Speaker 1 (00:00):
First Date follow Up powered by the Advocates Injury Attorneys
online at advocateslaw dot com.

Speaker 2 (00:07):
Remy is on the phone today for a first date
follow up and she's getting ghosted by a dude named Griffin.
So in a few minutes we'll call him and see
ifa tell us why he's ghosting her, and maybe get
her a second date. But before we do that, Remy,
why do you think you're getting ghosted?

Speaker 3 (00:20):
Probably because going on a date with me is going
to cost him over one thousand dollars?

Speaker 2 (00:26):
WHOA what like, are you hired to go on dates?
Or how does that work? Yeah?

Speaker 3 (00:33):
Yeah, So he picked me up for dinner, and when
you pulled up, I noticed he was drawing this huge
truck and I thought, all right, that's fine, But it
was very hard for me to get in and out.

Speaker 2 (00:45):
Of the truck.

Speaker 3 (00:46):
And originally like it was funny, until it wasn't so
or yeah, so I had to climb into the truck
and then he told me we're going to go into
a steakhouse for dinner, which to me is really nice.
So we pull au and then I was as I
was trying to get out of the truck, I accidentally
slammed his door into a wall and it got like

(01:09):
a little scuffed up, I mean, and it was so yeah,
it was so high and getting down was just it
was hard. So it was kind of just happened.

Speaker 2 (01:19):
Okay, So door, which if a dude has, obviously, if
he's got like a really big truck and stuff, it's
probably customized and cares about it a lot.

Speaker 4 (01:28):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (01:29):
So then like as it as it happened, he let
out like this little scream, like a squeakish sound.

Speaker 4 (01:36):
It was a little faster.

Speaker 3 (01:38):
Than a stream, but it was definitely very high pitched.

Speaker 2 (01:42):
Okay, Yeah, and I honestly.

Speaker 5 (01:44):
I felt so bad.

Speaker 3 (01:46):
He rushed immediately rushed over the door, and he was
essentially gasping for air while he was inspecting the car.
But then he said it was fine, and we went
to the restaurant and like we kind of let it
go and he didn't bring it up again. The rest
of the night was great. I saw everything was fine.
But now I'm not getting any response back from him,

(02:08):
so I don't know, Like, if he doesn't want another date,
I'd at least like to pay for the damages, you know.

Speaker 5 (02:14):
Yeah, I was gonna say, if you did you offer
to do that, like in the moment, or you didn't
say anything about it.

Speaker 4 (02:20):
Yeah, no, I did.

Speaker 3 (02:22):
I offered, but he was kind of like, don't worry
about it. But still I'm feeling guilty and I feel
like that's why I'm not hearing back from him.

Speaker 2 (02:28):
Okay, well we'll see if that is the reason. We'll
play a song come back and then call him and
see if they'll tell us why he's ghosting you and
maybe get you a second date.

Speaker 4 (02:36):
Okay, okay, yeah, thank you.

Speaker 2 (02:38):
We'll get your first date follow up next. It's the
Jubile Show.

Speaker 1 (02:42):
First Date follow Up powered by the Advocates Injury Attorneys
online at advocatesload dot com.

Speaker 2 (02:48):
Right in the middle of your first Date follow up
and if you're just joining us, Remy is on the
phone and she's getting ghosted by a guy named Griffin.
So we're about to call him and see ifa tell
us why he's ghosting her and maybe get her a
second date. But before we that, Remy, why don't you
break down why you think he's not calling you back again?

Speaker 3 (03:05):
Yeah, I guess I don't think he's calling me back
because I hit his truck door against a wall.

Speaker 4 (03:10):
But it was too high for me to get in
and out of it.

Speaker 3 (03:14):
I don't know what just happened.

Speaker 2 (03:15):
All right, Well here we go. We'll call him right
now and see if bringing up his truck door is
the issue or if it's something else. I'm a doubtas
one of her. Right now, Hi, man, I speak to
Griffin please. Yeah, that's right, Hey Griffin, how are you?
This is a radio show. It's called The Jubile Show.

Speaker 3 (03:34):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (03:35):
Hi, I'm Nina.

Speaker 2 (03:35):
Hi, I'm Victoria and my name is Jubell. How are you.

Speaker 4 (03:40):
Cool? I mean I haven't heard of you guys, but.

Speaker 2 (03:44):
Well yeah not much.

Speaker 4 (03:46):
So.

Speaker 2 (03:47):
Like I said, it's a radio show, and I know
it's probably weird to get a phone call from us,
but we're calling you today because we actually got an
email about you from somebody who does listen to the show.

Speaker 4 (04:00):
Okay, sure, so like a scam thing? What's going on?

Speaker 1 (04:04):
No?

Speaker 2 (04:04):
We do a segment on the show that's called the
First Date follow Up. That's where if you go out
on a date with somebody and you ghost them, that
person can ask us to call you and ask why
you're ghosting them. And we got an email about you
from somebody named Remy that you went on a date with. Okay,
and Remy wants to know why you're ghostinger. Would you

(04:25):
mind telling us?

Speaker 4 (04:29):
Do you guys have all day? Because the holy crap
that was the date from hell?

Speaker 2 (04:34):
Oh no, like the whole date is that bad?

Speaker 4 (04:38):
Oh yeah? Start to finish?

Speaker 2 (04:40):
Okay, you mind you mind giving us like more detail
on that.

Speaker 4 (04:44):
Well, first of all, Margaret.

Speaker 2 (04:47):
What's what's smart's mar?

Speaker 4 (04:50):
Okay?

Speaker 2 (04:51):
Okay, she did mention that you squealed. Yeah, she didn't
mention your truckle his name, Margaret, but she did mention
that she dinged up the doors.

Speaker 6 (04:57):
Ar condolenceret She more than just digged it up, She
flung the door open and completely wrapped her So sorry.
She drives a Nissan, but I drive a Raptor and
it was one hundred and twenty grand. So right, let's
start there.

Speaker 2 (05:13):
Okay, So you're obviously not happy about the door on
your truck on Margaret.

Speaker 4 (05:19):
Very not happy about the door on my truck. But
it doesn't stop there.

Speaker 2 (05:21):
Okay, what else?

Speaker 4 (05:24):
So So we go to the steakhouse and she talks.
She just talks and talks and talks like so much.

Speaker 2 (05:32):
You do do that on a day, every bit you're
you're annoyed that she was talking on your date.

Speaker 6 (05:38):
Yeah, every detail about her day, her job, her friends.

Speaker 4 (05:43):
I don't know. That checked out about halfway through.

Speaker 5 (05:46):
Oh no, okay, And she had no idea that she
was boring you like that.

Speaker 6 (05:53):
I don't know, but I clearly not because I just
wanted her to be quiet, you know, I wanted to
kind of talk about me a little bit, get a
word at edgewise, Okay, okay, all right, just yeah yeah, yeah, yeah,
yeah yeah.

Speaker 2 (06:07):
All right. So you didn't feel like you got to
talk about you enough on the date essentially?

Speaker 4 (06:12):
No, no, no, okay.

Speaker 6 (06:14):
I don't know no more about her job than she
knows about it anyway. Uh.

Speaker 7 (06:19):
But the worst part is we got our food and
she's telling me some minor detail from some story that
I'll never retain her care about. She legit asked the
waiter to bring her ketchup in a steak ass for
what steak? Yeah, she poured ketchup out an eighty dollars steak.

Speaker 2 (06:44):
That's a little bit of okay, and that was that
was it. That was it for you? After the ketchup
on the steak.

Speaker 6 (06:52):
I mean, I guess that's my bad maybe I should
have brought her like a happy meal.

Speaker 5 (06:57):
Okay, okay, well thanks for telling us about that.

Speaker 4 (07:09):
Yeah, I guess that's what I get.

Speaker 6 (07:10):
What I take drive through matters to a fine dining restaurant.

Speaker 2 (07:14):
Oh all right, hey man, thank you for being honest
with us. I appreciate that. Now I'll be honest with
you and let you know that, uh, Remy is actually
on the phone and listening and probably, unfortunately for you,
wants to talk to you now. She wants to talk
to you. Yeah, yeah, are you kidding me?

Speaker 3 (07:31):
You're ghosting me because of ketchup?

Speaker 4 (07:35):
Hi, Remy? And it's not just catchup, do you know
what I mean? Much? Are you getting twelve? You're mocking
it out too, crowds, No, I'm not.

Speaker 6 (07:51):
Twelve year olds like to put ketchup on their steak.

Speaker 3 (07:56):
Oh no, you just have the mental capacity of a
nine year old.

Speaker 6 (08:01):
Okay, nice, a capacity of a nine year old.

Speaker 4 (08:07):
Just keep Oh you are so embarrassing.

Speaker 2 (08:11):
What you know what I'm gonna go. I'm just gonna
ask you, Griffin, would you like another date with Remy?
We'll pay for it.

Speaker 5 (08:19):
No.

Speaker 3 (08:20):
No, yeah, I certainly don't. I certainly don't want another
date with him, and you know what your trunk is
just a real life mean for telling me you have
a small without telling me you have a small, You're
such a loser.

Speaker 4 (08:35):
Sure sure, well, if I have a small, I bet
you have a tri.

Speaker 5 (08:41):
Whoa Okay, okay, you

Speaker 2 (08:47):
