A funeral home in Highlands, Texas is under scrutiny after
a former worker posted pictures with caskets online in a
bid for social media fame, which led to the revelation
of an X rated video in the same place. Alexander's
mortuary confirmed the images and video are real. Addressing the pictures,

(00:22):
they show the twenty one year old man posing next
to several caskets. In one photo, he is brandishing a firearm.
Staff said he admitted to taking the photos to go
viral and was fired right away.

Speaker 2 (00:33):
This is not what we do. This is not who
mister Alexander is. This is not who Alexander's mortuary is.

Speaker 1 (00:38):
Derek Anderson from the funeral home says the young man
allowed them to search his phone. He spoke to KPRC.

Speaker 2 (00:44):
He's twenty one years old, infactuated with social media, was
trying to go viral and get his likes up. Plain
and simple, he broke the rules of Alexander's mortuary. He
did not follow on a non disclosure agreement.

Speaker 1 (00:56):
Anderson said they forgive him, but he still has to
suffer the consequence. In a separate case, a woman invited
by a family to cut the deceased's hair before the
funeral also recorded a video. She was not an employee,
but she was known to them. The body was being
prepared for the service followed by cremation. As Anderson spoke
to KPRC, Melvin Alexander, owner of the funeral home for

(01:18):
forty years, stepped in.

Speaker 2 (01:20):
I am deeply hurt and said I've never had never
had any type of blimas of this sort at this
funeral home.

Speaker 1 (01:27):
The video shows addressed man and then pans to a
nude woman. The family contacted the funeral home later with
their concerns and identified the woman. Alexander says he plans
to file a police report against a woman. The Texas
Funeral Commission would not confirm or deny whether there is
any investigation ongoing. More crime and Justice news after this.
