Speaker 1 (00:03):
Hello everybody.

Speaker 2 (00:04):
Welcome into the Fantasy Pros Dynasty Football podcast on our
YouTube channel, the Fantasy Pros Dynasty YouTube channel that is.
I'm Ryan Warmley, joined by Scott Bogman.

Speaker 1 (00:14):
Boggs.

Speaker 3 (00:14):
How you doing, Buddy, I'm doing great, man. Excited to
get a draft under the belt. Here.

Speaker 2 (00:19):
We're gonna have some fun doing a startup dynasty mock draft.
It is a super flex league against some listeners. We
sent out the tweet with the link to the draft room.
We also send this out on Discord if you want
to see these drafts and participate in the future. Discord
is a great place to do that, just as a
heads up. We post links in there all the time
and get folks to come in and see how they

(00:41):
do against the pros.

Speaker 1 (00:43):
Here.

Speaker 2 (00:44):
We haven't done a startup dynasty mock draft, Bogman, I
think together since like June of last year or something,
so it's been a minute. I'm curious to see how,
you know, all the twists and turns from the twenty
twenty five season maybe impact how this looks compared to
what it was last year.

Speaker 1 (01:00):
We'll have some fun. Like I said, it is super
flex twelve teams.

Speaker 2 (01:03):
We'll be drafting full starting lineups and then like seven
bench spots, no defenses or kickers. Here, I do want
to let everybody know that we're doing this draft within
our mock draft lobby. It's not open to the public
just yet, but you can complete a Dynasty mock in
minutes with no waiting between picks using our Dynasty Draft Simulator.
Customize your league settings to match your league's exact format.

(01:25):
Premium subscribers can test trade scenarios by mocking with their
traded draft picks. Prepare for rookie drafts and dynasty startup
drafts like this one in one place. Use the Dynasty
Draft Simulator to dominate your rookie draft today at fantasypros
dot com Slash simulator.

Speaker 1 (01:40):
Bagman, I'm going we have the draft pause here.

Speaker 2 (01:42):
I have the first pick, you have the twelfth pick, correct,
So we're on the turns here, all right.

Speaker 3 (01:47):
I'll get get it easy for us, Yes easy.

Speaker 2 (01:50):
I always get yelled at what I'm doing when I'm
hosting these because I will make some dumb strategical mistake
because I'm focused on hosting instead of making the picks.
So I always try to on the end so I
can get two in a row and then not think
about it.

Speaker 3 (02:03):
Yeah, that's just your excuse. Worm. We know you're a
bad drafter. Come on, just tell everybody it's fine.

Speaker 2 (02:08):
Yes, yes, but at least I have the excuse I
could fall back out here. So drafts get to start
here in just a few seconds. I've got the first pick.
I'm not overthinking it, Bogman. Josh Allen is still under thirty.
He's like a top two quarterback every single season. This
is super Flex, very easy pick for me at Alan.

Speaker 1 (02:24):
Would you consider.

Speaker 3 (02:26):
May or Daniels or Lamar if it were you, I mean,
you can consider those guys for sure, But I think
you're right, dude. I think it's definitely Josh Allen as
of right now.

Speaker 2 (02:35):
Yeah, when is the first spot that you would consider
not taking a quarterback in a startup for super Flex?
Because we see at the one oh three is Jamar Chase,
so we already have a non QB off the board.
To me, I'm not even considering it till a little
bit later. I'm taking Alan, Lamar in May without hesitation,
and probably Daniels.

Speaker 1 (02:51):
Two. Would you go a non quarterback as early as
three or would you wait?

Speaker 3 (02:55):
Also? No, I'd take Burrow ahead as well, and then
I would consider Jamar Chase after that. But in superflex man,
just the math even in a twelve man league says
you need to have a quarterback with one of your
first two picks, So you can skip it at three,
but then you know that you're it's gonna be slim
pickens by the time it gets back to you. So

(03:15):
I try to take quarterback initially, which is why I
put myself at twelve, because I know a lot of
quarterbacks are gonna be gone and it's gonna kind of
limit my options here a little bit, So that is
why I did that. I think the first mock you
should kind of try to push yourself a little bit
and then you know, I'll know if I get picked twelve,
that is absolutely not where I want to draft. Yeah,

(03:37):
eat this team.

Speaker 2 (03:38):
It's one thing to skip it if you have like
the ninth pick and know you're going to get another
one soon, to skip QB at the third pick, I respect.
I mean, Jamar Chase is awesome, of course, and I
think he's the right guy to be that pick, but
it's a long wait to getting your first QB, and
that's it's.

Speaker 3 (03:53):
A mack too, So you play it, sure, you know
you play a little bit, you see. All right, I'm
gonna try this. Maybe I'm gonna be queazy by the
time it's done, but I'm gonna at least take a look.

Speaker 1 (04:03):
Who are you most hoping gets to you? At twelve?

Speaker 3 (04:06):
It's probably gonna have to be a combo of a
position player and a quarterback just because of the lack
of quarterbacks here.

Speaker 2 (04:13):
So nine picks in and just Chase was the only
non QB taken. We finally have another one here at
pick ten at JSN.

Speaker 3 (04:20):
Yeah, that's that hurts our guy, buddy, But oh and
pooka one pick ahead of me. Oh man, that's aggravating.
All right, Well here I'm gonna go with I'm kind
of a cell on Jalen Hurts. I really like what
Trevor Lawrence did last season, so he's gonna be one
of my picks here. And with the premium wide receivers going,

(04:41):
I'm gonna take Bjon and see what it looks like.

Speaker 1 (04:44):
This is a three wide receiver league.

Speaker 2 (04:46):
Just to point out fits Austin talks about on our show,
like the difference in how he's valuing a receiver in
a two receiver league versus three. The way I've said
up these settings is three receivers and a flex in
addition to the super flex. Of course, you take the
first running back off the board in that first round.
Does anybody stand out to we have a comment here
about Patrick Mahomes going in the first round is crazy.
Obviously that wouldn't have been it would be crazy to

(05:08):
call that crazy just a couple of years ago. But
at this point, it's been so many years since this
offense has looked, you know, in sync. They need a
lot of help at a lot of positions, and he's
coming off the ACL. So do you think it's crazy
to take him in the first No.

Speaker 3 (05:22):
I don't think I would take him ahead of Caleb
Williams who went after him, and Justin Herbert went after
him because of the age and the injury, right, So
I would probably take those two guys ahead of him.
But I don't think it's crazy to have him in
the first round again because of the just the simple
math that comes with drafting in his super flex and
the lack of quarterbacks here. So I would say it's

(05:44):
not crazy for him to go in the first But
I probably would not have taken him at seven overall,
would have taken Caleb and Herbert ahead of him.

Speaker 2 (05:51):
What do you think about bunting and going with JSN
and CD Lamb and totally not taking any qbs in
the first two rounds.

Speaker 3 (05:57):
I mean, I think it's a swing. It's not a
swing that I would do, But I guess the strategic
difference in a long term in a dynasty league would
be like, look, I'm gonna take a quarterback in the
third round, guaranteed, right because I just I have to,
because I only took one as well, so he knows
I need one also, So I think that third pick

(06:17):
for sure is going to be a quarterback.

Speaker 2 (06:20):
Let me ask you this too, if you're taking a
non QB, would you rather have gone Lamb like he did,
or Gibbs or Jefferson? Who are the next two non
qbs off the board?

Speaker 3 (06:27):
I think any of those guys is fine, right right,
Like the running backs have a I think Gibbs is
the best player, but running backs have the shorter life,
so I think taking Ceedee Lamb there is fine. But
I think that this strategy goes to the strength of
the quarterback class next year. This is kind of a Hey, look,
I'm gonna take my wide receivers. It's a three wide
receiver league. I'll figure out quarterback with one in the third,

(06:50):
and then he's probably gonna be spending that first round
pick in his rookie draft next year on a quarterback.
That's probably what it is unless some of these quarters,
I mean quarterbacks are falling. We saw Gibbs and Jefferson
and a monra Go, and I think we're gonna have
a glut of non qbs go. I say that as
Jordan Love goes a couple of picks in front of you.
You're you're up here? Who you who you waiting for?

Speaker 1 (07:11):
And Drake Well, I was looking a few different directions.
I'm probably not gonna go quarterback here.

Speaker 2 (07:15):
I am definitely okay with taking two qbs like in
the first surrounds and just feeling settled there. But Alan
is so good that it gives you a little more
wiggle room there.

Speaker 1 (07:26):
So you know, there's a lot of running backs. I
like it. I typically don't take them pretty early.

Speaker 2 (07:30):
Before I take a running back, though, I am going
to take my weak neighbors, just like a really really
good receiver. Pairy came with Josh Allen on my roster.
I'm gonna feel good for many years at you know,
the key positions there. Truthfully, bagman, I'm toying with the
idea of going with Bowers and just saying, like, let
me have a stud at three different positions here to
start things off. There are a lot of running backs

(07:51):
I like. I actually kind of like late second round
for a running back here. You know, it's a mock.
I'm gonna have fun. I'm gonna go with Bowers.

Speaker 3 (07:55):
Yeah, yeah, do it. Yeah. I like that, you know,
play around with a little bit. You know, I'm sure
you're gonna watch the quarterbacks go and get queasy.

Speaker 2 (08:04):
But having Alan is such a buffer there against like
whoever you'r QB two is, you know you're getting it.
He's the most sure fire stud quarterback we have in fantasy.
So I'm very if I had anybody else, if I
had Jane Daniels or Patrick Mahomes or Caleb, I'm taking
QB in my next two picks. Alan is the one
scenario where I'm willing to be a little more I

(08:27):
guess risky there and not take a QB with the
second one. So I do go Milik, Neighbors and Bowers.
I just love the idea too of having like, hey,
I've got like a potential Tier one dynasty wide receiver.
I know I have a Tier one tight end. I
know I have a Tier one QB. I'm enjoying kind
of spreading out the love there.

Speaker 3 (08:44):
And I was.

Speaker 1 (08:44):
Considering a running back.

Speaker 2 (08:45):
Three running backs go with the next three picks, Ashon Genti,
Ameron Hampton, Devon a Chant. I don't hate those at
all because I was considering them as well. Did you
have a favorite of those three running backs that if
you were going running back in that range you would
have taken.

Speaker 3 (08:56):
Yeah, I mean it's still genty for me. I just
think that the offense is going to improve a lot.
There goes to Trey McBride. A lot of non quarterbacks
going here. I know that Ray and Jack and Lazy
Boy all have two quarterbacks, so they're going to be
taking non qbs. But it's interesting because the first four picks,

(09:17):
you know, the top three had quarterbacks, and none of
you guys have two quarterbacks right now, which I think
is interesting. So there are a couple that are slipping
and again Jeremiah Love and Nico Collins Go.

Speaker 1 (09:31):
I was curious where Love was.

Speaker 2 (09:32):
Going to go in a startup, not knowing his landing
spot right now, Bogman, do you think mid third is
the right spot for the first rookie.

Speaker 3 (09:39):
Yeah, I think this is the group that he belongs in,
right like him and James Cook. I think it's a
coin flip right now. So I would probably still lean
towards James Cook just because he's on such a healthy
offense right but I think this is about the range
that he needs to start going is in the middle
of the third in a startup.

Speaker 2 (09:58):
Bunting's probably feeling pretty good here not taking a quarterback
in those first two. Only four quarterbacks went between his
last pick in this one, so if he wants to
go that direction, he will certainly have some choices here,
maybe more than I expected him to have getting back
to this point, because so far in the third round,
not a single quarterback has gone in the first nine
picks Dowers, gent Hampton, h and McBride, Love, Collins, Cook

(10:21):
and Teo McMillan and now Garrett Wilson.

Speaker 1 (10:24):
So Buntings he's going with the.

Speaker 2 (10:26):
Strong receiver approach her three receivers with the first three picks,
so we're two picks away. Dak Prescott goes get. We
have a quarterback off the board here in round three,
late round three for Prescott, I like quite a bit man.

Speaker 3 (10:38):
Yeah, great value here. Oh I hate this all right,
So I'm gonna take I have to have a wide receiver.
As you mentioned, this is yeah, I'm gonna take another
wide receiver. I'm gonna go Pickings and I'm gonna go Aguca.
So I still don't have my second quarterback, but only
one win in the third round, so I'm willing to wait.
I know a bunch are gonna go here, and I'm
gonna be left with whatever's at the bottom. But I

(11:00):
think getting Pickings at Buca be Sean and Trevor Lawrence
the starters, is too good of a start at the
end for me to pass up.

Speaker 2 (11:08):
I might have taken the Lave over Igbuka. Were you
considering a Lave at all or was that an easy choice?

Speaker 3 (11:13):
No, that's an easy choice for me, and it's not
in terms of skill. I think you're right. I think
they're both right there. And maybe you leaned a little
bit more towards o Lave because we've seen him do
it for multiple seasons, and egg Buka really did hit
the rookie wall, but his rookie wall also came with
Baker Mayfield's injury issues and Mike Evans might be gone
this year, so and he doesn't have that concussion history

(11:35):
that Chris o'lave has. So that's why the concussion industry
is really what makes it easy for me that I
would take uh egg Buka. That goes Carnell Tape.

Speaker 2 (11:43):
As say, by the way, Bunting still no quarterback. He
takes Jonathan Taylor to fare with those receivers, and then
Cardinal Tate. I wanted to ask, and I was waiting
till obviously one of them happened. Jeremiah Love I was thinking,
was probably gonna go off the board in round three,
the first rookie receiver. I was really curious to see
where they had up going. So I'll ask you the
same question that I asked about Love. Carnel Tait, is

(12:04):
that the right spot for him?

Speaker 3 (12:06):
It might still be a little bit early for him,
but not crazierly like I think I still would have
taken Roma Dune say over him. Rashid Rice obviously has
off the field issues, so maybe we don't know where
AJ Brown is. Maybe right, I think I still would
have taken T Higgins ahead of him as well, and

(12:27):
Brian Thomas I think is a coin flip. So the
range is fine, maybe close to the end of the
fourth instead of the middle of the fourth.

Speaker 2 (12:35):
On Love, who I just mentioned, we got a question
for fantasy meatball. What would be a bad landing spot
for Jeremiah Love, like sort of a lah genty last year,
not going to you know, bad offense, bad offensive line.
Is there an equivalent in the range that Love is
going to go this year? I'm trying to think off
the top of my head, like maybe the Titans, but
at least they have the quarterback.

Speaker 3 (12:54):
No, I think that would be fine. The only scenario
that I really wouldn't like for him is probably the Giants,
right because of Skataboo, And I like Skataboo, and I
think you know, it would just it would ruin Skataboo,
which I hate. By the way, you're up CJ. Stroud
and T Higgins right in front of you, so but
it would ruin Skattaboo, which I'd hate, and I think

(13:15):
it might eat into Love's touchdown upside. So that's the
scenario I wouldn't like.

Speaker 1 (13:21):
I think I'm gonna take a swing on a bounce
back from Thomas. I mean, this is a guy who
was a.

Speaker 2 (13:26):
First round picking startups a year ago, so late fourth
I'm certainly happy to do that pairing with Malik Neighbors.

Speaker 1 (13:32):
Question now is do I get my first running back?

Speaker 2 (13:34):
Like, unless you really are buying into Henderson, getting it
more of an opportunity than you're kind of taking a
swing on like an older guy. I could take another
receiver like kind of lean into the wind now, aj Brown,
you know, Makai Lemon I do like, or I could
take the second quarterback. I think I'm gonna take this
swing on Mendoza and just say he's gonna be the
first overall pick here. I love the pairing of Mendoza

(13:55):
with Clint Kubiak, so to get him as my QB
two with some real up side, I think I think
there's a chance that he's going a lot higher if
he does prove to be worthy of this one oh
one in his rookie season. I like the player, and
I like that he feels a little bit more of
a safer option. I can't see that for a rookie,
but a generally safer option that I con pair with

(14:16):
the super high upside of Josh Allen. So I've got
two receivers, two qbs, and a tight end. Before we
get to these next couple of picks, I want to
let everybody know that if they want a chance to
win a Colston Loveland signed Bears Miny helmet for free
courtesy of our friends at Pristineauction dot com, all you
have to do is subscribe to the Fantasy Pros Dynasty
YouTube channel right now, drop a comment below at any

(14:37):
of our videos, and that is it will be announcing
a winner right here on the channel. So make sure
to turn on those notifications so you know when new
videos are up and to claim your prize. Again, that's
a Colston Loveland sign Bears Many helmet, all right. So
Mendoza goes at the top of the fifth round, then
cam Ward right after Trayvon Henderson, Jared Goff, Christian McCaffrey

(14:58):
or she Rice, Chase Brown or now the five o eight.
Anybody's first four picks stand out to you that you
kind of like better than others, Bagman.

Speaker 3 (15:05):
I mean, I really like taking two qbs, so I
like lazy Boys start with Herbert and Dart and Tet
and Ladd. I think that's a really good one. He's
on the clock right now as well, the Burrow, Purty
Love Loveland and Rice start it's risky, and the wide receivers,
but I really like.

Speaker 1 (15:25):
That's a start and start. I like that one a lot.

Speaker 3 (15:28):
Yeah, and then Sean at the end with Pooka and
Olave Sandwich by Hertz and Prescott. It's a pretty decent
start as well. So yeah, there's some really good ones.
Is Bunting finally gonna take a QB here? We'll see
well he makes that decision. What do you think about
Burden going five O eight?

Speaker 2 (15:41):
Obviously Dj Moore just gets traded this morning, opening up
more opportunities for Burden. I mean, this is a guy
that our colleague Pat fitz Morris has as a top
twelve Dynasty receiver right now. So second half of the
fifth round, that's a huge steal. I'll let you make
your pick first before you jump into it.

Speaker 3 (15:56):
I mean that is it's just it's so smart, like,
very very good pick there, hold on, I gotta do
uh So Rome is an easy one for me. The
second one I'm having a hard time with But I'm
no risk and no biscuit and I'm on the end
here give me Malik. Uh So, now at two young

(16:18):
qbs with Trevor Lawrence and Malik Willis Bejeon Pickens, a
Mecha Buka and rom A Dune, say I am love
talk about upside? Yeah, yeah, Look he's buried right. People
haven't adjusted him quite yet in their rankings, so ECR,
he's down there. And if he you know, the rumor
right now is Malik Willis to the Cardinals, right, Well,

(16:40):
if he goes to the Cardinals, yes, they have problems
with the offensive line, but they have McBride, they have Harrison,
they have Michael Wilson. They're talking about adding Jeremiah Love
at pick number three as well. They still have James
Connor and Trey Benson on this roster. So you put
Malik Willis with that team if they get the offensive
line issues solid and the defense is still pretty car

(17:00):
I mean, you have a potential fantasy stud. So I'm
very excited to see what Malik Willis has and he's
one of the few qbs on the board with youth
and upside still here.

Speaker 2 (17:12):
Well, kayle Lemon goes off here. I was wondering when
these next rookie receivers are gonna go. I find it
kind of interesting that tit is basically two full rounds
ahead of any of the other rookie receivers. We just
taped the show with Fits earlier today Boglin where we
talked about how there's not much separation between these top
three rookie receivers. There is reflected in this startup draft.
So do you feel it's more that Tate went a

(17:32):
little early? I know you said you kind of felt
that way, or that you think Lemon and Tyson are
maybe falling further than they should think.

Speaker 3 (17:39):
I think it's maybe a little bit of a combo,
but I think it's more that Tate went early, because
you know, look at the guys that went immediately after Tate,
Higgins and Brian Thomas both that I mentioned. I mentioned
Rice and Burden as well, and then it's like, okay,
if you want to put him in the group with
Harrison and o'doonza and Waddle, I think that's more appropriate.
So maybe just a little bit of rookie high on Tait.

(18:00):
But I mean, the guy is a stud and he
could ascend very quickly. I think maybe the cost is
a bit much because Jordan Tyson just went at what that.

Speaker 2 (18:10):
I was gonna take Tyson if you got a few
more spots six nine, I was gonna take him.

Speaker 3 (18:14):
Yeah, that's a good one. So yeah, I mean, you're
up in three picks. Who are you looking for?

Speaker 2 (18:18):
Well, I was gonna say a receiver, But as you
might notice if you're watching this on YouTube, seven straight
receivers have gone off the board. Lemon Wattle, Brown Flowers,
Jameson Williams, Tyson, and DeVante Smith. I was going to
take one of them, and they all are gone. So
I got a pivot here. If I hadn't taken Mendoza
last round, I would be maybe thinking about Darnold here.
I actually think kind of undervalued. I don't have a

(18:40):
running back yet because I have Josh Allen on my team.
I'm kind of a win now team, So I think
just kind of given the build, I'm just gonna take
Kiren Williams. We keep we keep talking about his demise,
and it hasn't happened yet. Right Like, nobody's taken over
that backfield so far. So as my RB one, considering
my strength elsewhere. I'm happy to take him and just
kind of get that settled. I'd like to take a receiver,

(19:03):
you know, but I don't love some of the guys
at the top of the list right now, so you're
kind of just taking a risk with whoever you take.
I'm going to take an upside swing on Ricky Piersall.
I think there's a world where this looks really low
a year from now. I mean, there's opportunity in San Francisco.
It's a good offense. He's gonna have an opportunity to
catch a lot of targets if he stays on the field.
And he's a talented guy, so if he stays on

(19:25):
the field, I think that's gonna look really nice as
my wide receiver.

Speaker 1 (19:27):
Three.

Speaker 2 (19:27):
I would have preferred it was DeVonta Smith or Tyson
Orse or one of these guys who just went right
before me. But I'm happy with Pearsall as a kind
of a fallback option, a consolation prize.

Speaker 3 (19:39):
Yeah, I feel like I just queued up a bunch
of players and here they come off the board immediately.
Because I had just queued up Kyroen and Pearsaw and
Fannin and Craft, and they are the next four picks
in a row here.

Speaker 2 (19:52):
It's tough when you pick on the end, Bogman, you
gotta wait like twenty two picks between you.

Speaker 1 (19:57):
It's a long time to go.

Speaker 2 (19:58):
You have to change your strategy reach on guys because
if you know, you know, if you don't reach, they're
not falling to you.

Speaker 3 (20:03):
Well, you after drafting Kyrone, are you gonna prioritize getting
quorum or maybe even Charquez Hunter just to back up
Kyen since.

Speaker 2 (20:14):
I'm not gonna force it, and I might, I might
do a slight reach to get them.

Speaker 3 (20:17):
It's hard to force it on the end too. That's
more of like a middle like a six to seven
pick six seven eight, someone like that.

Speaker 1 (20:23):
Yeah, I want totally my bad.

Speaker 2 (20:27):
So color of ficks that go out to board here. Jacobs,
Jordan Addison. We are roughly halfway through, almost halfway through
the draft here, like even setting out of the names. Positionally,
this is the type of build I usually have through
my first six ish rounds. Is you know, let's say
call it seven rounds. Is three receivers, one running back,

(20:47):
a tight end. If I decided to reach there in
two quarterbacks, that's generally the kind of positional breakdown I
have at this point in the draft. I'm not one
who typically would go heavy on running backs. You know,
we have like Bulldogs as three running backs already. That's
just not the approach End to take. Obviously, want to
make sure you have multiple qbs there.

Speaker 1 (21:03):
I think if we were.

Speaker 2 (21:04):
Playing this out and it wasn't a mock, I would
even have been open to taking a third QB my
last time at the turn. I just really want to
have three guys that I like and not have to
think about the position, because it's it's never cheap to
get quarterbacks after the start. The cheapest time to get
quarterbacks is always a startup. We talk about her all
the time. Tight End run going here. Bogman fan and Kraft,
Laporta and Pits are off the board. Your boy, Scataboo,

(21:26):
lazy boy must have known you were drafting soon Ata,
who I think is actually pretty.

Speaker 1 (21:31):
Good value here at late seventh Vultures. I like that
a lot.

Speaker 3 (21:34):
Everyone's taking my players get off of my list. Tight
End here all right, So I'm gonna take DK with
one just as a like, let's get a better scheme,
and I hope it gets way better. My second one
is a guy that got hurt at the end of
last year. But I just think if Kenneth Walker is
going to be off of this team, Zach Charmonay when

(21:56):
he gets back and healthy, is going to be such
a good value here. And he's going late, I know,
because of the injury, and you never know about these
guys coming off major injuries and stuff like that. But
Seattle's offensive line is fixed. Saan Darnod looked great. Everything
was flowing nicely. So I think if Walker is gone

(22:17):
that sharbon A is going to soar once he gets
back and healthy. So kind of a value pick here
and laid and the board didn't go the way I wanted,
But I like that pick.

Speaker 2 (22:27):
Budding just like absolutely spitting on anybody who says they
want to take you gotta take QBS early. He goes
with Derrick Henry by the way, just because he took
sharbon Ay. I liked the Kenneth Walker pick at five
to eleven. I thought that was a really good. Yeah,
he might get an opportunity to really shine and talk
about supers.

Speaker 3 (22:43):
I still think he needs someone next to him. He
needs a Charbona. He doesn't need them vaulturing every single touchdown, right,
But he needs someone next to him to not have
an extensive workload because he tends to break down when
he has that. So I do think that there's limited
upside and Walker. I feel like in most cases he's
being overdrafted, but I think he went appropriately in ours.

(23:07):
Here in this draft, we.

Speaker 2 (23:08):
Have a question here from Jake who just subscribed. Thank
you so much for subscribing, Jake. We're happy to have
you here. He was we were getting closer to Harvey
Skataboo territory. Those guys are now off the board here.
Did he panic sell them in a Dynasty League for
one O eight, one ten and two O two? What
do you think about that, Bogman for those three picks
Harvey and Scataboo.

Speaker 3 (23:29):
Yeah, I think maybe if it's for this class, probably
a little bit like Skataboo, I don't mind selling now
because he's coming off of major injury and right now
his value is low because we're hearing Giants rumors about
Jeremiah Love and potentially adding a running back and all that,
and it's a new coaching staff, so you just never know.
Even though Skataboo kind of proved himself last year that

(23:49):
maybe he needs to go down. But I think R. J.
Harvey is going to be the lead back for Denver
this year. They're gonna draft somebody else.

Speaker 2 (23:56):
They were in trading for David Montgomery there, They're going
to add to that for sure, don't I don't want
to trust John Paid.

Speaker 1 (24:02):
I actually do like it.

Speaker 2 (24:03):
I'm not saying it's like a okay plus best trade ever,
but we just did a show talking about rookie rankings.

Speaker 1 (24:08):
Bagman.

Speaker 2 (24:09):
I think you can get like a Kenyan Sadik or
at least in the last hours here. If you have
a tight end need, you can take Nomar Cooper with
that one away one ten like the two O two.
Maybe he's not great, you can take a swing on
like a Jendarium price with Joanah Coleman.

Speaker 3 (24:21):
So and running backs are okay to sell, right, yes,
because they're almost time a dozen.

Speaker 2 (24:26):
Yeah, I'm nervous enough about those players that I like.
I'm on the clock here. I talked about it earlier.
I'm gonna I am gonna take Donald I just think
that's too good of a value. He's been like a
top fourteen QB two years in a row. Here, I
want to believe in him in a super flex league
even if he's not a starter for me, and by
the way, he might be if Mendoza struggles early, that
gives me a little bit of a buffer with Mendoza

(24:47):
on the team. So I think Donald is just very
good value for what he's given us the last couple
of years in a super flex format and then looking elsewhere.
Speaking of rookies, I'm gonna take Denzel Boston ninth round.
Fields like a good shot for guy who's a top
five receiver in this class. Rookie receivers always gain value.

Speaker 1 (25:03):
It is like like you.

Speaker 2 (25:03):
Have to be pretty bad for it not to happen.
This might be like a top sixteen pick. We'll see
how it plays out, but he's gonna get good draft capital.
I expect ninth round and he's my wide receiver four
still little if you at running backs, but I'm pretty
happy with that. Before we get to the next couple
of picks here, today's show is brought to you by
our presenting sponsor, hard Rock. Bet Florida's sports book marches

(26:41):
gambling problem called one hundred gambler In Arizona, Colorado, Illinois, Michigan,
New Jersey, Ohio, Tennessee, Virginia.

Speaker 2 (26:47):
Yeah, bog, but I kind of moved through quickly, but
just to kind of wrap up the conversation on Jake's trade. Yeah,
Like it's always good to move off of running backs,
especially if there's a question mark Scattaboo's health. If they
draft love R. J. Harvey, easy, you can get the
true opportunities. So that's why I like it a little
bit more than you just wanted to kind of put
a bow on that point.

Speaker 1 (27:04):
A bunch of names coming off here, on the board
in round nine.

Speaker 2 (27:07):
Don't know how many of these guys you had in
your que Bogman, DeAndre Swift, Higgin's Kittl, DeVante Adams, Mnong guy.

Speaker 3 (27:12):
I like that.

Speaker 1 (27:12):
Pick a lot, Bryce Young, Kenyan Sadik, I like that.
Pick a lot. Oh, and Budge finally took a quarterback.

Speaker 2 (27:17):
He takes the Vilo opportunity on Kyler Murray here around nine.
Then Michael Wilson, and then you take Michael Pittman here.

Speaker 3 (27:24):
Yeah. Pittman uh has been on my cue for a
little bit. So I like that. And then I'm going
back and forth. I think I'm just gonna take the
you know what, now I'm gonna I'm gonna take the
older guy. But I think the workload is gonna be enormous.
Give me David Montgomery, and that helps me this season
with Zach Charbonay being down for what is likely a
big chunk of the beginning of the season. But now, my,

(27:47):
you know, I have plenty of wide receivers. I got five.
I've got Pickens at Buca, Odoonza, Metcalf and Pittman, and
that gives me three running backs as well. With Bijon
Charboney and Montgomery. So Dj Moore, who went immediately after
I picked Montgomery, was another player.

Speaker 1 (28:06):
I like that a lot.

Speaker 2 (28:07):
I considered more at the nine ozho one I opted
for the rookie just upside there. But there's upside with
Dj Moore now that he's paired with an elite quarterback.
Plus I would get the stack with him and Josh
Allen lazy boy.

Speaker 3 (28:16):
Taking Kenyan Sidik ahead of me really hurt because now
I don't have a tight end, and then there's just
not a lot.

Speaker 2 (28:22):
I like Sidike going ahead of Kittle a lot, just
giving the injury and age of Kittle. Like obviously Kittle
is like still higher in most rankings right now, but
I think that might look silly a year from now,
just given the level of severe injury he's recovering from
and his age and the way he plays. I mean,
Kittle's awesome, but I like Sidik going a few spots later.

Speaker 1 (28:41):
I think that's a really good value.

Speaker 2 (28:42):
Korum goes here. I was going to ta Korum next
to try and get in with Kyen. Oh he goes
to the one auto draft team.

Speaker 3 (28:48):
Wow.

Speaker 2 (28:50):
Alec Pearce I think is a great pick too. Here
in the tenth round, just given that he might get
a pretty nice contract here and get some real operation.

Speaker 3 (28:58):
You know, he performed so well with Philip Rivers down
the stretch as well. He had two wide receiver one
finishes in PPR with Philip Rivers as the quarterback. So yeah,
I think that was really kind of the turning point
for me. I was like, oh man, him and Daniel
Jones have a great connection. No, he also had it
with He also had it with Philip Rivers. So I
think Alec Pearson is gonna be good regardless of where

(29:18):
he lands.

Speaker 1 (29:19):
Yeah, I'm a big fan.

Speaker 2 (29:20):
I think those picks back to back Blake corm Alec
Pierce look really nice here, DJ Moore, David Montgomery. The
round ten has been pretty strong. I think Godwin goes
so I am now up. I still only have one
running back. First up, I'm gonna take Tyler Alsier because
there's a chance he gets some real opportunity now that
he's not behind b Jon Robinson, and depending on where
he goes, I could be pretty interested in him. Definitely

(29:43):
either going to take a running back or receiver next.
I don't love a lot of the receivers that I'm
looking at here.

Speaker 3 (29:49):
And maybe Jane Reed, Yeah, I.

Speaker 2 (29:52):
Just don't I'm not excited about that. I think maybe
i'd take a second a third running back here. You
know what I'm gonna say, Woody Marks, I think about
a round later than David Montgomery is fine. He's going
to have some opportunity still in that offense. Montgomery hasn't
been like a lead back in many years, so I
wouldn't be surprised if they get some split opportunities.

Speaker 1 (30:11):
And I don't know that he's that great.

Speaker 2 (30:13):
Like I'm not like over the mood about Woody Marx,
but considering my team is stronger elsewhere as an RB three,
given who's on the board here, I mean I could
have gone with a rookie. Let me, guy, would you
rather have gone with Woody Marx or insert your favorite
rookie running back not named Jeremiah Love, whether it's Coleman
or Price or whoever?

Speaker 1 (30:29):
Would you rather Marks or one of those guys.

Speaker 3 (30:31):
I think I probably would have taken Coleman ahead of him,
Price ahead of him. But I will say this for
Woody Marx, like there's a lot of youth. He has
a ton of experience now which he just didn't have
coming in. I mean, but most leagues are PPR, right,
So if you think of like Danny Woodhead an Austin Eckler,

(30:55):
guys built in that mold for PPR leagues, Woody Marks
is that guy.

Speaker 1 (30:58):
You know.

Speaker 3 (30:59):
He played in Misisippi State under Mike Leach where they
passed the ball a lot. It was a great receiving back,
and that's why he ended up at USC was because
he was so good. They're catching passes at Mississippi State.
So I think for PPR leagues, he's a sneaky underrated pick.

Speaker 2 (31:14):
Yeah, And I feel like I maybe like some of
these rookies a little bit better than the NFL does,
And we talked about this in the show too. The
fact that the Texans gave up what they did for
David Montgomery and that there were other teams tried to
outbid them kind of tells me that the league is
not really all that interested in these sort of Round
three ish running backs. I do like Jonah Coleman, I

(31:34):
do like Jadarian Price. Mike Washington obviously sold the show
of the Combine, so I think maybe if I was
aiming for a little bit more upside, I probably should
have gone a rookie there, But I do think Woody
Mark's fits what a lot of Dynasty leagues are and
I'm so comfortable with him there. I really liked the
Algier pick. I was very happy with that one. The
second running back there, I was more kind.

Speaker 3 (31:53):
Of so good, like I have a sneaky queue, I
feel like, and Tyler Algier was one of the four
guys in it. So the other three are still on
the board.

Speaker 2 (32:03):
Though, Wait, what do you think about Travis Hunter going
middle of round eleven?

Speaker 1 (32:06):
I just like, I just don't want to be a
part of this. I don't want in.

Speaker 3 (32:11):
Yeah, look, there's still a lot of upside there, and
I don't think that the final chapter has been written
by any stretch of the imagination on Travis Hunter. So
he's a risk for sure. Just looking at the wide
receivers around this area. Let's see, the top of the
board is Shakir Downs. I mean, I think I even

(32:32):
would have taken Mike Evans or Chewan Jennings ahead of him,
maybe Stefan Diggs, but I understand it. It is an
absolute lottery ticket pick. And I think, you know, once
we're in round eleven, that's more than fine. Yeah, so
I think this is just an easy pick for me,

(32:52):
and I talked about him a little bit earlier. Kenneth
Gainwell going somewhere. I think he was just so great
for Pittsburgh last year, and then since McCarthy went to
Bunting thanks a lot Bunting, by the way, which I
love what he did with Kyler, Murray, Stafford and McCarthy.
I will take your boy Isaiah Likely.

Speaker 2 (33:10):
Here, Oh my favorite. I love I love Likely in
the twelfth I think that's great. I think it is
not a guarantee. I've talked about this on the show
a lot, but there is a world where he's a
Tier two tight end in Dynasty this time of year
from now.

Speaker 1 (33:21):
So I did in twelfth round. I think that's awesome.

Speaker 3 (33:23):
I like tight End.

Speaker 2 (33:24):
I mean I wanted to take Bowers right and kind
of take that the number one guy. But if I
didn't go that approach, I really am comfortable waiting at
tight end. There's a lot of names in that glom
of Tier two that are maybe not difference makers, but
that I quite like some of the upside for a
lot of these guys. So I like like and obviously
Likely going even later than those I was going to
ask you, so, do you you do like the Kyler

(33:45):
Stafford McCarthy trio for a guy who waited, you know,
nine rounds to take his first QB.

Speaker 3 (33:51):
Yeah, knowing that next year's QB classes looking to be
deep as well. And I know everyone says you and
you and Fitz and I just talked about this. Everyone says, well,
that's what we said about this here. Yeah, but a
lot of the guys that we thought were gonna be
great in this class decided to stay in for twenty seven,
plus the guys that aren't eligible until twenty seven. So

(34:12):
I think next year's class is going to be really great.
So I like this strategy of hey, let me just
fill in my roster with BPA for the first ten
rounds and then I'll figure out quarterback after that, which
is basically what Buntig did here.

Speaker 2 (34:25):
I do like Jonah Coleman going here, Eli Stowers going
to the same team of as Sadik so lazy boy
leaning into the rookie tight end here. He also is
Mike Washington and Makai Lemons.

Speaker 3 (34:35):
So very grim took one of my my secret picks
here at Parker Washington.

Speaker 2 (34:39):
Washington was highlighted for me for my next you know
at the turn here.

Speaker 3 (34:43):
Yeah, he's just lowering the rankings because you know, it's
the off season. People haven't quite adjusted yet. But great
pick there.

Speaker 2 (34:50):
I thought it is starting to get into rage of
like not feeling super hot about a lot of options here.

Speaker 1 (34:57):
I mean there are names.

Speaker 2 (34:58):
I was Mike Evans, yeah, but yeah, it's it's not
as quite exciting as you would maybe hope. I think
I will probably be leaning pretty heavy into rookies. Not
that every pick will be rookie the rest of the way,
but that is more of the names of just kind
of taking that upside swing that I'm kind of more
intrigued by, you know, the Omar Coopers of the world.
You know, Jendarian Price hasn't gone yet some of those guys.

(35:20):
We'll see how it ends up playing out, but that's
kind of what I'm thinking right now. Yeah, and then
the first price goes there.

Speaker 3 (35:27):
Yeah, but I think that's the correct approach here, is
to go when in doubt, go youth. For sure.

Speaker 2 (35:34):
I'm going to take the last guy that I'm really
confident is a first round wide receiver in the NFL draft,
and that's Omar Cooper.

Speaker 1 (35:40):
I'm very happy to get him late late in the twelfth.

Speaker 3 (35:43):
That's a great pick here. So and I feel like
there's a lot of value a wide receiver right now,
but that is a great pick even with value.

Speaker 2 (35:51):
Yeah, I definitely wanted to make sure I got this
one ride receiver here at this turn.

Speaker 1 (35:54):
I'm interested in a running back, but I'm going.

Speaker 2 (35:56):
To take I know, I know that is tagged, but
I'm still gonna take Braylan Allen, super young, talented guy.
You never know what might end up happening long term
with with Brees Hall, So I'll take Alan here.

Speaker 1 (36:11):
What do you think about that?

Speaker 3 (36:12):
I mean, that's fine. Are what's so Braylan Allen does
nothing right? What you miss out on Josh Downs? Yeah?
You know what I mean? Like, you're fine. I think
that's an appropriate I.

Speaker 2 (36:25):
Would have taken if I didn't have such a good
first tight end. I would have considered a Terrence Ferguson,
a Mason Taylor, one of these guys. Like, there are
some tight ends that I'm still interested in. I'm not
going to draft it back up one because why bother
I'm never starting. I mean, in a real startup draft,
I would, but in a mock why bother. I'm not
ever starting any of these guys over at Bowers, But
there are some tight ends that I like here.

Speaker 3 (36:46):
Agreed, Yeah, I'm with you in the fact that, like
there's just no reason to take Like for me, taking
a tight end would make sense, right because I waited
so long to take one, But when you take Bowers
or Trey McBride, there's just Colson Lovelin. There's just no
need for a second tight end. Like if you really
think that that tight end is better than the rest
of the crew around here, then fine. But it's like,

(37:10):
you know lazy boy who waited until or would that
be round nine to take se deck and then he
took stours right, Like, that's the scenario where you take two,
is if you waited beyond like round seven or eight.

Speaker 1 (37:22):
We got a couple of comments here from Jake.

Speaker 2 (37:23):
One of them he says, if Pierce goes down, then downs,
you know, could be looking pretty good. I'm just so
nervous about the quarterback situation in general in Indianapolis that
I get nervous investing. Although you're not investing too much
here at this point, it's late in the startup. But
then His other question that he asked is if Shehat goes,
how are we feeling about Tory Horton.

Speaker 3 (37:44):
In I love Tory Harton.

Speaker 1 (37:45):
I like the player quite a bit.

Speaker 3 (37:47):
Yeah, yeah, I'm excited about it. We have to see,
you know, coming off the knee injury, what his speed
looks like when he's coming back and everything. And I
think there is kind of a low floor for Tory
Horton because he is going to stick on the field
because of special teams used at the very minimum. But
I love Tory Horton. I think he's a sneaky pick
late in Dynasty drafts for sure, and a cheap asset

(38:09):
to trade for right now.

Speaker 1 (38:10):
Yeah, totally.

Speaker 2 (38:11):
What do you think about Digs going now that he
just got released. Is he just kind of off your
board or do you think that's an okay pick at
this point?

Speaker 3 (38:17):
No, that's fine at this point, right Like, he's not
my He's just such a screw up. But he's so talented,
you know, so I think at this point, like him
or Shaheed, I'm taking Digs all day, right like, So
the talent is there. He just he has to be
on the field and not suspended, which I think is
a decent question here. Well, I'm gonna do this because

(38:40):
I'm a sicko, So give me a rich again. I'll
just take another shot here and then, Man, I'm debating
on this pick, but I just think I'm gonna play
upside and take another guy that's hurt, but I don't care.
Chris Bell one of my favorites in this class. You know,
not being able to do scene your bowl things, or

(39:01):
being practices or the combine I think is really hindering
his stock. But I think he's a great player. So
really like getting Chris Bell this late in the process.

Speaker 2 (39:09):
Here, speaking of rookies, I have to ask you about
a pick that was made last round. Cole Peyton goes
in the eighth pick of the thirteenth round. He's the
third QB off the board of amongst the rookies, behind
Ty Simpson went at twelve oh two. Obviously, Fanana Mendoza
went to me at five oh one. What do you
think about Peyton going there? I mean, we just did
a rookie rankings episode where we talked about like nuss
Meyer's ahead of him Carson Beck, but those aren't guys

(39:31):
that you expect to be starters and we're kind of
taking upside swings here.

Speaker 1 (39:33):
Do you like Peyton in a startup draft?

Speaker 3 (39:36):
I mean not really, but I'll say that. You know,
the idea is the same as where I took Richardson here,
it's the same, like the athletic ability in Debro has
kind of been obsessed with Cole Payton. Right when we
met in New Orleans, deebro and I talked about Cole
Payton for like twenty minutes, and I was like, the
dude has like fourteen starts at FCS, right, but you
can see flashes of some really good play there. So

(40:00):
he's gonna need the Jordan Love treatment, which could provide
a ton of value. You know, this league lasts a
long time and we get there. I think Cole Payton
could end up being a great pick, but he could
be the same exact thing that we saw with Anthony Richardson.
You know, Anthony Richardson was obviously drafted way higher than
col Payton's gonna get drafted. But the idea is the same.

(40:21):
You want a guy with that crazy upside that can
run and hope that they'll figure out the passing they
haven't been able to. But see, like Tua just went,
and Tua is much more likely to start than Cole Payton.
But who would you rather have orm would you rather
take a risk on the upside of Cole Payton or
the fact that maybe Tua ends up starting and you

(40:44):
can trade him for something else or use him if
you're in that scenario.

Speaker 2 (40:48):
God forbid, you could not pay me to have Tua
on a diety roster.

Speaker 3 (40:53):
See that. But that's where we're at. So that's the
point of like, you know, I don't really like col
Payton there, but it's not. He's not a terrible pick
based on what's left on the ball, and.

Speaker 1 (41:02):
A good point here from Grim that he is his
fourth quarterback.

Speaker 3 (41:05):
So yeah, a good But that's the guy to sit
and wait, Yeah, exactly. So like you don't have to
love the player to know that there's some value there
with them. And the backup quarterback is always the most
popular guy in town.

Speaker 2 (41:16):
Everybody knows that THEUS meyer goes here right before my pick. Yeah,
some distressed assets going in this round, ady, Mitchell, Caleb Johnson,
you guys who have kind of fallen off, you know,
to obviously himself, this is where to take him, all right,
I am on the Cluck.

Speaker 1 (41:30):
I will say, well, I'll take Trey Harris.

Speaker 2 (41:32):
And just I'm a believer in that offense in general,
and I want to invest in the offense.

Speaker 3 (41:36):
And I don't even think I saw him on the board.
That's a good pick.

Speaker 2 (41:40):
Yeah, I just like I'm a huge obvious I'm a
believer in Herbert. I'm a believer in Mike McDaniel. Like
I think they're going to get the offensive line, you know,
somewhat resolved.

Speaker 1 (41:48):
I want to invest in Los Angeles.

Speaker 2 (41:50):
And then I'm going to take a guy that I
think would have gone already if he hadn't been hurt
before the combine, and that's Nick Singleton at a Penn State.

Speaker 1 (41:57):
Again an upside swing.

Speaker 2 (41:58):
I think you would have tested extremely well if he
didn't have the broken foot and had been able to
participate in the combine. I think you might have seen
a similar rise to like what we're talking about with
Mike Washington. So to get him, however many rounds late, Yeah,
Washington win in the eleventh round, I get Singleton in
the fifteenth. I'll take that gap with the injury discount there.

Speaker 3 (42:15):
Man, there's a lot of good wide receivers on the
board here, I feel like Rashad White's a good pick.
That is, because he's a free agent. He could end
up in a good spot as well, so and a
pass catcher in a PPR league, which most dynasties are.
So I think Rashad White is a sneaky good pick here.
Hawkinson a good value, good.

Speaker 1 (42:33):
Tight end values throughout. Yeah.

Speaker 3 (42:36):
Yeah, there's a lot of good values here, but a
lot of like Because Romeo Dobbs went even in an
auto pick, I think that's a good selection here. So yeah,
I think there's some really nice value coming off the
board this late.

Speaker 2 (42:49):
Yeah, I'm looking around at some of the names still there. Yeah,
Mac mac Jones and Justin Fields both go back to
back here, So quarterbacks continue to come off the board.
That's the QB three for both of those teams. That's
also both auto picks. Elijah Suratt, another rookie receiver, goes here.
We know Fits is a big fantasy ride. He's his
wide receiver seven in the class. So that's good value there.

(43:12):
Who are you eying for your last two picks?

Speaker 3 (43:14):
Yeah, I have I have some running backs that I
want here, so there's some There's a lot of talent
at wide receiver. So I kind of feel like I
should have maybe skip Chris Bell and taking another wide out,
or maybe Michael Pittman running back, excuse me, and maybe
taking and another running back earlier. But there's I mean,

(43:35):
because like, okay, so I'm sitting here, I'm gonna take
two backs, right. I'm gonna take Videll because I just
loved what he did last year when Hampton was gone.
And then I'm gonna take Claiborne because I love this speed.
But Tyreek Hill is still on the board, you know,
Isaac Tesla, Jeremy Bernard still on the board. So the
running backs are getting fairly thin, but there's a lot

(43:56):
of wide receiver.

Speaker 1 (43:57):
Do you feel good not taking a second tight end
with Likely?

Speaker 2 (44:01):
I mean, obviously we like Likely quite a bit, but
there's not there, like it's not that sturdy of a floor,
like you know, there's your right side.

Speaker 3 (44:08):
But here's the thing is, we're in the last round
of this draft, and look at the tight end still
available that are gonna be on the wire. Yeah, Taylor,
Theo Johnson, Andrews, Juan Johnson, Barner Hunter, Henry, Dalton Kincaid
or Dalton Schultz. Excuse me, David and joke who Travis
Kelcey didn't get drafted yet, so like, uh if he

(44:28):
comes back, Pat Fryarmouth, Michael Mayer, There's Evan Ingram. There's
just so many that are gonna be on the wire.
I just feel like I don't have to have one
on my roster.

Speaker 1 (44:36):
Yeah, that's fair.

Speaker 3 (44:37):
Tory Horton, there he goes.

Speaker 2 (44:39):
I think I think I'm probably gonna just add you
can never have too many wide receivers in dynasty, So
I think that's probably where I'm gonna go with my
last pick.

Speaker 1 (44:47):
Here. We'll see who ends up falling. There's some rookies.

Speaker 2 (44:51):
I mean, like, obviously you could just again it's it's
not it's usually not a bad idea to take swings
on rookie receivers. And Bernard's there, Malachi Fields is there,
you know if you really like Zacharia Branch, Like, there's
just so many names there this. If this was extended
out a few more rounds, those guys would all go in.

Speaker 1 (45:08):
The next round.

Speaker 2 (45:09):
K Tron Allen goes here, almost two rounds after Singleton.
That feels like pretty good value. Just three picks left
here in the draft. We'll do a little bit of
a recapping the draft here for a couple of minutes,
and then get out of here.

Speaker 1 (45:21):
Once it's over.

Speaker 2 (45:21):
I'm gonna take Pat Bryant to end things. Last pick
feels good. He's a good player. Let's see kind of
what the analysis looks like. I have an A minus
grade and ninety out of one hundred. I will take that,
and uh, I'd be pretty happy. Let's let's see some
more detailed analysis here. Yeah, polar Express, who was the
auto draft, so of course the computer is gonna like that.
One is first, Obi Wan Outlaw, I'm third, Jack, fourth

(45:47):
Bunting with his no you know, his zero QB approach
is still as high as fifth.

Speaker 3 (45:52):
You know.

Speaker 2 (45:52):
Pub trying to find your name, I can't see it anywhere.
Can you find yours up there somewhere? Well, come here
to talk about the future. I'm not here talk about
the past. I'm gonna do the full Mark McGuire.

Speaker 3 (46:03):
Yeah, look, my grade was not great according to you know,
the greater here, But I like this roster. I think it.
You know, super flex grades a little weird as well.
And I waited so long to get my second quarterback.
I think that's probably a big part of it, Emilik Willis.
As you know, worm, it is just too low in ECR.

(46:23):
We've had multiple discussions. Computer was definitely going to see
that as a reach for sure, right exactly. But I mean,
I'll let me read off the roster and see how
you feel about. My quarterbacks are Lawrence Willis and I
took a Rich as a swing. My rbs are Bijeon
Charboney Montgomery, gain Well Videll and Demon Clayborne. My wide

(46:45):
receivers are pickins A Mecha, Buca, Roma dunes A, DK Metcalf,
Michael Pittman, and Chris Bell. And my tight end as
Isaiah Likely. I'm rolling with this squad ten times out
of ten. I really like it.

Speaker 2 (46:56):
When you're doing your own mock draftsland here for anybody
watching the draft in sights is just a cool feature.
You can see like a lot of different stuff. You
can see pick analysis, like he's on the screen right now,
he cause he projected standings. You can see teams strengths,
steals and reaches, expert opinions. Yeah, the pick analysis. It
shows you, like, you know, guys that you took and
what you could have done differently to score higher. Things
like that my draft insights page on mine, it says

(47:19):
Pat fitz Morris of Fantasy Pros likes my draft more
than any other expert.

Speaker 3 (47:23):
He dislikes my draft.

Speaker 1 (47:25):
That's the fun with some of these expert opinions.

Speaker 2 (47:29):
Yeah, Ericson also likes my draft quite a bit that
he and hates my drafts. Yeah, you know, I feel
pretty good about my team too. Obviously, number one tight I,
number one QB hard to complain about.

Speaker 1 (47:41):
Uh.

Speaker 2 (47:41):
I know those are the quote unquote luxury positions, but
just like having the top guy there, I like a bit.
I often in this sort of draft will have the
worst running back setup. Unsurprisingly, it says my rbs are twelfth,
but Kiren Williams perpetually underrated, like until they take the
job from him. He's gonna be a productive guy for me,
and that's a position that I can address in future

(48:02):
drafts as well. You know, decent receivers too. So yeah,
it shows me that if I had taken Trayvon Henderson
instead of Fernanda Mendoza, then my team score would actually
be first. I'd be the highest ranked team here. So
that's something I could have done differently.

Speaker 3 (48:15):
And I'm the only one where my superflex was not
a quarterback. They put in Pittman over Malike Willis on mine.
So that makes sense as to why I'm last.

Speaker 2 (48:24):
Give me Bogg before you get out of your draftings
up one team other than yours or mine that you
like quite a bit.

Speaker 3 (48:30):
I like Papa Dunk, Jordan Love and c. J. Stroud
as a quarterback, so maybe you know, not the upper
tier there, but two good second tier qbs Omaran Hampton,
Traveon Henderson with Chase DeVante Smith, Jaden Higgins and Tucker Kraft,
Jake Ferguson. Daniel Jones is a third quarterback I think

(48:50):
is great specifically with Stroud and Love. And then the
bench is strong too, Benson, Rashad White, Brian Robinson, who's
gonna go somewhere else and probably be valuable. And then
I you is a swing but Jennings and Mitchell good
floors to back up his wideouts. I think Papa Donk
had a pretty solid draft here.

Speaker 2 (49:09):
I'm not the type to do what Bunting did, but
I thought he did a really good job of executing
that strategy.

Speaker 3 (49:15):
Yeah, zero QB.

Speaker 2 (49:16):
I'm not comfortable doing that, but I like his team
a lot considering the strategy, he went.

Speaker 3 (49:20):
With Stafford and McCarthy as your your guy for this
year and then maybe your future McCarthy and if that
doesn't work out, like I said, quarterbacks in next year's class.
So I really like what Bunting did here.

Speaker 2 (49:31):
I like Obi One's team a lot. I like Lazy
Boys team quite a bit. I like Shawn's team picking
right before you. I don't think there was any really, Honestly,
my least server a team's the Auto Auto Draft team.
I thought everybody who actually drafted I was pretty pretty.

Speaker 1 (49:45):
A fan of.

Speaker 3 (49:46):
So yeah, I work everybody.

Speaker 2 (49:47):
Don't think anybody did a badge A lot lots of
picks that frustrated me because other people were picks that.

Speaker 1 (49:52):
Was super fun.

Speaker 2 (49:53):
