Speaker 1 (00:00):
First Date follow Up.

Speaker 2 (00:02):
Ryan is on the phone today for our first date
follow up, and he's getting ghosted by Christine. So in
a few minutes we're gonna call her and see if
she'll tell us why she's ghosting him and maybe get
him another date. But first, Ryan, how long has it
been since you heard from Christine.

Speaker 3 (00:16):
It's been it's been a few minutes. I'm not gonna lie.

Speaker 4 (00:19):
I'm getting a little I'm excited that we could reconnect,
but I'm a little bit concerned why she hasn't gotten
back to me.

Speaker 5 (00:26):
Okay, that's fair. But when you say, like it's been
a few minutes.

Speaker 3 (00:29):
Like a week, like I would say within a week, Yeah.

Speaker 5 (00:33):
Let's talk about the date and see if we can
figure out why.

Speaker 3 (00:38):
Well, this is the confusing part. Okay. So, like we
went to this a client stood festival.

Speaker 4 (00:43):
Okay, We're in this park and it was like so
awesome that there's like boots everywhere, like monzarella fresh.

Speaker 3 (00:49):
Mozarella, everything is writing. Yeah, and we both geeked out.
Clearly she's into food.

Speaker 4 (00:56):
Like I am, and we were just we ended up
in this little tiny family done sort of run like deli. Okay,
and it's so good, like insane Italian combo sandwich, like
life changing sandwich.

Speaker 6 (01:10):
Okay really, and so after stuff in our faces, gat
up this little dive bar and it was just like
old jukebox sticky fors darts that never go straight, and
somehow she just destroyed the dark totally, just wiped the floor.

Speaker 3 (01:28):
Me not even competitive, but it was fun, you know, yeah, yeah,
and then she stayed over.

Speaker 1 (01:36):
Oh okay, so that sounds like the date went well.

Speaker 4 (01:39):
Oh phenomenal, I mean, laughing, talking, vibing and look, I'm
not gonna lie.

Speaker 3 (01:45):
Did we hook up?

Speaker 4 (01:45):
Yes, and everything was just great.

Speaker 1 (01:50):
So then what went wrong?

Speaker 7 (01:53):
Well, here's the thing. Okay, so I think I think
she stole my punch card. Punch card, Yeah, okay, So because.

Speaker 4 (02:03):
We're both into food and stuff like that, I've shown
her like Delly's punch cards from these Okay. It's like
this a restaurant. It's like twenty sandwiches, get you a
free sandwich every week for six months if you're finished
in under three months. And look, it's a stupid flex,
but she was impressed. She was like checking it out
the whole time, you.

Speaker 3 (02:20):
Know, like I mean, she was hanging on.

Speaker 4 (02:22):
So it's funny, like it was kind of like a
running joke. But then the next morning, the card's just gone. Okay,
it just vanished and she left before I woke up,
and Oz, I think she took it, like pocketed it,
And I know she's goes to it because she doesn't
want to face that.

Speaker 3 (02:37):
And like, who stowed a punch card? It's not even money,
it's sandwiches.

Speaker 5 (02:40):
It's weird you did use it to impress her though,
so like, clearly you guys both appreciate.

Speaker 1 (02:45):
The sandwich punch Yeah, could you have just dropped it?

Speaker 7 (02:51):
Though?

Speaker 1 (02:51):
Are you sure she stole it?

Speaker 3 (02:53):
It was?

Speaker 4 (02:54):
I am telling you, I know where it is. She
had it last It's it's gone.

Speaker 3 (02:59):
I checked every okay, and I worked hard for that,
you know.

Speaker 2 (03:02):
So do you want another dat or you just want
your punch card back?

Speaker 3 (03:08):
Both? I'll take her for it.

Speaker 4 (03:09):
I don't know.

Speaker 5 (03:10):
But wait, if she actually did steal your punch card
and agrees to go on a date with you anyway,
are you cool with that?

Speaker 3 (03:16):
Yeah?

Speaker 4 (03:16):
I would want to talk about it and see what's
going on, and like maybe like maybe it was an accident.

Speaker 3 (03:21):
Look, I'm willing to give the cent into the down.
Could totally the OAP sized space.

Speaker 1 (03:25):
Well, we'll see why she's ghosting you.

Speaker 2 (03:28):
And if she did take your punch card, why don't
you recap your dat again real quick?

Speaker 3 (03:34):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (03:34):
So Christina and I went out and we hit like
this super cool food festival, ate a bunch of food,
had a great time, and then we ended up going
back to my place hooking up. But when she left
in the morning, I noticed that my punch card for
this great restaurant is like gone, and I think that
she took it.

Speaker 2 (03:53):
Okay, so we're going to fight. So our mission here
is to find out why you're getting ghosted, maybe get
you a second date, and also get your punch card back.

Speaker 1 (04:03):
Yeah, okay, here we are. Are you ready?

Speaker 3 (04:07):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (04:07):
Okay, Hello, Hi man, I speak to Christine. Please is
this she? Hey Christine? How are you? This is a
radio show. It's called The Jewbel Show.

Speaker 5 (04:21):
Hi Christine, I'm Nina.

Speaker 1 (04:22):
Hi, I'm Victoria and my name is Jubell. How are you.

Speaker 8 (04:25):
I'm good?

Speaker 2 (04:27):
How are you great? Thanks for asking? Have you ever
listened to the show before?

Speaker 3 (04:34):
No?

Speaker 1 (04:35):
Oh cool? Okay, so a little bit about us.

Speaker 2 (04:37):
We do a segment called it's called the First Aid
follow Up That's where if you go out on a
date with somebody and then you end up ghosting them,
that person can email us to get you on the
phone and ask about why you're ghosting them. Do you
have a few minutes to talk to us because we
got an email about you from somebody?

Speaker 8 (04:53):
Oh god, I guess, so.

Speaker 1 (04:58):
Are you ghosting somebody?

Speaker 9 (05:02):
I guess there's somebody that comes to mind that I
haven't responded.

Speaker 5 (05:07):
Okay, So is this like an intentional or you just
like I'll get back to him later.

Speaker 8 (05:14):
I don't know.

Speaker 9 (05:15):
I just I guess I just didn't know what to say,
and then, you know, like time got.

Speaker 5 (05:19):
Away from me kind of yeah, Okay, well who are
you talking about? Let's make sure it's the same person.

Speaker 4 (05:27):
His name is.

Speaker 1 (05:28):
Ryan, Yes, Christine, that's who emailed us.

Speaker 2 (05:32):
Ryan emailed us. He told us about your date. He
said it was awesome and he really liked you. But
he's wondering why you're not getting back to him.

Speaker 1 (05:38):
Can you tell us?

Speaker 9 (05:41):
It was sort of embarrassing and I don't usually kiss
and tell.

Speaker 4 (05:45):
But.

Speaker 8 (05:47):
I yes, I was just in bed. He was kind
of like, I don't even know how to say this nicely.
He was mid oh, are you kidding me?

Speaker 1 (06:05):
Ryan, He's on the phone and you wasn't.

Speaker 8 (06:12):
Yeah, some awkward but yeah, I mean I would.

Speaker 3 (06:16):
Say that and you're not. You're really okay.

Speaker 9 (06:18):
I'm sorry, You're not awful. It's just like there was
a lot of talking and you were like giving me
play by a place like it was like so or something,
and at one point you it was just a lot
of verbal At one point you whispered time to stack
the layers like that right in my ear.

Speaker 3 (06:41):
Listen.

Speaker 4 (06:42):
I was being placeful. I was being playful and original.
I was being playful, Christine Jack The layers is like romantic,
it's a medicale for depth and blaze.

Speaker 3 (06:51):
Come on.

Speaker 8 (06:52):
I mean, okay, I thought you had potential. It was like,
you're sweet.

Speaker 3 (06:57):
The day was really fun.

Speaker 9 (06:59):
And I was open, you know, I was open at
that point to seeing where things could go. But I
just I don't know if it's gonna work out, to
be honest.

Speaker 3 (07:07):
Yeah right, I know what this is. I know what
it is, Christine.

Speaker 4 (07:11):
You know it didn't work out because you're a liar
and you sold my punch card. Okay, and I'm not
gonna let you ruin my bedroom wrapper talk about this
potential bullsh Listen, you're the last one to see my
punch card and now it's gone. That just own it.

Speaker 8 (07:25):
Oh my god, I did not take your stupid punch cart. Like,
why would I risk my integrity for a sandwich punch cart?

Speaker 9 (07:33):
It's not the holy Grail.

Speaker 3 (07:34):
It's just because you admired it. And why were you
handling it all night? You asked questions about it? Who
held it? Then it was gone? Where else would it go?

Speaker 8 (07:43):
Yeah?

Speaker 9 (07:44):
I admired it like a museum pie is not like
I was planning at Heidi's. I mean, have you looked
between your couch Christians?

Speaker 3 (07:54):
Yeah, I looked at it.

Speaker 8 (07:57):
You find yourself awarenes is in there because it seems
to be missing as well.

Speaker 4 (08:03):
Oh that's really really good. That's really good, as good
as the sandwich. You're probably gonna steal once you take
that punch card and.

Speaker 3 (08:09):
Cash it in. I already know the deal. Man.

Speaker 8 (08:11):
I don't have your punch card. It's probably in your
house somewhere. Your house is kind of a mess.

Speaker 3 (08:17):
You have one town. God, yeah, your morals are a mess.

Speaker 4 (08:20):
If you're stealing on a date and you think that's okay,
it's not okay. And I'm telling you, if I had
I wish, I wish I had a camera, I would
I should have set up a camera.

Speaker 3 (08:28):
You could be so red handed right.

Speaker 10 (08:29):
Now you can know what the second layers was. If
you had a camera, Christine, I might know the answer
to this. I'm gonna ask, though, would you like a
second date with Ryan?

Speaker 1 (08:41):
We will pay for it?

Speaker 8 (08:43):
No in bad Yeah, they.

Speaker 3 (08:55):
Say whatever you want, Seef. We both know you like
my sandwich card, and you and you're gonna just you
know what. I hope that's it.

Speaker 8 (09:04):
It's like under your stack of nail and you're gonna
be so embarrassed.

Speaker 3 (09:08):
Oh yeah, I'm really embarrassed. Trust me. I looked everywhere.
I know my sandwich card.

Speaker 8 (09:12):
Okay, boyd Bye Sandwich King.
