a frat? Was it the brotherhood? Was of the partying girls?

I would say just really the brotherhood environment.

First day on campus, you see all the guys out
in their front yards hanging out with each other, having
a good time, and that's kind of an environment that
you want to be a part of. If you see that,
you want to join that, And I think that's what

I also feel like all the guys are all pretty similar.

When I came to school first time, I was like, Oh,
these guys are all the most similar to me.

A yeah, I definitely say the brotherhood. I mean, there
are a lot of opportunities and join the fraternity, a
lot of people to meet that are interested in different things,
and it's just a great environment to meet people and
get yourself out there and support others, to be supported
by others.

So girls was never a factor.

Definitely a fact. I've seen what you guys do. Have
parts were a part of this.

Another question, do you care if girls slept with another

I would love to speak on this. I we face
this problem multiple times. I think you just gotta get
over it. It just matters how long it lasted who
especially so sure the taller the worst. I found. Yeah,
good guys, they all around love them.

Yeah, I feel like it's hard because especially going to
like small school, it's like a lot of people have
gone with each other, so you kind of just gotta
hope that she's gone with one of your boys. Is
kind of a stud because then that means that she
like she's she's kind of better. I mean, if she
got with one of my boys, it kind of sucks
and I that's true.

think at this age all every girl has a pass,

be in that lower sorority. So I think just speak
like because of the fact that she's in if she
was like hot, an inequal person, she's in a lower.

Sorority, I would totally date her. But that just doesn't happen. Yeah,
it doesn't happen. It just doesn't do.

I've had some experiences with formal formal to date leaven
night or so when looking for formal dates, I look
on the longevity I'm living, if they're gonna go, if
they're gonna make it the two nights last the weekend.
It was true love, but you know there was flights

on them that work. So I'm looking for a girl
that's loyal, who wants to I'm open. I don't know
who was on this podcast, mainly models I'd bring, but

What kind of qualities do you look for in a
formal day?

A formal day, Like you want someone who's gonna have
a fun time. Yeah, but if a girl's not gonna
stay out with you and your boy, then just gonna
like make you go back, or like kind of try
and control you, like it is a fraternity formally you're
kind of taking like.
Speaker 4 (05:43):
A friend, but also like obviously you wanted to be hot. Yeah,
I mean I'd say you for formal or like a
date event, just someone because you're gonna be spending majority
of the time with them. Someone you're gonna have a
good time with and like, just I don't know someone
who's awesome able to be around your boys too at
the same time for sure.

Okay, another question, do you guys get bummed when your
fraternity brother gets wiped up or I guess in a relationship?
Speaker 10 (06:08):
Yeah, definitely, Like this is a recent sore spot. Like
one of my guys isn't even dating a girl yet
and he's just so whipped. Like we went on spring
break and he just like completely lost the plot and
it was for the entire time and he was the worst.
Really bummed me out.
Speaker 9 (06:23):
I definitely that shit, but in our house at least,
like most guys have girlfriends, and it definitely changes the.
Speaker 4 (06:30):
Vibe of things.
Speaker 9 (06:31):
It's like guys don't hang out like at night, leaving
parties early, leaving bars early to go to bed. Definitely
does isn't conducive to like a good brotherhood environment.

But to reach their own Yeah, I feel like you
need a couple of those guys in relationships though, to
kind of even out the crowd, you know, calm the
boys down a little bit, because if no one has girlfriends,
then everything's going to hell pretty quick.

Like I feel like it's good to have some boys.

Yeah, like happy influences a little bit, you know, have
some girls.
Speaker 4 (07:05):
That's good. Take god. Yeah, no, I agree with that
because you also kind of the dynamic of the dudes.
You kind of get no girls, they don't have girlfriends,
and then like you got the dudes with girlfriends and ship.
So like I think it alsops pure mature and I'm
always happy to see my boys, you know, get in
the good loving relationships.

So yeah, I would say it's always good seeing seeing
the boys doing well for themselves. I think if the
girl's good for the guy, they and the guy doesn't
overdo it. I would say, like some of our friends
overdo it, hang out with their girls a little bit
too much. I'd say if they have that happy balance
and it's good for everyone.

Living in the house with the kids talking with girlfriends,
it is not good at all, Like what we live
with nine guys, Well, I guess i'd say like pretty
much their team. Yeah, saying like there's what three of
us that don't have girlfriends. It changes in a lot.

That's not normal though, Like yeah, yeah, it does seem
the vibe that the only people actually care, the people
who don't have girlfriends still.

Yeah, what has been your favorite party theme you've had
and why?
Speaker 4 (08:26):
What? I don't know.

Kentucky Derby, Kentucky Derby is super fun, Kentucky Derby is good.
Speaker 4 (08:31):
I liked Mayhem. Mayham was fun, but like the Christmas parties.
Speaker 12 (08:35):
Always like Mayhem is kind of like we try to
do like every theme in one almost and like a
lot of time we have, like whether it's a pledge classes,
their sororities have like a certain theme themselves, so everyone's
showing up.
Speaker 4 (08:47):
In a different theme. I guess it's kind of like Mayhem. Yeah,
and then the decorations reflect that as well.
Speaker 3 (08:52):
It's all like Neon, like random ship everywhere, like fully
black charped off everything, kind of like Neon ray Bob
with a bunch of crazy right now things.
Speaker 4 (09:01):
It's kind of everything we have sitting in our garage,
just like we'll put it up. Yeah.
Speaker 5 (09:08):
What has been your worst date party story?
Speaker 6 (09:11):
Yeah?
Speaker 4 (09:11):
I guess it's not really a day party. One time
I just met this girl like we were kicking have
a good time, and we go back to her room
and then suddenly she just like fell backwards and I
was like, oh, like going in a check on her
and I asked she was laying on the floor. She's
like threw up it her bell and I was like, okay,
so I leave to go start like helping her out.
(09:34):
I come back and apparently she had just like all
over full and like I was throwing up.
Speaker 6 (09:42):
Well.

I kind of left the situation probably after it and
her friends came in. But yeah, definitely a first for me.
Speaker 9 (09:52):
Freshman year, I was set up on a formal day
to a sority formal with the girl I never met girl.
Speaker 4 (09:59):
I had no who she was.
Speaker 9 (10:01):
And the way it works here is like the stories
have like big buses, like fun party buses that will
take you to the venue. And this venue was about
an hour away for some reason. And I got put
on the last bus that was me, my date, and
then two.
Speaker 4 (10:17):
Other couples, so there's only six of us.
Speaker 9 (10:20):
The buses are huge, exactly, the buses are huge, and
we were on a tiny one that was.
Speaker 4 (10:24):
Just the six of us. I didn't know anybody could
be fun and it wasn't fun.
Speaker 9 (10:29):
And then where was the in San Francisco formal the
venues in San Francisco And then we show up and
I was like, I don't know. I think I was
like not paying any attention to this girl, and I
kept fund like passer op to all my friends like oh,
have you met so and so? Have you met some
you know? And it just didn't go very well. And
then like a couple of weeks later, I'm hearing things
(10:51):
that she was saying like that I was like getting
with other girls at the formal or something like that,
which I wasn't, So she was just lying. I don't
know if she was lying or she misheard something or whatever.
But then and then I had to go back and
I had to go to the person like set me
up with this girl and be like hey, like that
was awful, Like why would you need that to me?
Speaker 4 (11:12):
That's a horrible date. Yeah, thank god that story is over.
That wasn't good.
Speaker 8 (11:18):
I'll tell a story. Heard two friends go to random dates,
all anonymous, go down. Maybe it was the same date
event in San Francisco's and so they took buses there.
They may have been party buses. I think there were
more spread out buses.
Speaker 5 (11:34):
So it's two guys, you know, and then two girls,
two brands, bring two of our friends and the young
on the bus have a few too many drinks and
they see one of the guys sees their other date
stand up and pee on the bus and get proceeded
to get kicked off the bus and the other one follows,
(11:56):
and the two were stuck in usuff and couldn't get
into the event because their dates. There's no good freshman stories.
You guys have the best. What about like your about
the fall? There was definitely something I grow over.
Speaker 6 (12:14):
It really drownk but as a freshman, and keep calling
me the wrong name out of Russian event that I
brought up to pretty demoralizing. I was just probably wouldn't
have let her have the whole bottle of wine though,
But that was fun.
Speaker 2 (12:26):
Those are great stories. What goes down in the fraternity
group chat? Anyone want to share anything, You don't have
to go too far.
Speaker 4 (12:33):
So it depends on the president probably like it depends
on the alter.
Speaker 3 (12:37):
I don't know.

It always shanges.

It depends on a leader for sure.

Our freshman year it was pretty gnarly.

I felt like there was always kids getting in trouble
for like saying whatever. But it was pretty free for
a right when the newest piece got added, it was
pretty free and like oping to say kind of.

Whatever we want to. I mean, we do have some rules,
some like pretty strict rules.

And that yeah no slur, yeah that obviously, and then
you can't like no name dropping girls things like that.

Yeah, I would say, like the better like gossip wherever
you want to say is in like our smaller fraternity chats,
like our chat with you guys, like our freshman in
junior chat, or like our freshman and sophomore chat that
always has a little bit more jokes on or somebody's
always getting dogged on one of those chats, compared to
like our bigger full fraternity chats a little bit more
like for important stuff.
Speaker 4 (13:28):
Yeah, like the things like strictly business.
Speaker 10 (13:31):
I'd be like, nobody really is talking in that unless
they have, like the conversation won't start unless it's like
business oriented. And then like in the smaller chats, it's
always some bullshit going on, like one of our buddies
and the stupid pictures with his girlfriend.
Speaker 3 (13:44):
Yeah yeah, or like there's something that would be said
in the full fraterournity it's like did we have a
private story that's just a fraternity Oh yeah, yeah, that's.
Speaker 5 (13:53):
Kind of good stuff on snapchat.
Speaker 4 (13:55):
Yeah, yeah. Yeah.

I think also when people drink, when we have all
the night out, like it gets very active when people
are drunk.

Maybe people try to fight.

Other guys or like I don't know, try to get
more just rowby, try to get ready.

Yeah, another question, did you guys try to seem cooler
during frat rush?

For sure by doing well? How'd you act actual any different? Like? Well,
I don't know in what ways did you try to?

Like you think I acted different? I think I probably
not like a yes man. You know.
Speaker 9 (14:29):
It's like if they if they like something, I like
that too, you know what I mean? Like you like soccer.
I've never watched off in my life. I love soccer,
you know what I mean. Like I'm really getting into soccers,
you know what I mean? Or just like he's just
playing out my character.

Yeah, you know, I think you like censor like some
of the things that you don't go with like your
first instinct on things you like, you try to make
yourself more appealing, like Cole said, whereas like you were trying,
like when you're trying to make somebody like you, you
appeal to what they like.

Yeah, there's people that lie that were saying like I'm
a photographer, I'm a DJ.

We have hobbies that they will never do.

That stuff that's just bound to happen, though, like dudes
who at of seem like completely lie about who they are.

But I would say, like there's definitely a big difference
between like how girls act in rushing out guys acting rushed.
I'd say it's a lot more likely for girls to
like put on a complete like facade and act completely
different than yeah they are.

Through that a little bit easier, I guess, or like
they can see like your true character, I feel like
through all the things that you say, So it's a
little bit harder to put on that front. But I
think definitely, like like Luke was saying, putting on that

I think that comes from the stereotype of girls being
better at being fake.

Yeah, our rush is also so different. It's like months long,
and like you're hanging out with guys every day and
you really get to know a guy. It's not just like,
you know, three days where you're even have ten to
fifteen minute conversations.

Yeah, can you guys share your worst hazing story without
getting in trouble.

No, probably no, probably not Okay.

If you were to much, would you have to get
paid to do hazing again or pledging again?

Yeah, we don't hate Yeah, i'd say have a pledge
process with it. I don't know, maybe like two thousand
and three thousand dollars. Yeah, I mean I wish I
could do plagues again because you know here we don't
hate it all. It was a great experience game with
the brothers and it was just a great time in
my life, you.

Know, being close to people and it's a lot of learning.

i'd probably say like ten bucks in a chop.

date event, just someone because you're gonna be spending majority
of the time with them. Someone you're gonna have a
good time with and like, just I don't know someone
who's awesome able to be around your boys too at
the same time for sure.
Speaker 2 (06:00):
Okay, another question, do you guys get bummed when your
fraternity brother gets wiped up or I guess in a relationship?
Speaker 10 (06:08):
Yeah, definitely, Like this is a recent sore spot. Like
one of my guys isn't even dating a girl yet
and he's just so whipped. Like we went on spring
break and he just like completely lost the plot and
it was for the entire time and he was the worst.
Really bummed me out.
Speaker 9 (06:23):
I definitely that shit, but in our house at least,
like most guys have girlfriends, and it definitely changes the.
Speaker 4 (06:30):
Vibe of things.
Speaker 9 (06:31):
It's like guys don't hang out like at night, leaving
parties early, leaving bars early to go to bed. Definitely
does isn't conducive to like a good brotherhood environment.
Speaker 11 (06:45):
But to reach their own Yeah, I feel like you
need a couple of those guys in relationships though, to
kind of even out the crowd, you know, calm the
boys down a little bit, because if no one has girlfriends,
then everything's going to hell pretty quick.
Speaker 4 (06:58):
Like I feel like it's good to have some boys.
Speaker 6 (07:00):
Yeah, like happy influences a little bit, you know, have
some girls.
Speaker 4 (07:05):
That's good. Take god. Yeah, no, I agree with that
because you also kind of the dynamic of the dudes.
You kind of get no girls, they don't have girlfriends,
and then like you got the dudes with girlfriends and ship.
So like I think it alsops pure mature and I'm
always happy to see my boys, you know, get in
the good loving relationships.
Speaker 7 (07:21):
So yeah, I would say it's always good seeing seeing
the boys doing well for themselves. I think if the
girl's good for the guy, they and the guy doesn't
overdo it. I would say, like some of our friends
overdo it, hang out with their girls a little bit
too much. I'd say if they have that happy balance
and it's good for everyone.
Speaker 8 (07:37):
Living in the house with the kids talking with girlfriends,
it is not good at all, Like what we live
with nine guys, Well, I guess i'd say like pretty
much their team. Yeah, saying like there's what three of
us that don't have girlfriends. It changes in a lot.
Speaker 3 (07:55):
That's not normal though, Like yeah, yeah, it does seem
the vibe that the only people actually care, the people
who don't have girlfriends still.
Speaker 4 (08:02):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (08:07):
Yeah, what has been your favorite party theme you've had
and why?
Speaker 4 (08:26):
What? I don't know.
Speaker 9 (08:28):
Kentucky Derby, Kentucky Derby is super fun, Kentucky Derby is good.
Speaker 4 (08:31):
I liked Mayhem. Mayham was fun, but like the Christmas parties.
Speaker 12 (08:35):
Always like Mayhem is kind of like we try to
do like every theme in one almost and like a
lot of time we have, like whether it's a pledge classes,
their sororities have like a certain theme themselves, so everyone's
showing up.
Speaker 4 (08:47):
In a different theme. I guess it's kind of like Mayhem. Yeah,
and then the decorations reflect that as well.
Speaker 3 (08:52):
It's all like Neon, like random ship everywhere, like fully
black charped off everything, kind of like Neon ray Bob
with a bunch of crazy right now things.
Speaker 4 (09:01):
It's kind of everything we have sitting in our garage,
just like we'll put it up. Yeah.
Speaker 5 (09:08):
What has been your worst date party story?
Speaker 6 (09:11):
Yeah?
Speaker 4 (09:11):
I guess it's not really a day party. One time
I just met this girl like we were kicking have
a good time, and we go back to her room
and then suddenly she just like fell backwards and I
was like, oh, like going in a check on her
and I asked she was laying on the floor. She's
like threw up it her bell and I was like, okay,
so I leave to go start like helping her out.
(09:34):
I come back and apparently she had just like all
over full and like I was throwing up.
Speaker 6 (09:42):
Well.
Speaker 4 (09:42):
I kind of left the situation probably after it and
her friends came in. But yeah, definitely a first for me.
Speaker 9 (09:52):
Freshman year, I was set up on a formal day
to a sority formal with the girl I never met girl.
Speaker 4 (09:59):
I had no who she was.
Speaker 9 (10:01):
And the way it works here is like the stories
have like big buses, like fun party buses that will
take you to the venue. And this venue was about
an hour away for some reason. And I got put
on the last bus that was me, my date, and
then two.
Speaker 4 (10:17):
Other couples, so there's only six of us.
Speaker 9 (10:20):
The buses are huge, exactly, the buses are huge, and
we were on a tiny one that was.
Speaker 4 (10:24):
Just the six of us. I didn't know anybody could
be fun and it wasn't fun.
Speaker 9 (10:29):
And then where was the in San Francisco formal the
venues in San Francisco And then we show up and
I was like, I don't know. I think I was
like not paying any attention to this girl, and I
kept fund like passer op to all my friends like oh,
have you met so and so? Have you met some
you know? And it just didn't go very well. And
then like a couple of weeks later, I'm hearing things
(10:51):
that she was saying like that I was like getting
with other girls at the formal or something like that,
which I wasn't, So she was just lying. I don't
know if she was lying or she misheard something or whatever.
But then and then I had to go back and
I had to go to the person like set me
up with this girl and be like hey, like that
was awful, Like why would you need that to me?
Speaker 4 (11:12):
That's a horrible date. Yeah, thank god that story is over.
That wasn't good.
Speaker 8 (11:18):
I'll tell a story. Heard two friends go to random dates,
all anonymous, go down. Maybe it was the same date
event in San Francisco's and so they took buses there.
They may have been party buses. I think there were
more spread out buses.
Speaker 5 (11:34):
So it's two guys, you know, and then two girls,
two brands, bring two of our friends and the young
on the bus have a few too many drinks and
they see one of the guys sees their other date
stand up and pee on the bus and get proceeded
to get kicked off the bus and the other one follows,
(11:56):
and the two were stuck in usuff and couldn't get
into the event because their dates. There's no good freshman stories.
You guys have the best. What about like your about
the fall? There was definitely something I grow over.
Speaker 6 (12:14):
It really drownk but as a freshman, and keep calling
me the wrong name out of Russian event that I
brought up to pretty demoralizing. I was just probably wouldn't
have let her have the whole bottle of wine though,
But that was fun.
Speaker 2 (12:26):
Those are great stories. What goes down in the fraternity
group chat? Anyone want to share anything, You don't have
to go too far.
Speaker 4 (12:33):
So it depends on the president probably like it depends
on the alter.
Speaker 3 (12:37):
I don't know.
Speaker 4 (12:37):
It always shanges.
Speaker 5 (12:38):
It depends on a leader for sure.
Speaker 4 (12:40):
Our freshman year it was pretty gnarly.
Speaker 9 (12:43):
I felt like there was always kids getting in trouble
for like saying whatever. But it was pretty free for
a right when the newest piece got added, it was
pretty free and like oping to say kind of.
Speaker 4 (12:53):
Whatever we want to. I mean, we do have some rules,
some like pretty strict rules.
Speaker 9 (12:58):
And that yeah no slur, yeah that obviously, and then
you can't like no name dropping girls things like that.
Speaker 7 (13:07):
Yeah, I would say, like the better like gossip wherever
you want to say is in like our smaller fraternity chats,
like our chat with you guys, like our freshman in
junior chat, or like our freshman and sophomore chat that
always has a little bit more jokes on or somebody's
always getting dogged on one of those chats, compared to
like our bigger full fraternity chats a little bit more
like for important stuff.
Speaker 4 (13:28):
Yeah, like the things like strictly business.
Speaker 10 (13:31):
I'd be like, nobody really is talking in that unless
they have, like the conversation won't start unless it's like
business oriented. And then like in the smaller chats, it's
always some bullshit going on, like one of our buddies
and the stupid pictures with his girlfriend.
Speaker 3 (13:44):
Yeah yeah, or like there's something that would be said
in the full fraterournity it's like did we have a
private story that's just a fraternity Oh yeah, yeah, that's.
Speaker 5 (13:53):
Kind of good stuff on snapchat.
Speaker 4 (13:55):
Yeah, yeah. Yeah.
Speaker 2 (13:57):
I think also when people drink, when we have all
the night out, like it gets very active when people
are drunk.
Speaker 5 (14:04):
Maybe people try to fight.
Speaker 2 (14:05):
Other guys or like I don't know, try to get
more just rowby, try to get ready.
Speaker 8 (14:10):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (14:10):
Yeah, another question, did you guys try to seem cooler
during frat rush?
Speaker 5 (14:18):
For sure by doing well? How'd you act actual any different? Like? Well,
I don't know in what ways did you try to?
Speaker 4 (14:25):
Like you think I acted different? I think I probably
not like a yes man. You know.
Speaker 9 (14:29):
It's like if they if they like something, I like
that too, you know what I mean? Like you like soccer.
I've never watched off in my life. I love soccer,
you know what I mean. Like I'm really getting into soccers,
you know what I mean? Or just like he's just
playing out my character.
Speaker 10 (14:41):
Yeah, you know, I think you like censor like some
of the things that you don't go with like your
first instinct on things you like, you try to make
yourself more appealing, like Cole said, whereas like you were trying,
like when you're trying to make somebody like you, you
appeal to what they like.
Speaker 2 (14:56):
Yeah, there's people that lie that were saying like I'm
a photographer, I'm a DJ.
Speaker 5 (15:00):
We have hobbies that they will never do.
Speaker 9 (15:02):
That stuff that's just bound to happen, though, like dudes
who at of seem like completely lie about who they are.
Speaker 7 (15:07):
But I would say, like there's definitely a big difference
between like how girls act in rushing out guys acting rushed.
I'd say it's a lot more likely for girls to
like put on a complete like facade and act completely
different than yeah they are.
Speaker 4 (15:17):
Guys can kind of see.
Speaker 7 (15:18):
Through that a little bit easier, I guess, or like
they can see like your true character, I feel like
through all the things that you say, So it's a
little bit harder to put on that front. But I
think definitely, like like Luke was saying, putting on that
like censorship of some things is definitely something that happen.
Speaker 5 (15:34):
I think that comes from the stereotype of girls being
better at being fake.
Speaker 9 (15:37):
Yeah, our rush is also so different. It's like months long,
and like you're hanging out with guys every day and
you really get to know a guy. It's not just like,
you know, three days where you're even have ten to
fifteen minute conversations.
Speaker 2 (15:48):
Yeah, can you guys share your worst hazing story without
getting in trouble.
Speaker 4 (15:53):
No, probably no, probably not Okay.
Speaker 2 (15:59):
If you were to much, would you have to get
paid to do hazing again or pledging again?
Speaker 4 (16:04):
Yeah, we don't hate Yeah, i'd say have a pledge
process with it. I don't know, maybe like two thousand
and three thousand dollars. Yeah, I mean I wish I
could do plagues again because you know here we don't
hate it all. It was a great experience game with
the brothers and it was just a great time in
my life, you.
Speaker 5 (16:19):
Know, being close to people and it's a lot of learning.
Speaker 4 (16:23):
It's like the most fun you never want to have again. Yeah. Yeah,
i'd probably say like ten bucks in a chop.
Speaker 3 (16:33):
