Speaker 1 (00:07):
It's happening with Snooki and Joey. Happy Wednesday.
Speaker 2 (00:18):
While at Wednesday, it's Whippin' About Wednesdays. Snooki looking ravishing today.
Speaker 1 (00:22):
Welcome to the show, bitches. I have had, I have
had a couple days. The kids are finally back at school. Like,
thank fucking God.
Speaker 2 (00:32):
Oh, they started already?
Speaker 1 (00:33):
Yeah. Yes, I love them so much. They start today.
I love them so much. But just, like, I need, like,
me time to, like, get stuff done. By the way,
it's September 1st. There's a lot going on. I haven't
decorated for fall because the kids have been home and
I got surgery and cancer and everything. So I'm just
excited to, like, have my time. So the kids are
(00:53):
in school. Angelo's in first grade. Giovanna started middle school.
And Lorenzo's in eighth grade. So... I can't believe my
kids are this old. You should really put him in school.
Speaker 2 (01:06):
I'm trying to. We have to get into a private school.
Speaker 1 (01:09):
Yeah, that'd be so good for him.
Speaker 2 (01:11):
I had no idea they started this early. I thought
school started the second week of September.
Speaker 1 (01:16):
It usually does. Last year we started, I feel like,
the second week. No, when did we start? Maybe even
close to the third week. But that's because they were
doing construction. But a lot of kids are starting in August,
like the last weekend of August. No, thank you. So
it's honestly only a couple of days because it's Labor
Day weekend this weekend. And then Monday, they're off. So
(01:40):
it's like, why are we going for just two days?
Just start next week.
Speaker 2 (01:43):
That's so silly because they probably want to get out early.
Speaker 1 (01:45):
I mean, I'm not complaining because then I have the
days to myself and I can get stuff done. So
the kids are back in school. It's September 1st. Happy fall.
Let's go.
Speaker 2 (01:56):
I can't believe it's fall because it's still hotter than
a witch's titty out.
Speaker 1 (02:00):
And.
Speaker 2 (02:01):
My air conditioning is still pumping. I don't know.
Speaker 1 (02:03):
Did you walk peaky this morning? Because I feel like
there was a breeze. There was a coolness breeze. Did
you not feel it?
Speaker 2 (02:12):
No, I didn't feel that. I normally do. I do
like a crisp breeze in the morning, but I didn't
feel it this morning. But yeah, I can't wait. These
air conditions have been running for four months straight. They
have never been turned off. These poor things need to
take a breather. I can't wait.
Speaker 1 (02:27):
I can't wait like when we're sleeping and when you
crack the window open and it's like a chill crisp breeze.
Speaker 2 (02:35):
Oh my God. All through that.
Speaker 1 (02:38):
And I can't wait for the leaves to fall and
the leaves to change colors. We have to book our
freaking trip.
Speaker 2 (02:46):
Our ladies trip.
Speaker 3 (02:48):
Our fall trip.
Speaker 1 (02:49):
We have so many things to do.
Speaker 2 (02:50):
I know. Fall trip. I think we should go to Vermont.
That seems like the vibe.
Speaker 1 (02:55):
But like No one has money to spend. Like we're
trying to save. So instead of doing a long drive
or like a plane, we should say kind of local. Okay.
Speaker 2 (03:08):
True that. So we'll stay in New York. Well, how
was Lorenzo's birthday party? I know this is your first
drink you had over the weekend. I totally forgot about it.
I saw the wine. You had white wine. You chose
a white wine.
Speaker 1 (03:24):
So my first drink was Saturday and I ended up
having Josh's Sauvignon Blanc. I only wanted to have like
a glass because I like wasn't feeling it yet. You know,
once you take like time off of drinking, it's just
like you don't like want it. And then when you
try it, you're like, oh. So it was like a
shock to the system. And everyone's like, didn't you not
(03:48):
drink when you were pregnant for the first few times? Yes,
obviously you fucking idiots.
Speaker 2 (03:51):
Kind of.
Speaker 1 (03:52):
But like, this is like, this was voluntary, right? Is
that the word? This was of my own. This is
like what I wanted to do free will. So I
only had two glasses, but like I felt, I felt
turned up. I did. I was like, oh my God.
Speaker 2 (04:07):
Did you feel like you got tipsier than normal? Because normally. Yes. Yeah. Yeah.
Speaker 1 (04:13):
I feel like your body has like a low tolerance.
And usually my high, I have a high tolerance because
I love drinking wine. But like, I wasn't even like
half the glass down. And I felt a little tipsy. So,
I was like, ooh. So, I only had two glasses.
Went to bed. Because the next day was Lorenzo's party. So, like,
I had to get up. I had to get the
cake and balloons and all the things. So, for Lorenzo's party,
(04:33):
I ended up drinking the Spikegates.
Speaker 2 (04:35):
What's that?
Speaker 1 (04:36):
Because it's the vodka Gatorades in the cans.
Speaker 2 (04:40):
Is it really called Spikegate?
Speaker 1 (04:41):
Yeah, it's called Spikegate. It's my new favorite thing. They
already know it. I, like, follow them. They already sent
me some.
Speaker 2 (04:47):
So.
Speaker 1 (04:48):
I was doing the spike aids, and that's like a
day drink, and everyone started coming over at like 1 o'clock.
So I had spike aids, and it was very nice.
So was I hungover Sunday? Did my belly hurt? Was
I craving pizza? Yes to all the above, but it
was worth it.
Speaker 2 (05:05):
Yeah, I drank this weekend as well. I drank on Sunday,
and I'm still feeling the effects today.
Speaker 1 (05:10):
I am so proud of you. Billy texted me.
Speaker 3 (05:14):
What did he say?
Speaker 1 (05:15):
He sent me a picture of you smoking with a crackhead.
Speaker 2 (05:19):
Where was I?
Speaker 1 (05:22):
I'll send you the picture.
Speaker 2 (05:23):
Oh, yes, yes, I remember her. I remember her. Oh, yeah,
I was in the streets.
Speaker 1 (05:28):
He was like, Joey is smoking with a crackhead. And
I'm like, oh, my God, is he drinking? And he
was like, yes, he's having so much fun. And I'm like,
thank God.
Speaker 2 (05:36):
Yes, so that night, yeah, I went on a boat,
this little boat party thing. And then, but yeah, afterwards
I was turnt up because I was drinking a rosé
on the boat. And then we're sitting on, we went
to some bar afterward and I was outside smoking. Some
crackhead came up to me and we just became fast friends.
She was like 60 years old.
Speaker 1 (05:56):
I feel like you're always fine with the crackheads.
Speaker 2 (05:59):
Yeah, I love a crackhead. So she asked me for
a cigarette. So I was like, yes, bitch. So I said,
do you need a light? So she started to let
us have a cigarette. And then we just started chatting,
talking about all the things.
Speaker 1 (06:09):
About what, though?
Speaker 2 (06:10):
I don't even remember. Just life and what was going
on that day. And we just hit the ground running.
We became fast friends. And I think we had like
two cigarettes together. I think I gave her a sip
of my drink. And we just all, we just had
a kiki. I forgot her name, though. But she was
this middle-aged woman. And I totally forgot I met her. But, yeah,
(06:31):
and I'm still feeling the effects today because, you know,
I don't really have a low tolerance. But, like, I
do have– wait, do I? I do– I don't know
what I have. But I'm hungover. I still have a
migraine three days later. Wait, so what did you drink?
I drank all the rosé. And then when I got
to the bar, we drank the U.S. Open drinks, the
(06:51):
vodka lemonade, the Grey Goose lemonade and raspberry liqueur. So
it's like a raspberry lemonade drink.
Speaker 1 (06:57):
Oh, that looked delicious, by the way.
Speaker 2 (06:58):
Oh, it's so good. Is it with the melon balls
in it? So that's because we went to the U.S.
Open as well.
Speaker 1 (07:03):
Wait, how are you getting to all these places? You
went to the U.S. Open and then you're on a yacht. Like,
how did you do this? Is this an influencer scam?
Speaker 2 (07:12):
No, well, kind of. The U.S. Open is free. Anyone
can go to that. It's like everyone thinks it's like
some big fancy thing. You don't have to be invited
to it. There's like a fan week thing. So we
just got invited. We just signed up for this thing
and then we just went to it. We just, you know,
we just went. Um, I mean, we had to pay
for it. We had to pay for all our drinks
and stuff. So it wasn't like an influencer trip. So
I wasn't like, you know, getting all free shit. Um,
(07:35):
but yeah, you can go for fan week. And then, um,
for the boat, it was, that wasn't influencer scam. It's
this yacht company called, um, it's called the siren boat.
It's like a full yacht and you can like, you
can rent it out. And, um, I think you can
even sleep over on it. There's like beds and stuff.
Speaker 1 (07:50):
Wait. So who are the people that you were on
the boat with?
Speaker 2 (07:53):
Um, it's Billy's, uh, Billy's family friend and like they're
like influencer friends.
Speaker 1 (08:01):
Oh.
Speaker 2 (08:01):
So yeah, just some meetup people. They do like, you know,
like travel content and stuff. So we went and hung
out with them. It was a lovely time. I do
have to say, I'd like to be back on the water.
You know, I'm very nautical. So I do like to
be one with the sea. I don't like to get
in the sea. But we were getting drunk and I
wanted to jump off the boat and go swimming. Like
I was like, I was ready to take off my
(08:22):
boat chute, my loafers and get in.
Speaker 1 (08:25):
I love that for you. I'm really glad that you
had a nice time. Yeah.
Speaker 2 (08:29):
But then it all ended up in disarray because I'm
home right now and I'm picking fights with people and,
you know, you live and you learn.
Speaker 1 (08:39):
Well, I was hungover Sunday. Was it Sunday? Yeah, I
drove home Sunday and I got Burger King for lunch. Oh.
I didn't eat all of it because I was like
feeling like a little nauseous to be honest. So I
was like picking the Burger King. I got my chicken
sandwich and fries.
Speaker 2 (08:55):
The long one?
Speaker 1 (08:57):
Yeah, the classic chicken sandwich, which is my fucking favorite.
Speaker 2 (09:03):
It's so good. It's literally like vending machine food, but
it's so delicious and tasty. It's literally the best thing. Yeah,
it's all plastic, but it's so good.
Speaker 1 (09:11):
I don't care. It's delicious. So I ended up doing that.
And then for dinner, I got a cauliflower pepperoni pizza.
Speaker 2 (09:18):
Oh, yes.
Speaker 1 (09:19):
And then I got pepperoni rolls. So it was like...
mozzarella and pepperoni. Yeah, in like a nice little roll.
We got mozzarella sticks. So I was like picking everything.
Speaker 2 (09:31):
Where did you get all this from?
Speaker 1 (09:32):
I got a slice of that. I got it from
I think Godfather's.
Speaker 2 (09:37):
Wait, hold on. So Godfather has cauliflower crust pizza?
Speaker 1 (09:48):
Yeah. They have cauliflower. Yeah, so I got the Cause
I want it to be like somewhat like healthy, but
like whatever. But like, I was just taking like mouse
bites out of everything because I was so nauseous that
I couldn't eat. but like I wanted to eat. So yeah,
that's what I did. And then I got Ben and
Jerry's brownie ice cream.
Speaker 2 (10:07):
Oh my God.
Speaker 1 (10:08):
To top it off.
Speaker 2 (10:10):
Oh my God. That sounds like the perfect fucking day.
I as well had cauliflower crust pizza and, It is
my favorite thing. I usually get it from Marinara Pizza.
That's the best one in the city. It's a place
called Marinara Pizza. And they have the most insane cauliflower
crust pizza. And I get this chopped salad with it.
Every salad they have is unbelievable. I like the Greek
salad or the Italian salad. But then you dip your...
(10:32):
I use my cauliflower crust pizza as a fork. So
I'll take the salad and dress it. And I scoop
up all the salad and I eat it like that.
So I use.
Speaker 1 (10:41):
Like a wrap.
Speaker 2 (10:43):
Kind of. So I'm using my pizza slice as... as
the vessel to hold the salad. And it's just the best.
It's an orgasmic experience. But I didn't have that this
week because I saw that, saw that they have cauliflower
crust pizzas in the stores. So I was like, I
wonder how this is. Oh my God, yes. They look
like the exact same sides. I've never tried them. I
have a new niche air fryer they sent me. So
(11:04):
like I have this, I think that fits pizzas now.
So I was like, I should just try this. So
I tried, I'm between two brands right now. The first
one I tried is the cauliflower crust. which was very,
it's very good. And the great thing is it's only
800 calories for the whole pizza, but I usually only
eat four of them. I only usually eat half of it,
(11:26):
so it's only like 400 calories. But then I found
a new one at the Trader Joe's. Trader Joe's has one.
I haven't tried this shit. It's in the freezer. This
one is only 780 calories for the whole pizza. Yes.
But that sounds like it's a lot of calories, but honestly,
if you eat one slice of pizza, that's 800 calories.
Like one slice of pizza from like a fucking, a
big like New York City, like, pizzeria so it's like
(11:48):
i don't feel so so gluttonous but i do it's
like the most satisfying thing for me it is not
because i it is because the calories are lower but
i just prefer because it's thin and crispy and it
just has great flavor it's just cauliflower crust it's not
it sounds like it's really healthy and like oh why
would i want vegetables but it's not it's if you
haven't tried it yet try it i would start with
the cauliflower because i have not tried the yes i've
(12:11):
not tried the trader joe's yet but i'm sure i
can't imagine the trade shows it's gonna be bad um
I think it tastes better. Okay, the Trader Joe's is better?
Speaker 1 (12:19):
No, I'm saying in general. The cauliflower pizza tastes better
than regular pizza to me. I just feel like there's
a better taste to it and it's just yummy. And
you don't feel like you're being such a fat ass.
Speaker 2 (12:32):
It doesn't feel so heavy. But it's very satisfying. And
it probably has fiber in it. I don't know. But yeah,
so I think I had that. And then I believe
that Billy and I ordered Chinese food. Um, which I still,
you know, I still have not found my go-to. I've
been over here in this place, uh, over down here
(12:52):
for three years. I still have not found my perfect
Chinese restaurant. Like, you know, when you, you find your,
find your one, like, it's like the best thing ever.
And then the debts that there's no other option. It's like, okay,
this is what we're getting. We're getting, we're getting our
favorite thing. What do we get from here? We get
this is, and this is, I, I've ordered probably from
like 13 to 20 different places over the years. And
I still have not found one that fucking slaps every time.
(13:14):
It's always inconsistent. I agree. You can never find. Growing
up at home, we had Great Wall. That was the
best one around in our area. Every time, we're going
to get Great Wall, Great Wall. It was always Great Wall.
You knew what you were going to get, and it
was always the exact same and perfect every time. Here
in the city, it's like I can't find. So if
you have a New York City Chinese food delivery takeout place,
(13:40):
that you swear by, sound off in the chat or
just text me because I need it. Because sometimes one
thing will be good and then the other thing will
be shitty. I like, and this is very taboo because
I'm a food influencer, but I like really cheap, trashy
wonton soup. I want the wonton soup to be so thick,
(14:00):
the wonton wrappers to be so thick and chewy that
I almost gag on it. I don't like those thin, melted,
paper-thin wrappers like wet ball sack looking fucking dumplings. I
want like a big triangle. You're not talking about where
there's like thick, chewy wontons, wonton soup.
Speaker 1 (14:20):
Yeah, I don't really like, I don't, I sometimes like
it and then I don't.
Speaker 2 (14:24):
So I love it.
Speaker 1 (14:24):
I know what you're talking about.
Speaker 2 (14:25):
I like, so that's what I like for there. But
then any place that has that is going to have
really disgusting, shitty, cheap food. So I can't get my
trashy wonton soup because every other fancy place like hand
rolls it paper thin and it's like they melt and
it's like not– there's no resistance. Or the lo mein
won't be good or their options won't be good. Sometimes
I like to do a create your own situation. I'm
(14:49):
just frustrated. So I do need to find– oh, they
also have to do a big egg roll. I love
a fucking egg roll. I can deep throat egg rolls
all day long. And if they're not like filled and
heavy and big and like sometimes you bite into it
and it's fucking hollow. And the wrapper is not crispy enough.
Like I like a fucking dank egg roll. And I
get two of them. One for as soon as it
gets there while I'm like setting everything up because I can't.
Speaker 1 (15:10):
Now I want Chinese. I know.
Speaker 2 (15:12):
So I'll take the one egg roll is for when
I'm unpacking. And I'll eat that egg roll as I'm
putting everything out just so I can get the lay
of the land and taste it. And the other one
I usually save for the next day when I'm hungover.
And then I'll like I'll use that as the vessel
to dip into the fried rice into the chicken broccoli.
Speaker 1 (15:26):
Stop saying vessel.
Speaker 2 (15:28):
Well, I'm a vessel queen.
Speaker 1 (15:30):
A vessel queen.
Speaker 2 (15:32):
But yeah, that's that. That's all through that. Yum.
Speaker 1 (15:37):
I love Chinese. Actually, we're doing hibachi this weekend. Hibachi
to you. If you're in the Tri-State area, Jersey, they
come to your house and they cook. And we haven't
done it yet, this... This summer. Because I feel like
the summer went by so quick and probably because I
missed three weeks because I was like dying. But we
haven't done hibachi down the shore. We do it every
(15:59):
single year. So we're doing it this Saturday. And I'm
really excited because that is like the best thing to me.
Like just like the rice and the lo mein, the steak,
the chicken. It's just so fresh and yummy and everything
is thick and juicy. Yeah. I feel like Friday, I'm
literally just going to eat just like a salad.
Speaker 2 (16:21):
Yeah, it's fall now.
Speaker 1 (16:23):
Saturday, I'm going in. No, but I still want to
look good in my jeans and stuff because I'm a
jean girl now.
Speaker 2 (16:30):
You never used to wear jeans. Fun fact, you never
wore jeans growing up.
Speaker 1 (16:33):
Well, I always wore jeans in high school. I was
a jean girl in high school. Weathervane jeans. Yes, bitch.
Low rise when I was skinny.
Speaker 2 (16:41):
Yes.
Speaker 1 (16:42):
But no, I haven't wore jeans since 2006.
Speaker 2 (16:46):
Oh, Ayamina. But, oh, I went to the Hibachi. We
had Hibachi for girls. We had that girls trip at
your house down the shore. We did it. Now, do
they shoot sake in your mouth with a water gun?
Speaker 1 (16:59):
They do.
Speaker 2 (17:00):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (17:01):
So, I don't know. I don't know if I can
have sake. Like, I almost threw up from.
Speaker 2 (17:06):
A glass of wine.
Speaker 3 (17:07):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (17:07):
I would ask, because if I had Hibachi at my house,
I would have them put rosé or white wine in
it instead of the sake i know sake is yeah
the traditional but i think wine is i think it's
funnier to get wine shot in your mouth well i.
Speaker 1 (17:19):
Don't mind like the sake when it's like warm and
you're like sipping it like that's like kind of yeah
that's kind of cozy but like it's in the water
gun and it's like freezing cold like choking you like
going in the back of your throat i mean it's
it's fun for like it's fun to say you did
it but it's not it's not um it doesn't feel nice.
Speaker 2 (17:39):
Do the kids get something like that? Do they shoot
anything in the kid's face?
Speaker 1 (17:43):
Well, yeah, I told them to give them sake as well,
so they go to bed. No, no, they get water.
So they have like a kid's water gun and then
the adult one. So I'm excited for that.
Speaker 2 (17:53):
I would do like a lychee lemonade in there instead
of just something a little more fun than just water.
Speaker 1 (17:57):
Oh, yeah, I would do a rosé. Oh, for the kids.
Speaker 2 (18:00):
For the kids, yeah. Oh, yeah, yeah. Speaking of lychee lemonade,
that sounds good. You should make lemonade with lychee juice
in it and vodka. That sounds like a good drink. Yeah,
I've just been waiting for this day. I'm waiting for
the fall. I need resurfacing. Well, it's fall. Well, it
isn't though because it's fucking hot out.
Speaker 1 (18:22):
I know, but technically it's September. So we're in the burrs.
So we're in September, October, November, December. We're in our
prime right now.
Speaker 2 (18:31):
It's happening. I know.
Speaker 1 (18:32):
It's happening.
Speaker 2 (18:34):
I do have to announce something to make about something
I'm doing differently this year. Every year, you know, I
love a false scented candle and I go to the
Bad Bath and Beyond or the Bad Bath, whatever it's called,
Bath and Body Works and get the candles. This year,
I don't think I'm going to do that. I think
I'm going to lean into more natural ingredients. I think
I'm going to lean into like burning woods and incense
(18:55):
and like things like that.
Speaker 1 (18:57):
Yeah, but that sticks to your apartment just to let
you know.
Speaker 2 (19:00):
Oh, yeah, it does.
Speaker 1 (19:01):
That smell will, like, stick to the couches and stuff.
But speaking of candles, I just went to Bath &
Body Works. And I love their candles. It's, like, yummy. Like,
I really like, you know, their mists and everything and, like,
the car refreshers and everything. And I love their candles.
Don't get me wrong. But, and this is my favorite
thing for this week. This is my product of the week.
(19:23):
I'm just going to jump into it.
Speaker 2 (19:24):
Okay.
Speaker 1 (19:25):
I got this candle sent to me. And I opened it. Joey,
without even, like, right when I opened the box with
the knife, and this was wrapped up in, like, bubble
wrap and paper, I could already smell it. Oh. This
is the strongest candle that I've ever smelled in my
entire life, and it's not even burning yet. Like, if
we i put this under a candle burner oh my
(19:47):
god my whole house is gonna smell amazing this is
the pumpkin latte um who is this who is she
this is um who is this from oh my god.
Speaker 2 (19:59):
What is your name.
Speaker 1 (20:03):
Natural soy wax candle what is your name oh my
god it's not even on here.
Speaker 2 (20:09):
It doesn't say where it's from?
Speaker 1 (20:10):
It starts with a U. She doesn't have the name
on the thing.
Speaker 2 (20:17):
How do you know this person? I don't.
Speaker 1 (20:19):
I just got it sent to me.
Speaker 2 (20:21):
Is it from Taylor Todd?
Speaker 1 (20:23):
I don't think so.
Speaker 2 (20:24):
Is it South End Candle Company?
Speaker 1 (20:27):
No, it starts with a U. Oh my God, who
sent me this?
Speaker 2 (20:31):
Put it up to the screen so I can see it. No,
get close up. I'll know it. Can you see it?
I can't see.
Speaker 1 (20:43):
I threw the box out.
Speaker 2 (20:46):
Well, show yourself. Come forward. Whoever's candle this is, come
forward because we want to know who it is.
Speaker 1 (20:52):
Oh, my God. Maybe I can look it up. It
was like a U. I thought it was like Uncommon James.
It was similar to that. Oh. But it's not. But
it's 100% natural soy wax candle. It has pumpkin, cinnamon,
smoky clove, and nutmeg. A 10-ounce candle.
Speaker 2 (21:07):
Oh, my God. I want it. I can't, I can't.
Speaker 1 (21:11):
It smells like a Cinnabon, but like pumpkin-y.
Speaker 3 (21:13):
Oh, I want one.
Speaker 2 (21:14):
Okay, now I'm back on candles.
Speaker 1 (21:17):
No, Joey, you only need this candle. Everyone, you only
need this candle for the fall. This is the fall
candle and I'm pretty sure it's a small business. This
is the best fall candle that I've ever smelled in
my entire life. Okay?
Speaker 2 (21:29):
Wait, I know what you do. Take a picture of,
take a picture of it and put it on ChatGBT
and see where it's, say, where is this from?
Speaker 3 (21:36):
Oh, really?
Speaker 1 (21:36):
Is that how you use ChatGBT?
Speaker 2 (21:38):
I mean, What is this protein dill pickle?
Speaker 1 (21:44):
Let me see. Allow, let's see. What do I say?
Where is this from?
Speaker 2 (21:50):
Yeah, say where is this candle from?
Speaker 1 (21:53):
You guys, it's Uncommon James.
Speaker 2 (21:56):
Kristen Cavallari sent you that?
Speaker 1 (21:57):
No, I.
Speaker 2 (21:59):
Think the- A small business.
Speaker 1 (22:01):
I swore it was a small business because it didn't
have her on the business card.
Speaker 2 (22:06):
Well, who sent it to you?
Speaker 1 (22:08):
I don't remember. I just opened it and smelled it
and threw everything away.
Speaker 2 (22:11):
Oh, my God.
Speaker 1 (22:12):
So, Uncommon James, you are doing amazing things for the
candle business. This is from Uncommon James, Chris and Cavalieri's Place.
$ 28 for the candle. It's totally worth it. I'm telling
you right now. They have a 10-ounce, a 4-ounce, and
a 48-ounce. This is the best-smelling candle I've ever smelled
in my entire life.
Speaker 2 (22:32):
Here it is right here. Pumpkin Latte, $ 12. $ 12. How
is it only $ 12?
Speaker 1 (22:37):
Well, that's the 48-ounce probably.
Speaker 2 (22:41):
Oh, that's a 10-ounce? Oh, the 4-ounce?
Speaker 1 (22:44):
The 4-ounce is $ 12. This is the 10-ounce, which is
really big.
Speaker 2 (22:48):
It's $ 28.
Speaker 1 (22:48):
And then the 48-ounce is $ 125.
Speaker 3 (22:50):
$ 125.
Speaker 1 (22:50):
So that's probably like the big one. But I mean,
it's worth it. If you guys smell this candle, it's delicious.
Speaker 2 (22:59):
Wait a minute. Oh, my God. Uncommon James, I need
one as well. I want two of the large size
48 ounce. Click the link in my bio for my address.
Speaker 1 (23:09):
No, you really? And now that I see they have more.
Speaker 2 (23:13):
This is my livelihood. These candles are my livelihood. That's
all I have.
Speaker 1 (23:16):
Uncommon James, you need to send me your entire collection
because I just shouted you out to all the Crusader community.
Everyone's going to be buying this.
Speaker 2 (23:24):
And I'll read what it says. It's a limited edition,
limited time seasonal scent.
Speaker 1 (23:29):
And let me tell you that sometimes I get very
sensitive with candles. If it's too strong of a smell,
it makes me nauseous.
Speaker 2 (23:39):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (23:40):
And this is a very strong smell, and it doesn't
make me nauseous. It makes me feel cozy.
Speaker 2 (23:45):
Well, I like that they have different size options. So
there's price points for every home. You can get one
for $ 12 if you need to.
Speaker 1 (23:51):
If you want to try it out, $ 12 is nothing.
Speaker 2 (23:54):
And this is the description it says. Kristen Cavallari wrote
this word for word. Bring your favorite fall drink to
life with our pumpkin latte candle. Created with pumpkin, cinnamon,
smoky clove, and nutmeg. This fall candle has the perfect
balance of sweetness and spice to leave you feeling warm, cozy.
It is the mother.
Speaker 1 (24:13):
It's incredible. So I put it on my desk. And
even with it closed, I can smell it closed. I
can smell it with the cap still on.
Speaker 2 (24:23):
I can smell it with my panties through my pants sometimes.
Speaker 1 (24:27):
You're sick.
Speaker 2 (24:29):
Well, I'm happy that you found that. Thank God. Imagine
we sell it out. Oh, wait, I'm putting it on
my shop. My, and I'm sharing it.
Speaker 1 (24:40):
Stop taking my ideas. Well, don't you have a product
of the week?
Speaker 2 (24:43):
I do have a product of the week. Um, so
I haven't, I'm what's happened was I, you know, I
keep a fruit bowl out, um, every week and I,
I just, I let the things rot and I, they
go to garbage.
Speaker 1 (24:55):
I have a million.
Speaker 2 (24:57):
Well, not mama. This is like Fort Knox now or
Fort whatever it is. This place is a murder. It's
a fucking. Wait. It's a murder ground right now. I'm
killing everything in sight. No, you're lying. Wait. So I
had the fruit bowl and like there was like apples
in it and like plums and lemons and like all
(25:19):
this other stuff. But I guess it was like so full.
that everything looked fresh on top. Cause I was like,
you know, I guess I was like, I keep filling
it up, but I didn't know that underneath, underneath the
top layer, there was like fucking like, like crypt keepers,
like dead people and like fucking bodies and things.
Speaker 1 (25:33):
Zombies.
Speaker 2 (25:35):
Zombies growing underneath the thing. I opened it up, take
off like a couple apples and oranges. And then there
was a fucking infestation. The thing that it was like,
it was like a swarm of bees. Like, you know,
when a swarm like goes.
Speaker 3 (25:45):
Yes.
Speaker 1 (25:45):
That's what happened to my kitchen.
Speaker 2 (25:48):
That's what happened. It was fruit flies everywhere. There was
probably 500 billion of them. There had to have been.
And then they just all descended. I was like, ah,
so I got my blowtorch out first and foremost. I
started blowtorching. the whole area was like in the air.
But then they, then they started hiding in the walls.
So I had to take my energy into my own hands.
(26:10):
And I got this fly swatter. This is an electric
fly swatter. Peaky's terrified of it. This is like, you
just go through the air like this and it goes zip, zap, zap, zap, zap.
Speaker 1 (26:19):
Oh, that's probably so satisfying.
Speaker 2 (26:21):
It kills them all. So I have to get, I
swipe through, but now I see them. Like they see
me sometimes and they'll crawl. They'll run away from me
and they'll like crawl into these things. They all must
tell each other about it because now they're terrified. And
then I got this other thing. It's a glue trap thing.
It looks like a handle. It's like a big blue
thing and it has stickies all in it. So people,
they fly to look at the things. Yeah. They fly
(26:43):
to look at all the blue lights and then they
get stuck to the walls. And I feel bad because
now there's two walls and they're both facing each other.
What if one's mom or dad is across the hall
and they're like, oh, I'm trying to just stay still.
Speaker 1 (26:53):
You can't think like that. I know.
Speaker 2 (26:55):
Stay strong, sweetie. Mommy's going to try to get you.
We're going to get out of here. My empathy is
like going too much. Sometimes I just have to close
my eyes and go, ah, and just do the murder.
Speaker 1 (27:06):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (27:08):
But it's like, I think they, if the first infestation
is gone, I won't have to do so much killing
in the house. But, This has been saving my life.
I keep this on the side of the bed because
if I see one. Also, it's not only the infestation.
I like to keep my door open in the cooler months.
I have this big sliding glass door that goes out
to the outdoor space. And I like to leave that open.
(27:32):
There's no screen in it, obviously, because I don't know why.
So the flies come in. And then I get these
big fucking bird flies. They're like little cherry.
Speaker 1 (27:41):
Oh, the worst.
Speaker 2 (27:43):
What's it called? What's the name of a bird? A cardinal? Yeah,
they're like the size of cardinals. And they're flying around
the house, and they don't leave the house. And sometimes
I'll catch them in a mason jar, and I'll put
them in. I'll lure them in and go, and I'll
bring them outside. But now they're just in here for days,
and they're just feeling bad. I try to lead them
(28:03):
to outside and try to show them where to go.
They don't do it. So now I'm just going to
have to start murdering them with this. I got this
on Amazon.
Speaker 1 (28:12):
Well, I've had.
A fly infestation as well because I do leave my
fruit out on the counter. So I ended up getting
this bowl, which is supposed to not let the fruit
flies in because it has like a net. The fruit
flies go through the net. I mean, the holes are
too big. So that didn't work. So I always have
(28:34):
the plug-ins with the blue stickies, which does work a
little bit. But once you have an infestation, like it's
impossible to... To get all the buggies with the plug-in thing.
So I ended up... So we do the old Italian thing.
Speaker 2 (28:47):
What's that?
Speaker 1 (28:49):
You do the balsamic vinegar. You put like a lemon.
And then you put it in a bowl. And then
you put the saran wrap over top.
Speaker 2 (28:55):
And poke the holes in it.
Speaker 1 (28:56):
And poke the holes. That is probably the best thing
that really does work. But I was watching this. So
I've been obsessed with TikTok cleaners recently. Vanessa? So it's like...
All these ladies that just go into hoarded homes and
they just clean the shit out of everything and make
it brand new. I was up till 3 a.m. watching
this fucking girl. I'm not. I was watching all of
(29:20):
her TikTok just like cleaning up these disgusting houses. And
she goes, you to really clean your house and get
everything out. You need to get the enzyme solutions. And
I never heard of this enzyme before.
Speaker 2 (29:32):
I mean, I saw.
Speaker 1 (29:33):
And she said, they're really good for fruit flies. So
I went on to Amazon and there was a fruit
fly enzyme solution that you pour down the sink. And
then all of all over that, all the bugs will
be dead. So I ended up just buying that. And
I can't wait to murder.
Speaker 2 (29:50):
Are they coming from the sink?
Speaker 1 (29:53):
A lot of mine do, yeah.
Speaker 2 (29:54):
A lot of people. But the thing is, you have
the net over the thing. Doesn't the fruit make the
fruit flies? Fruit flies just don't come in from somewhere.
They don't come in from outside. They manifest themselves. They
get born. How are fruit flies made?
Speaker 1 (30:12):
This is my question, though. Even maggots and stuff, do
you just come out of nowhere? Do they smell something
outside and they come inside? How do they know it's there?
Speaker 2 (30:25):
No, I think they're born. I think they manifest themselves
from the sugars in the fruit. Let me ask.
Speaker 1 (30:31):
Ask Alexa. Are you still friends with her?
Speaker 2 (30:32):
Hey, chat. Can you please explain to me how fruit
flies come about? Do they just manifest themselves or do
they come in from outside?
Speaker 3 (30:44):
They don't just, boom, appear.
Speaker 2 (30:46):
No.
Speaker 3 (30:47):
Flies come from eggs laid by adult flies. They love
to lay them on foodstuffs.
Speaker 1 (30:53):
She's laughing at you.
Speaker 3 (30:54):
Trash or any kind of damp, organic gunk. The eggs
hatch into larvae, maggots.
Speaker 1 (30:59):
Ew.
Speaker 3 (31:00):
And then after they pupate, they emerge as adults. So
if you see a bunch all of a sudden, it's because, well,
there was a food source near my wedding that developed them.
Speaker 2 (31:12):
Why is she judging a nasty? Yeah, but where do
the eggs come from?
Speaker 3 (31:19):
Those are laid by adult flies. The female fly finds
something gross and moist and dumps the eggs there. Garbage or, yeah,
or compost or even like a forgotten spill. It doesn't
take much, just a few crumbs and a little moisture.
She's not picky at all.
Speaker 2 (31:41):
Thanks, Queen.
Speaker 1 (31:42):
Disgusting.
Speaker 3 (31:43):
Anytime. Keep it clean, keep it dry, and the flies
stay away.
Speaker 1 (31:47):
Is she high? Why does she keep laughing?
Speaker 2 (31:49):
Why was she... I think I upgraded. Now she'll chuckle
at you. I don't like it. Well, I guess, yeah.
Maybe it's from that one big fly that comes in here.
And she laid the eggs. Now that's where fruit flies
come from. From one fly leaving the door open. Oh,
flies are the worst.
Speaker 1 (32:08):
See, that's why I shouldn't have killed my spider in
my bathroom. Because my spider would have came down here
and ate all the flies.
Speaker 2 (32:18):
Hello?
Speaker 1 (32:21):
Everyone go to UncommonJames.com and forward slash pumpkin latte candle
to find out more information. Kristen, I expect you to
send me your full collection ASAP. Thank you. Ew.
Speaker 2 (32:39):
I want some as well. Please. Okay.
Speaker 1 (32:45):
So I have some celeb gossip I want to talk about.
Speaker 2 (32:49):
What's the tea, mama? Spill it.
Speaker 1 (32:51):
Number one, our girl Leah. And not your best friend.
Leah Remini. She is joining... The housewives of Beverly Hills.
Speaker 2 (33:04):
I thought that she was from Queens. That's what I
got confused about.
Speaker 1 (33:06):
Can you imagine? Isn't she from Queens? Yeah, I'm pretty
sure she's from here. But it doesn't matter now because
she's lived there forever. Yeah. Yeah, I feel like this
is great. I love her so much. I met her
on Dancing with the Stars. She came on our podcast once.
I'm just obsessed with her. She is so nice. Yeah.
(33:27):
Just so down to earth. And she's like one of
my fun aunts. I just love her so much. So
I feel like she's going to be a great addition
to the show. And she tells it like it is.
So if she gets annoyed, you're going to know it.
Speaker 2 (33:39):
You know, Beverly Hills has always had a good cast
of people. Like, you know, like a lot of the
franchise that try new things, like they never really ever
work out. Like they always have consistently, even though they
may not last forever, they do always cast really well.
New York, they've ruined after they got rid of all
the original girls. but I'm excited for this because, um,
(33:59):
I don't know much about Leah Remini. I know that
I know, but I'm excited to learn more about her.
Like when Jennifer Tilly joined, I knew that she was
like an actress here and there, but I just learned
so much more. I know that I didn't know that
she had, her husband was the inventor of the Simpsons
and she now, that's why she's a billionaire because she,
she gets all the residuals after he's dead. I think
he's dead or they're divorced. One of them, but she,
that's why she's a billionaire now because she, she owns
(34:21):
the Simpsons. Um, So I'm excited to find out what
Larry Remini brings to the table. What she's going to
bring is an East Coast horror, don't fuck with me, bitch,
type thing. I think everyone's very prissy there. I love that.
The girl, ladies who lunch, who sip tea. But you
never see those ladies like, you know, cause a scene
or a brawl or call someone out in an East
(34:42):
Coast way. It's a very different thing than a light shade.
So I'm excited to see the roughness she brings from
the East Coast. Also, I'm excited to see– I was
always so confused about her whole journey and scandal with
the Scientology world. I never really understood what was going
on with that. And it's interesting to see an Italian
(35:04):
girl from Queens that's usually so fucking Catholic and so
religious and so going to church with their communion and shit.
And to see an Italian girl from Queens like that,
or wherever she's from, Brooklyn, I don't know where she
actually is from, go into a different religion so unheard of.
So I'm interested to see what is going on all
(35:24):
through that. But then another thing is, I think that
a lot of people are going to be tuning in
in hopes that there's some connection to the inside friendship
and world with her and her best friend J-Lo. Because
her best friend is J-Lo. Oh, yeah, maybe. So I
think that that's going to be a draw for a
lot of people. A lot of people are going to
tune in hoping they're going to get some insight about
(35:45):
her famous best friend. I also want to see the
dynamic of how she's living in this, like not living
in the shadow, but a lot of times, you know,
people compare, you know, the two friends and like, you know,
keep her in Jennifer's shadow, which is.
Speaker 1 (35:56):
Like me and you.
Speaker 2 (35:57):
Yeah. Yeah. Like my life living in the shadow of
Snooki's poof. That's what I meant more.
Speaker 1 (36:04):
Get out of the shot, Joey.
Speaker 2 (36:06):
So I'm interested to see about that. And yeah, I
like some that's familiar, but that I really don't know about.
So I'm excited to see where that takes it.
Speaker 1 (36:18):
I also know that she did get a divorce, I think,
last year or two years ago. Oh. So I don't
know if she's single right now, but that'll be interesting
to maybe see her trying to date or just being
a single lady, but also being a great mom. And obviously, yeah,
she has one daughter and obviously she's known for being
(36:40):
an actress. Her ex-husband is an actor too. Um, but yeah,
I'm excited. I love her so much and we're big
fans of her and she's just very sweet. So I'm
very happy for her that she's doing this. I feel
like it's great.
Speaker 2 (36:54):
I am too. Um, I'm also excited that, um, who
else is on the show this time? It's, um, is
there a new other new cast members? There's one new lady.
I don't know who she is though.
Speaker 1 (37:05):
Um, I just know Lear and I'm really excited. I
also wanted to talk about Celine Dion. She has arrived.
She has arrived for her Paris concert. And I heard
that she's adding new dates.
Speaker 2 (37:23):
So we have to go. I mean, I love with
Paris and I already have a plane ticket. I see
to get there. Can I sleep on your couch in
the Paris hotel?
Speaker 1 (37:34):
Yeah, I know me, a couple of the girls really
want to go. And when we first heard about Celine
going to do her final tour, everyone's saying it's her
final tour. It was sold out in like three minutes.
Like all of her shows for the three months were
sold out. So I think she added more. We have
to jump on this right away because it's going to
(37:54):
sell out again. But like, we love Celine Dion because
when we have our girls nights, what do you think
we're like, blasting in Joey's apartment it's Celine Dion always
yeah it's like such a Celine Dion is like girlhood
like you go to a brunch you go to a
(38:15):
girl party a sleepover there's gonna be a Celine Dion
song blasting she is the epitome of girlhood so.
Speaker 2 (38:22):
We have to go well don't don't twist my titty
you know I'll show up to Paris in a hot
minute yes we have to figure.
Speaker 1 (38:29):
It out but she looks so good Because remember she
did a documentary how she was suffering.
Speaker 2 (38:35):
Yes.
Speaker 1 (38:36):
And she was like, I can't even sing. I lost
my voice. I can't move. Like, it was just so
sad to see. And now the bitch is back. The
bitch is back. She's going to perform. She's going to
do all the things. Like, we can't miss this, Joey,
because we're going to regret it. We have to go.
Speaker 2 (38:52):
Well, yeah, you have to strike well on top because,
you know, we lost one of our angels has fallen.
Speaker 1 (38:59):
Oh, my God.
Speaker 2 (39:00):
Our big titty friend Dolly Parton has passed.
Speaker 1 (39:04):
Do you know what? Like, what the fuck is going on?
Speaker 2 (39:07):
I'm so– not mad. I mean, I'm just not– it's–
you should– we should appreciate the things we have. I mean,
she was always celebrated. But, like, I wish that it
doesn't take this to, like– it doesn't take someone dying
to resurface and, like, just to appreciate how much they
mean to your life. Like, until– you know what I mean? Like,
we should live in the now because, like, i like
everyone's like showing all these videos and all these things
(39:30):
about her and all her great things which you've all
have always.
Speaker 1 (39:32):
Known yeah she's always been iconic.
Speaker 2 (39:34):
Though always yes it's just i feel like i i
think we should all take a lesson from this like
appreciate the things while we have it like if you
like someone and you're a fan of theirs or like
you know just your family just people that you care
about and love Spend more time and just invest more
of your– absorb more and just be around them more
(39:55):
and just– you know what I mean? Because now it's
like now she's gone. I'm just like seeing all this stuff.
Now I'm really missing out. I want more of her
in my life. The thing that I loved much about
her is how insightful she was and how smart and–
just relatable. She was like, anytime she's talking about a relationship,
(40:15):
she goes, well, honey, you just got to get back
off that horse and, you know, get back on it.
You can't change what people think. She always had the
smartest things to say, like such insightful words of wisdom
at all times. And she was always so fucking conscious.
She's a Capricorn like me, always so confident, never cocky, gracious.
And just people felt fucking empowered when they, when they're
(40:38):
around her and like, just seeing her like, being unapologetic
and just being who she was. And she was just,
she's iconic. She's an eye fucking icon. She's a, I
think she, I think bigger than, than Marilyn Monroe to me.
Speaker 1 (40:51):
Well, I think she had a great fricking life because
what was she?
Speaker 2 (40:54):
80.
Speaker 3 (40:54):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (40:55):
Just turn 80.
Speaker 1 (40:57):
Oh, she definitely could have lived a little longer. I feel,
but she looked stunning. Like always, she, she didn't even
look 80. She looked like 50 years old, but she
was such like an icon to everybody. And the words
of wisdom, like you said, like she was always preaching,
like being positive and kindness and dealing with things in
a classy way. And she was fricking Dolly Parton. Like
(41:18):
everybody knows who Dolly Parton is. So RIP, RIP to
the queen. We lost, we lost the legend, but also
she had a great fricking life. And I feel like
she did everything that she wanted to do. And she'll
always be remembered. But what a sin. Like, this is
so sad.
Speaker 2 (41:35):
I know. R.I.P. Jolly, we raise our bras up to
you tonight, girl.
Speaker 1 (41:41):
Yes.
Speaker 2 (41:41):
In solidarity. One of my favorite quotes that she said was,
like someone asked her, an interviewer said, what do you
feel when people call you just a dumb blonde? She goes, well,
first of all, I know I'm not dumb. And I
definitely know I'm not blonde.
Speaker 1 (41:57):
Is she a brunette?
Speaker 2 (41:59):
Yeah, she wears wigs, like blonde wigs.
Speaker 1 (42:02):
Oh, bitch.
Speaker 2 (42:04):
But that's not the only one. The very same day
we lost Tim Curry. I think that was.
Speaker 1 (42:11):
The next day.
Speaker 2 (42:12):
Oh, I don't know. Well, either way.
Speaker 1 (42:17):
Anyway, what is happening here?
Speaker 2 (42:19):
So Home Alone is going to be extra. Because this
is the first year that we lost Catherine O'Hara, too.
So this year, Home Alone is going to hit so differently.
This year sucks. The father's dead. The mother's dead. The
Tim Curry's dead. The old lady, the bird lady's dead.
The old man that's in church with him is dead.
Speaker 1 (42:41):
Oh, my God.
Speaker 2 (42:42):
So this is the first year everyone is dead in it. So, Kevin,
just be careful. Mind your P's and Q's. Don't go
out of the house.
Speaker 1 (42:49):
Kevin, please.
Speaker 2 (42:50):
Yeah, stay safe, Mom.
Speaker 1 (42:50):
Oh, my God. Let's wrap him in bubble wrap.
Speaker 2 (42:53):
Yes, we have to protect him. But, yeah, that's going
to hit differently this year. holiday season but that's my
comfort movie Home Alone has always been my comfort movie
I watch it every right about now sometimes in August
I'll do it if I have to but that automatically
brings me right into all the feels same okay so
(43:19):
fall through that that's the name of the episode I
am preparing like I said I'm going to start watching
my Christmas movies and my lifetime movies Every year about
this time– and I wish I was more dedicated to
the cause, to Lifetime movies. But it's just a cold
weather thing for me. So I like to watch all
(43:40):
of the silly movies about like– oh, I moved to the–
I went back to my hometown to– because the pumpkin
farm was going foreclosure and I had to sell my– Oh,
it's the best. Yeah. So like– and then she trips
over a leaf and falls– They're so cozy. Yeah. At
the cider drinking competition. So like I– Can't wait to
watch all those movies, but same. Um, as you may
(44:02):
or may not saw him, I did a PR hall
on La Crusade sent me all of their cozy cookware.
And now I have a big pot for all of my,
my winter stews and chilies all through that. So I'm starting.
Speaker 1 (44:14):
I think you, yeah, you got to do like a
segment for cooking and then tell the Crusaders how you
make your natural, tell the Crusaders how you make your natural, um,
your house scent with the cinnamon.
Speaker 2 (44:25):
My simmer pots. Yes. Yes. Um, So I'm going to
be doing lots of stews, stoops. I've been buying a
whole chicken every week and making a whole chicken. It's
the best thing ever. Because you can just put it
in a pot and then it's.
Speaker 1 (44:39):
Like a chicken– like a bird? Like a big bird?
Speaker 2 (44:42):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (44:43):
Sick.
Speaker 2 (44:44):
I make one every week. And then me and Peaky–
Peaky and I eat chicken every week. So it's like
you get all the different pieces. And I do all
different ways. So I'm going to– maybe I'll put it
in my roaster.
Speaker 3 (44:55):
Roaster.
Speaker 2 (44:55):
Or braise it. I don't know. Yummy. So I've been
preparing with that. My simmer pots, I have it on
my Amazon storefront. You can go with just a clear
little pot that you put on the stove and then
you can put all different things that you find.
Speaker 1 (45:07):
Are those heavy though?
Speaker 2 (45:09):
The clear pots? Are my pots?
Speaker 1 (45:11):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (45:11):
Like we say? Yeah. They look heavy. They're heavy as hell. Yeah.
They're cast iron. But that's how they last forever.
Speaker 1 (45:18):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (45:20):
What else am I doing to prepare?
Speaker 1 (45:21):
Oh.
Speaker 2 (45:23):
I do need to prepare a fall apple picking trip.
And I brought Peaky. I want to find a dog-friendly
harvest day where you're allowed to bring your dog and
we can go running through the fields, picking pumpkins, picking apples,
going on the hay rides, doing all that. I don't care.
I'm never going to have a real child in my life.
So this is my kid. And I'm not going to
(45:44):
miss out just because my kid has a different gender,
a different species.
Speaker 1 (45:48):
Species, yeah.
Speaker 2 (45:50):
So I need to find a dog-friendly– Haunted Hayride. And
this year, I think I'm going to finally find the
right day because every year I always miss it. I'm
bringing him to a costume contest in the city. There's
all dog costume contests all over the city, and I
always miss the day. So I had to find, and
I'm going to make his costume from scratch.
Speaker 1 (46:07):
Well, last year, from scratch, you're a designer. Yeah.
Speaker 2 (46:11):
I'm going to get some scratch, some fabric swatches.
Speaker 1 (46:17):
Well, last year, I think Rocky was a spider.
Speaker 3 (46:20):
Yes.
Speaker 1 (46:21):
And that was cute. yeah that was really cute because
it actually looks like a big spider walking around but
then it scared me because i'm arachnophobic.
Speaker 2 (46:29):
Yeah um he is never really worn costumes before but
he's been getting into like more clothes now that he
got that the hairdresser fucking robertson for all his hair
i'm still so pissed about that um whatever but it'll
grow back it's growing back um what are you doing
to prepare for fall.
Speaker 1 (46:48):
So I'm annoyed because I didn't really, like, decorate yet
because life has been just crazy. So I do have
a couple pumpkins out already. And I got my candle
from Uncommon James. But I have my Mickey. So I love...
I'm a Disney mom, obviously. I love Disney. Anything Disney, Mickey.
Speaker 3 (47:06):
So I.
Speaker 1 (47:08):
Yeah, so I love anything, like, Disney, pumpkin, like, whatever.
So I do have my Mickey and my Minnie. Pumpkins out. Um.
But that's it. Like I have to go in my
attic and get all my stuff. And usually my front
porch is like so cute because I have like chairs
out there. So last year it was so convenient because
I did a collab with, um, M & Ms for
(47:30):
Halloween and they decked out my entire front yard for
the photo shoot. And I was, and I was like,
can I keep this? They were like, of course. And
I was like, Oh my God. So my front yard
last year for Halloween was fricking insane. Thanks to M & Ms. Um,
so this year, I couldn't really save a lot because
it was like, Hey, that was falling apart. But this
year I got, I got to get it done. Like
(47:51):
I got to, my, my big thing is getting my
front yard done, like my porch, make it nice and cozy.
And then inside, inside, I don't decorate too much because
you know, by the time it's Halloween, Halloween night, I'm
decorating for Christmas, Halloween night. So I don't like to
go too crazy with Halloween in the house just because
I'm more of a Christmas girl and I, I just
(48:12):
don't want to put like all the things away. So, Yeah,
I definitely can't wait. When the kids are in school,
I'm going to do a home goods run and getting
brand new. Every year I get new Halloween stuff and
fall stuff. I don't even need it because I like
have so much stuff. But every year you have to
get something new, you know?
Speaker 3 (48:32):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (48:32):
So that's my favorite thing to do is going to
get a Starbucks drink and then going to home goods
and getting some new fall decor. Oh, the best day ever.
Speaker 2 (48:41):
I'm so excited. I never– you know I became a
plant queen over the summer. I had my herb garden.
I was growing peppers and all this stuff. So I'm
going to keep up with the tradition. Now, normally in
the fall, I never decorate the balcony. But this year,
I'm switching out, putting mums in all the pots. I'm
doing pumpkins out there. I'm going to put a little
haystack to sit on so we can smoke cigarettes on
(49:01):
the haystack.
Speaker 1 (49:03):
Cute.
Speaker 2 (49:04):
And kind of just make it a little cozier than
I normally do. I like to go to HomeGoods. Like here,
we don't have such good things. You have such good
things in this, in Jersey, because you can go to
like those stores that have all the big things. Here,
things are limited. yeah but home goods and tj maxx
are my go-to for cute big.
Speaker 1 (49:21):
Lots big lots is real you never heard of big
lots no we don't have that here oh my god
there was a big lots five minutes it's like.
Speaker 2 (49:30):
Um i saw it by your house.
Speaker 1 (49:33):
Yeah, it has decor, they have food, they have toiletries,
they have everything. It's kind of like a little Walmart.
But they had one right by my house. And it
closed like three years ago, I was distraught. I had
a big lots credit card, I went literally every single
day to get new, new stuff, new decor. And it's inexpensive.
It's not, you know, a lot at all. So The
(49:56):
Big Lots, the next one near me is like 30
minutes away. So Big Lots always has the best Halloween
and Christmas decor. Do not sleep on Big Lots.
Speaker 2 (50:06):
I have a prediction for Christmas and for right now,
for the fall season. Mark my words. And when you
start seeing it, you're going to know that this is
just because I'm smart. I think... Are these socks on
the wrong feet? Sorry. I think that the theme this year...
is for the decor, for Christmas decor and fall and
(50:28):
all that stuff, it's going to be 90s nostalgia. I
think it's going to be like things that look old,
like things like, like colorful, like all the lights can
be colorful. It's going to be like all 90s. You
know what?
Speaker 1 (50:38):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (50:39):
Like it's going to look, they're going to look tacky
and like, oh my God, why would they want this
ugly thing? People are going to look at it because
everyone's so used to the modern, like sleek, fucking neutral beige,
all the shit. But I think this year it's going
to be back to like plastic pump, like plastic Santas
that are like, that are like the moving fucking angels
and things like this, like those things. The snow on
(51:01):
the windows, like the spray snow and all the fake
cotton snow things puffed up. Color, we need more color.
The trains, like the mechanical trains and things. I think
all the shit like from the 90s, Like thinking about like,
are the 80s like, what's that time that Stranger Things,
like that era, like when Stranger Things was around, like
(51:23):
everything is like, I think that's in the kitchen things.
I think platters are going to have like, you know,
like lacquered platters with the puffy Santas on them and
the turkeys, like a big turkey decoration. I think it's
going to be very kitschy, nostalgic. not high end, not super,
like I'm tired of everything.
Speaker 1 (51:41):
I mean, I hope so. I know.
Speaker 2 (51:42):
I'm tired of everything trying to be so like luxury
and high end. Like, bitch, if things, certain things can
be high end and luxury. If you, if you have
money and you're in a fucking thing, but you're not,
stop trying to romanticize. Everything has to be sleek and
modern in order to be beneficial to your life. It's like,
I can't stand that, that whitewashed fucking beige stone fucking
(52:05):
color palette. It's so, dead and like no personality so
i think it's gonna be about personality prints um um
the blankets and towels and sheets and beddings are gonna
have you know um like snowman prints and pajamas are
gonna have prints people are gonna be wearing ugly sweaters
like not ironically like i think that this year i
(52:26):
think people are craving that people are craving a sense
of comfort and home And nostalgia. And I think I'm
telling you now, you're going to start seeing it everywhere
you look. It's going to be tacky, old things that
we used to have that are going to just bring
people joy. I think it's the right time.
Speaker 1 (52:44):
Yeah, I was never a fan of like the beige
and like the chic, modern Christmas decor. I have always
did color. I've always did color and I like the
old school like, you know, rainbow Christmas bulbs. And I just,
there's like no life. And it's pretty in some of
the houses because I know a lot of houses are
(53:05):
just like all white and modern, literally no fucking color.
Like it's pretty, but it's just not realistic to me.
It's like I, even if I did that at my house,
like nothing would be clean because I have three kids
and you know, my house is lived in. It is
what it is. Like I'm not that, I'm not that
girl that like tries to make my house look just
like spick and span all the time because it's just
(53:26):
not real life. So for my Christmas and my holidays,
I do as much color as I can. And I
love to bring it back to like when I was
growing up and like all like the Chotskys and, you know,
the fun like colors and decor like that's my jam.
So Please, everyone, get back to the old school decorating
way of, you know, decorating for the holidays because that
(53:49):
brings joy. Color brings joy is what I'm saying.
Speaker 2 (53:52):
Yes. And there's still a way to do it. You
can still have a sleek, modern, fresh, like, you know,
museum-style home and add these elements in. You just have
to find your right niche to do it. It doesn't
always have to be, like, sand and stone. You can
definitely get some color in there or some nostalgia.
Speaker 1 (54:10):
Yeah. Make it tacky.
Speaker 2 (54:12):
Just make it tacky. Look all through. I'm going to
leave this red curtain up all year. You should. I
also have been watching, trying to find the best fall
shows to get me in the mood. I always go
right to Gilmore Girls because that makes me feel like
a cozy, small fall town. And then there's all the
things on the Lifetime. But I'm looking for some new
(54:35):
movies that I need because I think I've seen them
all many times. Not like spooky Halloween movies. I know
Practical Magic is coming out with a new episode. I mean,
a new movie.
Speaker 1 (54:47):
Yes.
Speaker 2 (54:47):
I never got fully through the first one.
Speaker 1 (54:50):
Wait, did you see their premiere party and what they
were wearing?
Speaker 2 (54:53):
Oh, my God. They look like they're 13 years old.
That's the Practical Magic.
Speaker 1 (54:57):
Their outfits. Sandra was Sandra. That leopard dress.
Speaker 2 (55:03):
That's what I'm wearing. Oh, my God.
Speaker 1 (55:05):
Like, oh, my God.
Speaker 2 (55:06):
I've never seen it look hotter. That was the most stunning.
Speaker 1 (55:09):
And she's always been hot. Like she's never had a
bad outfit.
Speaker 2 (55:12):
She looked stunning.
Speaker 1 (55:13):
Nicole Kidman looks stunning. They look, they don't even look
like they aged from the first practical magic. Like they look,
they look insane.
Speaker 3 (55:20):
Oh my God.
Speaker 1 (55:21):
Unbelievable.
Speaker 2 (55:22):
I mean, they're looking, they've never looked better. Um, I've never, I,
this is my honesty. I've never sat through the full movie.
Like every time I started it recently, like I've only learned,
learned about this year. I never saw that movie before.
So I started watching.
Speaker 1 (55:35):
It on the way home from our, our trip.
Speaker 2 (55:38):
Do you remember?
Speaker 1 (55:39):
That's what i remember yes i know i think you
were sleeping.
Speaker 2 (55:42):
Yeah i always grab the phone i have to i
don't even know what happens but i'm excited that i
haven't really seen it because i want to watch that
one and then go see the new one right after
that yes um but i need another full movie what
do you watch when you want to get in a
cozy cozy mood is there a certain movie that's like
either fall or halloween oh like.
Speaker 1 (56:00):
Fall um No, I usually just jump right to Christmas,
which is Santa with Tim Allen, the first one. That
is my go-to Christmas movie. If I'm in a bad mood,
I'll throw that on. That is my favorite holiday movie
of all time.
Speaker 2 (56:16):
What is it called?
Speaker 1 (56:17):
Santa.
Speaker 2 (56:18):
Santa Claus. It's just called The Santa Claus.
Speaker 1 (56:21):
With Tim Allen.
Speaker 2 (56:22):
Yeah, yeah, yeah. Where he's in the city.
Speaker 1 (56:25):
It's the best movie of all time. It gives me
such a feel, and I feel like a kid again.
Speaker 2 (56:29):
Is that where they look through the book, and like,
you want an engagement ring, and for your boyfriend to
finally commit. He's like going through the book, saying what
they want for Christmas, like he gets Santa's book.
Speaker 1 (56:40):
Yeah, he turns into Santa.
Speaker 2 (56:42):
But is that the scene where the little boy, that
fat little guinea with the big book, he's like, yeah,
you wanted a pony and a skateboard. What's your name? Okay,
I know what you mean.
Speaker 1 (56:53):
Oh, my God. How do you not know? You're so weird.
So anyway, yeah, that's my favorite movie. But I would,
I usually, for Halloween, I'll do The Craft. The Craft,
hands down, gets me in a spooky mood. I've always
wanted to be in the coven.
Speaker 2 (57:09):
Her mouth scares me. Oh, the... That woman's mouth?
Speaker 1 (57:14):
The lady?
Speaker 3 (57:14):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (57:15):
She's iconic. Yeah, but doesn't she look like she's going
to bite you?
Speaker 1 (57:18):
Well, yeah, she looks like a real witch. So I'll
do The Craft and then Santa Claus.
Speaker 2 (57:25):
Yes. I got to find one. I need to get
back in the mood. But yeah, Crusaders, any suggestions you have?
Sound off in the chat below what shows should we
be watching to get us in the fall season through that.
Speaker 1 (57:38):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (57:42):
Nicole, my socks were on the wrong feet.
Speaker 1 (57:45):
You have ADD today.
Speaker 2 (57:48):
Well, my life's in shambles again.
Speaker 1 (57:49):
Just a little bit. Wait, I wanted to talk about
Bethany Frankel.
Speaker 2 (57:53):
Oh, yes.
Speaker 1 (57:55):
She was documenting how she's going to Burning Man, which
I think is happening right now.
Speaker 2 (58:00):
With her hot young boyfriend, her blonde boyfriend.
Speaker 1 (58:02):
So I've heard of Burning Man because I know a
couple of producers that I used to work with always go.
What is Burning Man? Is it like a festival and
just DJs playing? What is Burning Man?
Speaker 2 (58:16):
Yes, Burning Man, it is. It's a little bit of everything.
it is more of a society as opposed to it's
about the community more about than the concerts. I think
there is like, I'm sure there is musical acts and
stuff like that, but it's not like a music festival.
It is a life festival where, um, I think people
like where art and spirituality and.
Speaker 1 (58:39):
Yeah. It looks, it looks like very like hippie to me.
Speaker 2 (58:42):
Yeah. So it's not like, it's not like a religion
in any way, but it's like a spirituality, um, thing
celebrating life it's a it's people doing drugs and um
and that there are listening to music but they all
build like community oh there's no money that's the thing
there's no money there it's like all a a society
where like there's no.
Speaker 1 (59:01):
Money no money exists why everyone is that it's so
it's so expensive to go to burning man.
Speaker 2 (59:08):
Well no i mean you have to buy you have
to buy your like, I think you have to like,
you know, you have to pay to like build your
house or like, and to build or to like bring
things like that. But like, as far as like, you know,
when you're there, like eat like food and like, drinks
and like things. No, it's exchanges. It's like, you know,
like people, it's community. So like, this is our, like,
it's like, you know, at the end of the world,
(59:29):
like when you, what, what those, what the show, what's
the show we watched the last of us when they
all have different, different trading goods. Yeah. So it's like,
it's exactly like that. Like where they're, they're different, like
teams or what are they, what is it like the
different and fucking people. So there's groups of different people.
So they all like, you know, this is this group
and they, they, they do, they all help each other
(59:52):
it's like it's like a commute a commune um environment
and then and then everything happens there like you know
it's like self-discovery um i think there's like you know.
Speaker 1 (01:00:01):
So why why was she getting so much hate for
going then because it's like traditionally like she's like you're
not you're not gonna last.
Speaker 2 (01:00:09):
And stuff well i think because people like it they
say it's it's lots of parties like late night like
to parties in the desert like they're there like like
listening to music doing raves it's traditionally like a lot
of drugs and a lot of like you know, staying
up all night. So it's kind of like, you know,
like a big festival, but it's like you sleep there
for like three days. And I just think it's like,
you know, it's because I think originally it was like that,
(01:00:29):
but I think now it's more about just people wearing
fucking stupid outfits and like getting their picture taken. I
think it's evolved. But it's also, you know, it's not,
it's just a little old, a little, a little old.
I mean, I think it's a younger thing traditionally I'm assuming.
So I think maybe that's why she's getting hate. It's like, Oh,
you're a mom. Where are you going to this?
Speaker 1 (01:00:48):
Thing, but I think it's, you know, I don't think
I'm a festival girl. Like even like, I, I don't,
I don't want to stay in a desert and all
the people and like, I don't know, like the port-a-potties,
the bathrooms and no, it's.
Speaker 2 (01:01:01):
Too much walking.
Speaker 1 (01:01:02):
It takes forever to do everything.
Speaker 2 (01:01:05):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (01:01:06):
I like, I like concerts. I love going to concerts,
but like going to a festival and sleeping in the
desert for three days, like No, thank you.
Speaker 2 (01:01:14):
Like, even if it's, even if, even if like, like
a child, even if Coachella, like, even if you are
on the VIP, like even the highest end VIP list,
it's still a pain in the ass to do everything.
Like you're still, you have to like travel and walk
and like, and it takes forever to get around.
Speaker 1 (01:01:33):
I feel like, yeah, I feel like all I see
from these festivals is people complaining about how miserable it is.
Speaker 2 (01:01:39):
Yeah. Remember the fire festival?
Speaker 1 (01:01:43):
I can't that was iconic Mike went to jail with.
Speaker 2 (01:01:47):
Him I know is he still in jail? I think
he started a new he's.
Speaker 1 (01:01:55):
Trying to do a new one I would.
Speaker 2 (01:01:57):
Go to the new one you would it'd be popular
to be seen there well Spooky this has been lovely.
Speaker 1 (01:02:06):
This has been lovely. I have to get ready to
decorate my house. We need to get decorating. I feel
like we're not up to par of how we do
it every single year. So we need to get our
shit together.
Speaker 2 (01:02:17):
Yeah, I have to get my ass in gear. I
have a lot of things to get done this week.
I have some recipes I have to make. I have
to film a bunch of content. I have to get
my life in order. I have to find a new bike.
I still haven't gotten a bike.
Speaker 1 (01:02:31):
Wait, update on the bike. All the Crusaders want to know,
is there an update? Where the fuck is Gianni's bike?
Speaker 2 (01:02:37):
Okay, so Detective Alvarez called me yesterday, and she's like
just going over everything. She goes, okay, I'm going over
there today. We're going to get the videos from everything,
and then we'll take it from there. So apparently she
went to go get the videos like two days ago,
but she has not gotten back to me about it.
Imagine it was me that did it. Like I was
blacked out, and I didn't realize it.
Speaker 1 (01:02:57):
Yeah, you were like in psychosis.
Speaker 2 (01:03:00):
Yeah. Oh my God. Imagine it was Poppy. Who do
you think? Imagine it was someone we know.
Speaker 1 (01:03:07):
No, I feel like it would be you and Psychosis
like having an episode and you just throw it in
the Hudson River.
Speaker 2 (01:03:16):
That'd be a priceless video if we can get that.
But yeah, keep your eyes peeled if you see an
eBikeCo EB7. Justice for the bike. Let me know. And
then I got this million dollar helmet sent to me
to go with my bike, but I don't have a
bike now.
Speaker 1 (01:03:31):
So.
Speaker 2 (01:03:33):
Yeah, if you see my bike, let me know. Or
if Uncommon James also makes bikes, send me a candle
and a new bike. Yes, please. But Crusaders, if you
made it this far, sound off in the chat below.
Let us know what you want to see, what you
want to hear, what kind of topics or segments you
would love to see. And Spooky and I are happy
to oblige.
Speaker 1 (01:03:51):
Yes, Queens.
Speaker 2 (01:03:53):
But make sure to get yourself– do something to get
yourself in the spirit this week. Light a pumpkin candle.
Stick a gourd up your ass. Maybe put on candy
corn pasties. Fuck a scarecrow. Do something spooky to let–
Watch the craft. Get yourselves in the mood because we're
(01:04:14):
going to be doing this all month for the foreseeable future. Oh,
we're going to be so annoying. It's spooky season and– oh, wait.
We can finally change the name of the show again.
It's happening with Spooky and Joey now.
Speaker 3 (01:04:28):
Yes.
Speaker 2 (01:04:29):
Spooky. But make sure to follow us. Make sure to
