Speaker 1 (00:02):
This is after the show, something you get exclusively by
being a podcast subscriber. So thank you for that.

Speaker 2 (00:06):
You know something that I'm Sam was saying earlier this morning,
when we were talking about things that you made fun
of of your parents for you get made fun of
for now, you said, and your dad would come home
from work and take off his pants and then he
would put on shorts.

Speaker 3 (00:21):
Yeah, but he left on his dark crew socks. Yeah,
with his dress socks right, and his dress shoes.

Speaker 4 (00:28):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (00:28):
Oh really yeah, that's not comfortable. How would he?

Speaker 3 (00:31):
I never understood him. It had to be one of
the first things I'd do when I get home is
kick my shoes off.

Speaker 1 (00:36):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (00:36):
Oh it's like I got you know, so if anything else,
put flip flops on, but it's usually on barefoot.

Speaker 2 (00:42):
What came to my mind when you said that is
that man, that is you know you are home, You
were at home, in your coveted sanctuary space when you
are just rocking whatever. And I have always been fascinated
by people who can answer the door at any given
time the day and look perfectly right. Because literally, when

(01:03):
my when somebody knocks on our door or the doorbell rings,
I totally check myself.

Speaker 3 (01:07):
Oh yeah, there's half. There are times I have to
scramble to find a pair of shorts or are shirt
to put on before I go answer the.

Speaker 1 (01:13):
Door, right, Murphy too, like, yeah, well I don't walk
around without a shirt on. You know, I don't want
to impress everybody constantly. Okay, no, but the.

Speaker 2 (01:22):
You gotta get the guns to yea.

Speaker 1 (01:24):
To me, that's really that is the that's the absolute
clue that you're totally comfortable. It is if you can't
publicly answer the door, but you're comfortable walking around the.

Speaker 2 (01:33):
House like that in your space, you are, You're in
your spot. I always have to check. There's always a
moment of and I have we have a lot of
like the dogs. I got to make sure the dogs
are not going to get out. There's so much more
people that come and knock on our door. Its like
give me five minutes and I'll be right there. But
also with your family, you know, Murphy, whenever we have
gone on trips and we're about to leave, let's say

(01:56):
to go down to the beach or go eat breakfast
at a hotel buffet, and I'm like, are you sure
you want to wear that orange shirt with those red shorts,
you know, and you're like, oh, you're right, because you're
just comfortable with us completely knowing there's no judgment, which
is what's nice.

Speaker 1 (02:12):
You mean wearing that around my family or wearing that
at the buffet.

Speaker 2 (02:14):
At the buffet like we're okay with you doing it
around the family.

Speaker 1 (02:17):
That guy has gone back for eggs three times. And
when you look at the tank top.

Speaker 2 (02:21):
But I care what I mean what we care what
you We don't care what you look like with us,
but I do care when we're out in public.

Speaker 3 (02:29):
Who cares.

Speaker 2 (02:30):
It's true, It's true. Producer, David, you have a roommate,
do you ever have moments of walking to the bathroom?

Speaker 4 (02:37):
Not normally when she's home, but of course like the
other day she wasn't home and I'm walking around just
in my boxers and I hear unlocked the door and
I'm in the kitchen and I'm like, hey, how's it going.

Speaker 1 (02:48):
That's real comfort there

Speaker 2 (02:49):
David, miss any part of the show at Murphy Salmon
