Speaker 1 (00:00):
First Date follow Up powered by the Advocates Injury Attorneys
online at Advocateslaw dot com. Normally we do a first
date follow up here, but we have a listener named
John on the phone who wants to do something a
little bit different today.

Speaker 2 (00:13):
John, what's up? How are you?

Speaker 3 (00:14):
Yeah? So you guys to this Call of Booty.

Speaker 2 (00:18):
No, you've been.

Speaker 1 (00:21):
Listening for a long time, because we haven't done that
in a long time.

Speaker 2 (00:24):
John, I'm intrigued.

Speaker 3 (00:26):
No.

Speaker 1 (00:29):
Call of Booty is not a video game, but uh,
it was the thing we sede to do on the
show where you had to call your significant other to
see if.

Speaker 2 (00:36):
They would leave work to hook up with you. Get it,
Call of.

Speaker 1 (00:40):
Booty, except don't worry, it's family friendly because you're not
allowed to be dirty at all. You can't even make
a blunt reference to what you want to do. We
give you a topic to use and you have to
call them at work. And let's say we gave you
Disney movies and you'd have to call up your significant
other work and be like.

Speaker 2 (00:58):
Hey, baby, Mickey Mouse is really like lonely right now?
Would you like to spend time with Mickey Mouse? It's
funny because yeah.

Speaker 1 (01:07):
Because like usually they have no idea what the person's
talking about.

Speaker 2 (01:10):
You used to listen to that, John.

Speaker 3 (01:12):
Yeah, yeah, please don't give me you.

Speaker 2 (01:15):
Want to come over and watch Pinocchio's nose things like that. Right,
So you want to do that, John, I.

Speaker 3 (01:25):
Don't know my wife will go for it, but I
want to try it.

Speaker 2 (01:28):
Okay.

Speaker 1 (01:29):
So is the goal to get the wife to understand
that he's hinting at that without saying it, Yeah, and
leave you see if they'll actually do it. You don't
do it, you don't win the game, okay, uncall of
booty unless your significant other actually agrees to meet you somewhere,
which they probably won't because I'll probably think you're drunk
because you're talking nonsense. All right, John, So before we

(01:53):
do this, you have to tell us a little bit
about your wife. So you're about to call her and
see if she'll leave her job right now to meet
you for a booty call. But you can't be blunt.
You can't say exactly what you want to do. We'll
give you a topic that you can reference and see
if she can catch on to what you're talking about.

Speaker 2 (02:10):
It's always very awkward. But what does your wife do?

Speaker 4 (02:16):
Office?

Speaker 1 (02:17):
So she's a receptionist, She's going to be busy, you know, talking.
So your wife's a receptionists at a dentist office, which means, yeah,
there's gonna be people at the counter while you're on
the phone trying trying to get her to leave her
job this moment to meet you for a call of booty.

Speaker 5 (02:41):
Yep, you were asking what she's like, I mean awkward,
definitely like you know, a treat and especially saw that
stuff like this, you know where she's confused or whatever.

Speaker 1 (02:51):
Right, Okay, so I love that. Do you think there's
any chance that she says yes?

Speaker 5 (02:57):
I mean I probably know, but uh, I mean I
definitely want to like give it a shot. Who knows,
maybe it'll uh, maybe it'll happen, you know, maybe she'll
go for it.

Speaker 2 (03:08):
He has some confidence. John, you need to get your
wife excited. So this is on you. Yeah, how do
you love your wife?

Speaker 3 (03:15):
I mean, I'm gonna give it a shot. We'll see.

Speaker 5 (03:17):
I mean, you know, I can be pretty convincing.

Speaker 1 (03:20):
Okay, So we will play a song come back, and
then John is going to attempt to call his wife,
who's currently working reception at a dental office and try
to see if she'll leave work for a booty call.
But he can't say anything blunt about what he wants
to do. He can only make reference to a topic
that we give him and try to see if she

(03:42):
can decode his messages. Will she respond, Boy, I'm gonna
I'm gonna give you two topics to choose from.

Speaker 2 (03:49):
John.

Speaker 1 (03:49):
Okay, you can either make reference to only board games
slash video games, or you can do girl Scout cookies.

Speaker 2 (03:59):
So it'd be like, do.

Speaker 1 (04:01):
You want to come check out my controller that like
right now? Or hey, baby, yeah something I don't know.
I don't know what do you want, John, girl Scout
cookies or board games and video games?

Speaker 3 (04:15):
I mean I'll say board games and video games today?

Speaker 2 (04:19):
Okay? All right, man, good luck.

Speaker 1 (04:21):
We'll play a song come back, and then John, you
can see if you can accomplish Call of Booty next.
Normally at this time it's a first day follow up,
but today it's a special treat.

Speaker 2 (04:34):
It's a call of Booty and you will show our listener.

Speaker 1 (04:37):
John called up because we used to do a segment
on the show called Call of Booty where you'd have
to call your significant other and see if you could
get them to leave what they were doing in that
moment to meet you for a booty call. But it's
not dirty at all. You can't say anything bluntly about
what you want to do. We give you a topic
to reference, and you have to see if you can
first get them even to figure out what you're talking about,

(04:57):
and then convince them to leave their job or what
they're doing to meet you for a call of booty.
And John's on the phone, and John is about to
call his wife, who works reception at a dentist's office.

Speaker 2 (05:08):
So this is going to be very awkward.

Speaker 1 (05:11):
There's gonna be people around, and he's got to see
if he can convince her to leave her job right
now to meet him for a booty call. And he
can only make reference to board games slash video games.

Speaker 2 (05:21):
Oh that's a good one though, there's so many options.

Speaker 1 (05:24):
Yeah, yeah, John, you're ready to call her, okay, And
we have it where she won't be able to hear
us until we want her to, but you can hear us.
So John, during this phone call, if you're having problems
trying to figure out what to say, we will give
you lines.

Speaker 2 (05:42):
Will be the lifeline that we'll move your lifeline.

Speaker 1 (05:44):
So if we talk, obviously, don't talk back to us,
because remember you're talking to her, right.

Speaker 2 (05:54):
So don't respond to us. Otherwise that's going to seem
like you're behind on something, like.

Speaker 1 (05:58):
You're talking to voices in your He's already gonna think
she's already going to think that you're weird right now.

Speaker 2 (06:03):
Anyways, So all right, are you ready to go?

Speaker 3 (06:07):
Ready?

Speaker 2 (06:08):
All right? Here we go, John, I'm gonna dial her
phone number right.

Speaker 4 (06:12):
Now, Centi's office.

Speaker 3 (06:22):
This is Jane.

Speaker 4 (06:23):
How can I help you? Good dudek? John? Yeah? Why
are you calling me at work? Is everything okay?

Speaker 5 (06:38):
Yeah? Yeah, everything's okay, just a little bored. Well, only
is wondering if you might want to come home and
play a board game.

Speaker 4 (06:49):
Play a board game, babe, what's going on?

Speaker 3 (06:55):
I mean we can play a video game too.

Speaker 5 (06:57):
I just get a new joystick, pretty big.

Speaker 3 (07:03):
Enough for two. This could be a pretty fun board game.

Speaker 4 (07:07):
And you know, hang got a lot of ill I'll
be right with you. No, I don't want to like
you know that work? Right now? John? Why are you
at home playing video games right now?

Speaker 3 (07:21):
Yeah? I'm definitely okay.

Speaker 5 (07:23):
I'm not playing games right now. I was hoping you
could join me for maybe some shoots and Ladders or
candy Land.

Speaker 4 (07:33):
Have you been drinking, babe, Like, what's going on right now?

Speaker 3 (07:41):
I've not been drinking.

Speaker 5 (07:42):
I was just you know, wanting to pass go, you know,
without going to jail.

Speaker 2 (07:48):
That makes sense unless you're into jail. You say that, John,
don't talk to us, remember, don't talk back to us
right now? John?

Speaker 3 (08:00):
Oh sorry, I forgot.

Speaker 4 (08:04):
Who are you talking to.

Speaker 3 (08:07):
I'm not No, I'm not talking to anybody. I'm just
I'm on a trivial pursuit. Do you know what I mean?

Speaker 4 (08:15):
No, I have no idea what you mean? John? I
have I need to.

Speaker 6 (08:20):
Get back to work, Yazi said, ya, John, I'm at work.
What what are you on?

Speaker 3 (08:40):
Yes?

Speaker 2 (08:41):
Yes, John, we're here now.

Speaker 4 (08:43):
And what's going on right now?

Speaker 3 (08:47):
Hi? Jane?

Speaker 2 (08:48):
This is the Jubil Show as the radio show. Yeah, Hi,
I'm Victoria, I'm Freeze, the producer.

Speaker 1 (08:53):
And that's your husband, John Yazid Yazi?

Speaker 6 (09:00):
What's going on? Like? Like, why who are all these people?
I'm really sorry, I'll be right with you.

Speaker 4 (09:07):
My husband's being really weird.

Speaker 2 (09:11):
We know you're at work.

Speaker 1 (09:12):
Right now, Jane, and you obviously have somebody there who
needs you. But your husband wanted to call up and
do something on the show called call of booty that
we haven't done a long time. We have to see
if you can get your significant other to leave work
for a booty call.

Speaker 2 (09:24):
But you can't say anything dirty.

Speaker 1 (09:25):
You got to use references that we give you, and
we gave him board games to use.

Speaker 2 (09:30):
And I still don't think you ever knew what he
was talking about.

Speaker 6 (09:37):
Oh my god, John, did you really call to have
a booty call to be in the middle of the day.

Speaker 4 (09:43):
That's that's an inside joke. I'll be right with you.

Speaker 2 (09:48):
There.

Speaker 1 (09:49):
Yeah, it doesn't sound he did not accomplish his goal though.

Speaker 4 (09:52):
Yeah, that was terrible.

Speaker 6 (09:54):
I thought you were drunk or high or absolutely nothing
saccy about.

Speaker 3 (10:01):
Oh well, at least I tried yazi.

Speaker 2 (10:05):
All right, Jane, we'll let you go because I know
you got to get back to work.

Speaker 4 (10:09):
Great, Thank you, John.

Speaker 2 (10:12):
That was an effort. I don't know if it was
a good effort, but it was an effort.

Speaker 5 (10:15):
Man.

Speaker 2 (10:16):
Maybe got to brush up on it next time. You
can get a little yazi. Yeah, yeah, shouting yatim more breathy. Yeah,
