Blake Lively made sure Ryan Reynolds was part of her World Cup experience with a sweet FaceTime call just weeks after the couple's headline-making Taylor Swift wedding snub. Meanwhile, Jerry O'Connell is finally admitting ex Giuliana Rancic was right about their painful breakup more than two decades later. And despite all the hype surrounding Madonna's World Cup halftime performance, the appearance failed to boost her music sales while Shakira, Justin Bieber, and BTS enjoyed major streaming and chart gains.

Speaker 1 (00:03):
Thank ye shooters, No, no, and no and never know.

Speaker 2 (00:14):
Welcome to the Naughty but NICEA.

Speaker 3 (00:16):
I'm your host from Shooter this Tuesday, which means our
dear friend Delana and Dixon joins us. Hey, mister are
you there. I am.

Speaker 4 (00:22):
I missed you guys last Tuesday, but I'm back and
I love seeing you this past week.

Speaker 3 (00:28):
Mister Shooter, you were so sweet. So it was my
birthday last week. Thank you so much for all the
kind messages, the notes, the dms, the emails, the text.

Speaker 2 (00:35):
Thank you, thank you, thank you. Delana took me out
you know where.

Speaker 3 (00:38):
We went to Botino's on Friday with our friends Alex
and Sarah and we sat there and we drank way
too much champagne and had a lovely evening. So thank you,
thank you, thank you. Let's jump into the show. What
time is it, my friends?

Speaker 2 (00:50):
It is tee type big story at the top of
the show.

Speaker 3 (00:54):
So Blake Lively was spotted facetiming Ryan Reynolds at the
World Cup after the Taylor Swift wedding snub. So Blake
was there. She was with her new girl squad.

Speaker 2 (01:05):
The fact I.

Speaker 3 (01:06):
Do not recognize any of the other ladies in this
photograph tells you it's a very different squad than the
Taylor Swift squad. Now we're not judging here people on fame.

Speaker 2 (01:16):
You can have the best squad in the world.

Speaker 3 (01:18):
I do, none of whom are famous. Hanging out with
famous people just for the sake of it is dumb.
But we do know that Blake very much enjoys the
attention she posted this picture. This picture wasn't taken by accident.
It didn't pop up on Getty Images or the Associated press.
She posted this picture. She was in the stands. What

(01:38):
is noticeable is Ryan was not with her, and also too,
which is probably even more upsetting to Blake. Her seats
aren't quite as good now she's not sitting with Taylor Swifts.
And when you have a friend like Taylor, I'm lucky
enough to know they're not necessarily by friends. But we
know some famous people. When I rock out with my

(01:59):
face as friends or so, I mean you, mister, we
get a better table, We get a better seat. We do.
Like I know, if I rock up at a restaurant
with someone that sold eighty million records, you know who
I'm talking about, we will get a really good seat.

Speaker 5 (02:14):
Now, if he's not with us. We could get to
the same place and we're gonna be suited in the back,
and that's just how life works. What do you think
about the adjustment. Blake is clearly, clearly sending us a
message that she's happy, she's out there, she's got her friends,
she's got girlfriends, she's not frying. What do you think
about all this.

Speaker 4 (02:31):
Well, I think it's kind of her Blake Lively redemption tour.
You know, the case has finally come to kind of
a close and she has to kind of it didn't
go the way she wanted it to, so now she
has to rebuild this life. I'm happy, I have a
beautiful husband. We know that Ryan was in Canada at

(02:53):
a watching party and he was commentating the entire time. He's,
you know, very into the football sock. He owns a
small team, so it made sense that he went to
his hometown and was participating there. But she's got to
rebuild who people thought she was before this whole thing
went down with Justin Baldoni. So she is doing that

(03:13):
and you're gonna see pictures. I think leaning into the
family and friends is the best thing for her to
do right now. Instead of pushing projects, which just kind
of feels, you know, maybe a little desperate, like, look,
I'm living a happy life. I'm still in the room.
Maybe not the bust seats, but I'm still in the room.
And we know getting in the room is the first
step to get into the buss seat.

Speaker 3 (03:34):
That's true, Miesty, that's true. Turn up, get into the room.
A really good point there. If I was her publicist,
die i am not. If I was working with her,
I'd say you need to lean into being a good
friend because that's where you were hurt the most. Nobody
ever claimed she was a bad mom. That just did
not happen.

Speaker 2 (03:50):
She's a great mom.

Speaker 3 (03:51):
Nobody claimed she was a bad wife. Her and Ryan
are clearly a couple where she has a problem. Her
achilles heel is being a badame friend and we know
that because of what's happened with Taylor. So I think,
actually it is so much smarter to show us photographs.
Have you been a good girlfriend than you've been a
good mommy or a good wife, because I think we

(04:12):
know that you are, and so find out what your
weakness is and then attack that. What is the weakness
that people say about you? What is the one thing
that people say about you. It is so interesting. I
heard criticism from Corey that when I first met Corey,
he said he was like very excited to be my friend,

(04:33):
and he asked a few people about me, and they said,
Rob Shooter is a very nice guy. However, he gets
bored very quickly and will find a new best friend
by the end of the week. Corey and I have
now been friends for five years. So the way to
prove that rumor wrong. The rumor does not have to
be true, by the way, but the way to prove
something wrong is by doing the opposite. And actually, I

(04:56):
would argue I'm a really good friends. There's people in
my life who I've known thirty forty fifty. Yes, I
hold onto paper very good. What would be thank you, mister?
What would be your a killer's here? What would be
the criticism? What do you have to push back on?

Speaker 4 (05:10):
I have to push back on people thinking that I
am afraid to take bold chances. As we know, I
did a TV show once and that was probably a
very big ball chance. So I don't take them often.
But when I do their big swings, it's paid off
because I've had you as a friend for almost twenty years,

(05:31):
and that's the best part of doing the show.

Speaker 2 (05:33):
Thank you. Thanks.

Speaker 3 (05:34):
Let's point out another big swing. You started to make
some videos. On Friday, we were talking about how you
love bringing you gossip and celebrity news. I'm brilliant at it.
But at background, we are journalists, we are writers. Sit
mist behind a keyboard and ten minutes later you'll have
the best story of the night. However, if I told
you to tell it a video, it might be a

(05:56):
little bit more difficult for you to do. So you've
start doing these videos. So let's all support Misty on
her videos, which brings us to our pole question. After
the day, Blake Lively is trying to prove to the
world that she still has good friends, that she's out there,
She's got girlfriends were seen photographs of her smiling, having
a wonderful time.

Speaker 2 (06:16):
Does it feel desperate? Do you read through it? Is
this desperate?

Speaker 3 (06:19):
Is it better to just take a few months off
disappear You're so overexposed. Everybody is sick of talking about
just In Baldoni and Blake Lively and Taylor'swood. Maybe it's
time to take a minute off. What do you think
does it feel desperate, take a vote on our x page,
at Twitter page at Naughty Nice rob at Facebook page
is Naughty Gossip, and be sure to check back tomorrow

(06:43):
to hear your results. Hey missy, what are you working
on there?

Speaker 4 (06:48):
Well, you know a lot of people when they hear
the name Jerry O'Connell, they just think he's the nicest
guy in the world. Yes, but he is admitting that
he did make one major mistake. So he's owning up
to having one of the messiest breakups in Hollywood. So
he had been teating Juliana Ransick. In her memoir, she
wrote about being dumped over his condo intercom, and he's

(07:11):
now saying that it very well could be true. I
want to say the cold word. I just want to
emphasize that even if you can't remember the exact words.
So he confessed he's terrible boyfriend, and he revealed that
another woman was inside the condo. So it's not very
well could be true. It was true when Juliana arrived,
and so instead of like dealing with this confrontation, which.

Speaker 3 (07:33):
Would have been a little messy, he.

Speaker 4 (07:35):
Just turned Juliana away at the girl at the gate.
And he's now praising her shop writing and turning his
bad behavior into a very memorable story. So sometimes you
got to fess up. I know it took twenty years,
but at least he's fessing up. I mean, Rob, have
you ever had to like I don't know, You've been
so happily married for a long time, never been in

(07:56):
this situation?

Speaker 2 (07:57):
Yeah, I mean I've.

Speaker 3 (07:58):
Been cool, like naughty, let's just say lies, Like I've
be called out when I'm meant to be somewhere and
I'm not. It's often with friends. With me, with Bruce,
I'm a solid as a rock, but with friends, I
take on too much. So one night I might be
out with one friend and I might get a text
from another saying where are you? And I pretend that
I'm home with a cold or I'm not really like

(08:18):
I have. I mean, I've done that. I tried not
to do it. I try to live the life that
I would be proud of as a young boy. I
always think, with ten year old Rob Shooter like this
version of you now and if the answer is yes,
then I'm normally doing something good. But I know Jerry
a little bit. He is the nicest guy, which is
why he is admitting to this. A lot of celebrities
would never ever be able to tell this story because

(08:40):
they'd be too embarrassed. He's a flawed guy. We all
are all flawed human beings. Because you mess up once
does not make you a bad person. It makes you
somebody that made a bad decision, and so this is
a bad decision. I love that he's talking about it.
Juliana Ransick was like my straight crush. She was my
friend when she was on E with Ryan Seacrest. I
used to see her all the time, would email text,

(09:00):
She was so kind to my career. She's the one
that really encouraged me to start doing TV. I knew
her when I was a publicist, and then she was like,
you should be on TV and she even arranged an
interview with me and E News. I didn't get it
because I wasn't going to move to LA. It was
when E News was based out of LA and I'm
not leaving my wonderful life here. But Juliana Ransack set
me up. She's one of those people who isn't just

(09:21):
our friends because we can be helpful to her and
we have a lot of those mystery You're an Ebaney
You're a major magazine. Everybody wants to be in that magazine.
And I do my thing too, so lots of people
will want to be my friend for for reasons that
are not necessarily me. But what I could do for
Julianna was not that she helped me more than I
ever helped her. She's really smart. I hope her book

(09:43):
goes back up the charts. That was years ago this
book came out, but it's a delicious read, all about Hollywood,
all about dating, really really fun and Jerry, I really
like that you are omitting this in your cheeky way. Okay,
moving along, where's Craig Melvin? So if you turned on
the Today Show? Where is he? He's missing? Well he's
on VOCA this week. It does look a little suspicious,
doesn't it, because last week there was an intruder at

(10:05):
the Today Show. Now he has disappeared. This was a
family vacation that was planned, So I do get you
don't want to let one crazy person, one intruder, one troublemaker,
ruin your family holiday. The kids were looking forward to it,
his wife was looking forward to it. Should Craig have
been at the show this week? Just approved to America
that he didn't run away maybe or maybe he should

(10:28):
just go on vacation with his kids. What would have
you done, mistyve would have you stayed at the show
this week saying I'm not leaving.

Speaker 2 (10:35):
I'm going to prove them wrong? Or is a vacation
a vacation with your kids?

Speaker 4 (10:38):
I mean, if he did out the rest of last week,
that's proof enough. He doesn't have to prove to anyone.
I mean if a you know, especially in our community,
family is everything. So I'm always say a family before anything.
So I'm not canceling the family plans. I'm going. I'm
gonna be there, And you know, it's a nice break
just from everything that happened. You know, the universe works

(11:01):
in such strange ways that they would have this trip
planned right after this happened. So it's like I'm already
taking it. I get to get away, I get a
moment to breathe.

Speaker 2 (11:10):
It's all good, it's all good, It's all good. Okay.

Speaker 3 (11:13):
What isn't so good here is that we all saw
Madonna performing get the halftime show she expected, and I
think a lot of us expected. The reason she did this,
she wasn't paid to do it. The reason she did
it is to sell albums. After you perform on a
big show. Normally, most often hopefully your albums go through
the roof. What is the actual numbers? What's going on

(11:35):
with the albums of Shakira, Biba, BTS and Madonna.

Speaker 2 (11:38):
What's happening?

Speaker 4 (11:39):
Yeah, so they all saw their albums surge in the
iTunes charts. You know, so the top ten after the broadcast,
Manada's new single and her classic hits failed to crack
the charts. So you know, she did that pre taped performance.
It kind of drew mixed reactions. We know she walked
out with two famous Brazilian soccer stars, but many of

(12:02):
viewers are questioning the creative direction and the song choices.
And you know, when we think of Madonna, I mean,
Madonna could go to an opening of an envelope and
it would have sold records. She's in a different phase
of her life. I hear confessions too is amazing, It's great,
and maybe it'll take a little bit longer. You know, well,

(12:23):
let's say she grew up with gen X. Maybe we
take a minute longer to go and buy something where
you know, gen Z is like right there on the
TikTok and the toych doing it. Yeah, I think we
might see the numbers go up. It might just be
more of a steady climb than like a huge jump.

Speaker 1 (12:38):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (12:38):
The tough part of that argument is they did go
up for Shakira and Justin Bieber and BTS, so people
were buying records, they just chose not to buy Madonna's.
And I think we've got to be honestly. I love Madonna.
I think it was the song. I don't think it
was the smartest Madonna knows. I've been there, I've been
in stadiums and Madonna has set the place on fire.
Madonna knows how to get eighty thousand people dancing, I've

(12:59):
seen it.

Speaker 2 (12:59):
But she vogue. She does like a prayer. She does like.

Speaker 3 (13:03):
A virgin, like she does one of her Monster Monster hits.
And had she come out and done material girl or
like a prayer, that whole stadium would have gone nuts.
We saw her at Cochella with Sabrina Carpenter doing like
a prayer. It was brilliant. I think the other problem, too,
is that filming her in the garage behind the stage

(13:23):
was a big mistake because eighty thousand people didn't know
where Madonna was. They were watching her on a monitor.
They were standing in the stadium. They heard the music,
but they couldn't see her because she's behind. If you're
going to turn up, if you ask me to perform
at a halftime show, I don't want to perform in
my bathroom and.

Speaker 2 (13:40):
Zoom it in.

Speaker 3 (13:40):
I'm going to come and perform. And so I think
the whole thing was misguided and unfortunately a big missed opportunity. Okay, quickly,
before we get a break, we have a Prince Harry,
a rebrand exclusive. The Cheeky Chappie is back. So sources
tell me that Harry is done with being moody and
grumpy and he wants the old re back. Was on
James Corden's show after the World Cup and he was

(14:03):
really adorable. They asked him to rank the best British Harris,
Harry Styles Potter, Harry Potter, Prince Harry. It was just hilarious.
He played along. He was the old Harry. Now we
have to remember that in his book Spare, which he wrote,
it's his book, it's his words. We know we had

(14:23):
a ghost writer, but he signed off on that. So
that's evidence. In court, if we were in a court
that he said that whole image of being cheeky and
naughty was imposed on him by the palace, and he
was always a very serious, deep thinker. Nonsense, you were
not a deep thinker. And that's why we love you, Harry.
Be you. Whenever you try to be fancy, or whenever

(14:44):
you try to be another version of yourself, you always fail.
And I think for the last five six years, Harry's
been trying to be this ambassador, this very smart deep thinker.
He's been taking self help classes and he wants to
give us advice. And what he thinks is the psychic
of American young No, go out.

Speaker 2 (15:04):
Play football, go to the pub.

Speaker 5 (15:06):
Be you.

Speaker 3 (15:08):
I'm not telling you anybody here to be goofy if
you're not naturally goofy. But if you are naturally goofy,
be if you're naturally serious, be you. The only way
you have any chance of winning it life is by
being the real you. When I started this show Mystery,
I try to be Diane Sawyer.

Speaker 2 (15:26):
I try to be very smart, very.

Speaker 3 (15:29):
And it's just not me. The reason the show's are
head is because we are.

Speaker 4 (15:34):
A serious one. Like I mean, I definitely have a
goofy side, but people, you know, I am kind of
pretty serious, so I have to lean into that sometimes
and sometimes it throws people up because I am out
and I'm having fun. But I put a lot of
thought into pretty much everything I do on Stay, and
so if I'm honest about that, I think it comes
across more authentically.

Speaker 2 (15:55):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (15:56):
Absolutely, be you everybody. Okay, we're going to take a
quick break and we will be right back. Welcome back
to the Naughty that my show, your host from shoot
with my dear friend Misty. Hey, let's get to the polls.
Do Last year we talked about Harry and Megan's royal reunion.
It wasn't warman fussy, so you know, it was a
meeting with the King's not a woman fussy. This whole

(16:16):
family is not kissy, huggy lovey. They don't do that.
Were you surprised? Are you surprised? Ninety five percent said no,
You're not at all surprised. Once again, be who you are.
Don't forget to vote on today's pole. A Twitter page

(16:39):
an n of the jay.

Speaker 4 (16:42):
Well, it could be Matt Damon or it could be
the announcer. So if you were watching Fever the World
Cup final, a live teammate comminator said, oh, look at
all the famous people, and he's like Brad Pitt, but
it was actually Matt Damon. Now it was a quick
he was like, oh no, wait, that's Matt Damon.

Speaker 3 (17:00):
The viral moment. Of course.

Speaker 4 (17:01):
You know, that's a hard thing about being a journalist
and being on live TV. You've got to get it right.
So fans joke there are worse people to be compact with,
calling it the best compliment a man can receive, you know, Matt,
and he was there with his wife. He is not
publicly commented, he's you know, obviously on this Odyssey tour
right now, but he and Brad Pitt are friends. I'm

(17:23):
sure afterwards there was some texts.

Speaker 2 (17:26):
Stage like dude, they thought you were me.

Speaker 4 (17:29):
Matt Damon's looking real good right now and working hard
for the odyssey.

Speaker 3 (17:34):
It's a lovely compliment. Now I noticed the day naughty
Tom Brady. What is going on? So people are criticizing
Tom Brady's new NFL life, his post NFL life as Cringey.
I saw him slap somebody, this guy Logan Paul at
some so. I think it was a wrestling match of
something they're going to be doing together. I saw him
putting his finger up, the middle finger.

Speaker 2 (17:55):
He's gone mad, Tom Brady?

Speaker 1 (17:57):
Is this the real you?

Speaker 3 (17:58):
Is this who you always are? Do just gizell know something?
Is this why the divorce happened? Or is this a
new desperate Tom trying to get attention. I want the
old Tom back.

Speaker 2 (18:10):
It's cringey, cringey, cringey. What is he up to?

Speaker 3 (18:13):
Dave Portney goes as far as to say he's going
to ruin his legacy. He has a legend in the NFL.
And all these viral moments that Tom appears to be chasing,
they're not happing organically. Tom wants to be trending on Twitter.

Speaker 2 (18:27):
And just so desperate. Not a good lookout.

Speaker 3 (18:30):
Not is the Deailer's And with the moment of Rob,
You're gonna rob you gonn rub Rob. Work should bring
your joy, Let's just say it. You should be having
joy when you're at work.

Speaker 2 (18:39):
Joy at work.

Speaker 3 (18:39):
It's not a luxury. It's a necessity. It makes you
more creative, more resilient, and more fulfilled. If your job
is constantly draining you, then don't ignore that feeling. Ask
yourself what needs to change. It might be your mindset,
it might be the job you deserve, a career that
challenges you, that rewards you and remind you that work

(19:03):
can be meaningful and yes, even fun. Find some joy
in your work. We spend so many hours in an
office at our jobs doing what we do. It is
too many hours a day to have no fun. It
shouldn't happen. It can't be good for you. So naughties,
if you can think about it, are you having fun

(19:26):
today at your job? And if not, you're got to
ask yourself some tough questions. Hey, that is it for today.
