pops up. It's called a Wi Fi endoscope, and it's
a little cam, a little camera on the end of
a wire and then you can hook it up to
your laptop or your phone or your tablet or whatever reason.

can snake it down anywhere and see.

to fix what they call puck lights underneath the cabinet,
and it was very narrow space. I couldn't see up there,

It would be to hold the light if I could
find something to go in there.

The old school boy would be saying, Babe, can you
come hold this light for me for two seconds.

No, you can't get the light up in there. I
mean it's it's a it's as tall. There's no way to.

Actually, the truth about this, Sam, the reason I bought
it is because do you remember when you know, two
summers ago, when the rat got in my car and
right for everything, And so the guy who was telling me, yeah, man,

little snake camera kind of a thing like that. I'm like,
I need one of them.

You know, as a lot of people when we started
watching Breaking Bad the TV show and binging it, a
lot of well a lot of my girlfriends were like, wow,

did not in the first episode of a person a
little cont just as a character, the Jesse Pinkman character.

And you and I were late to that party, Jody
by a couple of years.

We were very late to it. But it doesn't matter.
We finished it. We binge that show like it was
our job. Ridiculousness. It was so binge worthy. So Aaron Paul,
who played Jesse Pinkman, he was at this big film
festival over the weekend, and no matter what he's working on,
you know what questions come his way Breaking Bad movie?
What can you tell us? What do you know? Well,
he must be under some serious orders not to speak

about it at all, because all he said was that
there are a lot of rumors flying around, but rumors
are funny. He said, I once heard I was being
cast as Han Solo. Muhah. He says that he can't
really talk about the fact that there may or may
not be a breaking bad movie in the works, but
he really wants to be a part of it. I'm
thinking the movie. Yeah, he didn't say a darn thing

except that, Hey, if you're not caught up on the series,
you got to know if there is a movie, it
has to star me. Basically, he's saying, hello, the other
guy didn't make it. It's allegedly he's saying that, but
he must. I mean, we know that it's been confirmed
that it's coming and that they're working on it, but
he didn't confirm anything about his involvement, which I felt like,
I need to hear that it's the Jesse story doing

He also had to probably sign things in triplicate. You know,
I will not share I will not share it.

I know he's really talented and super you know, wonderful,

to uh, I can't help but talk about the Jonas brothers.

is the one with that beautiful falsetto right there that
you hear, Yeah, it's perfection. And he is also the
one who is now married to Prianca Chopra.

Who has a nice falsetto too, he says.

And you may pick this up in music news soon,
Sam that he says, they may collaborate together and produce
some music because she has a beautiful voice too, and
that there's a lot of singing and dancing in their homes,
so why not. I don't know she was a singer,
he says, he can definitely, she's definitely a looker.

So maybe there's something there. Or maybe we'll get to
hear her sing on the documentary, because the Jonas brothers

You know, we were talking about not snoozing, like to
sleep better and get yourself in a better schedule that
you should not snooze. I'm like, okay, fine, I'll stop
snoozing and I'll get up thing, which I did this morning.

What I snoozed once for five minutes, And you know,
I don't know how this happened. In those five minutes
when I snoozed back out, I dreamt about a steak,
not a snake. I dreamed about a steak.

You really went back into rim sleep for five minutes,
and supposedly that's not.
Speaker 1 (06:16):
Possible unless I was kind of like, just I don't
know why I wasn't actively craving a steak. I just
was like, wow, this is like you are. And then
my alarm went off again.

Okay, so I'm reading all this stuff and you know
what else I came across. You know how much I
love night lights? Yeah, I say that because I have.
I had a really sweet night light when I was
a little girl that my uncle Roy gave me as
a gift. Once, Murphy, you don't know this. It was ceramic,
and it was really pretty and feminine looking, and there
was a little I don't know, indention in the top
(06:45):
where you're supposed to put like oil or perfume oil
or something like that to make your whole room smell great.
Speaker 3 (06:51):
And this was like one of those little ones then, huh.
It's like a little one you plug into the wall.
Speaker 2 (06:56):
You plug in into the wall. It was It looked
like the size of a small lamp, but it was
a night light and it just made me feel precious.
It was beautiful. It lit up my room with a
soft light night light, and I like to sleep. I
love it for children who need that soothing thing.

Well, you know I have a night light obsession kind.
Speaker 2 (07:13):
Of you do, but that's for safety reasons. All over
the house, right.
Speaker 1 (07:17):
I mean to me, they're led, they don't burn a
whole lot of electricity, you know, I mean, they're any
any walkway is covered, so you know, no matter where
you go in the night, what's up, it's like going
down the runway.
Speaker 2 (07:27):
Yeah, sleep with the night lights.
Speaker 3 (07:29):
Nown I have them in the house. I don't have
them in my room. My room I want pitch black.
I even have those darkening curtains and everything so nothing
can get in.
Speaker 2 (07:36):
Well, apparently you're doing it right.
Speaker 3 (07:38):
But outside of my room, like in the kitchen and
elsewhere in the.
Speaker 2 (07:40):
House, that's smart. Okay, So yeah, According to the National
Sleep Foundation, sleeping in the dark lights out is better
for a good night's sleep. It messes with your natural rhythms,
It messes with your body's ability to produce melatonin and
all this stuff. So it's like, really, I've been We've
been doing it wrong. We're snoozing, Murphy, and we gotta
we have a little We keep a night light in
the bathroom.
Speaker 1 (08:01):
It's in the bathroom. We don't have a night light
in our room, but I think there's enough light that
comes to our bedroom windows at night that it lights
the room up a little.

I don't see how just a little night light's gonna
screw with your sleeping though.

about halfway through.

tell you what's up. I recommended that because it spoke
to me immediately. I thought, Oh, the dog nar rates
I'm in because it's so different and it is beautiful,
but my here's the deal. Here's the reason I haven't
finished it. I have a dog who's on her last
legs right now, so to speak. She's thirteen, and I

Within three days of actually adopting Hank, he was gone
for two weeks. It was hard and it was Yeah,
that was a nightmare and a half and I really
didn't enjoy that. And then I got him back for
another three four weeks I think, right, Yeah, I don't
know how long that was. But then he got out again.
This time instead of being let out by a roommate,
he was We were actually on a walk and he

ran away while we were on the walk.

How'd he get away from you? Did you accidentally put
the leash down? Is that what happened?
Speaker 8 (12:29):
No, I was holding the leash and he got scared
and it he just yanked away from my Instead of.

It being around your wrist, you just had it in
your hand.

Yeah. Yeah, So when he ran somebody said that they
saw him like two hours after I had started seen him. Yeah,
and that was the last time that he was seen
for another week. Come okay, but last night got a

call and they said the person on the other end
of the line said that Hank is in my backyard
and they gave me their address, and that address was
across the street from my house.
Speaker 1 (13:08):
Oh yeah, he.
Speaker 2 (13:11):
He just loves the gallivant, he really does. He just
loves to hang around and run around and be free.
Speaker 1 (13:17):
Maybe you should consider renting him instead of owning.

Okay, so you go. Is he hungry, is he dirty?
Is he happy to see you? What's the deal?

He was whenever I actually went into their backyard and
I approached him, I had to be very very gentle
about it because he was just back and forth in
the backyard. He looked like he was about to go
back into the ditch where he was coming from. It
was really it was difficult, but I believe.

new game with him.

I think today I'm going to go get him more

college students doing whatever it takes to get into the
schools of their choice. And he's like, you know, we've

are trying to think of a better way to kind
of promote that now in light of this news about

Felicity Huffman and Lori Laughlin among others. Yeah, up to
date with Judy's Hollywood Outsider on the way on your
next outside are around seven fifty five. Tarn Edgerton, who
plays Elton John and the new rocket Man Biopick, debuted
the first twenty minutes of the film last night. Tell
you about what that very picky audience thought, Sam, you

recently said that is it Jackson or is it Parker
that's taking a foreign language? And you were like, why
they were taking Latin and you Parker's taking Latin, okay,
And you were confused about his choice to do that.

I think he was forced to because he had, however,
many years from language immersion at the French school. So
it's like, are they going to let him take French
where he can ace it? Yeah, they're gonna make him
take Latin.

See to me, it would be the other way around,
where he can continue to you know, actually embrace and
use the language. That's where I was to.

Be the dad to walk into school and have an

bring it up because our Phoebe, who starts high school
next year, has not taken her foreign language credit check.
She just hasn't done it yet. And we thought. I
always thought she would do French because she seemed interested
in and at one point I thought, okay, well and
she's picking out her schedule and so she did not
go for French. Guess what she is taking starting in

all next year.

Latin, No Chinese, no Spanish, No, Okay, I'm out German.

Oh. I'm excited to watch her do this. I'm also
nervous because I assume it's really difficult. I don't think anything,
you know what I mean. I think it's probably going
to be a challenge.

Well, any foreign language is a challenge, but one some
of them are you understand where they come from? Sure
you can figure out languages.

Yeah. She's always been super interested in World War two
history and all of that. So that's where it's like,
I want to take German.

Well, the French were in World War two as.

Well, just telling you, Okay, she's always been interested in
the Germany and the German aspect of it and all
all that happened there. So that's why she's taking German soon,
so maybe we'll well, some of it will rub off

you're next. We're admitting our parenting fails this week, and

three one zero for M. S. J. Chances are your

kids forget about it, but you don't know for some reason?

Yeah? So what it was is, you know, when you
have kids, your car seat, the back of your car
is always a mess. Yeah, and a disaster. So one weekend,
it was a nice weekend, so I took the car
seats out, you know, vacuumed out. I have one of
those four door trucks. I vacuumed out the back of
my truck. Yeah, cleaned out, vacuumed out all the car seat,
(20:21):
you know, cleaned everything up nice and neat. So then
Sunday we go to get in the truck and I
buckle her in, you know, do that five point harness,
got the chest harness all and everything's alf that. We
get in the truck to go, and the first corner
when I start to turning out of the neighborhood, I
just hear in the back seat, whoa. I turned around
and she's laying sideways. I forgot to buckle the car

seat back into the actual seat.

Yeah, baby, yeah, I know.

And that's the thing I feel so bad about it
is it's like, you know, it's kind of funny because yeah,
she's whoa. It's like if we had been at a wreck,
I didn't have her, Like, yeah.

She'll bring it up every once in a while. I
don't know if she remembers it because you know, I
told her story, or she actually remembers it happening. But yeah,
she'll remind me every once in a while.

the ponies at the carnival thing, they don't she remembers
the story, not the event. So I feel like I
got out of that one okay, because you don't want

the bikes, and the older one flew over the handlebars
and hit his shoulder. He's fourteen. He came in crying.

We're unpacking for the next couple of days and he's

still saying, mom, it's still hurts. Oh, so asked her
about three days. I said to him, Michael, what does
it look like? So he took a shirt off, because
at fourteen, if you don't look at your son, and
he took his shirt off and there's this huge lump
in his shoulder and we realized he had actually broken
his collar bone and had been walking around for three

days when he was broken collarbones.

Whow you felt horrible? I know it?

And he had not really said much, just that it ate.
Then he could move the arm. But when we went

Sam. I have discovered a smart speaker conundrum, you know,
a little problem. Whether it's whether it's Google or you know, Alexa,

Yeah, well, you know it's these apps that you know,
do the white noise or thunderstorms or you know, streams
or things that help you go to sleep. I love
those because they'll play forever, and I don't know, it
just kind of soothing. The problem is if Jody goes
to sleep before me and I haven't turned that on yet,
no matter how low I speak to turn it on,

it wakes Jody up. I'm like, you know, play fan sounds,
you know, and then Jody's that way and I can't
seem to control it from the app you know itself.
That goes with it.

So I'm like, you know, you know what, if I'm
going to go to sleep before you, I should just
tell it. I should turn it on. Truly falls back
on me.

I mean, I realized, in the grand scheme of life,

be complaining about.

a little cam, a little camera on the end of
a wire and then you can hook it up to
your laptop or your phone or your tablet or whatever reason.

I need one of them.

You know, as a lot of people when we started
watching Breaking Bad the TV show and binging it, a
lot of well a lot of my girlfriends were like, wow,
Aaron Paul, We're in love with Aaron Paul, like I
did not in the first episode of a person a
little cont just as a character, the Jesse Pinkman character.

And you and I were late to that party, Jody
by a couple of years.
Speaker 2 (03:21):
We were very late to it. But it doesn't matter.
We finished it. We binge that show like it was
our job. Ridiculousness. It was so binge worthy. So Aaron Paul,
who played Jesse Pinkman, he was at this big film
festival over the weekend, and no matter what he's working on,
you know what questions come his way Breaking Bad movie?
What can you tell us? What do you know? Well,
he must be under some serious orders not to speak

about it at all, because all he said was that
there are a lot of rumors flying around, but rumors
are funny. He said, I once heard I was being
cast as Han Solo. Muhah. He says that he can't
really talk about the fact that there may or may
not be a breaking bad movie in the works, but
he really wants to be a part of it. I'm
thinking the movie. Yeah, he didn't say a darn thing

except that, Hey, if you're not caught up on the series,
you got to know if there is a movie, it
has to star me. Basically, he's saying, hello, the other
guy didn't make it. It's allegedly he's saying that, but
he must. I mean, we know that it's been confirmed
that it's coming and that they're working on it, but
he didn't confirm anything about his involvement, which I felt like,
I need to hear that it's the Jesse story doing

a great job of that.

He also had to probably sign things in triplicate. You know,
I will not share I will not share it.

I know he's really talented and super you know, wonderful,
but I really need I want to see him as

to uh, I can't help but talk about the Jonas brothers.
As often as possible. I'm a super That new song
and video so great. Okay, So you know, Nick Jonas
is the one with that beautiful falsetto right there that
you hear, Yeah, it's perfection. And he is also the
one who is now married to Prianca Chopra.

Who has a nice falsetto too, he says.

And you may pick this up in music news soon,
Sam that he says, they may collaborate together and produce
some music because she has a beautiful voice too, and
that there's a lot of singing and dancing in their homes,
so why not. I don't know she was a singer,
he says, he can definitely, she's definitely a looker.

So maybe there's something there. Or maybe we'll get to
hear her sing on the documentary, because the Jonas brothers

You know, we were talking about not snoozing, like to
sleep better and get yourself in a better schedule that
you should not snooze. I'm like, okay, fine, I'll stop
snoozing and I'll get up thing, which I did this morning.

What I snoozed once for five minutes, And you know,
I don't know how this happened. In those five minutes
when I snoozed back out, I dreamt about a steak,
not a snake. I dreamed about a steak.

You really went back into rim sleep for five minutes,
and supposedly that's not.
Speaker 1 (06:16):
Possible unless I was kind of like, just I don't
know why I wasn't actively craving a steak. I just
was like, wow, this is like you are. And then
my alarm went off again.

Okay, so I'm reading all this stuff and you know
what else I came across. You know how much I
love night lights? Yeah, I say that because I have.
I had a really sweet night light when I was
a little girl that my uncle Roy gave me as
a gift. Once, Murphy, you don't know this. It was ceramic,
and it was really pretty and feminine looking, and there
was a little I don't know, indention in the top
(06:45):
where you're supposed to put like oil or perfume oil
or something like that to make your whole room smell great.
Speaker 3 (06:51):
And this was like one of those little ones then, huh.
It's like a little one you plug into the wall.
Speaker 2 (06:56):
You plug in into the wall. It was It looked
like the size of a small lamp, but it was
a night light and it just made me feel precious.
It was beautiful. It lit up my room with a
soft light night light, and I like to sleep. I
love it for children who need that soothing thing.
Speaker 1 (07:11):
Well, you know I have a night light obsession kind.
Speaker 2 (07:13):
Of you do, but that's for safety reasons. All over
the house, right.
Speaker 1 (07:17):
I mean to me, they're led, they don't burn a
whole lot of electricity, you know, I mean, they're any
any walkway is covered, so you know, no matter where
you go in the night, what's up, it's like going
down the runway.
Speaker 2 (07:27):
Yeah, sleep with the night lights.
Speaker 3 (07:29):
Nown I have them in the house. I don't have
them in my room. My room I want pitch black.
I even have those darkening curtains and everything so nothing
can get in.

Well, apparently you're doing it right.
Speaker 3 (07:38):
But outside of my room, like in the kitchen and
elsewhere in the.
Speaker 2 (07:40):
House, that's smart. Okay, So yeah, According to the National
Sleep Foundation, sleeping in the dark lights out is better
for a good night's sleep. It messes with your natural rhythms,
It messes with your body's ability to produce melatonin and
all this stuff. So it's like, really, I've been We've
been doing it wrong. We're snoozing, Murphy, and we gotta
we have a little We keep a night light in
the bathroom.
Speaker 1 (08:01):
It's in the bathroom. We don't have a night light
in our room, but I think there's enough light that
comes to our bedroom windows at night that it lights
the room up a little.

I don't see how just a little night light's gonna
screw with your sleeping though.

Within three days of actually adopting Hank, he was gone
for two weeks. It was hard and it was Yeah,
that was a nightmare and a half and I really
didn't enjoy that. And then I got him back for
another three four weeks I think, right, Yeah, I don't
know how long that was. But then he got out again.
This time instead of being let out by a roommate,
he was We were actually on a walk and he

ran away while we were on the walk.

How'd he get away from you? Did you accidentally put
the leash down? Is that what happened?
Speaker 8 (12:29):
No, I was holding the leash and he got scared
and it he just yanked away from my Instead of.

It being around your wrist, you just had it in
your hand.

Yeah. Yeah, So when he ran somebody said that they
saw him like two hours after I had started seen him. Yeah,
and that was the last time that he was seen
for another week. Come okay, but last night got a

call and they said the person on the other end
of the line said that Hank is in my backyard
and they gave me their address, and that address was
across the street from my house.
Speaker 1 (13:08):
Oh yeah, he.
Speaker 2 (13:11):
He just loves the gallivant, he really does. He just
loves to hang around and run around and be free.
Speaker 1 (13:17):
Maybe you should consider renting him instead of owning.

Okay, so you go. Is he hungry, is he dirty?
Is he happy to see you? What's the deal?
Speaker 1 (13:26):

He was whenever I actually went into their backyard and
I approached him, I had to be very very gentle
about it because he was just back and forth in
the backyard. He looked like he was about to go
back into the ditch where he was coming from. It
was really it was difficult, but I believe.

new game with him.

I think today I'm going to go get him more

recently said that is it Jackson or is it Parker
that's taking a foreign language? And you were like, why
they were taking Latin and you Parker's taking Latin, okay,
And you were confused about his choice to do that.

I think he was forced to because he had, however,
many years from language immersion at the French school. So
it's like, are they going to let him take French
where he can ace it? Yeah, they're gonna make him
take Latin.

See to me, it would be the other way around,
where he can continue to you know, actually embrace and
use the language. That's where I was to.

Be the dad to walk into school and have an

always thought she would do French because she seemed interested
in and at one point I thought, okay, well and
she's picking out her schedule and so she did not
go for French. Guess what she is taking starting in

all next year.

Latin, No Chinese, no Spanish, No, Okay, I'm out German.

Oh. I'm excited to watch her do this. I'm also
nervous because I assume it's really difficult. I don't think anything,

Well, any foreign language is a challenge, but one some
of them are you understand where they come from? Sure
you can figure out languages.

Yeah. She's always been super interested in World War two
history and all of that. So that's where it's like,
I want to take German.

Well, the French were in World War two as.

Well, just telling you, Okay, she's always been interested in
the Germany and the German aspect of it and all
all that happened there. So that's why she's taking German soon,
so maybe we'll well, some of it will rub off

kids forget about it, but you don't know for some reason?

Yeah? So what it was is, you know, when you
have kids, your car seat, the back of your car
is always a mess. Yeah, and a disaster. So one weekend,
it was a nice weekend, so I took the car
seats out, you know, vacuumed out. I have one of
those four door trucks. I vacuumed out the back of
my truck. Yeah, cleaned out, vacuumed out all the car seat,
(20:21):
you know, cleaned everything up nice and neat. So then
Sunday we go to get in the truck and I
buckle her in, you know, do that five point harness,
got the chest harness all and everything's alf that. We
get in the truck to go, and the first corner
when I start to turning out of the neighborhood, I
just hear in the back seat, whoa. I turned around
and she's laying sideways. I forgot to buckle the car
(20:46):
seat back into the actual seat.
Speaker 2 (20:49):
Yeah, baby, yeah, I know.
Speaker 4 (20:54):
And that's the thing I feel so bad about it
is it's like, you know, it's kind of funny because yeah,
she's whoa. It's like if we had been at a wreck,
I didn't have her, Like, yeah.

Does she remember it? Is the question.

She'll bring it up every once in a while. I
don't know if she remembers it because you know, I
told her story, or she actually remembers it happening. But yeah,
she'll remind me every once in a while.

That's the thing for me, Like my biggest one with
the ponies at the carnival thing, they don't she remembers
the story, not the event. So I feel like I
got out of that one okay, because you don't want
to hurt them, you know.

Oh yeah, it's one of those learning experiences now. So
it's like, you know, I always make sure that whenever
I take the car seats out, well, they're old enough
now that they don't have to have the full of course,
not car seat, it is just the little booster seats.

Know you did that sort. One time I walked outside,
the back door was wide open. I thought, was she
throwing a fit when you brought her in and you
just forgot to close the door, like good thing? It

We were packing a moving track moving into our house
we had purchased, and we told our two sons to
go take their bikes.

They proceeded to ride around and hit each other with
the bikes, and the older one flew over the handlebars
and hit his shoulder. He's fourteen. He came in crying.
I put ice on it. I gave him tilon always
said can you move it? And he moved the arm
all around. So we said, okay, you probably just banged it.
We're unpacking for the next couple of days and he's

still saying, mom, it's still hurts. Oh, so asked her
about three days. I said to him, Michael, what does
it look like? So he took a shirt off, because
at fourteen, if you don't look at your son, and
he took his shirt off and there's this huge lump
in his shoulder and we realized he had actually broken
his collar bone and had been walking around for three

days when he was broken collarbones.
Speaker 2 (26:50):
Whow you felt horrible? I know it?
Speaker 6 (26:55):
Oh I did?
Speaker 2 (26:56):
Oh my god, I really did.
Speaker 6 (26:57):
And he had not really said much, just that it ate.
Then he could move the arm. But when we went
on the doctor he said, that's that's normal for a
color bone.

Wow.

They had to put him in his little collarbone harness
and horse.
Speaker 5 (27:09):
Yeah.
Speaker 6 (27:09):
I haven't lived that one down.

just like Sam forgetting Jackson the other day, there was

different than type two. You know, type two you can
usually take medicine and that GM.

Yeah, I mean I'm I'm hooked up and recharged on
a regular basis.

Yeah, and so we Something we've had to do forever
is keep You have to keep stuff to treat with,
to treat low blood blood sugar with nearby.

Yeah, because when you manually give insulin, there's always a
chance that if you don't eat in time, or you
exercise or you know whatever, I mean, it's there's going
to be you know, if we exercise.
Speaker 2 (28:56):
I'm joking, sweetie.

Anyway, you need to be prepared.
Speaker 2 (28:58):
So the thing is We've been married for a long
time now, twenty years. I know when I go to
the grocery store, I usually if I'm walking past the
aisle with all the sugary drinks, I'm like, I'm buying
something so he has something to treat with. Yeah, lately
it's been sweedish fish.

Yeah, the reason I switched to those is because they're
easier to carry. When you get on a plane, you
can't go through security with liquid, so you know, it's
just it's portable, it's there, and I can keep them everywhere.

You tried sour patch kids for a while, and I
love those, but they were tearing up your mouth or something.
Speaker 1 (29:28):
Well, we need a whole Apparently we need a whole
bag of them. Yeah, exactly. The acid can eat away.
I was wondering why. It's like, God, my tongue is
killing me.
Speaker 2 (29:39):
Oh, I actually, grocery sugar number is just I actually
grocery shop the other day instead of ordering it and
picking it up and something that it was okay, I
was on the candy aisle and I'm thinking, let me
get him some more sweedish fish, and I'm looking It's
like there's so many options. I mean, don't you want
something else right now? Jelly beans are all over the place.
Wouldn't jelly beans work?

I don't know. I mean I know how to count

the new Elton John biopic called rocket Man coming out
and starring Taron Edgerton.

All right, it's yeah. I didn't like that because I thought, wait,
this is supposed to be about Elton celebrating Elton's music.
And I didn't understand that until I learned that Tarren
Edgerton is the was the gorilla and the animated movie
sing and what did he sing? Elton? I mean, listen

Pretty good for a gorilla.
Speaker 2 (31:50):
I love that movie.

That's one of my favorite animated movies to come out

the movie is debuting in theaters May thirty first, called Rocketman.

There are moments in a rock star's life not to
find who he is. Where there was darkness, there is
no you.

All right, So Elton John one percent, Elton John one
hundred percent involved in this and apparently told Tarin from
the beginning, don't mimic me, just do it in your
own style. You don't don't try to mimic me. And
those close to Elton say that he's captured it. It's
not mimicky, but he has captured it. And you understand

this movie not only because of the subject matter, you know,
an interest really interesting life, but coming off the heels
of Bohemian Rhapsody, we know that musical biopics can do
big things at the box.

So Taron Adgerson, along with a lot of others, debuted
the first twenty minutes of footage from Rocketman last night
at the Troubadour Club in la which is interesting because
It was the first place that Elton played in the
United States. The first twenty minutes, surrounded by like music
industry and music journalist and all that, and everybody loved it.

he got lost while I was taking him out for
a walk, so I first I got to get some

Well, they have a new deal called for five bucks
a month. It's like a coffee club for five bucks
a month and you download the Burger King app. You
can go in once a day and get a free
cup of coffee. Okay, well you pay the five dollars,
so it's fine. It works out the light seventeen cents
a day, got it coffee?

That's not bad if you're a Burger King if you
go to Burger King every day. Yeah, yeah, not bad
at all.

Well, I mean maybe other restaurants or Starbucks type places
will start picking up on this. You know, you pay
a monthly fee and you go in and you enjoy
one cup a day.

Yeah, or a couple of con service thing. It works
for businesses nice. As a consumer, you have to know
if you sign up for something like that that you
really have to use it for you to get your
money's worth. Otherwise you're signing up for something and.

Yeah, they gotcha. And it's one of those things where
it doesn't roll over. So if you don't use today's coffee,
it's not like tomorrow you have two coffee you don't
build up a good I've had seventy three coffees here.

I like them today BLUs load of people and.

Sam. I have discovered a smart speaker conundrum, you know,
a little problem. Whether it's whether it's Google or you know, Alexa,
what ichever you use it.
Speaker 2 (40:07):
We use both. Here might be the conundrum.
Speaker 1 (40:09):
Yeah, well, you know it's these apps that you know,
do the white noise or thunderstorms or you know, streams
or things that help you go to sleep. I love
those because they'll play forever, and I don't know, it
just kind of soothing. The problem is if Jody goes
to sleep before me and I haven't turned that on yet,
no matter how low I speak to turn it on,
(40:29):
it wakes Jody up. I'm like, you know, play fan sounds,
you know, and then Jody's that way and I can't
seem to control it from the app you know itself.
That goes with it.
Speaker 2 (40:39):
So I'm like, you know, you know what, if I'm
going to go to sleep before you, I should just
tell it. I should turn it on. Truly falls back
on me.
Speaker 1 (40:48):
I mean, I realized, in the grand scheme of life,
this is not a problem. That's not major this should
be this, This shouldn't even be something I should probably
be complaining about.
Speaker 3 (40:57):
But there's got to be a way on the app
to do that. I would think, quietly, silent.

I don't know. I kept myself awake all night trying
