getting ghosted by a woman named Kirsten. So in a
second we're gonna call her and see if she'll tell
us why she's ghosting him and maybe get him a
second date. But first, John, how long has it been
since you talked to Kirston.

Speaker 2 (00:22):
It's been a couple of weeks, like one week.

Speaker 3 (00:24):
I guess it's just like more than that. But yes,
she's one week.

Speaker 2 (00:27):
Okay, yeah, uh, maybe it's I don't think so well.

Speaker 1 (00:33):
I mean usually kind of you usually kind of get
a feeling.

Speaker 3 (00:35):
Have you been trying to hit her up and she's
just not responding.

Speaker 2 (00:38):
I've been hit her up and yeah, we had a
great date and then you know, she replied right away afterwards,
and then yeah, it's been ghosting.

Speaker 3 (00:48):
So and I know you guys do this, but I'm
gonna get her getting taller and find out what happened. Okay,
well tell us about the day. Sure, Uh so that
matters to each old friends.

Speaker 2 (01:01):
And I liked her immediately, like she's focused since she's ambitious,
like she's like a working girl.

Speaker 3 (01:08):
A working woman that you look like a working girl.

Speaker 2 (01:16):
Actually, actually we watched that. I don't know if we Well, anyway,
we didn't end up watching that Working Girl the Sigourney
Weaver movie. Yeah, yeah, we both like old movies. Anyway, Sorry,
I'm rambling here.

Speaker 4 (01:35):
Uh.

Speaker 2 (01:36):
I like her style, She's like, I mean yeah, She's like,
oh yeah, you're right, I hear it now, working.

Speaker 5 (01:41):
Girl, it's a working girl style.

Speaker 3 (01:44):
I mean like, oa, I hear myself. I didn't follow
her that. I don't think it's bad.

Speaker 5 (01:50):
Oh man.

So but instead of going out, we kind of did
like a cozy movie night, which for a first date
feels very kind of you know, it's not a first
date thing exactly. It felt intimate because we both like
classic films, like, you know, something might be entire classic
or like from the eighties, and we did watch Work
and Girl.

Speaker 3 (02:12):
She suggested it. Actually okay, so uh uh huh.

Speaker 2 (02:16):
But we did a whole thing of it as if
we were already dating, like blankets, you know, like damn
lighting and all that stuff. And we shared a giant
It was fun. I have a great time. We shared
a giant bowl of popcorn, and we were like quoting
lines from the movie like I have a mind for body.

body for sin. All right, Yeah, it felt yeah, it
felt like it's it was sweet. It was like intimate,
but there was like one maybe awkward thing which I
keep playing in my mind, which is the only thing
that she hasn't responded to me. But basically, at one
point we both rechared the palkcorn at the same time,

and I kind of panic and I held on maybe
for like a second too long.

Speaker 3 (03:04):
I was like, are we holding hands or pull away?

Speaker 2 (03:08):
And then I tried to play it off like I
was just like checking her pulse or something.

Speaker 3 (03:14):
Yeah, I don't know if.

Speaker 2 (03:16):
I don't know if that was where she laughed though,
so I thought it was in the moment, I thought
it was like charming and not weird. But but and
this is the big butt for me. I know her
phone was buzzing the whole night. She didn't have that
ammus she had on buzzed. Anytime someone texts, the bung
goes on and the name shows up.

Speaker 3 (03:34):
And it's Kenneth, Kenneth, it's the first date. So I
ignored it, but you know it happened.

Speaker 2 (03:42):
Did have the whole night After the date, she says
that she had a great time, you know, I replied back,
of course I did too, and then communications slowed so
so much. But I have a theory, and may I
hope you guys can feel this is right. I think
she's ghosting me because there's another guy in the picture.

His name is Kenneth, and that's who she was texting
with the whole night. Okay, so you think that's what
I think is happening. Yeah, all right, because she has
not responded to me. Now, I scept for that one
text after the day.

Okay, John is on the phone and John is getting
ghosted by Kirston. So in a second, we're gonna call
her and see if she'll tell us why she's ghosting
him and maybe get him a second date. But first, John,
why don't you break down your date again for us
real quick.

Speaker 2 (04:31):
Sure, I met Kirsten's your mutual friends. I feel like
we hit it off immediately. Our first date was like
a cozy movie night in which was really fun. But
the whole night she's basically texting with a guy named
a person named Kenneth on the phone.

Speaker 3 (04:49):
I don't know what that is.

Speaker 2 (04:52):
She's basically been in communicado since then. She hasn't responded
to me. Okay, not I do.

Speaker 3 (04:57):
Is that a good summary? I think it was pretty
good dude, while you were there. Yeah, that's something, all right?
Are you ready for us to call her? I don't know. Okay,

Yes, John emailed us. Apparently you're you're doing quite a
bit of ghosting. But John is the one. Where are
you meeting that? Would you mind telling us why you're
ghosting John?

I I didn't think I was ghosting John at all.

I mean I texted him.

After a movie night and I left town for work,
and I told him about this, like, I travel a
lot with my job.

You know, I deal with a lot of high pressure
investments and super long days and so I.

Wasn't like ghosting him. And I told him like I
had to leave for work and so. But honestly, he
started texting me a lot.

Oh crap, Okay, yeah, Hi, how are you John?

I told you that I was traveling for work.

for work, and I told you that my days were
super busy. I can just be texting back and forth.

I mean, I did not sex you a few times
a day. But also, you did not text me that
you're going out of town for work.
