Speaker 1 (00:01):
It is time your real life ghost stories. What happened
that made you believe? Sweet or scary? Eight seven seven
three one zero four MSJ Happy Friday, Britain.
Speaker 2 (00:13):
Do you have one for us?
Speaker 3 (00:15):
I do, actually, and it's it's a good ghost story.
Speaker 4 (00:19):
Yay.
Speaker 5 (00:20):
So back in twenty ten, my husband and I moved
our family out to his family property that has been
passed down through many generations.
Speaker 4 (00:31):
Nice and our.
Speaker 3 (00:32):
Oldest daughter, which was about two at the time, started
noticing a man.
Speaker 5 (00:39):
On the front porch and there was no man there. Well,
then this man started coming into our house and sitting
on our couch while we ate dinner, and it was
kind of creepy.
Speaker 4 (00:53):
You know, you saw this like you saw this or
your daughter?
Speaker 3 (00:59):
Our daughter always she would tell us that his name
was chau Cha. So one day she walked from the
front door to the master bedroom closet and it was
like she was holding somebody's hand, and come to find out,
(01:20):
the man Cha Chaw walked her back there and was
pointing out some stuff to her. Well, a lot of
my husband's ancestral belongings were in that closet.
Speaker 6 (01:34):
Wow, okay, yeah, So we started pulling things out and
found a picture of him and she immediately said pointed.
Speaker 7 (01:45):
And said, oh whah yeah, and it was my husband's
great grandfather, Charlie.
Speaker 1 (01:56):
Yeah, oh that's so cool. So at what age did
she stop seeing cha chaw?
Speaker 5 (02:02):
It went on for.
Speaker 3 (02:03):
Several weeks and then it stopped.
Speaker 5 (02:07):
Yeah, thankfully because it was it was nice, it wasn't scary.
Speaker 4 (02:11):
But still yeah, but it was creepy.
Speaker 2 (02:13):
Yeah, it is creepy. It's nice that she wasn't scared, though.
Speaker 1 (02:16):
And my thing about even a nice ghost in the house,
are you are you able to walk around.
Speaker 4 (02:22):
Naked like because you know, yeah, that would change not
at all? Right, Oh you don't want to see that,
right family or not?
Speaker 6 (02:31):
Oh?
Speaker 3 (02:32):
Yeah, for sure, there were.
Speaker 5 (02:34):
There was a lot of times when I couldn't right,
I couldn't do a lot of things.
Speaker 2 (02:39):
Right.
Speaker 4 (02:40):
Is so funny. I love it. I love it. Thank
you for this, Brittany.
Speaker 2 (02:45):

Speaker 1 (04:13):
Your favorites, and you read them all too like it
was your j op Remember, Okay. Andrew sent this in
for Grateful Friday. My mother passed away peacefully Wednesday evening
this week. I'm grateful for the doctors and nurses that
made sure she was comfortable during her final days. And
I'm grateful for family and friends who were able to
(04:33):
share their love for her and say their goodbyes. But
mostly I'm grateful for the fifty two years I had
her in my life and that she was my mom.
Speaker 4 (04:44):
Such a beautiful thing to say. Thank you for sending
this in.
Speaker 1 (04:50):
It's a it's not often that we get a grateful
that's attached to loss.
Speaker 2 (04:54):
Yeah, you're like that, but I mean it's a weird.
It's a weird kind of gratitude because once you've exed
experienced it, you definitely understand.
Speaker 1 (05:02):
Yeah, it goes along there, and I think also at
that time in your life, we've all been there at
that time in your life when you are having to
let go of something, that's when you see the best
in your family. That's when you feel closest to your
family when you're losing something together. Keep it coming, Grateful Friday.
Speaker 2 (05:19):
Jody has your Hollywood Outsider coming up next.
Speaker 7 (05:23):
Trending Now.
Speaker 4 (05:24):
Jody's Hollywood Outsider brought to.
Speaker 1 (05:26):
You by Low's Children of the Eighties. Here's another one
coming back for you. She's getting a rebirth. Rainbow Bright,
Rainbow Bright.
Speaker 5 (05:35):
What is this place?
Speaker 2 (05:36):
Rainbow Land, isn't it rad?
Speaker 1 (05:38):
I know you guys think are looking at me for answers.
I never got into Rainbow Bright. I think it was
a little bit too old at the time.
Speaker 8 (05:45):
My name, but I don't remember what she did.
Speaker 4 (05:47):
A friend, a hero, a role model. She's creative.
Speaker 1 (05:50):
She brings all the colors of the universe to, you know,
to everywhere she goes.
Speaker 4 (05:54):
It's fun.
Speaker 1 (05:55):
And it was a nineteen eighty four animated series, and
there were a couple of full length feature fels and
they're gonna develop. Hallmark is developing a TV series called
Rainbow Bright. So if you see some new stuff coming up,
that's what it is.
Speaker 8 (06:08):
It's on Hallmark. I don't have to worry about it, all.
Speaker 4 (06:10):
Right, want to move on.
Speaker 1 (06:11):
Last week on SNL, they had a real hit on
their hands, the biggest ratings they've had in years, with
Ariana Grande hosting and Stevie Nicks as the musical guest. Well,
this weekend, look Out, It's Michael Keaton is hosting Beetlejuice
and musical guest Billy Eilish. So that is tomorrow nights
(06:34):
on NBC A big season. Their fiftieth anniversary coming up next.
Speaker 2 (06:38):
Sam has Music News.
Speaker 8 (06:39):
Yeah, I got some more musty Vegas residencies for you
and Mariah Carey's grunge album.
Speaker 4 (06:46):
Sam's Got Music News brought to you by All State.
Speaker 8 (06:50):
Well, the Eagles said, hey, you know what, this is
going so great in Vegas. Let's add some more dates.
Talk about your long runs. Yeah, they're playing the Sphere. Yes,
they are in the Sphere. They started last month and
they've just been adding and adding as they sell out.
So now they've added four more dates in March of
next year, first two weekends of March seventh, eighth, fourteenth,
and fifteenth. Tickets will go on sale next Friday. If
(07:13):
you want to go, check that one out.
Speaker 4 (07:15):
Good for them.
Speaker 8 (07:15):
And Brian Adams is going to Vegas. Here's the cool
thing about that. He is playing the Encore Theater at Win.
He starts on March the seventh of next year, which
is the same day the Eagles are playing over at
the Sphere. So I'm thinking maybe a rock week weekend. Yeah,
it's an idea. His tickets go on sale today, so
(07:36):
if you want to go see that one. If you
don't know, if you remember a while back, we told
you Mariah Carey had a grunge album that she recorded
way back. No sam she recorded in ninety five when
she did the Daydream album, which you know the song
is from, and the album is called Someone's Ugly Daughter.
She recorded it with another woman and the record company
(07:56):
wouldn't let her put it out. They said, that's going
to screw with your image and all all that, so
let's not.
Speaker 4 (08:01):
You wouldn't let her let her do it herself then, But.
Speaker 8 (08:03):
When the record company they said, you know what, maybe
if you did backup, we'll release it as an album.
So she's doing backup on this. Barely hear her in
the background some other female singer who she partnered up
with for this.
Speaker 2 (08:23):
I could see her wanting to do that back then,
because you know, the female grunge movement was huge in
the mid nineties. And Mariah is she's really kind of
multi dimensional what she does.
Speaker 4 (08:32):
I mean, she should be able to do whatever she
wants to do. She got a voice.
Speaker 8 (08:35):
She was asked in a podcast this week what happened
to it? And she says she's planning at some point
to release it. She just has to go around the
record company to do the business.
Speaker 4 (08:43):
Okay.
Speaker 8 (08:43):
I got a couple of documentaries biopics today about Meghan
the Stallion's got one coming.
Speaker 9 (08:47):
I'm a Savings.
Speaker 8 (08:49):
It's coming out on Halloween night. Hey there you go. Yeah,
it's called in her words, it's going to take her
from the beginnings all the way to her fame now
and if you go to the movie theaters you can
see the brand new bio pick about Pharrell Williams.
Speaker 4 (09:04):
The leg one.
Speaker 2 (09:05):
This is the Lego one.
Speaker 8 (09:05):
It's called Peace by Piece. The entire thing is done
with legos, includes a Jay Z lego, a Gwen Stefani lego,
and a Snoop Dog lego.
Speaker 2 (09:14):
Of course, coming up next, Jody has three things to
know today.
Speaker 1 (09:20):
Here's three things to Know today brought to you by
Verizon number one, just in time for our real life
ghost stories.
Speaker 4 (09:27):
Most of us feel like our house could be a
little haunted. How you like that? What do we hear?
Why do we make these assumptions?
Speaker 1 (09:35):
Spooky sounds like unsettling noises in the walls, which I
want to say, which could be critters.
Speaker 4 (09:40):
Creaky floors, flickering lights.
Speaker 1 (09:43):
But the number one scary unexplained footsteps.
Speaker 2 (09:46):
Wow?
Speaker 4 (09:47):
Okay, that and that's a lot of it. Does we
live with all that?
Speaker 8 (09:50):
On a disembodied voice?
Speaker 1 (09:52):
Number two, if you heard about Disney releasing these pricey
new skip the line passes, it's called the Lightning Lane Premiere.
Speaker 8 (09:59):
Path, even more than a fast pass, keep the.
Speaker 1 (10:02):
Line completely once a day per ride. You don't have
to have any you know, anything reserved in advance. It'll
set you back around four hundred dollars a day per person.
Speaker 8 (10:12):
In addition to your ticket.
Speaker 1 (10:14):
In addition to your ticket. In some cases it costs
more than the ticket. It's unreal, but they've they're unveiling it.
Speaker 8 (10:19):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (10:20):
And number three the Terrifier movies. And in case you're
not familiar, this is art the clown.
Speaker 8 (10:26):
What if that guide to this, dear car Well cut
the clown.
Speaker 1 (10:32):
He's scarier looking than Penny Wise. Have you ever seen
any of this?
Speaker 8 (10:36):
I've never heard of it.
Speaker 1 (10:37):
Okay, well, it's pretty gruesome and now it's getting its
own video game, the Artcade Game.
Speaker 4 (10:42):
It'll be out in twenty twenty five.
Speaker 1 (10:44):
Nothing too fancy, though, this is a retro pixelated video game.
Speaker 5 (10:48):
You're in the note Three things to Know Today Jody's
top five entertainment stories of the week, brought to you.
Speaker 1 (10:55):
Buy Optima text Relief and look, I promise we'll get
to the Liam Payne investigation update, but I just didn't
want to put that in accountdown.
Speaker 4 (11:03):
I just didn't feel right about that, so we won't
start there. Number five so renewed public.
Speaker 1 (11:09):
Attention of the Menindez brothers case thanks to Well. The
relatives got together this week with the DA in LA
and say, look, this does need to be reopened. Their
abuse allegations and these guys were post traumatic stress disorder
and if all of this would have been brought to
light back in the nineties, this case would have been different,
(11:31):
the sentencing would have been different. And because of that,
everybody's watching the Netflix documentary The Menindez.
Speaker 9 (11:37):
Brothers kill their parents.
Speaker 1 (11:39):
Maybe one of the most watched documentaries true crime documentaries
and getting more and more views every by the minute.
Number four Remember the movie Smile, the Scary One.
Speaker 8 (11:51):
What do you want from me?
Speaker 4 (11:54):
Why is it that everybody else who's seen it as
dead in your life? Smile too?
Speaker 1 (11:58):
In theaters today and yet major League Baseball games, those
people have been showing up sitting there looking creepy, smiling.
That's why it's there today in time for Halloween, if
you will. Number three Laney Wilson set to perform during
the halftime show at the Dallas Cowboys game on Thanksgiving.
That's a big gig to get Dolly Parton performed last year,
(12:22):
remember dressed as a Dallas Cowboys cheerleader.
Speaker 4 (12:24):
And the other reason it's significant is.
Speaker 1 (12:26):
Because it's the kickoff to the holiday season for charity
for the Salvation Army Kelly, they kick off the Red
Kettle campaign. Laney has a lot to live up to,
but guess what, no worries about her bringing it. Number
two Disney let us all know this week that they've
decided to bring the Marvel Universe into the lives of
(12:47):
preschoolers with a new animated series called Marvel's Iron Man
and his Awesome Friends.
Speaker 8 (12:53):
Honestly, just one hundred people who want to kill me.
Speaker 4 (12:56):
It's kind of smart. So here's what's.
Speaker 1 (12:58):
Up on Disney Plus and Disney Junior in twenty twenty five.
It's an animated series about a young Tony Stark and
his friends and how they decide to make the world
a better place.
Speaker 4 (13:08):
It's a gateway for.
Speaker 1 (13:09):
Whenever they're old enough eleven twelve, whenever you decide, parents
that your kids can watch this. They're already like rooting
for Tony.
Speaker 4 (13:17):
It's smart on their part.
Speaker 5 (13:19):
Number one.
Speaker 1 (13:19):
Taylor Swift kicks off her final era I'm sorry, final
leg of the Aristour tonight, You're on the Arastour.
Speaker 4 (13:26):
We feel like every single night should be special.
Speaker 1 (13:29):
This one's in Miami and that's the reason that she
won't be seeing Travis Kelce, you know, on dates for
a while. He's going to be busy with the Chiefs.
She's going to be busy with this final leg.
Speaker 4 (13:40):
Coming up with Murphy, Sam and Jody more of.
Speaker 2 (13:42):
Your real life ghost stories. It's that time of year
eight seven seven three one zero four MSJ Stephanie, We're
coming to you next.
Speaker 4 (13:50):
It is time real life ghost stories.
Speaker 1 (13:52):
Do you have one, Whether it's something sweet like a grandparent,
or something actually scary that made you something was there,
something was going on, drop it on us eight seven
seven three one zero four MSJ.
Speaker 2 (14:08):
You go on, Stephanie.
Speaker 10 (14:10):
Well, yes, okay. So we owned a town home and
our daughter was born and she was about two or
three years old when this happened, and she loved love,
love taking baths, like love the water, everything about. She
was in the bathtub one night and we were in there,
you know, she was playing around and all of a
sudden she froze, looked over to the other end of
(14:33):
the bathtub, then slowly turned her head towards us and said, Mommy,
I want.
Speaker 9 (14:39):
To get out.
Speaker 10 (14:41):
And the look on her face, and I said, well,
you love the bath what's wrong? And her eyes went
sideway like over towards the other end of the bathtub again,
and she said, I'd really want to get out. And
so I'm really feel like she saw something right that,
(15:03):
you know, because kids, they you know, they say that
kids minds are pure and they see things that we
don't see.
Speaker 4 (15:08):
They're open.
Speaker 10 (15:09):
I really think that she saw something in there.
Speaker 8 (15:12):
Yep.
Speaker 10 (15:12):
So I immediately took her out and she was fine.
But after that happened, my husband and I just throughout
the house. Sometimes we would hear like small children, like laughing.
And this was when she wasn't home, so it was
just like creepy things like that.
Speaker 4 (15:28):
So and you don't live there anymore?
Speaker 10 (15:31):
No, no, no, So.
Speaker 4 (15:34):
When you did?
Speaker 2 (15:35):
You did you?
Speaker 4 (15:36):
Did you disclose that when you sold it?
Speaker 10 (15:40):
No? No, I left left it all to my.
Speaker 4 (15:43):
Realature yea, on their own right. They may not be
open to it.
Speaker 10 (15:48):
Yeah, yeah, it's still standing. The townhouse is still there,
so it's just yeah, yeah, it was pretty It was
pretty creepy, Thank you, Stephanie.
Speaker 2 (15:58):
At that age, you know, kids into the to an
open mind thing. I get all that, but they don't
usually have memory of it later either. That's weird, you
know what I mean. When you grow up, your parents
will tell you that story that it happened.
Speaker 1 (16:09):
Maybe you remember because of the story that you've been told,
or you remember.
Speaker 4 (16:13):
It depends on the age. But yes, keep it coming.
We love having you all. Long eight seven seven three
one zero four msj.
Speaker 2 (16:20):
Jody has your Hollywood Outsider. Next. Jody's Hollywood Outsider.
Speaker 1 (16:26):
Brought to you by Low's since the death of One
Directions Liam Payne this week and all the reports and
all the mystery that the investigation kind of being underway,
the world was waiting to hear from one of his bandmates,
Harry Styles, and so the word is that came down yesterday.
He posted on social media that he and his bandmates
(16:47):
are truly devastated. It was a lengthy thing and then
I will miss him always, my lovely friend. You know,
Harry is a private, private celebrity. He doesn't post a
lot kind of a you know, everybody was waiting for
those works.
Speaker 8 (17:02):
Louis and Zayne posted too. I didn't see him.
Speaker 1 (17:04):
Nile yet, not yet, and well actually Nile. He Liam
was in Argentina to see Nile perform. That's why he
was there. They had seen each other, yeah, backstage, just
days before. There's another report that floats around that's floating around.
We don't know for sure, but it's that he was
dropped by his record label a few days before his death,
(17:26):
and he was dealing with all these legalities and things
like that.
Speaker 8 (17:29):
I mean, that album that was supposed to come out
and everything.
Speaker 1 (17:31):
Right, and nobody knows if or when that's going to
come out now. Moving on to some other entertainment news
that's fun for you on a Friday. At least, there's
a Prince Charming movie in the works. Prince Charming to
get his own feature film by the makers of Wonka
and Paddington, possibly live action. You know, Prince Charmis is
always a supporting character, not anymore.
Speaker 3 (17:52):
Coming up with Murphy, Sam and Jody kind.
Speaker 1 (17:56):
Of is it okay to ever give someone a thrifted gift?
If you buy something, it doesn't matter if it's retail
or if you get a deal on it or whatever.
Speaker 4 (18:06):
You have something new.
Speaker 1 (18:07):
Let's just say it's a jacket and you wear it immediately.
You can't wait to get the tags off, and you
put it on your body. Right, that's the sign of winning,
correct If you cannot even wait, that's sort of.
Speaker 2 (18:21):
Like you pray on shoes, you buy them, and you
walk out of the store.
Speaker 4 (18:24):
I've done it. I've done putt my old shoes in
the box.
Speaker 2 (18:27):
And sometimes I needed the improved look immediately.
Speaker 4 (18:32):
Oh okay, I got a hot date to right. This
happened the other day with my mom.
Speaker 1 (18:39):
It was her birthday this week, and I took her
shopping thrifting whatever she wanted to do. I picked her up,
and she wanted to go to this designer consignment store
that we love to hit together.
Speaker 4 (18:49):
And by the way, I did. She picked up a
bunch of stuff.
Speaker 1 (18:54):
You know, she had some earrings and a jacket and
a necklace and it was a leather jacket and it
was a really good, screaming deal on it. And so
I surprised her with everywhere we went, I bought her stuff.
Speaker 4 (19:06):
So we Murphy bought her a new leather jacket. That's
her birthday.
Speaker 2 (19:10):
I think that's awesome. Did you really surprise her with
each one? It didn't become a pattern at some point? Okay,
you don't think your catch on at some point.
Speaker 1 (19:17):
Well, the next place we went was Alta, Yeah, and
she thought she was going to buy her makeup. Yeah,
And then I took it from her at the register
and said, I got this.
Speaker 4 (19:26):
It's your birthday.
Speaker 1 (19:27):
She goes really loud, Jody, that's forty dollars for makeup.
Speaker 4 (19:31):
And I was like, what I.
Speaker 2 (19:33):
Know, night, I've gotten more, you know, And had I
been there, I would have said, absolutely, you're worth at
least forty dollars.
Speaker 8 (19:40):
The next place you go to did she ramp up
a little?
Speaker 1 (19:43):
Well, we only went to those two places. Actually, then
we took her to dinner, so then we all went
to dinner. Anyway, did you notice that she was wearing
her leather jacket?
Speaker 2 (19:50):
It did, she was, and she looked really happy. She
looked company and it was handy because the ac was
really freezing the place out that we were eating it.
Speaker 4 (19:57):
She take the.
Speaker 1 (19:58):
Tags out, of course, she took the tag out, But
I thought I was sitting across from park going.
Speaker 4 (20:03):
Look at her.
Speaker 1 (20:04):
First of all, she looks super stylish. It was a
very thin, tailored fit sort of leather jacket. It's so cute,
and she looks I think she looks younger in it.
Speaker 2 (20:13):
Well, she's got good genes, genetics, that is what I mean.
So how much did you pay for this jacket?
Speaker 10 (20:19):
You want?
Speaker 4 (20:20):
Sixteen bucks?
Speaker 2 (20:21):
You mean we?
Speaker 8 (20:21):
How much did we bucks?
Speaker 4 (20:24):
A screaming deal.
Speaker 2 (20:25):
That's a huge deal.
Speaker 4 (20:26):
Coming up next. Three things to Know Today. Three things
to Know Today brought to you by Verizon number one,
and we'll all agree.
Speaker 1 (20:36):
Science confirming now that if you have a cold, or
you have a couple drinks too many, it's much harder
to recover from once you're past the age of forty,
we all feel that it's for everything. Colds, bumps, and bruises.
Bad night's sleep is harder for your body. It's called
biological resilience.
Speaker 8 (20:55):
It's called aging.
Speaker 4 (20:56):
It is called aging.
Speaker 1 (20:58):
It's also because of a decline your muscle mass around
the time you turn forty.
Speaker 4 (21:02):
If you want to get you know scientific about it.
Speaker 1 (21:05):
Number two, Miami says they are ready for Taylor Swift.
Speaker 4 (21:09):
Welcome to the Ears.
Speaker 1 (21:11):
To the erastour kicks off tonight in Miami, and they're
ready because they need the cash flow. She injects three
hundred million into the economy. That's what she did in
La one hundred million into Cincinnati when she was in there.
That's what happens. Hotels, restaurants, you name it. So Miami says,
bring it Taylor all weekend please. And number three, the
(21:32):
Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony is this
weekend on Saturday for the class of twenty twenty four.
Remember who's being inducted, Mary J. Blige, share Dave Matthew's
band is a big class foreigner, so many cool in
the gang and also Ozzy.
Speaker 8 (21:50):
Is he going to perform?
Speaker 4 (21:51):
We still don't know. We'll find out this weekend. You're
in the know. Three things to know today.
Speaker 1 (21:58):
We love connecting with you on Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube.
You can also email us at Murphy saman Jody dot com.
Speaker 2 (22:06):
So, Sam, I had an unexpected surprise happened to me
the other day when I hopped out of the shower.
You know, No, no, on the floor. No, it wasn't that.
It was unexpected arrival of a person. No, I'm just kidding.
I was gonna say another person showed up. That's not true. Crazy, No, no, no,
for real. No, I'm stepping on the shower and I'm
getting dressed, and as I'm getting dressed, I'm realizing something
(22:31):
doesn't feel right. This doesn't feel right. What I just
put on, this pair of underwear does not feel right.
Now before you think I put on Jody's, that's not
where I'm going for No, no, no, no, no, this
isn't This was a guy's pair of underwear. But I
knew it wasn't mine because you know that, right, I mean,
it's that's the kind of thing you instinctly know. It's
a feel. If it's yours, you know it. Because I
guess that's why they call it intimate apparel. It was
(22:53):
just tighter than I was used to exactly. They go, yeah,
and so I put them on, I took, you know,
and so I decided to change and I looked It's like, oh, wow,
these are not mine.
Speaker 4 (23:04):
Then he came to me, Hey, here's.
Speaker 2 (23:06):
An interesting question. This is a pair of men's underwear
that I don't recognize in our house. If we had
any visitors lately, I need to be aware of and so,
you know, and then the next question becomes, oh, whoa
well do we need to ask our daughter?
Speaker 8 (23:22):
Is about something one of the boyfriends?
Speaker 2 (23:25):
But actually, what wand up happening? There was there was
some friends. There were some friends that spent the night
and it turned out it was a huge group of
friends and just one of the guys you know, had
left some of his clothes behind. That's what it was.
But we found when you put a pair of someone
else's underwear one, you know, and then the then all
(23:47):
the questions start to mount. You know, it's like, how
how did these get in here?
Speaker 4 (23:53):
You know, I feel bad for you too, because that's
got to feel weird.
Speaker 2 (23:56):
It felt weird and even when they even when you
know they've been Washington clean because there were folded, they
were in my drawer. Yeah, it's still somebody else, you
know what I'm saying.
Speaker 8 (24:04):
It's like I've done it before, where I washed the clothes,
I fold the clothes, put it away in my drawer
and take it out and it belongs to one of
the kids, my.
Speaker 4 (24:11):
Sons, and you're like, whoa, yeah, when.
Speaker 8 (24:13):
They were much younger, you know, and whoa. I can't
even get a leg again, and it's like what is this?
Speaker 2 (24:19):
Yeah, and it's just a little too close for comfort,
you know, because it's somebody else's. It kind of reminds
me of sort of the intimate searches of experience at
the airport, you know what I mean, every now and
then when things get a little closer than you want
them to be.
Speaker 1 (24:31):
We decided not to say anything to the girl's friends
about it because it's like once it's already been in
my laundry.
Speaker 2 (24:39):
Yeah right right.
Speaker 4 (24:41):
It's just it's done. You lost a pair of underwear.
You're never getting them back.
Speaker 2 (24:44):
I don't want to leave them by the front Door's
the case they come over, they're.
Speaker 4 (24:47):
Gone coming up with Murphy Salmon.
Speaker 1 (24:49):
Jodi another real life ghost story coming to you next, Erica,
what's your real life ghost story? Sweet or scary? We're
ready for it. Eight seven seven three one zero.
Speaker 2 (25:01):
What's yours?
Speaker 8 (25:02):
Erica.
Speaker 9 (25:03):
I grew up in a town that has a very
well known haunted history, and one day I don't remember
exactly what I was doing, but I went to stop
for lunch at this little local pizza place that was
built into an old hospital.
Speaker 4 (25:19):
Oh okay, so.
Speaker 11 (25:21):
Like the hospital is very small. It's like an old
Sacred Heart hospital from like the early nineteen hundred. Wow,
and there was you know, they preserved the building and
everything like that, and they built like random businesses in
different parts of hospitals. Well, I went into the pizza
place that ordered my food, and then I was like, okay,
I'm gonna go to the bathroom waiting on my food.
So I go in the bathroom and there's nobody there,
(25:42):
so you know, I'm in the stall doing my business,
and then all of a sudden, I hear this pounding
like somebody's just like pow pow pow pound on the
stall door next to me, and it scared.
Speaker 9 (25:54):
Me, and so I screamed. And then I hear this
like laughing and so I'm like, okay, you know. So
at this point I'm mad because I'm thinking it's like,
you know, somebody playing a joke or prank or whatever. Really,
So I go and I wash my hands, and I
stand by the scene for a minute waiting for somebody
to come out, and so I'm looking under the stall doors.
There's no feat. I go back out and I tell
(26:17):
the lady. I was like, hey, I was in the
bathroom and this and this happened, and the lady started laughing.
She thought it was funny. The waitress and she's like, oh,
that's just Jesse. He does that to everybody. I'm like, well,
who's Jesse? And he shouldn't be in the women's.
Speaker 4 (26:31):
Yeah, he couldn't, you know.
Speaker 9 (26:32):
And she's like oh no, no, no, no no. She's like,
he's not a live person, is what she said. And
I'm like, what do you mean, Oh my god. Well,
the bath rooms were actually built in the old Morgue,
and Jesse is a spirit and he was a prankster.
He used to be a custodian person that worked at
the hospital and he likes to play pranks on people.
(26:54):
That was just him. He doesn't mean you any harm.
He just probably thought it was funny. Oh my gosh,
what I didn't actually see the person, but I heard him, yeah, laughing.
Speaker 8 (27:07):
So Erica, was it a just a regular laugh or
was it one of those?
Speaker 9 (27:12):
No, it was a laugh, like somebody was laughing at
a joke, right.
Speaker 4 (27:16):
Okay, crazy, I hope your pizza was good worth it.
It was so funny. Thank you for this crazy, no problem, y'all.
Speaker 9 (27:25):
Have an excellent day and happy Halloween.
Speaker 4 (27:27):
Happy Halloween.
Speaker 2 (27:28):

By Low's Ryan Murphy's horror series Grotesque. Arie has a
major plot twist that, by the way, Nissi nash Bets
knew about when she signed up. And you can binge
this well right now. By the way, on Fax, it's
like a hole.
Speaker 4 (27:53):
Opened up in the world.
Speaker 6 (27:59):
To nothingness.
Speaker 1 (28:02):
So the week, the episode this week that dropped on
Fax is the major, big plot twist, that's all we
will say. But she knew about it when she was
offered the part, and she said yes because of the twist.
Sign me up, I know, and you can binge it now,
okay on Fax, this is the one with Travis Kelcey
in it too. Ryan Murphy, by the way, said of
Travis Kelcey, he knew it would work when he offered
(28:23):
him apart because he's like, he's a star, a star
as a star as a star, and apparently he was
fabulous to work with. And the other news coming from
Ryan Murphy, I guess that when you work with Travis
kelce people ask you about his girlfriend.
Speaker 8 (28:36):
Do you know Taylor Swift?
Speaker 1 (28:37):
And the word is that he even before he knew
Travis had approached Taylor Swift various times over the years
because he would want to work with her, and he
sent projects her way.
Speaker 4 (28:48):
And the word is she probably would do it if
she had the time.
Speaker 8 (28:51):
Well maybe when she's done with the aras.
Speaker 4 (28:53):
He has this other little gig, yes called the Aerostour.
Speaker 2 (28:57):
Sam's always up on the new eats, the food du.
Speaker 4 (29:01):
Brought to you by Chick fil A.
Speaker 8 (29:02):
Oh, your Starbucks fans, got some big changes coming to
the rewards program and freebies and all that stuffs. The
new CEO he just started last month, he says, you
know what, we're gonna be scaling back on promotions around here,
Like you know, back during the inflation days, we gave
away all these freebies and had Bogo deals and if
your Rewards member, you got points for doing this.
Speaker 4 (29:23):
And I think times are still hard.
Speaker 8 (29:26):
Why but he says, you know what, now we're just
going to boost our advertising efforts to increase holiday sales
instead of offering seasonal discounts and all that stuff.
Speaker 2 (29:33):
Oh ouch, that's holiday cheer.
Speaker 6 (29:36):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (29:36):
Thanks, And they're not going to get rid of their
their programs.
Speaker 10 (29:40):
Now.
Speaker 8 (29:40):
The program's still there, but they're not going to have
as many of those special one they used to have,
where like you buy us coffee in the morning, you
come back at three, you get a freebie.
Speaker 2 (29:47):
Yeah. Well, if you're a member, you also get points
and then eventually get enough points to get a free coffee.
Speaker 4 (29:53):
Didn't you just hear about it?
Speaker 8 (29:54):
Yeah, to increase how many points you need for a
small or what are they called tall?
Speaker 2 (30:01):
Tall?
Speaker 4 (30:02):
They're called tall.
Speaker 8 (30:03):
Yeah. Whole Foods is going to be changing back the
chantilly cake to what it originally used to be. What
apparently they've been accused of skimpflation. Oh yeah, changing up
the flavor of it. The fruit used to be on
the top. Now it's on the side, and they apparently
the fruit inside they changed it to like jam or
jelly or something.
Speaker 4 (30:20):
Dum Murphy's favorite cakes.
Speaker 2 (30:24):
Ever, can't cut corners in a chantilla cake.
Speaker 4 (30:27):
I mean it's not a cheap cake either, So so they're.
Speaker 8 (30:30):
Going to go back to the way it was made,
the right way.
Speaker 1 (30:34):
Uh.
Speaker 8 (30:34):
Looking ahead to Thanksgiving, Popeye says we're gonna have Cajun
turkeys again this year, so look us up. If you
want more, only ninety nine dollars, you can order it
right now and do Giorno if you want something a
little cheaper than ninety nine dollars, is bringing back their
Thanksgiving pizza.
Speaker 4 (30:49):
Oh cute.
Speaker 8 (30:50):
It's gonna have well well on the pizza, turkey, green beans,
gravy sauce, cranberries, cheddar cheese, and crispy onions.
Speaker 10 (30:57):
Ok.
Speaker 8 (30:58):
How cute is that?
Speaker 1 (30:59):
The truth of the Thanksgiving can be anything you want
it to be. It doesn't have to be a hugely
expensive meal.
Speaker 2 (31:04):
That's a faster way to eat your Thanksgiving dinner anyway. Yeah,
one slice and you're done. Yeah.
Speaker 8 (31:09):
And if you like club crackers, here's we got one
for the holidays. Cinnamon sugar club crackers.
Speaker 2 (31:14):
Oh interesting that sounds about it.
Speaker 8 (31:17):
It would be great for one of those sweet dips
Speaker 4 (31:19):
You know, completely perfect, Thank you food dude.
