named Jackson. So in a few seconds, we'll call him
and see if he'll tell us why he's ghosting her
and maybe get her a second date if she still
wants one. But before we do that, Leah, how long
has it been since you heard from Jackson?

Speaker 3 (00:22):
Hey?

Speaker 4 (00:23):
Wow, it's probably been about a month.

Speaker 2 (00:26):
Oh oh wow, Okay, and you still want to get
ahold of them?

Speaker 4 (00:30):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (00:31):
I mean I had a lot of fun and I
really thought that there was like a vibe and I'm
just kind of surprised that it's been maybe it's been
like three weeks, but yeah, like almost a month, and I'm.

Speaker 4 (00:41):
Just kinda, I don't know, still still wondering.

Speaker 5 (00:45):
Uh.

Speaker 6 (00:45):
Yeah, So you feel like you're definitely being ghosted. You
just want to know why?

Speaker 4 (00:49):
Yeah, exactly.

Speaker 6 (00:51):
Okay, have you tried to reach out to him at all?

Speaker 5 (00:54):
I have, Yeah, and a few pecks if you like Instagram,
like ha ha.

Speaker 4 (00:58):
You know, sending the heart. Yeah, but yeah, no, no
real response.

Speaker 6 (01:03):
Oh no, can I ask why, like, why did you
wait three weeks to try it?

Speaker 4 (01:09):
Oh?

Speaker 5 (01:10):
I mean I have been contacted him without in the
three weeks.

Speaker 6 (01:14):
Yeah, yeah, there's always I know, I yeah, had none. Okay,
why don't you tell us about the date then?

Speaker 7 (01:21):
Leah?

Speaker 4 (01:22):
Sure?

Speaker 5 (01:23):
So, Yeah, his name is Jackson. I really really liked him.
He was not He was was very handsome but like
put together disciplines, like this quiet masculine energy, which is
very much my type. And he seemed very just like grounded,
Like he walked outside on the sidewalks, you know, be

(01:44):
a gentleman and open doors and didn't talk over me.
It was just like, yeah, very did all the right things.

Speaker 4 (01:50):
Very attractive.

Speaker 5 (01:52):
Yeah. So he took me to this like casual but
upscale place. We had some drinks and it was like.

Speaker 4 (01:59):
A late day nerve vibe. We had just both finished work.

Speaker 5 (02:03):
And it just felt like very playful and thirty and
kind of effortless.

Speaker 4 (02:08):
It was a very fun date, which is why it's
so confusing. Why why he's ghosted?

Speaker 7 (02:13):
Did anything weird happen?

Speaker 6 (02:14):
Like, I mean, if you were to take a guess,
why do you think he is ghosting you?

Speaker 5 (02:18):
Yeah? There was one moment that I think might be it.
So while we were like laughing at a joke, I
very playfully like grabbed his butt, like smacked his butt.

Speaker 4 (02:31):
And like like what, yeah.

Speaker 5 (02:34):
That's completely normal, flirting, light, harmless.

Speaker 4 (02:39):
But then after I did that, there was just a
total shift that I could feel pretty much immediately.

Speaker 5 (02:45):
And then after that he would not walk in front
of me. He kept slowing down, insisting that I go first.

Speaker 2 (02:55):
Oh, you know, the self conscious might have made him uncomfortable. Well,
so if he's not willing to present you with his butt.

Speaker 7 (03:02):
Again, right, hail, I'm sorry, that's kind.

Speaker 2 (03:07):
Of a weird way to say it, I know, but
you know you won't walk walk in front of you
and show you his butt and probably.

Speaker 7 (03:13):
Well we'll see.

Speaker 2 (03:15):
We'll play a song and then come back and call
him and see if he'll tell us why he's ghosting
you and maybe get you a second date. Okay, okay,
all right, we'll get your first day follow up next.

Speaker 1 (03:25):

why don't you break down your date again for us
real quick?

Speaker 4 (03:50):
Sure?

Speaker 5 (03:51):
So we went on a really fun date, goodbvibe, playful fun,
lots of laughing, and at one point, I like lately.

Speaker 4 (04:00):
Slapped and grabbed his butt and.

Speaker 5 (04:02):
Right after that beat, the vibe totally changed. And then
you know, I haven't heard.

Speaker 6 (04:08):
He wouldn't present his butt in front of you again.

Speaker 7 (04:12):
Yeah, all right, here we go. Are you ready for
us to call him?

Speaker 4 (04:17):
Yeah?

Speaker 7 (04:18):
All right, here we go. Hello, Hi, man, speak to Jackson?
Please speaking?

Speaker 8 (04:33):
Who is this?

Speaker 7 (04:33):

Speaker 7 (04:38):
Hi, I'm Victoria and my name is Jubell.

Speaker 3 (04:41):
Wait is that you guys have me on the radio
right now?

Speaker 7 (04:45):
Yes? You are? How are you doing?

Speaker 8 (04:49):
Uh?

Speaker 3 (04:50):
I'm good. I've never never been on the radio before.

Speaker 4 (04:53):
What do you guys?

Speaker 8 (04:53):
What are you guys calling about?

Speaker 7 (04:55):
Well?

Speaker 2 (04:55):
I don't know if you've ever listened to the show before,
But we do a segment on the show called the
First Day follow Up. That's where if you're getting ghosted
by somebody, they can email us to call the person
who's ghosting them and ask why. So we got an
email about you from somebody that you're ghosting you know my.

Speaker 3 (05:10):
Pace, I do know what you guys are calling?

Speaker 6 (05:16):
Yeah, uh uh okay, who are you ghosting?

Speaker 3 (05:22):
I'm I know you're calling about Leah? And uh yeah,
I mean what do you guys need to know? I mean,
what are you what are you looking for?

Speaker 2 (05:33):
She told us about your date and said she really
liked you. We're just wondering if you could tell us
why you've been ghosting her for about a month now.

Speaker 3 (05:41):
Well, I mean, I I genuinely liked Leah. I mean
I thought she was, you know, confident intelligence, she had
a lot of ambition to her. But she's just she's
just she's very bold to me, very bold.

Speaker 7 (06:01):
Okay, how so the bad thing like immediately bold and
what is that?

Speaker 5 (06:10):
Man?

Speaker 8 (06:11):
So we were we were we were laughing, having dreams,
having fun and the next thing I know, you know,
she she blaps my butt and like kind of grabs it,
and I just thought it was like whoa.

Speaker 3 (06:26):
Like we're not here here yet. But then it then
then after that, it was like she kind of kept
just mentioning it and like talking about my butt, and
I was just like it just felt kind of like
it's quite weird.

Speaker 2 (06:42):
How was she talking about your butt like like trying
to like say, don't have a long discussion about it, or.

Speaker 3 (06:48):
She was just kind of like she was like, oh,
your mushy butt, Like I felt it like it felt,
you know, it felt you know, like it's moving and
it's nice and I want to slap it again.

Speaker 6 (06:59):
And I was just.

Speaker 8 (06:59):
Like, like it was just it was.

Speaker 3 (07:03):
Just kind of it was just bizarre and and and
then like the next thing, I know, the rest of
the dates going on, and she's like, oh, hey, mushy,
but and I'm like, what, like what, Like it was
just it was weird.

Speaker 2 (07:16):
It's like, does she just keep calling you, uh button,
over and over and over?

Speaker 7 (07:20):
What a nickname?

Speaker 8 (07:22):
Yeah, it was weird.

Speaker 3 (07:23):
She just kept calling me Mushybut it's strange.

Speaker 7 (07:27):
Weird, strange.

Speaker 2 (07:28):
Yeah, okay, all right, well mushy, but I'm sorry that you.
Leah is actually on the other line listening and wants
to talk to you.

Speaker 3 (07:37):
Oh gosh, I mean, hello, what's hi?

Speaker 8 (07:48):
This kind of this kind of awkward.

Speaker 4 (07:50):
I mean yeah, I mean this is so ridiculous. You
go to me over that over a buck ground. It
was a playful butt crab, not a felony. We were flirting,
we were having fun.

Speaker 3 (08:02):
You you you you You're joking is aggressive, It's just
it's crow Okay.

Speaker 4 (08:07):
It was so saying that you don't have a sense
of humor.

Speaker 3 (08:11):
So I mean, I mean, like, it's just you're you're
very I find I just find you very low brow
and just kind of crass and just what did you
what did you grow up in a trailer.

Speaker 8 (08:19):
Park and what?

Speaker 3 (08:21):
Let me tell you something, Leah, I work out a lot,
and my butt is not let me be clear on that. Okay,
I really a.

Speaker 8 (08:29):
Lot of squats, I work. I do a lot of
leg work.

Speaker 3 (08:31):
So yeah, I'm gonna call your bluff there. I look,
I have a I have a firm butt here, Okay.
So I don't know what, like where you're getting this
mushy butcher. It was just weird and gross.

Speaker 4 (08:44):
Okay.

Speaker 2 (08:45):
So had she said something else, like had she grabbed
your button? Been like oh, it feels like you could
crack an egcorn between there. That is a firm moody.
It would have been more okay.

Speaker 3 (08:55):
You know what I think? So because here's the thing
she acted. It was like she was acting like a it.
It was just like, you know, here I am this
grown man on a date with a supposed grown woman,
making like these like childish, weird jokes about it, and
it was just very weird. It just it was so
awkward and strange. And look, let me tell you guys something.

(09:17):
I am extremely self aware and I know I do
not have mushybooty back here, okay, so let me just
be clear on that and and just set the record straight.

Speaker 5 (09:27):
Leah, Okay, well I felt a mushi booty.

Speaker 4 (09:31):
It felt like you don't work out at all.

Speaker 5 (09:33):
So I'm sorry for just calling it how I see it,
and that you don't have a sense of humor. And yeah,
I did grow up in a trailer park and now
I'm a lawyer and I make more money than you.

Speaker 3 (09:42):
So I also think you're just delusional, is what I
think about you.

Speaker 4 (09:47):
Okay, Mushi.

Speaker 8 (09:47):
But oh okay, here we go, missus trailer park turned lawyer.

Speaker 5 (09:54):
Here we go at least they're not a grown man
that's upset about someone calling them mushy butt.

Speaker 4 (09:59):
Like here's I'm so upset about it, and you're just
not fun.

Speaker 3 (10:03):
I don't have a mushie booty. I will ordally.

Speaker 4 (10:05):
Okay, mushy body mus.

Speaker 7 (10:09):
All right, I do not have a mushi broodie. Jackson,
would you like to go with Lee again on a
second date? We'll pay for it.

Speaker 3 (10:16):
I'll let you, guys be the judge of that.

Speaker 7 (10:18):
I'm gonna guess yes.

Speaker 6 (10:23):
So I'm not mushy it is eight all right.

Speaker 2 (10:26):
Well sorry, Leah, no second date for you and Jackson.
Thank you for your time.

Speaker 3 (10:30):

can see that I don't have a mushie booty, can
