Speaker 1 (00:01):
Welcome in everybody to Fantasy Pros. This is the Fantasy
Football Podcast. It is me Joey p Joe Pi Zapia,
and today we are going to take a look at
some Dynasty bilows and sell highs. This is that perfect
time with the NFL Draft around the corner, the combined
behind us and rookie drafts on the horizon, to take
a look at some of the assets that we might
(00:21):
have on some of our long term rosters, what we
can move for them, what we could get back for them,
and who should be going away far far away from
any of the rosters we have. Now could be the
time to really make some big changes that could impact
you positively in twenty twenty six and to help us
identify some of those pieces, Scott Bogman, Pat fitz Morris
two of our gems from the Dynasty Podcast. And of course,
(00:43):
if you're watching this on a Fantasy Pros feed, don't
forget you can also watch it on the Dynasty feed
as well. We've got our own channel now for Fantasy
Pros Dynasty, so make sure you check that out. Subscribe
on the YouTube channel to Dynasty Fantasy Football over here
at Fantasy Pros and of course to the podcast feeds
for everything as well. Gentlemen, is a really interesting time
of year, right because we hot off the combine very
(01:05):
excited about all the prospects we're doing, all the mock
draft shows, all that stuff's going on. But Boggs, this
is also a great time to start evaluating the rosters
that we have. It's starting to make some maneuvers to
see what kind of picks we want to acquire in
twenty twenty six and beyond, what kind of players we
think might be assets and undervalued right now.
Speaker 2 (01:21):
One hundred percent. I mean, it's a great time to
kind of reevaluate. And look, you know, all the mock
drafts are pretty fun until free agency, and then after
free agency it's like, okay, now let's look for some
accuracy out of these these mocks. Right, So it's going
to be a fun time, a great time, and it's
a good time to evaluate your team, take a look
at who the free agents are, who's kind of solidified
(01:42):
in some of their spots, who is maybe wavering, maybe
guys going to sign there that could impact their futures.
So it's a good time to kind of go in
a sneaky time to buy and sell.
Speaker 1 (01:53):
Well, speaking of sneaky here, we're gonna start with the buys,
and we're gonna start with the running back. And FITZI
is coming out of the game hot because this guy,
I mean, it's certainly a bye high. I mean, it
might be the highest his values ever been in his career.
And FITZI, you're still buying this guy. The last game
that we had of the twenty twenty five Slash twenty
twenty six NFL season, this guy ended up with a
(02:16):
big award. So let's talk about Ken Walker and why
you think he's a bye despite the fact that value
is it an all time high.
Speaker 3 (02:23):
It is a bye high, Joe, But mainly it's because
I don't think he's gonna wind up going back to
what was kind of a frustrating spot for him last year.
So Kenneth Walker ranked twenty eighth in PPR points per
game during the twenty twenty five regular season, as good
as that playoff run was. Zach Charboney was the Seahawks
designated goal line back and cut into Walker's regular season
(02:46):
workload to some degree, but then sharbonay towards acl early
in the Seahawks first playoff game, and Walker went completely
nuclear during Seattle's playoff stretch, better than one hundred rushing
yards in Seattle's three playoff games, one hundred and thirty
nine yards from scrimmage per game, four touchdowns. But the
Seahawks did not tag Walker, they did not give him
(03:08):
the franchise tag, so they're gonna let him test the market.
And you know, Seeattle is a decent amount of cap space,
but the Seahawks probably are going to sign Jackson Smith
and Jigba and Devon Witherspoon. It's big contract extensions at
some point in twenty twenty six, so maybe they don't
splurge on resigning Walker. And you know, if they let
(03:30):
Walker m walk.
Speaker 4 (03:33):
And uh, he is a.
Speaker 1 (03:37):
Man.
Speaker 3 (03:37):
So if he gets a bigger workload with some other
team and maybe isn't getting poached at the goal line
the way he was in twenty twenty five, or if
he comes back to the Seahawks, at least he would
figure to be workhorse early in the season while Sharbonnagy
works his way back from the knee injury. So either way,
I think we're going to see a value increase for Walker.
And yes, he's not going to be cheap now. But
(03:58):
I don't think you're like Walking in any blind spots.
If you buy him now, I think his workload's gonna
be bigger and the role is going to be better
than it wasn't twenty twenty five.
Speaker 1 (04:07):
All Right, you used two puns when talking about Walker.
Third one. You're out. We have to I'm just telling
you right now. So let's talk about what that price is,
because I imagine it's pretty high. Right, We've been talking about
that performance. We've been talking about eye opening to a
lot of other NFL franchises, but also the fantasy managers
as well. So what would it take to get Ken
(04:28):
Walker in terms of players picks? Like, what's a combination
in your head to make that deal happen.
Speaker 3 (04:32):
So, I know a lot of people are expecting a
breakout season from Marvin Harrison Junior and think it's imminent.
And I think you know our trade value charts. I'm
not sure about our trade value chart. I know some
of the other ones in the market have Marvin Harrison
Junior valued higher than Walker.
Speaker 4 (04:48):
I would give up Marvin Harrison Junior straight up for
Kenneth Walker right now.
Speaker 3 (04:52):
I won't even think twice about it, especially with the
possibility that Malik Willis goes to the Cardinals and then
you're going to see passing volume plummet, Like the Cardinals
led the league in pass attempts last year. That's not
gonna happen if Malik Willis is their quarterback and you've
also got Trey mcbriden Michael Wilson there. So I'd give
up Marvin Harrison junior forum. I think I'd give up
Zay Flowers for him. That seems like kind of an
(05:12):
even exchange, all right.
Speaker 1 (05:14):
Yeah, Actually the Zay Flowers maybe throwing like a fifth
round pick or something like that. Maybe too swinging up
a little bit if you have to. Let's talk about
a running back that you want to buy, Scott Bogman.
Who is that guy for you that you've circled.
Speaker 2 (05:25):
Yeah, it's Chase Brown. And I know there's some worry
about Love being in the Bengals vicinity during the draft,
but I can tell you things that's that long bog
number one, he ain't last pass. I think he gets
picked at three. I think the Cardinals take him at three.
So I don't think he's gonna make it to the Bengals.
And even if he did, with them not franchising Trey
(05:46):
Hendrickson and letting him walk. They have to do what
the Panthers did last year. I feel like all their
money that they have in cap space, all their draft
picks need to be spent on the defensive side of
the ball, and if they are been on offense, they
need to be fixing that O line that you cannot
draft skill position players out of this class for this
team that already has better skill position players. So you know,
(06:09):
Chase Brown last season tenth in touches. He was seventh
in points per game in PPR, which is most nicety
leagues for running backs, seventh points per game, seventh in
total points as well, and he's ranked as RB twelve.
Now that's where I have him as well. I think
there are better backs than him still, but this dude
has had increasing touches for three straight seasons. He was
(06:30):
over three hundred this season and tenth in total touches.
So he's twenty five years old, he's in the prime
of his career. He's on a good offense with the
defense that still has to outscore. That has to have
their offense outscore the opponent because the defense is as
sif they can't stop anything. So I'm adding Chase Brown
if I can pretty much at any point, and I
think the price point on him. And let me ask you, FITZI,
(06:55):
who would you want in this draft over Chase Brown,
Jeremiah Love?
Speaker 4 (06:59):
Is there a player, oh, running back? Good lord?
Speaker 2 (07:02):
Any player? Is there a wide receiver you'd want over him?
Would you take like Tate Lemon in Tyson ahead of
Chase Brown? That's fine, but that still is only four players.
Speaker 1 (07:12):
I think I would. I would. I don't know where
fits he is, but I think I would, especially depending
on landing spot. How about you, It's close.
Speaker 4 (07:19):
I think the value is close.
Speaker 3 (07:20):
I mean I just because Brown is a couple of
years into his career and wide receivers generally age pretty well.
I think I would value Tate Lemon and Tyson just
a little bit higher than Chase Brown.
Speaker 2 (07:32):
But it's in the ballpark and nobody else for sure,
right Like I Sadiq ends up maybe in his dream
scenario of like Philly when they trade AJ Brown or
something right like, something like that, I could see. But
I think for the most part, your top four or
five picks in the rookie class, if you're not picking
in that group, I would trade that pick to get
(07:54):
Chase Brown in a non super flex.
Speaker 1 (07:56):
Well, Bogs, let me put this to you. Would you
rather have an early second round twenty twenty six pick
or Chase Brown?
Speaker 5 (08:01):
Right?
Speaker 2 (08:01):
I think that's early twenty twenty six or Chase Brown
is Chase Brown all day?
Speaker 1 (08:05):
Okay? What about late first round twenty twenty six Chase Brown?
Speaker 2 (08:09):
Okay, I'm telling you it after pick five. If this
isn't super flex, you know, just the picture work a
little more in super flex. Even so, it's not a
great quarterback class, right, yeah, one hundred percent. So, but
just yeah, I think post those top five or you know,
four or five players, to me, it's four and then
I want Chase Brown. So really, you could even say
(08:31):
it's one if you don't need a wide receiver. It's
just Jeremiah Love that you take over Chase Brown.
Speaker 1 (08:35):
That's it. The problem with the quarterback class is the
inexperience too, like Ty Simpson's you know what, fourteen games
as a starter or whatever it was, right right right.
The guys with that track record going into the NFL
is not good. I think the only guy to succeed
was Cam Cam Newton. But again his tools are kind
off the chart, So I don't know if that's a
good comp to you know, the fact that you know,
when guys don't play a lot of college games, they
(08:55):
typically tend to struggle in the NFL. You can go
through the list of.
Speaker 2 (08:58):
Got A clipboard holders in this Yes.
Speaker 1 (09:01):
A lot of guys with long NFL backup careers. Let's
put it that way, all right, Fitzy, Let's talk about
a wide receiver that you want to buy right now.
And as a guy that start off like gangbusters in
the beginning of the year and it faded dramatically in
the second half, and Mecca eg Buka talked to me
about his value in Dynasty going forward.
Speaker 4 (09:17):
Yeah, So with Abuka, I think this is maybe a
good time to move in before free agency because.
Speaker 3 (09:21):
The Buccaneers are not expected to resign Mike Evans, they
don't have a ton of cap room. They're in pretty
good shape at receiver even without Evans, with you know,
at BUCA Godwin, Jalen McMillan, a tes Tess Johnson, So
they they've got a lot of other needs. I don't
think they're going to add any wide receivers and they're
gonna let Evans walk. If Evans does in fact leave,
(09:45):
Abuka is gonna have a chance to establish himself as
the number one receiver in Tampa. And yeah, as people
are going to remember at Buka was a standout in
training camp last year and got off to a blazing
start five touchdowns in his first five games. He was
the i'd receiver three in PPR through the first five
weeks of the season, and then things kind of went sideways.
(10:06):
A Buka tweaked his hamstring in week six. He tried
to play through it but just wasn't as effective. Baker
Mayfield's performance kind of fell off after a hot start,
which might have been because the offensive line had a
bunch of injuries. I think things are going to look
a lot better for a Buk and we're going to
see something closer to the a Mecca Buka we saw
in the first five weeks of twenty twenty five.
Speaker 4 (10:25):
I think this is a good time to buy.
Speaker 1 (10:27):
What what a cost to get to make a Buka
in your opinion?
Speaker 3 (10:31):
Yeah, I mean I would trade James Cook for him,
and I think James Cook's value has never been higher
in Superflex. If I had a little bit of depth
of quarterback. I'd be willing to trade bo Nix for
a Mecca at Buka, and I would certainly give up
any draft pick in this year's rookie draft other than the.
Speaker 4 (10:52):
One on one or one oh two.
Speaker 1 (10:54):
I'd even say this is the guy that I If
you've got the one oh four and you're sitting there
and you don't love this class like Buka is a
year and you've already some success, I would I would
make that flip in a second.
Speaker 4 (11:02):
I mean, and I'd even consider the one oh two.
Speaker 3 (11:04):
Like if I didn't need a quarterback and it was
either Mendoza or Buka, I needed wide receiver help more
than quarterback, I might do that deal, although I'd probably
try to ask for a little bit more.
Speaker 1 (11:14):
Bobs, you agree with that evaluation of egg.
Speaker 2 (11:15):
Book absolutely one hundred percent of me. I still have
a mechag Buka at pick number twelve or a wide
receiver number twelve. Excuse me, so I have him as
a wide receiver one in this you know, currently in Dynasty.
And I also I think it's just like Chase Brown,
like the only player that I would guaranteed for sure
want over him in this class is Sharremia Love and
(11:37):
the fact that Mike Evan said he's going to test
the free agent waters Is could throw his targets through
the roof if Mike Evan signed somewhere else. So yeah,
I'm all about getting a mechag Buka. He I think
he's the best player on this byas list that we have.
Speaker 1 (11:53):
All right, let's go to another wide receiver here, Bogman.
All off season, there's been a lot of buzz about
Alec Pierce. It seems like Indianapolis could be in his future,
but then again, maybe not. We all know that the
NFL is a constantly moving animal. So what's their take
on Alec Pierce here in twenty twenty six and beyond.
Speaker 2 (12:12):
Well, I think, you know, he's just being viewed as
less than he should be. Right now. He's currently ranked
as like a wide receiver four. I believe I think
his ECR would be wide receiver forty three. I have
him at thirty four, so I see him more as
a wide receiver three. And the performance with Daniel Jones
(12:33):
was great last year. Obviously, you know they've had a
lot of struggling quarterback issues before this season, and then
Daniel Jones came in and was awesome before tearing his achilles,
But he put up his best weeks with Philip Rivers
in the last month of the season. Now I had
massive swings again like guys like Alec Pierce do, where
he was just you know, getting you close to the
(12:54):
donut and then a wide receiver one performance, and then
another donut and then a wide receiver one performance. So
inconsistent with a guy like Philip Rivers. But I think
the ability to put up those big numbers has become
such a red zone threat that he has become, and
a deep play threat. You know, he's always going to
be a little bit less valuable in a PPR league
because he's just not a guy that's going to get,
(13:14):
you know, one hundred catches in a season. But I
think if you view him as if he's being viewed
as a wide receiver four, wide receiver five, somewhere in
that range, and he's more of a wide receiver three,
there's value there to be bought, and I kind of
I think he can be successful in most places. He
is not one hundred percent completely quarterback proof. I don't
think anybody is justin Shefferson proved that last year, right,
(13:37):
But I do think if you perform with Philip Rivers
and his you know, the ghost of Philip Rivers past
or whatever he was not, he was a bad armed
quarterback at this point. So if you can perform with him,
I think he's going to be able to go almost
anywhere and perform well.
Speaker 4 (13:56):
Bugs.
Speaker 3 (13:56):
You know, I am pro alec. I kind of think
he's the discount Jordie Nelson.
Speaker 2 (14:02):
But here's the butt.
Speaker 3 (14:05):
Would you would it dampen your enthusiasm at all if
it were the Titans who he signed with, because the
Titans have a ton of cap space and a pretty
barren wide receiver room right now.
Speaker 4 (14:15):
I mean they I don't know what.
Speaker 3 (14:17):
Calvin Ridley's status is, but you know last year was
Shamir d k and Alec ey amanor they could use
a veteran, you know, a veteran more gap.
Speaker 2 (14:28):
Space anybody either, right for sure?
Speaker 3 (14:30):
But yeah, you know, cam Ward and cam Woard played
pretty well over the last month, or at least much
better than he had. But the first few months of
the season were pretty alarming. Like, would it diminish your
enthusiasm at all if he signed with Tennessee?
Speaker 2 (14:43):
Not at all? Actually, I kind of think Tennessee would
be a good landing spot for him because you know,
the thing that annoys you about cam Ward would be
really good for Alec Pierce. FITZI. Cam Ward holds the
ball too long, so if he's getting, you know, an
extra step on that dB because cam Ord is holding
the B. He's going to have some big, big plays
for Tennessee if he does land there, and they have
(15:04):
a lot of cap space, So that is a very
decent landing spot for him. I think I'd be more
concerned if he went to like Pittsburgh. You know, we
don't know who the quarterback is there. Dk Metcalf kind
of does the same stuff that Alec Pierce does, and
it's probably going to continue to be run first offense
the way the offensive line has been built. So I
think there are other places that Alec Pierce could go
that be worse than Tennessee. I actually think Tennessee would
(15:26):
be an okay place, Fitzi.
Speaker 1 (15:28):
I'm not gonna lie the quarterback that you've tagged here
for a buye. I absolutely love was a guy that
I was in on last year in just the redraft leagues,
and I feel like we're starting to get back to
the elite level of this player potentially soon, especially if
he has a little bit healthier offensive line. In twenty
twenty six, Let's talk about Justin Herbert, what it's going
to take to get him on your roster and why
(15:48):
you want to buy him in Dynasty.
Speaker 4 (15:50):
Yeah, it's going to take a lot.
Speaker 3 (15:51):
He's by no means a buy low, but I think
it's worth making an offer for Justin Herbert, even though
it's not easy to buy good established core in Dynasty.
But Herbert is gonna get offensive tackles Joe Alt and
Rashaun Slater back from injury. He's gonna be throwing a
lad McConkie Quinton Johnston, Ronde Guetzt in the second and
(16:12):
second year guy Trey Harris. Herbert's gonna have Mike McDaniel
as his offensive coordinator, which is exciting. And here's where
maybe the pre free agency by target angle comes into play.
They're only nine teams with more than forty million dollars
in cap space according to spo track. I don't know
if that's totally up to date as of now, but
(16:33):
last time I checked, which was like a day ago,
there are only four NFL teams with more than eighty
million dollars in cap space. The Chargers have eighty four
point nine million, fourth most in the league, and they're
not far behind the number two Commanders in number three.
Raiders Titans mentioned earlier are number one with a bullet
with about ninety million. So Herbert the reason he might
(16:56):
actually be attainable. Like his first three seasons in the league,
his yardagehotals ranged from about forty three hundred yards to
fifty one hundred yards last two seasons, has not reached
four thousand yards first two years in the league, thirty
one TD passes as a rookie, thirty eight TD passes
in year two, hasn't thrown for more than twenty six
TD passes in any of his last three seasons, and
(17:19):
yet his passer rating, his YPA, some of the other
passing metrics suggests he's been just as good, if not better,
than he was in his first few years. Again, not
that I think anyone is down on Justin Herbert and
looking to ditch him, but I do think maybe you know,
he's attainable with a very generous offer. Bottom line, I
think the Chargers are going to buy themselves some interior
(17:41):
offensive line help, which they need badly. Like the play
they got from their center and guards last season was
just abysmal, and that's going to change. Like I think
of what the Bears did last year when they bought
themselves an entire interior offensive line with Joe Thuney and
Chris Dahlman and Jonah Jackson. And I think the Chargers
are going to do something s Himler this year, and
(18:01):
that's going to set up Herbert for a big bounce
back season. What would it take, Joe, I'd tread Ceedee
Lamb for Justin Herbert. If I needed QB help, I
would give up Trey McBride for Herbert in a super
flex league and a heartbeat.
Speaker 4 (18:19):
And I know that some trade value.
Speaker 1 (18:21):
Going to tighten premium one.
Speaker 4 (18:24):
I'd consider it.
Speaker 3 (18:26):
I just I think we probably just saw the best
season Trey McBride is ever going to have.
Speaker 1 (18:31):
I would possibly agree with that, certainly his values at
the peak. Let me throw this one out you. This
is a little outside the box. This time last year,
everybody was talking about how good the quarterback class of
twenty twenty six is going to be. And we have
Arch Manning and this guy and only guys and a
lot of guys didn't either come out or perform very well.
Would you leverage, say, if you had a late first
(18:52):
round pick this year with a first pick in twenty
twenty seven, not knowing how that's all going to shake out,
Like we all think it's going to be good. We
can all hope that it's gonna be good and work out,
and all these quarterbacks that we're excited about end up
playing well in college, staying healthy, having good years, and
then being top draft stock. But would you do that
for Herbert who still got his prime years ahead. I
feel like it's something worth considering if you had like
(19:13):
a late first this year and then at twenty twenty
seven first, and then keep all the players you have
and try to win now with.
Speaker 3 (19:18):
Herbert look man in super flex quarterback is the name
of the game. I think I would give up a
twenty twenty seven first, even if I was sort of
on the come up and that first round pick could
potentially be I mean, I'd be a little heartsick about
it if it turned out to be the one on
one and Jeremiah Smith, But yeah, I think I would
(19:39):
make that trade fair enough.
Speaker 1 (19:41):
All right, let's get to a quarterback that Bogman has
his eyes on to buy. He's been a very popular guy.
Malik Willis, Bogwin. Let's talk about what it would take
to acquire him and why you want to purchase. I
assume based off of what you saw in some limited
starts this year for the Green Bay Packers. Yeah.
Speaker 2 (19:56):
I won't put anyone else through my Jase McCarthy red here,
but look, Arizona is the rumor. The Cardinals have Trey McBride,
they have Marvin Harrison, they have Michael Wilson, They still
have James Connor and Trey Benson on that line. They
have the number three overall pick that might be there
for Jeremiah Love, and I think they're gonna fix up
(20:16):
that offensive line and spend a lot of draft picks
on defense as well. Soft perfectly reasonable to sit and
wait right and see where Malik Willis ends up before
you go and trade for him. But the only game
he finished with more than eleven pass attempts we saw
him hit QB three for the week he had that
was Week seventeen against Baltimore, two hundred and eighty one
(20:37):
yards in a touchdown and also two rushing touchdowns and
sixty yards rushing on nine attempts. This dude can win
with his legs. He can pass the ball well, and
he's learned a lot after sitting and waiting behind Jordan
Love the same way Jordan Love said and learned behind
Aaron Rodgers. And you know he's gonna go. He's gonna
sign somewhere to go and start. Pittsburgh's the rumor of
(21:00):
the Jets, the Cardinals, there's Miami. There's so many teams
that absolutely needy quarterback. So I think wherever he ends up,
he's going to be a pretty good value. I don't think,
and I think Fitzi will be with me on this.
I don't think i'd give up a twenty twenty seven
to one from Elik Willis just yet. Right, Like, I know,
(21:20):
quarterback is the name of the game, and we're right there,
I would in a super flex, I would give him
up for anyone that's not Jeremiah of as Is. As
has kind of been the theme here. You know, with
this current draft class, there's a lot of talent in it,
but you know it's it's not next year's draft class,
and there's proven talent in the NFL. So I think
(21:44):
I would rather have Malik Wills than the rest of
the rookies, but in a super flex in particular. But
it is the upside. The upside's there, it's waiting for
him to take it. He has to unlock it. Maybe
this could be a bust, but I think from what
we saw out of him, I'm really excited. I'm a
Steelers fan. I want them to sign him. Don't think
(22:06):
it's gonna happen, but I'm I'm really hoping for Aaron
Rodgers to make a retirement decision so the Steelers can
give him the full court press. Here I should have
been who they draped it over picket by the way.
Speaker 1 (22:16):
But well that's fair. It also feels as though, yeah,
who knows that they could have developed him and how
that would worked at sure, because they would have to
throw him to the wolves the way they Pickett did
basically too, so it might not have been the best situation.
This path for him to, you know, might be the
right one. Lafloor and Love might have been the best
case scenario for him. But I will say this too,
I think every year there's always that one quarterback of
(22:38):
one guy that people are like, oh, this is like
the trendy guy, right, I think the dangerous don't overpay
for Beleague Walis too. Would you agree with that sentiment
because there is a lot of unknown still. I know
he's a quarterback. I know quarterback is king in the
super flex dynasty, but gotta be.
Speaker 2 (22:49):
Everybody thought they knew what Daniel Jones was, right, and
so no one paid for Daniel Jones, even me. My
My thought process was, let's give Anthony Richardson this job.
Was like it and see what happen happens here, and
it didn't work. Daniel Jones took it and ran with it.
Kind of you know, so kind of like that situation.
I would say the Arizona situation is very nice for
(23:10):
a quarterback, right. Malik Willis is the big rumor right now.
But I might be interested in whoever ends up taking
that cardinal shot because the weapons are there. But I'm
also interested in wherever Malik Willis ends up because there's
a lot of talent with this guy. And if he
is going to run, and if he goes to an
OC that will let him run, he could have a
(23:31):
massive impact on the quarterback market.
Speaker 1 (23:33):

Let's take a look at the cells, Scott Bob Mean,
why don't you go first here with the running back
(25:20):
Josh Jacobs. Why is it time to get out from
old Josh who's been pretty steady for the pack these
last couple of years.
Speaker 2 (25:27):
Man, he really has been. And this isn't like necessarily
a you have to trade Josh Shacobs. This is just
in in typical running back fashion, this is the last
time you're going to be able to get probably enormous
value for him. Maybe next year he turns twenty twenty nine,
but that transition year of twenty eight to twenty nine
(25:47):
is typically where running backs start to lose some steam, right,
And Josh Jacobs has played through everything, and we saw
him play through everything this year and he was still awesome.
But the dude has had over two thousand touches in
his career twenty one to nine exactly, and this might
be the last time to get a good haul for him.
There's also a weaker running back class coming in through
(26:09):
the draft, so there's not as many options to pick
up and run with through the draft this season. So
I think that this year, with the weak draft class,
you know, there's some guys that may get jobs in
the free agent market, but I don't think anything that
is anywhere close to what Josh Shakops is. So this
is probably the last time that you have to go
(26:30):
and get peak value for Josh Shakops. That's why it's
not that I dislike him. I don't think he's gonna
fall off a massive cliff or anything, but this is
typically when the guys do it and you can still
get a hall for him. So if you want to,
you know, avoid that falling knife and all of that,
this is the time to go ahead and trade Josh
Shacops and try to get your roster a little bit younger.
Speaker 1 (26:51):
Well, he's gonna be twenty eighth this year, so theoretically
there should be at least another year or two there,
so I can understand. I would think Boggsy ideal team
is a you're shopping him to a team that can
win now, right right like that, that's the best case scenario.
You're looking around for a roster in your league. With
a team that's that you think is gonna be very
competitive this year, and you take draft picks or you
take guys or works in progress that you think are
(27:12):
gonna better long term investments. So yeah, I could see
that going through. All right, let's talk about a running
back that FITZI wants to get rid of before it's
too late. Fitzy, who's that guy for you?
Speaker 3 (27:23):
Yeah, we've been doing some big game hunting with the
buys themselves to this point. This is more like low
level swap meet stuff. But like, if I've got jackry
krossky Merritt, I would be willing to see what I
could get for him. Because right now, the Commanders only
have two draft picks in the first four rounds of
the draft. They don't have a second round or fourth rounder.
(27:45):
But Washington does have a ton of salary cap space
third most, and I think they're going to or maybe
second most, sorry, I think they're going to sign a
free agent running back. I don't think they're going to
draft Jeremiah Love when they've only got the limited early
round draft picks. And if they sign a pre agent
running back, be it Tyler Algier, even someone like Aaron Jones.
(28:08):
I think that further blocks Jack Cory Krosskey Merritt, who
was already losing early down work to Chris Rodriguez last season,
even though some of the efficiency metrics for old Bill
were sneaky good, like success raid and yards per carry.
But I would cash him in for a younger receiver
who hasn't really popped yet, like Trey Harris, maybe Tory Horton,
(28:33):
and I'd probably even take a late second rounder for him. Heck,
could probably even take a twenty twenty seven to third
for Jack Cory Crosskey Merrit.
Speaker 1 (28:43):
Yeah, it definitely seems like Washington is to look somewhere
else at that running back position. We already had some
running back movement this offseason. Two David Montgomery's already moved
on to a new spot here via trade with the
Houston Texans. So it's gonna be interesting. I think there's
a lot of RB little chess game getting play here
right there. So those are two running backs the guys
are looking to sell. Let's talk about a wide receiver,
(29:04):
Scott Bogman launch kick us off.
Speaker 2 (29:06):
Let's go with Courtland Sutton another age concern here for
but also the Broncos are likely to add some talent.
They don't have a lot of needs in the NFL
draft right now, they don't have a lot of needs
and free agency. This team was very good. I think
maybe a backup quarterback should be on their list of
things they need to buy after watching the AFC title
game here. But the one position they have that I
(29:29):
think a lot of people are mocking for them is
a linebacker. Well, if they sign a linebacker, now it's
kind of just take BPA and they could take a
wide receiver. They could sign a wide receiver I think
Franklin and Bryant should improve, but a speed weapon like
Casey Kncepcion, Chris Bell, something like that would pull targets
away from everyone. Courtland Sutton just turned thirty, right, so
(29:52):
we're getting into another guy that this might be the
last time where you can get massive value for him
if they add another wide receiver who's younger, faster, Like
if they would have added at BUCA last year, he
would have been the wide receiver one for the Broncos, right, Like,
I don't think that that's really a question. So I
love Courtland Sutton. He's done a lot of good for me.
He's been a cheap buy that has provided you way
(30:14):
more than he's given you. But if you this is
kind of the last stop. I feel like, if you
want to get good value for Courtland Sutton, this is
the last time you're going to be able to trade him.
Speaker 1 (30:24):
Well, I think like Jacobs too, it's always good when
you're trading a guy in a situation where he's still
playing well, you know before you miss that window. So
if you're out a year or too early, okay, well whatever,
you know, it happens sometimes, but it's better than being
out a year too late. And these guys on value,
especially if you can figure that out. So if you're
trying to cover your bets right now, make sure you
(30:45):
draft some wide receivers and look to move on from
Courtland Sutton. Next guy in the list, another guy who's
getting a lot of buzz this offseason, certainly was a
busy boy because everybody else around the New York Giants
wide receiver coor got hurt. So let's talk about Wandell Robinson, Fitzie.
What fits in terms of for you moving on with him?
Speaker 3 (31:04):
Yeah, So dynasty leagues are typically PPR leagues, so people
pay attention to reception totals, and Wandel Robinson has had
more than ninety catches each of the last two seasons.
Speaker 4 (31:15):
He's had exactly one hundred and forty targets in each
of the last two seasons, the.
Speaker 3 (31:20):
Last year a career high oney fourteen receiving yards, and
Wandale had I think the best possible runout he could
have had with the Giants the last two seasons. In
twenty twenty four, it was basically Wandal, Malik Neighbors and
no one else catching passes from Daniel Jones, and last year,
Neighbors gets hurt early. Wandal has sixty six more targets
(31:41):
than anyone else on the Giants last year. So now
he's a free agent, sounds like the Giants are not
interested in re signing him. I think it's inevitable that
wherever he goes, Wandell Robinson is going to see major
target share slippage in twenty twenty six. So if anyone
is still, you know, transfixed by those ninety catches the
(32:02):
last two years, like, I think.
Speaker 4 (32:05):
It's a good time to sell.
Speaker 3 (32:07):
And I wouldn't even you know, I'm not holding anyone's
feet to the fire for Wandell Robinson like I'd even
I'd take Zach Charboney coming off the ac Altar. I'd
take Dalton k Anyone, Dalton Kincaid, I'd take Kincaid even
though his usage is kind of suboptimal in Baltimore.
Speaker 4 (32:23):
Heck, in a super flex league, Joe, I.
Speaker 3 (32:26):
Think I would even gamble on Scott Bogman's boy JJ
McCarthy for Wandell Robinson straight up.
Speaker 1 (32:32):
Well, look, I mean sometimes there's just principal buying, right,
like where a guy's stocks rock bottom, like Anthony Richardson's
another one of these guys too, where it's like, yes,
buy it, buy it. Because I'm not saying that these.
Speaker 2 (32:44):
Guys cheap, even if he even if they never kind
of doesn't.
Speaker 1 (32:48):
Cost you anything to be wrong, but for some reason
they figured it out, especially because they're so young still.
I mean, both those guys like you just kind of like,
you know, you just wait a little longer and see
maybe they land in a good situation where they start
to develop a little bit better. And you know, look,
Baker Mayfield at one point was a rock bottom by
you know, Sam Donald was a rock bottom. Buy Now,
I'm not saying either of those two guys are ely
(33:09):
as talented as J. J. McCoy. You take that shot
for cheap, right, Yeah, take that shot. Baker Mayfield much
better prospect. Same thing with Sam Donald even but it's
it's the theory of it, and it's gonna cost even
less that did buy those guys.
Speaker 2 (33:21):
And I think if you go back to that question
that FITZI asked me about Alec Pierce, right, like, Alec
Pierce going to Tennessee, would that bother me? Not really
because of the way Alec Pierce plays. If Wandale goes
to Tennessee, now I'm I'm pretty concerned for him, right, like,
because you're gonna have Tennessee. He's gonna draft some wide
receivers as well. We know that. I think smir d
(33:43):
k could take another step up. But that now you're
competing with DK for these slot touches, right, because that's
what Wandale is. He's a slot merchant. So if he
goes to the Jets, Garrett Wilson is there and easily
you're number one. If he goes to the Commanders, they
have Terry McLaurin, right, these are the team with money.
Speaker 4 (34:01):
Your Steelers need a slot guy, Bogs.
Speaker 2 (34:03):
Yeah, how often are they gonna throw to them as
often as Calvin Austen probably got the ball. So yeah,
there are many many scenarios that I would dislike for
Wanda Robinson to end up in. You know, he worked
well with Milik Neighbors, so maybe he could work well
with a number one like Arret Wilson. But who's throwing
them the ball with the Jets? So you know, I
think I'd rather have Russell Wilson and Jackson Dart throwing
(34:26):
me the ball. Then whoever's gonna be slinging it for
the Jets unless it's Malik Willis this.
Speaker 1 (34:29):
Year, all right, So there you go. Those are wide
receivers and running backs. And remember when you're trying to
make these moves, use the tools. Don't be a tool.
The trade analyzers there for you all off season long.
So if you make a two for one dealer swapping
a couple draft picks for a stud player one of
these buys that we're talking about, use the draft tools
that we have here. Use the trade tools we have here,
Fantasy pros. The trade analyzer will help you optimize your
(34:50):
rosters so you can make the best decisions and you
can check it out right now in the Fantasy Pros
app or you just go to fantasypros dot com slash
my playbook to use the trade analyzer again. All the
tools here for you drafting for your rookie drafts in
a couple weeks around the corner, everything's gonna be here
for you. So make sure that you again sink your
leagues for free. Use all the tools for dynasty and
for your redraft leagues too. All right, let's close things
(35:11):
out here with the QBS to get rid of here.
Scott Bogman's a big name here, a guy who's been
really good the last couple of years in fantasy. Obviously,
last year was a little bit of a disappointment for
this team collectively. So even in super Flex, you're willing
to part with Jalen Hurts. This might cost a lot
of people some draft capital.
Speaker 2 (35:30):
I think, hey, look there there's a theme with the
players that I picked for this cell, right, and it's
this is kind of the last time you can get
a big haul for these guys, I feel like, and
Jalen Hurts might be that way this season. He's gone
from quarterback two in twenty twenty three to quarterback eight
in twenty twenty four to Q you be ten in
(35:51):
twenty twenty five. Tell me how he's declining and that
is going to get better if they trade AJ Brown,
which seems inevitable at this point, or if.
Speaker 1 (36:00):
They banned the Toush push.
Speaker 2 (36:01):
Yeah, I don't think that's gonna come up again. But
I mean that could run out of steam, right may
maybe people learn how to stop it, or at least
the offense could run out of steam a little bit
if you don't have AJ Brown here. I just don't
see world where this quarterback Jalen Hurts improves without his
best target, and AJ Brown is his best target. Who
(36:23):
are you bringing in? Like, you know you trade up
for carnellal Tat's not AJ Brown, right, Like? There are
there are guys that are going to replace him, but
right now on the roster it's DeVante Smith. You also
are losing Dallas Goddard, right, so you have two awesome weapons.
Speaker 1 (36:40):
Still.
Speaker 2 (36:40):
You still have Dvante Smith the Heights been winner. You
still have Saquon Barkley, a guy that is MVP caliber,
right but had a down year because there's so many
touches in twenty twenty four plus the playoff run, I
think will be better in twenty twenty five. But is
that gonna make Jalen Hurts that much better? I don't
think so. So still a you know QB one even
you know, with the declining numbers that he has here,
(37:02):
we know the potential is very high because he runs
and because he gets those rushing touchdowns. I just have
a lot of concern if they trade a J. Brown
and try to replace him without signing or getting a
stud back. And I just don't see where that's coming from.
So I think right now is the last time to
trade Jalen Hurts and get a massive haul for him.
Speaker 1 (37:22):
All right, So let's talk about that massive hall for
Hurts too, because it seems like you know that would
you seem like you could get a ton for him.
Speaker 2 (37:31):
I think what you said you got for Herbert you
could you could potentially get for Jalen Hurts, right like,
you know, sure, what do you think about? That fits
a late twenty six and then a twenty twenty seven
shot for Jalen Hurts? I think, Yeah, what about CD Lamb?
Speaker 1 (37:51):
You want to Cede Lamb deals?
Speaker 4 (37:54):
Yeah, Well that's.
Speaker 1 (37:56):
Another one though. That's another guy that's in flux a
little bit. I think the Bogbin's point too. If you
are on the other side of that and you're in
a rebuild and Hurts as your best piece, and you
feel like the last couple of years agoing in the
wrong direction a little bit, that is the draft pick
you you want as much as draft capital as you
can get in the first round of next year. Theoretically. Again, theoretically,
I said that last year, this time and again it's
(38:18):
lightning probably doesn't strike twice here and kill us. They
don't think.
Speaker 2 (38:22):
I don't think so either. There's so much talent in
next year's quarterback class, and I think they're going to
stay that way. So I think this is a time
to trade Jalen Hurts specifically if you're rebuilding and get
the best haul, because you want to get into that
twenty seven first round. And even if it's you know,
you're trading him to a good team and it's a
back half, Okay, Well, the glut of quarterbacks at the
(38:44):
top is going to push the talent down the board
to the late first round for you, So you're going
to get someone that you probably would have got in
the top five picks in the twenty twenty six class,
the twenty twenty four class or twenty twenty five class,
you're going to get at the back of the first here.
So the twenty seven classes theoretically second to none, as
(39:05):
every class is, but really this class looks stacked in
twenty twenty seven.
Speaker 1 (39:10):
All right, Fifthy, let's close out with another QB here.
You're looking at kind of seeing what you can get
on the open market.
Speaker 3 (39:17):
Yeah, Joe, just a few moments ago, you harken back
to the days where Baker Mayfield is a good by
low target and he was undervalued, maybe buried a little prematurely.
Now I think the Baker Mayfield pendulum might have swung
back a little too far in the other direction. I
tend to think he's a little overvalued. And I don't
want to be inconsistent with the advice here because I
(39:39):
mentioned a mecha Buk is a by target, and I
do think Baker Mayfield is certainly good enough to support
high end wide receivers. We've seen that with Mike Evans recently.
But hard to ignore how Baker mayfield season took a
downturn last year. And yes, part of that was the
Buccaneers have a lot of offensive line injuries, but Baker
(40:02):
was not playing well as the season went on. Good start,
but from Week seven on he averaged one hundred and
ninety five point eight passing yards a game in just
six point two yards per attempt, which is a pretty
alarming Bryce Young caliber number. Basically, he turned bad before
the leaves turned colors last fall, and now he's almost
(40:23):
certainly going to play the twenty twenty six season without
his favorite security blanket, Mike Evans. So might be a
good time to move on if you've got some quarterback
depth in super flex, like I'd be willing to take.
Tell me, if this is a light return for Baker
Mayfield to starting quarterback in super Flex, I'd take Harold
(40:43):
Fannin for him.
Speaker 2 (40:45):
I think that's fair. I mean, two years it could
be a little light, like I think. I think my
perspective it's a little light too. So at least ask
for a pickback at a second or third or whatever.
Speaker 1 (40:58):
His coaching regime coming in and fans got some question marks.
There were quarterback and coach and.
Speaker 2 (41:03):
Stems good with garbage quarterback play last year, so but.
Speaker 1 (41:06):
Who knows what garbage are gonna dig up in Cleveland
this year?
Speaker 2 (41:09):
It can't be worse than last year.
Speaker 1 (41:11):
It can't know what the Cleveland brown has been saying
that for twenty years.
Speaker 2 (41:15):
You're right, Just keep that in mind before I plan
a flag. You are correct about that.
Speaker 1 (41:21):
So yes, sorry, Cleveland Browns fans. I mean you're the
first ones to say it, so let's not pretend like
you're not wrong. But it is an interesting discussion. This
has been a great conversation. Make sure you drop your
comments below in the YouTube. Which one of these guys
are you buying, which one are you selling? Who your
favorite bilos? And sell highs in Dynasty. Right now, now
is the time to be making these moves because sometimes
there's some value to be had before NFL free agency
(41:43):
really kicks in the gear in you know, less than
twenty four hours from when they show airs, I believe.
And then on top of that, you've also got the
NFL Draft coming up, and guys are gonna land in
certain spots and it's going to change people's values artificially.
So make sure you again stay tuned to our Dynasty
channel on YouTube and of course subscribe over there, bring
the belt to Lick goes Ding, and of course subscribe here.
Fantasy Pros as well, and of course a podcast feed also.
(42:06):
That'll do it for us, but the story of the
game goes on for Scott Bogman and Pat fitz Morris.
I'm Joey P. We'll see you next time, kids, Happy trading.
