Speaker 1 (00:03):
Welcome in. Everybody is Dynasty double coverage on Fantasy Bros.
I'm your host, Scott Bogman. I have joined as always
by Pat Fitzmorris at fits Underscore ff on the Twitter Machine. FITSI,
what's going on, man, how are you today?
Speaker 2 (00:16):
I'm doing great, Bogs, And you know why I'm doing
so well?
Speaker 1 (00:19):
Why is that?
Speaker 2 (00:20):
I just finished doing waivers before the sun went down,
and the sun is going down pretty early these days,
so I feel great about that. That's the first time
I've done waivers before sunset on a Tuesday in a while,
so I've got my night to myself.
Speaker 1 (00:35):
Look at this fancy guy over here.
Speaker 2 (00:38):
I know how good is that? Man?
Speaker 1 (00:40):
That's great for you. I still have to do. I
got a lot of work to do, so Wednesday is
one of my busier days. But we're all good here,
ready to answer some Dynasty questions. We're over on the discord.
You guys should check us out on the Fantasy Pros Discord.
More on that and a little bit. But FITZI, I
just wanted to gather a couple I was updating my
(01:03):
Dynasty ranks today and I wanted to get your opinion
on a couple player debates I had before he kicked
things off with the listeners. Oh sure, So first I
want you to order these three for Dynasty for me.
Kyn Williams, r J Harvey, Kenneth Walker.
Speaker 2 (01:23):
Do I get team context of like record and what
just in it? Or do I just in a total vacuum.
Speaker 1 (01:29):
Local vacuum bubble? However you want to say, yeah, RV
Walker and Kyron because Kyroen's splitting now, but this could
be a temporary thing. It's interesting, is he splitting?
Speaker 2 (01:45):
I mean, I feel like it's still sixty five thirty five,
still in his favor, but in.
Speaker 1 (01:50):
The snaps are like that, but the carries have been
closer to you know, sixty forty fifty five forty five
something like that.
Speaker 2 (01:59):
Yeah, I'm gonna go. I'm still gonna go with I'm
gonna go Hyron, Kenneth Walker, r J Harvey. Right, so
I have the thing.
Speaker 1 (02:11):
I've got Kyrien, Harvey Walker, so we both have Kyron ahead.
I was asking in the chat before between Harvey and
Ken Walker because I think that might be a little closer,
and Harvey got the nod for a couple of people
did so. Uh.
Speaker 2 (02:27):
Interesting, I could see that it's you know, if I
knew that Sean Payton was retiring after this season, I
might have Harvey higher. I just feel like Harvey is
going to be condemned to a MIDI role and probably
a confusing one as far. And like, I don't know,
I kind of thought that before this season and it
didn't bother me as much because I thought there would
(02:50):
just be more overall productivity from the Denver backfield, especially
especially in the receiving game. And I've been a little
bit disappointed about that. So by the way, ban She's
style in the chat my Dynasty waivers hit twelve am
Tuesday's got to keep my head on a swivel. Yes, man,
she's stuff. I would love to have more overnight Wednesday
(03:12):
in the Thursday waiver runs, but everyone wants to do it. Man.
I feel like Tuesday should be a uh, you know,
cooling off day. No activity on Tuesdays, like everyone just
like recombobulate.
Speaker 1 (03:26):
Wednesdays, like either late at night or even overnight Wednesday
in the Thursday, like you're gonna set your line up
before the Thursday night game. You get a double check,
so of course.
Speaker 2 (03:35):
And plus plus you have all the injury information from
Wednesday practices, you have no injury information as of Tuesday
when you're placing waivers, So it just seems weird that
you got to put fat beds when you might be
bidding on guys who are going to be out in
practice and you don't know it. So like a shell
tooton right now, I don't know if he's playing this week,
(03:58):
and I gotta I gotta figure out what to bid
on this guy.
Speaker 1 (04:00):
You know what, the change starts here fits, We're gonna
We're gonna start the change. We're starting it Wednesday to
Thursday waivers. That's what we want. That's on the docket
for twenty twenty six. Right now, we're starting it. We're
starting this movement.
Speaker 2 (04:14):
Now, this and this, this is of course a redraft thing,
and this is a dynasty chat, so it doesn't matter
as much when I'm trying to decide whether to bed
on Chris Brooks in my you know, thirty roster Dynasty league.
But anyway, I agree draft.
Speaker 1 (04:29):
I got a wide receiver one for you. Before diving
into some questions here, tet Roe McMillan or Brian Thomas Junior.
Speaker 2 (04:37):
Oh, McMillan not close snap decision I'm not close.
Speaker 1 (04:41):
I got him at fourteen and twenty. I got I
move Brian Thomas down to twenty. So I've got Tetor
Roe at fourteen. That might be low for him, honestly,
but uh, yeah, I think I moved BTJ way down.
Speaker 2 (04:54):
Yeah, I don't blame you. I think you have to
after what we've seen so far.
Speaker 1 (04:59):
What about let me we speaking of j Vers Marvin
Harrison real quick. That's the last one.
Speaker 2 (05:04):
That is an interesting one. I've got them next to
each other in my dynasty rankings, and I've actually got
Harrison one spot higher, and I don't know if that's
the right ad.
Speaker 1 (05:12):
I got BTJ one spot higher, but they're in the vicinity.
So that's all. I wanted to get a couple because
there are a couple here while I was doing this
earlier today where I was like, I wonder what fits
is feeling on these, So appreciate the insight my front.
Speaker 2 (05:26):
Speaking speaking of Teto McMillan, can I give you one
before we go to the absolutely to the questions? All right?
So trade which side would you rather want? Hetero McMillan
or Quinn Shawn Judkins and A twenty twenty six second
round rookie pick, middle of the second round.
Speaker 1 (05:46):
Man, God, the volume is so good for Judkins, but
the offense is so bad. Wide receivers last longer in Dynasty.
I probably want McMillan then. I mean, the second round
pick is nice, but it's kind of a kick in.
So between both of those, I think I would slightly
(06:08):
air towards the side of McMillan. But I think it's
a very good trade.
Speaker 2 (06:12):
Yeah. I was just offered this trade in a Dynasty
league and I turned it down. I'm the McMillan stakeholder.
Speaker 1 (06:18):
Okay, yeah, all right, on the same page. I like it.
FITZI going the same way.
Speaker 2 (06:22):
I think Judkins. Judkins is good, but he's averaged three
point two yards per carry ever since he had in
the I think it was back in Week five when
he had that three touchdown game against Miami in the
bad weather. Yeah, since then, since that game, three point
two yards per carry.
Speaker 1 (06:40):
They don't have to they don't have to protect Jerry
Judy because he's going to drop the ball. The tight
ends have not been great, and they have no quarterback,
so here nine in the box every time Judkins. So
I think if they open it up Judkins is still
a really good running back, but are they going to
even do that next year? It's a question.
Speaker 2 (07:00):
Yeah, they're at least throwing to him now, which is good,
and I know we'll see. Like, I just wish there
was some assurance that they were going to be able
to upgrade the quarterback position. And they do have the
extra first round pick next year, but I mean, what
are we going for Bogs? It's Simpson and Fernando Mendoza. Like, man,
(07:21):
I'm just I wish I could get more excited about
the twenty twenty six rookie class. But I'm just not excited.
Speaker 1 (07:28):
Shaan Watson again on a different deal. We'll see. I know, dude,
it's gross. It is gross. Before we dive into some
limited listener questions here, let me remind you guys about
Reality Sports Online. And by now most of you have
probably heard of Reality Sports Online, the powerful fantasy sports
platform where owners get the building manager fantasy team like
an NFL general manager. But the question is, have you
(07:50):
tried it? It's time to go see what all the
buzz in the dynasty community is about. Free agency, multi
year contracts, a rookie draft, multi team trades, franchise tags,
con tracked extensions, first round rookie options, automated contract and
salary cap functionality, and much much more. If you think
it sounds complicated, it's not. The best thing about Reality
Sports Online Fantasy front Office is that it doesn't take
(08:11):
any more time than a standard league. It just requires
more strategy. If you think you're among the fantasy elite,
this is the platform to test your metal. If you're
still not sure, you can test out your general manager
skills for frube free and a mock free agency auction.
If you like what you see, use the promo code

(08:33):
one word to receive a ten percent discount on your
team or league today. Fantasy just got real at Reality
sportsonline dot com. All right, FITZI, let's go to our
first person up here. Mctundall was hanging out with me
a little bit before we fired up. Mctundall what he
got for us, My friend.
Speaker 2 (08:50):
Yeah, I got a couple questions here for us, and
I would.
Speaker 3 (08:53):
Actually just offer for McMillan on our running back needed
team there McMillan or Hampton straight up a Marion.
Speaker 1 (09:02):
Hampton, McMillan, Hampton, Fitzy. That's a good trade. But I
think I think I want McMillan. The wide receivers typically
last longer in dynasty leagues.
Speaker 2 (09:12):
So your thoughts, yes, man, So I mean going back
to the start of the season, of course, everyone was
commonly drafting Omar and Hampton ahead of Tetron McMillan. So
basically it has our as our position on that changed
(09:34):
or not, you know what I mean?
Speaker 1 (09:37):
Has?
Speaker 2 (09:38):
Yeah, it has.
Speaker 1 (09:39):
I wasn't sure about McMillan with Bryce Young, and I
was like, man, if it doesn't, if this doesn't go right,
like maybe lately get takes a step up because he's
also a first round pick, right, But it's just been
tet Ros automatically. And then we kind of saw it
from like the beginning of camp, right the beginning of camp,
(10:00):
all these great reports, and then into the season he's
been pretty great as well. Hampton is awesome. I love
the offense that he's in, but Videll probably is fighting
for a role now, and because of his injury, they're
probably going to draft a decent backup as well. To
cover this problem that they've had this year. So it's
McMillan for me. He didn't get injured in his rookie
(10:22):
year and they're both pretty good.
Speaker 2 (10:25):
Yeah, I mean, I think it is a tie. Mctunda.
I think it's basically even. I don't think there's any
threat to Hampton's primacy in that backfield. Bugs. What bothers
me more about Hampton is just like how terrible the
interior of that offensive line is. Like it's getting really
exacerbated now just because Joe Alt's not there. But like
(10:47):
next year they'll have Alt and Rashaan Slater and it'll
be okay with the tackles man that the interior three,
I just yeah, maybe the worst in the league.
Speaker 1 (10:57):
They were showing the Sunday Night Football game when they
thought my Steelers, by the way, but they were showing
the PFF grades underneath these guys, and it was like
thirty six of thirty six, thirty seven of thirty eight,
Uh you know, thirty four of thirty eight. It was rough.
The grades were terrible.
Speaker 2 (11:14):
Yeah, yeah, so I know it's it's it's really bad.
But yeah, I mean, I I totally agree with your
take that wide receivers hold their value better. And I
don't think Hampton or McMillan has done anything to disappoint us.
It's not what we I don't think either guy has
(11:34):
been a disappointment at all. I think they both totally
linked up the expectations and I agree that after you know,
Hampton being the more desirable guy in rookie draft season,
that McMillan has now pulled into a tie.
Speaker 1 (11:49):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (11:49):
Oh, I'm I'm totally if you need a running back, Tonda,
I'm I'm totally fine with taking this deal. Okay one,
but I lack question I have there for us.
Speaker 3 (12:00):
I just off Jalen Hurts in a twenty six first
for Drake May.
Speaker 1 (12:04):
Did I do enough? Ooh maybe not, FITZI. I mean
your Drake may Love was a parent before the season
started and it can only have grown from here, obviously,
So what are your thoughts on a first and Hurts
for Drake May? Is that enough?
Speaker 2 (12:25):
I don't think it is, But I'm curious. Mctonda wearing
the first is the picked you know, ballparks.
Speaker 3 (12:30):
For me, it'll be the end because I'm I'm trending
really high. I'm trying to basically build gotcha for the
windows here, and so it's trending towards late first.
Speaker 2 (12:41):
Yeah, I couldn't do it, especially seeing some of the
malfunctions we've seen with the Billy passing game lately. You know,
it gets really only worked in fits and spurts this year.
So I don't think, like if I'm if I had May,
(13:02):
I wouldn't do it under any circumstances, like I'd want
more maybe a twenty twenty seven first, you can, you
could interest me, but uh yeah, if I'm if I'm
on the May side, I'm not doing this one.
Speaker 3 (13:14):
Yeah, he has Lamar right now, So I was trying
to see if I could push the envelope because he
has Lamar already.
Speaker 1 (13:19):
Yeah, if he has Lamar already, you might do that.
This is this is one QB league.
Speaker 4 (13:25):
Yeh, one QB league.
Speaker 1 (13:26):
Yeah, I think one QB league. That's probably enough fits,
isn't it. I kind of thought it was a.
Speaker 2 (13:30):
Super one QB leg Oh okay, okay, jelen, Yeah, that
that should be enough. That definitely, that definitely swings it
a little.
Speaker 1 (13:40):
That that'll give up that twenty seven.
Speaker 2 (13:44):
Yeah, yeah, yeah is fully loaded.
Speaker 1 (13:49):
So and and listen if he comes back and says no,
just say like, okay, how far off are we? Like?
What else would you want? What gets this done? To
get Drake May and see if they're just being unreasonable
or not. And if they are, say maybe then go okay,
well how much for Lamar Jackson then? Because maybe they're
or I may because he's younger, so and maybe.
Speaker 2 (14:09):
A one QB yeah, and a one QB. It's already
almost too almost too much to offer, so I like,
I wouldn't, I wouldn't go beyond that. Mctundall, like, if
they turned that down, like you've You've tried your best,
and it might you might just have to move on
and settle for hurts, you know.
Speaker 1 (14:27):
Yeah, I gotcha. Thanks mcdondat, appreciate you, my friend.
Speaker 2 (14:31):
Man.
Speaker 1 (14:32):
All right, let's see who is up next. We've got Jackie.
What's up, Jackie? How are we doing? My friend?
Speaker 3 (14:41):
Hey?
Speaker 4 (14:41):
Boys, am I coming through loud and clue?
Speaker 1 (14:43):
We got you? What's going on?
Speaker 5 (14:45):
Indeed, just a few quick ones for you guys. The
first one's probably more of a.
Speaker 4 (14:50):
Overarching dynasty question.
Speaker 5 (14:53):
I spoke to you guys a couple of months ago,
and since then I've been able to get out of
this horrid twenty twenty six and I've got two twenty
twenty seven first now and three twenty twenty seven seconds.
Speaker 1 (15:08):
I guess my.
Speaker 5 (15:09):
Question was, is how to stay positive in a full
on rebuild. I was five and nine last year, had
a bunch of draft picks in this year's draft, but
as we know, kind of it takes a few years
for rookies to pop off and that kind of stuff.
I'm sitting three and eight, and I know, Bogs, you
like to say that, Yeah, as strong as the twenty
(15:31):
twenty seven draft class is, that's you've got to wait
to at least twenty twenty seven and probably twenty twenty
eight or twenty twenty nine for.
Speaker 4 (15:38):
Those guys to really start to contribute to your team.
Speaker 5 (15:41):
So I guess just wanted a bit of advice from yeah,
both you gentlemen about your staying positive in a rebuild
when you're losing far more more games than you're you're winning.
Speaker 1 (15:51):
I mean, I think just staying active and finding deals
and you know, just keep hammering at it. It's almost
you know, it's always more fun to win, but it's
also a lot of fun to build from the ground
up and do the hard work and watch your team grow.
So like, you know, there's so many guys that you
(16:11):
have probably picked up off the wire this year that
you know, you've probably churned that thing, right, You've probably
had the most becomes, the most drops, all that stuff.
But also there's some gems in there, like if you
picked up Troy Franklin out of nowhere, he's been playing great.
You know, there's always a stone to overturn and something
that's going to end up sticking. It doesn't always work,
(16:34):
that's why you're churning a lot. But to me, it's
just staying active and trying to keep building that roster,
is the thing. I know, it gets frustrating to keep
seeing the losses and everything, but you know when you
see the losses, you know you're going to get a
higher and higher pick. You're going to be in a
better position, and that's just more value for your team eventually.
So it does suck to lose that much, but I
(16:57):
think if you keep hammering at it once you get there,
going to feel really good to do it organically. So
that's kind of my advice, kind of you know, probably
a little too flowery for a lot of taste, but FITZI,
what else do you have on top of that?
Speaker 2 (17:11):
No, I think that's pretty good advice. Bogs, like Jackie,
I just I find it freeing when I have no
expectations with a rebuilding team, and I like, I know
I'm not going anywhere, so it's okay. I don't worry
too much about the weekly results, and I'm just you know,
fishing un waivers every week, look at looking at possible trades,
(17:32):
and sometimes it gets to the point where I know
that in a lot of these chats that Bogs and
I've done, people have sort of posted pictures of rebuilding
teams and it's like, what can I trade at this point?
And it's like, well, it looks like you've pretty much
gotten rid of all your veterans with any sort of
worth or whatever, and now it's just just all young
(17:53):
players with upside and there's not much room to do.
So I'm not sure where you're at on that spectrum,
whether you've still got some veteran pieces you can use
as baits, or if you're kind of down to the
studs in the rebuild and just have a bunch of
really young players and it's just playing the waiting game.
But yeah, yeah, I mean, that's that's the thing. I
(18:15):
love that you have on all in on that twenty
twenty seven draft, Like that's the way to do it
if you're rebuilding. Being all in on twenty twenty six,
I think that draft is just an empty vessel. So yeah,
I I don't know, man, I just continue to not
worry about the results and just you'll always feel better
(18:38):
when you start reading about some of the twenty twenty
seven prospects.
Speaker 1 (18:41):
And also yeah, yeah, if you can hold some handcuffs
too and wait for injuries and then trade them to
like if you're holding Brian Robinson and the guy who
is rostering CMC goes down, now you got him over
a bear, you know what I mean. And also, you
have leverage in every trade you do because you don't
care if you lose, right, so you hold out for
(19:04):
that extra piece, for that sliver. You don't give any ground,
which is also fun in trades because it'll frustrate some
people for sure, and you know, you might have a
couple of deals falter because of that, but most of
in most deals, you're going to squeeze that extra pickout.
You're gonna you know, the player on their bench they
don't want to give up. They're eventually gonna have to
(19:25):
give up because you do hold all the cards. So
holding out on trades is also fun in the negotiating
part when your team sucks.
Speaker 4 (19:33):
So yeah, yeah, and I'm probably at that stage. Last year, I.
Speaker 5 (19:38):
Went kind of full rebuild mode and traded away like
a lot of like I traded away like James Connor,
Nick Bosa, like a lot of these kind of more
veteran players for those draft picks.
Speaker 4 (19:49):
So yeah, I don't I don't.
Speaker 5 (19:50):
Have a lot of bargaining chips at the moment, but yeah,
I feel like it's it's probably just been a little
bit harder this year because I don't have I think
my earliest draft pick in this draft. I've got a
couple of fourth round picks and a fifth round pick.
So if I'm sitting at three and eight next year
and I'm leading the sweep stakes, but Jeremiah Smith, I
don't think.
Speaker 4 (20:08):
I don't think I'll care as much. But I will not.
Speaker 1 (20:11):
Yeah right now, you will not, Jeremiah Smith.
Speaker 5 (20:15):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, just a couple of other quick ones guys,
because I know there's lots of other people that want
to ask their questions in terms of twenty twenty seven.
Speaker 4 (20:26):
First, I was thinking.
Speaker 5 (20:27):
Of moving on from Jalen Warren. He's been really good
for me this year. I picked him up in a
trade last year. I got him relatively cheap. What do
you think he is asking price would be for some
draft picks in twenty twenty seven? Is it too much
to ask for a first if I add in maybe
a mid round twenty twenty seven pick or a couple
(20:50):
of late round picks in twenty six and twenty seven.
Speaker 4 (20:53):
Where do you sit on Jalen Warren's value at the moment.
Speaker 1 (20:57):
I mean it's it's pretty high at the moment because
he you know, he is the back and Caleb Johnson
just did nothing this year so or has done nothing
so far. So I would say Warren is pretty good.
I think, what do you think, Fitz? Do you think
you could take Warren in a twenty twenty seven second
and bump up to a back end first or something
(21:17):
like that. I think that's very doable.
Speaker 2 (21:20):
Yeah, I think he could do Warren in a Warren
in a twenty twenty seven second for a twenty twenty
seven first. I think that's a fair price, and I
think that's probably. Yeah, I think that's a reasonable offer,
and I don't think you're shorting the other person. It
might even be like a little bit to their favor,
(21:41):
I mean, because Warren is a pretty nice piece. I'm
just it's gonna be a.
Speaker 1 (21:45):
Good player this But will it be in twenty seven
is the question? Right?
Speaker 2 (21:49):
I mean, of course you'll be happy, you'll be happy
to have that extra lottery ticket for sure, But man,
I mean I think they're gonna be good second rounders
in twenty twenty seven to two.
Speaker 1 (21:59):
So yeah, I sez that there's a back squeeze, a
fourth back, you know what I mean? Again, Yeah, you
hold all the leverage, so squeeze.
Speaker 2 (22:07):
Yeah, it's a very fair offer though. I think a
second and Warren for a first in twenty twenty seven
very fair. Yep.
Speaker 4 (22:15):
When would when would you do that trade? Would you
like out trade deadlines just pass now? League?
Speaker 5 (22:21):
So I can't do it now until kind of just
before next year's draft? Would you do it kind of
a year out? Would you wipe a little bit into
into next season?
Speaker 1 (22:30):
No? Do it? No? No, do it early because uh,
you know, right now everything is the same for Pittsburgh.
But if there are changes made at you know, coach,
then it would be coordinator and then you could get
wholesale changes with rosters. So yeah, if Warren finishes out
the year really well, you might have a little bit
(22:51):
better value for him then since your trade deadline is
already gone. Or if he doesn't finish out well, you
may be looking more like a second round twenty seven
pick for so his value would probably shift a little,
but it shouldn't change too much. I would think you
would be right in that range. But I would want
specifically if it looks like the Steelers like going a
bad losing streak and you know, Mike Tomlin might leave
(23:13):
or however they're going to do it, if there are
going to be changes made in Pittsburgh, I would want
to do that trade fairly quickly.
Speaker 5 (23:19):
So yeah, sure, And just my last one, just where
are you guys sitting on both the Texans rookie wide
receivers Jayden Higgins and Jalen Nole.
Speaker 4 (23:30):
I drafted both of them.
Speaker 5 (23:31):
I was actually able to jag Jalen Knowell with my
last pick of the fourth round.
Speaker 4 (23:36):
And I don't know if he is more likely to
pop off than Higgins. Higgins seems like he's kind of
nestling nice into that number two role.
Speaker 5 (23:43):
I'm kind of keen to see how he goes this
week against against Buffalo.
Speaker 4 (23:48):
But where do you sit on those on those two receivers, I.
Speaker 1 (23:52):
Mean, I think personally, I think Higgins is great, and
he just finally passed Davie or Hutchinson in snaps and
routes last week. And I think, you know, going into
next season, I think Kirk is gone and Nol is
your slot guy there, so they've got Metchi, So I
don't think Tank Dell is coming back at one hundred
percent at any point. So I think that these are
(24:15):
the three guys. I think it's going to be Nico, Higgins,
and Nol. I side on Higgins more because he's getting
more experienced right now. That slot role could be nice
for Nol though. What are your thoughts on those two
wide receivers in Houston, FITZI.
Speaker 2 (24:34):
That both guys are terrific, really like them, both, very
excited about them both. I think the Texans did a
great job. I don't know how to different well, obviously
they're much different types of receivers, but like Nol's athleticism
just pops off the screen, and I'm just really mad
at Nick Kayley that he continues to waste snaps on
Xavier or Hutchinson and Kristen Kirk. Like it just infuriates
(24:56):
me that Hutchinson and Higgins sort of split those what
Z receiver snaps and that Noel and Kirk share the
slot snaps. It's just infuriating to me. Uh, even though
I think I only have one share of Noel in
a dynasty and don't have any of Higgins, but I'm
still mad those guys are not getting the opportunity they deserve.
Speaker 1 (25:19):
They need improvements on the old line and they need
to switch Schultz out for a blocking tight end. I
feel like you have good options receiving, so why don't
you help that old line a little bit and get
a massive tight end in there over Schultz and then
throw to the speedy guys like I think. I think
that's how they'll shift next year too, So we'll see
if that actually comes to fruition. But those are the
(25:41):
three guys for sure moving forward.
Speaker 2 (25:43):
That's a good point, man, they'd they'd be better off
at the Drew sample like Sultz draft.
Speaker 1 (25:49):
You, Darnell washing Man, Yeah, do that. So I'm with
you for sure on that. So all right, thank you,
Jackie boy. Great questions, my friend. Good stuff, and and
enjoy the rebuild. It's gonna be fun. And once you
get there organically, that team is going to pop off
and you're gonna love it and you're gonna dominate too
because you're doing it. You're doing it the long way.
(26:09):
It's hard to do it that way, but it's more
fun and you get a longer life when you do
it that way on the top of your team. So
great stuff, Jackie, appreciate you, my friend. All right, let's
see who is up next. We're gonna have Chinser up next.

Mike gis me to there we go.
Speaker 6 (27:10):
Think you never rebuilds. Yeah, I went from bradgick loss,
which I've shared on this podcast before the championship last year,
to going full rebuild this year. I was like fighting
for a playoff spot, probably could have made it, but
I was like, I don't want to be the Steelers, sorry, Bogs.
(27:31):
I was like, if I'm not gonna win at all,
I'm like, let's blow this thing up. So I shipped
Javonte for twenty seven first, Derrick Henry for twenty seven first,
and much to my buddy's chagrin, I shipped Justin Fields
to somebody who's probably not used to the dynasty streets
(27:51):
for a twenty seven first and second.
Speaker 2 (27:54):
So lord, oh wow.
Speaker 7 (27:56):
That was.
Speaker 6 (27:56):
That was after Week one against the Steelers were and
I think he had drafted cam Ward, so it was
I was like, if there's ever going to be a time,
it's now. But I just don't think he you know,
I don't think he knew the situation where if the
Jets didn't go like eleven and six, that Fields was gone.
So I'm sitting on four first rounders for twenty seven.
I mean, my team is gonna be My team is
(28:17):
like literally nobody. I have like no serviceable running back,
so it's gonna be the Jeremiah Smith waiting room over here.
I could not get rid of AJ Brown for something
I liked. I had a twenty six first, buy the
first place team in ear league right now, and then
a twenty seven second. But as much as I would
(28:37):
love to not have to watch AJ Brown anymore, I
was like, I just can't give away a talent and
a bad situation for that. Do you think that was
a fair ish deal or do you think I made
the right decision holding onto Aj?
Speaker 1 (28:49):
What do you think, FITZI? Is that is that a
fair deal? Would you have? I think I might have
taken the twenty sixth What was it? It was a twenty
six first and a twenty seven second, yep, I mean
I think that would be okay because there are actually
going to be a couple wide receivers in this draft.
Not I don't know that it's going to be crazy deep,
(29:10):
but Makaia Lemon, Jordan Tyson, Carnel Tate, Denzel Boston, those
are all pretty good options, So maybe I would have
done that. What are your thoughts, FITZI, yeah, so a
twenty twenty I'm sorry, what were the picks again?
Speaker 2 (29:28):
Twenty twenty six first.
Speaker 6 (29:30):
And twenty six first and a twenty seven second from
the top team in early league right now?
Speaker 2 (29:35):
Yeah, so I assume a late twenty twenty six first
and a twenty twenty Yeah. I mean, I think it's
a fair deal. I understand the inclination to maybe wait
until aj Brown's value is a little higher, because right
now it's probably at low EBB with him complaining about
not getting enough targets and the Billy passing game really
(29:58):
just sort of disjointed all year. But I do I
do think that was a pretty fair offer kidsir and
I like, if it's still on the table, I mean,
you could totally reconsider it, go back, maybe you get it.
I agree with Bogs. I mean, they're gonna be some
good receivers worth having. Chris what's his name on Louisville Boss? Chris?
(30:22):
What do you think? Yeah?
Speaker 1 (30:23):
Spell, Yes, have you seen the kid? From Rutgers. Yet
Ian Strong he had a good game the other day. Yes,
Jeremy Bernard from Bama. We've got Antonio Williams from Clemson.
Uh this uh Dame kid Malachi Fields is coming on.
Like there's some there's some decent wide receivers down there. Uh,
that'll be I think that class is pretty decent. The
(30:48):
running backs.
Speaker 2 (30:50):
Uh there's song one Man, One Man class.
Speaker 1 (30:54):
Yeah it's Jeremiah Love and then a bunch of Maybies
right now. So yeah, uh yeah, running back seems somewhat
brutal this year. But why does so? I'd be okay.
Speaker 2 (31:07):
Yeah, but I think we both agree that's a fair
offer for a J.
Speaker 1 (31:11):
Brown. Yeah it's okay.
Speaker 2 (31:14):
Yeah, I just couldn't.
Speaker 6 (31:14):
I had a deal with what I was sending to
the Hampton manager A J. Brown and Kamania Vidal for
a twenty seven first and that fell through, and I
was I just couldn't get my mind around adjusting off
of getting that nice, delicious twenty seven first with five
twenty seven first, and I was like, yeah, it was
too it was too late. It was like it was
(31:35):
like Friday that it broke down. I was like two
days to figure it out. For the trade deadlines. I
was like, I'll just see what happens, but totally. And
it's also the person is one of my buddies that
took over an orphan team that was last this year
or last year and is now first this year. And
I told her when she I thought she was going
to be in a full rebuild and then she got Agbuca,
who you know has been a stud and so I
(31:57):
told her when we were going in, I was like,
do not like, do not take any twenty six first,
only take twenty seven first. And now I ended up
being the one trading and she's like, yeah, you told
me not to be up twenty seven first, so it's
not gonna happen.
Speaker 2 (32:11):
I've bought myself in.
Speaker 6 (32:15):
But itself, I know it was a tragedy. But another
player that I have that is is interesting to me
on his value, which I'm assuming i'll get a contract,
is I have Daniel Jones and my other two quarterbacks
are Josh Allen Burrows, so I can definitely afford to
move them at some point. I didn't know when the
(32:35):
best time to do that was. I figured this off season,
as long as the Colts don't absolutely collapse which is
always possible.
Speaker 2 (32:42):
Yeah, I don't.
Speaker 6 (32:45):
I think it's a contract. Maybe it'll be worth it,
because I feel like everybody's still kind of like it's
kind of like the Sam Darnold of Blast, where people
are like, he looks good, but it doesn't seem like
he's gonna have any staying power. And I think it's
a contract and attached to Stike and maybe but you
think his peak value is probably already passed.
Speaker 1 (33:00):
It might have, but if he has a good finish
to the year, you're gonna get more for him. So
I don't mind you waiting, especially like you said, you're
in a rebuild here, so I don't mind waiting and
seeing what he has and taking the chance because if
he finishes off the year is like you know, QB
six or seven fitsie, that's going to hold a ton
(33:22):
of value in the off season because the Colts will
absolutely give him a long term extension.
Speaker 2 (33:27):
Right, Yes, And now it seems like there is a.
Speaker 8 (33:33):
No.
Speaker 2 (33:33):
It seemed like before it was gonna be kind of
a Remember off season when we were talking about the
musical chairs and how there might not be chairs for
a couple of quarterbacks. I think there are gonna be
more chairs than quarterbacks in this offseason. Yes, with the
class we've got coming in. So like Daniel Jones is
going to be a starter somewhere next year. And it's funny, I.
Speaker 1 (33:53):
Mean too, like he's at least going to be in
a competition, not on the Colts. I think I think
they get rid of him for cheap.
Speaker 2 (34:00):
I was just curious about the values, like, and we
we have it. So we haven't updated the fantasy pros
trade values in a couple of weeks, and so we
haven't accounted for you know, like Daniel Jones fumbling six
times over the last two weeks. I'm looking at keep
trade cut. Oddly enough, Daniel Jones a J. Brown are
(34:21):
like the same age and almost the same dynasty value
according to that they actually have. They actually have Daniel
Jones valued higher and slightly higher than A J. Brown,
very similar values in both guys, and Daniel Jones is
(34:42):
slightly older. They're both twenty eight, but they're like within
a month or two of each other.
Speaker 6 (34:48):
Man, Jeez, that's crazy.
Speaker 2 (34:52):
I know, I know, super flex man. That's exactly at
the price you got to pay for quarterbacks. Sometimes you
got any.
Speaker 6 (35:00):
It's so funny about those those two players. As our
startup was last year and people snatch quarterbacks up quick,
so my second and third quarterbacks I ended up picking
Redfields and Jones.
Speaker 1 (35:11):
And I mean.
Speaker 6 (35:12):
Last year their value is terrible, and now this year,
their value, I mean, Fields is still terrible. I guess
I just flipped them for something that was good. But
what a difference a year makes. It's it's it's wild.
Last question is I know we talk about the running
back age Cliff a lot, and I know it probably
depends on their play style, but is there like a
gen like a consensus like age Cliff for wide receivers,
(35:35):
is it really like a Tyreek Hills is going to
be younger than like a Mike Evans because of the
way they play?
Speaker 1 (35:39):
I think, what is it like twenty six for rbs
and twenty eight or twenty nine for wideouts? FITZI yeah, more.
Speaker 2 (35:46):
Like I'd say Cliff is more like twenty seven for
running backs. For wide receivers, I don't. I don't think it's.
Speaker 1 (35:52):
Until thirty thirty thirty one, okay, yeah, yeah, so just
they do just last a little bit longer. They don't
have to take all those hits, you know, they don't
touch the ball, they don't get the volume.
Speaker 2 (36:02):
So yeah, look at DeVante Adams. Immy, he's what like
thirty two and still pretty good. But yeah, thirty thirty
is things the warning the fuel light starts flashing at
thirty check engine.
Speaker 1 (36:17):
Unless you're Mike Evans, then it's however old he is
right now thirty five or whatever. So uh, exceptions to
the rule, but they are very very rare. So got it.
Speaker 2 (36:28):
Well, appreciate it, guys.
Speaker 6 (36:29):
That's all I had. We'll see you guys in twenty
twenty seven.
Speaker 1 (36:33):
Right their friend see it. Let's see who is up
now we've got catalysts. What's up? How are we doing?
Cat looks like you.
Speaker 8 (36:42):
Hey, guys, how you doing?
Speaker 1 (36:44):
We got you good?
Speaker 8 (36:46):
I'm doing well. I'm just like riding high after going
three to zero. My all my fantasy leagues, two of
them Dynasty Nice go. Yeah. So right now I'm in
second place contending in Super fleg twelve Team Premium, and
right now I'm just having a little bit concerns on
(37:06):
like the last stretch of the road. My current quarterback
room is Drake may Rogers and Flacco. So just one
of the issues I'm having is if if I mean,
if Rogers can still would like produced like moderately in
the remaining schedule for my championship run, just that's like
(37:30):
a QB spot.
Speaker 1 (37:31):
I think I think he'll be okay. I would say,
you know, you probably want to have Mason Rudolph just
in case he gets hurt again or does have to
miss an extended period if you can get him off
the wire. But I think I'm okay with Rogers kind
of keeping what he's done. If you're not expecting much
more than that, I think I'd be okay with it.
(37:52):
What do you think, FITZI.
Speaker 2 (37:55):
Yeah, if you could acquire Mason Rudolph, I don't know
if he's a roster. He was actually unrostered in one
of my Dynasty League's bogs. I just put in a
bid on him, believe it or not. Yeah, And so
it's it's worth sort of closing the back door on
that Rogers. It's been weird with just the low average
(38:18):
depth of target on all his throws and all the
all the yak the Steelers are getting. I think he
can make it work to the point where he's like
kind of just a functional like low end QB two
for you. The good news is that Bogs. With your
Steelers taking care of business against the Bengals last week,
I think it makes it that much less likely that
(38:39):
the Bengals bother bringing Joe Burrow back, because like now,
if they don't win their next two games, they really
have no chance of the playoffs. And what is the
point of bringing Joe Burrow.
Speaker 1 (38:51):
Back next week? Not this week, but the following week
is like the date that he has pointed out that
he wants to be back.
Speaker 2 (38:58):
Oh yeah, that's that's right, week thirteen, So or I forgot.
Speaker 1 (39:00):
I mean, I mean, but it doesn't mean he's going
to and your your point is still valid, right, Like,
I think he's if the Bengals, but they might push
him back.
Speaker 2 (39:08):
I think he comes back no matter what I do.
Speaker 1 (39:10):
I think they want to get him in just before
the end of the season to get his confidence going
into camp next year. He's had a lot of these injuries, right,
so I think just being on the field is better
for him at this point than.
Speaker 2 (39:22):
Man they'd be. They're three and eight. If they lose
this week, they don't have Jamar Chase and.
Speaker 8 (39:28):
Like chases out too.
Speaker 2 (39:31):
Yeah, they have an offensive line that can't protect him, so, like,
for your sake, I'm hoping that the Bengals just like
discretion is the better part of valor and they decide
not to bring him back. But we'll see. I suppose
if a player wants to come back and yeah, rejoin
the team. It's pretty rare for themes to just take
(39:52):
the long view like that and put guys on the shelf.
But I guess there's at least a chance that could
happen and you still have flack Er down quarterback.
Speaker 1 (40:00):
It should be Burrow. You should put them in bubble
wrap for the end.
Speaker 2 (40:03):
Of the year now, right, But yeah, that's what I'm thinking.
Speaker 1 (40:06):
But I don't think they do. You know, teams they
want their guy out there, you know, it does. It
affects sales and ticket sales and future ticket sales and
all that stuff. So I think they're gonna have Burrow
out there. But I think you're right, fits, So I
don't think it's week thirteen. I think it's week fourteen.
So and then it's hard to trust Burrow. You know,
(40:27):
in his very first start back off this injury, are
they rushing in blah blah? So is he rushing himself?
So tough one to know what else you got for
us catalysts.
Speaker 8 (40:38):
Uh yeah, I kind of want like, Uh, it's been
a while since I've made this trade. So what I
did is because I've frontloaded like a lot to get
like twenty twenty six picks just because I'm more into
just like the draft that would be coming next year.
Because and I gave up like twenty twenty seven first.
So let me just put it in a perspective for
just to help you with my window move, I trade
(41:00):
away George Pickens and I got George Pickens and a
twenty twenty seven I think sit forth for after trading
away Troy Franklin and twenty twenty seven first, which I
believe was going to be high and which should be
and for a future of stash I did. I traded
(41:21):
for Totten for a twenty twenty seven second. So I'm
just really thin at my twenty twenty seven picks was
just my third and fourth round. But in twenty twenty six,
I have two first and two seconds, and I think
at an extra third. So I just wanted some context
as far as how you grade like that future outlook.
Speaker 1 (41:42):
I would prefer to have the picks in twenty seven Obviously,
how we've been talking about this class is not super positive,
but you have time to work on that. So I
think just if you're rebuilding, getting getting any picks is
good because picks are kind of your magic box of
you know, hey, this could be anything, you know, kind
of what's the family guy quote FITSI, where he's like,
(42:04):
I don't want to take the bat, I want the box.
Anything could be in there, even a butt, you know.
So I it's nice to have those picks when you're
rebuilding because people will want them and covet them, and
you can get more than their worth at almost any point.
You know, people are mad trading for twenty seven picks
right now. We think that's the right move. Right now,
(42:25):
we would recommend it. We are recommending it. But you know,
we thought this twenty six was going to be a
good quarterback class, and it is now turned into what
might be a miserable quarterback class, or at least a
you know, a quarterback class where a lot of guys
have to sit and learn for a couple of years
before they get in there. So things change swiftly. So
(42:45):
I just think acquiring picks if your ship is sinking
is a smart way to go no matter what you're
there in. So I think you're still doing okay, I agree.
Speaker 8 (42:55):
Yeah, because I've mainly thought of like flipping pickets back
for that until he's seven first back, especially like if
he gets back signed to a new team and they
view him as a wide receiver.
Speaker 2 (43:06):
One.
Speaker 8 (43:06):
Plus, I have like strong foundational pieces with triviaon JSN,
Ted Agbuka and Tyler Warren.
Speaker 1 (43:15):
That's a good team. Yeah, you're not off, so like
I like having the picks closer here because you might
be able to just fill in a couple missing cracks
and now you're a playoff team. So uh yeah, I
think you're doing a great job, Catalyst. So keep it
up man, good stuff.
Speaker 8 (43:30):
Yeah, I'm really just hoping for whatever rams draft as
far as like next year as far as quarterback. I
think that's what I'll try to like make my move on.
Speaker 1 (43:39):
Yeah, that's that's a good strategy. They've got a lot
of good pieces. You get your next rock party in
LA if you just have someone competent so smart moves. Catalysts.

(44:23):
It is Jab? What's up Jab? How we doing? My friend?
Speaker 9 (44:27):
How's it going?
Speaker 1 (44:28):
Fellas going great?
Speaker 2 (44:29):
What do you got? What's up?
Speaker 8 (44:31):
Now?
Speaker 9 (44:32):
My first thing I want to say is bogs I
was wrong about Caleb Williams.
Speaker 1 (44:35):
I was just gonna say he's tenth in points, so
you know, he's so still but the fantasy points are okay,
so true, very very true.
Speaker 9 (44:46):
But yes, that's the first thing I wanted to bring up.
And then the next thing I was gonna say is
I made a trade and you guys don't be in
my trades. Someone to talk about this first, because it's
taxed my wide receiver even more. I traded away, uh, Ja,
Corey Crosskett, mart uh Elick. I can't say the last.
Speaker 2 (45:04):
I am J Brown.
Speaker 9 (45:06):
Yep a J Brown on the twenty twenty six second
and I got Justin Jefferson.
Speaker 2 (45:11):
Oh good lord, yep, hold run that.
Speaker 9 (45:15):
I'm not so now for my wide receivers, I have
Justin Jefferson, Ceedee Lamb, Drake London, t Mac, Jalen Waddle,
Xavier Worthy and injured.
Speaker 1 (45:26):
Is clearly Yeah. I'm struggling, man, what a struggle.
Speaker 2 (45:31):
I'm just yet Justin Jefferson for a handful of magic beings.
I can't believe it. I mean, I I love I
a manner, but yikes, like, what are we doing? I
am man Or Crosskey Merritt, which who's not panning out
a second? And sorry, Jeb who was the last guy?
Speaker 1 (45:48):
AJ Brown is okay?
Speaker 2 (45:50):
But come on, oh okay, he's he's okay, but he's twenty
eight and a half.
Speaker 9 (45:54):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (45:54):
I think that's that's the issue. Like, oh man, I'm
amazed by that moment.
Speaker 1 (46:01):
I get. I think, and I think this is an
issue that we're facing right now. And this is what
I said on Out of Bounds yesterday, uh, is that
people are seeing the growing pains from McCarthy that we're
supposed to see early in the year, but he got hurt, right,
So I think people are down on the Minnesota offense
right now because McCarthy hasn't looked great yet, but he's
(46:23):
still learning right right, Like, I think there's going to
be a marked improvement by the end of the year,
and then going into next year with a full offseason
after all of this being hurt all your last year
and missing a chunk this year, I think it's going
to be wheels up for McCarthy going into next year.
So I think all those pieces are going to be
better as well. And I think that's why maybe you
(46:44):
were able to get Jefferson at a cheap price here
seemingly because people were McCarthy.
Speaker 9 (46:50):
It was that and it was a rebuild team, Okay,
he was trying to pieces one of the magic. So
now I have two questions. My first one is my
tight end position. I'm hurting. I have family Porter and
Dalton k and k both are hurt. Kinka's fighting injury.
I picked up Luke Musgrave last week.
Speaker 2 (47:10):
Ouch on the.
Speaker 9 (47:12):
Free agency, I have Dalton schu or Juwan Johnson, Noah
fense those are the best ones, going by the Fantasy
pros rankings.
Speaker 2 (47:20):
That there are no a J.
Speaker 1 (47:21):
Barner, No, okay Juwan for me out of that group.
Speaker 2 (47:27):
I actually yeah, And I was kind of dissing him
on some shows earlier in the year, but like he's
kind of with the Shiheed trade, he sort of moved
up the target packing order. He's been really reliable this year.
Like I have to hand it to the guy. If
it's if you're just looking for a one year patch jab,
I totally agree. Plus, you know, they're just they're more
(47:49):
there's more firepower wide receiver in Houston.
Speaker 1 (47:52):
Yeah, I don't from behind a lot too New Orleans
like every game, so that third and fourth quarter passing,
you know, it's just extra volume for Juwan. I thought.
I thought his reign like because he was real good
in the beginning of the season Fitzi and then Taysom
Hill came back and Fosston Moro came back, and they
started mixing these guys a little bit and started but
(48:14):
he was.
Speaker 2 (48:14):
Going to disappear exactly, and.
Speaker 1 (48:16):
Then he popped right back with like eleven targets or
eight targets or whatever it was the next game, and
he caught seven of them, and I was like, Okay,
they're not getting rid of Juan, and they did get
rid of Shiid, So uh yeah, I think.
Speaker 2 (48:27):
And Shuck has not been Shuck has not been bad. Like,
he's been good enough to like float the fantasy value
of like two pass catchers. And I think it's a
lave and Juwan he's.
Speaker 1 (48:38):
Been good enough for them to take O line or
D line first in the draft. I think, so yeah,
I think that's what again, that's good enough.
Speaker 9 (48:46):
Juan's the answer there. Now my next question I have.
This one's a little tricky. This is an off season question.
I have Jonathan Taylor on my team and he's tearing
it up this year. Do I offload him this offseason
and try to get a freaking hole for him? Because
time he went off the next year he was doodo
and this year he's tearing it up.
Speaker 1 (49:07):
I mean it would have to be just a massive haul, man. Like,
it's just hard to trade a guy when they're peaking.
I mean, he's, you know, on track to win the
MVP this year, so it's hard to it's hard to
deny that. But it is also when he's at his
most you can get the most for him. So let's
ask the Wisconsin guy that was a known Jonathan Taylor
(49:29):
hater coming into this year compared to me, Fitzie, what
do you think about trading JT in the offseason? Good
time to do it? Or if he finally stays healthy,
are we just going to say, Hey, he finally stayed healthy,
why are you trading him now?
Speaker 2 (49:44):
Yeah? I mean it kind of depends where you're at.
Jab If like you're trying to you know, if you
win the title this year and you're looking for the repeat,
obviously your odds better with Taylor than without him. But
I do sort of agree with your instinct to maybe
try to deal him as he moves into sort of
his late very late prime of his career and coming
(50:06):
off a year the first year in a few years
that he hasn't been bothered by ankle injuries at all.
So like the ankle injuries and that's kind of why
I aided him and only have him in like one
league this year. It's that I was just I was
kind of worried about the ankle issues, like they were
getting to the point where they seemed chronic. But he
(50:28):
has stayed healthy this year. Knock Wood. So I don't
disagree with your instinct to maybe try to move him
if you're not like pushing the chips in and going
all in for twenty twenty six, well.
Speaker 9 (50:41):
I'm already going all in ten yeah, ten and one.
And my other thing about it is I look at
JT and I think of Saquon Barkley from last year
and not having not near as good a year as
he did last year.
Speaker 1 (50:53):
Pretty fad front two though, So let's let's see what,
you know, how deep the Colts run is here?
Speaker 2 (51:00):
I get it. I mean like they are giving Taylor
a lot of carries, maybe not quite as many as.
Speaker 1 (51:06):
Yeah, yeah, jab, it is one hundred percent good process.
It's you know, you don't even have to trade them.
You can just put them on the block and say, hey, look,
I will listen to offers on Jonathan Taylor or somebody
wants to wow me, I'll listen. But you know, when
they limp in to try to get JT just got
to be like, yeah, we're not even close to you know,
so either send me something real or don't send me
(51:28):
this again. You know, some of those because you will
get low ball. Of course, because everybody wants to start low.
But it's it's good process, it's good instinct. As Fitz said,
to at least listen and see what your league may say,
because someone might be super frustrated at the running back
position and to say, screw it, I'll give you two
first round picks and extra for him, and now you
got to start. You know, now we're in discussions and
(51:50):
negotiations at least doesn't mean it's going to work, but yeah,
you at least float them specifically with an active league
like you have. I think it's very smart.
Speaker 9 (51:58):
Okay, that was my other last question. Appreciate you guys
as always, And like I said, Bogs, Caleb Williams is
top ten for Fantasy points.
Speaker 1 (52:08):
I think we're both right because he hasn't been great,
but he's been performing for Fantasy. So, uh, you know,
I think we're both kind of right there. So but
I'll take a victory lap if you're gonna hand it
to me. Jab. I appreciate you, my friend, So all.
Speaker 9 (52:23):
Right, guy, you guys have a good one.
Speaker 2 (52:25):
You too, man, Let's see who would you before we
let's take our last two people and then there's one
question in the chat answer real quick, would you rather have.
I if you had your choice of guys guiding the
Steelers in their future, would you rather have Caleb Williams
or Jordan Love be their quarterback?
Speaker 1 (52:43):
I'd rather have Caleb Williams.
Speaker 2 (52:46):
I think I would too, and I'm a I'm a
Packer fan.
Speaker 1 (52:50):
Yeah that's why I was laughing you picked the Bears quarterback.
But yeah, I think i'd rather have Caleb. I just
think he brings a little bit more. But again, growing paints.
He's still very young. So uh, hochy, what's up, Hokey.
How you doing, my friend? Yeah, that's going going great.
How are you.
Speaker 2 (53:10):
How's it going with you with James Franklin as your
new coach? I'm pretty excited about it. Yeah, he's a
good coach. Now, I think he's I think he's a
horse's ass personally, but he's a good coach.
Speaker 7 (53:23):
Yeah. I've got a few I've got a few reservations
based on some things I heard a few years ago,
and uh, competing against our coaches and recruiting and and
so forth. But we needed a we needed to make splash.
Uh try to get this.
Speaker 2 (53:40):
So, yeah, he's right, he's a better human than that.
Speaker 10 (53:44):
Wund he's got he's got a great a great, uh
a really good uh great, I would say, recruiting history
background in the region.
Speaker 7 (53:55):
So I think that's gonna be a huge plus for us.
I'm excited about it. I think it's it's like it's
like I told some friends of mine this weekend, after
joining them to watch our said performance against Florida State,
and then this news broke, I said, well, I guess
I'll be keeping my tickets for at least another couple
of years. See what happens so on of the fantasy
So good news, bad news, good news. I'm nine and two,
(54:18):
pretty excited about that. My magic number to win my
division is won and guarantee a playoff spot. But I
feel pretty solid on third highest score. Unfortunately, the two
teams ahead of me are well ahead of me. They're
very strong. So while I'm nine and two and feeling
pretty good about things in that respect, I've got some
holes here and some concerns both short term long terms,
so I dropped my team. In the chat from I
(54:40):
took some snips off of the Fantasy Pro site looking
at the rest of the season and also from a dynasty
point of view, so you know, for rest of season.
I'm riding with Prescotten nixt I feel pill okay with that.
Nick has been kind of disappointing, but there's nothing else
there that I'm going to pick up. It's going to
do me anything in the short term. The running back
(55:01):
I got JT's I chat you guys just had previously
was interesting in terms of a strategy there. Obviously, I'm
ridding him as far as I can go. Finally seeing
Trebon come around, Chase Brown showing some lives, I feel
I feel good about those three guys before running back
perspective rest of the year. I've got Mason White and
Spears and Wilson and Tucker are available. Any moves you
(55:22):
have made there.
Speaker 1 (55:23):
What do you think, FITZI are you going to take
your boy Eugene Wilson or Sean Tucker maybe over Mason
or Spear.
Speaker 2 (55:28):
Manuel, Yeah, Manuel Wilson, Eu Gene. So I just I mean,
it sounds like the Jacob's injury is less serious than
maybe they first thought. So Max of one game, and
I don't think you're starting Wilson this week over any
of Taylor Henderson or Chase Brown. I don't. I don't
think he's worth pursuing, and I kind of don't think
(55:49):
Sean Tucker is worth pursuing either. I think we see
Bucky Irving either this week or next. And even if
we don't see Bucky Irving this week, you're not starting
to as part of a one two tandem against the Rams,
who have a really good run defense. So I don't
I don't think you're I don't think you're doing Oh
and you're already ever shot.
Speaker 1 (56:09):
Of White, So.
Speaker 2 (56:11):
Yeah, I don't think you're making any moves here.
Speaker 7 (56:16):
Okay, what about what about from a long term perspective,
Caleb Johnson's available. I don't really know what his outlook
is like, but uh, you know, pretty good draft capital there.
So from a long term dynasty perspective, would you consider
adding him? And if so, who would you drop?
Speaker 2 (56:34):
In that case, I'm deferring to the Steeler guy, Bogs.
Speaker 1 (56:37):
Yeah, I think out of any of these guys to drop,
it would be Mason for me, just because yeah, yeah,
they keep giving Aaron Jones the whole workload, which is
crazy because he keeps getting hurt. So it's bad strategy.
I don't know why they're doing it, but.
Speaker 7 (56:52):
You know, I'm going to use it. I'm going to
use a minute to voice my frustration about my league
mass Somebody was talking about training earlier. So I tried
to move Mason this week, and I offered the Bowers
owner Mason for Ferguson Jake Ferguson, okay, which which I
knew was a little in my favor, but not crazy.
Speaker 2 (57:08):
Yeah.
Speaker 7 (57:09):
He comes back and offers me as they are likely
in stay at. I said, no, I'm only interested in Ferguson,
and then he comes back and offers me Ferguson for
Travion Henderson.
Speaker 2 (57:15):
I'm like, can you oh jeez, come on, what are
you talking about? That is ridiculous, way too much.
Speaker 7 (57:21):
That was the end of that negotiation. I'm like, you
wasting my time now.
Speaker 1 (57:26):
Yeah you can uh hear. That's Ferguson for Travion is absurd.
I would take I would probably take your Your backs
look good. You have three solid ones, two decent backups
in white and spears, so I think you can kick
Mason to the curve and speculate on cale. I would
do that.
Speaker 2 (57:45):
The thing is, even if Aaron Jones broke his leg
this week, like, you're not starting Mason over Taylor Henderson
or Chase right.
Speaker 7 (57:52):
So so moving on and we're running short on time here.
My biggest, biggest concern is my wide receiver rooms basically
an infirmary, as you can see looking at my list.
Garrett Wilson, BTJ, Travis Hunter, Piarsol. I did pick up
Alec Pearce, who's been really strong for me a couple
of weeks. I played him by last week, but I'm
(58:14):
gonna have him back in the lineup this week. Uh
As far as from the other three Piersoll, BTJ and
Rashid and Shaheed, we'll see, we'll see who can who
can stand upright by the time the game stars. I
don't know what really to do there. But long term,
do you guys see anybody there's there's There's not a
lot on our way wire at all, So I don't
(58:35):
I mean, some of the guys I have on my
team aren't exciting, but I don't really see much there
that I can go get that's gonna do anything for me.
Speaker 1 (58:43):
Yeah, go ahead, Finzi.
Speaker 2 (58:46):
I was just gonna say short term, I would throw
Parker Washington overboard. I know he's had a nice little
run here. I don't know what the long term value
is I'm not too bullish on him for for Mooney,
Like I'm I know, Moon has been bad and he's
probably not been healthy since like the summer, But I mean,
could we maybe get Boggs the same sort of little
(59:08):
bump and man, I know, like Kirk Kirk Cousins, Like,
I'm not sure that dude could break a window with
one of his throws anymore. I'd like, could we get
the same sort of bomb for Darnell Mooney that we
got from Michael Wilson in week eleven?
Speaker 1 (59:22):
Yeah, it's definitely possible. I think Pitts gets an uptick
as well. I think Algier is gonna get an uptick
because I think you might see Beijon in the slot
a little bit more as well. I also think, like
you know, you could pick up Booty and just see
what he has till the end of the year and
drop a guy like DK. I do like DK, but
I think I would rather have Tesla over him a
(59:44):
long term. I think I'd rather have Kyle Williams over
him as well. So I think he's another guy that
you can drop, But I'm with fits as Parker Washington
probably be the first guy I drop as well.
Speaker 7 (59:55):
Yeah, I should. I should have listened to advice. He
told me to drop uh she White last week and
pick up Michael Wilson.
Speaker 9 (01:00:03):
I did.
Speaker 7 (01:00:03):
I did pick up Michael Wilson. Unfortunately, then Pierce All
was activated and I played him instead. And you know
he was activated. That is to say he was on
the field. That's about about it.
Speaker 1 (01:00:13):
He was and he was second in snaps two, which
is weird. By the way. I do have to give
Pat fitzmore as his flowers because every time I forgot
about Alt Pierce in the off season, I would I
would list these. I would say, I think the Colts quarterback,
whoever it's going to be, is going to be good
because of these weapons, and I wouldn't say Pierce, and
Fitz would correct me and add Peers and he's been great.
(01:00:34):
So I just want to give you.
Speaker 2 (01:00:37):
So quick Nelson.
Speaker 7 (01:00:40):
Yeah, tight end, a tight end long term. I was
hoping kN K was going to be that guy, but
he just can't seem to stay healthy. Managed to grab Schultz,
but there's just not much out there in the waiver wire.
I'm thinking more long term now, I'm gonna have to
live with what I have for this season. But some
of the guys that are available roo strange. I notice
(01:01:00):
fits in the in the chat you mentioned, Terrence Ferguson
is somebody you're looking at. Anybody there you would try
to grab the stash for down the road.
Speaker 2 (01:01:09):
I mean, the only thing is, like I'm intrigued by
Terrence Ferguson because his athleticism like really pops off the screen.
And there's gonna be no value this year even with
Tyler Higbee hurt just because they're they're using these three
tight end sets, so it's kind of obscured when he's
running out there with like Davis Allen and Kobe Parkinson.
(01:01:31):
So like there's no value this year. Like I wouldn't
drop either Kincaid or Schultz for him because I think
you kind of need that one two punch now the
Kincaid is not fully healthy, and I'm not sure if
I feel excited enough about Ferguson to drop one of
these other a running back or a wide receiver, you
(01:01:51):
know what I mean.
Speaker 1 (01:01:52):
Let me homer out FITSI I actually have a couple
for you here, but yeah, big wash. Darnell Washington has
been leading this dealers in snap percentage now for the
rest of this year. I don't know, right, maybe maybe not.
But John who's gone after this year, and they're using
him more than they use Friarmuth right now, So he's
(01:02:13):
he's gotten a higher snap percentage than Firemouth. Now granted
he mainly blocks, but every tight end mainly blocks. So
seventy one percent for him, forty six percent for Friarmouth
this week. Last week it was, uh, Firemouth had one
more snap than him, But the week before it was
more washed, the week before that it was more wash,
and in week six it was way more washed. So
(01:02:35):
I think Washington, if they use him better, could be better.
Uh noah, great, If Travis Kelsey retires, he's already been extended.
He's going to be their guy. So those two and
then you know, if a Conco is gone, I would
throw a dart at Gunner Helm as well. He's been decent.
He is way behind those other guys. But washingerstand for us,
(01:02:56):
one of those guys.
Speaker 7 (01:02:57):
So Washington on at one play it looks like a
scene from the block side. It really, Oh my goodness
that he was I'm throwing I'm left and right.
Speaker 2 (01:03:06):
It looked like that was just like that was out
of a movie that was crazy nute.
Speaker 7 (01:03:12):
I guess, appreciate it. Let's always take care.
Speaker 1 (01:03:13):
Of hecky, appreciate its hokey, take it easy. I have
one more chatter and then we have one in the
audience to answer. So CFC, you're up last. What do
you got my friend?
Speaker 4 (01:03:26):
Well, what's up, guys?
Speaker 1 (01:03:27):
What's going on? Not much?
Speaker 11 (01:03:30):
U took a tough loss this weekend, so just on
the outside of the playoffs. But I just sent my
roster and everything in the group here and looking to
flip Colston Loveland potentially. So one offer that I've gotten
was Luther Burden and a twenty twenty six mid to
(01:03:52):
late second, and then I thought about countering that potentially
with uh Burden and Tootin for Loveland, and then I
would add a third or four fift needed next year.
So between those options, is there one you prefer more
or do you both seem relatively fair?
Speaker 2 (01:04:11):
Or yeah?
Speaker 11 (01:04:12):
I just want to get your thoughts on that.
Speaker 1 (01:04:13):
So give it to me one more time. It would
be you give away Loveland and a pick and you
get back Twoton in a pick. Is that what it is?
Speaker 11 (01:04:21):
So the first one would be I give away Loveland
and get back Burden in a twenty six second probably late.
Speaker 2 (01:04:31):
I think that's fair.
Speaker 1 (01:04:32):
I think that's fair, and that's a good deal.
Speaker 2 (01:04:33):
I like the deal. I like the deal too.
Speaker 1 (01:04:35):
Yeah. Yeah, because you already have McBride, you have Mason
Taylor and Andrews backing him up. You're doing great at
tight end, so you give yourself burden for you know,
maybe not even for the rest of this year, but
for the future and a shot. I think that's fair.
Speaker 2 (01:04:52):
Burton's time is coming CFC like he could be the
Aman Ross Saint Brown and Ben Johnson.
Speaker 1 (01:04:57):
Just push Zakias out of that job this week.
Speaker 11 (01:05:00):
So yeah, yeah, I've been anxiously waiting for that takeover,
so I'm trying to get in while I still can, basically.
And then the other ounder I was thinking about was
he has baseball Tutin as well, So I was thinking
about doing Burden and Tutin for Loveland and then maybe
(01:05:20):
adding like a third or fourth On.
Speaker 1 (01:05:21):
My end, I would make it a fourth. I don't
think you'd have to pay much more than that. But
what do you think, would you or would you rather
have tutinzi.
Speaker 2 (01:05:34):
I'd I think I'd rather have Tutin, But I honestly
I don't know if the other person is doing that trade.
Speaker 1 (01:05:42):
Okay, maybe if.
Speaker 2 (01:05:43):
You like, if you threw in, you threw in a third.
I don't know if that, you know, if that gets
it done. Maybe I don't know. I guess I don't
know what the.
Speaker 1 (01:05:52):
US upside is because where would you where do you
have among tight ends right like four?
Speaker 2 (01:05:58):
I could be I could be wrong. Maybe maybe I'm
over valuing Touton just because he showed a little spark
last week and then, you know, immediately rolled his ankle.
So no, I guess actually, I take it back. That's
that's fair. It's it's worth offering, and I would rather
have Burden and Toutin. I think i'd rather have the
(01:06:18):
second deal. But I like the first deal well enough
for you. I think they're both pretty good deals. Same.
If the other person won't do the Toton deal, I'm
totally cool with just taking Burden in the second. Yeah, awesome,
sounds good.
Speaker 11 (01:06:33):
Appreciate you guys.
Speaker 1 (01:06:34):
You got all right. You said there's one in.
Speaker 2 (01:06:38):
The gym, Yeah, just this one in the chat bogs.
So the question was, let me find it here? Uh,
this is from a dub. Who are some trade targets?
To Trent Snag before the trade deadline. I'm more more
thinking of guys with huge upside for this year and
possibly next year you can get for a pick or
(01:07:00):
player like an example could be Luther Burden or Matthew
Golden type player that won't cost much but would be
a good staff. I don't know if this is I mean,
it's it's almost phrase like it's a redraft question, but like,
let's pretend it's a dynasty question, Bogs. Can you think
of any targets? I thought of Terence Ferguson, who has
you know, little starting value right now, but I think
(01:07:21):
has shown enough that he has me excited for his future.
Isaiah Likely is one, okay, who was actually running as
many routes as Mark Andrews has been, just isn't getting
many targets. But I think they're both going to be
free agents this here, Bogs. And yeah, I don't know
if either guy has been extended, So either Andrews has
(01:07:44):
gone and likely is the number one tight end for
a quarterback who loves his tight ends or likely gets
to go somewhere in free agency and be the number right.
Speaker 1 (01:07:52):
I feel like I remember right before the season they extended,
likely because I think all off season they're both free agents.
Speaker 2 (01:08:00):
And then Worm was talking about that being the rumor.
But I don't know if I'm gonna I'm gonna look up.
Speaker 1 (01:08:06):
Yeah, I'm going can now, so let me look.
Speaker 2 (01:08:10):
And of course Bog's like I recommended. You know, it's
always good to go after injured guys if we're talking
about Dynasty like Cam Skattaboo, I mean, especially if you're
talking about a team that's Travis Hunter. Yeah. Yeah.
Speaker 1 (01:08:22):
By the way, he is a free agent after this year.
He did not get extended, so I was maybe maybe
I was reading the rumor and I just stuck at
my brain. I think you could get Worthy for less
than he's worth right now, you get uh if Pearsaw
has another bad game, I think you get Pierceaw for
cheaper than he's worth right now. Guys like Noel Wright
Higgins any interest in Are you at all FITSI? Or
(01:08:48):
is he just dead? Do you think.
Speaker 2 (01:08:51):
I was thinking about him the other day? Yeah, I
mean worth a shot. I don't think he comes back
this year, but maybe healthy, and he is really out
of sight, out of mind, so I think that's a
good pick. I didn't think of him, and that's yes, absolutely, yeah, absolutely,
that's another really good one.
Speaker 1 (01:09:11):
Yeah, I'm going I'm just going down my dynasty list here.
Let me see if I can find you any running backs.
Caleb Johnson knew we mentioned before. I think is a
good one. Get in early on the Blake quorum train
wouldn't be bad. What about Braylan Allen is banged up
right now? Another good target?
Speaker 2 (01:09:29):
Yeah, yeah, wow, good list, bogs glad. I glad to
be answered this. Yeah, standing goods. I think that's enough
name so we can say job well done. Pat ourselves
on the back here with that question.
Speaker 1 (01:09:43):
