it's not as easy as you think, just because uh,

front of lights and TV all the time. But it's

How how did you get involved with the weather man though? Like,
how how did that cross cross promotion come?

So Dave Hero with Blizzard Brawl, you know, he runs
a great show, uh every year out of Waukeshaw with
Wisconsin and then in Milwaukee, and basically, I don't know,
the weather man decided he's actually not a weather man.

He's like the anchor. He's actually above the weather. Yeah,
he's actually anchorman. Anchorman. They're all the same, They're all
a bunch of newscasters jerks. Yeah, I'm trying to keep
this PG because I'm I'm glad, I'm classy now and

You know, the people next door might not appreciate me,

he's Uh Dave Harold runs a great show up at
a blizzard Ball every year and Walkshaw Arena and you
know this, this guy contacted Dave. I guess I wanted
to be in a match. And so last year it

He had the gun Club with him back you know,
when they weren't ass boys.

last year and uh uh you know, basically we had
a match with the ass boys and he just kind
of stood stood there and looked stupid. And then uh,
towards the end, of course, you know, the ass boys
make the triumph comeback and Austin hit me with his

dad's move, not his move, and his dad does it
way better than him, by the way, and hit me
with the famouser and I popped up. And of course,
you know what does every rookie wrestler do. Uh, you know,
they do their their their version of stone cold stunner.
And he got me and unfortunately he got one two three,

and uh, he decided to make an Emmy winning video
out of it. He's actually in line to win an
Emmy for the Midwest Newscaster Awards or something.

And to give to give him props uh and stuff.
That awards ceremony is actually the night of Blizzard Brawl,
so to give. He could have gone and accepted as
award because I'm in it, so I know he's gonna
win it. But he decided that he, you know, as is,
is going to you know, make the challenge. Well, I

mean somebody that hasn't come out of the shadows a
long time, as you know, Mordecai the pail Rider. And
I was like, you know what, if you think you're tough,
we'll bring back, you know, Mordecai for that night. And uh,
you know, because he's of course got the sin of
pride because he thinks he's better than me. And uh,
I'm gonna beat pissed at him as Mordecai and callin

And I believe it because I I've been at your wrath,
I felt the hands, I've been beaten up by Kevin Thorton.

The biggest fear for me is because I'm wearing all
the white, is getting it dirty right before I go
out and look like I got the runs or something
when I when I walk up, it's been a while.
That was w W two is I had all that
white on and trying to you know, with all the
people with the fake tan and stuff like that. It's
like me, I do not want to look like I
just I'm a toilet paper wad instead of a you know,

you know, a feared, white white wrestler or a white,
uh pale writer.

It always did have a tint of like gold when
you were leaving the ring versus when you came.

I saw you at one of the signings. You were
Mordecai dressed as Mordechai, and we hugged a nice embrace.
My bronzer got on your shoulder. You didn't realize it

gotta go, and I walked and I remember telling the
person I was with, oh my god, I just dirtied his.

Dirty, dirty his white so bad.

It's like, my cheek hit your show because you're you're
taller than I am, so my cheek was here and
it just it was a nice shade of bronze. And
I said, shit, I got to get out of here.

The worst time ever.

And actually Vampio is going to be on this show
and I'm going to ask him about it. But the
worst time ever is I was a wrestling Vampio in
Italy and we were in it was some I mean,
just a stravagant Italian town. We're wrestling in like the
middle of like all this old architecture and.

All this stuff.
Speaker 3 (09:43):
And you know, they had me wrestling as Mordecai and
then of course Vampiro is Vampio. But Vampiro liked to
spit the blood like dangrelle does you know, up in
the air. And beforehand I said, look, I know you
like to spit it near right in front of your opponent.
But I go, dude, I'm wearing all this white and
I can't not like we're not gonna have a washing

machine for a while. I can't get you dirty. And
we've got like six or seven more dates up, you know,
and I'm like, dude, please don't, please don't. And of course,
you know, you look at the curtain and you know
everybody stick on their head out, uh, you know, knowing
what he's about to do.

And I'm like, don't do it, just don't do it.

And of course all over and then I just I'm like, dude,
I look like a tampon now. And I I came,
I came from left field and slapped him so hard.
He's like, oh, you know, and then I mean just
commenced to going at it and he's like, I'm sorry,

I'm sorry, and all the boys in the back are
laughing because now they know that. I'm like, I'm like,
I told you just don't do this. So yeah, I'm
gonna remind him of this at Blizzard Brawl, you know,
and go, hey, by the way, remember that you uh,
you know, deciding to you know, make me, make me
look uh incredibly stupid.

I've got to give props to Dave Hero. Dave here
is probably one of my favorite promoters to work for.
He always runs a great show. He always takes care
of the guys. You know, it's it's going to be packed.

Last year we did it for the Bronze. Strowman E
C three were there, and we did it for the
Waukeshaw Christmas Parade victims.

You watched the news yesterday, that piece of you know,
I'm sorry, that piece of ship. Uh. Daryl Brooks who
was ran over everybody got a thousand I think he
got a thousand years in jail uh and and six
consecutive life sentences what he did and deserved every bit
of it. And if that judge is watching this, Dorset,

I would personally invite you to come down because you
are a rock star in that and everything else. And
I would love for her to come sit front row.

It's basically I mean, you do it. You see everybody,
and you're like, man, I miss I missed the boys.

Yeah. The caaraderie is a big deal for me too,
because you know, I have so many friends and none
of them live near me, and it's the only way
that you can spend time with people.

For it, yep, exactly. I mean it's basically a vacation
for the weekend. I mean, you know, and a lot
of times it's not about the money, because god knows,
they don't pay me enough anyway, and it's just it's

to see some people, drink a couple of beers, tell
some stories, have a great time, get up on a

flight thing which was way too early and more than
likely way too cheap of a flight, so, you know,
and everything else. But it's still like and those are
the times you're.

But you know, it's it's still at the end of
the time, it's that's a one week adventure that nobody
in this uh real world will ever understand. And I
think that's why we're so blessed as you know, being
able to have done what we did, and everything else

in a in a fantasy land for a weekend and

have a blast, and then you come back and try to,
you know, tell your story to the real world and
everybody's like, no, there's no way.

that's that's killer.

The word that's being thrown around at all these conventions
is legends, which I don't consider myself a legend, but
I consider myself old, and I think being old makes
me fall into the legends category.

You would have fit right in with us. It would
have been great. I always say, like you were one
of the guys in the fakey Sedu that I truly
liked and trusted, you know what I mean, Like, because
you get a feel for people and a lot of
people were Uh. I don't like to use the term
stand offish, but you were more down to earth than

a lot of the other superstars that were in the
company at the time, and I just clicked with you.
And I always get so upset because Shelley's still one
of my dear friends. I just wish that our program
could have went further and we could have did more
together well.

And I mean, you know, in the in the big
big problem with that is is we were doing we
were getting over organically.
Speaker 2 (19:41):

And I think that was the biggest fear, is, Hey,
we've got all these money and these these idiots and
some of them weren't idiots, but you know, some of
and and and stuff.

These guys that were not really given you know, the
promos to this and that too. But they're going out
and having great matches and they're getting great audience reception
and they're doing this. Oh oh, we gotta you know,
we we can't. We can't have that. I mean, if
we didn't, if we didn't make it, we can't. We
can't let that happen. And I think that's that was

the biggest you know to me, that was when you
look back at it, that was the biggest fear.

Well also bols Mahoney was on drugs and that didn't
help me at all.

So yeah, once he took that pissed test, it was over.
It was like done, and I said to myself, well,
there goes the program, there goes my push and I'm done.

It was like, you know, half oxy cotton, half corse light.

Yeah, I still remember you know the they you know
they it was an Orlando I think right before Christmas,
and I don't know what he did, but they just
gave me the nod and they're like, go out there
and beat the ever living piss out of him.

And I was like, okay. I was like I have
to I coould to go. And he's like, oh, oh
my god, oh what did you do?

I mean, he was like, dude, I just got told
to it's my moment, and you know what.

I'm going to win. Kevin did's a work stuff? Oh yeah,
it work. It's a work. I'm like, have you ever
seen you swing a chair? It's not a work. Yeah.

When he's on the receiving end, yeah, yeah, it was
so It broke my heart. It was so unfortunate, and
I was just you know, I understand substance abuse problems.
I get it, but everybody was trying to clean themselves
up at that point because you wanted to keep your job.
And I was just so like, Balls is one of
my he was one of my favorite people in the world.

He was like a gentle giant, you know what, harm
a fly. But it just irked me because I'm like,
can't you just get your ship together for five seconds,
like you just you didn't just ruin your life, you.

Just ruined mine.

But we were we were a team at that point.
And then you know, not to sound selfish, but I
was just like, okay, he's gone now and now and
then and then they're like, go get your bikini and I'm.

Like, no, I don't want to, like get out of here.

So I was just devastated because we, the four of us,
could have did so much.

Such a such a downer to me.

Especially when you when you love who you work with.
That doesn't happen too often up there, yeah, you know
what I mean. And like we we all liked each
other and we had a good connection, and it just
it just could have been so much better.

Is the business? How's the business scaling? Are we selling
millions of houses?

I mean, you know, and that's kind of you know countrywide.
Uh enuf with you know, higher interest rates and stuff
like that. Again, we're getting depressing again, but I keep

wrestling flavor. You know, there's nothing better than seeing you know,

a new home buyer and stuff like that. Uh, you know,
get to you know, get to close in my house.
But then you know when I bring out that uh
you know, my little championship belt, which I totally forgot
to bring today because I was gonna, you know, put whatever.
But uh, you know, it's still get to do some
wrestling flair and kind of see them cheese out on

a wrestling belt.

You know, it's fun too for me.

I mean, you know, wrestling's open up so many avenues
for me in real estate stuff like that. You know,
I met a I just met a guy for lunch rip.

Uh and he's another agent and we've done a couple
of cross deals together, and you know, he's like, hey, man,
I really want to go to lunch with you.

And I was like, all right, what are you gonna

talk about is wrestling, Like what about this guy? What
about this? And then I told him, I said, hey,
look man, I.

Gotta leave at like one about one o'clock, shoot straight
back over to my office because I gotta, you know,
I've gotta go get on Francine's podcast.

He's like, oh, no way. I was like, yes, yes,
I am.

It's so cool, you know, on how many doors it opens,
and you know, I really consider, you know, to me,
wrestlings like frosted flakes. Everybody acts like, you know, oh,
I would never eat that. But they're in the dark,
you know, watching it and talking about it and everything else.
And when you really, you know, get to open them
up and stuff like that, you know, they're, oh, remember

this this match, you know at that time, and I
think that's you know, that's the coolest thing about what
we've what we've done and what we've accomplished, and nobody
can take that away from us.

So when I go to the gym in the morning,
the the treadmills that I that I warm up on
have YouTube channel, so I basically go to, uh, one day,
I'll go to w W e's whatever the raw highlights are.
It's like twelve minutes of whatever's going on. And then
the next day I'll do you know, after on a Thursday,
I'll do a w's highlights and kind of watch what's

you know, what what happened?

It's quicker. I can't sit for two hours watch it.
I just don't have time.

Right for me, it's either I'm doing real estate or
my you know, my son's huge in lacrosse, huge in football.

you know, there's there's a couple of indie wrestlers. There's

some others out there that have that have called me,

you get a feel for people and a lot of

stand offish, but you were more down to earth than

a lot of the other superstars that were in the
company at the time, and I just clicked with you.
And I always get so upset because Shelley's still one
of my dear friends. I just wish that our program
could have went further and we could have did more
together well.

And I mean, you know, in the in the big
big problem with that is is we were doing we
were getting over organically.

Uh.

And I think that was the biggest fear, is, Hey,
we've got all these money and these these idiots and
some of them weren't idiots, but you know, some of
and and and stuff.

And here here's.

These guys that were not really given you know, the
promos to this and that too. But they're going out
and having great matches and they're getting great audience reception
and they're doing this. Oh oh, we gotta you know,
we we can't. We can't have that. I mean, if
we didn't, if we didn't make it, we can't. We
can't let that happen. And I think that's that was

the biggest you know to me, that was when you
look back at it, that was the biggest fear.
Speaker 4 (20:18):
Well also bols Mahoney was on drugs and that didn't
help me at all.
Speaker 7 (20:25):
So yeah, once he took that pissed test, it was over.
It was like done, and I said to myself, well,
there goes the program, there goes my push and I'm done.
Speaker 3 (20:39):
It was like, you know, half oxy cotton, half corse light.
Speaker 2 (20:44):
He knew what was half marble marble lights.
Speaker 3 (20:49):
Yeah, I still remember you know the they you know
they it was an Orlando I think right before Christmas,
and I don't know what he did, but they just
gave me the nod and they're like, go out there
and beat the ever living piss out of him.
Speaker 2 (21:04):
And I was like, okay. I was like I have
to I coould to go. And he's like, oh, oh
my god, oh what did you do?
Speaker 3 (21:15):
I mean, he was like, dude, I just got told
to it's my moment, and you know what.
Speaker 2 (21:23):
I'm going to win. Kevin did's a work stuff? Oh yeah,
it work. It's a work. I'm like, have you ever
seen you swing a chair? It's not a work. Yeah.
Speaker 4 (21:35):
When he's on the receiving end, yeah, yeah, it was
so It broke my heart. It was so unfortunate, and
I was just you know, I understand substance abuse problems.
I get it, but everybody was trying to clean themselves
up at that point because you wanted to keep your job.
And I was just so like, Balls is one of
my he was one of my favorite people in the world.
(21:57):
He was like a gentle giant, you know what, harm
a fly. But it just irked me because I'm like,
can't you just get your ship together for five seconds,
like you just you didn't just ruin your life, you.
Speaker 5 (22:10):
Just ruined mine.
Speaker 4 (22:13):
But we were we were a team at that point.
And then you know, not to sound selfish, but I
was just like, okay, he's gone now and now and
then and then they're like, go get your bikini and I'm.
Speaker 5 (22:22):
Like, no, I don't want to, like get out of here.
Speaker 4 (22:27):
So I was just devastated because we, the four of us,
could have did so much.
Speaker 5 (22:32):
Such a such a downer to me.
Speaker 4 (22:35):
Especially when you when you love who you work with.
That doesn't happen too often up there, yeah, you know
what I mean. And like we we all liked each
other and we had a good connection, and it just
it just could have been so much better.

Can we end a little higher than that? I mean
that was a little bit of a downer too.
Speaker 4 (22:54):
Is the business? How's the business scaling? Are we selling
millions of houses?
Speaker 2 (23:00):

It's going great? I mean it's slowed down a little bit.
I mean, you know, and that's kind of you know countrywide.
Uh enuf with you know, higher interest rates and stuff
like that. Again, we're getting depressing again, but I keep
it well, you know, I still get to interject some
wrestling flavor. You know, there's nothing better than seeing you know,

a new home buyer and stuff like that. Uh, you know,
get to you know, get to close in my house.
But then you know when I bring out that uh
you know, my little championship belt, which I totally forgot
to bring today because I was gonna, you know, put whatever.
But uh, you know, it's still get to do some
wrestling flair and kind of see them cheese out on

a wrestling belt.

You know, it's fun too for me.

I mean, you know, wrestling's open up so many avenues
for me in real estate stuff like that. You know,
I met a I just met a guy for lunch rip.

Uh and he's another agent and we've done a couple
of cross deals together, and you know, he's like, hey, man,
I really want to go to lunch with you.
Speaker 2 (24:06):
And I was like, all right, what are you gonna
want to talk about? The only thing we want to
talk about is wrestling, Like what about this guy? What
about this? And then I told him, I said, hey,
look man, I.
Speaker 3 (24:15):
Gotta leave at like one about one o'clock, shoot straight
back over to my office because I gotta, you know,
I've gotta go get on Francine's podcast.
Speaker 2 (24:24):
He's like, oh, no way. I was like, yes, yes,
I am.
Speaker 3 (24:32):
It's so cool, you know, on how many doors it opens,
and you know, I really consider, you know, to me,
wrestlings like frosted flakes. Everybody acts like, you know, oh,
I would never eat that. But they're in the dark,
you know, watching it and talking about it and everything else.
And when you really, you know, get to open them
up and stuff like that, you know, they're, oh, remember

this this match, you know at that time, and I
think that's you know, that's the coolest thing about what
we've what we've done and what we've accomplished, and nobody
can take that away from us.

It's like twelve minutes of whatever's going on. And then
the next day I'll do you know, after on a Thursday,
I'll do a w's highlights and kind of watch what's

It's quicker. I can't sit for two hours watch it.
I just don't have time.

Right for me, it's either I'm doing real estate or
my you know, my son's huge in lacrosse, huge in football.
My daughter's huge in lacrosse. I mean, we're we're running
around to I'm an uber uber driver for kids right now.
I'm not working, so it's it's kind of, uh, as
quick as I can get it in, I try to
get it in, but I still try to watch. You know,

a lot of stuff I don't understand. You know, Uh,
it's stuff, but it's you know as a whole. I
mean there's guys that are you know, definitely you know,
coming up and and becoming big stars and stuff like that.

And you know there's days you know, you.

Always as you know, you always look back, you always
look and go. I could probably be better than that
in this day and age, but it's like, you know what,
it's good for them, you know, I try not to
be the bitter old son of a bitch. That's you know,
like I hate this stuff. I never watch it. Yeah,
yeah we do, because we still I mean, we still
love it, you know when we still we still want

to see it. I mean we grew up fans watching it.
That's the reason why we got in it, so you know,
definitely love watching it. But I like, you know, to me,
sometimes it's like I love the old guys that get
like Billy Gunn better, you know, and he'll kill me

I didn't go back and watch that match, and I'm like, okay,

I'm like, you guys are idiots, Like most over guy
didn't come back out to like to one more come on,

I would need six months to get ready for that
TV run because I'm fortunate. It just made me really fat, right,
you know. I mean, I'm trying to diet down for
this one, and I'm like, I'm gonna be barely there.

And stuff. I think if I was to do that
I'd have to get much better shape and stuff. And
I mean not that I couldn't do it.

I've got everything going on for me now, right, and

is I just need a real job. It is because
I knew, I knew, you know what five Yeah, I've
been in real estate five years now. I knew five
years ago I was in the best shape of my life,
you know. And I went to all the things and
aw hadn't started yet, of course, but you know, several
things people saw me, They're like, oh, you look great

and all this stuff, and I was like, Okay, maybe
I'm gonna get the call. And you just kind of
waited around and waited around and waited around, and I
was like, you know what, it's time. You know, it's
time to hang up a little bit and and and
go full force into into something else. And I mean
I choseily. I mean I I the you know, the
(29:56):
stuff that I've done with real estate is is really
really done well. And I really like to like, you know,
you know, there's there's a couple of indie wrestlers. There's
you know, some other guys like James Storm. Uh, some
some others out there that have that have called me,
that have that have gotten into real estate, and we've all,
(30:18):
you know, we've all kind of talked and stuff, and
I mean it's it's great just seeing Hey.
Speaker 2 (30:22):
You know what you know.
Speaker 3 (30:24):
I think corporate world gives us ah, hey you know,
oh you're just a wrestler, but we proved that, you know,
because of this profession and everything else, we can do
anything out there, you know, except maybe solve you know,
some sort of weird algebra problem. But other than that,
I mean, I think, you know, we're you know what
I mean, I mean, we're we're we're we're invincible out there.

I mean and and and and and worthy of uh
you know corporations, you know, using using us and and
using our knowledge and stuff like that. I mean we
you know, most of us, you know, we've worked, we
worked you know, me and you we worked for a
maniacal fucking third billionaire.

Let's be honest. Yeah, I mean you know, if we
can do that, I mean we can do anything.
Speaker 4 (31:13):
Yeah, and I think you know what, I think your
philosophy is kind of like mine. You hit the nail
on the head earlier. You could be a weekend warrior
when you want. You can choose what you want to do,
but your main focus right now is your family and
your business. But you can still get that little taste anytime.
You just want to go hang out boys and have
a good time.

So it's a win win ye. And two.

I found them happier because if I don't want to
do it, I'm like, well, it's not like I'm not
the money.

That doesn't really matter, Like you know what, and I
think to do that we want I don't care.
