Two members of the National Guard from West Virginia are
in critical condition following a shooting incident that officials are
describing as a targeted attack near the White House. The
shooting occurred around two fifteen pm on Wednesday, when the
assailant approached a corner by the Fairgood West Metro station

in Washington, d C. And opened fire after lifting his weapon.
According to Metropolitan Police Department Executive Assistant Chief Jeffrey Carroll.

At approximately two fifteen this afternoon, members of the DC
National Guard were on high visibility patrols in the area
of seventeenth and I Street Northwest when a suspect came
around the corner, raised his arm with the firearm, and
discharged at the National Guard members. The National Guard members
there were other members that were in the area. They
were able to, after some back and forth, able to

subdue the individual and bring him in the custody within moments.
Members of law enforcement in the area were also able
to assist and bring that individual into custody.

Other National Guard members quickly intervened, managing to subdue the
suspected shooter. Carol reported. The White House briefly went into
lockdown following the incident, but the order was lifted around
five pm. President Donald Trump and First Lady Milania Trump
were currently in Florida, where they are celebrating Thanksgiving at
his Mar Lago resort. The suspected shooter has been identified

by law enforcement as twenty nine year old Ramanula Lochenwall.
Sources close to the investigation told ABC News that lock
Andwall is originally from Afghanistan and arrived in the United
States in twenty twenty one. He applied for asylum in
twenty four and received approval in April twenty five. Several

sources have indicated to ABC News and other media outlets
that the FBI is treating the shooting as a potential
case of international terrorism, raising consumer earns about possible connections
to an international terrorist organization. The National Guard was deployed
to Washington, d C. As part of the federal initiative
launched by President Trump in August. As per the latest reports,

there are currently two thousand, one hundred and eighty eight

After this, a couple from Kentucky is facing serious allegations

horrific act of violence. Sean Durban thirty nine and Nancy Durbin,
thirty six, have been charged with murder, according to the
Hardin County jail records. Shan Durbin is also facing additional
charges for resisting arrest and third degree assault on a
police officer. The incident occurred at their residence near the

Sugar Mill Apartments in Elizabethtown, where six x t two
year old Bobby Pennington was present under unspecified circumstances. During
a confrontation between Durbans and Pennington, the couple allegedly threw
the man from their balcony, which stands about twelve feet
above the ground. As reported by the police department, Surveillance

footage captured by the station shows a metal railing surrounding
the balcony. Police officers were summoned to the scene after
receiving reports of a man in cardiac arrest. Upon arrival
at the East Memorial Drive apartment complex, officers found the
woman performing CPR on Pennington, who claimed to have witnessed
the couple throw the man over. Pennington was quickly transported

to Baptist Health Hospital, where X rays revealed he had
sustained severe injuries, including a broken neck and fractured ribs.
Initially arrested for assault the Durbans, charges were escalated after
the man died. Elizabethtown Police Department spokesperson Chris Denham expressed outrage,
saying this is appalling. It's reprehensible. All of the evidence

suggests he did not provoke the attack. How can you
merely throw your neighbor off of a balcony. Both suspects
are currently being held at the Hardin County Detention Center
and are scheduled to appear in court next month. And
now to Pennsylvania. The city of Erie police are asking
for the public to help locate a missing teenage girl

they consider to be in danger. Erie Police said sixteen
year old Evangeline Swisher was reported missing on Wednesday and
is considered at risk. She was last seen near the
nine hundred block of West twenty fifth Street around six
pm on November twenty five. Anyone with information regarding her
whereabouts is asked to contact the Erie Police at eight
