Grayson is on the phone today for a first a
follow up, and he's getting ghosted by a woman named Annabel.
So in a few minutes we'll call her and see
if she'll tell us why she's ghosting him and maybe
get him another date. But first, Grayson, how long has
it been since you heard from Annabel?

Speaker 2 (00:14):
It's been it's been It's less than a week, but
it's been a few days.

Speaker 3 (00:19):
Okay, okay, but long enough for you to feel worried.

Speaker 2 (00:22):
Yeah, I guess it was like it was last weekend.
So it's been yeah, three four days, and yeah, I'm
starting to feel confused because we had pretty confident, we
had an awesome time, So I don't understand where the
disconnect is maybe coming in here.

Speaker 3 (00:37):
So well, why don't you tell us about the date?
Then let's see if we can figure it out.

Speaker 2 (00:41):
Yeah, I mean, I'm not you know, I'm not the
most handsome guy in the world, but I'm decent looking.
And Annabel came over.

Speaker 4 (00:50):
And we had.

Speaker 2 (00:52):
I mean, I thought we had a spark. We were like,
we were smiling, we were laughing immediately. I mean, she's
got these really great comeback and she's had this really
kind of charming, just killer smile. You know, she kind
of like looks up at you inside smiles and it
just kind of makes you feel something cool. And I
don't know, we played board games. She's crushing me at

trivial pursuit. I mean, she's got she you know, there's
there you go, this is a triple threat right there.

Speaker 3 (01:20):
Way, So she came to your to your place.

Speaker 2 (01:22):
Yeah, we just had like a cozy, you know, quiet
night at my place, which was great. I like to cook,
so we made some like homemade pizza, you know, something
I thought would be funky, throwing toppings on flower everywhere.

Speaker 4 (01:36):
It was a good time.

Speaker 2 (01:37):
And uh, like I said, we played like a marathon
of board games, which is I love doing that. I
always did that growing up. And you know, we got
nineties playlists. I mean, I mean it was just like
it was this amazing fun night.

Speaker 3 (01:51):
Well, what do you think could have gone wrong?

Speaker 2 (01:55):
You know, we were a little you know, there's you know,
the night we got a little flirty. You know, we
did some more we're kind of cleaning up and finally
found ourselves kind of next to each other, had a kiss,
which was really amazing. You know, I just kind of
clay it cool and kept cleaning and then she sits
down on the counter and we're just chatting. And while

I was cleaning this short this is like, honestly, the
only thing I can think of is that while I'm cleaning,
I like accidentally splash a little bit of pizza sauce
under her Like Swede sneakers, they're pretty nice, they're like
white sneakers. And she kind of freaked out me a
little bit, and she said it was late and she
just had to go and she kind of just got

(02:39):
upset and it was kind of a quick exit. I
guess it was a fun It was just like a
super fun style date with pizza kiss. Chemistry was really strong.
And then yeah, I texted her the next day. You know,
I was like round two question mark and like nothing.

Speaker 1 (02:56):
Grayson is on the phone and he's getting ghosted by Annabel.
So we're about to call her and see if she'll
tell us why she's ghosting him and maybe get him
a second date. But before we do that, Grayson, why
don't you break down your date again for us real quick.

Speaker 4 (03:09):
Yeah, we had a great night.

Speaker 2 (03:10):
She came over, we watched Netflix play four games homemade
pizzas just like the coach e night at home. We
had lots of chemistry. We were laughing, the conversation flowed naturally.

Speaker 4 (03:21):
We had a nice kiss at the end. I thought,
really like such a kiss.

Speaker 2 (03:26):
And then she just kind of like abruptly laugh after
I splashed some pizza sauce on her. And I don't
know if that's the reason, but I have not heard
from her since.

Speaker 3 (03:36):
All right, well, I feel like she's waiting for you
to offer to buy anyone. Let's see if the pizza
sauce on the shoe did it. Are you ready for
us to call her?

Speaker 4 (03:42):
Yeah, let's do it.

Yeah?

Well then you heard the first date follow up before
I have awesome? Well guess what, Annabel, somebody email us
about you?

Speaker 5 (04:13):
They did?

Speaker 3 (04:14):
Yeah, you know it's the.

Segment where if you go out on a date with
somebody and they end up ghosting you, they can email
us to get you on the phone and ask why
any idea who would email us?

Speaker 5 (04:25):
Yep, I know, I know exactly who it is, and
I'm sure he's on the.

Speaker 1 (04:28):
Phone right, Yes, he is. Grayson told us about your
date and said he really liked you. But I can't
figure out why you're ghosting him. Do you want to
tell him and us?

Speaker 5 (04:45):
Great times? Just wondering what do you think that I'm
ghosting you for? Like, what is your concern? Why do
you think I am?

Speaker 4 (04:50):
Well, I don't know. We had an amazing night and.

Speaker 2 (04:53):
Obviously you have no problem answering our phone numbers that
you don't recognize on your phone or you won't answer, Michael.
My guest is maybe because I splashed pizza sauce on
your shoe and you were kind of upset by that.
So that's the only knock on the entire night that
I can think of.

Speaker 5 (05:11):
Grayson, You're so funny. It wasn't the sauce. Thank you
for caring about my safety about answers numbers that I
call and accept. That's really kind of you. But Bracon, Honey,
it was not the sauce. I looked down to look
where the sauce was slunk, and there was a giant

(05:33):
mountain of nail things on the.

Speaker 3 (05:36):
Floor, like his apartment floor, or like I.

Speaker 5 (05:41):
Looked where the sauce was flung because I was like, oh,
you know, like it was cute. We had a great time,
and and I looked down and on the like on
the splash right next to it on the floor that
was like under this stink like someone had tried to
get them into a trash can. Was a literally like
a DNA pile of mail.

Speaker 2 (06:01):
I would, yeah, really over nail clippings, is why you will?
I mean, we had an amazing night and you saw
some nail clippings on my floor and you're not You're
just gonna.

Speaker 3 (06:11):
Grayson, you know that's gross.

Speaker 2 (06:17):
Like I don't know, it was a small, you know,
maybe small hamster sized pile.

Speaker 4 (06:23):
It was.

Speaker 3 (06:25):
I'm sized pile of nail clippings. That's a big pile.
I think if they were talking about a pile of
nail clippings, you guys like, why didn't you like we
like want to clean that up before she got to
your apartment.

Speaker 2 (06:38):
But I mean, come on, though, first of all, nail
clippings is is really what threw you totally off? I mean,
what about what about our kiss at the end of
the night. I mean, come on, that was amazing.

Speaker 5 (06:48):
Well, that kiss was amazing. But now I'm sort of like,
you're welcome, So I mean, bring it on to target beautiful.
What's what's going on? What al clippings?

Speaker 4 (07:00):
We all have.

Speaker 2 (07:00):
Little gross corners in our apartments or our houses, and
you know, it's like everybody.

Speaker 3 (07:07):
Oh so you you know, so you know you have
the pile of nail clippings.

Speaker 2 (07:13):
Yes, I am aware that she found my nail clipping corner.

Speaker 3 (07:17):
And your nail clipping the corner.

Speaker 5 (07:21):
Is describing, Oh my gosh, like he grew another person
with those nails, A tiny, tiny person is running around
this fantastic long nails.

Speaker 2 (07:34):
Yes, okay, so found my nail clipping corner. But why
wouldn't you just say something? Why don't you just say
something about it?

Speaker 5 (07:40):
Why would I say something about it?

Speaker 4 (07:42):
Yeah, what's the deal? You don't have your nailipping corner
established in your home?

Speaker 2 (07:47):
Figure that out because if you don't, then it's just
disgusting for your clipping and nails.

Speaker 5 (07:51):
Anywhere you want. I don't. I'm confused. I'll say you
the way get them either way, clean them away?

Speaker 2 (08:02):
Can I explain a little bit around the situation. What
exactly happened here. I'm kind of joking because I think
this whole thing is ridiculous. But can I explain a
little something to you that maybe we'll set some light
on this whole situation?

Speaker 5 (08:14):
Of course, of course, Brian, So, I actually.

Speaker 2 (08:18):
Have a small phobia around nail clippings. I think they're disgusting.
I don't like seeing them. I don't like being around
them myself.

Speaker 4 (08:26):
I mean, I don't know. This whole thing seems pretty silly.

Speaker 2 (08:29):
I'm pretty sure everybody has a place that they should
be clipping their nails, and you don't have one.

Speaker 4 (08:34):
I don't know. Maybe that's a deal breaker for me.

Speaker 3 (08:37):
Are you serious?

Speaker 4 (08:38):
I mean, I don't know, Annabel.

Speaker 2 (08:40):
This is the nail clippings that the deal breaker? If
it is for you, maybe it is for me.

Speaker 5 (08:44):
Listen, dude, you do your thing. If I if the
lack of my having a dedicated nail clip in the
corner is just crushing your ego, I'll let it go.
Like it's cool. I get it, I get it. Not
everyone has a place to do that, But I'll think
about it. But I really appreciate you, know, I appreciate
all the time shaking up, feel bad, thank you.

Speaker 2 (09:05):
Well, how about this. I don't want this nail clipping
thing to destroy what I thought was an amazing time.
