should research these things. Look, there's a new Wednesday Cereal Andrew.
Speaker 1 (01:19):
Is there another season of Wednesday coming out?
Speaker 2 (01:21):
Yeah, but not till like twenty twenty seven, so I
don't understand.
Speaker 1 (01:24):
Well, we've had Wednesday.
Speaker 2 (01:25):
So there was two of them. Yeah, we did two
of them. And then I noticed on the rack at
shop right that this was there. This is the new one.
All the serial podcasts are all posting pictures of this.
Oh so maybe we have it first. I don't know.
Speaker 1 (01:35):
Strawberry snap, Yeah, would you like that?
Speaker 2 (01:38):
Yeah, there's the hand to get it? Yes? No, no, no,
no, no no yeah. Yeah. I was never really a big fan.
Speaker 1 (01:46):
Honestly, the movies that came out with Angelica Houston and
ral Julia are two of my favorite movies. Adam's Family
and Adams Family Values. Right Wednesday I have not watched,
but I've seen clips and I don't think I am
wanting to watch it.
Speaker 2 (02:04):
Do you know the song yeah, that's when the movie
they do what they want to do, say what I
want to say.
Speaker 1 (02:10):
Yeah, that's Empty Hammer that came out in the nineties.
That's why. Yes, yeah, yeah, they're two great movies. Oh
oh look it was a perfect tar. Thank you.
Speaker 2 (02:22):
Andrew's opening the bag for people that are not watching.
Let's oh yeah.
Speaker 1 (02:28):
This smells so good.
Speaker 2 (02:30):
It does smell nice.
Speaker 1 (02:32):
Yeah. So it's strawberry snap and it makes delicious strawberry
flavored milk flavored. Yeah what did I say that wrong?
Speaker 2 (02:40):
Because it's not real strawberry What.
Speaker 1 (02:44):
I think they knew that. Who would have ever said
that there were real strawberries in this that made the milk?
Speaker 2 (02:50):
There should be dried strawberries in here, I don't think so,
like in their special k.
Speaker 1 (02:56):
No. I think this is fine. It's gonna taste like
nest Quick, but strawberry as.
Speaker 2 (03:01):
Quick yeah or Bosco sure or Bossco or Fox as
you bet or yeah either or Sure high diamond.
Speaker 1 (03:11):
Oh so nice she's waving. Those are all lactaid.
Speaker 2 (03:15):
Yeah. Also some extra calcium for you, Andrew two percent today,
Thank you so much.
Speaker 1 (03:19):
Welcome.
Speaker 2 (03:20):
I'm excited for this me too. It's kind of like
strawberry frosted flakes.
Speaker 1 (03:22):
I would think yea, and it could be the same
company because it's Kellogg's.
Speaker 2 (03:26):
It could be the same Cereal. It could be the
strawberry milkshake frosted flakes. Very quint for you. Hmmm, incredibly qunchy.
Speaker 1 (03:41):
Crunchy and delicious, not overpowering. My gosh, this is good.
Speaker 2 (03:47):
But these the base is frosted flakes, yeah, or cornflakes. Yeah.
Speaker 1 (03:52):
I'm giving this five bowls. This is delicious, really so good.
I really really really like this. It's sweet, but I
like the strawberry cutting through. It makes it nice.
Speaker 2 (04:03):
How's the milk?
Speaker 1 (04:08):
Well, I can't bring the score down because the milk
just tastes like milk.
Speaker 2 (04:12):
No, you don't hard to bring the score down. We
don't judge the milk.
Speaker 1 (04:15):
The strawberry milk does not come through for me.
Speaker 2 (04:17):
Could you probably have to give it a little time?
Speaker 1 (04:20):
Yeah, well time is of the essence on this podcast,
so you know.
Speaker 2 (04:26):
I'm a fan.
Speaker 1 (04:26):
Yeah, but that is delicious.
Speaker 2 (04:28):
I'm gonna stop short of letting it become a legacy Cereal. Oh,
I'm giving it four balls on a spoon. Okay, I
do do me from time to time. Sometimes it's necessary.
Speaker 1 (04:40):
Yeah, this is really good. This is the best Wednesday
cereal we've had.
Speaker 2 (04:44):
Do you remember the other ones?
Speaker 1 (04:45):
Yeah, we didn't like them.
Speaker 2 (04:46):
We did it.
Speaker 1 (04:46):
There was one with marshmallows, and then there was one
that was like purple.
Speaker 2 (04:51):
Oh yeah, same color boxes though the display at the
shop right purple. Yeah, yeah yeah, strawberry snap. Yeah, strawberry snap.
Speaker 1 (05:01):
Is it? I like the cereal a lot.
Speaker 2 (05:03):
Do you remember it in living color?
Speaker 1 (05:05):
I never watched it.
Speaker 2 (05:06):
Two snaps in a Z formation. Very good. How do
you know that?
Speaker 1 (05:11):
The Waynes brothers?
Speaker 2 (05:12):
Yeah, yeah, so many, there's so many Wayans kids. Yeah,
and they were all in I'm going to get you, sucker.
That wasn't my favorite movies.
Speaker 1 (05:19):
They did my wife and kids. They did scary movies.
Speaker 2 (05:25):
Yeah yeah, all right. Well now back to our pal
farmer Matt. He found this at Sam's Clubs for us.
I'm not a member. We've done some seven Sundays before,
yes we have. We had the sunflower one was really good.
You like that?
Speaker 1 (05:40):
I did? I did remember that.
Speaker 2 (05:41):
No, this is gone. I took it home to Ashley.
She liked it too. So this is Rise and Shine granola.
I'm not going to.
Speaker 1 (05:49):
Like this, can I see it. Yeah, Oh god, that's
like a lot.
Speaker 2 (05:54):
It is a lot going on. But also because it's
strawberry banana. Yeah, I don't like banana in things. I
only like fresh bana.
Speaker 1 (06:01):
I do enjoy banana. I think I'm gonna like this
song because if it's banana chips, that'll be nice.
Speaker 2 (06:06):
I do like fresh bananas, and it has to be
just the perfect yellow.
Speaker 1 (06:09):
Somebody asked me where we stand on fresh fruit and cereal,
and I said, I'm fine with it, like rice, krispies,
and banana is a classic for me. You are not
a that to you taints it.
Speaker 2 (06:20):
Listen, Homie, I'm fine with it, but I'm not gonna rate.
Speaker 1 (06:23):
It home with it.
Speaker 2 (06:24):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (06:24):
We talk about in Living Color once and now you're saying, homie, Homie,
don't play that.
Speaker 2 (06:28):
Okay, that's when I get to hit you with a
sock with a rock in it. Oh is it prison? No,
it's Homie the clown.
Speaker 1 (06:36):
Oh is that from the in Living Color?
Speaker 2 (06:38):
Yeah? That was damon Wayne.
Speaker 1 (06:39):
Oh got it?
Speaker 2 (06:40):
Homeie? Don't play that. That was on T shirts and everything
back in the day, just like you know, eat my shorts?
Speaker 1 (06:44):
Yeah, from the Simpsons. Good we're a small team of
passionate foodies who believe real food tastes better, food grown
on farm, not in a lab. I guess you could
say we're a lot like this granola is subtly sweet,
very crunchy, and unapologetically real meat. Our Rise and Shine
mix a granola trail mix hybrid of delicious. See. I
don't like that you're saying it's a trail mix in there,
because then I'm thinking to myself, like, I don't want
(07:05):
to be eating this. Okay, before we get to it. It
as almonds, sunflower seeds, coconut dates, he or pecans, pumpkin seeds,
coconut oil, flax seats, cheese seeds, strawberries, bananas, and vanilla
extra hop. Yeah, this is not a low calorie food.
It says it right there.
Speaker 2 (07:18):
We'll say it's pretty good. But I may not have
gotten a banana yet.
Speaker 1 (07:23):
I am trying to get everything.
Speaker 2 (07:24):
But the thing is, these aren't just banana chips. I
think these are real bananas. They're just caught up the
banana chips. I don't like this actually is not bab
what a lot you know, hmm, Like there's some seed
I'm stuck in the back of right, the throat.
Speaker 1 (07:43):
If not bab Yeah, in fact, it's good, but spit
it out. I'm chewing, so let me finish my food first.
Thank you. I think this would have benefited from a
flake that has most of this condensed. So then I'm
(08:03):
just tasting the strawberry and the banana with like a
flake that has the cheese seed, the sunflower seed, all
of that in one Because there are so many textures
that it just kind of throws me off a little bit.
I'm gonna give it three bowls in a spoon.
Speaker 2 (08:16):
I would prefer this without the banana. I'm also choking
on something. There's too much going on in here.
Speaker 1 (08:21):
A lot of different things. You have seeds, you have
like dehydrated fruits, you have like full nuts. There's just
too much scale it back, make a flake out of
it and call it a day.
Speaker 2 (08:33):
It's okay. Yeah, I'm gonna give with three bowls. There's
a lot going on. I would prefer this just in
a snack ball, and I would pick the bananas out.
Speaker 1 (08:42):
Yeah, Like it is actually trail mix. This is just
we threw milk on trail mix essentially.
Speaker 2 (08:48):
Okay, but it's very choke inducing.
Speaker 1 (08:51):
Yeah, yeah, it's definitely a safety hazard. Maybe they should
check that out.
Speaker 2 (08:56):
Okay, listen, I could take a break and swallow it
with this stuff back up to this. M M yay,
I were back great, Yeah, I'm still chewing it. Yeah
mm seven Sundays? Well, what does that mean? Seven Sundays?
Is that like a Jesus thing?
Speaker 1 (09:14):
I don't think so. No, they're in Minneapolis, though, I
don't know. I don't know. I don't know what Minneapolis
would have to do with Jesus or Sundays.
Speaker 2 (09:23):
But okay, all right, well I'm okay.
Speaker 1 (09:26):
Something that's like a hold on, let me let me.
Speaker 2 (09:29):
No, No, it's fine.
Speaker 1 (09:30):
I'm going to google it. So I'm going to google it.
Speaker 2 (09:32):
Google it while I play this.
Speaker 1 (09:33):
Yes, serial Killers International?
Speaker 2 (09:37):
You want to know why we're going international?
Speaker 1 (09:39):
Are we finally eating the other cereal? I brought back from.
Speaker 2 (09:41):
Literally told you to do this weeks ago when you
pulled Stephanie in here. Yeah, and you didn't do it,
so it's probably style by.
Speaker 1 (09:47):
Now, Okay, where'd you bring.
Speaker 2 (09:50):
This back from?
Speaker 1 (09:51):
Rome?
Speaker 2 (09:52):
Cereal?
Speaker 1 (09:52):
Local? Yeah?
Speaker 2 (09:54):
You know what that means? Crazy cereal?
Speaker 1 (09:56):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (09:57):
And that bear on there is drunk see Yeah.
Speaker 1 (10:01):
Well, so okay, the thing is my cousin wanted me
to get this other cereal that he said was okay.
Hell that was chocolate. They didn't have that one, but
he said this one is like uh, like what they
would eat a lot. And it's made in Italy.
Speaker 2 (10:18):
Oh so this is Italian, Yes.
Speaker 1 (10:20):
Like an actual Italian local cereal.
Speaker 2 (10:22):
Okay, So now let me ask you a question because
my daughter actually just came back from Italy a couple
of weeks ago, and she raved about the food and said,
everything is so clean and there's nothing in like, there's
nothing in the food there. The food is all just food,
whereas here the seven thousand ingredients and they're like, okay,
so like the bread there is water, yeast, and flower.
(10:43):
I mean it's seven hundred ingredients.
Speaker 1 (10:45):
Most of Europe is that way.
Speaker 2 (10:46):
So this cereal will be cereal.
Speaker 1 (10:49):
It's gonna have a weird chocolate taste that we're not
always accustomed to, but.
Speaker 2 (10:52):
Because the coco is real.
Speaker 1 (10:54):
Yeah, wait, what's the matter? What am I doing?
Speaker 2 (10:58):
I just handed it to you. I don't want it
to fall on the floor and see what is it?
What is it?
Speaker 1 (11:01):
Like?
Speaker 2 (11:01):
Who makes it? Everything?
Speaker 1 (11:02):
It's made by its great? Oh, buy cereal Cereal Italia. Yeah,
great chocolate cereal balls. It's corn flour, sugar, rice powder,
wheat flour, low fat, cocoa powder, salt, vanilla flavoring. Ma
contain milk soy vanilla flavoring, Yeah, I don't.
Speaker 2 (11:25):
All right, So there are little balls that a little
smaller than cocoa puffs would be. They do look like
cocoa puffs, and the milk's already turning chocolate, which I love. Yeah. Oh, okay,
it's got that foreign crunch or it is it really is.
It's a distinct crunch that we don't really have here
in America. And it tastes just like any of those
(11:47):
overseas like Nestley cereals like you can get in Mexico.
It's it's this is Diamond dozen Cereal International.
Speaker 1 (11:54):
Yeah. I will say it kind of gives me more
cocoa puffs, which is shocking because.
Speaker 2 (12:03):
Very different consistency.
Speaker 1 (12:04):
Though it's wake grunchier.
Speaker 2 (12:05):
Yeah, but I like this.
Speaker 1 (12:06):
It's okay, I'm gonna give it four balls.
Speaker 2 (12:08):
Yeah, that's that's pretty nice.
Speaker 1 (12:12):
I have to say.
Speaker 2 (12:14):
I mean, it's probably better for you than most of
the cereals here, probably, but the quench that throws me
off just a little bit, and the cocoa it's just
not that sweet. But I know this is how, this
is how it's supposed to be. We're all screwed up, yah,
because with the sweetness that's coming it.
Speaker 1 (12:26):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (12:26):
Here, while this is pretty dec I'm gonna give it
three balls and a spoon.
Speaker 1 (12:30):
That's great.
Speaker 2 (12:31):
I think this is this is very close to like
the nest Quick cereal that they have in Mexico.
Speaker 1 (12:35):
Yeah, I like that. That was nice. Great, Andrew, My
throat is so itchy right now.
Speaker 2 (12:40):
It's gotta be from the trail, miss.
Speaker 1 (12:41):
I think it is. Yeah, without a doubt, it is.
Speaker 2 (12:45):
Listen. I appreciate you coming in today, Thank you so much.
Speaker 1 (12:49):
And I appreciate you for pressing record.
Speaker 2 (12:51):
Yeah, you kept your schedule. You're on time.
Speaker 1 (12:53):
Yeah, it was wonderful. This was magical.
Speaker 2 (12:55):
Let's keep it up. Yeah, we're on path of five
hundred episodes. That's crazy. Yeah, I mean we're a ways off,
but a ways off like fifty away, fifty two, three four.
We'll get there. Yeah, unless we kill each other first,
I don't think we will. Thank you for listening to
