Speaker 1 (00:03):
Hello, everybody.

Speaker 2 (00:04):
Welcome into the Fantasy Pros Dynasty Football Podcast.

Speaker 1 (00:07):
This is the Trade Block.

Speaker 2 (00:08):
I'm Ryan Warmley, joined as i am every month by
Pat fitz Morris, checking in on all things Dynasty as
we always do. The first half of the show will
be us reacting to the latest updates to the Dynasty
Trade Value Chart that can be found at Fantasypros dot com.
You can just google Fantasy Football Dynasty Trade Value Chart
as well Fantasy Pros. It should pop up for you there.

(00:29):
So we'll run through some of those updates in the
first half hour of the show. Second half hour, we
will take your questions live here on Discord.

Speaker 1 (00:36):
They can be dropped in the chat.

Speaker 2 (00:37):
We will call up folks who want to come up
and speak as part of the audience and be a
part of the show as well.

Speaker 1 (00:44):
It'll look like it does most weeks. How are you
doing here? Fits?

Speaker 2 (00:46):
We are past the combine, so really truly fully into
draft season now.

Speaker 3 (00:51):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (00:51):
I love March and April on the NFL calendar where
we get the combine.

Speaker 3 (00:57):
Free agency starts.

Speaker 4 (00:58):
Soon thereafter, and and you know, after the first week
or two of free agency and things start to die down,
then we start the serious run up to the draft.

Speaker 3 (01:07):
So it's a fun time of year.

Speaker 4 (01:09):
Still a little chilly here in the Chicago area, but
this activity on the football calendar warms my heart.

Speaker 2 (01:17):
I do want to let everybody know before we dive
fully in that if you want a chance to win
a Colston Loveland signed Bears Many helmet for free courtesy

Now it's not just gonna be on the main Fantasy
Pro channel, so we hope you subscribe all over the
place if you enjoy the show and like being a
part of the conversation. Fits Before we act get into

(02:01):
the trade value chart. I do just want to quickly ask,
because we got some breaking news like an hour ago
that Kyler Murray is going to be released by the
Arizona Cardinals.

Speaker 1 (02:10):
This is somebody who at one point was a.

Speaker 2 (02:11):
Pretty highly thought of dynasty asset as a very mobile quarterback,
you know it, super flex was very valuable in the
most recent update of our chart, which came out a
couple of days before. So we didn't think that Kyler
Murray was going to be the Cardinals quarterback next year,
but we didn't have confirmation of it yet either. So
in that most recent update, Kyler was down at QB
twenty six in that trade value chart. So I do

(02:34):
kind of want to start with him as we loop
into the conversation here. What was your reaction to the
news that he is officially going to be released, you know,
not traded.

Speaker 1 (02:42):
I do think that's notable.

Speaker 2 (02:43):
Where do you think he ends up and do you
think he can make a climb on this chart depending
on where he lands.

Speaker 3 (02:50):
I think it was to be expected worm.

Speaker 4 (02:52):
It seemed like the Cardinals had signaled that they were
not going to move into the future with Kyler as
their quarterback. I was actually more surprised by the Chris
Dahlman retirement. I know a center retiring doesn't exactly cause
ripples in the fantasy community like a quarterback release, but still, yeah,

(03:16):
so I don't think it's that big a deal. It's
just a matter where he goes. The Jets have been
rumored as a possibility. The Vikings seem like they're rumored
to be in on just about any quarterback who doesn't
have a home right now. But I guess I don't
think it would have had any effect on Kyler's dynasty value, because, look,

(03:38):
he's going to start somewhere this year, and I think
we knew that. But the class of twenty twenty seven,
although I was sort of going back and forth with
some people on Twitter about whether it's all it's cracked
up to be, but it looks like a really good
quarterback class, and I think that's going to end the
tenures as NFL starters for some quarterbacks, and I think

(03:58):
Kyler is going to be one of those quarterbacks who's
starting status is going to be in jeopardy come this
time next year.

Speaker 2 (04:07):
Some of the names that Kyler is around in the
updated chart are pretty interesting to me. He has the
exact same value as Malik Willis, and we're very excited.

Speaker 1 (04:18):
About what Milik Willis could be.

Speaker 2 (04:20):
But Kyler has certainly shown a lot more just he's
had a lot more opportunity in his career that Milik
Willis has. Even if Willis did have a couple of
really you know, high point games in the last couple
of seasons, he's also just barely ahead of Ty Simpson,
who is somebody that you know. I think, for the
most part we don't really love as a quarterback prospect,
and if he was in a different class, would not

(04:42):
be getting first round consideration. So to me, I feel
like at that ranking, that is a bet I'm willing
to make if you can get him for cheap. I
don't want to spend up to get Kyler Murray. But
if he really is being valued as QB twenty six
in your league, I think that's reasonable just gamble to take.

(05:02):
And if he does end up in Minnesota, could be
a pretty productive season. We've seen that happen with other
kind of distressed assets going to a place with a
much better situation like Minnesota has in the past.

Speaker 1 (05:13):
Maybe he goes somewhere more unfortunate like the Jets. But
I don't know.

Speaker 2 (05:16):
I just look at looking at the names around him.
I'm willing to at least take a swing on Kyler,
even if I don't have a ton of degree of
confidence in what he's going to be three years from now.

Speaker 3 (05:26):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (05:27):
So I have m QB twenty seven, which is basically
in line with.

Speaker 3 (05:32):
The trade value charts.

Speaker 4 (05:35):
I unfortunately, it's not only my values driving this trade
value chart.

Speaker 3 (05:39):
I kid, but I've.

Speaker 4 (05:41):
Got Malik Willis pretty well ahead of Kyler. I've got
him up at twenty two, so five spots adad, But
I do have Kyler well ahead of Ty Simpson, who
I don't know if I see as a worthy first
rounder in the NFL draft this year, although I think
it's probably fifty to fifty, maybe sixty forty that he
does go in the first round.

Speaker 3 (06:00):
So I get it.

Speaker 4 (06:01):
Look for this year, Kyler is probably going to provide
some value because we know he runs. And I don't
know if the I don't know if the system in
uh Arizona with Drew Petsing was ever a great fit
for Kyler Murray, So I don't know.

Speaker 3 (06:19):
Maybe if the.

Speaker 4 (06:20):
Jets add a receiver, get someone like Jordan Tyson or
Carnel Tate with one of their first round picks.

Speaker 3 (06:29):
They've got a couple of them this year. I don't know.

Speaker 4 (06:32):
Maybe that could reinvigorate Kyler throwing to Garrett Wilson and.

Speaker 3 (06:37):
You know, a top three rookie receiver.

Speaker 4 (06:39):
But I just don't know what Kyler's long term future
is and whether he's going to be a viable NFL
starter beyond twenty twenty six.

Speaker 2 (06:47):
One more kind of Kyler thing I'll throw your way.
He's also He's tied with Malik Willis in the straight
value chart. He's also tied with Matthew Stafford. If you
were like, very definitively not a win now team, you're
clearly kind of in rebuild, you know, gathering asset mode,
and you had Stafford on your team, would you trade
Stafford for Kyler straight up and say, hey, like I'm
not competing anyway, let's take a swing.

Speaker 4 (07:07):
Yeah, I would, even though I don't know what the
odds are that Kyler starts in twenty twenty seven. At
least he's still going to be in the league, whereas
Stafford is probably looking at a one and done.

Speaker 2 (07:19):
This is the first kind of update to the trade
value chart in several months where we haven't had any
football happen outside of the super Bowl throughout the course
of the last month, so some of the you know,
you know, there's less like kind of big obvious changes here.
This next month, even without football, we might see some
more obvious moves because of free agency and things like that.
This is really kind of like a resetting, you know,

(07:40):
a chance for the guys who contribute to this chart
to kind of just sit back, take take stock of
the players, Like does this really want guys?

Speaker 1 (07:48):
Move them around a bit?

Speaker 2 (07:49):
So I want to kind of leave this very open
ended for you in terms of the direction we take
the conversation here on any of these positions really fits
because there's not these like huge, big major changes that
we simply must hit on.

Speaker 1 (08:04):
At the quarterback position before we move off it. Obviously,
Kyler had the news today.

Speaker 2 (08:08):
Is there anybody else that you feel like is really
worth saying, like, like, are you going against you know,
deebro and ericson on any of these guys? Are you
trying to plant your flag on somebody? What kind of
direction do you want to take in on the quarterbacks?

Speaker 4 (08:19):
Yeah, I mean just talking about some of the guys
who moved up in value a little bit, Trevor Lawrence.

Speaker 3 (08:25):
I get it.

Speaker 4 (08:26):
Like looking at his season, Yes, the overall numbers from
a passing standpoint, other than a an improved touchdown rate,
his passing numbers were really similar to previous years. But
when you look at the breakdown between first half of
the season second half of the season, he was on
fire in the second half and in the first half
kind of struggling to pick up the Liam Cohen system.

(08:50):
Maybe we didn't see him look really good. Plus he
was maybe playing with a really you know, injured and
ineffective Brian Thomas Junior who was dropping some maybe not
going all out for some balls that he could have caught.
So I think Lawrence, the slight bump he got in
the trade value chart update makes sense to me, and

(09:13):
so does Willis. I still think we're not high enough
on him, maybe because like this guy is going to
go somewhere, start run a lot, and provide a lot
of value with his leg So yeah, I think I
value him a little more than deebro and Erickson. Do
looks like Bryce Young moved up. I don't know the
basis for that one, So yeah, not a lot of

(09:36):
movement overall at the quarterback position. Did I ask you
the Fernando Mendoza versus cam Ward question? Which of those
guys you would prefer in Dynasty?

Speaker 1 (09:47):
Not that I recall being asked.

Speaker 2 (09:51):
I think I would prefer Ward, but I wasn't prepared
for the question, and they change my mind if I
think about it further.

Speaker 1 (10:01):
My gut reaction shooting from the hip is Ward.

Speaker 3 (10:05):
Yeah, so I prefer Mendoza.

Speaker 4 (10:08):
It's interesting that we have Mendoza worth like ten points
more in super Flex, and I'd like, I think it's
closer than that.

Speaker 2 (10:17):
But you know what, actually, sorry I cut you off.
I actually would prefer Mendoza, just giving it a few
more seconds of thought. The differentiator differentiator being Clint Kubiak
as his you know, I know who what his play
caller is going to be long term, and I think
he's going to be a really good fit with Kubiak
as his play caller as opposed to Ward now has
a defensive head coach. I'm not entirely sure how I

(10:40):
feel about, you know, Dave all regardless, but you know,
either way, if he is very good, you would think
he would get another opportunity to be a head coach
and not be around for the long term. You know,
war doesn't have anybody like brock Bauers that he's going
to be throwing too.

Speaker 1 (10:52):
So I think given.

Speaker 2 (10:53):
That, even though I think I probably liked Ward a
little bit better, just ever so slightly as a number
one pick, I think I like the situation Mendoz isn't
enough more so that I would have him slightly ahead.

Speaker 3 (11:05):
Yeah, that's fair.

Speaker 4 (11:06):
Now, I don't know if there's a ten point gap,
and you know, like I don't hate day Ball as
cam Ward's offensive coordinator. I remember when Dave Ball came
to the Giants and reading a story about his first
conversation with Daniel Jones, and basically he was asking Daniel
Jones like, hey man, no limits on this, going back

(11:29):
to high school, eighth grade, whatever, Like what was your
favorite stuff to run? Like what did you like to do?
He was willing to sort of bend his system to
the quarterback. So I don't know, I don't think he's
a bad hire for cam Ward. So I'm fairly optimistic
about both guys. But I do like Mendos a little
bit more. I just think he's a better prospect honestly.

Speaker 1 (11:50):
So Mendoza.

Speaker 2 (11:50):
I feel like within the quarterbacks is a real line
of like the guys above him, I really like, at
least in this particular chart ranking the guys above him,
I really liked guys below him. I start to get
some more question marks about because like right ahead of him, Bonick,
Jordan Love, brock Purty, Like, at the very least, I
have like some degree of confidence to those guys as
capable fantasy quarterbacks, even if you can, you know, bicker

(12:12):
about what the actual ceilings are.

Speaker 1 (12:14):
The guy's immediately behind him, c J.

Speaker 2 (12:15):
Stroud, who's looked awful recently, Sam Darnolds, who looked awful
early in his career, you know, Cam Moore to his
question marks about the surroundings, Dak Prescott, who I do
like but doesn't run anymore and is older, you know,
Baker Mayfield, err Like, I feel like there's like, I mean,
it's kind of a funny thing to say, because like,
the Mendoza line is already a thing, just in a
different sport, but I feel like this is the Mendoza

(12:38):
line in Fantasy dynasty rankings right now, where if you're
above him, I'm feeling really good, and if you're below him,
I'm maybe not feeling awful, but I'm looking to upgrade.

Speaker 3 (12:47):
That is funny.

Speaker 4 (12:48):
I think you have coined a phrase for dynasty football
worm the mendoz A line. It makes a lot of sense.
I agree that is a point of demarcation between qbs
you feel pretty good about and qbs you're not so
sure about.

Speaker 2 (13:01):
Let's move on to the running backs here once again,
not a ton of huge movers. Really, the most interesting
conversation I think at running back right now is going
to be the rookies. Obviously, the combine just happened. We
saw some guys who tested really well, Mike Washington, you know,
kind of standing out among those some guys who didn't
test as well as maybe we would have hoped. I

(13:21):
think what's really standing out to me is the price
that the Texans paid for David Montgomery. And I'm not
the first one to point this out, but I had
the same thought. Says to me that the league is
not that thrilled about this running back class. And we
didn't think coming into this early part of the draft
process that this group was going to be as strong
as last year's group, where we had like five or

(13:43):
six guys who were first round picks and rookie draft
picks who we were really excited about. We called it
both a top heavy and a deep like not generational,
but a really really really strong running back class last year.

Speaker 1 (13:55):
This is not that.

Speaker 2 (13:56):
And if a team is going out and trading for
an aging, like not special running back, giving up the
price that Texans did, and I do think he's a
good fit in Houston for what it's worth to me,
that's saying that, like, hey, we don't think we can
address his position satisfactorily enough in the draft, and I
think a lot of other teams maybe feel that way.
If you don't get Jeremiah Love, I don't think teams

(14:18):
are expecting to get any starters in this draft, at least.
That's kind of what my takeaway was from that. Do
you feel the same way, particularly after having seen the
combine or do you think that there maybe are more
I don't want to call them diamonds in the rough,
but that there's more upside here than is being given credit.

Speaker 4 (14:35):
No, I agree my buddy Jax Falcone, again I'm friends
with in the Dynasty community, kind of a respected voice.
He said he does not want to pick the running
back too in this year's rocket class, and I couldn't
agree more. I don't want to have to parse between
I know Mike Washington tested really well. I also know
like some of Mike Washington's college metrics weren't that great,

(14:57):
including the fact that he fumbled on almost two percent
of his carries, which is an alarming rate.

Speaker 3 (15:03):
So yeah, there are issues there.

Speaker 4 (15:04):
There are issues with you know, Jonah Coleman, their issues
with Jdarian Price, who was basically a backup in college. Like,
there's no one I'm dying to get from this running
back class. I totally totally understand why the Texans did that.
Now they can just kind of concentrate on upgrading their
offensive line and not worry about drafting a running back.

(15:28):
I guess this maybe precludes the possibility of them going
after someone like Tyler Algier or whatever. But David Montgomery
is a pretty good fit. I don't know if you
remember in his college career, worm like he ran behind
a terrible offensive line at Iowa State. I remember our
buddy Thorne Eystrom writing about Montgomery coming out of college

(15:50):
and saying how sometimes when David Montgomery ran it looked
like a Bruce Lee movie with you know, just tacklers,
eight tacklers, and he's having to do these superhuman things
to try to like elude all these guys. So well,
he's gonna have another subpar offensive line with the Texans
most likely, who as bad as their offensive line is

(16:13):
when they keep trading away offensive linemen Titus Howard and
Juice Scruggs yesterday, Like I know those guys. I know
Titus Howard is old and mediocre and Juice Scrugs is bad.

Speaker 3 (16:22):
But like it's.

Speaker 4 (16:24):
Funny how they just even though their offensive line is bad,
yet they keep trading offensive lineman away.

Speaker 2 (16:30):
My biggest memory of Dave Montgomery in college is just
the meme of him when he was like a junior
or something at Iowa State, and it had the like
feet of Saquon Barkley, vision of Leveon Bell strike the
Ezekiel Elliott, like the graphic was making out to be
like the greatest running back ever. And then I always
laugh because the athleticism was athleticism of Sony Michelle. It's

(16:50):
not a knock on Michelle, just compared to Saquon Bell.
Zeke didn't quite live up to that, But yeah, I
who is your running back to And like, if you
had to, you don't want to be drafting that spot,
But if you were, if you really needed a running
back in your rookie draft and Love was gone, and
who would you take right now?

Speaker 4 (17:10):
It's Shadaian Price on traits alone. But like, there's some
things I just really don't like about Price. That his
fumble rate was a little high. He hasn't really shown
much pass catching aptitude. He runs a little more east
west than you'd like to see, so and like the
testing was unremarkable. So I mean, it's just it's Price,

(17:32):
But I mean I kind of lump Price, Jonah Coleman, Washington,
and Emma Johnson all in one basket to me.

Speaker 3 (17:39):
There there's not much separation between those guys.

Speaker 2 (17:43):
The guy at the top who were there is separation, obviously,
is Jeremiah Love. There's a pretty wide gap after Bijon
and Gibbs at the top of the running back rankings.
Here in this chart, Gent and Love are tied at
three and four several spots behind. The gap between them
and Gibbs at two is the same as the gap
between them, and it's actually larger than the gap between

(18:06):
them and Judkins and McCaffrey at thirteen and fourteen, so obviously,
like one and two, very obvious. There's no need to
debate that. Do you think Genty and Love being tied
makes sense? I feel like the more I think about it,
the more I would maybe want to give the slightest
of edges to Love, just because like there's still kind

(18:29):
of the hope that maybe he gets this awesome landing
spot like Kansas City or wherever your favorite landing spot
is for him, Whereas Genty, like I like the new coach,
they're going to have a better quarterback, the offensive line.
They still do need to address it. Them being tied, though,
feels pretty right.

Speaker 4 (18:44):
It does feel right, and we'll let the landing spot
for Love break the tie. And with Gent It's funny
because one thing that I'm sure I know someone in
Discord was just asking me about this with Clint Kubiak
talking about I mean almost mentioning like a running back
by committee. But you're not going to do a running
back by committee with Ashton Genty. If he's healthy, he's

(19:04):
getting at least fifteen touches a game, if not more.
And look, it's it's not the worst thing in the world.
Maybe if a coach doesn't want to beat him into
the ground. So I totally get it. You need a
guy behind you. I mean Bijon Robinson his ed Tyler
Lgier poaching him for touches the last couple of years.
So not the worst thing. Bijon was still plenty valuable.

(19:26):
I wouldn't sweat it too much. And I think that
any inclination for Clint Kubiak to give another running back
touches that would otherwise go to gent He's sort of
offset by the fact that Clint Kubiak is going to
make that offense better and his the system.

Speaker 3 (19:43):
He's going to run a system.

Speaker 4 (19:44):
That you know, his dad Gary churned out repeated thousand
yard rushers in Denver with for a long time and
then goes to Houston as the head coach and Arian
Foster instantly becomes this massive league winning guy. I'm not
too worried about the workload, and I think, like Kubiak,

(20:05):
putting his system in is going to be a net
positive for Jentt.

Speaker 2 (20:10):
I was laughing speaking of Tayler or Elgier. People were like, oh,
David Montgomery's not in Detroit anymore. Gibbs has to be
RB one and I'm like, yeah, well Algiers not in
Atlanta anymore. Like they've both right, Both Vijan and Gibbs
are going to benefit now from that. Yeah, I love
love inside the top five feels right. I think him
tied with Janty and I like the way you put it.
His landing spot will break the tie in either direction.

(20:30):
There the last running back I wanted to quickly touched
on just Kenneth Walker. I mean, speaking of Kubiak not
getting the tag, does that change how you look at
him as a dynasty asset and somebody who might go
somewhere and become a starter, like like a true starter,
you know, without the same type of competition that he
had in Seattle.

Speaker 4 (20:45):
I'm sorry where I was looking at something in the chat?
Who not getting the tag?

Speaker 3 (20:49):
Oh? Walker not getting the tag? How does that change
his value?

Speaker 1 (20:52):
Or does it change his value?

Speaker 2 (20:53):
Do you have more optimism now that he could have
a larger role somewhere else than he was had had
the last couple of years in Seattle?

Speaker 3 (21:00):
Oh?

Speaker 4 (21:00):
Yeah, I think it's good. I mean the Kenneth Walker
investors were tearing their hair out this past season. All
the poaching Zach Charboney and the touchdown vulturing. Yeah, I
think this is a good thing for Kenneth Walker, although
I don't know if you've seen where one of the
rumored landing spots could be for Kenneth Walker. Apparently the

(21:22):
Giants are very interested, which I don't love. I've Scataboo
on a lot of Dynasty teams, so I'm not sure
how I feel about that, And would it just be
Scataboo poaching Walker at the goal line now instead of Sharboney.

Speaker 2 (21:37):
I think if Walker goes to the right spot, that
like last year's Cowboys like Javonte walking in and just
having this obvious path. If he goes to a similar situation,
I could see him getting as high as like RB
nine in these rankings. Like I think right now he's twelve.
I think he could jump Bucky Traveon Henderson and Brest
Hall if he's in the right spot. If he's not

(22:00):
in the right spot, then could maybe even move the
other direction, but I could I can't see him really
breaking into the top eight. I think in a really
great scenario, I'm not sure what that landing spot is
right now, he finds it well Kansas City, Like, I
just keep thinking about them as the love spot in
the draft, which might not happen, of course, but if
it is Kansas City, like I will certainly be putting

(22:22):
him inside the top nine.

Speaker 3 (22:23):
Like Kansas City just says no money.

Speaker 4 (22:25):
They're a cap strap team, which is partly why they
released Juwan Taylor.

Speaker 2 (22:31):
Just no, yeah, yeah, all right, Let's move on to
the wide receivers. You know, again, like I've been saying,
kind of not a lot of movement. Rareshi Rice goes
down a bit. Obviously. We know there's continuing off field
issues there. I don't think we need to like dive
too deep into that right now. He of course also
has question marks about you know, Mahomes' health and everything
like that. The offense is now look very good lately,

(22:52):
but the off field stuff, you know, the big red
flag there. Kind of seeking with the theme of talking
about some of these rookies in the incoming class. You know,
Carnell Tates at wide receiver sixteen, Makai lemon Is at
wide receiver eighteen, just a few kind of value points behind,
Jordan Tyson wide receiver twenty four, Just a couple of
spots behind Lemon in terms of the value, but there's

(23:12):
more names kind of clumped together there, hence the larger
gap in ranking. Do you feel like Cardel Tate still
deserves to be at the top of the list of
the incoming rookies given that he didn't run maybe as
fast as we would.

Speaker 4 (23:25):
Have voped So, I mean, there was the whole Adam
Schefter thing about where Schefter, yeah, so that some other
some teams hand timed him faster than the There was a.

Speaker 2 (23:35):
Lot of that from Schefter, like the arm length stuff
with Reuben Bain. He was quick to be tweeting out like,
oh the you know, scouts measured him differently too. There
was some work being put in by Schefty.

Speaker 3 (23:45):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (23:45):
I mean, Joe Piece of Pa made a good point
on a mock draft show we were doing today about
how Tates Tate's really good at getting separation with his routes.
It's not so much about the pure speed, although when
he does get downfield, he is a long strider, eats
up a lot of ground with those big, big strides.
I mean he's six' three and under two hundred. Pounds
the dude's, Lanky so, LIKE i don't really have any

(24:07):
concerns about the, speed but tit is my wide receiver
one in this class as of, NOW i have A
Tate Lemon, Tyson but there is so little separation for
me between those three that you cannot slide a playing
card in between any of the three as far As i'm,
concerned LIKE i, THINK i Think tyson is, Fantastic and

(24:28):
the only REASON i have him number three is because
of the.

Speaker 3 (24:32):
Somewhat alarming injury.

Speaker 4 (24:33):
History AND i mean he had a multi ligament tear
in his knee back in twenty twenty. Two on one,
hand you never want to see the unholy trinity of
ligament tears where IT'S, ACL mcl AND, Pcl but it
was twenty twenty, two and he has since completed a
couple of. Seasons but he's also had like hamstring and

(24:54):
collar bone. Issues but, man that dude is really good
AND i think teams are gonna love. That that guy
blocks like a dog. Too he's had Heinz ward as
this receivers coach At Arizona, state And Hines ward maybe
the blessed best blocking receiver of all time worm as
you well know with as A ravens, FAN i hate
heines work but, man like add the blocking into the,

(25:16):
mix and the fact That tyson can play probably any
of the three receiver SPOTS X, y.

Speaker 3 (25:23):
You, know.

Speaker 5 (25:25):
X z.

Speaker 3 (25:26):
Slot, LIKE i don't, know, MAN i think he's really.

Speaker 4 (25:30):
GOOD i just find it really hard to sort out
the three AND i don't Think tyson should be six
spots below tape.

Speaker 2 (25:36):
WELL i said on our last show With bogman that
there was a world in my mind That tyson isn't
a first round, pick AND i want to kind of
like circle back to that to be, really, really really
abundantly clear That i'm only saying that for the medical,
History like if just enough teams are scared off by
it that they just decide to go to a different
direction on the, like not including any kind of injury

(25:59):
risk would be my wide receiver.

Speaker 1 (26:01):
ONE i like him that much as a.

Speaker 2 (26:03):
PLAYER i just get, nervous, like particularly this year with
the hamstring injury lingering as long as it has to
the point that he's, not you, know participating at the
combine several months, later just makes me, nervous given that
there already was this kind of long and checkered injury.
History it is strictly a medical thing which we don't
have the you, know we don't have access to his.

Speaker 4 (26:23):
Medicals If Jordan tyson were there at twenty six And
Brandon bean passed on him for The, Bells Bill's mafia
would tar and Feather Brandon.

Speaker 2 (26:33):
Bean if, listen if The ravens are comfortable with his,
Medicals i'd be happy to take him at. Fourteen like,
again it's not at all and not gotten him the.
Player but by the way On tate, too with him running.
SLOWLY i wanted to ask the question because it was
a little bit of a conversation this. WEEK i would
like be outside of Ruben, Bain there's Nobody i'd rather
fall to The ravens at fourteen Than. Carnelty LIKE i

(26:54):
think tit is awesome And i'm in no way worried
about the in the. FORTY i am so much a
strong believery in like just just watch the games and
like the combines there for interviews and. Medicals it's not
there for testing, numbers like unless it is like truly
like something you cannot. OVERCOME i just don't really care

(27:16):
all that much About, oh he's a little slower than
you would have.

Speaker 4 (27:18):
Hoped, well wherem you should probably check Out pat fitzmorris
Mock draft two point zero on fantasypros Dot com BECAUSE
i think you might like who The ravens take at
fourteen and the really.

Speaker 1 (27:29):
Draft you, know it's.

Speaker 2 (27:29):
FUNNY i clicked on the link AND i have it
up as a tab on my. PHONE i just haven't
actually sat down to read it, yet BUT i haven't
open and was planning to read it in a, bit
so we'll see what my Guy fits. Says, YEAH i
mean these guys are all. GOOD i Love lemon, too
Like i'm a Big lemon fan in, General SO i
think these guys all, again assuming health is okay For,

(27:51):
TYSON i think these guys all belong inside the top
twenty in dynasty of the.

Speaker 1 (27:55):
POSITION i think they're all really.

Speaker 2 (27:56):
GOOD i don't think any of them belongs to the top.
Ten some years guys do step in and we kind
of think of them in that way right. Away we
think the ceilings that, high like A Marvin harrison junior
when he came out that sort of Situation Jamar. Chase
we don't feel that way. Here but these guys are
all very good, players and.

Speaker 3 (28:10):
There's no No Jeremiah smith in this.

Speaker 1 (28:14):
Class, no we.

Speaker 2 (28:16):
Are you, KNOW i swung a trade earlier, today actually
trading out of the back of the twenty twenty sixth
first round for a twenty twenty seven First so we've
talked a lot about on the.

Speaker 1 (28:28):
Show, yeah as a very prudent. Move So i'm very
excited about.

Speaker 2 (28:31):
That the person who's PICK i traded for has the
number two pick this, year but it's pretty injury. Driven
they have a good, Team So i'm, like maybe the
injuries stick around AND i get a high pick next,
year which would be. Amazing but even if, Not i'll
happily take a late twenty twenty seven.

Speaker 4 (28:45):
First if you can turn what would have, Been, LIKE i,
mean what was what was the pick you traded away this?

Speaker 3 (28:50):
Year one one.

Speaker 1 (28:52):
Twelfth it was the last pick of the first.

Speaker 4 (28:53):
Round oh my, God so you're trading you, know you
could conceivably be Turning Eli stowers Into Jeremiah.

Speaker 1 (28:59):
SMITH i will take that.

Speaker 4 (29:02):
CERTAINLY i, mean if not, that you, know if not,
THAT i Mean Dante More.

Speaker 2 (29:09):
Yeah a lot of Quarterback yeah shots you can take next.
Year Maybe Ryan williams bounces back For alabama because he
was right there With Jeremiah smith as a. Freshman you,
know a lot of a lot of exciting options there
with the. Rookies we've kind of had those three names
already talked about as tier. One we've Had Casey conception
And Denzel, boston who are now tied in this value

(29:31):
chart as four and. Five who's wide receiver six for?
YOU i think for me at this point in the,
process It's Omar. COOPER i believe that is who is
also sixth in the value, chart Unless i'm missing a
name here amongst the, rookies is somebody else for you
who stands out for you after that top?

Speaker 3 (29:49):
Five, no It's cooper for me.

Speaker 4 (29:50):
Too and you Know i've Got i've got some family
ties To Indiana university and watch a lot of their
games this.

Speaker 3 (29:55):
Year Omar cooper is just a.

Speaker 4 (29:57):
Baller AND i, know my, Guy Ian harditz Of Fantasy
life posted something about Like Omar cooper's only had x
number of games with eighty or more receiving yards in
college than they were against and it was like a
collection of weak Sisters Youngstown states And northwestern and some

(30:19):
other bad. Teams but, look, MAN i Mean indiana had
a really good. Team they they were able to run the,
ball and have a balanced. Offense and, look they also
Had Elijah surat and you Know, becker who is going
to be a really highly regarded rookie pick next year
if he comes out after his junior. Year And Noah
Kowski Riley nowakowski their tight end who went to my

(30:42):
high school In milwaukee worm and he's probably gonna be
a you, know Someone's day three. Pick he could be
a top ten tight end this. Year so there were
some good pass catchers. There it doesn't bother me at
all That Omar cooper didn't put up any seriously sexy,
numbers but, man if you watch that guy, play he
is just. Nails he's really good after the, catch makes tough,

(31:05):
catches good route, runner blocks his tail.

Speaker 3 (31:07):
Off nothing not to. Like so, yeah he's my six.

Speaker 1 (31:12):
End oh go.

Speaker 2 (31:14):
Ahead, YEAH i was gonna say him And serat are
pretty close in uh in the trade value, Chart cooper is,
higher and then there's there's a bit of a gap.

Speaker 1 (31:25):
THERE i want to talk about the tight ends here.

Speaker 2 (31:26):
Quickly we run a little along on this, section so
we'll just kind of focus in on the rookies again
and then we'll start to get to everybody's questions. Here
in the chat and those who want to raise their
hands that come up on the. Stages so if you
want to do, that be sure to start raising your
hands and keep throwing those questions in the. CHAT i
see it's active already amongst these rookies at the tight. End,
Obviously Kenyan sadik And Eli stauers are kind of the
two that stand. Out incredible athletic testing performances at the

(31:52):
combine from both of.

Speaker 1 (31:52):
Them you, know breaking, records.

Speaker 2 (31:54):
Broad, job you, know forty yard, dash that's a deek
just like true athletics, specimen And sadik is tight end ten,
hours is tight end thirteen in this updated trade value,
chart which again did come out a couple of days,
AGO i forget exactly how that timed up with their testing.
Numbers is right around the same. Time so again factored,
in factored, in factored. In, Okay, well WHAT i wanted

(32:18):
to ask, You fits and especially about factoring it, in
is you often like to bring up the point AND
i actually want to talk to you more about this
in our longer show With bogman that we're recording later
this week doing rookie.

Speaker 1 (32:30):
Rankings SO i hope everybody checks that.

Speaker 2 (32:32):
Out when you see some of these crazy combine testing,
numbers you often are the one cautioning against double counting.
Them if we know a guy is really fast from
watching him play in, college and then he runs a
four three four, forty what we didn't need to know
that he his forty time to know he was. Fast
we already knew. It we already Knew Kenyon sadik was

(32:52):
an athletic. Freak maybe we didn't know he was like
gonna break some combine records level of athletic, freak but
we knew that letticism was a very strong selling point for.
Him are you trying to dial back some of the,
hype not as a reflection of how you feel About,
sadik but as a reflection of let's not double count.
This or are you, saying, hey he broke. Records maybe

(33:15):
he does deserve like a stronger look Than i've been given.

Speaker 4 (33:17):
Him landing spot is still going to be pretty key
for me with, Him i'm maybe giving. Him i'm more
positive on him THAN i was maybe a week. Ago
there's still some stats that aren't, great like his his target,
share his yards per, catch his you know yards per

(33:39):
ute runner are not electrifying, numbers but the athleticism and
the potential is there for. Sure SO i still don't
think he was as good a prospect as Either Colston
loveland Or Tyler warren last, year AND I i mean
probably not as good a respect Is fannin, Either but

(34:01):
we had our small school reservations About fannin last, year
SO i like. HIM i just don't want to Annoint
tim as the next big thing yet because the the
college numbers were a little, light to be, honest AND
I stowars had better college, numbers and uh tested you

(34:22):
know equally, well if, not if not, better well his
jump was.

Speaker 3 (34:25):
BETTER i would say they both tested like. Champs how why.

Speaker 2 (34:28):
Is the gap between them in your dynasty right not
your rookie rankings because obviously they're one of, two but
in their dynasty rankings right, now.

Speaker 3 (34:37):
Not Very to.

Speaker 4 (34:38):
Me Star wars is like a one to, twelve two
to oh one guy even in Super flex and, uh you, Know,
Sidika i'll won eight one o nine.

Speaker 1 (34:48):
Guy, okay there is a bit of a.

Speaker 2 (34:51):
Gap there were only three spots apart in the trade value,
chart but there's a bit of a tear break there
After sidik and then kind Of kittle floating there in
the midd in terms of the actual value numbers at,
eleven and then you get in sort of the next
tier With Kincaidstours ferguson at least based on the value numbers.
There so there's there's A it's not a massive, gap
but there is there's a larger gap than just three

(35:13):
spots in the rankings would suggest on THE uh on
the trade value chart. There SO i wanted to highlight,
that all, RIGHT i do want to let everybody, know
as we're talking about trades, here that you can evaluate

Here let me pull back up the discord. Page see
we GOT i see the CHAT a lot of folks

(35:55):
chatting in.

Speaker 1 (35:55):
There let's.

Speaker 2 (35:56):
Start let's start calling people. Up, actually we've got a
few hands. Raised we'll bring up herbs and cheese to
kick things.

Speaker 6 (35:59):
Off my question today is around a quarterback trade. Value
SO i dropped my team in the, chat but pretty
over leverage at a quarterback, Currently so Have drake may
as my long term, one and Then mahomes is my
long term. Two so obviously might need somebody at the
beginning of the, season BUT i Have, Donald, kyler And

(36:20):
Malik willis all on my, bench SO i feel comfortable
with Like kyler Or malik either or as my. Three
So i've been trying to get off Of, donald but
haven't been getting great trade, Offers SO i was curious
if you would kind of pivot to maybe trying to
package my homes for something bigger If i'm not getting
the types offers that seem like fair value For, donald

(36:42):
to'd be okay with him in those combinations of other
guys as my quarterback, room or if you would kind
of take the best, offer probably like a late first this.
Year it's the type of deal That i'd be able
to get For donald at this, point many teams in
your league it's ten, Teams.

Speaker 4 (37:01):
OKAY i, WAS i was. Wondering it seems, like you,
know with the, way you've got a small LITTLE qb
cartel going over, There SO i favored if it was
a twelve team or you might have a little more,
leverage and teams makes a little more. Sense so so
you're saying a late first for like WOULD i WOULD

(37:22):
i take that For? Donald and SO i don't THINK i.

Speaker 3 (37:30):
Want to.

Speaker 7 (37:33):
For.

Speaker 3 (37:33):
DONALD i don't want to.

Speaker 4 (37:34):
GO i don't want to go any later Than, LIKE
i don't think i'd take anything beyond one oh six For,
Donald LIKE I i think you're coming up light if
you trade him for anything less than you, know Love

(37:55):
mendoza one of the top three receivers Or sidik Probably,
Yeah so, well maybe MAYBE i do Have city get
ONE o six WORM i THINK i just said one
a waiter ONE o. Nine But i'm still kind of
torn on Like city Versus concepcion At. Boston so like
i'd want for sure one of, THOSE i, know maybe

(38:16):
even ONE o. Five, LIKE i don't know if i'd
take anything less than one oh five For Sam.

Speaker 1 (38:21):
Darnold do you know? Herbs how much more you could
get From.

Speaker 2 (38:23):
Mahomes do you have a sense of what you might
be able to get if you did decide to move him.

Speaker 6 (38:27):
Instead, NO i really the only serious Off roughson out
got rejected was Like mahomes And addison For lamar that
was turned. Down so BUT i was kind of thinking
somewhere in that area of quarterback upgrade IF i was
going to go that. Route BUT i haven't floated offers
out for Like pickwise anything like that From.

Speaker 4 (38:48):
Homes, yeah the thing Is, IRBs, LIKE i, know it
seems like you have this glot at quarterback and, uh
therefore you should trade. One but at the same, Time
i'm you're a really good. Team it's not like you're
hurting at any of these other. Positions LIKE i like
your situation at running back With Chase brown And Jonathan

(39:08):
taylor And Kenneth walker and a little, uh you, know
maybe you could use a little bit more depth there
and wide. Receiver you're pretty loaded With jase And nico
AND Aj brown And waddle And DeVante adams And. Addison,
like so if you're not getting suitable, offers LIKE i

(39:30):
don't want to take a loss just to Trade Sam.
DARNOLD i think if you traded him for anything past
the one oh five and rookie, drafts you're taking a
loss on.

Speaker 6 (39:38):
Him, Yeah i'm kind of getting the defending champ attacks
on some of these trade.

Speaker 8 (39:43):
OFFERS i, Think so.

Speaker 6 (39:44):
It could, be could, be BUT i THINK i do
HAVE i think the best OFFER i got was the
ONE o six this year in a third next. YEAR
i was trying to push it to their twenty seven
first into the ONE o six this, year but they
weren't willing to give up the twenty seven. First this
leek's all kind of trying to stack those twenty seven. Picks, so,
uh that ONE o six and the third is kind

(40:06):
of in that range WHERE i was debating whether it
even take that or. Not so it sounds like that'd
be right on the border for both they all. Two,
YEAH i mean that's in the.

Speaker 4 (40:14):
Ballpark AND i think third rounders next, year oh, Man
LIKE i, WOULD a third rounder next year is gonna be.
Valuable our third rounder this year is a dart.

Speaker 2 (40:22):
Throw, yeah, yeah, YEAH i would say LIKE i, WOULD
i would consider the one oh.

Speaker 1 (40:30):
SIX i think there's enough there to be of.

Speaker 2 (40:33):
Interest if you don't want to do, that THEN i
kind of like the idea of just, saying, like, hey,
everybody LIKE i obviously have more quarterbacks THAN i Mean Mic.

Speaker 1 (40:41):
Jones maybe even he gets an opportunity, again, right like.

Speaker 2 (40:44):
Just say, like, HEY i have more quarterbacks THEN i you,
know can.

Speaker 1 (40:48):
Start they are. Available i'm not going to trade them for.
Nothing this is a.

Speaker 2 (40:52):
Superflex but if you guys want to pay, up come
let me. Know and then when a quarterback inevitably gets,
hurt you'll be the guy that they come. To, like
there's no rush for you to fill another hole so
that you have to move it to like even out
your team or. Anything you could wait until end season and, say,
hey like In, october somebody you know breaks their ankle or,

(41:12):
whatever And i'm the guy that they now have to
come to to get this. Replacement there's no, RUSH i,
guess is What i'm. Saying but at the same, time
LIKE i do think one of six is reasonable.

Speaker 1 (41:21):
Range.

Speaker 6 (41:22):
There, okay got, It, yeah thanks, guys let out other
people come, up so appreciate.

Speaker 2 (41:28):
It thank, You thanks. Serbs all, right let's bring UP
cfc fan.

Speaker 8 (41:33):
Here how's it.

Speaker 5 (41:34):
GOING i just put my team in the chat here
AND i had A cinderella run to the championship and
lost last, year but feeling in a good spot for
twenty twenty. Six so mainly looking up or mainly looking
for like a starting caliber, receiver maybe A qb three this.

Speaker 8 (41:54):
Offseason BUT i don't THINK i need to do anything too.

Speaker 5 (41:57):
Drastic that, said the owner of one oh two has
a terrible team and his pick is on the, Block
So i'm just debating IF i should push my chips
in for Basically tate Or. Mendoza i'm trying to hang
onto my twenty seven. First don't have a ton of
other selling options outside of tight, end SO i started
with a twenty eight first And Mason taylor Or Mark,

(42:18):
andrews which he. Declined so thoughts on Offering loveland for
one oh two or what else would you think about
adding on top of a twenty eight first to get
to one oh?

Speaker 2 (42:29):
Two do you do you know for sure like his
love gonna go one oh? One is there a chance
That mendoza goes first in this league and then love
is there at one o?

Speaker 8 (42:40):
Two it'll definitely be love at.

Speaker 5 (42:43):
One the guy has like already changed his team name
To Jeremiah, loves so.

Speaker 1 (42:48):
Yeah, hey he's making it easy for everybody. Else let
him know what he's.

Speaker 2 (42:51):
Doing, yeah, Exactly, Okay, yeah what what do you think
fits about trying to push for that pick we.

Speaker 4 (42:59):
Have mendoza or excuse, Me loveland as being in the
ballpark With. Mendoza mendoza is slightly more, valuable but like
you wouldn't need to add, much, so LIKE i, MEAN
i don't Think loveland in your twenty eight. FIRST i
think that would be too.

Speaker 3 (43:16):
Much BUT i Know, loveland and, UH.

Speaker 4 (43:23):
I, KNOW i don't WANT i don't want you to
give up any more of your twenty twenty seven. Picks
you can punt this draft Entire lacy if you Take
loveland in the three oh, eight you, know if you
Take loveland and wants to take a flyer On Tank
dell or something like, that you know WHAT i?

Speaker 2 (43:41):
Mean, yeah, YEAH i feel Like loveland's given the excitement for.
Him LIKE i know this is not a tight end premium,
league but like this is tight end three in most,
rankings and a lot of people have him closer to
one and two than they do to four or like
that's not a consensus, opinion but like he's, In you're
one in our consensus rankings on the. Site so LIKE

(44:04):
i Think loveland is a really high price to, pay
and if you want to make that move because you have,
McBride i think.

Speaker 1 (44:10):
That should be.

Speaker 2 (44:11):
Enough LIKE i mean you could throw in like a
Tank dell like fit, said if they you know want,
them and that puts it over the. Top that's that's
not somebody worth holding. Onto but like as a general,
RULE i don't think you should need much more Than
loveland given his age and what we just saw from
him as a.

Speaker 8 (44:24):
Rookie, yeah, YEAH i.

Speaker 5 (44:27):
Agree i've gotten some offers For, loveland like FOR btj Potentially,
burden like those have been kind of floated as. Well so,
yeah just is one or two kind of like worth
the opportunity cost of like a player like that as,
well like a wide receiver in that.

Speaker 4 (44:46):
Tier, YEAH i mean to get to Get mendoz as
a third quarterback would be really, nice and then you
know you are set at quarterback going, forward like the
future is bright.

Speaker 8 (44:57):
There.

Speaker 4 (44:58):
YEAH i just, wish uh, REMEMBER i WISH shefc could
like come armed with like clips of me talking About
loveland on recent shows and somehow be able to send
that to his trading, partner because you, know this is
A packers fan speaking glowingly Of Colston.

Speaker 3 (45:15):
Loveland maybe that would have some.

Speaker 1 (45:17):
Sway, yeah, YEAH i think the ONE o.

Speaker 2 (45:21):
TWO i wouldn't do it for like the one oh
three and just say, like, Hey i'll get whichever RECEIVER
i like. Best BUT i think the ONE o TWO i, Like,
yeah that feels like pretty fair to. Me, honestly Is
loveland for that something close to?

Speaker 1 (45:35):
That straight?

Speaker 2 (45:36):
Up LIKE i, said if you need to throw in
something like kind of, useless, fine but like if they're
asking for, More i'd say, no Like loveland is really
just because you happen to have McBride doesn't Mean loveland
is less.

Speaker 1 (45:48):
Valuable he's still. Awesome yeah for.

Speaker 8 (45:52):
Sure, okay?

Speaker 5 (45:53):
Cool and then would you do like a twenty eight
first and second for ONE o two or is that
kind of LIKE i.

Speaker 8 (46:02):
Don't, know hamstring myself in the future just for one or.

Speaker 4 (46:04):
TWO i mean it is twenty, eight SO i mean
you are kicking that can down the road pretty. FAR
i honestly couldn't tell you like sizing up the twenty twenty,
EIGHT i, Asked i'm not like that far enough into the.

Speaker 3 (46:20):
Youth of uh, yeah, yeah ode football landscape right?

Speaker 2 (46:23):
Now So Mary maryland Quarterback Milike washington will be in that,
Class so keep those picks at all.

Speaker 1 (46:29):
Costs, No i'm just.

Speaker 3 (46:30):
Kidding where's? He whre's he going to be transferring?

Speaker 9 (46:32):
To?

Speaker 3 (46:33):
By? Then Where i'm? Too all? Right are? Right all?

Speaker 5 (46:35):
Right?

Speaker 2 (46:37):
Yeah, honestly like I'm i'm a twenty twenty seven is
kind of a its own special category given how strong
everybody understands that class to. Be as a general, rule
trade away picks a couple of years, away especially if
you're you're a, Contender like if you Have Herbert may And,
mendoza you're not going to need a quarterback in that, class,
Right you're you're not going to have this dire need

(46:59):
to train it up or anything you should theoretically is you,
know barring some kind of, catastrophe be something of a.

Speaker 1 (47:05):
Contender SO i am actually not opposed to.

Speaker 3 (47:09):
THAT i think it's. There, yeah, Yeah i'm with.

Speaker 1 (47:12):
You, awesome appreciate, it, guys, cool thanks so much that.

Speaker 2 (47:18):
QUESTION i want to let everybody know first that they
can join Our fantasy Pros discord, community chat with other,
fans and get access to exclusive amas that wind up
on our podcast. Feed here's our current schedule myself And

fits at five eastern on the Third tuesday of every.
Month come get your questions answered and be on the

(47:39):
show at fantasypros Dot com slash. Chat let's Get nick
up on the show.

Speaker 4 (47:44):
Here, yeah, hey, Worm let's let's take these last two
From Nick randall and awesome dev and then let's make
sure we hit some of the questions in the chat
before we.

Speaker 2 (47:54):
Leave, Okay i'm better forget all the questions in the.

Speaker 4 (47:57):
Chat, NO i, know So i'm just. Asking then no
one else raised their hand because we're going to make
these the last two before we hit those. Questions sounds
good to. Me what do you got for?

Speaker 3 (48:07):
Us?

Speaker 10 (48:07):
Nick drop my team in the. Chat it's the twelve
Team Super. Flegs i've Got, Lamar i've got Cam, Ward
i've Got Tyler. Shuck i'm a. Leak willis looking for
some running back help just Because scataboo went, down and
now the trade Traded David montgomery to The, texans and
Then Rimandra stevenson is somehow in the mix. THERE i

(48:29):
don't really have much running back, help so wondering who
you guys THINK i should kind of float and maybe
try and go, after you, Know Jeremiah love or or
maybe one of the other running backs that's out.

Speaker 4 (48:40):
There, yeah you said this is super, Flex nick. Correct, oh,
okay so you're pretty pretty flush at. Quarterback BUT i
understand why you know your running back room is making
you feel like you're Smoking Ben affleck.

Speaker 2 (49:00):
The receiver seemed too or receiver room two like It's,
chase IT'S. Btj and then there's a lot of question marks.
There SO i think looking to move move from your
cash of quarterbacks to address the other positions is a
smart play.

Speaker 4 (49:15):
Here, man there are some there's some pieces on this,
Team Man, Bowers Chase, lamar there are some seriously nice cornerstones.
Here so, YEAH i MEAN i THINK i mean in,
like who would you bait the hook with if you
were trying to get running back help with this, team
which of those quarterbacks would you want To would you

(49:38):
be confident enough In willis And shock to maybe bait
the hook with Cam ward WHO i think might.

Speaker 1 (49:44):
Have Some ward is the ONE i was going to.

Speaker 2 (49:47):
SAY i think he's the best combination of dispense JUST
i don't want to seel like he's, disposable but like
he's the best combination of like you can afford to
move him while also having enough value to get something.
Back or if you didn't want to rush into, IT
i think you could also wait and see Where Malik willis,

(50:08):
signs and, like basically as soon as he, signs there's
going to be a lot of hype for him as
the new starter, somewhere and you could on that day
send out, offers be, like, hey you want to get
this new mobile quarterback in wherever he, lands come get him,
Right SO i would SAY i don't Think shuck is
going to get you enough and also has more upside Like,

(50:29):
FITZ i know is a big fan Of shuck as
a guy to invest in this upcoming year at cost
so and Obviously lamar Is, Lamar so LIKE i Think,
ward if you're doing it, now AND i think waiting
Until willis signs is also a viable.

Speaker 4 (50:42):
APPROACH i love what you just. SAID i agree with all.
THAT i Think shuck And willis are undervalued right. Now
i'm not Saying ward is, overvalued BUT i think he's
fairly valued In dynasty it's based on some of that
our trade, values other trade value Use i've. SEEN i
kind of THINK i think basically he'd be the best

(51:05):
one to shop AND i think you'd have to probably
stack some other things on top Of ward to if
you wanted to go after one oh One, Nick BUT
i don't. KNOW i, mean like going after a veteran
two would make sense just because LIKE i, know a young,
GUY i, mean even like, man Even Tyler. Algier and

(51:25):
obviously you're not trading Cam ward For Tyler, algier but
a guy who's probably going to be a playable running
back this, year as like ONE a or ONE b
for someone or even a Bacial tutin who stands to
gain if uh travi A ctn signed somewhere. Else, Yeah,
MAN i Think ward is the piece of bait you

(51:49):
want to pull out of the tackle box here, though
and try to upgrade your running back.

Speaker 2 (51:53):
Room, Yeah i'm gonna go ahead and send you back
to the audience. Here, nick thank you so much for the.
Question if you HAVE x night, followup feel free to
drop it in the chat. Here we'll get awesome dev
up and then we will get to the chat.

Speaker 7 (52:04):
Here how you doing so there's only about six and
a half more months until THE. Nfl you know we're getting, there.

Speaker 4 (52:12):
Dude plus we HAVE i mean, like there's nothing better
than THE nfl, draft, MAN i mean there's no better
sporting event where no one is actually working up a
sweat than THE Nfl.

Speaker 9 (52:22):
Draft i'm excited for that. Too that's just that's Where
i've sunk.

Speaker 10 (52:27):
To All, RIGHT.

Speaker 7 (52:30):
I put this isn't a keeper lead, Question SO i
put my team in the chat. Again now that The
Ken walker, news my question is, deeper, right so super.
FLEX i can't Keep lamarcros he was my first round
pick last, year BUT i Have Drake may and Te.

(52:51):
LAW i picked up E LAW i think in the
twelfth round In may and the. Eighth is it easy
to consider keeping Tee law Over Drake may just for
where you knowed his draft.

Speaker 1 (53:06):
CAPITAL i don't think that's enough of. IT i don't
think that's enough of a. GAP i would just Take.

Speaker 2 (53:12):
May who's you, know going to be ranked. Higher they're
both really good values for me at maybe you feel.
DIFFERENTLY i think eighth round versus, Twelve i'd rather get
the guy who's going to be a top three quarterback in.

Speaker 4 (53:23):
RANKINGS i, agree if it was like if versus, eighth
that might be a tougher question at eighth and. Twelve
now we're getting into the chaff of the draft a little,
bit so it's it's less of a distinction between those two.
Rounds dev THEN i just want to take the best.

Speaker 3 (53:41):
Guy AND i don't.

Speaker 4 (53:43):
KNOW i, mean with the Way lawrence played down the,
stretch and also if you factor in like Break may
playing a pretty easy schedule and then struggling a little
bit when he had to face top defenses in the,
PLAYOFFS i get, it BUT i would still, LIKE i
still think there's a clear gap Between may And, lawrence and,
yeah eight versus twelve would not be enough to move

(54:04):
me Off.

Speaker 9 (54:04):
May so you see Fits that's exactly where my brain was.
Going BUT i tend to.

Speaker 7 (54:09):
OVERTHINK i was LIKE i was watching, him was, like,
yeah he starts to play some like up for. Defenses
he's had a cake schedule and he's played. Well and,
meanwhile te law for the first, time like you, know in,
forever maybe his whole, career he was playing. Good but,
YEAH i keep coming back down to it's nuts to

(54:29):
get Off Drake.

Speaker 2 (54:30):
May so you're gonna The patriots is going to put
effort into improving the offense to this. Offseason it's not
like they're running it back with the same group that
he's going to have to Be superman. Again maybe he
will to a, degree but they're going, to you, know
try to improve the offensive. Line they're going to get
better pass catchers and there or at least try so
that might somewhat mitigate the tougher schedule they were going to.

Speaker 3 (54:52):
Face, yeah and the.

Speaker 4 (54:54):
Thing the other, Thing, Devin i'm glad we're kind of
on the same page. Here Trevor lawrence significantly Outscored Drake
may in fantasy as a runner last. Year if you
were to give me even money on those guys who
will score more points as a runner.

Speaker 3 (55:08):
Next, year LIKE i Think i'd still Take.

Speaker 9 (55:09):
May, Yeah i'm leaning Towards.

Speaker 7 (55:12):
May but, again just like in that second half or
the last third of the, season it was like just
Watching Trevor lawrence player was like he was like a fantasy.

Speaker 9 (55:22):
Machine it was amazing he.

Speaker 4 (55:24):
Was he really was great down the stretch as a
passer and especially like it was kind of a rushing
bonanza for, him which was something we hadn't seen a
lot of in previous.

Speaker 9 (55:33):
Years so my other question IS i can keep.

Speaker 7 (55:37):
Too so just looking AT i Mean Kenneth, walker is
that was like my fourth round, pick and everyone, else
LIKE i Think evans was, third everyone else just kind
of filters.

Speaker 9 (55:46):
In, No Drake london was.

Speaker 7 (55:47):
Third i'm, sorry looking at the my remaining, players who
would the other keeper? Be and now That Kenneth walker
just exploded in the postseason and now he's going to.

Speaker 9 (55:57):
Be pretty much THE rb.

Speaker 7 (55:59):
One that puts a wrinkle in it BECAUSE i was,
gonna you, know say farewell To Kenneth, walker but now
this is a different.

Speaker 9 (56:07):
Thing BUT i Have Tray, london It's Evans. WILSON i,
MEAN i have some good players. HERE i don't this
is a. STRUGGLE i don't know who to value.

Speaker 3 (56:16):
Appropriately what's the round value On?

Speaker 7 (56:19):
Wilson, OH i picked him up off the, waiver SO
i think that puts him on an eighth or ninth.

Speaker 4 (56:24):
Round, Okay i'm still Leaning london. Third a guy who's you,
know kind of A i'll be going somewhere really early
in the second Rounds, well there's a.

Speaker 9 (56:39):
One, oh there's a.

Speaker 7 (56:41):
RINK i forgot to, mention there's a one round, penalty
so if they picked him the third last, year he
would be a second round.

Speaker 3 (56:45):
Second, now, OKAY i, SEE i see.

Speaker 9 (56:48):
That's WHY i can't Keep lamar because he was my first.

Speaker 4 (56:51):
Round what's the round value On sutton and what's the
round value In, gadsden.

Speaker 9 (56:58):
Both GUYS i picked off off the, wire so they'd be.

Speaker 3 (57:02):
Like eighth or. Ninth, Yeah i'm probably Going i'm probably
Going sutton.

Speaker 2 (57:07):
Here.

Speaker 3 (57:07):
Worm, well, SO i.

Speaker 1 (57:09):
Mean i'm a little.

Speaker 2 (57:10):
Confused is there a reason why you wouldn't want to
just have your two keepers Be may And Trevor?

Speaker 1 (57:14):
Lawrence you can't keep two.

Speaker 9 (57:16):
Quarterbacks it's a super Flesh.

Speaker 1 (57:17):
Yeah, okay, OKAY i DIDN'T i didn't know that that
was A.

Speaker 9 (57:20):
I'm, SORRY i KEEP i keep rolling rules to you.
Guys i'm, Sorry, no, no, no it's totally.

Speaker 1 (57:24):
FINE i was JUST i was sitting here the whole.
TIME i was, like why would he not just Keep? Lawrence?
ALSO i would love to and then value you. Guys, okay,
Now i'll like kind of your.

Speaker 3 (57:34):
Value, YEAH i think it's sudden for.

Speaker 2 (57:36):
ME i like.

Speaker 1 (57:39):
SUDDEN i don't.

Speaker 2 (57:39):
Know part of me is LIKE i would just maybe
even Be, okay, saying Like Walker london and just getting
the better.

Speaker 3 (57:46):
PLAYER i If walker is a, fourth you Said walker
is a, fourth dav so.

Speaker 7 (57:53):
You'd be a third run.

Speaker 1 (57:54):
Pick now he'll he'd be a third.

Speaker 3 (57:57):
Year not. See that kind of bakes the value out of. It,
Yeah i'm going With sutton in the.

Speaker 2 (58:02):
EIGHTH i Assume henry was like your second last year
and would be your first this year if you kept.

Speaker 9 (58:08):
HIM i traded for, him. Traded uh, yeah, uh the
wide receiver one on The TEXAS i. TRADED i can't
remember his name all of a.

Speaker 4 (58:17):
Sudden Yet henry's either a one or. Two and that,
ALSO i think it comes down To Sutton, gadston And
i'm Going.

Speaker 1 (58:24):
Sutton you Like sutton better THAN. R. J harvey FITS i?

Speaker 3 (58:28):
DO i.

Speaker 1 (58:29):
DO i think that's.

Speaker 2 (58:31):
Fair, yeah, YEAH i Wish walker was a, fourth not a,
Third but, Yeah i'm cool With. SUTTON i Think may
is the easy one for me at. Quarterback it's harder
to pick the second. One i'm on board Of.

Speaker 9 (58:44):
Suddon, okay appreciate you. Guys that was pretty much.

Speaker 3 (58:50):
It thanks a, lot all, right so, much, cheers.

Speaker 2 (58:53):
Buddy all, Right, fitz we'll go quickly through some of
these chat questions, here let me scroll back up to
the top of. Them From, tim what differences would you
consider in roster construction for best ball versus managed THAT
i am not the Biggest Best ball. MANAGER i do
like a couple of them a year just to be
to participate in, him But i'm not somebody who does a. Ton,

(59:14):
Really ericson is the best person asked that question at
least compared to.

Speaker 1 (59:18):
Me do you have an answer to that?

Speaker 3 (59:20):
One?

Speaker 4 (59:21):
Oh, YEAH i mean there are definitely some guys who
are much more appealing in best. Ball, like off the
top of my, head first guy thought of Was Quentin,
johnston a really hard guy to deal with in a
managed league because he's all over the. PLACE i, mean
he has some fantastic, games and he has some games
where he just doesn't show up or doesn't get. Targeted in, bastball,
Like Quentin johnston is a really nice piece and managed,

(59:42):
leagues he's just kind of a.

Speaker 3 (59:43):
Headache but that's more of a.

Speaker 1 (59:45):
Player the question's roster, Construction SO i wonder if he's
more a.

Speaker 3 (59:48):
Roster Construction i'm, sorry posticians or.

Speaker 1 (59:51):
That sort of, thing less than specific.

Speaker 4 (59:53):
Players, YEAH id, SO i MEAN i am in a
couple of best balldynasties and a couple of managed. DYNASTIES
i don't know that it really makes a giant difference
with roster. Construction, YEAH i, mean it's just sort of the.
Same the only thing In Best ball Sometimes i'll if

(01:00:17):
there's a problematic, Position i'll throw numbers at. It like
If i've, got you, know a kind of gross tight
end room where maybe my best guy, is like who
would be a bad like not Even, joe what's worse
Than Juwan? Johnson or you, know If i'm If i'm
looking at some disgusting tight end room where it's like

(01:00:40):
my best guy, was, like say last, YEAR i don't,
Know Mason taylor or something like, that Then i'm just
maybe like willing to pick up like kind of bum.

Speaker 3 (01:00:52):
Veterans and row numbers at the.

Speaker 4 (01:00:55):
Problem you, know pick up pick up guys like It
Tanja's favors Or Greg, dalcic who you, know if he
shows a pulse In, miami someone like. That it's really
about the only thing that moves the needle for. Me
as far as roster, CONSTRUCTION i don't really take a
different approach to that too. Much In Best ball AND i,

(01:01:16):
do assuming you've got you, know the standard twenty eight
thirty thirty two positions or roster spots to work.

Speaker 9 (01:01:23):
With so.

Speaker 3 (01:01:26):
That's all that.

Speaker 4 (01:01:26):
Got do we Miss bunting's question at the? TOP i
know that was one of the first ones that came.

Speaker 1 (01:01:31):
In tim's was first And buntings was, next which Was.

Speaker 3 (01:01:35):
I'm, sorry, OKAY i didn't See tim's totally miss.

Speaker 2 (01:01:38):
It if it's as zero faith in me to get
to the to the, questions he just never believes in. Me,
Yes tim's, Question cavid, first Then bunte which is what
we'll get you. Now grating his, trade he Traded flowers
For Kenneth walker says he couldn't get anything For, flowers
and thought process is When walker signed, somewhere we'll be
able to capitalize on that hype to get more out
of him than would get For. Flowers if you know

(01:01:59):
THAT I flowers the player a lot more THAN i
Like flowers the fantasy. Asset you, know typically in a, rebuild,
right it feels a little weird to trade a receiver
for a running, back But walker's value could take a
big step forward here depending on wearing. LANDS i think
it's a good bet to, make even Though flowers is
a good player in real.

Speaker 4 (01:02:14):
Life, LOOK i agree with our trade value chart on
the way we value those two, players AND i think
we've got a value of fifty three On flowers in
a value of fifty four On. Walker we gave him
two more points to upgrade him on the news that
he's probably not going back To. Seattle so, YEAH i
MEAN i in a, VACUUM i THINK i would rather

(01:02:34):
have With walker Than Jay flowers IF i were equal
strength at both wide receiver and running.

Speaker 3 (01:02:41):
Back So i'll give it A b plus BONTEK i,
DO i do.

Speaker 2 (01:02:44):
Wonder i'm curious to see How Declan, doyle the new
play caller In, baltimore Uses Jay flowers this. Year i'm
open to the possibility that it looks a little, Different but,
YES i would still make that. Trade klest says that
he currently even In, SUPERFLEX i believe is what he's saying,
here has the three wide receivers ahead Of.

Speaker 1 (01:03:01):
Mendoza is that, crazy?

Speaker 4 (01:03:03):
FITS i mean not if you don't Like mendoza as a.
PROSPECT i just happen to like him and think he's.
GOOD i like his ARM i think he's really, accurate
like his ball.

Speaker 3 (01:03:18):
Placement.

Speaker 4 (01:03:19):
Man that's what impressed me about him all this past
fall At, Indiana just like how he, could i, know
just kind of put the ball where he wanted to put. It,
Okay Elijas surat as good as he is not a
guy who gets a ton of. Separation he's more of
a contested catch, guy sort of a you, know Dimest
Mike evans and man like he was just he did

(01:03:43):
such a good job of putting it in places Where
sarat could go and get it without putting ros in.

Speaker 3 (01:03:49):
Danger plus he's just you, know really coachable and a
good processor and.

Speaker 4 (01:03:54):
Knows like not going to give you a lot of
value as a, runner but like knows when to escape
just pick up what he can with his. Legs LIKE
i really like the, Guys SO i do like him
more than all the, Receivers and you, know it's.

Speaker 3 (01:04:07):
Kind of a no brainer for.

Speaker 2 (01:04:08):
Me Cow bell is looking to upgrade his wide receiver
room this. Offseason T higgins worthy than a bunch of bench.
Warmers he is the one Ten i've been trying to
send t and the one ten for an. Upgrade guys
Like london And neighbors have not been. Reachable who is
a good realistic by, low he, says maybe Justin. Jefferson

(01:04:31):
he has a lot of running backs to package as,
well guys Like Kenneth, Walker Kiron, Williams, Scataboo Zach, Sharburney
Trey Van. Henderson any trade suggestions, There.

Speaker 3 (01:04:41):
Yeah i'm not trying to deal With higgins Like i'm
keeping him in one. Tent like the.

Speaker 4 (01:04:48):
The depth of this rookie, CLASS i, MEAN i would
have no issue throwing every pick at wide receiver in
this class BECAUSE i think it's. WARM i honestly have
Like i'm gonna have like nine receivers ahead of THE rb.

Speaker 3 (01:05:03):
TWO i think in this rookie.

Speaker 4 (01:05:04):
Class no good here to just throw darts at the rookies,
man because LIKE i don't, KNOW i was looking at
my rookie rankings and it goes down to about like
sixteen or seventeen BEFORE i start losing, interest you know
WHAT i? Mean like even down at let's see where

(01:05:25):
Is Bryce lance is wide receiver seventeen and he is
a big dude who runs. Fast he's basically Like Christian
watson coming out Of North Dakota state with a little
less production in, college and he's wide receiver, seventeen AND
i Like Skyler.

Speaker 3 (01:05:41):
Bellot wide receiver, eighteen and THEN i start to lose.
Interest then you.

Speaker 1 (01:05:45):
Get to your running back, Too, UH i got that.
CRAZY i do have like for sure.

Speaker 3 (01:05:56):
Eight to ten.

Speaker 4 (01:05:56):
Guys i'm probably gonna have a receiver ahead of the
running back, too and.

Speaker 2 (01:06:00):
You'll have eighteen to twenty guys ahead OF qb two
is What i'm.

Speaker 4 (01:06:04):
Hearing so, anyway the whole point being you can tackle
it in the rookie. Draft it's just kind of, hard
like you know and cow. BEELL i don't mean a you,
know if you have a torch drift on this, answer
but it's just without knowing other rosters and like you
know that you do have some running back, leverage but

(01:06:25):
it's just like find the neediest the running back neediest.

Speaker 3 (01:06:29):
Guys in your league and who is.

Speaker 4 (01:06:31):
There we're their receivers and that sort of narrows down
your range of guys to go for, it BECAUSE i
we can't just tell you to target this, guy target
that guy because like he.

Speaker 3 (01:06:40):
Might not be for sale on certain, teams you know
WHAT i? Mean, yeah like we Got Justin. Jefferson yeah, sorry, yeah, Yeah,
NO i was.

Speaker 2 (01:06:48):
Just gonna say we got to rapid fire through some
more questions here to get. Through, yeah the dat because
we're going. Long so from jack first rookie draft in
his ten Team dynasty, league he's at the one oh,
nine not super flex and not tie. Premium If sadik,
falls SHOULD i take? Him even if he already has
fan In pitts And kittle or just best receiver and
running back.

Speaker 4 (01:07:06):
AVAILABLE i would say Getting sadik at nine would be,
great you know otherwise right, now number nine in my
overall rankings Is Omar.

Speaker 3 (01:07:18):
Cooper that would be the firewall for, me Like Love.

Speaker 4 (01:07:23):
Mendoza, Tate, Lemon, Tyson, Concepcion, Sadik Boston.

Speaker 2 (01:07:28):
Cooper some of the other comments here are just kind
of responding to what we talked about. Earlier k last
Times ward easily one of the most Hateable. STEELERS i
strongly agree with. That let's, See, oh actually we might
not have had that many.

Speaker 1 (01:07:41):
More it looks like a lot of these were just
responding to what we had. EARLIER i, say what do
you think Of saquon this? Year it's going to be bounced?

Speaker 4 (01:07:51):
Back, YEAH i, MEAN i don't think he goes back
to having the year he had in twenty twenty. Four
it's something LIKE i would expect similar to what he
did in twenty twenty, five hardly getting a little long
in the.

Speaker 3 (01:08:05):
Two that have another spectacular.

Speaker 4 (01:08:07):
Season BUT i think he can still put up you,
know solid mid to low END rb one.

Speaker 2 (01:08:12):
Numbers are you going to change your ranking for him
in any, way shape or form based on stoutlind? Leaving
you know they no longer have the best offensive line
coach in the. League does that change it even a
little bit for?

Speaker 3 (01:08:26):
YOU i don't love, It BUT i, mean, LIKE i
haven't moved him down to my rankings because of that.
YET i don't. Know maybe i'll in the.

Speaker 4 (01:08:36):
Summer maybe that's Something i'll get all lathered up about
and move him down a little.

Speaker 3 (01:08:40):
Bit i've only got him at running back well right,
now so in, redraft, YEAH i don't. Know Maybe i'll
drop off a.

Speaker 1 (01:08:51):
Lot he's already nine in, consensus by the, way that's
in redraft.

Speaker 4 (01:08:54):
Rankings, yeah So i'm not super high on him to begin.
With i've got him Behind Jeremiah, Love, Breesaw Josh.

Speaker 2 (01:09:00):
Jacobs All, right we're wearing almost fifteen minutes, long so
we got to wrap up.

Speaker 6 (01:09:04):
