Speaker 2 (00:03):
Am I in a Leftovers intern John and your morning
show Leftovers and Happy Friday.
Speaker 3 (00:08):
Welcome to the Leftover Podcast. Look at us. We are
doing it.
Speaker 1 (00:13):
We're doing it.
Speaker 3 (00:14):
We're doing something to put that microphone there.
Speaker 4 (00:20):
It also comes at a very weird angle that I
don't think I get, you know, talked about enough with this.
Speaker 1 (00:27):
I just said, that's so backwards.
Speaker 4 (00:29):
It's just it literally is an like usually every microphone
I've ever worked with, it's always been like a little
thing right here.
Speaker 1 (00:35):
Yes, so if I can do it with my hand,
yes here, it's like.
Speaker 3 (00:39):
Yes, I agree, it's weird. Yes, it's the whole anyway, Well,
here we are.
Speaker 4 (00:43):
We're getting a new one for you. Well not for you,
but there's one that's going to connect here.
Speaker 5 (00:48):
Is there.
Speaker 6 (00:49):
Yeah, that's exciting for you for you.
Speaker 1 (00:55):
Okay, yeah, it's like a tether ball.
Speaker 3 (01:01):
My old boss, Dave Ryan, he bought Bob Barker's prices
right microphone like the old one, and we did THEE
did the show on it.
Speaker 5 (01:08):
There.
Speaker 3 (01:09):
We always stood in the circle and did the show.
I think he spent like twenty grand on it. That's insane,
which like if you have the cash. That's a pretty
cool piece of memorabilia for every sick school day.
Speaker 1 (01:19):
I guess, So where is it now?
Speaker 4 (01:20):
Just sitting on the housing calm and ask? Okay, cold on,
he's working right now.
Speaker 5 (01:25):
He is working.
Speaker 3 (01:26):
Give my answer.
Speaker 1 (01:26):
Okay, we'll almost keep talking. Agency.
Speaker 4 (01:29):
Yeah, he's like John, Yeah, what No, he's probably live
right now now, is there alb? All right?
Speaker 1 (01:35):
Hold on, let me pick up for my intern from
twenty eight years ago.
Speaker 3 (01:38):
He's on the air.
Speaker 7 (01:39):
He's gonna ad you think you would answer on air?
Speaker 3 (01:41):
Real famous Kney.
Speaker 1 (01:42):
I hope he answers. He's so nice.
Speaker 3 (01:44):
He might be on vacage and actually, hey dude, hey
you're on our podcast. Say hi, Dave ran everybody, But
that's that's how Dave says.
Speaker 5 (01:55):
Hi.
Speaker 3 (01:56):
Hey dude, Hey Dave. We're talking about Bob Barker's microphone
that you bought back in the day. Where is it now?
Speaker 2 (02:03):
It is on the wall of my office. You want
to buy it?
Speaker 3 (02:08):
I did not. I said, Okay, how much do you
how much you like? Ten dollars you think or what's
the okay?
Speaker 2 (02:13):
I bought it for nineteen thousand dollars. Yeah, and I
took it to Pond Stars and they offered me two
thousand dollars.
Speaker 5 (02:20):
I said, no, doing it for two thousand dollars.
Speaker 2 (02:23):
But of course it was Chumley and Corey and they
weren't really bold enough to appreciate it.
Speaker 5 (02:28):
Yeah, so they were kind of like, nobody cares about this.
Speaker 2 (02:31):
And and the worst part, guys, wasn't even that I
didn't sell it.
Speaker 5 (02:36):
It was that I didn't get on Pond stars.
Speaker 3 (02:38):
They never lost, they're lost same. All right, Well, appreciate you,
douche have about doubt. He's a great That was like, uh, yeah, so,
I mean in terms of what we do for a living,
and am I press? That got well worth of nineteen
thousand dollars, But like, could you imagine that's why Ponds
(03:00):
going to that show? But two grand for this? That's
how much the mic probably costs if it wasn't used.
Speaker 4 (03:04):
I was gonna say, like the microphone itself is probably
just two thousand dollars.
Speaker 3 (03:07):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (03:07):
So anyway, Bob Barker's still alive. Where do you die?
Speaker 4 (03:10):
No?
Speaker 3 (03:11):
He he passed.
Speaker 7 (03:13):
Well, I wonder if it's worth more.
Speaker 4 (03:15):
It's probably worth more now, I feel like it should
be worth more than you ran in general.
Speaker 1 (03:19):
Anyway, Yeah, he hass in August of twenty twenty three.
Speaker 3 (03:22):
Yeah, I almost wonder too, with like Pond Stars like
the show, I would imagine, and I don't know it's
for sure that maybe the network gives them money for
some of the stuff. Maybe the network's like, we're not
going to do this, so don't do anything.
Speaker 4 (03:31):
I used to watch it all the time with my
dad back in the day, back in the day, day back,
and then day day. Any Way, I shallby sauce your
week you planned.
Speaker 5 (03:37):
I am.
Speaker 4 (03:37):
I'm supposed to be actually at a bachelrette party in
San Diego, but I have been feeling under the weather
and I've been sick non stop this year and I
just want to feel better. So I'm not going unfortunately,
So that's really sad.
Speaker 1 (03:48):
But on the flip side, where he going and said,
I'm going to hide, so short anyway, Sunday going on Sunday,
I'm not going out the rest of the weekend.
Speaker 3 (03:55):
It's exciting.
Speaker 4 (03:56):
I'm going to go to hide on a Sunday afternoon,
and you know, probably I'll probably go to like watch
the Eweles game and then you know stay obviously for
the Ravens and eat and my friends are going and
it's gonna be really fun.
Speaker 3 (04:09):
I'm really excited over under how many times you get
angry at somebody Sunday in reference to the game, either
saying how things are going well bad or in different I.
Speaker 4 (04:17):
Know that I'm gonna tell Ryan to shut up. I
love Ryan, but he is like, like I have this
friend brooked it. We go to Braves games and she'd
just be like, oh, like, can't enjoying this. I'm like,
why are we throwing that negativity out there?
Speaker 1 (04:29):
We're watching the game. I don't know. That's just like
how I am.
Speaker 4 (04:32):
I'm like, A, we're doing so great even if we're
not until like there there's one game this year that
I was like.
Speaker 1 (04:38):
I just turned it off. I was like, yeah, I'm
just going to go.
Speaker 3 (04:40):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (04:42):
I think I need to be surrounded by good vibes.
Speaker 4 (04:43):
I like, like I said earlier on the show, like
when I wake up on a Ravens game day, it's
not like I'm playing. I'm not over over here like oh,
we did so good this year. It's like I don't.
I'm not out there doing anything. I'm just a fan.
Speaker 3 (04:55):
Is that Ronnie character in I'm like, oh, like, well.
Speaker 4 (04:58):
Was anyway, I wake up and I'm like, vibes, what
are they? Like When we lost the playoff game last
year against Kansas City, I woke up and I I
forgotten my Ravens jersey, and then uh Kate said she
was gonna bring me one. When we met up, she
forgot to bring it, and then I had no Ravens
gear on, and I was like, everything today is just
so chaotic, like everything that whole weekend had felt just
(05:20):
like so off that I sold my tickets already.
Speaker 1 (05:22):
Yeah, I don't know. I didn't go.
Speaker 4 (05:24):
So I'm excited. I think it's gonna be such a
good game. The whole season has been so good for
the Ravens. I know it's been like, you know, everybody's like,
oh so back and forth with like Justin Tucker and everything.
Speaker 1 (05:34):
But I think it was a really good season.
Speaker 4 (05:35):
It was a very good learning season for the Ravens,
and Lamar has been killing it.
Speaker 1 (05:39):
I love my team. I just I'm so excited.
Speaker 8 (05:42):
I'm so excited of football. You all thought I forgot
talked about.
Speaker 3 (05:54):
Does that mean I get two days of someone's.
Speaker 1 (05:58):
Because he never used yours?
Speaker 4 (05:59):
Last game a season ended, I think it ended the
week of jingle Ball.
Speaker 3 (06:06):
I don't think I changed the last year.
Speaker 1 (06:09):
Yeah, Rose always, the.
Speaker 3 (06:11):
Committee will take any consideration.
Speaker 1 (06:12):
Okay, I'm down for you. You to have two days.
Speaker 3 (06:15):
I taking on your Instagram for mini golf sauce last year.
Speaker 1 (06:18):
Okay, Well, I think you could set a limit on
how long.
Speaker 3 (06:22):
You get sauce.
Speaker 4 (06:25):
I think that we should have Hoodie do his first,
because he's behind the ear.
Speaker 3 (06:30):
We should take up for sauces then, why dude, No, I'm.
Speaker 4 (06:37):
Sorry, we should do yours because you have more followers.
Speaker 1 (06:41):
Do you have more to lose?
Speaker 6 (06:42):
Yeah, a lot more followers.
Speaker 3 (06:48):
What you said about this weekend.
Speaker 7 (06:49):
So Clint's brother has been in town for probably a
little over a week at this point, and we are
going to spend some of our weekend with him. Very
excited that Charlie and George get some uncle time. We're
gonna go to the Sign Center. It's gonna be super fun.
Speaker 1 (07:02):
And then we have like a.
Speaker 7 (07:04):
Three year old little birthday party that we're going to
on Sunday, and I don't know how it's gonna go.
So it's gonna it's gonna be fine. It's not like
like a kid's gym place. So I'm a little like
it'll be nice to get the Energy album. Also right
in the middle of nap time, so who knows how
(07:24):
that day is gonna go. So but yeah, looking forward
to just like having a fun weekend. I feel like
January has been flying by and that never happens.
Speaker 3 (07:33):
Yeah.
Speaker 7 (07:34):
Yeah, And then I still have to figure out what
I'm wearing to Clint's brother's wedding, which is one week
from today.
Speaker 3 (07:41):
Yeah, I need to.
Speaker 7 (07:42):
Go shopping or something, so maybe this week and I'll
figure that out.
Speaker 3 (07:46):
Going to the Caps game on Saturday.
Speaker 6 (07:50):
For a shot ski always okay, we'll coordinate. Mora's cousin's
kid is going to do mites on ice. Kids play hockey.
Speaker 3 (08:01):
That's so great. I love that.
Speaker 1 (08:03):
That's my favorite.
Speaker 6 (08:04):
So we got free tickets so we get to go
to that. Apparently they like get to do a practice
beforehand to make sure.
Speaker 3 (08:09):
Like that is so sweet. I'm so excited for that.
Speaker 6 (08:12):
And yeah, because i haven't been in a Caps game
this season all so I'm just excited to see ov.
Speaker 3 (08:17):
Yeah, little kids skating. It's like watching baby drafts walk
the first it's the most adorable thing, and then they
score in the whole Ranchers.
Speaker 1 (08:25):
It's just so sweet. It's my favorite.
Speaker 6 (08:27):
But it's weird now because now, like I know one
of the nights, so I'm like, please let that let
him be the other.
Speaker 3 (08:32):
In the game.
Speaker 5 (08:33):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (08:34):
I like when they interviewed them after and like the
kids obviously want to go see their parents and stuff,
and they're like asking questions like.
Speaker 1 (08:39):
I don't know my dad brought me here.
Speaker 3 (08:43):
Hockey interviews are the same. It's a child or adults,
like what do you guys got to do?
Speaker 4 (08:47):
Shot the puck on the net, I saw the goalie
and I hit the feel good. It's so cutit you
like about hockey skating fun my friends?
Speaker 1 (09:00):
Yeah, no, it's so sweet. I love it.
Speaker 3 (09:03):
Survive that's awesome. Well, first of all, follow us everywhere

so kind fun. He's a he's a Penguins guy though.

the game, very cool. So at Wymt's Radio everywhere. We'll
