have is that I'm having a grandchild in less than

the stuff because the reason we brought this up to
Bail is because you went to Sammy and his wife's
Amazon registry baby registry and you're like, wow, there's so
much new and baby. There's so much new stuff and babies.

Yeah. And the stroller that I found and this is
not on their registry, but it's just so it's got
an electric feeding bottle warmer and electric rocking mattress. The
it's got a webcam in it.
Speaker 4 (00:58):
And it's too much.

And it's because the stroller it can it can go
by itself self propulsion. So I guess if you're like
jogging or walking, and yes, it can just roll right along.

The side a jogging stroller and you had to sort
of push it, but it was easier when you were dogging,
so because it would just kind of go with you.

Now you can push it, you can let it go
self propelled, or you can do the assisted kind of
like an assistant lawn more.

You know, I'm easily enticed by that stuff. You both
know that I'm easily enticed by that kind of stuff.

Learned, you know, is that the problem with any technology
is eventually becomes outdated. And it seems like that happens
even faster never has before, you know. I mean, I've
got a closet full of things that you know, don't
matter anymore. I finally actually got rid of the little
telephone modem you push you know, wow, aol Man you've

got mail. Yeah, in that kind of stuff. But any computer,
any camera, any anything. It's just like your phone. I mean,
what your phone is going to last you maybe three years,
and it's time to get a new one. So by
the time pushing it, by the time you get the
stroller that's got all the bells and whistles, and the
next kid comes along, it's gonna be out of date.
And a stroller is a stroller, right, I think I
don't think.

It's overkill for all of this.

Just but again, I know I say this in so
many things, but just because you can do something with
technology doesn't mean you need to or should if you
make the world better.

Yes, well you know I'm.

Starting to learn this. But the instant pot too, right now,
the extra pot, instant pot, it is becoming an extra
pot because some of the recipes you look up, not
instant because my whole the primitive what they've sold. They've
done a great job selling these, because to me, instant
pot means you dump it all in like a crock
pot and you press a button and boom, you got it.

Well, it just means it's a pressure cooker.

It's a pressure cooker.

Well, that's the thing. And that's not a new technology.
This is a This is a very old technology with
little push buttons on the front of it.

Yeah, And because it's like some of the recipes have
looked up, you got to saute it in the pot,
or you got to prepare the stuff before you put
it in the pot, or you put this part in
there and then you take it out, you put the
rest of it in and it's like, there's nothing instant
about this.

It's having to learn a new way to cook actually,
but it is there. It's really cool some of the
things that can do. Yeah, so it just spends on
how much you have stream water technology or not.

Going back to the baby, the stroller is.

What I mean, So I don't understand why is there
a webcam on this thing?

Webcam is actually in Okay, So let's say the stroller
is walking ahead of you five feet or to the side,
and you're not actually when you're pushing a stroller, you're
looking down into it to see what your baby's doing.
You should be This is like in the canopy over
the baby, and where the baby's like sitting, it's in
the canopy over its head. Yeah, so that it's shooting
down on them. So if you want to see if
your baby.

If you're not paying it, you're crying, why is he crying?
Speaker 3 (03:38):
Instead of walking around to the front, you can look
at your phone and say, oh, I see it in
the webcam. Hes pacifier fell out.
Speaker 2 (03:44):
I guess there are instances where that could be very helpful.
But then again, watch your baby. It's even got to
spend the time with your baby because it's the short,
short season.
Speaker 3 (03:53):
It's got light signals on it too, I guess, because
it's self propelled. It's got a blinker and everything. You
should have blinkers. Blinkers.
Speaker 5 (04:00):
Yeah, the blinkers are the one part of the stroller
that I can really get behind. Okay, but a lot
of this really just seems to be like you, yeah,
you you decked out or you pimped out a stroller,
you know, with these custom features, and really you don't
need most of them. You don't need a webcam, you
don't need a self propelled stroller. You don't need a
stroller that can fold in on itself with power hydraulics,

because that that just sounds like a baby death.

You've never stroller, have you?

No? I have not, yea, but everyone automatically Yeah.

Nice, let's let's do this and we will open this

next week. Going back to when you had babies, I
can tell you as a mom at when I was
at home and then when I was back to work.
One of the most, uh thing, the things that I
use the most, the thing that I loved and use

the most as a new mom. Once I figured it out,
because you know me, I have very little patience. Was
that snuggy thing that's nuggy well whatever thing that strapped
her to my body? Because Phoebe, our second child, was
always on me on my hip, like she wanted to
be with me constantly. So I was cooking dinner with

that kid on my hip. You know if I put
her downes that the one that kind of goes over
your shoulders, several different ones. But that is a good
gift for a mom who needs to do stuff in
the house but needs needs her hands.
Speaker 1 (05:23):
It's a great gift, but you're only going to use
it for eighteen months.
Speaker 2 (05:26):
Maybe it's true, but it was good at that time,
you know, because how many times did I have to
just before I could figure it out because the one
we got was kind of hard to I couldn't do it.
I couldn't put it on myself. Remember, you had to
come home and put it on me so I could
go clean the kitchen or whatever.
Speaker 1 (05:40):
But you know what, maybe you should clip a webcam
to that baby too. That way you can look forward
and not have to look down.

You know. The thing is too. Things like that you
can repurpose after the baby's grown.

I think if you're outside and you're having to pick
up a lot of things, or if you're grocery.

Shopping, you know, you say that, but you're not going
to do that, so, you know, because that makes you

Sam what did she register for it? Can you say
what you got? What you want to had bought or
did you not?

Yeah? I got for now, I bought the I bought
the mattress.

It was a really nice crib mattress.

It's some fancy mattress. And I got some onesies, and
I got a couple other little non expensive things, you know,
stuff that you I know they're going to experience, they're
gonna need right off the bat.

Right, things they might might not even know they need,
like those little suctions.

We had talked ahead of time, Sammy and Melissa and
I about Okay, what big hasn't been bought yet? What
do you need? And then the mattress was like the
last big thing. Some of the other stuff that they
want like the bass of that and all. It's like, well,
we got to have have the baby, get the baby home.
See how we're going to use the bassinet. We'll get
the best of that.

I'll tell you my favorite piece of technology, even though
it's been around for a long time, but it's you know, evolved,
is the baby monitor. Yeah, because I mean that's one
to me that you you absolutely do need if you're
gonna get some peace of mind and sleep yourself, you
want to be able to, you know, look at a
screen and say, okay, she's okay. That was awesome and
so you know, and fortunately, I mean those has been
around for a while. We had the one with the

screen for both Taylor and Phoebe and it worked well.
Speaker 3 (07:10):
When Sammy was let a list was so long ago,
we had just the audio kind and would pick up
truckers if they got nearby. You know, it's like, what
was that? Was that? Sammy?

That is so cool?

So final question about the new baby that's coming into
your life, sam do you know the what's the plan
for the day of Can you be there? Will you
be one of the first people to hold him or her?

No, I haven't no, but I'm sure i'll be told that.
I don't mean that in the mean way, but it's
like they have their plan. Sure of course, I'm just
gonna go with the flowe. I'm not going to say,
you know, I really would like to hold the baby first.

Because her mom will probably be the one to hold

there's nothing like it. You think you know how you're
going to feel because you've had children before. Apparently there's
something extra special about it being your child. Now having
a child, and what this child is going to mean

That because like you can play with it and give
it back.

I don't know exactly, that's what you're always jokingly hear people.

You'll have to tell us after February.

The thing, I'm looking forward to it now. If there
comes a time where they need me the babysit overnight,
I'm actually looking forward to that. Yes, because I don't
see a problem with it.

much as a stroller that has a webcam and is

And self folding too.
