Speaker 1 (00:03):
And today is that I can't believe it day?

Speaker 2 (00:05):
What can't you.

Speaker 1 (00:06):
Believeday that Taylor's birthdays? Our oldest daughter eight is eighteen today,
and do you know that her cousin actually had his
birthday yesterday? They're almost the same age. Jody and my
nephew's mom were in the same hospital at the same time,
not the same room.

Speaker 3 (00:22):
Yeah, your parents were there like for forty eight hours
waiting for it us to be born.

Speaker 2 (00:26):
Was it a race?

Speaker 3 (00:27):
No, I wish it had been a race. I labored
for so long. Yeah, it's just she's the kid that
came along and made us parents the biggest life change ever.
So you think coming into our lives.

Speaker 1 (00:38):
It's tough to believe that you have that eighteen year
old young adult voice now when it used to be
this who. It's really funny.

Speaker 3 (00:51):
Is that kind of squeezed my heart out of my chest?

Speaker 1 (00:53):
That's Taylor and Phoebe. Yeah, I ten years ago, maybe.

Speaker 3 (00:57):
Probably ten years ago. Yeah, So happy birthday eighteen and
she's been waiting for this day. There's a lot of
dancing around and prancing around, so.

Speaker 1 (01:06):
She's mostly legal.

Speaker 3 (01:09):
Yeah, well, at dinner tonight, we'll just explain to her
here's what you can do, here's what you can do,
and here's what you can can do under our roof. Okay,
lots of fun coming up. More first day of school
advice from teachers and parents who've done this a million times.
We love hearing these ideas from you, Hollywood outsider on

zero four six seven five, or you can jump in
on Facebook or Instagram.

Speaker 4 (01:44):
It's done for the Producer's nailed.

Speaker 5 (01:46):
What do you have in that back today, Chad Well, Jody,
Today is your daughter Taylor's birthday.

Speaker 3 (01:51):
Yes, she is eighteen today. We I can't believe it.
Still she's making sure we know it for sure.

Speaker 5 (01:57):
But you guys posted about cheesecake and toppings that you
did for her birthday.

Speaker 3 (02:01):
Yeah, well, when the family came over, she's not about
cake and ice cream as much, but she's about cheesecakes.
What kind of did a cheesecake bar and topping thing
got to go over. How do you think it went over.

Speaker 1 (02:12):
The best part of it actually is that there was
one full cheesecake left over.

Speaker 3 (02:18):
Been hacking away with that nightly today.

Speaker 5 (02:23):
Well it went over great on Facebook and Instagram. Amber
on Instagram says, cheesecake with toppings has been a new
tradition for our family.

Speaker 1 (02:31):
Cool.

Speaker 5 (02:31):
My uncle spoils us with birthday cheesecake every year for
about five years or so.

Speaker 3 (02:36):
So cool. Everybody kind of gets their own, like we
had caramel sauce, we had strawberry topping, we have whipped
cream with the kids all went crazy for so yeah.

Speaker 5 (02:43):
So Jennifer on Facebook loved it and the picture she
noticed that the crown had a handwritten eight following okay
and Elmo and a one.

Speaker 3 (02:53):
There's a little baby's crown that Phoebe bought for Taylor
and it's got Elmo and a one on it. It's
obviously for a bay.

Speaker 1 (03:00):
She did that as a joke.

Speaker 3 (03:01):
She added the eight they have those little joke. It's
the sweetest thing ever because I would have never thought
of that. Oh it's a private joke.

Speaker 2 (03:10):
I have the collection of numbers over the years from
the different kids, and none of them match up. So
whenever it's somebody's birthday, you just grabbed the tea us.

Speaker 3 (03:19):
I love it. Yeah.

Speaker 5 (03:20):
So, Vicky, speaking of Taylor's birthday, wanted to thank you
for her meltdown in the grocery store parking lot. I
heard the story about the note in the birthday card
and lost it.

Speaker 3 (03:31):
Oh, Vicky, I'm sorry you lost it. But yeah, my grandfather,
Taylor's great grandfather, wrote her a handwritten I love you,
I remember the day you were born and you're still
a delight handwritten note and gave it to her and
we were all mush.

Speaker 5 (03:45):
Yeah, Vicky says. My grandfather's ninety eight with aggressive cancer,
and I've always saved every card he sins because I
am the first and favorite grandchild. I could identify so
deeply with this. Thanks for the laughs, the tears and
precious stories.

Speaker 3 (03:58):
Oh God, thank you Vicky for that. And you're lucky
and blessed to have had him this long.

Speaker 1 (04:02):
Yeah. Absolutely, ninety eight. That's a gift.

Speaker 3 (04:04):
Wow, it's unbelievable. Love to hear from you anytime. Hit
us up on Facebook and Instagram. Coming out Hollywood First
One of the Morning, Jennifer Aniston has a new show
coming and we're going to give you the first peek,
and she's it's not Friends.

Speaker 6 (04:19):
Yeah, Judy's Hollywood Outside gets some Jennifer Andiston news again
today and not just about Friends landing in theaters again
next month, well, three weekends in a row.

Speaker 3 (04:30):
It'll be four episodes on one weekend, four episodes the
next week, the next weekend, and four episodes a third
weekend in theaters.

Speaker 1 (04:37):
I can't wait to see what that's like on the
big screen contry right now, all the episodes so many times.

Speaker 3 (04:42):
Yes, Sam is like our Friends fanatics going to buy tickets? Yes?
Are they going to recite the talk through that?

Speaker 1 (04:48):
Absolutely? You know, I mean they really they should have
the instead of seeing along it's talk a lot. That's
what they should do.

Speaker 3 (04:53):
Kind also like interviews and behind the interviews, behind the
scenes stuff we've never seen before. Hopefully out to I
want outtakes more outtakes of them. Oh my gosh, you're
so right. Okay, No, the other Jennifer Aniston news is
this next TV show that she's going to be a
part of. Jennifer Anison, Reese Witherspoon, and Steve Carrell. It's

(05:14):
for Apple TV. It's we got our first teaser trailer
of it. It's called The Morning Show, and it's about
reporters and their life, the people who bring us morning television.
Good morning.

Speaker 4 (05:25):
I'm bringing you some sad and upsetting news. First and foremost,
I am a journalists. I can feel with the world least.
Guess what, America loves me. I'm just here to deliver
the news to America. That's that's all I ever want
you to do.

Speaker 3 (05:40):
So a dramatic look at their lives.

Speaker 2 (05:42):
It's not funny.

Speaker 3 (05:43):
Doesn't seem like it's going to be funny. I know
you were hoping for that with Steve Carell. Maybe it
will be a little bit funny too. That's just a
teaser trailer, so it takes you through their lives.

Speaker 1 (05:53):
See the thing with that Steve care is you hear
the sad piano and all that. But that could be
the sarcastic maybe.

Speaker 3 (06:00):
But wait, Corel, he's got that Robin Williams thing. He
also bring you to tiers.

Speaker 2 (06:05):
Something in Bruce Almighty, remember sitting at the anchor deck.

Speaker 3 (06:08):
Well, we shall see. It's landing on Apple TV in
the fall. It's called The Morning Show.

Speaker 4 (06:15):
Murphy, Sam and Jody. You are Hollywood here's.

Speaker 2 (06:18):
A question for you. Would you subscribe to a service
that provides tennis shoes for your kids a new pair
every month? What tell you how much it's going to cost?

Speaker 1 (06:29):
Follow us on Facebook and Instagram if you haven't. When
you like our Facebook page, you'll get notifications for new
posts and when we go Facebook Live and look, we
love to hang out with you all day, So be
sure that you follow us on Facebook and Instagram.

Speaker 2 (06:40):
All those personal pictures we post, invite us over, we'll
hang out all day. You see this new tennis shoe
club that the that Nike has come out with for kids,
what's for parents? For kids ages two to ten years old? Okay,
it's called the Adventure Club.

Speaker 3 (06:55):
Where they go through tennis shoes, you buy them hair,
and they wear them out.

Speaker 2 (06:59):
And they're wearing or they're out growing them super fast.
So you can either do twenty thirty or fifty dollars
a month, and depending on what you pay, you get
a new pair of shoes every month, every two months
or every three months. So if you pay the fifty dollars,
you get a new pair every month, right, and that
way your kid can have new shoes. They can also
it'll keep up what they're growing, and Nike says they'll
send you a little a foot sizing chart, okay, and

(07:22):
if you screw it up, they'll just send you a
replacement shoe right away.

Speaker 3 (07:25):
What do they just send you like their you know,
design of the month or do you go like, hey,
I like white or I like a blue shoes.

Speaker 2 (07:32):
There are a few shoes for you to choose.

Speaker 3 (07:34):
For, okay, I mean, I'm picky about my shoes very.

Speaker 2 (07:37):
Remember Nike also owns Converse now, so you have Nike
and Converse shoes. I mean, you know, I'm thinking I
might invest in this just for some Chucks every month.

Speaker 3 (07:45):
Okay, Oh, our girls are Chucks too.

Speaker 1 (07:48):
You know what I mean? For fifty bucks a month though,
that seems pricey to me.

Speaker 3 (07:52):
Yeah you're ricey, but I know.

Speaker 1 (07:54):
And I know with kids at that age you wind
up going through them fast.

Speaker 3 (07:57):
But still, man, boy, that's a great I no, no
for to get.

Speaker 2 (08:01):
The monthly well, Murphy, then you can invest in the
twenty dollars a month program so you can get a
new pair every three months. Even that you have a
new pair of months.

Speaker 3 (08:09):
That's a lot. That's often. Yeah, I can see you
doing that if you're an avid runner, you know, not me.

Speaker 1 (08:15):
No go through about think about how many things you
can get monthly. Now it can be the Dollar Shave Club,
so you get that stuff every month if you want.
Sam was the beef Jerky thing and that like a
monthly man box.

Speaker 3 (08:27):
That thing was called Look, guys, the shoe showing up
once a month. I love that idea, but I'm thinking
heels and chunkies for me, you know, like real shoes.

Speaker 2 (08:35):
This is Nike, so you're not gonna get heels and chunkys.

Speaker 3 (08:38):
Coming up next with Murphy's salmon JOKEI teachers and parents
more of your first week of school advice. You've done
it a million times. We're loving hearing from you because
such a crazy time and we're all in it. Eight
seven seven three one zero four MSJ. Holly Coming to

(08:58):
ideas that Murphy, Sam and Jody dot com. We're talking
French bread, pizza and easy shrimp tacos.

Speaker 2 (09:04):
There's a couple of taco recipes on.

Speaker 3 (09:06):
There because it's easy, delicious and tacos every night this
week Murphy, Samon, Jody dot Com and they're also on
our Facebook page for you call us at.

Speaker 1 (09:13):
Eight seven seven three one zero four MSJ. Anytime. How
are you, Holly?

Speaker 7 (09:18):
I'm doing fabulous on this beautiful morning. I have a
tradition that my mom used to do for us every
morning on the first day of school. Yeah, and she
would write us a letter and we have it on
our breakfast plate waiting for us, so that that was
the first thing that we saw, I mean day on
our first day of school and we got to read

(09:40):
it and it was written from her and then had
you know, those individualized for each of us, and it
was something we always look forward to. Oh. She continued
it all the way through college for us.

Speaker 3 (09:50):
Oh wow, you're very lucky. So is this something that
you will continue most likely?

Speaker 1 (09:57):
Absolutely?

Speaker 4 (09:58):
Yay.

Speaker 3 (09:59):
That's a great That's a lost art too. You should
write letters to people you love. I'm planning the right
one for my daughter for her birthday today.

Speaker 7 (10:06):
Absolutely do it. It's something heartfelt and they will appreciate
it forever.

Speaker 3 (10:11):
No kidding than I'm a fan. Thank you, Holley eight
seven seven three one zero for MSJ. Anytime you want
to join us?

Speaker 4 (10:20):
Coming out Hollywood.

Speaker 3 (10:23):
The big role in Hollywood that Harry Styles has turned down,
tay you about it.

Speaker 6 (10:27):
Next, Jody's Hollywood Outside.

Speaker 3 (10:31):
So we've been telling you about Disney's Live action Little Mermaid,
which is coming with actress Holly Bailey portray Barry portraying Ariel.
This is the live action adaptation, so that's a big job.
And when we had heard, well, I mean, she is
going to be greatest Ariel.

Speaker 4 (10:48):
Look at this stuff, isn't it.

Speaker 3 (10:50):
Seems prettier than this? And then there's been all this
talk about I love it Harry Styles being Prince Eric.

Speaker 2 (11:02):
He was one of the guys in that tried out
for Prince Eric.

Speaker 3 (11:05):
Stop you crying. It's a sonate And of course they're
gonna give Eric more than one line, as opposed to
the animated where Eric is barely has anything to say.
He drove me crazy in that one. It's like, come on,
have a personality. Harry Styles has passed on playing Prince

(11:26):
Eric for The Little Mermaid. I'm sad to report. I
really wanted to see that. He looks like a prince
he does, I mean everything about him. Everything about that
rumor worked for me.

Speaker 2 (11:37):
But they would have to put a song on.

Speaker 3 (11:38):
There or something for they're they're they're adding music and
they're they added a solo for Jasmine, and they live
action Aladdin recently and it was really powerful and it
was really good. So yeah, they're going to add but
not with Prince I'm sorry, not Prince Harry, not with
Harry's styles. Moving on to something else we have loved

(11:58):
and enjoyed from twenty eighteen. At Christmas time, Netflix gave
us Kurt Russell as Santa Claus and a movie called
The Christmas Chronicles.

Speaker 2 (12:07):
Give me a camera. It's Santa Claus five and in person,
one night.

Speaker 3 (12:13):
Don't make How cool is it for Kurt Russell to
be Santa Claus?

Speaker 2 (12:18):
Did you ever watch it?

Speaker 3 (12:19):
I watched parts of it. I never finished it yet,
but I have plenty of time because guess what. Netflix
has announced that they're making The Christmas Chronicles two. Kurt
Russell is going to be back as Santa. They're gonna
start filming in September, which means it'll be next Christmas.
Not this Christmas. Okay, this Christmas.

Speaker 2 (12:36):
You can hurry it up and get it done by Christmas.

Speaker 3 (12:39):
No, you can't make a movie that quickly, not a
movie of that scope. But this year. Just enjoy it
again or enjoy it for the first time Kurt Russell's
Santa Claus. I am all about it. So next year
we'll have Christmas chronicles too. Coming up in your next
Hollywood Outside of This Morning, Round seven fifty five, Jennifer
Aniston coming back to television but not friends.

Speaker 4 (13:03):
Murphy Salm and Jody, you are a Hollywood Elsider.

Speaker 1 (13:09):
And as we get started, we got a very special
birthday wish this morning, Jody and I do to our
oldest daughter, Taylor, who turns eighteen, which is just hard
to believe.

Speaker 4 (13:18):
So hard.

Speaker 2 (13:18):
I already left the house for school.

Speaker 3 (13:21):
Yes, we're taking her to a nice dinner tonight.

Speaker 1 (13:24):
And you know, if if you've been part of the Murphy,
Salmon and Jody family for long enough, then you would
remember probably that you know, we actually the day she
was born, in the fact that we had part of
the birth on the air.

Speaker 3 (13:33):
Anyway, you know, Tracy on our Facebook page said, I
remember when you announced that you were having a baby
for the first time. Taylor not crazy. So thank you
Tracy for listening all this time. Yeah, it's a long
time coming up with Murphy's Salm and Jody.

Speaker 1 (13:47):
So Jodie's Hollywood Outsider yesterday I've been pumped up ever
since I heard this that Friends is coming to the
big screen and it's not a brand new movie. They're
going to take the twelve best episodes and celebrate the anniversary.
But none of us really know what they're going to
be yet.

Speaker 3 (14:00):
Wait, extra stuff, So we're going to tell you a
little bit more about that coming up this hour. Also
more of your first day of school adventures. We know
it's crazy and we want to hear your tricks and traditions.
So eight seven seven three one zero four MSJ. Kim
is on the way with that.

Speaker 1 (14:20):
Always love to hear from you, absolutely is our favorite thing.
Eight seven seven three one zero for MSJ. You can
call us or you can text us. Good morning, Kim,
good morning.

Speaker 3 (14:30):
How are you?

Speaker 8 (14:31):
The first day is school here? I am frazzled.

Speaker 3 (14:35):
I'm sorry.

Speaker 8 (14:38):
So I have a three year old, a two year
old and a night ten year old. Wow the car
and they are dancing and singing to Murphy Sam and
Jodia toy Oh.

Speaker 3 (14:50):
I feel so honored, thank so honored. That makes me
feel so when.

Speaker 8 (14:54):
I when I've got my twelve year old, is it
on the radio?

Speaker 4 (15:00):
Yeah?

Speaker 8 (15:01):
She wants you guys on there, and it's really awesome
that you guys appeal to such an audience.

Speaker 3 (15:07):
Good, I'm glad and look, I just look, Tell the kids,
Tell all the kids listening, especially if it's back to
school time in a few days. This schedule will be
your norm. It will not be, you know, an anxiety
ridden thing. It will settle right back in.

Speaker 2 (15:23):
I guess that is for parents too, true.

Speaker 3 (15:27):
This will be your new norm for a while. Life
is like that, it's constantly changing. It would be so
boring if it was always the same.

Speaker 8 (15:33):
Anyway, trying to catch a cup of coffee in between
car rides. But I just wanted to call in and
paint you a picture of what I've got going on
in the backseat. And I am thankful for you guys
for putting on a show that the kids can listen to,
for one thing, and just being able to enjoy the

(15:54):
morning with them. And I thank you guys for that.

Speaker 3 (15:56):
Thank you for calling and telling us that, because we
know you don't have to do that, to add that
phone call to your busy morning, that we appreciate it
and we'd love to hear from you anytime.

Speaker 2 (16:04):
Thank you, Kim.

Speaker 8 (16:05):
Alrighty, you all take care and have a great day.
And I know you got kids getting ready to go
back to school too.

Speaker 3 (16:11):
That's right, It is time.

Speaker 8 (16:14):
Good luck to see you and yours well.

Speaker 1 (16:15):
Thank you, Kim. We appreciate that a creator and a senior,
which is you know, hard to believe.

Speaker 3 (16:21):
Love in that car in today's Taylor's birthday. So much
going on, nothing happening, huh eight seven seven three one
zero four msj anytime you want to jump in as
you get back to schooling, show me.

Speaker 4 (16:32):
Up with Murphy, Sam and Jody.

Speaker 2 (16:34):
Jony, You're going to be so proud of me because
I fought my hardest against spoiling Stranger Things season three.
Good for you, Sam, tell you why.

Speaker 1 (16:45):
And you can see what you hear by subscribing to
our YouTube channel just another way, and I go to
kind of catch up on what's going on here Murphy,
Sam and Jody. We'd love to have you as a subscriber.

Speaker 2 (16:55):
Jody, you are going to be very.

Speaker 3 (16:57):
Proud of me, for I'm always proud of you. Sam.

Speaker 2 (16:59):
Finding them, I went and saw Hollis, my grandson, and
Hollis and Sammy and Melissa too. Yeah, they were there,
the parents and they finally started watching season three of Stranger.

Speaker 3 (17:10):
Things, okay, and you didn't say anything. Now I know
it was killing you. And I was watching and at.

Speaker 2 (17:17):
First it was like, Okay, that's good. Nothing to worry
about here, nobody's asking me questions. And then Melissa says
that somebody at work told her about a death in
the in the series in season three, just stop there yet,
and I was like, okay, she wanted what does she say?

Speaker 3 (17:34):
Though?

Speaker 2 (17:35):
She said, can you tell me if this really happened?

Speaker 1 (17:38):
Why ask you that?

Speaker 2 (17:39):
I don't know, you know what, I don't do it
as much as I wanted.

Speaker 3 (17:43):
Well she asked.

Speaker 2 (17:44):
I thought that she asked so she wants to know,
but I don't really give that consideration. But then I thought,
what would Jodie do.

Speaker 1 (17:52):
Which is actually a pretty good as her husband, I
can tell you that's a really good question to ask
herself regularly.

Speaker 3 (17:58):
Yeah, oh that's a sweet thing.

Speaker 2 (18:00):
And I thought, I'm not going to do it.

Speaker 3 (18:02):
Don't. She didn't mean to. She doesn't mean to ruin
the experience for herself either, but that would have ruined
the experience from her.

Speaker 2 (18:09):
That's what I was thinking. This is for your own good.
I'm not going to tell you. I know the answer
to your question. Yeah, but I'm not even going to
give you a hint as to maybe possibly, I don't know.
It's just like, I don't know. You're gonna have to
watch it.

Speaker 1 (18:21):
Well, now that you're becoming good at this, maybe you
could actually wade into the waters where you say, sorry,
I'm not the type to give spoilers. Yeah, I don't
do spoilers.

Speaker 3 (18:30):
A little pride spoilers.

Speaker 2 (18:32):
Maybe I'll print up some business cards. Sorry, no spoilers here.

Speaker 3 (18:36):
Coming up next with Murphy's Damon Joey proving what geeks
we are, Murphy's spending some time at home trying to
figure out which Friends episodes they're actually going to play
on the big screen. Say about those next.

Speaker 1 (18:49):
I have been excited for almost twenty four hours now
since Jody mentioned on the Hollywood Outside yesterday that Friends
for the twenty fifth anniversaries coming to the theater.

Speaker 2 (18:58):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (18:58):
I know, awesome, and it's not like it's a new movie,
but it's just some of the best episodes.

Speaker 3 (19:02):
I don't want them to make a new movie. I'm
tired of hearing that talk. I'm fine with it being
what it was, even when we take breaks from it.
It's always fun to come back to.

Speaker 1 (19:11):
When you explain this though, this is what the Friends
purist really wants. We have no idea which episodes they're
going to put together twelve, but they're going to pick twelve.
You know. Maybe it's the one with the joke.

Speaker 4 (19:21):
It is funny. It was also funny when I made
it up. What I made that joke up? Oh no,
you didn't I did?

Speaker 1 (19:30):
Oh yes I did.

Speaker 2 (19:32):
I told us to Dan at work and he said
it was the funniest show he'd ever heard.

Speaker 4 (19:35):
Hey, tell, damn thanks.

Speaker 3 (19:38):
You know what, I'm going to make some predictions. It's
gonna have to be the one where they don't know
we know, they know we know, because that's a bit.

Speaker 4 (19:45):
They think they are so slick messing with us. See,
they don't know that we know that they know.

Speaker 1 (19:52):
Yes, so yes, the messers become the messies.

Speaker 2 (19:57):
Oh gosh, I got to do one of their Thanksgiving
said huh.

Speaker 3 (20:00):
And actually, there's so many good Thanksgiving episodes with the trifle.

Speaker 1 (20:04):
Are you now they're going to do?

Speaker 4 (20:06):
Now? No, everybody, it's trifle time.

Speaker 3 (20:09):
So bitch, this is a traditional English trifle, isn't it?

Speaker 4 (20:13):
It sure is?

Speaker 1 (20:14):
Wow?

Speaker 4 (20:14):
So then did you make it with beef or eggplant beef.
I can't have any you know, I don't eat beef.

Speaker 1 (20:20):
No, that's still enough. And see every single one of
those you can quote along with it. I guarantee you
the audience is going to be saying the quotes as
they have.

Speaker 3 (20:29):
It's going to be fun. And I'm going to say this.
We think it's all going to be us and all
adults in our age because this was our this was
my show. I was their age. You know what I'm saying.
I was watching it when I was in college. Our
kids love friends. I can see Phoebes, I mean, hello,
Phoebe wanting to go see this, and she and some
of her friends. The last time they were at the house,
they dressed up like the Friends characters. Phoebe was Phoebe

(20:50):
Buffet and you know, it was just really funny.

Speaker 2 (20:52):
And think of that people are going to do that.

Speaker 3 (20:54):
Yeah, oh why not?

Speaker 1 (20:55):
That's what I was going to say. The most exciting
part of this, truly is going to be that for me, Jody,
it will be a family thing because Phoebe and Taylor
will be there and the four of us can all
participate in it, you know, together.

Speaker 3 (21:05):
The remastered episodes, never before seen footage and interviews to
accompany the episodes four, four and four, So three Weekends
in a row. Tickets go on sale this Friday.

Speaker 1 (21:17):
We were on a break, I get out.

Speaker 6 (21:21):
One YEAHS coming up with Murphy Salm and Jody.

Speaker 1 (21:24):
Carol's calling at eight seven seven three one oh four
MSJ for you, Jody, something you said yesterday stopped her
in her tracks.

Speaker 3 (21:33):
Jump in anytime eight seven seven three one zero four MSJ.
Hey Carol, good morning.

Speaker 8 (21:39):
How are you guys doing today?

Speaker 9 (21:40):
We're good.

Speaker 3 (21:41):
You not too bad?

Speaker 8 (21:43):
When you read that note from Taylor's grandpa, From your grandpa,
he wrote to Taylor, so beautiful. But my first thought was,
oh my god, there's Taylor's first bat.

Speaker 2 (21:56):
Dou Oh.

Speaker 1 (21:59):
Have you been doing?

Speaker 3 (22:01):
Because she's so very interested in that. That's been the
dang that should.

Speaker 8 (22:08):
Be her first tattoo in her grandpa's handwriting and everything
I noticed.

Speaker 3 (22:13):
Carol said first, No, I mean you know what, something
that's going to mean something to her is what she's
talking about already, and that funny, I would have never
thought of that. It's kind of a long note.

Speaker 1 (22:30):
Tattoo.

Speaker 2 (22:31):
We don't know.

Speaker 3 (22:32):
Somewhere on your back or so, you know, I'll have
to pass that along, she says, Carol, But thank you,
you have a great day.

Speaker 1 (22:41):
Thank you, Carol. Yeah, you know he said that when
she turned eighteen that she would be able to So
I guess we're going to stick.

Speaker 3 (22:47):
She's been asking me and dangling that how do you
feel about this?

Speaker 9 (22:51):
Mom?

Speaker 3 (22:51):
She hasn't talked to you, I to Iye about it
Murphy yet, but she certainly has talked to me about it.
So it's like, well, you know, yes you can, but
you know, I'm giving her a few little pieces of
advice and mainly talk to your dad. Coming up, Hollywood,
tell you about Jennifer Aniston coming back to TV.

Speaker 6 (23:09):
Jody's Hollywood Outsider.

Speaker 3 (23:11):
So Jennifer Anderson really is coming back to TV. Yay friends,
Not no, no, no, in the theaters later next month. Yes,
for twelve episodes, but no Jennifer Aniston along with Reese
Witherspoon and Steve Carell actors who could not be hotter
today name yeah, on Apple TV. This false That's the

(23:33):
only place you're gonna be able to get it. They're
doing a show called The Morning Show, and it's about
these the people who bring US nationally morning television, and
so we got the first teaser trailer yesterday. Good Morning.

Speaker 4 (23:48):
I'm bringing you some sad and upsetting news. First and foremost,
I am a journalists I could feel with the world.
Guess what, America loves me.

Speaker 3 (23:59):
I'm just here to deliver for the news to America.

Speaker 4 (24:01):
That's that's all I ever want to use.

Speaker 2 (24:02):
I'm waiting for the jokes.

Speaker 3 (24:03):
I don't hear jokes yet, but I'm gonna tell you this.
It depends on what they're trying to do with this.
If it's a drama and they're trying to show us
what these what these people's lives are really like, because
I'm sure it's crazy. You need to get to work
at like two o'clock in the morning, and it's it's
a crazy life they lead. But to me, you could
also go with the funny, because did you hear how

(24:25):
you know snarky? It sounded Reese Witherspoon, even when she's
being dramatic, can be really funny too. The most recent
for me is Big Little Lies. Even when it's very dramatic,
she's hysterical to me. So we shall see. It's going
to be only on Apple TV and it's coming sometime
this fall, which means soon.

Speaker 2 (24:43):
So how do you get Apple TV?

Speaker 3 (24:45):
You know what your and iPhone?

Speaker 1 (24:47):
Person?

Speaker 2 (24:48):
Right, maybe I can watch it on my phone.

Speaker 3 (24:49):
Well you can dig into that because there'll definitely be
some buzz about that. Moving on, Jay Z joining forces
with the NFL. To hear about this, No, okay, So
he and his company have signed a deal with the NFL.
He will be there live music strategist, which means he's
consulting on the super Bowl halftime show, among any other

(25:12):
thing that's music related. That doesn't mean he's going to
be the halftime show.

Speaker 4 (25:19):
You know what.

Speaker 3 (25:19):
It probably happened when Beyonce was the super Bowl halftime
show those couple of times that he was back there,
and they just enjoyed working with him and probably started
that way. I mean, remember the big rumor for this
upcoming super Bowl is Jennifer Lopez. But he would just
they're just going to say, you know what, we're football,
your music. Let's team together. But it's not just a friendship.

(25:41):
There was a deal that was signed, so he is
the Strategistez, can you do it? Not exactly, I'm sure
I come it up in your next Hollywood outside of
this morning Round eight point thirty Kurt Russell as Santa Claus. Again.
I think we're down, Murphy, Sam and Jody, you are

(26:04):
Happy birthday to our Taylor, our oldest, the kid that
came along in Mana's parents.

Speaker 1 (26:08):
Taylor is eighteen, the person that came along to make
you and I grow up.

Speaker 3 (26:13):
Oh my gosh, it's just there's never a bigger up
to me life change than having becoming a parent. And
it flew, it flew, And when I see her sometimes
I still see those big cheeks and that little kid.

Speaker 1 (26:27):
It's still not over.

Speaker 3 (26:28):
So you know, I know, I know, but eighteen is significant.
And you know what I've been struggling. We're taking her out.
She's kind of a little foodie and so we're taking
her out to one of her favorite restaurants tonight, just
us as a family, which is really fun. But I've
struggled with a present, like what do you get? You
know what I'm saying. We don't have a big gift
for her. I tried to offer her up a big
party with her friends, and she was like, no, she

(26:50):
doesn't want us involved in her friend's party. It is
jay Im.

Speaker 1 (26:54):
Then you say that because I mean, I hadn't really
thought about that. The dinner sounds good, I mean to me,
you know, the car and shure and some you know
other things sorted things like that, and.

Speaker 2 (27:02):
There was things you want to bring up at the
birthday party. You know, Taylor, we do pay for a
roof over your head the food you eat them.

Speaker 3 (27:10):
She's not expecting anything other than you know, cards, cash
or gift. I know, I know, but anyway, can't you
don't believe it? But also knowing her I means she's
right where she's supposed to be.

Speaker 4 (27:22):
Yes, she iss coming up with Murphy Salmon.

Speaker 3 (27:25):
Jody, your email answered in our producer's mail bag. You
know we love to hear from you from Facebook and
Instagram and a lot of cheesy ha cheesecake stuff there next.
Give us a call any time eight seven seven three
one zero four six seven five, or you can jump
in on Facebook or Instagram.

Speaker 4 (27:43):
It's time for the producer's nailed down.

Speaker 3 (27:45):
What do you have in that bag today?

Speaker 5 (27:47):
Chad Well, Jody, Today is your daughter Taylor's birthday.

Speaker 3 (27:50):
Yes, she is eighteen today. We I can't believe it. Still,
she's making sure we know it for sure.

Speaker 5 (27:56):
But you guys posted about cheesecake and toppings that you
did or her birthday.

Speaker 3 (28:00):
Yeah, well when the family came over. She's not about
cake and ice cream as much, but she's about cheesecakes.
What kind of did a cheesecake bar and topping thing
got to go over? How do you think it went over?

Speaker 1 (28:11):
What the best part of it actually is that there
was one full cheesecake left over.

Speaker 3 (28:17):
Been hacking away with that lightly today?

Speaker 5 (28:22):
Well it went over great on Facebook and Instagram. Amber
on Instagram says, cheesecake with toppings has been a new
tradition for our family.

Speaker 1 (28:30):
Cool. My uncle spoils us with.

Speaker 5 (28:32):
Birthday cheesecake every year for about five years or so.

Speaker 3 (28:35):
So cool. Everybody kind of gets their own, like we
had caramel sauce, we had strawberry topping, we have whipped
cream with the kids. All went crazy for so yeah.

Speaker 5 (28:42):
So Jennifer on Facebook loved it and the picture she
noticed that the crown had a handwritten eight following okay
and Elmo and a one.

Speaker 3 (28:52):
There's a little baby's crown that Phoebe bought for Taylor,
and it's it's got Elmo and a one on it.
It's obviously for a baby that is a joke. She
added the eight. I don't know they have those little joke.
It's the sweetest thing ever, because I would have never
thought of that. Oh it's a private joke.

Speaker 2 (29:09):
I have the collection of numbers over the years from
the different kids, and none of them match up.

Speaker 4 (29:13):
Right.

Speaker 2 (29:14):
So whenever it's somebody's birthday, you just grabbed the tea numbs.

Speaker 3 (29:18):
I love it.

Speaker 5 (29:19):
Yeah, So, Vicky, speaking of Taylor's birthday, wanted to thank
you for her meltdown in the grocery store parking lot.
I heard the story about the note in the birthday
card and lost it.

Speaker 3 (29:30):
Oh, Vicky, I'm sorry you lost it. But yeah, my grandfather,
Taylor's great grandfather, wrote her a handwritten I love you,
I remember the day you were born and you're still
a delight handwritten note and gave it to her and
we were all mush.

Speaker 5 (29:44):
Yeah, Vicky says. My grandfather's ninety eight with aggressive cancer,
and I've always saved every card he sins because I
am the first and favorite grandchild I could identify so
deeply with this. Thanks for the laughs, the tears and
precious stories.

Speaker 3 (29:57):
Oh God, thank you Vicky for that. And you're lucky
and blessed to have had him this long.

Speaker 1 (30:01):
Yeah, absolutely ninety eight. That's a gift.

Speaker 3 (30:03):
Wow, it's unbelievable. Love to hear from you anytime. Hit
us up on Facebook and Instagram.

Speaker 4 (30:11):
It's new and you can eat it. Saunds founded, he's
the food dude.

Speaker 2 (30:14):
It has been an insane week at the restaurants this week.
A lot of first stuff happening. Popeyes with their first
chicken sandwich rolling it out, Nakes and wide. Really Chick
fil A is now rocking cheese and cheese.

Speaker 3 (30:26):
Oh my gosh, what I've seen those is not need
to taste that.

Speaker 2 (30:29):
It's only on the catering menu, So I don't know
if you can get a side of that with your
or whatever.

Speaker 3 (30:34):
I think if you ask for anything, you're going to
get there. Well, they are friendly over like my pleasure.

Speaker 1 (30:41):
Either Jodie's correct about this or she's going to start
something today that she really doesn't want to start.

Speaker 2 (30:47):
Well, you know what, going go there Sunday and ask
him for it. They also have a new frosted caramel
coffee which they are all November Colebrew Coffee, Vanilla ice
Dream dessert, and caramel syrup or carmel however, you say
it came. Spicy nuggets are back at Wendy's. Remember a
chance the rapper doing the tweet and everybody jumped on it.
So Wendy says, yeah, we bring them, brought him back.

(31:09):
They started on Monday and they're giving away two million
orders absolutely free until they run out.

Speaker 4 (31:15):
Whoa.

Speaker 2 (31:16):
They expect to do that by the end by next week.
So if you want some free spicy chicken nuggets from Wendy's.

Speaker 1 (31:20):
This is assuming it's a one per customer kind of
a thing.

Speaker 2 (31:24):
Yeah, or you know my speed, you hit different restaurants
really work it. Yeah, you say the map and Olive Garden,
you know, every year they do this never ending pasta
pass where you can buy it for one hundred bucks
and it's like for nine weeks you can have as
much pasta as you want it. Olive Garden they do,
remember for about five years they sell like twenty thousand

(31:46):
of these and once they sell them, they're gone. Well,
this year they are bumping it up. This year they're
selling fifty for five hundred dollars each. Lifetime never ending
pasta passes.

Speaker 3 (31:58):
You must really love them all Garden pasta if you're
going to spend that kind of money.

Speaker 2 (32:02):
Five hundred bucks for the rest of your life. You
can eat pasta at Olive It.

Speaker 1 (32:05):
Look, I love pasta, but if I eat that much pasta,
I'm probably gonna have to either run ten miles a
day or something else.

Speaker 2 (32:12):
Oh, I'm sure you'll be running. And it's by the way,
they said that's about forty five orders. So after your
forty fifth order, it's in your life at Olive Garden.

Speaker 3 (32:21):
Yeah, there you go. Thank you food dude.

Speaker 4 (32:24):
Coming up your Hollywood.

Speaker 3 (32:27):
Netflix has given Kurt Russell a sequel to a movie
that we enjoyed as families together last year.

Speaker 6 (32:32):
Tell you about it next, Jody's Hollywood Outsider.

Speaker 3 (32:38):
Remember last Christmas when Kurt Kurt Russell was Santa Claus.

Speaker 4 (32:43):
Here's your camera, It's Santa Claus five and.

Speaker 3 (32:48):
In person one night man.

Speaker 2 (32:51):
Right now, he's in Once upon a Time while.

Speaker 3 (32:53):
It was okay, So Kurt Russell was Santa Claus and
the movie The Christmas Chronicles on Netflix and blew up
last week. It did like twenty million streams in the
first week, and it caught on because it's a sweet
special today sort of Christmas tale.

Speaker 4 (33:08):
Well.

Speaker 3 (33:08):
Netflix announced this week that they're going to do Christmas
Chronicles two. Kurt Russell is going to be back at
Santa Claus or don't do it.

Speaker 1 (33:15):
Jenna's back.

Speaker 3 (33:16):
But they're film They're starting to film like this fall
in September or October, so it's not going to be
till next Christmas that we get it, not this So
this year is when you should binge it again. I
can share it with everybody and just enjoy the goodness
of it. More Christmas Chronicles, More Kurt and maybe Goldie
on Netflix.

Speaker 4 (33:34):
Murphy Salm and Jody, you are a Hollywood insider.

Speaker 3 (33:40):
Jump in anytime eight seven seven three one zero four
ms J where we're on the phone already. You can
leave us voicemail and let's grab some guys.

Speaker 4 (33:49):
Murphy Salm and Jody twenty four hour voicemail.

Speaker 8 (33:52):
Hi, this is Dawn.

Speaker 9 (33:53):
I just wanted to tell you my back to the
school tradition.

Speaker 1 (33:57):
Okay.

Speaker 9 (33:57):
I take a picture of the kids every year on
their first day of school, and then on their senior year,
I make them a book, a little Shutterfly book that
has their first day of school pictures in it, and
I give that to them as part as of their

(34:18):
graduation gifts for those memories. I go in and I
take pictures of their friends and by themselves and with
their siblings. Anyway, That's what I did at my house.

Speaker 1 (34:28):
Thanks, thank you Don for the voicemail.

Speaker 2 (34:30):
Cool idea. I love that idea.

Speaker 3 (34:32):
Yeah. My aunt Jackie always did a huge picture collage
of the kid that was graduating high school. She has
three kids and it's just huge of all the pictures
of them, just tons, and it was displayed at their
graduation party.

Speaker 1 (34:45):
Yeah, very cool. My mom before Shutterfly came along, did
the same thing with each of the school pictures. It
wasn't the first day pictures, but it was the school
photos and they kind of like surround the senior photos
me and my brother and sister those.

Speaker 3 (34:58):
It's kind of cool with the lovely into that word
it did.

Speaker 1 (35:01):
A few of them were out of order, young and
older and then lightly younger.

Speaker 3 (35:05):
Again Murphy style and can not help but pointed out
every time. Thanks Mom.

Speaker 4 (35:14):
JODI's Hollywood outside.

Speaker 3 (35:16):
I don't know about you, guys, but I'd really like
to see some Harry Styles on the big screen. Just
stop you crying, Kirk, that's true. He has the experience. Okay,
there was a rumor that Harry Styles, I almost want
to call him Prince Harry accidentally was up for the

(35:37):
role of Prince Eric in Disney's live action The Little Mermaid,
which we know they're making. Ariel will be played by
singing and acting Sensation Hallie Bailey and Fucket. I mean, listen,
how good that's.

Speaker 4 (35:55):
What you.

Speaker 2 (35:59):
That's gonna be great.

Speaker 3 (36:00):
That's just her like singing Santa next to a tree
and her friend filming it on a phone. So she's Ariel.
There's been talk about Melissa McCarthy being Ursula, but no confirmation. Yeah,
we know that. Har Harry Styles, Prince Harry tried out
and whatever audition for Prince Eric because they're going to
make it more musical and they're going to give you know,

(36:20):
that character more to say and do and some songs
of his own. I thought that would be prett He
looks like a prince, yeah, but he has passed.

Speaker 2 (36:27):
All Eric did in the movie was just look pretty right.

Speaker 3 (36:30):
I know, Hi, he didn't say as much as she
when she lost her voice. He might as well have too. Anyway,
Harry Styles has passed on playing Prince Eric. It just
didn't work out, so the search continues. Murphy, Sam, and Jody.
You are a Hollywood insider.

Speaker 2 (36:46):
