Hello, Critter Protectors.

Speaker 2 (00:03):

place where there's always a mystery and adventure around every
single corner. If you love critters of all shapes and sizes,
I need you on our Critter Protector team. Join our
adventure as we learn about critters from around the world.

Speaker 1 (00:25):
And in our back yards. Well, my friends, are you
ready for today's adventure? Me too, Let's go. Last time
on Kids Animal Stories, we saw that Captain Klaw and
his entire crew of coconut crabs were sailing across the

(00:48):
deep blue Ocean on their way to try and find
Treasure Island, a place of legendarily rare shells. You see
every coconut crab when they're young, they need to find
a shell that will protect them until they're big enough
and have some ginormous claws to scare off the predators. Well, unfortunately,

(01:09):
while they were stailing across the ocean, old flock of
seagulls that Captain Claw called the Rats of the Sea
began circling overhead. They had to act fast, did not
have time to prepare, but they abandoned ship and jumped
into the big old blue ocean. Arm Mate's just hang

(01:31):
on until we get to the bottom and then we'll
be able to figure out what's going on. They were
all very disoriented as they landed on the sandy bottom
of the ocean. Okay, Captain, what do we know?

Speaker 3 (01:46):
What do we what don't we know?

Speaker 4 (01:51):
Arm mate, It's time we start walking. Our voyage is
not over until we arrive at treasure Eye and find
our magical shells are.

Speaker 1 (02:05):
Captain Claw and his crew of young coconut crabs started
walking along the bottom of the ocean. And that is
another very dangerous place, you see. They thought they escaped
the danger up above it the surface of the water
when the seagulls were being singly. But down at the
bottom there's a whole set of other kinds of predators

(02:29):
that would love to you.

Speaker 3 (02:30):
Know, Captain Octopus looks very hungry and ouh dear, is
that a giant shark iron med down? I think it's
about tide that we get some shells.

Speaker 4 (02:44):
What do you say, captain are there's no way that
we're gonna give up you quite yet, my crew, These
shells here are not special enough for us.

Speaker 1 (02:54):
Spire.

Speaker 5 (02:55):
It's are keep walking, keep walking.

Speaker 1 (03:01):
Captain Claw's crew was not very happy with the you
know instructions that their captain just made them, because there
were a lot of very hungry like the snarks and
octopuses that I think what it ate them. They did
not make it very long before a very hungry barracuda
started barreling down on Captain Claw's crew.

Speaker 4 (03:23):
R take cover, maties, that's hide in the cave right here.

Speaker 1 (03:29):
The entire crew of very young coconut crabs all rushed
into the caves. Their scurrying little legs made it just
in time before the barracuda swam right past them.

Speaker 3 (03:41):
I don't know about you, captain, but I'm gonna find
a shell here that will protect my little booty from
being eaten by a big barracudie.

Speaker 5 (03:51):
Oh, I guess you're right. Oh, this is not how
I had it planned.

Speaker 1 (03:58):
You see, Captain Claw remember he only had one claw,
and he was using that to carry all of his
most prized shiny possessions. And if he was gonna have
to put on a shell, he was gonna have to
leave behind all of his shiny possessions, which was very
hard for a pirate crab to do. After they all

(04:19):
found some very not impressive shells to snug their little booties.
In two they continued on their journey full steam ahead.

Speaker 4 (04:31):
My crew, Now that we protected our booties, we must
go find the booty on Treasure Island are.

Speaker 1 (04:41):
The current then began to shift. Do you know what
the current is inside of an ocean. Yeah, it's kind
of like the highway, or like the fast way to
get around the ocean. And so once you get in
the current, you start cruising through the water. And that's
exactly what happened to Captain Claw and his entire crew

(05:06):
of young coconut crabs. Oh as he shouted and rolled
and tumbled and tumbled, he was completely out of control.
The current of the water was moving him way faster
than he was able to and I think it gave
him a little bit of a tummy egg. Oh oh,

(05:28):
but the other members of his crew turned into surfing crabs. Yes,
it's actually true. Young coconut crabs, when they're moving around,
they can actually start surfing the waves, which is super cool.
I kind of wish I could do that like them.
I don't know how to go surfing. Have you ever

(05:49):
gone surfing before? Oh? Well, they caught some gnarly waves
and found themselves crashing into a ginormous beautiful tide pools.
Oh boy, this is this place. That is beautiful, Captain,
look at all this cool stuff over here. They had

(06:10):
landed in a beautiful tide pool full of the most
amazing critter life I've ever seen before. Octopus and starfish,
baby sharks and colorful fish of all different colors filled
this beautiful tide pool. Have you ever seen a tidepool before?

(06:31):
Full of ocean life? It is an amazing place to explore.
And one thing that I know about tidepools is that
they do not form in the middle of the ocean.
I thought they form right next to an island or
like the shore. Huh, I wonder what shore that they
have just landed on?

Speaker 5 (06:49):
Captain?

Speaker 1 (06:50):
What doll we wait to get to get?

Speaker 5 (06:52):
Captain?

Speaker 1 (06:52):
Are you okay? H that was that?

Speaker 5 (06:56):
It was some gnarly ways there, my crew, Where in
the carnation are we are?

Speaker 1 (07:04):
Captain Claw was very dizzy and very confused from that
rough right end. Well, it looks like we've landed in
a very beautiful place.

Speaker 5 (07:13):
Or what are you talking about? Oh, this is nothing
compared to Treasure Island. She's beautiful and look over there,
there's a ginormous piece of poop just floating around over there,
a piece of.

Speaker 3 (07:26):
What, holy smokes, you're right, that is a giant piece
of Wait a second, it's got eyeballs. I just looked
at Bay.

Speaker 1 (07:37):
I don't know if you know what's going on, but
it sounds very confusing. They just landed in a tidepool
and they thought they saw a ginormous piece of stinky,
but it's actually not. Oh goys, my name's Road, your
name's Rod.

Speaker 5 (07:57):
What kind of uh read?

Speaker 3 (08:00):
Or al?

Speaker 1 (08:02):
I'm a thank you cumber, of course, and welcome to
Treasure Island. And that got Captain Claw's attention.

Speaker 5 (08:12):
Car did you.

Speaker 4 (08:13):
Say treasure Island?

Speaker 1 (08:16):
All right, crew, we're back on the mission. Let's go
find the treasure shells are holy smokes, This has been
quite the wild ride that has landed all of our
coconut crab friends to the actual treasure island they were
looking for. Even though this is the end of our story,

(08:37):
it is just the beginning, I think of their adventure
of finding these very rare treasure shells that they are
searching for the end. Hey, friends, I have something really
exciting that I need your help with. What do you

(08:59):
think of a mister Jim book, like a real life
Mister Jim book. Yeah, turning our stories into books has
been a dream of mine for a long time, and
I think it's about time that we make it happen.
But I really need your help. You see, we need
as many people as possible to say, like, yes, I

(09:22):
will support mister Jim having a book, and so your parents,
I need you to tell your parents right now to
go to mister jimbooks dot com and just to sign
up saying that you support the idea of mister Jim
having a book. That would be so amazing because if
we get enough people to do this, then this book

(09:44):
will actually become a real thing. But it only happens
with your help. So my critit protectors, go tell your
parents that you have to go to mister jimbooks dot
com or clickling down on the show nuts below so
that you can make this book will actually happen. That
would be so awesome and I cannot wait to share

(10:06):
this book with you. Well, friends, I hope you all
have a super duper day and I will see you
on our next adventure. Bye.
