Speaker 1 (00:18):
Hello, everyone, it's your big sister Cheeky's and you've reached
my personal voicemailbox for the Dear Cheekyes Podcast. I'm here
to give you advice on anything and everything you need
help with, whether you're going through a breakup or having
issues with your family, or maybe you have a question
about my personal life. Whatever the case is, I want
to hear from you. Remember these are my thoughts in

(00:39):
my opinions, and if you're suffering from a serious issue
or hardship, you should seek help from a qualified professional.
All right, now, go ahead and leave your message at
the sound of the.

Speaker 2 (00:49):
beeB all a cheky so Yvonne, and sorry if you
hear a lot of aboutgrying noise. I'm dry, but I
don't think get o seed get ghettoing the sad own podcasts,
but a gay Kanda get race pedal. Because I started

(01:20):
talking to myself in the car and just kind of
like going through things of how I've been feeling, of
how I've coped with my emotions ever since I was fifteen,
and how I overcame that, and it was just a
lot of dark moments and when I talked to myself
with the car, I feel so much better. My heart
feels lighter, and I just I just feel like I

(01:43):
want to touch those people's lives and help them a
little bit, because I know that people struggle with that
and I want to be the light and I want
to tell them that it's okay to be different. And
I just want some advice on how to start a podcast.
I know I am already starting to upload my account
for podcasts on the Apple podcast so I am head

(02:07):
of the right direction. If you just want to give
me a little more insight on that, and I hope
you'll get to listen to it soon.

Speaker 3 (02:14):
Thank you at the Ghetto, Yvon.

Speaker 1 (02:17):
I'm so proud of you because the fact that you
have this desire to help the community and like that
in itself is already great. You're already starting off with
the right foot. I think it's important for me personally.

(02:38):
This is why I started my podcast. I started my
podcast not to do cheese MEAs and all this stuff.
It's like, who can I interview? What can I talk
about to inspire, to bring light to the world, to
be of inspiration, to be vulnerable enough to express and
share what I've been through, and a lot of it

(02:59):
isn't pretty, and a lot of people aren't willing to
do that because maybe they're just not ready or they
might think it's shameful. I don't know, but that's why
I started my podcast, And for me, I think just
having that desire in your heart and I think it's
a wonderful idea. By the way, I think definitely talking

(03:21):
to the LGBTQ plus community is important. And I think
if you know exactly what it is that you want
to talk about, and the good thing is okay, you're
already applied, and that's the first step. I think knowing
as far as knowing what's subject you're going to talk about,
doing bullet points or what's best for you. Obviously, remember

(03:43):
you need an intro, you need an outro, and then
what are you going to talk about in the middle,
what's the meat of the episode, And making sure that
they're not too long. It's important. People have a very
short attention span nowadays. We're all busy doing all kinds
of things, so just make sure you keep it nice,
cute and sweet and straight to the point. I think
twenty five minutes thirty minutes is like the sweet spot

(04:06):
and just knowing okay, like doing your research on certain
subjects and knowing exactly what you're going to talk about
beforehand is important. I work better with bullet points, so
that's what works best for me. I don't know what
works best for you, but I think you're on the
right track. I mean, I don't know exactly if you're
asking me for advice on how to start and how
to go about it, but it looks like you're already

(04:27):
like you're doing it with Apple, which is great. But yeah,
I think it's gonna be wonderful because you already have that,
you know clear as to what you want to talk
about the subject, you have the theme of the podcast,
so that is beautiful and I think it's gonna be good.
So don't worry and don't think about it too much.
Don't think too much about it. I love talking to

(04:48):
myself in the car, by the way, so I love
that for you. I think it's like the best place
I cry. I do everything in the car, So that's awesome.
And I can't wait to hear it, baby, So congratulations
on that, and share it as soon as it's out. Okay,
just do it, Just just try it, and you'll get
better each time. Okay, okay. Our next question comes from

(05:12):
Danny Itchi.

Speaker 3 (05:13):
Geez, this is Danny G from Colorado. I love you.
I know you're coming out with a new album, and
then I just wanted to ask if you're still gonna
be singing Banda and Santos concertos. We're still gonna sing

(05:34):
with like Icananda.

Speaker 1 (05:37):
Or Mi Dani. Very good question. I think a lot
of people are a little concerned maybe or not a
lot of people because I can't wait for you guys
to listen to the entire album flor But I I'm

(05:58):
trying to figure that out. To be honest, right now,
I am going to continue to sing Mhicana regional Mexican music.
I don't know when. I don't think I'm completely one
hundred percent done with it. I'm praying about it. I
don't have a concrete answer for you right now, but
as far as these concerts and this music that I'm

(06:19):
working on right now, it will be a different band,
different instruments. I still love Northene, I still love Banda,
I love it all. It's just right now, my soul
wants to express this type of music, so in the
live shows they do have to be different. Instruments, So yeah,

(06:40):
don't worry. I do have a plan for next year
twenty six going into twenty twenty seven for music that
has to do with Musicamhikhana. But I'm still praying about it,
so just be patient, and I can't wait for you
to hear their music. Thank you Danny so much. Okay, guys.

(07:06):
The last question comes from an anonymous listener.

Speaker 4 (07:15):
For Mexico.

Speaker 1 (07:18):
For Mexico and a momento not Planet Extrano, Mocho Mexico
La see silos extrano pero villa not the ne most
to plan concrete sae called Musica masicana that.

Speaker 4 (07:54):
Pero illumine thee perroo p yo.

Speaker 1 (08:17):
Okay, you guys, don't worry. I think some people might think,
oh my gosh, Chikis is never coming back because this
music is so jane, but I will and I have
a lot of plans. I am just praying about everything,
so just be patient. Okay, But thank you guys so
much for your question, which has as I love hearing

(08:39):
from you guys, and I'm excited that you guys are
excited for my new music and still want to see
me like Chiki's Engine on stage. That makes me really happy.
So thank you man. Maybe that's like a confirmation as well,
like a sign that I was asking God. So anyway,
I will keep you guys informed, and if you have
a question that you would like to leave, could be

(08:59):
about my personal life, about your life, about finances, about love,
about best friend issues, anything and everything. I am here
to help you and give you the best advice from
the bottom of my heart. Okay, look forward to hearing
from you, and I will see you and hear you
here on the next episode of Dear Cheeky. This is
