It’s a crossover episode as Fudd Around and Find Out links up with Game Recognize Game for a full collab with Breanna Stewart and Myles Turner.

The group gets into what “game recognize game” really means, Azzi’s mindset heading into the final stretch of her college career, and what it feels like to win — and repeat — at the highest level. Stewie shares classic Geno and CD stories from her UConn days (including getting sent to run the Gampel stairs mid-practice), plus advice for navigating March and the transition to the pros.

Ashanti talks about moving from playing to broadcasting and why telling women’s basketball stories still matters. Myles breaks down life after a decade in Indiana, why community matters when you get drafted, and how fashion and LEGO became part of his identity off the court.

Speaker 1 (00:03):
Welcome to a special collab of Game Recognized Game with
Study and Miles, along with my favorite unanimous and iHeart
women's Sports Network podcast fut Around and find Out with
Azy Fun and Ashanti Plummer. Today's shows will combine our
favorite parts from each of our shows. We will get
to know each other a bit better and of course
have a good time.

Speaker 2 (00:21):
Hey, thanks for having us.

Speaker 3 (00:23):
We love a crossover episode.

Speaker 4 (00:25):
Yes, indeed, yes, indeed.

Speaker 5 (00:26):
The collab that everybody needed.

Speaker 6 (00:28):
Y'all some of the best in the game. Man, this
is perfect. Glad we got this coming.

Speaker 2 (00:31):
It's an honor.

Speaker 6 (00:32):
So okay, you've heard it. Game recognized Game. Just curious
to y'all, what does that mean?

Speaker 4 (00:37):
You know? When I say that game recognized game, to.

Speaker 2 (00:40):
Me, it's like a level of respect, like game recognizes game,
Like I know what you're going through, I know what
you've been through, Like I respect where you are, what
you're doing.

Speaker 7 (00:49):
I agree, even if you're not from the same like field,
maybe don't play the same sport, maybe don't play a
sport at all. It's like respecting the work that you
put in. So that's what I think it means.

Speaker 6 (01:00):
That's exactly what wanted to come off as you know.
I mean, it don't have to be just hoops, you know,
it's just mutual respecting amongst people's fields whatnot. You know,
we're on the grinding out or hustle, we all have,
you know, whatever we all do, whatever it does, you know,
to make our lives. Let's come together. So yeah, I
think that's a perfect answer. I appreciate you all for that.
That's perfect. Yeah.

Speaker 1 (01:15):
I mean, we just wanted to have a platform where
we could talk about things on the court and off
the court, similar to how you guys still you fuight
around and find out. We just wanted to to kind
of talk about some game in both worlds easy. When
was the first moment that you truly realized that you
had game?

Speaker 5 (01:31):
I feel like this is early for you. Just got
to be early.

Speaker 2 (01:34):
Like looking back, I feel like I should have realized
it sooner. But with parents as your coaches, like, it
was one of those households we never got to compliment.
It was always something you got to get better at.
So I didn't really realize how good I was, Like
my parents kind of had to tell me. So I
think it wasn't until like eighth grade where I truly
was like, okay, wait, like I am pretty good. Even

(01:55):
though people were telling me, I still didn't feel it
till probably like eighth grade, even like earlyhigh school, and
I really kind of felt comfortable believing that.

Speaker 1 (02:03):
I feel like your confidence now is just like untouchable.
Is that where you're at?

Speaker 2 (02:06):
I like to think so, Yeah, I'm definitely in a
really good head space right now.

Speaker 1 (02:10):
You have it figured out, Like you're at the end
of your college career. You're like, I know what to do.
I know what coach is going to do. Like you
just show up and do your work, and it's it's
good to see. It's awesome to see you, like just thriving.

Speaker 2 (02:21):
Thank you. I appreciate that.

Speaker 6 (02:23):
Yeah, bro, fans respective too asy. I think it's pretty dope.
I mean, you hit that flow stick, you know what
I mean. I feel like it's something that you have
to kind of like work to get to. You know,
as an athlete, know what that feels like? Can you
speak to that a little bit, like what it feels
like being like, you know, in your senior year and
just you know, not necessarily having it all figured out,
but you know have a lot of experience because you know,
you've been through quite a bit. You know, for anybody
who's obviously followed your career as far as adversity, as
far as the high, as the lows, winning a ship,

(02:44):
you know, being down, Like, what does it feel like
to kind of hit that flowstay in your senior year.

Speaker 2 (02:48):
I definitely don't have it all figured out, but I
think all that I have been through from high school
to now, but especially in college, the ups the downs
definitely sucked in the moment, but going through that, having
to figure it out through all that adverse city has
definitely helped me where I am now, like knowing that
I can get through that, knowing that I've got great teammates,
great support, staff, great family, great great people around me

(03:08):
to help me through it as well. But I think
going through those tough things really bill do. And now
it's like I went through all that, Like what can
I do I get through that? If I could win
a Natty, if I could there you go handle code
to do this? Do that, you go like keep throwing
things at me. I'm ready.

Speaker 4 (03:25):
I love that mindset. I love that mine.

Speaker 6 (03:26):
So you know, I feel like, you know, Stuie's obviously
accomplished something, and I feel it's never going to be
done ever again and winning, you know, for a championship
all four years that she was there, right you know?
With that being said, like, do you kind of feel
pressure in yourself? I mean, you guys are obviously rolling
right now undefeated, Like do you feel pressure like to
win another championship this year?

Speaker 2 (03:44):
Honestly, No, I don't feel pressure. I think it just
excites me. And I think I can't I can't only
speak to my teammates, but I'm a collective standpoint. I
feel like it's kind of just fueled us, like we
got a taste of what it's like, and now everyone
that's returning it's like, okay, I want that again, and
everyone that's new it's like, well, I want to contribute
so we can be there again. But I haven't really

(04:05):
felt too much pressure this year, And I think that
goes to also show like everything I've been through at Yukon,
it's like I've broken all of Stewie's records that she's
some times we've had so what it feels like. So
it's like I can't compare to any other team, like
we're just we're gonna go out there every night and

(04:26):
do what we do.

Speaker 1 (04:27):
I also feel like, in a sense, the like the
pressure was last year, you know what I mean, because
it was like, you guys had it won in like
a long time, Like it was like they had it
won since I left, which that was pressure on me
that I didn't want either, so appreciate that.

Speaker 5 (04:41):
But now it's like, you know, you know what it
feels like to win.

Speaker 1 (04:44):
You have that like in the back of your mind,
and that confidence is what you take to the next year.
That's that's how I felt like, especially after winning our
first it was like, oh, we know how to do
this now, like we know coaches mind games, and CD's
going to be talking about all this other stuff, and
it's like, as long as you just lock in, you
stay with your five on the court, you're going to
be good.

Speaker 2 (05:02):
Yeah. No, I completely agree. That's the blueprint. You understand
what it takes exactly.

Speaker 1 (05:10):
You talked a little bit about your circle, and I
think your circle is really important as far as like
getting through things injuries, success, failures, and now potentially the
opportunity to be the number one draft pick. How much
are you like watching that because I feel like from
what I'm seeing and I just.

Speaker 5 (05:26):
See it from social media, it's like it's fluctuating.

Speaker 1 (05:29):
You know it was going to be our FM and
now it's easy, And is there a.

Speaker 5 (05:34):
Big like you want to be number one? I'm assuming,
but are you thinking about it a lot?

Speaker 2 (05:39):
I'm not. I mean obviously that getting drafted as a
dream and being number one is a dream. It's like
I want to be in that Yukon hallway with you
and with everyone else. But I'm really not thinking about it.
I'm not on social media too much to avoid seeing
that and just hearing all the outside voices, because I've
seen with all my past teammates just how easy it
is to be consumed by that and be consumed by

(06:02):
what's next. But I'm really trying to stay present because
i know I've got two months up and I'm gonna
miss as much as I might complain. If you're listening,
I never complained CD, but like a CD game or
a CD walk, or like a team this, or like
just whatever it may be in the moments, Like, but
in two months, I'm gonna be like I wish I
had a CD walk, I wish I had a team dinner.
I wish I was getting dressed up for whatever. So

(06:25):
I'm really trying to like not think about too much
of what's going to happen after because I also I
can't control it, it's not in my hand. I got
to take business here first.

Speaker 6 (06:35):
You gotta hell the mindset a So that's groape man.
I mean, you're just you transition to a new part
of your life. So I'm glad that you got such
a mature mentality whatnot. And obviously you know, the years
of college help with that. But a little bit of
a gearshift man of us down there in Corpus Christy man,
you hold it down the broadcast, now, come on. You know,
I'm a texting baby, you know I'm a sex and
may know I follow follow my hoops. You know, I
think that this is something that's kind of new for

(06:56):
me and Stewie right coming on the broadcast side of
the podcast side y'all been doing.

Speaker 4 (07:00):
For a bit.

Speaker 6 (07:00):
But like, what was that transition like for you, you know,
going from players to broadcast? What made you like want
to kind of get into this field and just hold
it down?

Speaker 2 (07:06):
For us?

Speaker 7 (07:07):
I knew I went to stay around hoops and there
comes a time where you realize you can't play forever.
And that time came sooner than I expected. I tore
my ACL. I have many knee injuries. I feel like
I never really had like a truly healthy season, but
I did get to play professionally. But coming over to

(07:28):
the broadcast side, I was like, I definitely want to
stay around hoops, and I definitely want to stay around
women's basketball, like being a part of it. I went
to college with studies in college, so there was no
chance for us winning a championship. Thank you doing, but
you're still amazing to Watchie all seriousness, I knew I
want to be around the sports still, and to be

(07:50):
able to tell women's stories while being around the sport
is really important to me. Like I remember games having
minimal pace people in the stands too. Now games are
completely sold out. I remember where you had to really
search to look for the game, and now it's like
you can get on ESPN, you can get on the

(08:11):
main channels, and so I think it's really important to
continue to tell women's stories, to continue to be around
the sport. And it's just really beautiful to watch how
much has grown.

Speaker 4 (08:23):
I think that it's pretty dope. Man.

Speaker 6 (08:25):
I have a lot of women in my life. I
grew up with all sisters, you know what I mean. God, yeah,
only doing the family, man, we actually don't. We finally
got our first. I got my little nephew. Man, he's
like six seven years old. But you know, I've been
the only man for the fact I knew someone was
going to do it. I'm only doing the family for
the past like twenty years now, man. So you know,

(08:46):
just it's dope, you know, watching the game grow as
it has, you know, I think it's something that's going
to continue to grow. I mean, obviously just this unrival
thing is unreal. Shout out to you, Stuart Man, he
got that dumb you know. He was talking about that.
We was talking about that.

Speaker 7 (09:00):
I was like.

Speaker 1 (09:02):
That, I was just trying to score. I was trying
to score after getting routed. I just wanted to score.

Speaker 5 (09:08):
Then I won, and then a leave Boston. Just it
was just too much. It was taking.

Speaker 6 (09:13):
Clove seen that first hand the least. Yeah, So speaking
on the game, man, I'm just curious if you can
steal one thing from you know, whether it's me or
Stewie's game, you know, what would that be and why?

Speaker 4 (09:28):
Okay, take your time really digestic wanted.

Speaker 2 (09:32):
Okay, I think I mean like Stewie's versatility. There you go,
what can't you can do everything? You can handle the ball,
you can shoot, you can create off the dribble, and
guard one through five. So if I could, like, there's
literally nothing you can't do. So yeah, I'm going to
add all that to my game.

Speaker 4 (09:51):
Tility dropping all one boocket I like it.

Speaker 2 (09:53):
Yeah, I definitely want to get better at posting up.
I don't like it.

Speaker 3 (09:57):
To see that, I would love it.

Speaker 2 (10:00):
You gonna have a mouse in the house, That's what
I'm saying. I gotta embrace that. I'm not too comfortable
with that right now.

Speaker 6 (10:06):
Everybody switches man, So it's something that even even I'm
even myself to trying to work on. So yeah, you
got to have everything in your bag. Time for quick
break when we come back and shouting as we asked
us questions, including about another team that's do we just joined.

Speaker 7 (10:28):
Welcome back to a very special crossover episode of Game
Recognized Game and Butt Around and find out.

Speaker 3 (10:34):
Now we get to ask you guys some questions. Stue,
I'm gonna start with you, Sue.

Speaker 7 (10:41):
We always ask are you caon alums for their best
GENO and CD stories?

Speaker 3 (10:48):
What you got.

Speaker 7 (10:50):
Podcasts careful, honestly, they can't get me now they.

Speaker 5 (11:01):
Okay.

Speaker 1 (11:02):
So it was my freshman year and we used to
practice at Gampo. We didn't have words, we didn't have
the practice facida yet, and we were doing this drill
and it was like I missed the box out, like
literally one box out.

Speaker 5 (11:16):
I missed it.

Speaker 1 (11:16):
The practice guys got the offensive rebound and he was
like Stewie. He was like, you see those stairs, He
was like, run them. So the entire practice, the rest
of the practice, I was running up and down gamble
pavilion steps and I was like, every time I got
to the top of the concourse, I might just turn left,

(11:37):
just walk out the door, just turn.

Speaker 5 (11:38):
Left, and I went back.

Speaker 1 (11:39):
He forgot about me, and so CD had to tell
him that I was still there doing it. So that
was like one of my That was something that I'll
never forget my freshman year.

Speaker 5 (11:50):
I had a rough freshman year as far as stories.
And then CD.

Speaker 1 (11:56):
Oh, I love CD, like she's my favorite. But also
so she's like the person that knows how to push
all of your buttons. Like anything that is like coming
to it, coming up in your head, she finds it
before you even know how to say it out loud.
So it was my junior year we were doing we
were playing in this like Florida tournament or something, and

(12:19):
she was mad, like I thought I was at a
defensive stance and she wanted me to be lower, and
I just kind of gave her like a look like
fuck do you want like what.

Speaker 5 (12:31):
You would have thought? The world was ending?

Speaker 1 (12:34):
We canceled practice. We canceled practice the next day. Coach
was like, I'm not coaching the team. CD was like,
you guys are ridiculous, like.

Speaker 5 (12:42):
All these things.

Speaker 1 (12:43):
So with CD, she got eyes in the back of
her head, so you always have to make sure she's
like not looking at you if you're going to make
some faces. But with all that, I tell them all
the time, I'm like, you miss me.

Speaker 5 (12:54):
She was there. I'm like, azy, do you guys get
in trouble like this in practice more? I don't know?

Speaker 3 (13:01):
No, no, right, the people she doesn't get into.

Speaker 2 (13:07):
Everyone that comes back says that they're like, you guys
are so much softer, You just so much nicer to them. Yeah,
they definitely are after hearing some of your stories. Yeah,
way different.

Speaker 5 (13:18):
We got kicked out of the locker room.

Speaker 1 (13:20):
Oh my national championship, because we had these recruits and
they didn't want to come out, and it was like,
well why would you have recruits come after we won
a national championship. Anyways, they kicked They kicked us out
of the locker room and took all of our stuff
and put it in a different place, and then all
of our stuff got stolen.

Speaker 3 (13:38):
Respect like.

Speaker 4 (13:43):
Crazy, that's insane.

Speaker 7 (13:46):
So everyone gets kicked out. Everyone gets kicked out of
the locker room. Every year, every.

Speaker 3 (13:51):
Generation has been kicked out of the locker room.

Speaker 2 (13:53):
There was a video that resurfaced I was last year,
years ago of you and CD and she's like, Brianna
still well and that was her line to us, was like,
well you we were mocking her and she was like,
well you see how I treated Stewie, Like why do
you think I treat you guys need differently? None of
you are better than her. So if she got it,
then you're definitely gonna get it. And we're like, okay,
that's fair, that's totally fair. Yeah, she was on me

(14:17):
for my body language all the time, and that's why
you're amazing. Look at look at everyone know the discipline.

Speaker 5 (14:25):
Don't tell her cut that part out right.

Speaker 6 (14:29):
It's it's like that, y'all, like she really like like
she one of them.

Speaker 7 (14:33):
She looks like she means I can't imagine, like super ridiculous.

Speaker 5 (14:38):
Yeah, I think you.

Speaker 2 (14:39):
Need to meet her.

Speaker 6 (14:41):
I would love to make, you know, a little shake up,
you know, get a little advice here there.

Speaker 1 (14:45):
Let's let's get like a little workout with CD, going
three of us.

Speaker 2 (14:49):
I would love that, actually, CD workout. I would love that.

Speaker 4 (14:55):
Whatever. I'm always down to something to the game.

Speaker 2 (14:57):
There we go. All right, so going into March, we'll
do either of you have any advice for me, But Stewie,
do you have any advice on repeating? And I know
my mindset isn't like too focused on like the pressure
and whatever, but they're still like, you know what it's
like to be in this position, Stewart.

Speaker 4 (15:13):
This is all you.

Speaker 6 (15:13):
I got knocked down in the first round my freshman year,
and you know I left after that.

Speaker 4 (15:17):
See, I got nothing.

Speaker 3 (15:21):
I got.

Speaker 1 (15:22):
My advice for you going into this last national championship
run is to take it one game at a time.
And I think as far as like just focusing on
finishing the regular season and then you get to the
conference tournament and then you get to the national championship game.
I think that sometimes, especially in your senior year, you're
looking ahead, you know, you're seeing what's coming after and

(15:44):
all these other things, and how can you plan for it,
like stay in the moment you touched on it earlier
in the podcast of like you know, you want to
enjoy all these things, and I think the biggest thing
that I miss is like having roommates, you know, and
being with your teammates and hanging out and like going
to class and like talking shit and like having fun,
because that doesn't happen anymore. So my advice would just

(16:07):
be to remain locked in, be confident in what you do,
and then go out and do it. There's there's literally
no more thinking.

Speaker 2 (16:14):
You just have to play thoughtless planning that I need
that every game.

Speaker 7 (16:17):
Stewie as my best college player in my opinion, that's
ever played the game. Four time NTBA champion, three time
WNBA Champion, two time WNBA MVP, and three time Olympic medalists.

Speaker 3 (16:34):
Which one of them was the best?

Speaker 1 (16:36):
Honestly, this is a really hard question because they're all
like in different levels. I will say that winning the
Olympics in twenty twenty four in Paris was very special
to me because I was able to have my kids there,
you know, Ruby and Taylor were able to see me
win a gold medal and be a part of that.
But if I had to like rank WBA Championships, bringing

(17:00):
one back to New York was was by far my
favorite because it just never had been done before and
the city just has popped off since then.

Speaker 7 (17:08):
I love hearing you say that, as in New Yorker
myself and Liberty fan, I am so glad you held
it dap for us.

Speaker 3 (17:16):
You and the Liberty held.

Speaker 7 (17:17):
It down for us because it's so you know, they
say New York hasn't won it so long, and that's true.

Speaker 3 (17:23):
The Knicks haven't won and god knows how long. Good
luck to them.

Speaker 7 (17:27):
But when people are like, oh, we haven't won, we
haven't won, I said, excuse me.

Speaker 3 (17:31):
Twenty twenty four, the Liberty just won so not too much.

Speaker 7 (17:36):
So that's amazing one to be able to do what
you do on the Olympic level in front of your children,
in front of your family, and then to bring one.

Speaker 3 (17:44):
Home for New York. I mean, I can't be happy here.

Speaker 6 (17:49):
New York has got so much pride. Well, I'll say
you do and we'll be lu too my pots from there. Man,
I know how you get down.

Speaker 3 (17:59):
We are delusional.

Speaker 7 (18:00):
Like to me, the Liberty are gonna win again and
the Knicks are gonna win in my lifetime.

Speaker 4 (18:06):
Speaking to is like it.

Speaker 3 (18:08):
I'm a room for you though.

Speaker 6 (18:12):
We don't the past two years in a row. I'm
on a different team.

Speaker 4 (18:18):
You know, it's different.

Speaker 3 (18:19):
I'm a room for you to do well, but I'm
still root for the next week.

Speaker 4 (18:24):
That's respect, that's love, you know, that's game recognized a game.

Speaker 3 (18:26):
Right there?

Speaker 2 (18:27):
You go, Stull, You're also a two time euro League
Women's champion and you just signed up for another stint
with the Turkish Juggernauts. Did I say that right? Okay?
How did that come to be?

Speaker 5 (18:37):
Oh? Honestly so, I just like it literally.

Speaker 1 (18:40):
Just announced today that I signed with Fenner going back
to Fenerbachi. They they literally offered me something that I
couldn't refuse, Like I'm going to go there in beginning
in April and play the two games potentially for the
final four, and and help bring another euro League championship
back to Fenner back to Turkey. It was something that
I and think whatever happened again? And then they just

(19:03):
send me something that I'm gonn't say no to. So here,
I am going to better.

Speaker 2 (19:06):
How long will you be out there for?

Speaker 5 (19:09):
I'll be there for like two weeks? Literally, that's right.

Speaker 3 (19:13):
First of all.

Speaker 7 (19:14):
First of all, Cheko, imagine being in that Turkish league
and it's like, oh, yeah, bris do it for the last
two weeks, Chow, I know it's tight.

Speaker 2 (19:26):
If I'm the other team, I'm sick. I'm like, oh, we.

Speaker 3 (19:29):
Got she have this year.

Speaker 5 (19:32):
Was literally literally this morning.

Speaker 1 (19:34):
She was like, your grandfather told me something that wasn't true, right,
And I was like, well, what was it? He was like,
he said that you're going to Turkey And I was like, Grandma,
Grandpa's actually right about this.

Speaker 5 (19:45):
I am going to surprised to you too.

Speaker 2 (19:49):
Will the whole fam go out there with you?

Speaker 5 (19:52):
I think they will. I think that, Uh.

Speaker 1 (19:54):
The E're League Final four is actually in Spain, so
it's perfect. Don't be able to go back to Spain
for a little bit, mom and have a little European
flavor before we go start hopefully in the w bang.

Speaker 5 (20:08):
Hopefully we can get it done.

Speaker 2 (20:10):
Please please, you know what we're negotiating.

Speaker 1 (20:18):
We're negotiating a good CBA for you. Okay, I appreciate
it all that you need.

Speaker 2 (20:26):
I'm lovely spoiled, like I'm just getting every all the
good stuff you leaving behind for me. You're paving the
white sure sure talking about you didn't have the worth
practice worth practicely thank you so much. You made that
bottle the little things.

Speaker 7 (20:42):
So uh enrival one on one just wrapped and Chelsea
Gray was crown Champion. I know you mentioned a little
bit earlier playing you won a game then double losing
to Eliah Boston.

Speaker 3 (20:53):
How is it running that tournament back for the second year.

Speaker 5 (20:56):
Just try to bring that up. You brought it up.
I cut that out, you know.

Speaker 1 (21:06):
I think honestly, I think the one on one is
is really cool. And it's like, listen, you have to
you just have to put your producide and you go
out and play. And the way the format is because
it's first to eleven, twos and threes.

Speaker 5 (21:21):
You know, you never know who can kind of get
on a run.

Speaker 1 (21:24):
So I was happy to redeem myself a little bit
like score point win a game, and we talked about
ab Ab kind of knocked me out.

Speaker 5 (21:32):
She literally knocked me.

Speaker 4 (21:33):
I took the charge.

Speaker 5 (21:33):
I think I took the first.

Speaker 4 (21:34):
Charge in one on one.

Speaker 5 (21:36):
I knew that was coming. I knew she was just
gonna run right into me.

Speaker 1 (21:39):
But it's a way for people to showcase their skill
and show how much separation they can create in seven seconds.

Speaker 5 (21:45):
So shout out to Chelsea point god getting it dumb.

Speaker 1 (21:49):
If anybody watched Chelsea versus Leash, that thing was, they
were going at it.

Speaker 5 (21:54):
It was.

Speaker 1 (21:55):
It was exhausting and went down to game three and uh,
Chelsea just took the three. She went for the kill
and won that two hundred K. So also shout out
to Sprite. I know we're not doing that here, but
they put an opportunity for us to have a huge
prize in winning a one on one tournament. And it's just

(22:15):
really cool to see people support women constantly.

Speaker 4 (22:19):
That's badass, man.

Speaker 6 (22:20):
I really think, you know, to that point on the
women's side, I think the man can take a note,
you know from that, just add a little flavor to
the all start week and something, man, because like it
was fun to watch bro real real and to your point,
like you have to put your pride aside. There was
a couple of women who got shut out.

Speaker 4 (22:32):
You know what I mean?

Speaker 6 (22:32):
And you know what I'm saying, Like you know, to
your casuals watch it's like, oh she sucks, but it's
like these women are just that good, right, That's just
how it goes, man.

Speaker 4 (22:42):
So I think that was amazing.

Speaker 6 (22:43):
I think it was a good inception of it all
this year and like you know, to your point as
to that, just from a fans respective, Man, that shit
was fun to watch, bro, Like, there was really some
good games out there.

Speaker 4 (22:51):
It was dope.

Speaker 2 (22:52):
Definitely was fun to watch.

Speaker 3 (22:53):
I was holding my breath the whole last game.

Speaker 2 (22:57):
Did anyone complain about finals being on Valentine's Day?

Speaker 5 (23:00):
No, that's I mean.

Speaker 1 (23:02):
I think I think Tapessa, Chelsea's wife was actually very happy.

Speaker 3 (23:11):
Dinner on her for everybody.

Speaker 2 (23:13):
Actually, all right, Miles, there's some questions for you.

Speaker 4 (23:17):
I hit me, hit me.

Speaker 2 (23:18):
So you spent ten years with the Pacers before coming
to the Bucks. What was that transition?

Speaker 4 (23:23):
Like, man, where do I begin?

Speaker 6 (23:25):
It was tough, man, because you know, like you know,
like yourself, I was a teenager when I got drafted.
I was nineteen years old when I got drafted again.
I spent I grew up in Indiana. Basically I spent
the entirety a third of my life there, you know,
I think that more than anything, the toughest part was
the relationships I made because I had something that was
very rare. Like with an organization, I had the same

(23:45):
strength coach, I had the same PT, I had the
same like massage therapists, like the same people for ten
years straight. You know, that doesn't happen. You know, a
lot of people get fired and hired and whatnot. Like I,
you know, built real life relations with people. You know,
I got to watch their kids grow up from like
elementary school to graduating or going to college and whatnot.
So it was tough. Man, it was a tough transition

(24:06):
for me. And I'm still in that transitionary phase. Man,
It's only been four or five months since I've been
in Milwaukee, you know. But the best thing you can do,
you know, kind of just transitioning just you know, from
your side of things, is man, really immerse yourself in
the community. You know, no matter what city you get
drafted to, they're gonna be really excited and really happy
to have you there. But that same love they show you,

(24:26):
you got to show them right back. You know I'm
not talking about It doesn't have to be just like
you know, straight up philanthropic stuff. It can be as
simple as going and supporting a small business, you know,
I mean going to get some coffee at this shot
posting about it, or just getting down a week and
going to the park. You know, like people are gonna
know who you are. You know, you're you're larger in life.
More people know you than you think they do. You know,
I think that's something that I had to learn kind

(24:47):
of like the hard way. You know, it didn't help
it out seven feet tall walking around the city. But
you know, and the last thing I probably say is
is team equity. You know, it's very important, you know,
don't don't take for granted, Like kind of the steward
was saying, like, you know, just going to dinner and
all that type of stuff or just hanging out with
the girls, like you know, it's going to be a
different transition for you because you know, you have you know,
grown ass women there. You know, some of these women

(25:08):
have kids. You know, some of these women have families
go back to. But that time y'all to get to
spend together, I mean, it all helps and builds towards
you know, winn to get a championship, you know, something
that's very important. So yeah, Man, I probably say community activation,
get yourself out there and then just embrace where you're at.
You know, if you embrace the community, they'll embrace you.
I think it's really important.

Speaker 2 (25:25):
It's really good advice.

Speaker 7 (25:27):
Miles. Yeah, you're also really into fashion. Who do you
get your inspiration from?

Speaker 6 (25:33):
I love that question because I mean a bigger thing
for me is that I've always just dressed how it
felt right. So another thing too, I think is very
important is branding, and which is you already do an
amazing job. But by the way, just I want to
give kudos to you and your team, like you do
an amazing job, and just like branding yourself and just
you know, putting yourself out there. That's another thing that's
very important as well. There's a lot of young women
looking up to you, so I mean, the way you
represent yourself is huge.

Speaker 4 (25:54):
So it's key.

Speaker 6 (25:54):
But for me, Man, I didn't really care too much
about fashion when I first got to the league because
growing up, everything to fit me like this, you know
what I'm saying. All my pants is like high waters
and stuff. So I was like, man, they don't mix
up my size anyways. Right, And then as I got
more and more in my career, I learn I realized
how important it is repetent yourself or whatnot. So, you know,
I have Texas roots, you know, so I like, you know,
adding to Western flare into what I do. And then

(26:16):
I also dress really preppy. Growing up, I was the
polo Ralph Floyd. You know, I went to the whole
swag era, I know, you know what on top of
my shin I went to the old swagger and everything.

Speaker 4 (26:24):
So don't tell me.

Speaker 6 (26:28):
We came up in the same era, man, I know,
you know, but uh, I kind of like the mix
it too. I call it like a preppy Western like,
you know, type of feel. I don't necessarily get like
my inspiration from anybody in particular. I just like to
put things together, Like I have a very like creative
mind when it comes to that. You know, I enjoy
putting pieces together, you know. I enjoy you know, looking
at my closet and seeing what colors go with this,
like earth tones, like making all that stuff come together.

Speaker 4 (26:50):
So yeah, like I have like a real preppy Western
like type of like flairs.

Speaker 2 (26:53):
So you put your foots together yourself, ve a style
that you work with.

Speaker 4 (26:56):
Not for sure, So I have.

Speaker 6 (26:57):
I had a personal shopper for a minute and she
kind of helped me source, you know, help me source
clothes and whatnot. And her name is Jordan Cadell, and
she's actually really good at what she does. She does
style and being players as well. That w big players
as well. You need to shout. That's the biggest thing,
you know. It's it's hard to find stuff that actually fits,
you know what I'm saying. So she sources the right
people and then she'll help me put some look together.
But I told you I had like the ADHD mind
bro Like I'll put like four or five fitts together

(27:18):
at one time and like kind of planning them out.
Like I enjoyed the process of making you know, fits
and looks coming together.

Speaker 3 (27:23):
That killing it.

Speaker 7 (27:25):
I'll stu, you'd be putting that girl just like, I'm
just lazy. Get your stylist.

Speaker 5 (27:36):
I'm just lazy.

Speaker 2 (27:37):
Do you pick your fits up?

Speaker 5 (27:40):
No, I just I've.

Speaker 1 (27:43):
Been working with Corney Mays for a while and she's
out of the LAS and now I'm just transitioning to
a new stylist.

Speaker 5 (27:50):
In New York.

Speaker 1 (27:51):
So I'm really excited about that, just for like, just
make make everything a little bit easier. I don't know easy,
Like if you had to, if you could do tunnel
fits and college, would you do it?

Speaker 5 (28:00):
Or no?

Speaker 2 (28:01):
Absolutely not? Oh my even I'm so lazy. I wear
my pajamas if I could.

Speaker 5 (28:09):
And what you're gonna do when you get league?

Speaker 1 (28:12):
Do not.

Speaker 5 (28:14):
I'm not with some pajama pants or I will never let.

Speaker 4 (28:19):
Come through that.

Speaker 7 (28:20):
I will blow your phone up easy. But it has
to be like diamonds on it, like.

Speaker 3 (28:34):
Fluffy pink. We're not doing this.

Speaker 2 (28:38):
God Like, that's so much to think about, don't know.

Speaker 3 (28:41):
You don't have to think about it. Hire people to think.

Speaker 4 (28:43):
For you exactly. Yeah, life is different. Now life's gonna be.

Speaker 3 (28:48):
Don't worry. I'm gonna call my mama. You know, my
mam will gonna get.

Speaker 2 (28:51):
You ready, Okay, Miles. I see all those legos or
legos back there, right? Yes, I have been looked on
the whole time. How many different sets is that?

Speaker 4 (29:02):
Man?

Speaker 6 (29:02):
I got so many? Bro, if I can like pan
the camera around, hold on, let me see if I
can move my lefts up. This is just like part
of my collection. So I have a house here in
Dallas and Austin as well, but.

Speaker 3 (29:12):
They're like, no way, but it looks like.

Speaker 4 (29:18):
Those are pretty Yeah, it's pretty big.

Speaker 6 (29:19):
That's probably like two and a half three feet big,
like five thousand and six thousand pieces each. Like I
literally sit here and put all these together. Bro, It's
one of my favorite hobbies. Like I literally, yeah, come on.

Speaker 2 (29:35):
Stuard, Okay, which one is your favorite?

Speaker 4 (29:40):
My favorite? My favorite actually isn't here.

Speaker 6 (29:42):
So I have a house in Austin as well when
I went to college, and that's where like all like
my legos are.

Speaker 4 (29:47):
This is only like.

Speaker 5 (29:50):
Tell them it's Lego. It's not Legos, Lego leg.

Speaker 4 (29:53):
Look at Sue with the application. Yeah, I feel like
black people will.

Speaker 3 (29:58):
Be putting all stuff.

Speaker 5 (30:00):
Day one. He was like Lego and I was like,
come on, it's.

Speaker 3 (30:05):
Okay, easy, I'd be saying Legos.

Speaker 4 (30:07):
It's not anymore with an a Lego Lord. The fandom
and whatnot.

Speaker 6 (30:12):
It's like a sin the called Legos, like they're really
big on their branding and whatnots it's all capital letters Lego.

Speaker 4 (30:17):
Come on, So I'm actually proud. I'm proud of you.

Speaker 6 (30:19):
Girl.

Speaker 4 (30:19):
Let's not talk about come on.

Speaker 7 (30:21):
Yeah, man, So like when it's more than one, it's
still lego.

Speaker 4 (30:26):
Yeah, still lego period. These are my lego.

Speaker 3 (30:28):
Yeah, these are my lego.

Speaker 4 (30:30):
Yeah. OK, yeah, I.

Speaker 3 (30:34):
Need to know because I can't. I can't.

Speaker 5 (30:37):
Doesn't look like she's believing it.

Speaker 4 (30:42):
Man.

Speaker 6 (30:42):
We go through a whole class, whole lecture. But it's
a lot to come with it. But it's just a
really big hobby of mine.

Speaker 1 (30:46):
Man.

Speaker 6 (30:47):
Like you know, you'll see when you get to the league,
you've got so much spare time. Like you're there, you know,
you'll have the only practice maybe two maybe three hours
out the day. Then you have the rest of the
day to kind of just do whatever. And as I
got into the league, it's just a really like it's
a combineless thing for it.

Speaker 4 (31:01):
Man.

Speaker 6 (31:01):
I was able to shut the world out for a minute.
You know, it doesn't matter if I had a good game,
that's had a bad game. It's a matter got haters
on my line, Like nothing, Man, I kind of shut
the world out, put some music on and just build
you know, it's you know, it's just kind of just
something that's very relaxing to me.

Speaker 4 (31:15):
Man.

Speaker 6 (31:15):
And it kind of started like when I was back,
you know, back in school or back like in the
middle school. I probably say these right here they called bionicles.
This is like in the early nineties and whatnot. It
was like a big thing like these like robot looking things,
those like the first real like you know, big lego sets,
you know, back in the day. So I started putting
those together I as a kid, and then kind of
put it down for a minute and I picked it
back up. And when I first got to lead building it,

(31:38):
it was like, oh, you fucking nerd, you can leave
you this, this and that, Like I got no, I
got everything, and I took all the heat for it.

Speaker 4 (31:44):
But like again, it never really deterred my path.

Speaker 6 (31:46):
You know what I'm saying. It's something I just really
enjoyed doing. And you look up now and everybody's doing it, man,
Like you know, I think it's like it's like a
huge thing, you know, something that's big in the culture.
You know, people are loving it now. And you know, again,
you know, I took the heat for it, but you
know I'm still in the middle of the middle of
it though. You know, I have like over I put
to get maybe over like three hundred thousand pieces, man,
like it's just telling you, man, that's fun.

Speaker 2 (32:06):
That's amazing. I need to know how how long the
Mario ones took.

Speaker 6 (32:11):
Uh, the Mario one took probably, the Luigi probably took
me about two weeks. Uh, the Yoshi one took a
little bit longer, team about a month. And Mario was
actually a gift. So like I did the Luigi and
the Yoshi.

Speaker 2 (32:25):
So yeah, that's so impressive, an amazing collection.

Speaker 4 (32:30):
Appreciate that. Man.

Speaker 7 (32:32):
All Right, you guys, now it's time for our button
game section for this button game, it's going to be
our start bench cut game. So we're gonna give you
a scenario, a topic, and you're gonna have three options
and you're gonna choose whether you're gonna start this person
like you number one, pick bench, some solid backup, or

(32:53):
cut and y'all know.

Speaker 3 (32:54):
What that means.

Speaker 4 (32:56):
Oh, it's gonna be all right.

Speaker 3 (32:59):
This is this first one? Is o d this first one?

Speaker 7 (33:06):
All right, Yukon National Championship Game down to we need
one shot.

Speaker 3 (33:13):
Your options are.

Speaker 7 (33:16):
Sorry, I love you. Your options are maya more Diana
Tarassi and as but now you know you're my girl.

Speaker 2 (33:32):
That's not personal. I get it. I cut myself to.

Speaker 5 (33:34):
Who who's answering this question?

Speaker 6 (33:36):
Y'all y'all both y'all, We'll go with the one with
the most experience.

Speaker 3 (33:42):
No, no, no, both, y'all.

Speaker 5 (33:44):
This is this is not right. This is not right.
All right, this is this is who I would say
not personal.

Speaker 2 (33:52):
Remember it's not I would make the shot, but I'm
the third option in this group.

Speaker 3 (33:57):
She's got.

Speaker 1 (33:58):
This is all all wins right here. I'm going d first.
She's like the clutches, I think, and then I'm gonna
go Maya because I'm just thinking about when she made
that shot to in the playoffs.

Speaker 4 (34:13):
I was there. That was crazy crazy.

Speaker 5 (34:17):
And then I'm go asy. But I'm not cutting anybody.
I'm just putting them all.

Speaker 2 (34:23):
It's not personal. I get it.

Speaker 4 (34:26):
I would challenge that.

Speaker 6 (34:26):
I'd probably say I'm putting Maya more first because when
she was one of my favorite players to watch and
I was in a building bro it was my rookie year.
There she was playing against Indiana Fever against to me
can catches of them, and we broke. We were so
gassed up because the Fever finally made a comeback. They've
lost the first couple of games and like, look like
they they're about to do it. She hit that shot
at the top of the key. You can hear a
hind drop bro literally in the arena. It was like

(34:48):
a collective. So just watching that myself, I have to
put her like number one. Same thing as you know
what I'm saying, like you know you're there, but you're
not there yet, you know you're on your way. You
feel me like I had to pay put number two
just because of you know, performances I've seen, especially in
the Olympics or whatnot. It was like that's where I
watch her the most, and then I'm have to cut
you to until you keep proving yourself.

Speaker 5 (35:09):
Man, this is crazy.

Speaker 7 (35:12):
This is yeah, okay, next one.

Speaker 3 (35:21):
Best sense of style.

Speaker 5 (35:23):
That doesn't get easier.

Speaker 7 (35:24):
I see it, Skylar Digckens, Miles Turner, Ael rees.

Speaker 2 (35:30):
I'm going to go my start. I'm going to go
with sky I love her style, how she can mix
it up. I just I love her style. And then
my bench, I'm gonna go with Miles. I'm a little
more unfamiliar with your style, but like I'm starting to
familiarize myself with it and I like it and I
like what you're talking about. It's like none of these

(35:52):
is a cut. Like I like Angel style too, I
wouldn't cut it, so I don't know. I like her
sal too, but it's not a cut. It's still there.
But I I'm learning more about Miles. I'm a fan.

Speaker 6 (36:04):
You know you're real for that, man, I feel bad
about you know, another question, all right to piggyback. Then
I probably you know, of course I'm gonna start myself,
you know what I'm saying.

Speaker 4 (36:15):
I've been putting it off for years now.

Speaker 6 (36:17):
And then I also I've always I've always liked Scott
of digging Cent the style as well. She's one of
the people was well like I of Notre Dame, who
like really like represented herself well. Was really stepped into
that branding, you know what I'm saying. I think that
was very important, especially in that transitionary period. I think
of the women's game, you know what I mean, She's
something that everybody was following. So it was like an
on and off the court thing for her. And then
I gotta cut Angel only because you know, I like

(36:40):
how she be popping her ship. She talks, she talks
shit and she you know, she walks at she did
the VI Toy secret. You know, fashion show and everything,
like she really lives it and embodies it, you know
what I'm saying. But just for you know, you know,
for the home team, I gotta cut it for this time.

Speaker 1 (36:54):
Well, I think everybody has the same number one Sky
number one. She was just at the Grammys and like
that fit that was that, it was fire. I'm gonna
go number two with Angel because I'm I still have
to see in my mind, Myles, I have to.

Speaker 5 (37:09):
I want to understand the Western style more.

Speaker 4 (37:13):
Okay, Okay, I just can't.

Speaker 5 (37:14):
Figure out the cowboy you from.

Speaker 4 (37:16):
You're from New York. I get it. You know your
Yankees up there.

Speaker 5 (37:21):
We want to Tims and.

Speaker 3 (37:22):
The hats come on suck.

Speaker 5 (37:26):
Okay, So sorry, Myles, I'm just cut you on that one.
But I'm gonna I'm gonna go look stick ups and
pictures after this.

Speaker 3 (37:32):
And next you know, she's wearing a cowboy.

Speaker 5 (37:35):
Maybe when when I play in Dallas this year, you
can help me.

Speaker 6 (37:39):
I got that snake skin, that fight, you know, I
got the alligated.

Speaker 4 (37:42):
What you wow?

Speaker 3 (37:44):
Okay, most Guardable.

Speaker 2 (37:48):
Need a dresser though. This is to happen you too.

Speaker 3 (37:54):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (37:55):
No, we do a whole collab next year You're right.

Speaker 3 (37:57):
I love it.

Speaker 7 (37:58):
Perfect, Okay, Unguardable, We're Hones, Stewart, the Pisa, Collier, Kevin Durant.

Speaker 3 (38:04):
This is crazy to see what we're doing here.

Speaker 5 (38:06):
We're just gonna put one.

Speaker 4 (38:08):
Just a couple a couple more shots and there.

Speaker 6 (38:11):
Well, I can only speak from you know, some experience,
you know, like Katie is seven foot and can literally
do everything, you know what I mean. His release point
is so high, like, yeah, I'm seven feet tall and
I can't like you know, I can't block his jump shot,
you know what I'm saying. So I can only imagine
it be like, you know, for y'all trying to guard him.
So I'm gonna go ahead and go and put him
at number one because again, like what people don't realize

(38:31):
is how the septively quick he is even at his age.
Right now, he gets to his spots, you know what
I mean, there's a major job and find it where
he wants to be on the floor, target that and
get there. So I'll put him number one. I'm gonna
put Stewarie number two. And it's not just because you
know she's my Steam co host, just because I actually
do watch the game. Again, like you kind of spoke
to as well as earlier that like Stewart can it

(38:51):
doesn't matter who who's guarding her or her versatility is
kind of just takes over, you know what I mean,
So she can just kind of get her shot off
over anybody. It's just a very patient game. That's one
of the things that I told her, like when we
first started podcast. One thing I love about her, it's
just her poise and her patience. You know, she doesn't
she never looks rattled and sped up. I love fees game,
I really do. Especially the past couple of years. It's
been amazing watching her come up. But like I'm gonna

(39:12):
take you over her just because of what I've seen personally,
even though she is a bucket.

Speaker 2 (39:17):
Thank you all said for me. Like I think, like
Katie's just like we're cutting him because it's not even fairer,
like we're cutting him and Stu and feel like you
guys unguardable, you guys got it nothing I either you

(39:38):
can't do.

Speaker 1 (39:39):
Honestly, Like I don't know, I would like to see that,
Like I want to see, like I know Katie's got
a crazy release point, but I want to see like
where where my arm is going to be compared to
compared to that.

Speaker 6 (39:50):
Listen, I'm nine foot six when I do this. I'm
nine to six when I stand up. Like so, when
I tell you his release point is literally like, describe it, bro,
it's actually something crazy.

Speaker 7 (40:03):
The last one who's winning one on one? Brianna Stewart,
Miles Turner.

Speaker 4 (40:13):
But who's all? First thing? What's up?

Speaker 3 (40:16):
Answer first?

Speaker 5 (40:17):
I mean, I feel like if everybody doesn't say.

Speaker 4 (40:20):
Themselves, come on, but you really are you really a hooping?

Speaker 3 (40:23):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (40:23):
I'm going with me.

Speaker 3 (40:24):
I know that's right.

Speaker 6 (40:26):
Okay, Okay, let's start Herezy trying to get.

Speaker 1 (40:30):
Down, trying to don't get me, Miles, I'm a fallion.

Speaker 2 (40:35):
Play of your strength. There you go. Yeah, there's I'm
going to start with the ball and I'm gonna hit
eleven straight, period because if my father to get the ball,
I'm not so sure I'm getting it back. Actually, I'm
pretty pasitive unless like I'm gonna pray for a miss,
but I'm not getting back, so i gotta go eleven straight.
I don't know what I'm gonna do.

Speaker 3 (40:53):
You got this, just shoot from shoot The one.

Speaker 4 (40:57):
Thing I'll say about you, and I've obviously watched you player.

Speaker 6 (40:59):
You're really good action when you come off and downs
really well, especially on the right side the floor you
come over. That's sorry, yeah, the right let's I mean,
it's so serious. I watched basketball, yeah, but I've seen
you like in action.

Speaker 4 (41:11):
You feel me.

Speaker 6 (41:11):
I know you can shoot the ball to like a
forty shooter or something like that, like something crazy. But
as far as just straight ones, straight ones, how are
you gonna get around me?

Speaker 4 (41:20):
That's what I want to know.

Speaker 2 (41:23):
That's a great question. I think my first goal I
just got to move you, like I feel like you're I'm.

Speaker 4 (41:31):
Not the quickest latterly, no, I'm not the quickest ladder.

Speaker 2 (41:33):
I gotta move you a little bit, I just know,
and just enough space to get my shot off, just enough,
and it's gonna be some ting area because you know,
I'm really long. But I don't know.

Speaker 6 (41:46):
I just look like this. I'm also to seventy now,
Like I just love talk kill stuff.

Speaker 1 (41:53):
I think it's whoever whoever scores first will probably win
this game.

Speaker 5 (41:57):
No matter what.

Speaker 4 (41:58):
It makes sense, you'll keep the ball.

Speaker 5 (42:00):
Go with myself. I'm gonna post as up and I'm
I'm gonna.

Speaker 4 (42:03):
Post over me.

Speaker 6 (42:05):
Okay, word, all right, I'm gonna say you all, I'm
not going this sounds great, I'm not going okay, hold
on here about this. You only get two or three
dribbles because it's cats. You can dribble the entire time.
You know, it gets a little different.

Speaker 7 (42:19):
Oh my goodness, I don't know the rules.

Speaker 5 (42:22):
We're fit us for you West Western.

Speaker 4 (42:28):
I want all right, I want to see this.

Speaker 3 (42:31):
I would like to wrap.

Speaker 4 (42:34):
This could be a whole thing.

Speaker 5 (42:35):
Man.

Speaker 4 (42:35):
It's the N B A W A bit crossing.

Speaker 3 (42:37):
H iHeart and unanimous.

Speaker 5 (42:39):
Set it up. Time for one more breaks. When we
come back.

Speaker 1 (42:43):
Instead of our parent corner, I would be giving life
advice to as and of course we have our worth
the plugs of the week.

Speaker 7 (42:54):
Welcome back to our special crossover episode of Game Recognized
Game and but around and find out on.

Speaker 5 (43:01):
Game Recognized Game.

Speaker 1 (43:02):
We do a couple of things at the end of
my show, and one of them is called Stewie's Parents Corner,
where I give parenting advice to Miles and anyone who cares.
But today I'm gonna give life advice to Azy. Also first,
I'm going to give parenting advice because my son Teo
is obsessed with hot wheels, And did you guys know
that underneath the hot wheels, like the upside down part
of the car, it tells their name, like the name

(43:24):
of the car. So now he's bringing every single car
to me and said, what's his name? What's his name?

Speaker 5 (43:29):
What's his name?

Speaker 1 (43:29):
McLaren, this, some other Acura, some other constantly named the car.

Speaker 5 (43:35):
So because anybody's wondering, they're underneath.

Speaker 4 (43:37):
I've had hot wheels my whole life. I didn't know that.

Speaker 2 (43:39):
I didn't know that.

Speaker 1 (43:39):
I see look at the underneath, all right. My life
advice would be to make sure that you have people
around you to help you stay organized, because while there
are moments where you can do lego, there is also
moments where you are so busy all day every day.
So making sure that you have that balance of like
you trying to things and build your brand and like

(44:01):
be in the gym and all this stuff, but you
have to have somebody that's also there and looking looking
out for your best interest on when you have to
say no. And that's something that I've learned more recently,
is like saying no to things even though I want
to do them or I'm super interested in them. I
just like, can't stretch myself too thin, and you don't
want to stretch yourself tooth in so that you can't
be your best when you're supposed to be. And that's

(44:21):
literally on the basketball court. So like find a healthy
balance because in college it's kind of created for you.
You know, you go to school, your study hall, you
have practice whatever like, and then you have chill time.
In the pros, it's like nobody's making nobody's looking out
for your chill time except you and the people around you.
So like lock that in all the time.

Speaker 4 (44:42):
Protect your peace. Man, that's so real.

Speaker 2 (44:44):
I've got some good I gotta take notes after this
one of all the advice I've got you.

Speaker 3 (44:51):
Back.

Speaker 4 (44:51):
Yeah, man.

Speaker 6 (44:52):
So our other closest segment is called now to Stewie,
where I teach you something about what I'm into. You know,
the past, the lego a couple of episodes ago we
did so my yoga, bread techniques and whatnot. You know,
I just a mot of renaissance, man, I'm into a
lot of different things. So I got a new one
for y'all today. Look around all right, class, everybody know
what this is?

Speaker 4 (45:15):
You know how to do that? I can. It's something
that over the pandemic.

Speaker 6 (45:20):
It's one of those times where I just got really bored,
just wanted to challenge myself with something, and I just
kind of figured out the algorithm this thing. It's pretty cool.
So it's a six sided thing, right. I got a
little party trick for y'all. It would take me a
long ass time to figure to teach you how to
do this on the camera. But anytime you have a
salt Rubers cube around, you want to find the white side,

(45:40):
you put it face down right, no offense to it.
You find the white side, you put it safe, face down,
and then you could pick any color after that and
have it facing you right. So the biggest algorithm here,
it's up left, down right. I know that sounds crazy,
so we're gonna go slow up left, down right right.

(46:03):
It's kind of hard to show you on the camera,
but just remember that up left right cool. So if
you take it, you face it with your right hand.
You're gonna go up left, down right, all right. Now,
the party trick is you're gonna show it to the
to the crowd or what. Now it looks crazy, it
looks like it's all messed up. So you remember the
side that you're on, and you do that six times

(46:24):
because it's a six sided figure. So you go up left,
down right, up left, down right, up left, down right,
up left, down right, up left, down right, up and
now it's back soft.

Speaker 2 (46:42):
Write this down.

Speaker 6 (46:44):
So again the party trick, you're gonna do yourself. Find
the color that you want, find the face that you want, right,
So I'm gonna go blue. It's my favorite color. So
I'm gonna go up left, down right. You don't want
the crowd to see that it solved, right, so before
you show everybody's show them that it's like messed up
up left, down right.

Speaker 4 (47:02):
It's like, ook, hey, but I can solve.

Speaker 6 (47:03):
A rescue blah blah blah blah, up left, up left,
down right, up left, down right, up left, down right,
up left, down right, and it's back to normal.

Speaker 5 (47:12):
Okay, So you know how to solve a ruby scube
or you're just not conent.

Speaker 4 (47:17):
No trying trying.

Speaker 6 (47:22):
I can absolutely solve a ruberscue, like I said, I
can do it like under like two minutes.

Speaker 5 (47:26):
Trick does not work for solving it. That's just for like.

Speaker 6 (47:30):
It's just when it's messed up again. You can trick
people and make them like into thinking you can now
to solve like a rublescrim or something like that. Yeah,
so again you show it to them all messed up
and not solved. It's like, look, I bet I can
solve this in under thirty seconds, like now you crazy
or whatever? So you get it, uplift down right up left,
down right, up left. We're not to cut that part shelf.

(47:56):
That's not new to it, man, you know, it's fun.
I think Ruberscube is something I've always was in too.
When I was over the pandemic whatnot. I tried my
entire life as a kid to figure it out, and
then as I got into it, I just figured out
over time.

Speaker 3 (48:07):
Thank you.

Speaker 2 (48:08):
That's great, Yeah, thank you. I'm gonna use that later tonight.

Speaker 7 (48:10):
That's I'm left down right right all right, you guys,
this is now a segment that we do on but
around to find out called what the fud of the Week?
So what the fun of the week is something that
happened this week that made you say what the fun?

Speaker 3 (48:28):
We Since you guys are you know cross upper episode.
We'll let you guys go first and then I'll see
mine last.

Speaker 6 (48:35):
All right, man, So my I what the fud of
the week? Sure, I'm not sure everybody watched the dunk contest.

Speaker 3 (48:43):
Silence, I was there.

Speaker 4 (48:52):
I didn't watch it, so just over there.

Speaker 6 (48:54):
But anyways, all right, yeah, man, So I what the
fud of the week is rookie Jace richards And man,
this is a tough one to watch because you know
his pops, Jason Richardson is one of the best in
game dunkers, best dunk contests participants of all time.

Speaker 4 (49:08):
And I'm sure you guys may have saw the viral.

Speaker 6 (49:10):
Clip where he went up and it looked like went
from the side of the backboard and tried to like
throw it off through the three sixty dunk and his
arm got stuck and he came down and smacked his
head on the floor. And as a rookie man in
your first like all star environment, a lot of pressure
with your pops being you know who he is, I
bet that was just a tough feeling to recover from.

(49:30):
You know, he ended up, you know, being okay and
finished the dunk contest, but like, I'm sure, just like
it was just a gut wrenchy reaction. I'm like, oh,
you know what I mean, Oh, that was just a
tough one for me person to watch.

Speaker 4 (49:41):
That's that's my what the fud of the week.

Speaker 5 (49:44):
Yeah, I didn't know that, son, I did see that.

Speaker 4 (49:50):
Though, Yeah, that's tough.

Speaker 1 (49:53):
My what the fun moment of the week was when
I lost in one on one? Like that was a
moment where I could be like what the fud? But
also like I so you get these timeouts in one
on one. So I took a time out because I
was just getting like bodied, and I sat on the

(50:14):
bench or whatever, and my kids have no idea what's happening, right,
So I have like Ruby's trying to give me my
jacket that I told her to hold. This is in
my thirty seconds as I'm trying to gather my life
to win one on one, and Taym's just like sitting
right in between my legs, and I'm like, literally, I'm
like what the fud?

Speaker 4 (50:31):
Right now?

Speaker 5 (50:33):
That could be my moment my lost?

Speaker 2 (50:36):
Like do your kids know how good to their moms are?
That's it? Like I know they like they're not there yet.
But when you were talking about how the Paraslympics was
your favorite because like your family was their kids where
there they got to witness that. It's like they don't
realize like they're watching like they're watching greatness, watch history.

Speaker 1 (50:54):
No, like Ruby, Ruby understands a little bit because she
she she just has been around a little it more.

Speaker 5 (51:01):
But she like is always quick to put me in check.

Speaker 1 (51:05):
She's like, Mommy, I made seven baskets in a row
on the mini hoop and you missed?

Speaker 2 (51:14):
All right, my, what the fud? I'm also gonna go
unraveled with the fud? Was the championship game? I guess
I forgot that the championship or the finals game is
the best of three, and I boy that watching that,
I I was tired for them. They were gad they yeah,

(51:35):
they were given it. They're all and also like the
first game being seven zero and then I was just impressed.
I was impressed by it. They were competing so hard
and it was crazy, but it was so much fun
to watch. Literally, when they were both like dying, I
was like, are they just gonna split it?

Speaker 5 (51:53):
Are they like, let's split it?

Speaker 2 (51:54):
Like you think that you can sit apartment? Like maybe
like if I let you score here?

Speaker 5 (51:58):
Those right?

Speaker 3 (52:02):
Okay?

Speaker 1 (52:02):
My?

Speaker 3 (52:03):
What the fuck of the week.

Speaker 6 (52:05):
Is?

Speaker 7 (52:06):
I got to meet Michelle Obama at as bad as
I had the opportunity to link up with her through
a brand, and it was like me and four other people,
and we sat down and talked for like an hour,
and that changed my life. I'm a different person now,
new outlook on life. She's very like she just gives

(52:30):
Auntie Grandma like family vibes, and she looks amazing for
her to be in her sixties.

Speaker 3 (52:38):
And she'll tell you, you know, she's like, I'm sixties. I'm
like I played tennis. I just love to be able
to sit down and chat with her.

Speaker 7 (52:47):
What I left with from that conversation was like quite
a lot, But if I would sum it up, I
learned how much she cares and still cares even after
being out of the like after not being the first
lady anymore, how important it is nutrition is to her,
Like I was part of that generation where our cafetier
got rid of like the snacks and the vending machines

(53:08):
that brought in all the healthy.

Speaker 3 (53:09):
Food during that time.

Speaker 7 (53:11):
I let her know I was like, didn't love it
holding up the salary, like where's my gummy bears? But
in hindsight, I'm like it makes a difference, Like healthy
lifestyle learning from young so you can be better as
an adult.

Speaker 3 (53:25):
So that's mine with the fun of the week.

Speaker 2 (53:27):
That's insane. That's great.

Speaker 7 (53:28):
Yeah, well, thank you guys so much for coming on.

Speaker 2 (53:35):
Yeah, thank you guys. This was so fun.

Speaker 4 (53:37):
I had a great time. Man, new perspective.

Speaker 6 (53:39):
Man, you got a new fan of me and man
have following you from you know for a minute now,
but you know now that we have the personal connection.

Speaker 4 (53:45):
This is dope, man. So I wish you the best
of luck, the best of your game that you had
to hit period.

Speaker 5 (53:49):
Thank you guys for having us cool crossover.
