It is? So there's alarming footage now at Britney Spears

weeks ago that d u I arrest. Well, now the
police have released that the camera footage. It's really alarming.
At one point, Brittany is offering the cops to come
over to her house for lasagna and to take a
dip in her pool. I don't think she's bribing them.
I think she's just spinning out of control. At one
point she's crying. Then she screams that she feels harassed,

that she's invaded. She wouldn't get out of the car.
It's a really really ugly scene and it's a scene
of mental health issues that is so uncomfortable to watch.
And I think that's why this Britney Spear story it's
so big, because this is who Britney is. We're finally
getting to see the truth after years, after decades of

pr skin, carefully managed photo shoots, carefully managed interviews, appearances,
that was never the real Britney, That what we think
was the real Brittany was all a lie. This is
the real Brittany. I worked with Brittany over twenty years ago.
She was messy. The same with Whitney Houston. When I
was working with Alicia Keys. I remember being at Clive
(02:43):
Davis's party, his grammy party, and Whitney was singing at
the party, so it was Alisia and I went to
the rehearsals and Whitney was a mess, like just and
the Whitney in my mind is polished, that perfect princess,
princess Ah. She was just and it wasn't the truth.
And it's it's really hard in life. I get this,
forget celebrities. It's hard when you realize a friend or

someone in your family is not who you think they are.
Let me be really clear, naughties, I hope I'm not
breaking any illusions. This is Brittany. Brittany has always been
somebody that has struggled. She's always been somebody that has
been messy. And the image that we were sold about Brittany,
it just was never true. It wasn't true, then not true.
Now this is who she is. So if you want

her to change, she won't. This is being authentic. We
talk all the time on the show about being got authentic.
Watch the video. It's hard to watch, yeah, but that's
who Britney is, day in day out. She was frightened
when the police pulled her over. She said she was
being harassed. Then she tried to charm them. She was
almost flirting with them a little bit, inviting them over

to her house. In seeing somebody with mental health issues
in a really difficult position, and it's awful. It took
me several attempts to watch the whole video, so wildly uncomfortable,
and I'm glad as a society now we don't make
fun of that. It's just so sad. But I don't know, Corey,

I don't know what the solution is. What do you
think about all this?
Speaker 2 (04:12):
Well, you know we spoke about this, as you mentioned,
two weeks ago or so, and you know, I was
very cut and dry. I mean, either she gets help,
gets the proper help that will handle the mental health
issues and the substance issues simultaneously. Because she's got a
two pronged problem. That's the only option, or the other
option is the most dire scenario.
Speaker 1 (04:33):
You cannot continue to live like that.
Speaker 2 (04:36):
Eventually, either you're going to overdose. You're either going to
drink yourself to death. You're either going to cause bodily harm,
whether it be accidental or you know, through some sort
of harm to yourself that you maybe intentionally bring about.
I mean, there's no really positive scenario unless she gets
the help she needs. So it is really terrifying, and
(04:57):
especially when you think about she told the cops, which
was the most incriminating thing, how she could, oh, I
could drink four bottles of wine and be okay, which
is not something you even want to suggest to believe
that you do. So she's just not really mentally there.
She needs to help, And you bring up a great point.
She's always been this, but the problem is she was

responsible for the livelihood of so many people. They were
never going to disrupt that gravy train and fix it.
Speaker 1 (05:29):
So she was the cash caw. She was the absolute
cash car. It is heartbreaking to watch. It is shocking
when you see somebody in this state, which I'm told
is more than norm This is how she is day
to day. I don't know how she gets up in
the morning and brushes her teeth. I don't know how
she goes downstairs and has some cereal for breakfast. I

don't know how she paused a cup of coffee. She
shouldn't be driving a car. That is very, very very clear.
It is also it brings us to our poll question
of the day. There is new footage of Brittany and
the Dui arrest. It is alarming. It is watching mental
health disintegrate one on one. You are just watching a

scene here that is so so sad. It took me
a couple of attempts to actually get through it. Our
question is can we help Brittany? What what do you think?
Can she get any help? She has turned it down
and she went to rehab after she was arrested. She
didn't go before, and she was not there very long.

And so her father was a conservator for thirteen years.
We wanted the free Britney movement. We were pushing that
and now she's free and now this is the unintended
although I think it was the inevitable results. Is there

So there's an interesting story about Quentin Tarantino and Brad Pitt,
and I'm kind of struggling with the timeline, so you
let me know what you think about this story. But
Tarantino had given a brutal warning to Brad Pitt, apparently,
which was you'll be dead in this business. Now you know.
Brad may have won an Oscar for once upon a
time in Hollywood, but behind the scenes, Quentin Tarantino gave
the superstar a blistering dressing down that stunned the entire cast. So,
(07:26):
according to Bruce Dern, Tarantino exploded after Pitt allegedly stopped
a take when Dern improvised dialogue that wasn't in the
script that a legendary director warrened Pitt, never again in
your life will you ever cut a camera, or You'll
be dead in this business. It was a very tense moment,
and insiders say the two are still deeply in respect

of each other and they're already teaming up again for
the upcoming Cliff Booth sequel, but in that moment it
was very contentious. Now, I have to say, having been
on film sets and actually movies and stuff, I mean,
nobody yells cut, but the director.
Speaker 1 (08:03):
I mean you just you know.
Speaker 2 (08:05):
So I don't know what happened, But I think sometimes
when actors improvise and the other actor is not prepared
for it, it is fair for that actor to say,
what the hell are you doing, like you know, or
decide to go with it because you understand their improvising,
but it's an ambush to your fellow actor. So yeah,
I think that Tarantino is the one who should have said, cut,

are we improvising? Let's do that then, because we all
need to know what you're doing.
Speaker 1 (08:34):
Yeah, just to clarify, this happened on once upon a
time in Hollywood. So when he said you you will
be dead in the business, Brad was already. Brad was
already So it's sort of like a fazzing to say,
maybe maybe there was a little bit of a joke there.
I remember when we did the pilot for The Gossip Table,
Chloe messed up. Chloe was the most nervous and so
she cut. She cut the show, and it wasn't her
(08:57):
job to say that. On our little podcas we keep going,
like there's some things we edit, but I don't edit
very much at all, And so you've got to keep going.
And so when somebody throws something at you you're not
prepared for, you try to respond and if you fail,
they can cut that out. In yes, then they can
get rid of that response. But you're not the director.
I think this is for me a lesson about staying
(09:20):
in your lane. And it's a problem I have because
I'm such a control freak. I want to be in
charge of everything, and it's not my job. I'm not
the director. I'm not in charge of craft services, I'm
not in charge of costumes. I'm not in charge of
the script. And so, like I've learned, and I've become
much more successful on television, podcasting doing what I do
because I know my job is to turn up and
(09:43):
be the talent and deliver the show and leave. I've
got this new project I'm working on. I've not announced
it yet, so I can't give you all the details.
But a new project with iHeartRadio and we taped it
some of it yesterday. I'm just the talent. I turn up,
I sit behind the desk, I hit my lines, I
asked my questions. Yeah, I go home at the end
(10:03):
of the show. The old me would be like, how
are you going to edit that? And can you change that?
And I was like, just shut don't be difficult. I
get that he's Brad Pitt, He's a superstar. With that
comes a lot of power, a lot of opinions. But
Quintin basically was like, this is my job. How are
you doing that as a performer, Coory, Not just as
(10:23):
as a talking head as an expert on shows like this,
but in your own musical career. When you're on stage
performance you have to trust the director and the lighting
guy or do you get involved. No.
Speaker 2 (10:34):
What I have learned is that in general, in life,
you raise a great point, you let people be experts
in their field to help you shine. So I'm not
going to be the I mean, you know, Barbara Streisian
is another animal, right, She's going to control differents everything,
But you know, you know, there's a point where you
have to also make sure that people who are in
(10:55):
charge of those things know your vision, and that way
they're able to acute why you focused to your point
on the talent, like, that's what I'm providing, so focus.
I have the light man to do the lights and
the sound. We trust that we hired competent.
Speaker 1 (11:10):
People to do it right. Yeah, hire great people. And
you got to say, Quintin's pretty great. So graduate you're
in okay, and the movie was fantastic. Okay, moving along.
Miles Teller is fighting back after a reporter called him
a d ic k. So he did this interview with
Esquire magazine. It was over ten years ago. I think
(11:32):
it was in twenty fifteen, and the writer painted him
as kind of a d ic k, a label that
he insists was unfair and damaging. He claims that the
piece was mishandled, accusing the publication of twisting his words.
I think he was just so new at being a star.
He didn't know how to behave He didn't know how
to do an interview. People think in interviews, when you
just sit down and talk, there's a skill to it.
(11:53):
It's like putting on the show. Yeah, it really is
like doing a performance for a reporter, and he did
not play by those rules. He was surly, he was arrogant,
he was rude, and the reporter responded by writing all
that and so he's not really done a big interview since,
like a decade later. He still says that he's haunted
by it, omitting that negativity does sell faster than kindness.

It's true, that is absolutely true. However, I think this
was mishandled by Miles. And to never do an interview
again because you had a bad one, I'm not sure
that's a real smart movie. Help. Yeah, my friends who
are reporters, they're not had to get you, but they
will reflect if you are a d ic K. What
do you think?

Yeah, I mean, I think here is a great point.
It's it's really the newness, the inexperience that I think
he should have been.

And his team.

So this is where again we talk about the team,
the people who are around you. People have to set
you up for a success, because if they don't, they
set you up to fail. And I will give you
perhaps Rob you have been and I want to turn
us into the Rob Happy show. I love it, but
you really have set me up for success. You know
you and and my success is when you have been

a part of it. They're they're shared with you, so
we're together going forward. Yeah, a lot of these young
artists they don't have mentors like that. They just got
the person that want to make them make that money
and give me the money, but they don't put the
time into the development and.

Put the time and they hire the wrong people. I
would never let long interviews with Jennifer Lopez, and she
was much more experienced than Miles tell her, but she's
not great in a long interview. Shorter is better. The
photo shoot should take hours, that's going to be glorious,
but the interview should be forty five minutes. Jennifer is
not going to give you a great interview. It's just
not who she'ld say. No, your skills, know what what

works for you. And blaming reporters. Let's become a little
bit of a trend, hasn't it. We don't want to
get political, but screaming get reporters and screaming at media
and they're the enemy. It's nonsense. It's you, you're the problem. Miles. Okay,
what's going on with Kylie? Jenna, this is a very
interesting term. She has a nickname for Timothy Shallo May. Yeah,

and it's very interesting and particularly in the gay community,
this is interesting.

So what does she call Timothy, Well, his weight, his weight,
his body weight is not in that class for me
to be called this. But if she thinks that a
daddy is like one hundred pounds on me, then because
he's a little guy, you know, he's thin. But Kylie Jenner,

Interesting thing where she set the Internet into a meltdown
after she publicly was thirsting over her boyfriend Timothy Shallo
May with this one eyebrowsing word and she said daddy.

a page six TikTok that was showing Shallow May arriving
in Madison Square Garden and he was looking freshly grooved
and camera ready for the next playoff game, as all

fans arrived looking like that when they go.

especially when you think about she told the cops, which
was the most incriminating thing, how she could, oh, I
could drink four bottles of wine and be okay, which
is not something you even want to suggest to believe
that you do. So she's just not really mentally there.
She needs to help, And you bring up a great point.
She's always been this, but the problem is she was

responsible for the livelihood of so many people. They were
never going to disrupt that gravy train and fix it.

So she was the cash caw. She was the absolute
cash car. It is heartbreaking to watch. It is shocking

a couple of attempts to actually get through it. Our

didn't go before, and she was not there very long.

So there's an interesting story about Quentin Tarantino and Brad Pitt,
and I'm kind of struggling with the timeline, so you
let me know what you think about this story. But
Tarantino had given a brutal warning to Brad Pitt, apparently,
which was you'll be dead in this business. Now you know.
Brad may have won an Oscar for once upon a
time in Hollywood, but behind the scenes, Quentin Tarantino gave
the superstar a blistering dressing down that stunned the entire cast. So,

according to Bruce Dern, Tarantino exploded after Pitt allegedly stopped
a take when Dern improvised dialogue that wasn't in the
script that a legendary director warrened Pitt, never again in
your life will you ever cut a camera, or You'll
be dead in this business. It was a very tense moment,
and insiders say the two are still deeply in respect
(07:48):
of each other and they're already teaming up again for
the upcoming Cliff Booth sequel, but in that moment it
was very contentious. Now, I have to say, having been
on film sets and actually movies and stuff, I mean,
nobody yells cut, but the director.
Speaker 1 (08:03):
I mean you just you know.
Speaker 2 (08:05):
So I don't know what happened, But I think sometimes
when actors improvise and the other actor is not prepared
for it, it is fair for that actor to say,
what the hell are you doing, like you know, or
decide to go with it because you understand their improvising,
but it's an ambush to your fellow actor. So yeah,
I think that Tarantino is the one who should have said, cut,
(08:29):
are we improvising? Let's do that then, because we all
need to know what you're doing.
Speaker 1 (08:34):
Yeah, just to clarify, this happened on once upon a
time in Hollywood. So when he said you you will
be dead in the business, Brad was already. Brad was
already So it's sort of like a fazzing to say,
maybe maybe there was a little bit of a joke there.
I remember when we did the pilot for The Gossip Table,
Chloe messed up. Chloe was the most nervous and so
she cut. She cut the show, and it wasn't her
(08:57):
job to say that. On our little podcas we keep going,
like there's some things we edit, but I don't edit
very much at all, And so you've got to keep going.
And so when somebody throws something at you you're not
prepared for, you try to respond and if you fail,
they can cut that out. In yes, then they can
get rid of that response. But you're not the director.
I think this is for me a lesson about staying
(09:20):
in your lane. And it's a problem I have because
I'm such a control freak. I want to be in
charge of everything, and it's not my job. I'm not
the director. I'm not in charge of craft services, I'm
not in charge of costumes. I'm not in charge of
the script. And so, like I've learned, and I've become
much more successful on television, podcasting doing what I do
because I know my job is to turn up and
(09:43):
be the talent and deliver the show and leave. I've
got this new project I'm working on. I've not announced
it yet, so I can't give you all the details.
But a new project with iHeartRadio and we taped it
some of it yesterday. I'm just the talent. I turn up,
I sit behind the desk, I hit my lines, I
asked my questions. Yeah, I go home at the end
(10:03):
of the show. The old me would be like, how
are you going to edit that? And can you change that?
And I was like, just shut don't be difficult. I
get that he's Brad Pitt, He's a superstar. With that
comes a lot of power, a lot of opinions. But
Quintin basically was like, this is my job. How are
you doing that as a performer, Coory, Not just as
(10:23):
as a talking head as an expert on shows like this,
but in your own musical career. When you're on stage
performance you have to trust the director and the lighting
guy or do you get involved. No.
Speaker 2 (10:34):
What I have learned is that in general, in life,
you raise a great point, you let people be experts
in their field to help you shine. So I'm not
going to be the I mean, you know, Barbara Streisian
is another animal, right, She's going to control differents everything,
But you know, you know, there's a point where you
have to also make sure that people who are in
(10:55):
charge of those things know your vision, and that way
they're able to acute why you focused to your point
on the talent, like, that's what I'm providing, so focus.
I have the light man to do the lights and
the sound. We trust that we hired competent.
Speaker 1 (11:10):
People to do it right. Yeah, hire great people. And
you got to say, Quintin's pretty great. So graduate you're
in okay, and the movie was fantastic. Okay, moving along.
Miles Teller is fighting back after a reporter called him
a d ic k. So he did this interview with
Esquire magazine. It was over ten years ago. I think
(11:32):
it was in twenty fifteen, and the writer painted him
as kind of a d ic k, a label that
he insists was unfair and damaging. He claims that the
piece was mishandled, accusing the publication of twisting his words.
I think he was just so new at being a star.
He didn't know how to behave He didn't know how
to do an interview. People think in interviews, when you
just sit down and talk, there's a skill to it.
(11:53):
It's like putting on the show. Yeah, it really is
like doing a performance for a reporter, and he did
not play by those rules. He was surly, he was arrogant,
he was rude, and the reporter responded by writing all
that and so he's not really done a big interview since,
like a decade later. He still says that he's haunted
by it, omitting that negativity does sell faster than kindness.
(12:17):
It's true, that is absolutely true. However, I think this
was mishandled by Miles. And to never do an interview
again because you had a bad one, I'm not sure
that's a real smart movie. Help. Yeah, my friends who
are reporters, they're not had to get you, but they
will reflect if you are a d ic K. What
do you think?
Speaker 2 (12:38):
Yeah, I mean, I think here is a great point.
It's it's really the newness, the inexperience that I think
he should have been.
Speaker 1 (12:44):
And his team.
Speaker 2 (12:45):
So this is where again we talk about the team,
the people who are around you. People have to set
you up for a success, because if they don't, they
set you up to fail. And I will give you
perhaps Rob you have been and I want to turn
us into the Rob Happy show. I love it, but
you really have set me up for success. You know
you and and my success is when you have been
(13:08):
a part of it. They're they're shared with you, so
we're together going forward. Yeah, a lot of these young
artists they don't have mentors like that. They just got
the person that want to make them make that money
and give me the money, but they don't put the
time into the development and.
Speaker 1 (13:22):
Put the time and they hire the wrong people. I
would never let long interviews with Jennifer Lopez, and she
was much more experienced than Miles tell her, but she's
not great in a long interview. Shorter is better. The
photo shoot should take hours, that's going to be glorious,
but the interview should be forty five minutes. Jennifer is
not going to give you a great interview. It's just
not who she'ld say. No, your skills, know what what
(13:44):
works for you. And blaming reporters. Let's become a little
bit of a trend, hasn't it. We don't want to
get political, but screaming get reporters and screaming at media
and they're the enemy. It's nonsense. It's you, you're the problem. Miles. Okay,
what's going on with Kylie? Jenna, this is a very
interesting term. She has a nickname for Timothy Shallo May. Yeah,
(14:05):
and it's very interesting and particularly in the gay community,
this is interesting.
Speaker 2 (14:09):
So what does she call Timothy, Well, his weight, his weight,
his body weight is not in that class for me
to be called this. But if she thinks that a
daddy is like one hundred pounds on me, then because
he's a little guy, you know, he's thin. But Kylie Jenner,
she is calling Timothy Schallo May daddy.
Speaker 1 (14:27):
And so there was a little.

Interesting thing where she set the Internet into a meltdown
after she publicly was thirsting over her boyfriend Timothy Shallo
May with this one eyebrowsing word and she said daddy.
And so the beauty mogul dropped the cheeky comment under
a page six TikTok that was showing Shallow May arriving
in Madison Square Garden and he was looking freshly grooved
and camera ready for the next playoff game, as all

fans arrived looking like that when they go.

To a game, I guess.
Speaker 2 (14:54):
But fans immediately exploded online, calling a moment iconic, which
is a word.
Speaker 1 (14:59):
I need you guys to stop using so much. Because
everything okay, but it takes really is iconic.

Yes, yes, please monitor your use of that word. But
they were crowding highly the Internet's reigning queen of PDA,
and that's pretty funny.

very controversial Spencer Yes, yeah, Los Angeles mayor campaign. You
can have feelings about that video. You can have feelings

Turner was the best, not Spencer Pratt. However, going after
her political views via the men she likes is just wrong.
If she likes Oldham and if she's happy, and she is.
She's been with David Foster now for years. I've met
them together. They are very happy together. Leave people's relationships

my politics, your friend's politics, you could have a debate
about that. But attacking somebody's partner or your choice in men,
I say that is just creepy and you lose the

We've had people judge our relationships, our entire lives. Corey
and I hate it when I see other people do this,

from repeating the same simple actions over and over and
over again. People who win are usually the ones that
do the basics. They write another page, they make another call,
they post another video, they go for another workout. So
our emotions we chase excitement, but success rewards consistency. Most

dreams die not because people don't have talent, but because
they get tired of repetition before the results of ah wow,
repeat it again and again and again. Think of fun
things you learned. Ride in a bicycle. You got good
at it because you did it again and again and again.
Think of if you're a dancer, you got good at

Think about going to the gym. You got good at
it because you did it again and again and again

and we're really good at it. We weren't. We didn't start.
