First Date follow Up powered by the Advocates Injury Attorneys
online at Advocateslaw dot com.

Speaker 2 (00:07):
Alex is on the phone today for our first Date
follow up and he's getting ghosted by Riley. So in
a second we'll call her and see if she's house,
why she's ghosting him, and maybe get him another date.
But first, Alex, how long has it been since you
heard from Riley?

Speaker 3 (00:19):
It's been about ten days?

Speaker 4 (00:21):
Okay, now that you're counting, yeah, have you how many
times have you reached out to her in that time.

Speaker 5 (00:29):
I've sent a few texts, but it's it's been nothing crazy.

Speaker 2 (00:33):
Okay, we'll tell us about the date.

Speaker 5 (00:35):
Yeah, well, we went to an underground concert and it
was so much fun.

Speaker 3 (00:40):
I thought it would be.

Speaker 2 (00:41):
Yeah, it was actually on the ground, it.

Speaker 5 (00:44):
Was it was in like the basement of the back
of this cool It was actually it was pretty cool.

Speaker 3 (00:49):
Yeah, And I thought it was.

Speaker 5 (00:50):
Gonna be like this perfect combination of low pressure but
still not so fun, you know.

Speaker 3 (00:56):
And we had we had a few drinks.

Speaker 5 (00:58):
We were viving in the music and she was even
dancing a little bit. And I gotta say she's like
super cool too, Like she doesn't even have to try.
She's one of those she's just so cool and she
knows her music. She wasn't just like oh, I like everything.
She had opinions and I respect that, you know, yeah yeah.
And then then I ended with us grabbing some late

(01:20):
night pizza and there was a kiss and it was
in the moment and the music was still in the
background and everything, but it was kind of cinematic.

Speaker 3 (01:30):
It felt like it was right out.

Speaker 1 (01:31):
Of the movie.

Speaker 4 (01:32):
It feels really good to hear guys romanticize these kisses too.

Speaker 3 (01:37):
It felt like it was perfect.

Speaker 2 (01:38):
Okay, well, what do you think is the reason she's
ghosting you?

Speaker 5 (01:40):
Then I might be overthinking it, but I might have
gotten a little bit too into the concert.

Speaker 4 (01:47):
What does that mean though?

Speaker 2 (01:49):
Like a mosh pit?

Speaker 3 (01:50):
Well kind of.

Speaker 5 (01:51):
I mean like I jumped up on the stage, but
like the band invited me. They were like, who's ready
to rock? And I just I took initiatives.

Speaker 2 (01:59):
You know, you're like, I am sir.

Speaker 5 (02:05):
Yeah yeah, And and then maybe there was like I
also there was this one moment that I spilled my
drink on a guy who like definitely looked like he could.

Speaker 3 (02:14):
Throw me across the room. Okay, so it was a
pretty pretty big guy. But that's all I can think about.
I mean, like I said, I think I'm overthinking it.

Speaker 2 (02:22):
Something happened because of the spilling the drink.

Speaker 5 (02:25):
Or I mean the guy just looks kind of angry,
but like he, like I said, he was a pretty
big guy.

Speaker 3 (02:31):
Like he's kind of intimidating. So I backed off pretty easily.

Speaker 2 (02:35):
But it was alcation no, no, no, okay, maybe that's why
maybe she wants you to fight him.

Speaker 4 (02:41):
Some people are like that, you're joking, but there are
some people like that and that's a red flag though.
So for you, though, what was she doing while you
were on stage?

Speaker 3 (02:51):
I don't know. I kind of lost her in the
crowd at that point. I was kind of you know,
it was like adrenaline was high. I lost in the
moment type thing.

Speaker 2 (03:00):
She became a peasant.

Speaker 4 (03:03):
In the crowd.

Speaker 3 (03:04):
No, I wanted her to come up. I thought she
was gonna come up with me, but she didn't.

Speaker 6 (03:07):
Okay.

Speaker 4 (03:07):
So then what you said, you kissed? Who did it first?

Speaker 2 (03:12):
You were her?

Speaker 3 (03:12):
I mean it was I felt like I think it
was mutual. You know, it was like that moment where
it was.

Speaker 5 (03:17):
Like like the conversation kind of died, and it kind
of like it was like a moment where we were
just kind of looking at each other's eyes for a second.

Speaker 2 (03:24):
Yeah, like I felt right, you know, Alex, remind us
about your day again.

Speaker 3 (03:27):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (03:27):
Well, I took her to an underground concert sort of thing.
I thought it would be fun and we had a
great time, like she was dancing. We we we really
hit it off. It felt like we even just at
the end of the night, she said she wanted to
see me again, but I don't know. I've been going
over my mind maybe why.

Speaker 3 (03:45):
She hasn't reached out again or responded.

Speaker 5 (03:49):
And there was just a couple of incidents like I
jumped up on stage after they invited me, and.

Speaker 3 (03:55):
I don't know, I was just five and I was
having a good time. But I was super into it,
and it seemed like she was really into it too.

Speaker 2 (04:02):
Okay, well we'll see if we can figure it out
for you. Then are you ready for us to call her?

Speaker 3 (04:06):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (04:07):
Okay, here we go.

Speaker 6 (04:18):
Hello.

Speaker 2 (04:19):
Hi is this Riley? Hey Riley, how are you? This
is the Jubil Show. It's a radio show.

Speaker 4 (04:25):
Hi Riley. My name is Nina. Hi, I'm Victoria and
my name is Jubil. How's it going the Jubil Show.

Speaker 6 (04:32):
No, this is some kind of joke.

Speaker 2 (04:34):
Great, No, have you listened to the show before?

Speaker 6 (04:37):
I haven't. I'm sorry.

Speaker 2 (04:39):
Yeah, that's fine. No, it's fine. Well, don't worry about it.
Maybe now you'll check it out because you're actually on
the show. We do a segment on the show. It's
called the First Date follow Up. It's where if you
go out on a date with somebody and you ghost them,
that person can email us to get you on the
phone and ask why you're ghosting them. So, can you
think of anybody who want to email us about you?

Speaker 6 (05:01):
I'm Ben I guess is it Alex?

Speaker 2 (05:04):
You are correct? Yeah, Alex emailed us and told us
about your date. He said, it's been like ten days
and he hasn't heard anything from you, and he's confused
because he thought you really liked him, and even at
the end of your day, he said, you want to
see him again?

Speaker 6 (05:19):
Oh my god, of course, Alex, something like this.

Speaker 2 (05:22):
Yeah, I ghosted him, Okay, so why? Yeah? Can you
tell us?

Speaker 1 (05:28):
Because he embarrassed me so much, I couldn't I couldn't
deal with him anymore.

Speaker 6 (05:34):
He was so embarrassing.

Speaker 2 (05:36):
Why why is the embarrassing?

Speaker 1 (05:39):
So he took me to this concert and like he
just like full on jumped on stage and like.

Speaker 6 (05:46):
Tried to take the mic. Like the band had to stop.

Speaker 2 (05:50):
He told us about that, and he said that the
band like asked him to get on stage.

Speaker 1 (05:55):
No, it wasn't like he was not like corny cocks,
Like they didn't like pull him up out the crowd.
Like he like jumped on the stage on his own
and tried to take the bikes from the singer and they.

Speaker 2 (06:06):
Had just whoa, it's been a little confused.

Speaker 4 (06:11):
Different stories.

Speaker 2 (06:12):
And they said that they saw him having fun and
they were like get up on stage with us.

Speaker 1 (06:16):
No, like he said, dude, like maybe like some other
like maybe they were talking to some like cute girl
or but he went for it.

Speaker 6 (06:25):
Like they were not wanting him on the stage.

Speaker 4 (06:28):
Oh that's funny. Oh maybe he was standing next to
some hot girl and got confused.

Speaker 2 (06:34):
He didn't tell us that they kicked him off the stage.

Speaker 1 (06:37):
Yeah, like security had to like escort him off the stage.

Speaker 4 (06:41):
Oh yeah, we missed that part.

Speaker 2 (06:43):
Okay, is that is that the reason you're ghosting him?

Speaker 6 (06:46):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (06:46):
Well it was just yeah, he just had like no awareness,
like it was just everything.

Speaker 6 (06:51):
I feel like it was just like so embarrassing.

Speaker 3 (06:54):
Hey, hey, can I say something now?

Speaker 2 (06:56):
Yeah, yes you can, Alex. Hey, Riley, that's Alex. He's
actually on the phone listening and wants to talk to you.

Speaker 6 (07:03):
His he's on the phone right.

Speaker 2 (07:05):
Now, wants to say something now.

Speaker 3 (07:08):
Yeah. So I just want to clarify this. Nobody nobody
helped me. I mean nobody.

Speaker 5 (07:13):
Nobody kicked me off the stage. They just helped me
off the stage.

Speaker 6 (07:17):
They like escorted you back, like off of the stage.

Speaker 5 (07:22):
I don't know what concert you were at, Riley, because
that's not what happened.

Speaker 3 (07:25):
The security guard literally gave me his hand to help
me down. I'm sure it's just a stafety.

Speaker 2 (07:31):
I can picture that.

Speaker 6 (07:33):
No, that's not that's not what happened. Like are you
are you crazy?

Speaker 1 (07:38):
Like they literally like escorted you off the stage like
they just stopped the song to get you off stage.

Speaker 3 (07:46):
They didn't stop, they didn't have to stop. They just
wanted you what.

Speaker 6 (07:53):
Are you talking about?

Speaker 1 (07:54):
They asked this delete like we got like kicked out,
got pizza or.

Speaker 5 (07:59):
They weren't kicking us out. They asked us to leave
because like I was up on the stage. People were
gonna start swarming the swarming.

Speaker 2 (08:05):
Me from for autographs, her pictures.

Speaker 4 (08:10):
That's funny.

Speaker 3 (08:11):
Yeah, I mean the crowd went crazy when I went
up there.

Speaker 6 (08:14):
They were crazy and they were mad you interrupted the shovel.

Speaker 3 (08:18):
That's not how iamy.

Speaker 6 (08:19):
They thought some was gonna murder you. How are you
confusing this the security guard instead? You guys are eighty
stakes that you cannot come back here.

Speaker 2 (08:28):
Ever, it sounds like you got kicked out. Yeah, I
had you miss that one.

Speaker 3 (08:36):
That's not how I thought we did.

Speaker 6 (08:37):
We got kicked out.

Speaker 2 (08:39):
How do you not know me?

Speaker 3 (08:42):
Listen? I mean he and I then me and that
security guard we like this pumped on the way in.
I thought we were buddies. I thought he was just
kidding around.

Speaker 6 (08:50):
They this bump everyone.

Speaker 2 (08:53):
Well, Riley, would you like another day with Alex? Will
pay for it?

Speaker 6 (08:58):
No? No, thank you.

Speaker 1 (08:59):
I mean, I know everyone wants to like a viral,
but not for the wrong reasons.

Speaker 5 (09:06):
Well that really sucks because I thought we were really
vibing together.

Speaker 3 (09:09):
At the whole concert.

Speaker 6 (09:11):
Well, I'm sorry, I guess that just shows like how
unaware you are.

Speaker 3 (09:17):
Okay, Well, and that's your loss. I guess. No, Autographs
for You.
