the baby beforehand, then you say the name. Otherwise you're
going to be saying both names. Or you see how

love it when people take their time with it. I
also like it when you know immediately. I like, you
come across it and you're like, that's it. You know,
when you know, you know I wanted to bring it
up because the emerging baby name trend for twenty twenty
five is it's called ivy league names, names like taking

your taking a family last name and that becoming a
baby's first name. You heard it, Brooks. You know there's
an old grandpa Brooks and then you name your boy Brooks.
It happens. It's been a trend for a while, but
they're they're saying it's more popular now. So in twenty
twenty five, you know, people who are pregnant right now
are doing ivy league names.

I guess this is better if the if the family
no longer uses that last name as a last name.

I'm gonna say Brooks Brooks.

Yeah that makes sense. Okay, my I have a cousin
whose dad's family name was Castin and then he has
a different name. It's a long story. He named his
son Castan, so that's his first name. It's a great name.

And when they did that, I was like, Oh, that's fantastic, Dick,
So Cooper is another one, frasier for boys.

you were talking about the universities because I actually knew
a family, My dad knew them, actually a Bardwell family,
and so they had children Princeton Duke.

Eve traditions with my family. Okay, we always want to
hear those. We have three young children and an adult
autistic child at home. On Christmas Eve, we each open

a special box. It will have pajamas, a pillow, a blanket,
and their favorite snacks, a hot chocolate mug, hot chocolate,
and either a book or a movie where this is going.
Then we will sit down and read the books to
the kids and then get get on our jammies, cuddle
up with our new pillow and blanket and watch the

movies as a family.

That's fun, I'm here to say.

Then we will. Of course, if it was you, Samy
would be like, is this a pillow and a blanket? Again?

look forward to that you know what you did, dying
to know what they look like. It's kind of like,
you know, Jo, do you give your mom a different

for Santa track so that in the morning the kids

Stranger Things on Netflix. We get our final season and

for all the imagination that that show has brought us
in horror and I don't know, tender moments all that,
we all feel like children watching that and we're scared
and all that. To me, it's like even Game of
Thrones couldn't do it. Seinfeld couldn't do it. No show
has ever ended in a way that made anybody feel sad.

There's always just hated it.

I wonder if it's just because you really don't want
it to end. You know what I'm saying that it's.

Not that it's hard to end. I think, yeah, nobody, Yeah,
it's it's just hard to do it in a way
to wrap things up is harder. And so David Harber,
who plays Hopper on the show, he said it again.
He did this last like early this year, and he'd
said it again, this is going to be worth the weight,
he says. He know it's ending is always tricky, but
he thinks the finale is spectacular. He says, it might

not be a nice neat bow. You know, it doesn't
mean that you are going to be happy or sad.
You might be a little of both, he says, but
it's going to give you satisfaction as a viewer.

make it. Take it. Which pumpkin bread is a part
of that. But right now we're not making anything. Maybe
you're like me. You don't have a lot of time
this season. You got work, you got shopping still to do,
you got a house full of company coming.

So when you're a husband who won't make.
Speaker 2 (07:52):
Bread, I'm hearing to make for you to make pumpkin bread. No.
For someone you want to gift, well, like a neighbor
or some friends or a couple, you want to give
them something really good, but you don't have time to
make it or whatever. This is good for anybody. I
will never forget the first year I was given I
was gifted this, and I had I would have never
bought it for myself, and I enjoyed it immensely. It

was a bottle of lemon infused olive oil, and I
was like, WHOA, what's.

This That's interesting?
Speaker 2 (08:21):
And it was delicious. I made lemon chicken with I
just made chicken with it, and it was I would
have cooked it in olive oil anyway. And that was
my introduction into those kinds of gifts, those kinds of food,
specifically olive oils and vinegars like flavored. And now you know,
I have like ten bottles at the house. Murphy, don't
(08:42):
get me started on my pomegranate vinegar. You know, I
love it. It's a lot pomegran It's fantastic anyway. So
there's garlic infuse.

Yeah, I've had garlic olive oil that is.
Speaker 2 (08:57):
And here's another thing. If you want to up the know,
up the game a little bit, when you walk it
over the day before you bring it over, or an
hour before you bring it over, you know, buy that
wherever at a specialty shop, bring it with fresh bread
from a bakery and they can dip and have it
with bread. Right then, it's just it's a suggestion, or

stop at a bakery and get a fresh box of
macrons or something like that, you know what I mean.
It's a nice gift that they wouldn't necessarily buy for themselves.
But you don't have to get in the kitchen and
do it.

time to put up your Christmas tree? Well, if it's
an artificial anytime December first, right after Thanksgiving. But if
you ask Christmas tree growers, they say the best maintained

trees start losing needles and turning brown by the third week,
which makes now now is fine. If you're doing the
real tree, it'll look healthy all the way through the season.
That's the hope. If you don't have your tree up yet,
I don't and I want to. And Number three women's
basketball sensation in Indiana, Fever guard Caitlin Clark has been

All Star. She made the All WNBA First Team. She

know what show is coming to an end next year,
Stranger Things on Netflix. We get our final season and

for all the imagination that that show has brought us
in horror and I don't know, tender moments all that,
we all feel like children watching that and we're scared
and all that. To me, it's like even Game of
Thrones couldn't do it. Seinfeld couldn't do it. No show
has ever ended in a way that made anybody feel sad.

There's always just hated it.

You know.
Speaker 1 (06:17):
I wonder if it's just because you really don't want
it to end. You know what I'm saying that it's.
Speaker 2 (06:21):
Not that it's hard to end. I think, yeah, nobody, Yeah,
it's it's just hard to do it in a way
to wrap things up is harder. And so David Harber,
who plays Hopper on the show, he said it again.
He did this last like early this year, and he'd
said it again, this is going to be worth the weight,
he says. He know it's ending is always tricky, but
he thinks the finale is spectacular. He says, it might

not be a nice neat bow. You know, it doesn't
mean that you are going to be happy or sad.
You might be a little of both, he says, but
it's going to give you satisfaction as a viewer.

you're like me. You don't have a lot of time
this season. You got work, you got shopping still to do,
you got a house full of company coming.

So when you're a husband who won't make.

Bread, I'm hearing to make for you to make pumpkin bread. No.
For someone you want to gift, well, like a neighbor
or some friends or a couple, you want to give
them something really good, but you don't have time to
make it or whatever. This is good for anybody. I
will never forget the first year I was given I
was gifted this, and I had I would have never
bought it for myself, and I enjoyed it immensely. It

was a bottle of lemon infused olive oil, and I
was like, WHOA, what's.
Speaker 3 (08:20):
This That's interesting?
Speaker 2 (08:21):
And it was delicious. I made lemon chicken with I
just made chicken with it, and it was I would
have cooked it in olive oil anyway. And that was
my introduction into those kinds of gifts, those kinds of food,
specifically olive oils and vinegars like flavored. And now you know,
I have like ten bottles at the house. Murphy, don't
(08:42):
get me started on my pomegranate vinegar. You know, I
love it. It's a lot pomegran It's fantastic anyway. So
there's garlic infuse.
Speaker 3 (08:53):
Yeah, I've had garlic olive oil that is.
Speaker 2 (08:57):
And here's another thing. If you want to up the know,
up the game a little bit, when you walk it
over the day before you bring it over, or an
hour before you bring it over, you know, buy that
wherever at a specialty shop, bring it with fresh bread
from a bakery and they can dip and have it
with bread. Right then, it's just it's a suggestion, or

stop at a bakery and get a fresh box of
macrons or something like that, you know what I mean.
It's a nice gift that they wouldn't necessarily buy for themselves.
But you don't have to get in the kitchen and
do it.

And at the end of it, it's like saying, you

don't know what this is, and the answer was, that's correct.
It's not an American phenomenon, though it's happening around the
world in Mexico, Vietnam, China, Argentina. These things have been
seen and they're unidentified. Number Two, when is the best
time to put up your Christmas tree? Well, if it's
an artificial anytime December first, right after Thanksgiving. But if
you ask Christmas tree growers, they say the best maintained

trees start losing needles and turning brown by the third week,
which makes now now is fine. If you're doing the
real tree, it'll look healthy all the way through the season.
That's the hope. If you don't have your tree up yet,
I don't and I want to. And Number three women's
basketball sensation in Indiana, Fever guard Caitlin Clark has been

named Time Magazine's Athlete of the Year. She was an
All Star. She made the All WNBA First Team. She
