Speaker 1 (00:00):
First Date follow Up powered by the Advocates Injury Attorneys
online at advocatesla dot com.

Speaker 2 (00:07):
Selena is on the phone today for a first day
follow up and she's getting ghosted by a dude named Justin.
So in a few minutes we'll call him and see
if you'll tell us why he's ghostinger and maybe get
her a second date. But first, Selena, how long has
it been since you talked to Justin?

Speaker 1 (00:20):
Ten days to hold days? Can you believe it?

Speaker 2 (00:25):
I can't believe it, I know, and am len me
sound very nice? So I don't. I don't understand.

Speaker 3 (00:29):
And it feels like it's meant to be, right Selena
and Justin? What a coincidence?

Speaker 4 (00:33):
Right?

Speaker 1 (00:34):
We could be the couple that makes.

Speaker 3 (00:36):
It, make it, I know? But she could have. You
tried to get a hold of Justin.

Speaker 1 (00:44):
Yeah, I sent him a text, you know, and she
did not respond to it. I mean, it wasn't nineteen bad,
it was just casual. I said, hey, hope you're not
in a lavender donut coma text? Nothing, and then I
told her I can't wait to see him again, and
still nothing at last.

Speaker 2 (01:04):
I don't understand the inside joke.

Speaker 1 (01:09):
That's just an inside joke.

Speaker 2 (01:11):
Okay, I was curious, So what did you guys do
on your date?

Speaker 1 (01:15):
Okay? So we met at a food truck festival, which
is already cute, right yeah, right, yeah. I was wearing
I was wearing my fun and chill but also hot outfit,
and he was like in a Patagonia dad gear very
I hike for fun energy. Uh yeah yeah. And we

(01:37):
tried everything, tacos, dumplings, these insane garlic noodles.

Speaker 4 (01:41):
I still dream about them.

Speaker 1 (01:43):
And we ended the night sharing a lavender donut under
fairy lights. That's you. Yeah, and he laughed at all
my jokes. He said I had the best energy he's
been around in months. So yeah, obviously I thought we
were vibing hard.

Speaker 3 (01:59):
Yeah. So did you guys kiss or anything?

Speaker 5 (02:03):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (02:03):
Yeah, at the end of the night, like you know, well,
actually what happened was like I was wearing like really
strong perfume and he started sneezing a lot, and I
asked if he was allergic, and he goes, no, no,
but he started breathing like a pug and a sana
and I was like, oh shoot. And then I was like,
maybe I gave him a mile asthma pet like I
don't know. Yeah, but kissed goodbye and he didn't die,

(02:30):
so I figured.

Speaker 2 (02:31):
We were cool through.

Speaker 3 (02:36):
You do have good energy, ok have fun?

Speaker 2 (02:41):
Yeah? Why do you think he's ghosting you?

Speaker 4 (02:46):
I really don't know.

Speaker 1 (02:48):
I mean I was thinking that, you know, the whole like,
you know, maybe was like really actually allergic and he
didn't want to say anything, and he's maybe in a
coma right now, you know, we don't know.

Speaker 2 (03:00):
All right, Well, let's figure it out for you. We'll
play a song come back, and then call him and
see if he'll tell us why he's ghosting you and
maybe get you a second date. Okay, Yeah, Selena is
on the phone and she's getting ghosted by a guy
named Justin. So we're going to call him in just
a second and see if he'll tell us why he's
ghosting her and maybe get her a second date. But
real quick, Selena, why don't you break down your date

(03:20):
again and why you think you're getting ghosted?

Speaker 1 (03:22):
Yeah? I had the most dreamy date.

Speaker 4 (03:25):
You know.

Speaker 1 (03:25):
We went to a food truck festival. We ate a
lot of stuff, you know. We ended the night with
a dreamy kiss, and I think he might just be
ghosting me because of the perfume I was wearing. Maybe
it was too much, you know, and he didn't want
to say anything about that. I don't know, but like
I feel like we had a great date, but.

Speaker 3 (03:43):
He was starting to what does it breathe like a pug?

Speaker 4 (03:48):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (03:49):
Yeah, all right, Well are you ready for us to
call the pug in asana and see how he's doing?

Speaker 1 (03:56):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (03:57):
Yeah, here we go.

Speaker 5 (04:10):
Hello.

Speaker 2 (04:10):
Hey is this Justin?

Speaker 1 (04:13):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (04:13):
Justin? How are you?

Speaker 4 (04:15):
I'm doing? Don't care who's calling.

Speaker 2 (04:17):
This is the Jubil Show. It's a radio show.

Speaker 3 (04:19):
Hi, Justin. My name is Nina. Hi, I'm Victoria.

Speaker 4 (04:23):
What's going on? Guys?

Speaker 2 (04:26):
Not much? Have you ever listened to the show before?

Speaker 4 (04:29):
I've heard of it, but I've been listening to it.

Speaker 2 (04:31):
For Okay, guess what, Justin, you're on the show today
because we got an email about you. Okay, So we
do a segment that's called the first Date follow Up.
What that is is if you go on a date
with someone and you ghost them, they can email us
to call you and ask why you're ghosting? And you're

(04:52):
ghosting somebody, so they email us about you.

Speaker 4 (04:55):
Yeah, this is about right.

Speaker 2 (04:59):
Yes, it is about Selena.

Speaker 4 (05:01):
But look, she's well, I had a time, but there
was just like there was just something that happened that
I couldn't shake.

Speaker 2 (05:11):
It was about, do you have time to tell us
what that thing is that you couldn't shake.

Speaker 5 (05:16):
Yeah, she brought it ziplop bag and in the ziploc
bag was.

Speaker 4 (05:24):
Just like a fistful of her hair.

Speaker 2 (05:29):
WHOA wait what?

Speaker 4 (05:31):
Yeah?

Speaker 5 (05:32):
We were having this like picnic and you know, she
pulls out this bag like casually and I thought she
was bringing out snacks.

Speaker 4 (05:41):
Nope, it was her hair, her hair.

Speaker 3 (05:44):
Alsten, did you ask her why she had her hair?

Speaker 4 (05:48):
I think I was just taking it all in.

Speaker 5 (05:50):
I was just like, uh, oh, okay, there's got to
be an air explanation to this, and that's her hair.
And it was like like she was just like taking
out like oh yeah, like.

Speaker 4 (06:06):
There's a Tuesday pile of hair.

Speaker 3 (06:08):
Oh interesting, every day had its own pile.

Speaker 5 (06:12):
I asked, And I guess he's tracking her hair scientifically.

Speaker 4 (06:18):
I don't know what that meaning.

Speaker 5 (06:20):
Really asked that many questions, but she said she loses
a certain amount of hair every day and so she
collected and she's just checking it for violamins. What if
that means interesting.

Speaker 4 (06:33):
She literally said that. Look, she told me the amount of.

Speaker 5 (06:36):
Hair she loses her and she was more humid, like
in humid in human weather.

Speaker 4 (06:42):
I lose you know, two one hundred and forty strands
a day.

Speaker 2 (06:46):
And she brought up back, who knows that?

Speaker 1 (06:49):
Okay, first of all, it's not weird, it's.

Speaker 2 (06:53):
Data just in. That's Selena. She's on the phone and
wants to talk to you.

Speaker 1 (06:59):
Hi, do you have something against science or something? I
had no idea how judgmental you are?

Speaker 4 (07:06):
Selena? Why are you on the call? Why might be
ambushed with this? This is ridiculous.

Speaker 1 (07:11):
I just wanted to know why you were ghosting me,
and I can't believe this is your reason. Okay, I
am on a hair growth journey. If you can't handle
my routine, you don't deserve the results.

Speaker 5 (07:25):
Wow, Okay, I don't have.

Speaker 4 (07:28):
To be on the hair growth journey with you. I
do have to be on the hair growth journey.

Speaker 5 (07:32):
Like why, Like a ziploc bag is your.

Speaker 4 (07:35):
Hair, that's like that's a boundaries thing. It's not that's not.

Speaker 5 (07:40):
Normal or comfortable for another person. You're around to you
pulling out sass of your hair, Like I don't you
could have done it like a little more discreetly. I
don't care what you do in private. I have nothing
against science, but I don't want to be looking at
your science. We're having a picnic.

Speaker 1 (07:59):
Listen, there is a thing wrong with what I am doing.
I'm just tracking my shedding. It's responsible.

Speaker 4 (08:06):
It's called file feedback. Okay, all right? The range, girl,
it's called the range. You're the range.

Speaker 1 (08:14):
Serious more ankle stocks with slides, So maybe let's not
act like you're the pinnacle of.

Speaker 5 (08:24):
All right.

Speaker 4 (08:24):
It was a style choice.

Speaker 5 (08:25):
It wasn't like at least I wasn't wearing slippers pair
on my feet.

Speaker 1 (08:33):
Oh, so that was a style choice. I guess ghosting
was a style choice too.

Speaker 5 (08:39):
Apparently, I was I supposed to handle a ziplock.

Speaker 4 (08:43):
Of hair, I mean wardive.

Speaker 6 (08:48):
Yeah, but that's not something you do on the first
aide I have to know about all your business and science.
I don't need to know about anything more. Your body
is working at that point when we're just trying to
enjoy a picnic.

Speaker 1 (09:05):
Well, I have to keep it with me to track
my hair as they fall. Otherwise wouldn't be very scientific.

Speaker 5 (09:17):
Yeah, but I think science could be paused for enough
or during a picnic.

Speaker 1 (09:22):
I can't believe this, Justin, we had such a great
time and you're gonna let it go. Over this, I'm
gonna have Lush's hair and you're gonna.

Speaker 3 (09:30):
Be bald, all right, Justin?

Speaker 2 (09:33):
Would you like another day with Selena? Will pay for it?

Speaker 1 (09:38):
No?

Speaker 4 (09:39):
I think I'm good.

Speaker 5 (09:40):
I'm gonna be living in fear of being sorted in
the spreadsheet.

Speaker 1 (09:46):
You'd be in the low testasterum zero grit column, and
you'd be in.

Speaker 4 (09:53):
The cor own hair and a villain origin story column.

Speaker 3 (09:58):
Wow.
