Speaker 1 (00:00):
First Date follow up powered by the Advocates Injury Attorneys
online at Advocateslaw dot com.

Speaker 2 (00:07):
Caleb is on the phone today for a first day
follow up. He's getting ghosted by Naomi, So in a
few minutes we'll call her and see if she'll tell
us why she's ghosting him and maybe get him another date.

Speaker 3 (00:15):
But before we do that, let's talk about the date. Caleb.
How long has it been since you heard from Naomi?

Speaker 4 (00:20):
Oh? Like a week? Probably?

Speaker 3 (00:23):
Okay? Have you been trying to hit her up?

Speaker 5 (00:25):
Yeah?

Speaker 6 (00:27):
That much?

Speaker 1 (00:28):
But okay, good answer. Actually hesitation there. Let's talk about
the date. How did that go?

Speaker 4 (00:35):
I thought it went well.

Speaker 5 (00:37):
I mean we went to those uh you know, one
of those DIY pottery places. Yeah, yeah, you know it's
romantic creatives, little messy.

Speaker 1 (00:46):
What is that that ghost scene that movie Ghost where
they had the pottery thing?

Speaker 4 (00:50):
Oh?

Speaker 3 (00:50):
Yeah, did you guys get to use the wheel?

Speaker 4 (00:53):
No? We didn't. I would have liked to next time.

Speaker 3 (00:58):
So how did it go with the pottery?

Speaker 5 (01:01):
I had a great time, you know, I mean we
were we were teasing each other, joking around, and I
thought it was nice.

Speaker 3 (01:08):
Did she not think it was nice?

Speaker 4 (01:10):
I don't know. She ever talked to me.

Speaker 7 (01:12):
I mean I might have gotten a little too into it,
you know, because like I totally did the ghost behind
the back move like that's hot, you know where I
kind of put my arms but like from behind her,
like you know what I mean, like.

Speaker 4 (01:29):
Like there was no wheel but just that.

Speaker 2 (01:31):
So you got behind her and put your arms around
her and made a mug out of pottery.

Speaker 3 (01:36):
Okay, we would you put.

Speaker 4 (01:37):
It like that exactly?

Speaker 3 (01:40):
Okay? Did she like that? Did she? Was she laughing
about it? Or did it seem weird to her?

Speaker 4 (01:45):
I thought she took it well. I thought she took
it well.

Speaker 5 (01:48):
You know, she's she's kind of, you know, sarcastic. So
it could go either way, right, but I like it.
You could say maybe she liked it and this is
totally different and that she's go see me, or she
totally thought I was weird.

Speaker 4 (02:03):
I don't know.

Speaker 1 (02:03):
So did you guys just do pottery on this date
or did you guys go anywhere afterwards?

Speaker 3 (02:08):
Before?

Speaker 5 (02:09):
Uh? No, after we got some tacos and uh you know,
late night tacos. Good times. There was even a kiss,
you know, not like fireworks over doing the iron, but
that's very sign I could see.

Speaker 4 (02:21):
I could see it going somewhere. You know, potentially the things.

Speaker 5 (02:25):
Could ramp up a little bit with another date or
two or whatever.

Speaker 1 (02:30):
Did it get weird at any point? I mean, it's
great that she went with you after pottery to g
at tacos. That should be a good sign.

Speaker 5 (02:38):
I mean I dare her to try the firebomb sauce
to the taco place, and she did and then like
almost died, and I was sort of laughing.

Speaker 4 (02:47):
I don't know, I like, I.

Speaker 5 (02:49):
Didn't know it was that serious, but like she just
wouldn't stop coughing. You know, someone takes like hot sauce
to the dome and it's like, Okay, they're coughing, fine,
but like she just kept coughing and coughing.

Speaker 4 (03:01):
And I was laughing at first, but then all of
a sudden it was like, oh no, probably not. Probably
not a funny moment.

Speaker 2 (03:09):
Is that the reason you think she's ghosting you? Because
you made her try hot sauce and it was too
hot for I.

Speaker 5 (03:14):
Mean, it wasn't too hot, like she was like not
doing well like herned color, you know, like, yeah, but
I've had too hot.

Speaker 4 (03:24):
There's like too hot.

Speaker 5 (03:25):
And then there's like, okay, excuse me, I need like
I need to go get tons and tons of RICEE.

Speaker 1 (03:31):
Okay, so you put her mouth on fire, So that
could be why you're getting ghosted.

Speaker 4 (03:35):
Possibly.

Speaker 3 (03:36):
What's the last thing that she said to you?

Speaker 4 (03:41):
I don't remember? Good night?

Speaker 3 (03:45):
Sounds like this is a really great date. Awkward.

Speaker 4 (03:49):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (03:49):
No, Caleb is on the phone and we're about to
call Naomi and see if she'll tell us why she's
ghosting him. It has been over a week and he
hasn't heard from her since their date. Before we do that, Caleb,
why don't you break down your day again for us
real quick one more time.

Speaker 4 (04:02):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (04:03):
So we we did some mug painting making painting at
the DIY pottery spot.

Speaker 4 (04:10):
Uh. I thought she was super.

Speaker 5 (04:13):
Funny and uh, you know, dry, and she actually laughed
at my jokes, which, let's be real, is very rare.

Speaker 4 (04:21):
Uh.

Speaker 6 (04:22):
And we got the night nighte tacos.

Speaker 5 (04:25):
I dared her to try the hottest sauce. I thought
it was hilarious, but then it got weird.

Speaker 2 (04:32):
She was actually not doing well and you're laughing at
some sort of crazy reaction to the Yeah.

Speaker 5 (04:39):
Yeah, but we did get there was a good night kid,
and she said good night, and but since then she
hasn't responded to my text.

Speaker 3 (04:47):
All right, you ready for us to call her?

Speaker 4 (04:50):
Yeah?

Speaker 8 (04:50):
Okay, Hello, Hi is this Naomi?

Speaker 3 (05:05):
This is hey Naomi. How are you? This is the
Jubil Show. It's a radio show.

Speaker 5 (05:09):
Hi.

Speaker 3 (05:09):
I'm Nina. Hi, I'm Victoria and I'm Jewbell. How are you?

Speaker 4 (05:12):
Oh? Wait?

Speaker 6 (05:13):
Wait? What is this real?

Speaker 9 (05:15):
Because I kind of thought these were just stage for
you know, YouTube or something.

Speaker 3 (05:20):
No, they're not. This is for real. Yeah, how are you?

Speaker 1 (05:23):
So?

Speaker 3 (05:23):
I guess you know what this is?

Speaker 6 (05:25):
Yeah, I mean I've a little bit.

Speaker 9 (05:28):
I've heard it here and there, but I honestly just
never thought this like real thing, like somebody wrote it
up for you know.

Speaker 6 (05:35):
I don't know.

Speaker 9 (05:36):
I've honestly just never thought I was going to get
a call like this. I'm a little unprepared.

Speaker 2 (05:40):
Okay, So, are you cheating on anybody?

Speaker 3 (05:44):
Let's start there.

Speaker 9 (05:46):
Wow, wait, just like dive right in. I mean I'm
not like cheating on anybody. I was sort of seeing
someone for a minute.

Speaker 2 (05:55):
Oh no, wait, yeah no, I'm just asking because we
do a few different things on this show.

Speaker 3 (05:59):
I didn't know if you know exactly what we're calling.
This is a first day follow up.

Speaker 2 (06:02):
So if you go out on a date with somebody
and ghost that person, that person can email us to
call you and ask why you're ghosting them. So we
got an email about you from somebody that you're ghosting.

Speaker 6 (06:12):
Okay, is this about Caleb?

Speaker 2 (06:15):
Yes, Oh, it is about Caleb. He said he liked
you a lot. He told us a little bit about
your date, but he's confused.

Speaker 9 (06:21):
Okay, you know what, I don't know how to say
this nicely, so I'm just gonna say it.

Speaker 4 (06:26):
Caleb is a.

Speaker 3 (06:26):
Minute a menace? What?

Speaker 4 (06:29):
Yeah?

Speaker 3 (06:30):
Okay? Why is he a menace?

Speaker 9 (06:33):
So the date was actually a lot of fun and
I did have a good time, but there was this
incident with like hot sauce and I genuinely could not breathe.
It was so horrible, and aside from the fact that
it was killing me, people were like staring at me.

Speaker 6 (06:48):
It was so embarrassing.

Speaker 3 (06:50):
He told us about that.

Speaker 2 (06:51):
Actually he said he felt bad because like he thought,
you know, it was just too hot for you. But
then he realized after he was laughing at you that
it was a really bad situation.

Speaker 6 (07:00):
Yeah, I was bad.

Speaker 9 (07:01):
I had a way to bring me milk and honey,
and then Cayleb is over there making a like a
joke about some sort of spicy relationship. Well, I'm literally
feeling my cloat on my throat closing up.

Speaker 6 (07:13):
It was genuinely awful.

Speaker 4 (07:15):
Oh wait, wait, wait, wait, wait. To be fair, though, Naomi,
you did survive and a joke was pretty solid.

Speaker 2 (07:22):
He's actually on the phone listing I want to talk
to you. Why do I feel like, yeah, oh.

Speaker 9 (07:29):
My god, Caleb, are you seriously put me in this
situation after everything you just pulled with me? Seriously, like
I cannot believe that I'm even speaking to you on
the radio right now. Clearly, if I'm not responding to you,
then that should have been like your first time.

Speaker 1 (07:46):
Wow.

Speaker 5 (07:47):
Yeah, but see, but you kissed me, so I was
really confused.

Speaker 6 (07:52):
Here's the thing, you know what, honestly, I do regret
that kiss.

Speaker 9 (07:56):
But I think in some retrospects, maybe just in some
way I'm thinking about this, maybe the kids had more
to do with I was hoping my mouth was still
on fire, so maybe you could actually feel.

Speaker 3 (08:05):
What you're ghosting him.

Speaker 6 (08:10):
You know what, I think it.

Speaker 9 (08:12):
Would have been really nice if you had like actually
took action when you saw.

Speaker 6 (08:16):
How much pain I was in.

Speaker 9 (08:18):
You literally just sat there and were cracking up about
it like it was honest. I mean, you know, there
was also this other incident at the pottery place we
went to, also embarrassing, and I actually had the manager

(08:38):
call me about you specifically, what yeah and the marriage?

Speaker 4 (08:45):
How did you have your phone number?

Speaker 6 (08:48):
Why didn't make the reservation to go?

Speaker 4 (08:51):
So?

Speaker 3 (08:51):
Why did they call it that? What did he do?

Speaker 9 (08:54):
Okay, in line with him being a medace apparently what
Tayla's thought would be funny to do with to etch
on the pottery help I'm trapped in this mug.

Speaker 6 (09:08):
Before they fired it, and they.

Speaker 3 (09:09):
Were a mute And what did you say after that? Naomi?

Speaker 9 (09:13):
Basically, I again in shock that I'm having this company
called me about Caleb being a jerk, and they they
didn't like this, like they thought it was funny. They
you know, they took it very seriously, and you know,
I actually had to speak to the manager and the
manager's being a total careen to me and I was
being so nice and I had to make sure that

(09:33):
they didn't ban up from that shop.

Speaker 4 (09:35):
Nammy.

Speaker 5 (09:36):
The joke is actually funny though, because all of these
people on the radio just laughed at it.

Speaker 3 (09:41):
Yeah, I thought about it.

Speaker 6 (09:45):
Oh also, they told me that you drew a.

Speaker 2 (09:51):
So it wasn't what he wrote on and it was
probably that.

Speaker 4 (09:57):
I mean.

Speaker 8 (09:59):
Anymore.

Speaker 9 (10:01):
Oh my god, you're so you're being really ridiculous right now.
Like you might think this is all funny, but you're
a freaking adult.

Speaker 4 (10:11):
That's a great story though, being banned from a pond. No,
we didn't kicked out. We didn't get kicked out of
the bar. We got kicked out of them.

Speaker 5 (10:21):
We got eighty six from the DIY pottery.

Speaker 6 (10:26):
That's more pathetic than getting out of a bar. Getting
kicked out of a bar.

Speaker 9 (10:29):
The fact that you can't even understand that just shows
your level of maturity.

Speaker 3 (10:35):
Would you like another day with Caleb? We'll pay for it.

Speaker 9 (10:38):
Oh yeah, absolutely, I am so ready to go on
another date with him. Listen, Caleb, you might actually think
you're a funny guy, and maybe in some areas you are,
but you're also the kind of guy who would be
trashy enough.

Speaker 6 (10:51):
To get us kicked out of Applebee's. A hard path
on it.

Speaker 4 (10:57):
I would never eat at Applebee's. First of all, I
have taste.

Speaker 5 (11:00):
Okay, fine, You're not as funny as I thought anyway,
But oh yeah.

Speaker 4 (11:04):
Do they still have my penis mug?

Speaker 6 (11:08):
Seriously, honestly, this is what I'm talking about.

Speaker 3 (11:11):
You.

Speaker 9 (11:11):
You're just a disgusting person. I think you need to
grow up a little bit. And let's be real, you've
got a bunch of people on air laughing alongside you.
You're really not that funny. People are trying to wake up,
they're trying to have some laughs, and all you are
is some pathetic person on the line.

Speaker 5 (11:29):
The best part of waking up is an annial so.

Speaker 4 (11:37):
Grown.
