Speaker 1 (00:00):
This is Dan Patrick Takes a Gamble, a weekly gambling
podcast sort of hosted by Dan Patrick except for the
Morley ambiguous parts, which will be handled by Dylan and Shay.
Speaker 2 (00:12):
Talk to me and now here's Dan, Dylan and Shay.
Speaker 3 (00:17):
What took you guys so long to get together?
Speaker 4 (00:19):
I was here.
Speaker 3 (00:21):
I know I saw you, but you were punctual back row, Dylan,
what's the deal?
Speaker 5 (00:27):
Uh?
Speaker 2 (00:28):
Well, I was in the bathroom.
Speaker 4 (00:31):
Okay, that's see.
Speaker 2 (00:33):
What what do you mean you you're such a girl.
Speaker 4 (00:36):
What were you doing in the bathroom?
Speaker 6 (00:38):
I would say I've had like four caffeinated seltzers today
and I just said a bunch of pizza.
Speaker 2 (00:43):
Does that answer your question?
Speaker 4 (00:45):
No? Doesn't.
Speaker 5 (00:46):
Yeah, that new water machine, Dan might be a problem quickly.
I think I've had six hundred milligrams of caffeine today.
Speaker 4 (00:53):
Yeah, hell yeah, dude.
Speaker 6 (00:54):
You can add there's a feature to add caffeine to it,
or electrotes or vitamins.
Speaker 2 (00:59):
So like three months we're all gonna have kidney stones.
Speaker 4 (01:02):
What's the vita? What vitamins?
Speaker 6 (01:04):
They put it like B twelve, B five zinc, A
bunch of you know, a cocktail.
Speaker 5 (01:08):
I got my blood drawn yesterday and they said my
vitamins were off the charts because it was the first
day we had that machine. And they're like, this guy
takes really good care of himself.
Speaker 4 (01:16):
And I was like, yeah, why did you get your
blood drawn the age thing?
Speaker 5 (01:19):
No, I needed to get my medication all squared away,
and they said, I haven't done it in four years, so.
Speaker 4 (01:23):
Well, like you're hold on like like a d D
shit leans your blood for that.
Speaker 5 (01:28):
Well, no, it was his bargaining tool because I haven't
got my blood drawn in four years. And he's like,
I only see you when you want to re up
on your meds, So I'm not going to give you
your meds until you get your blood drawn.
Speaker 4 (01:38):
On blood is like I think you have cancer or
do you have AIDS.
Speaker 2 (01:41):
It's not like I take your blood for ridding. No, No,
don't get it physical.
Speaker 4 (01:46):
No they don't.
Speaker 2 (01:47):
Yeah, well they keep taking mine.
Speaker 4 (01:49):
They don't take mine. Y'all are selling that shit or
they're selling.
Speaker 2 (01:51):
Couriers will corrupt the device they're using.
Speaker 4 (01:54):
I got got great veins, My blood is strong, don't
worry about it.
Speaker 5 (01:57):
No one wants your blood anyway.
Speaker 4 (01:59):
That's not true. I have to donate blood all the time.
Speaker 2 (02:01):
There's no shot they're taking it.
Speaker 4 (02:03):
It's my moral conscious. It makes me, oh, really is
that God? Yeah, that's Jesus. He sends it to Africa
for the starving kids.
Speaker 2 (02:10):
Bag of your.
Speaker 4 (02:11):
Blood freeze dride sent over. Now they're all like strong
and angry.
Speaker 3 (02:16):
Welcome to another episode of Dan Patrick takes a gamble,
Big Day.
Speaker 5 (02:20):
Ray.
Speaker 3 (02:21):
Look at Ray won four units last week.
Speaker 4 (02:24):
He's plus thirteen ethnically charged bets. I thought they weren't.
Speaker 5 (02:28):
Allowed decades top Asian.
Speaker 2 (02:30):
Yeah, that fucked me.
Speaker 3 (02:32):
Shaye is minus fourteen and a half. He lost a
half unit last week. Dylan lost only one and a
half units. He's at minus forty seven and a half.
Speaker 6 (02:41):
Yay, hold on a clinic.
Speaker 3 (02:45):
Donald Trump won his forty third club championship. He says
it's called talent and he has it and you don't. Yep,
eighty years of age and he's still crushing it. Keep
in mind in two thousand and six he finished sixty
second at the American Century Tournament that was in Lake Taho.
Speaker 4 (03:04):
He didn't know that club, He did not own that
golf course. That's weird, weird.
Speaker 3 (03:10):
I think he only wins championships at the clubs that
he owned.
Speaker 4 (03:13):
Oohoa could have blasphed me lost soon, Danny, I'd be careful,
do you know, I'm.
Speaker 3 (03:18):
Just pointing things out. Yes, right.
Speaker 5 (03:21):
You know what his nickname is at his home course?
Speaker 4 (03:24):
What Pele?
Speaker 5 (03:25):
Because he uses his foot to kick out his balls
and get better life.
Speaker 4 (03:28):
Yeah, caddies calling. That is an underground nickname if I
ever heard one.
Speaker 2 (03:33):
I saw video.
Speaker 6 (03:34):
I don't know if it was from this most recent
amazing championship that he won, but it was the guy
his caddy essentially drove up in front of him and
then you just see a ball pop out of the
rescue right in front of the bunker, and it's like.
Speaker 3 (03:47):
Ah, it happens.
Speaker 4 (03:50):
It's an accident, it happens, playing his ass off, and
we're all just that's true. You know what, eighty years old. Yeah,
taking care of the country got him some slack leader
of the free.
Speaker 3 (03:59):
World knocking down kids in their twenties, you know, smoking them,
smoking them? Yeah, are they playing from the tips? Because
the president is not playing from the tips? I would
think a club championship you have to play from the tips.
Speaker 5 (04:14):
I believe they do, and he doesn't.
Speaker 4 (04:17):
That free leader of the world waiver you don't we
don't have it?
Speaker 2 (04:20):
You play from the ladies teas.
Speaker 6 (04:21):
What do you think he's topping out off the tee
like two hundred yards?
Speaker 4 (04:25):
If he's hitting two hundred, crown him, right, I mean
American Caesar, let's go.
Speaker 2 (04:30):
He's hitting two hundred yards.
Speaker 4 (04:32):
At eighty with that waistline. That's tough, dude.
Speaker 2 (04:36):
No, he's got a U from Mustard. He said he
weighed two fifteen, right, Yeah, yeah, he's the same.
Speaker 4 (04:40):
Who is that? Remember that pitcher Forstburg David Letterman, Harry Sam,
Terry Forester. That's like Trump with his first baseball card.
Speaker 3 (04:51):
Terry Forrester had the quote, A mind is a terrible
thing to waste, but a waste is a terrible thing
to mind.
Speaker 4 (05:01):
That man was living. Yeah, he was with the White Sox,
Lefty with the Doyers too. He was Fernando's setup man.
Web not crazy.
Speaker 3 (05:11):
They might have been. Yeah, I think he was a dieger.
The Hall of Fame game coming up on Thursday night. Now,
Ray did his research, of course, he did the overs
hit four straight Hall of Fame games. Now, prior to that,
twelve of the previous sixteen games. The under why don't
(05:32):
we get this one out of the way, Shay, who
you taking in the Hall of Fame game?
Speaker 4 (05:38):
Panthers laying one and a half, not touching the total.
Speaker 3 (05:41):
Cower Okay, totals like thirty six and a half.
Speaker 6 (05:45):
Actually, then some movement on that one dropped down to
thirty five and a half.
Speaker 5 (05:49):
Oh mercy, oh oh okay, Jeremiah Love not playing. Maybe
that did something there.
Speaker 2 (05:57):
What are you taking, Dylan, I'm taking the card else
straight up.
Speaker 6 (06:02):
The Panthers a terrible track record in the preseason, Dan,
everyone knows that, and I'm gonna I'll probably you know what,
fucking I'll take the under under thirty five and a half.
And I also have Kenny pickett first offensive.
Speaker 2 (06:15):
Drive to be a rushing touchdown.
Speaker 4 (06:17):
Rushing touchdown plus four thousand.
Speaker 6 (06:20):
Yeah, yeah, now we're we're not going to be a
passing touchdown.
Speaker 4 (06:25):
So not by Kenny.
Speaker 2 (06:26):
Nope.
Speaker 3 (06:28):
The football season is back.
Speaker 2 (06:29):
It is back.
Speaker 4 (06:31):
Have you felt like there's not enough like thunder or
momentum before this season? A little bit. I feel like
it's been muted.
Speaker 3 (06:39):
Mahome's coming back from the injury. It was Seattle winning
the Super Bowl. Nobody's talking about a repeat. Everybody talking
about the rams, little Aaron Donald sprinkled in little Russini.
Speaker 2 (06:50):
On top of that, it's been quiet on that front.
Speaker 4 (06:55):
Took a couple a lot of oxygen.
Speaker 5 (06:56):
It's all I'm saying, Shay, were you happened to be
on Pat McAfee yesterday and disguise Aaron Rodgers?
Speaker 4 (07:00):
I was not. But how about a hero's return? Holy shit,
he's starting to make me like him again.
Speaker 2 (07:06):
That plays well in the Steel City, Oh my god, it.
Speaker 4 (07:08):
Plays well everywhere. It's true, man, it's fucking weird. It's
been weird.
Speaker 5 (07:11):
Going after Fauci the Mothership, and.
Speaker 4 (07:14):
I mean the Fauci stuff was pretty amazing. The diary
like that their diary The Miracle loves me and I'm
so happy, like, get the fuck out of here. That
was embarrassing.
Speaker 3 (07:23):
But that vaccinated Yeah, I did, but I didn't write
a fucking diary about it on the company salary saying hey,
I'm the best ever? Can I do another photo shoot?
And goodness gracious, there's a lot of people on salary
and a lot of high places who do stupid things too.
Speaker 4 (07:38):
Totally agree. But if they work for the federal government,
I think I have a say to be like that
was fucking lame.
Speaker 6 (07:42):
And Shaye would never waste any time on the company.
On the government, Yeah, fucking never, Yeah, you would.
Speaker 4 (07:50):
First off, they'd never fucking hire me. No, you cannot
be security threat A yes, B. I would have gotten
fired the second I tried.
Speaker 6 (07:57):
Imagine trying trying to get security clearance, all sell government secrets.
Speaker 4 (08:01):
Fucking oh, dude, the lords of war, those those ammunition sellers.
I'd be fucking oh, I'd be running back.
Speaker 2 (08:07):
Arm steeler would be fun.
Speaker 4 (08:08):
Arm stealer would be awesome.
Speaker 2 (08:11):
We traded our best guy back to Russia.
Speaker 4 (08:12):
That pyeong Yang and a heartbeat would be my summer house.
Speaker 6 (08:17):
You know what I just realized the other day the
pyeong Chang Olympics whenever that was, was that two summer
Olympics ago three? I the entire time thought that was Pyongyang,
North Korea.
Speaker 2 (08:29):
Really they let this happen in North Korea. Found out
they're two different places. Recently, I felt.
Speaker 4 (08:35):
Pretty bestas golfer coming right up.
Speaker 5 (08:42):
So funny story about you. Guys wanted me to do
research on what qualifies you for a nationality, and all
the research I did, they just said, if you have
a gambling addiction, please contact this and so I kept
on doing research and I got the same response, says,
please contact this number.
Speaker 2 (08:59):
Here's where you can go.
Speaker 5 (09:00):
To seek help if you want to go to a facility.
It gave me the addresses. So I didn't get any
real answer on that.
Speaker 2 (09:05):
I think they're trying to tell us something.
Speaker 5 (09:06):
Yeah, it said I had a gambling problem.
Speaker 3 (09:08):
What does that have to do with your nationality?
Speaker 6 (09:10):
No, because the fact that he was looking up like
what a nationality bet for a golfer and.
Speaker 4 (09:15):
Tailor nationality.
Speaker 3 (09:18):
Yes, oh okay.
Speaker 5 (09:20):
Jay was upset that Kalin Markawell was listed as American.
Speaker 4 (09:23):
Not upset, just the fact that he's not allowed to
be an Asian golfer. That seems a little unfair to him.
Speaker 2 (09:29):
But he can't be both.
Speaker 4 (09:30):
You can't be an American. You can't be hyphenated. Sorry,
I didn't know we're living in Trump's America. I thought
we could all be who he wanted to be.
Speaker 6 (09:35):
He can't win best Asian golfer and then lose best
American golfer in a given I disagree.
Speaker 4 (09:40):
I disagree. I think you can be best Asian golfer
even though you're not a citizen of like an Asian country.
Speaker 2 (09:45):
Has very progressive of you. I am.
Speaker 4 (09:47):
That's who I am. I always have been wearing.
Speaker 6 (09:49):
Your mask, golf, wearing your pink Province town shirt and
everything good.
Speaker 4 (09:52):
I'm just an ally.
Speaker 3 (09:55):
Are the roommate and kids back home.
Speaker 4 (09:57):
Oh buddy, they are. They are back. They got back
last night. Yeah, the house is a lot louder now.
I can tell you that. Not a lot of conversations
between me and the dog anymore. It's yeah, they're back, yaya, great.
Speaker 3 (10:13):
School's getting ready right around the corner.
Speaker 4 (10:15):
I suppose, I don't know. I was supposed to get
Fife registered for kindergarten, yeah, and I failed at that.
I had like ten days to do it, and the
roommate told me this is exactly where all of her
documents are needed for the kindergarten registration. I said, okay,
you've got it. So like two nights before they came back,
I started working on it. And it's a fucking quagmire, Danny.
(10:37):
It's like a muzzle. It's impossible, like you got. I
don't know if Matt Damon from Goodwill Hunting could figure
it out.
Speaker 2 (10:43):
What about Matt Damon from Team America.
Speaker 4 (10:45):
No chance. But anyway, I don't know where Fifi's going
to kindergarten or if she is so homeschool.
Speaker 2 (10:52):
Yeah, roommate would like, you want to fuck that kid up?
Speaker 4 (10:56):
Yeah, she'd have a different outlook on life than her peers.
Speaker 3 (10:58):
I can tell you that roommate won't be able to
have her schardonnay and play tennis.
Speaker 4 (11:03):
That would be That would be bad for me more
than anyone, because if the roommate doesn't get that, how
long is that a week tennis? She plays tennis twice
a week, yeah, and drink chardonne chardonnay. I would say
maybe a couple more days a week, depending on who's listening. Now,
you know, the roommate enjoys her vino just like every
(11:25):
other soccer mom. You know, it's mommy's little helper. When
she does it, it's like we gotta send him to rehab.
But when all these moms do it, they're.
Speaker 2 (11:31):
Like, whoa one more?
Speaker 4 (11:32):
Whoa who is that a new rose?
Speaker 2 (11:34):
Yeah?
Speaker 4 (11:34):
There's fucking four bottles later, they're like, well, time to drive.
Speaker 2 (11:37):
It's not a pill. It's not a pill problem.
Speaker 4 (11:40):
If you live in granwech no, hell no, benzos, that's
fucking necessary. I have three kids.
Speaker 3 (11:46):
Has anybody ever had a moment like Tony Romo with
being pulled over by the police and being forced to
do the walk?
Speaker 2 (11:56):
No, just went to jail. You you went street to jail.
Speaker 6 (12:01):
Yes, did not passco Yeah, we talked about this, but
I went to jail for unreally a non traffic related defense.
Speaker 2 (12:06):
But no, I've never had to do the walk any
of you.
Speaker 4 (12:10):
No, No, never, never, nope, nope, ray O w.
Speaker 5 (12:15):
I never never.
Speaker 4 (12:19):
Jay You never got pulled.
Speaker 3 (12:20):
Over for duy or owy.
Speaker 4 (12:23):
No, I mean I've been pulled over. So's the town
that I'm from. In Texas, it was just, uh, you
could get away with No. I never been. No. They
would follow you home, make sure you got home all right. Yeah,
that's that's happened to me. A couple of times. You
pulled over and they're like dude, and you're like sixteen.
You're like, I'm right around the corner, and they say,
all right, I'm gonna follow you home. Go anywhere else.
Speaker 2 (12:44):
If you are going to int a dui, the pre
eighteen is the time to do it.
Speaker 4 (12:48):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (12:48):
That was when they changed advice.
Speaker 4 (12:50):
They opened the change of open container laws in Texas
used to be able to have an open container and
it was no big deal. And then they were like,
if if the bottles even cracked, you're all going to jail.
So it was a hard time. It was a hard
transition for everybody in the state.
Speaker 3 (13:01):
Yeah, but how do you let somebody have an open
container but you're gonna pull him over for drinking or
operating while under the influence. Obviously you're operating under the
influence because you have an open container in there.
Speaker 4 (13:13):
What about what about who's writing shotgun? Yeah, that guy
needs some entertainment. Radio sucks. I have a couple of
bruskies on the way to the game. Brother.
Speaker 2 (13:20):
I am surprised.
Speaker 6 (13:21):
Milwaukee is where he They seem like they would be
pretty lax on that sort of thing.
Speaker 4 (13:26):
He was bombed.
Speaker 3 (13:27):
Oh my goodness. I was bad, dude.
Speaker 4 (13:30):
I felt bad for.
Speaker 3 (13:31):
Him from the standpoint of it's on video. I don't
feel bad for him that he's driving it, you know
that impaired, But man, that video is there foreverever and
he's he thinks he's passed the test, and you know,
he's like, did I pass the test? And I think
he was just stretching.
Speaker 5 (13:52):
They turn around and he goes, guess I felt that
was that was that was tough to see for anybody.
Speaker 3 (14:03):
But if you're gonna be a knucklehead and be driving
and then say I'm gonna go see my grandma and grandpa.
Speaker 4 (14:08):
Oh my god, how many times the story changed.
Speaker 2 (14:10):
Oh, I'm coming from.
Speaker 4 (14:12):
That's bad news, bad news, Romo, it's bad Romo.
Speaker 3 (14:17):
I ended up going to a problem drinkers school because
I came home from a Reds double header where we
were trying to drink a beer an inning. Yeah, for
eighteen innings. It was one of those double headers where
it's not day night double header, it's like back to
(14:37):
back double headers. And so I wasn't driving, came home
and then somebody said, oh, there's a wedding reception up
at the American Legion. You want to go. So we
piled onto a car going down Main Street in my
hometown and we got pulled over. So I'm not driving,
(15:00):
but I'm on the back of a car and we're
going really slow, and we all had to go to
problem Drinkers School.
Speaker 4 (15:08):
I had to go to Anger Management school with something similar.
Speaker 3 (15:11):
Yeah, but I went and they gave me like I
had to take a test, and you know, you had
to show up Saturday morning. I think I had to
do it a couple of weekends. I'm going First of all,
I wasn't driving the vehicle. They said, well, you were
impaired on the back of a car. I go, nobody
tested me. You know, there was no you know, I
(15:32):
didn't get tested for duy. Can you be drunk while.
Speaker 4 (15:38):
On a car?
Speaker 3 (15:39):
Yeah, I don't. I'm not sure what it was. I mean,
it was embarrassing, and then I didn't tell my parents,
and then it and then it ended up in the
local paper.
Speaker 2 (15:46):
No, you got read it out by.
Speaker 3 (15:50):
He was, hey, that was not a good day. Not
a good day, because you know, he got embarrassed that. Uh,
And I said I didn't know instead of now, it's
not a good answer. When you said, say I didn't
know it was going to make it in the paper,
it's I should have told you just in case it
(16:13):
got it into the newspaper. But I'm thinking, all right,
this is you know, I'll just go out on a
Saturday Saturday morning for a couple hours and we'll be
good with this. I didn't know that there was going
to be the everybody who got arrested, and uh, I
was right.
Speaker 2 (16:28):
There was this a sedan, Like, were you guys just
like on top of Yeah?
Speaker 4 (16:33):
Yeah, you remember what kind of car was? I do not.
Speaker 3 (16:36):
I know that. We we drove back from the Cincinnati
Reds games in a oh amc oh yeah.
Speaker 4 (16:44):
Gremlin?
Speaker 3 (16:46):
Gremlin? Yeah yeah, I think gremlin. Wait, what's the one
that was kind of like an upside down bathtub?
Speaker 4 (16:53):
Gremlin was like the hatchback looking weird thing.
Speaker 3 (16:55):
No, it wasn't that. Then it was there was a
hornet Gremlin.
Speaker 5 (17:03):
The Gremlin kind of looks like an upside down bath ub.
It's pretty sweet car.
Speaker 4 (17:07):
No it's not. I like it.
Speaker 5 (17:08):
I've see an orange one right now.
Speaker 2 (17:10):
Looks pretty cool.
Speaker 4 (17:11):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (17:11):
No, okay, let's recap. Shay, you should not bet on
golf ever. I should never bet on golf again. I'm
an American. I love baseball. You got all your baseball right, Ray? Okay,
got a couple in there, anything.
Speaker 5 (17:30):
You're proud of a DECI top Asian golfer six under
on Sunday came storming back Xander top ten. That was
a big one. Ryan Gerard, we worked in there. Also.
I have a bone to pick with everyone. I bet
on aldrich Port or whatever, and you guys Hotkeeter.
Speaker 4 (17:48):
That was the one pick that.
Speaker 5 (17:50):
I didn't give any context to because you guys said
there were too many words, and he shot eight over
on Thursday and finishing dead last. Now I'm convinced that
you guys screwed me because I didn't get to do
my research and explain it to you guys.
Speaker 2 (18:02):
You're winning.
Speaker 3 (18:03):
Shut up, Dylan not good in golf. You got a
baseball and it's.
Speaker 6 (18:10):
I got yeah or yeah, fading my fading the aces.
Dan is now one in one because I was Schoobol's
last game and they fucking blew.
Speaker 4 (18:17):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (18:17):
Yeah, man, you're you're on to it. Bracked the code,
figured it out. Something of a sharp better you have
figured it out. She already gave you his Hall of
Fame game. But I see you're betting against Paul's skiings today.
Speaker 4 (18:33):
Well little baseball Cleveland Guardians plus one ten, Marlin's plus
one sixteen, and Milwaukee Land of the Good People laying
one forty against the buckets. Yeah, and that's Paul Skeens.
I think there's going to be some hits. What's with
the delivery. I'm just trying to be emphat because it's
(18:56):
the only thing I'm fucking good at I got golf next.
It doesn't matter. But yeah, I think Milwaukee is going
to take it to town.
Speaker 2 (19:02):
I'm gonna ride that too, because that will hold on.
Speaker 3 (19:06):
I'm still doing shait okay, like, why didn't you wait
your turn? Oh yeah, there's enough shad Okay, we.
Speaker 6 (19:13):
Know there's enough shade to go here we go.
Speaker 3 (19:16):
No, not that much anymore. You've lost a lot of.
Speaker 4 (19:19):
Weight, depression, anxiety, cocaine.
Speaker 3 (19:22):
No, no cocaine.
Speaker 4 (19:25):
You imagine if I was doing cocain, I think the
show might be I might be able to get a
waiver from the roommate cocaine. What if? What if? Just
hear me out, hear me out, hear me out. What
if for the next ninety days, I did an eight
ball every other day, not apole day because that's rude.
Every other day and the show what if rating spike?
(19:49):
I guess we'll have to allow it.
Speaker 5 (19:51):
Bank account probably crashes during football season some late nights.
Speaker 6 (19:54):
Some chasing eight ball every other day, combined with losing
every fucking bet is going.
Speaker 4 (19:59):
To get I would make money when I get into
like serious addiction. I make money on the addiction because
it makes no sense for me to be poor because
of the addiction. The addiction is way more fun when
you have money. If you're broke, maybe you do an
eight ball every Wednesday when we do the show. Okay,
all right, before the show, Yeah, we get to I
(20:21):
got to bring this to the roommate. But I think
we're onto something I do.
Speaker 3 (20:25):
But I think we're doing the gambling podcast on Thursdays
during football season. I believe that's what.
Speaker 4 (20:30):
So I could start Wednesday, stay up all night and
come in here rocking and rolling. Ye, yes, gone.
Speaker 3 (20:36):
You imagine the first time we would do cocaine, what
it would do to you, how you'd feel like a god. Yeah,
but it's been a few years.
Speaker 2 (20:44):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (20:44):
I remember the first time I did cocaine. I was
a kid. I remember doing it and it really hitting
to me, saying I was a kid. Wow, the world
would be so much better if everybody was on this.
Speaker 2 (20:56):
It would be so bad. I know.
Speaker 4 (20:58):
But like I said, the first time do it, you're like,
this is euphourick. Let's go get it.
Speaker 2 (21:02):
It's still glorif.
Speaker 4 (21:03):
Oh, it's still beautiful.
Speaker 3 (21:05):
Uh. The windom you have Jackson Coyven to win. He
owes me fucking big. But yes, all right, do you
have any other bets?
Speaker 4 (21:14):
Yeah, top twenty j T Post plus two fifteen, Jackson
Covin laying one O five. I don't care. And then
my favorite Asian golfer, second favorite, actually we know Collins,
my guy Ryo hiss Atune.
Speaker 2 (21:30):
I think it's Heatsuni.
Speaker 4 (21:32):
It's Hesatune Rio Tune.
Speaker 3 (21:36):
Uh. Let me get to Dylan since he apparently wanted
to jump the gun here even though Ray is the
leader in the clubhouse, go ahead.
Speaker 2 (21:43):
I was only doing that so I didn't forget.
Speaker 3 (21:48):
Didn't you write stuff down?
Speaker 2 (21:50):
No?
Speaker 6 (21:50):
No, but I didn't originally have that. I saw that
Shay had it, and I liked it, So I'm gonna
ride it with Shay.
Speaker 3 (21:55):
Okay, but you could have written that down and then I,
I mean, it's not that difficult.
Speaker 6 (21:59):
I do have a pen okay, Hall of Fame game,
Cardinals money line minus one oh five. I'm also taking
the under thirty five and a half in the game.
And can you pickt to rush for a touchdown on
his first offensive drive plus four thousand?
Speaker 2 (22:15):
You guys are probably gonna want to hop.
Speaker 4 (22:16):
On wait, so he has to rush in the touchdown? Yeah,
it's got to be him. Yeah, not just any rushing
touchdown now on the first drive, got to be him
on the first drive, and that's plus four thousand correct.
Speaker 3 (22:25):
Oh okay, he has never had a rushing touchdown.
Speaker 6 (22:31):
He's he's you know what I was gonna say, No,
I would double up on that bed here yet he
hasn't had one yet. That's the perfect time, fucking golf,
Windham Championship whatever.
Speaker 2 (22:42):
So JM to win plus forty seven hundred. I'm just
gonna do it.
Speaker 4 (22:46):
I love it.
Speaker 6 (22:47):
And then brooks Sonjay Actually he was in the mix
a little bit last weekend and then kind.
Speaker 4 (22:52):
Of fell off.
Speaker 6 (22:53):
Brooks kept cut top five plus eight fifty. He needs
a top four finish to qualify for the FedEx Cup playoffs,
so he's playing for something a little extra this week.
Speaker 3 (23:05):
Alrighty Ray the only one who does research around here.
Speaker 5 (23:08):
All right, Dan Hall of Fame game taking Panthers money
line minus one fifteen. I like Kenny Pickett way more
than I like Carson Beck. Carson Beck didn't deserve to
be in the National title last year. It was offensive
line in defense. And then the Panthers have Haines king
Old quarterback from Georgia, tech. I feel like in these games,
a lot of plays breakdown, So I want a guy
(23:29):
who can run. He had just under a thousand yards
rushing last season. And then adding on top of that,
the Cardinals backup to Carson beck Is Keiden Slovis, who
was awful his last three years in college eleven touchdowns,
eight picks, ten touchdowns, nine picks, twelve touchdowns, six picks.
And then I'm getting into the nitty gritty of things
(23:49):
a little bit. Panthers have a better kicker, Ryan Fitzgerald.
He hit eighty three percent of his field goals last year,
and the Cardinals kicker he hit seventy six percent.
Speaker 4 (23:57):
Oh, there you go.
Speaker 5 (23:58):
So these are the only starters that probably gonna be playing.
And if it's gonna be a close game, which the
spread kind of says it might be, I'll take the
guy who hits what that nine percentage points more? So
I like that sure, So I'm gonna go with that
one there.
Speaker 3 (24:13):
Oh but it's seven percent. But it's okay.
Speaker 5 (24:17):
I didn't even know what you're What are you reading
for eighty three and seventy six? I want to seven seven?
All right? I said nine?
Speaker 4 (24:25):
Tough for a numbers guy Ray.
Speaker 6 (24:26):
Oh, actually I have a stat, Dan can I chime
into a stat even though Ray's doing.
Speaker 4 (24:30):
His thing, he just interrupted, So go ahead, okay.
Speaker 6 (24:34):
In the preseason, the Panthers are under Canalis, are zero
to six against the spread and their own five against
the spread as favorites in the preseason the last three years,
Ray suck it.
Speaker 5 (24:43):
Okay. Kenny Pickett's never rushed for a touchdown once in
his career, and you're betting on him on the first drive.
Speaker 2 (24:47):
He's due.
Speaker 5 (24:48):
Okay, fair enough. Then we're going to the Window Championship.
So I did this last week. It worked out to
par seventy, has two par fives. It's more about accuracy
as opposed to distance. This week narrow tree line fairways
and greens that require precise approach shots. So based on that,
I'm doing Ben Griffin top twenty. He has four top
ten finishes since late April, and he's historically played really
(25:11):
well here, three top ten finishes in four tries. And
then I'm doing Eric Cole top forty. This has one
of the highest three putt percentages on tour, and he's
eighth and strokes game putting and second and three put avoidance.
So plus one, twenty five, top forty. What's your problem showing.
Speaker 3 (25:29):
You put you guys to shame? Okay, he does, He's
a nerd, Dan Dany.
Speaker 4 (25:35):
Football season comes around, and I think I think it's
gonna be much better for me. If I didn't bet
golf all year, I would be doing great.
Speaker 2 (25:44):
It is fun, though.
Speaker 5 (25:45):
Are we gonna do our parlay again? That was zero
in eleven last year?
Speaker 4 (25:49):
Them, No, we didn't. Hear shit. Now yeah, yeah, I'm down.
Speaker 3 (25:52):
I'm not forcing you to bet golf.
Speaker 4 (25:54):
We have to.
Speaker 2 (25:54):
No, no one's forcing us, Dan, We're.
Speaker 4 (25:56):
Just I have to bet golf. I have to.
Speaker 3 (25:59):
But I'm just saying that Ray big day. Ray is
betting golf and doing well.
Speaker 6 (26:03):
You guys are, Okay, how about this, I'm gonna take
Hideki Matsi. I'm a top seventy. Oh sorry, I'm putting
my balls on the table. I'm waiting for some jam
to win this articular forty enough.
Speaker 5 (26:16):
We actually almost hit one parlay last year for the
football one. But Shay bet Chicka Konko first touchdown score
and he didn't have a single target all game.
Speaker 4 (26:24):
And he fucking scored. No, he didn't. He won Tennessee Titans.
You're full of shit, Tennessee Titans. He scored a touchdown
that fucking week. Look it up, suck up by Dick.
Speaker 2 (26:32):
It works, it played, But all the other ones he
did were dumb.
Speaker 4 (26:35):
Yeah, no shit at that one hit and it was
like plus fucking five fifty and we missed out. It
was like Larry was laying one thirty second.
Speaker 5 (26:42):
N Yeah, yeah, yeah, I have one morning else Ray
Hedekie Matcia. I'm a top twenty plus one forty. He's
on a roll four straight top twenties. This is about
longer approach shots, and he's tenth on tour and approach
shots over one hundred yards, and he has an elite
short game, so he should be avoiding. Yeah, he's unbelievable.
His short ging is unbelievable, so he should be avoiding
(27:03):
positions where he would put himself into three putts. So
even if he misses the green, he should put it
close up and down. I like a decade top twenty
plus one forty.
Speaker 4 (27:12):
That's the stats speak for themselves. The stats are right there.
Speaker 6 (27:15):
I'm going to add another bet though, Dan top Asian
sun JM plus five hundred bucket.
Speaker 2 (27:24):
I bet it also and I have a top Asian.
What's what are the option heats that soon?
Speaker 4 (27:29):
No? No, no, no, what's calling?
Speaker 2 (27:32):
He's not here.
Speaker 4 (27:34):
I don't want nothing to do.
Speaker 6 (27:35):
You can do a little Howtong Lee action plus eighteen hundred.
Speaker 4 (27:39):
No, I'm good, I'm off now he's Chinese. Yeah, whoa Dan?
Speaker 2 (27:42):
Come on?
Speaker 3 (27:44):
What I'm just saying? Where he's going.
Speaker 4 (27:47):
Unbelievable.
Speaker 2 (27:50):
He's great, He's fun to watch.
Speaker 3 (27:52):
Yeah, he's had his moments.
Speaker 2 (27:53):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (27:54):
He competed for a major last year.
Speaker 4 (27:56):
I think, didn't he?
Speaker 5 (27:57):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (27:58):
And he uh.
Speaker 6 (27:59):
The last open that was at Royal Birkdale was at
twenty seventeen before this past one, he came in second
or third.
Speaker 2 (28:07):
I think he shot like seven un Durham someday.
Speaker 3 (28:11):
I think that's it. We've done. We've done everything that
we could possibly do and then some any parting words
Shae and Irving podcast, I don't I don't know if.
Speaker 4 (28:21):
I don't know what happened, Danny. It's been a life
has been a shell of meeting for the last couple
of months. So I've been trying to find time and
doing sucks.
Speaker 2 (28:30):
Yeah I did. It's fair, but we're gonna get back.
Speaker 3 (28:32):
We should. Yeah, I'm down. Let's get weird. But you
you went on vacation.
Speaker 4 (28:38):
I was gone for three weeks, correct, and then yeah,
I just.
Speaker 2 (28:42):
Threw off my rhythm.
Speaker 4 (28:43):
I've been catching up with all kinds of bullshits. It
sucked ass being one that long with those people. It's
just hard.
Speaker 3 (28:50):
What's your family?
Speaker 4 (28:51):
No, not man, those are the Europeans.
Speaker 2 (28:54):
I mean, oh, it's a whole.
Speaker 4 (28:56):
Different way of looking at everything and talking, and it's just.
Speaker 2 (29:00):
I'm just great. Oh to go to Italy and France
and Italy it was terrible.
Speaker 4 (29:06):
It was everybody smokes. Oh dude, I was banging heaters everywhere.
Speaker 2 (29:10):
The food's awesome, smokes all day.
Speaker 4 (29:14):
One of our kids, are you smoking? I was like, oh,
she woke up.
Speaker 6 (29:18):
What do you mean like Barbes hasn't been sniped, right,
it's fucking on team.
Speaker 4 (29:22):
Yeah, I'm having an espresso and a cigarette. Welcome to France, baby,
French breakfast.
Speaker 3 (29:27):
Fuck, you're not allowed. You're not to smoke around the kids. No,
hell no, no, no, no, the roommate is. And I'm
opposed to that too. I don't want to just be
banging like I was growing up. I saw everybody smoking,
but not like I don't know. I don't It feels
weird to bang a heater in front of your daughter.
She would kill the vibe anyway, all.
Speaker 2 (29:42):
Three of them.
Speaker 4 (29:44):
Fee's probably the only one that can handle.
Speaker 3 (29:45):
It, the youngest.
Speaker 4 (29:47):
Yeah, she'd get it like, yeah, daddy had a hard day.
Hell yeah, good daddy and died. Cocaine a cigarette, a
fridge Yeah, di cocaine, that's breakfast, Danny, is it? Dak
cocon a cigarette?
Speaker 2 (29:58):
Yeah, Coke a fridge stick.
Speaker 4 (30:01):
That's what they say. Fridz Stig. Yeah, I bang a
diet coke and a cigarette for the first twenty minutes.
I'm awake.
Speaker 5 (30:06):
Ye. If you cut a Shay's garage, there's just a
launcher out there and a million empty bottles of coke.
Speaker 4 (30:11):
True.
Speaker 5 (30:12):
All the cigarette butts are in the diet cokes.
Speaker 4 (30:14):
It's true.
Speaker 6 (30:15):
If you want to spot a lunatic, just see if
they just are ripping die coke.
Speaker 4 (30:19):
Yeah. You want to spot a thinking man, just see
him in a lawn chair, banging heaters, drinking a diet coke.
Like that man's got ship on his mind.
Speaker 6 (30:25):
My dad was a was a twenty four pack of
diet coke. A good day guy for a while. And
then I think he chilled out.
Speaker 4 (30:33):
Apparently it makes you stupid.
Speaker 2 (30:35):
Yeah, clearly diet coke does.
Speaker 4 (30:38):
Yeah, like it makes you forgetful and shit and all
the can stuff they lie to you about. None of thatss.
Speaker 3 (30:45):
Well, get all my medical information from doctor Founci.
Speaker 2 (30:49):
You should get it from RFK does doctor Oz.
Speaker 4 (30:52):
That's what you get it from. Welcome to the regime, Daddy,
RFK Jr. That's what I did.
Speaker 2 (30:58):
I killed an owl and then I left it in
my neighbor's yard.
Speaker 4 (31:02):
What a freak that'll be.
Speaker 3 (31:05):
That'll be it. We've done. We've done everything we're required
to do federally mandated. So uh for big day Ray research. Ray.
I think I like that research Ray, Uh Ray and

Patrick takes a gamble and we will talk to you
