Speaker 1 (00:09):
Advice for sure. It's time and let wello. Welcome to
the Naughty and Nice Sham your host job shooter. And
it's Friday, which means our dear friend Cory Andrew joins us. Hey, Cory,
are you there?
Speaker 2 (00:24):
I am here. Hello, Happy Friday everyone.
Speaker 1 (00:27):
Happy Friday.
Speaker 2 (00:27):
Everyone.
Speaker 1 (00:28):
Let's jump in, Corey. We've got a ton of news
celebrity gossip to get to. What time is it, my friends,
it is tea time. So Pete Davidson, if you've not heard,
it's going to be a daddy. However, people in his
inner circle are a little bit worried, a little bit nervous.
Let me explain. So Pete seems to be over the
moon that he is going to be a dad. He's
(00:50):
thirty one years old. He's been very honest in the
past with his struggles with addiction mental health. Now he
seems to have a really nice girlfriend, Ali. She's twenty
nine years old. She announced on her Instagram that she
was pregnant. Everybody seems very excited, at least on the surface. However,
if you dig a little deeper, if you ask a
(01:12):
few of his friends, which of course I did, they
said they're a bit worried about this that Pete. Pete
is thrilled, but he doesn't seem to yet understand that
this is not a joke. This is not a Saturday
Night Live skit. This is not something that is going
to last just for five ten minutes. This is a
really lifetime commitment, and it is happening. I think it's
(01:36):
a little bit cruel here to judge. We don't know,
this has not happened yet. Pete has a few months
to figure all this out. Can we let him just
be happy for a minute. And just because he has
a troubled past, if everybody that had a troubled past
were not allowed to have children or we didn't celebrate them,
there wouldn't be any children. We've all got things in
(01:57):
our past that we regret. I'm told he's doing pretty well,
he's sober, he really seems to be happy this relationship.
At first, I feared was going to be another tabloid
spectacle Kim Kardashian, right, Ariana Grande. It hasn't been so far.
There's been some interest in it, but they're not making headlines.
I want this to work out. And a few of
(02:19):
his friends that I did speak to, who I've got
to admit we're a little nervous for him. Did say
they think he will be a great dad and this
will be life changing in the best possible way. What
do you think, Corey?
Speaker 2 (02:29):
Yes, Well, first of all.
Speaker 3 (02:30):
Let's think about one thing that he's already got taken
care of. He's got the financial stability. A lot of
new dads, a lot of new parents in general, it's
nervousness for all of them.
Speaker 2 (02:41):
It's a new thing. Like the movies.
Speaker 3 (02:42):
Share did with Renona Writer a Mermaid. So she says,
there's no book of instructions that comes out with the baby,
like you know, so so many people are always nervous,
and it's a good nervousness, right, So I think you're right, Rob.
Speaker 2 (02:54):
Let's root him on.
Speaker 3 (02:55):
Let's give him that space to be a nervous new dad,
because he's going to grow into that. I don't think
it's fair either, to automatically paint him as a disastrous
dead before the baby even gets here.
Speaker 1 (03:06):
Yeah, yeah, yeah. Let me tell you all a little
secret here. One of my sources said, do you know
who's really nervous, Pete?
Speaker 2 (03:11):
He's really aware of us.
Speaker 1 (03:13):
He's a really smart guy. He's made some mistakes, but
he knows, he knows this is a life changing moment,
and he's really excited about it. I know, because his
past relationships have always been so short and so dramatic
and so ups and so dan that we wonder if
this one will last. I'm told they're really really healthy together,
and they seem really really happy together. And Pete knows.
(03:35):
Pete's not going into this with his eyes clicked. He
knows he knows what is about to happen is about
to change his life. He's excited about it, but he's
a little bit nervous about it too. So instead of
us all all piling on right talking about those nerves,
let's wish him the best. Let's be honest here, Corey.
(03:57):
Nobody has to take a test to become a pair. Nobody,
And so if we're going to judge Pete, we should
be judging a lot of other people too. He does
have the financial means to have this baby. A lot
of people don't. I know some couples who are really
struggling who have had children, and they really want their children,
(04:17):
and they work really hard, and there was not a
lot of money, but there was a lot of love.
That's a good thing to have to I think Pete's
got the money. I think he's got the love, and
I do feel everything he's been through he's come out
stronger and he really wants to do well, which is really,
I think, all you can ask for, which brings us
to our pole question of the day. Pete Davidson is
(04:38):
going to be a dad. He's in a Certle are
a little bit worried for him, and let's be honest,
they're very worried for him, saying he's not ready to
be a father. Are they right? Seems a little cruel
to me, But are they right? What do you think?
Go votes on at Twitter page at Naughty Night rob
a Facebook page. It's Naughty Gossip and be sure to
check back on Monday to hear your results. Hey, Corea,
(05:03):
what do you work it on?
Speaker 3 (05:05):
Yes, I've got this exclusive about Madonna, the original Queen
of pop. Now, Madonna has no friends, that's what former
besties are saying, and they're saying that she only cares
about herself. Now, that's not a new accusation against Madonna though,
because that's been going on for quite a while. People
have said that about her. But Yeah, she's the queen
of pop, but behind the scenes, she may be the
loneliest icon in the business. Right, So insiders tell hashtag
(05:29):
shooter Scoop that Madonna's inner circle has completely evaporated and.
Speaker 2 (05:33):
Former confidants are calling her out. They say she doesn't
know how to be a real friend.
Speaker 3 (05:37):
And one ex pal says, it's always been about Madonna,
always has been. Now one of the most brutal friendship breakups,
This was pretty wild, rob Now. It involved Gwyneth Paltrow
and the explosive new book.
Speaker 2 (05:49):
The explosive new book that Gwyneth.
Speaker 3 (05:51):
Wrote, called The Gwyneth Biography. The author Amy Odell claims
their friendship imploded after Madonna crashed a private island and
get away that Gwyneth was enjoying with her then husband
Chris Martin. Now without an invite. Madonna just like burst
onto the scene and it felt intentional, even creepy, one
sir says.
Speaker 2 (06:10):
Now.
Speaker 3 (06:10):
Then came the Dinner from Hell, when Madonna allegedly then
launched into a rant about her own daughter Lordes midmeal,
like making herself the center of attention in a party
that she wasn't even invited to in the first place,
and Gwyneth was really put off and she said, I can't.
Speaker 2 (06:25):
Be around this woman anymore.
Speaker 3 (06:27):
Now She's not alone in this sentiment, apparently, because you know,
there's a history there with Sondra Bernhardt, Rosie old Donald,
Debbie Maysar, all of these women were once close friends
and they're all gone now, even Madonna. Celebrity trainer Tracy
Anderson walked away. And you know, Rob, I don't talk
much publicly about my days hanging out with Sondra Bernhardt,
but you know I did have access to an inner
(06:48):
circle at one point, and I can tell you that
the stories that I was privy to they do align
with this sort of story. Madonna seems to not do
well if she's not the center of attention, and you
will sabotage the room just to be that girl.
Speaker 1 (07:03):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, It's not uncommon. The celebrities I know
are all narcissists, most of them are. They work really
hard of making themselves always the center of attention. You
think that when they're not on stage, maybe they can
just sit in a room around a table and be regular.
They can't. It is always about. My few interactions with
Madonna have been less than pleasant. When I've interviewed her,
(07:24):
or I've been backstage and the War Show and I've
spotted her. She isn't that person. Her focus is her career,
and I think she would be the first to say
that she has her best friend is her career, and
that she cares about more than anything. It does give
me pause there when you see it doesn't have to
be Madonna. It can be anybody. When you see somebody
who has no friends, and at first it's easy to
(07:44):
feel very very sorry for them, isn't it like, oh,
boo hoo, I'm so sorry. All they have is their music.
They don't have anybody else. And then you have to say, no,
that's their choice. They don't want anybody. I don't think
Madonna's sitting at home thinking, oh, I wish Gwyneth would
call me, or I wish, No, she doesn't care. She's
moved on, so we care, but she doesn't, which is
(08:06):
a little bit sort of messed up here. It is
so tricky. I know, we all want to believe that
we could be best friends with a superstar, best friends
of Madonna, best friends of Michael Jackson, best friends of Prince.
I know it. I used to feel like that myself
until I actually met a few really big stars. They
were awful. Called yeah on stage, they were great, and
(08:30):
you know, I used to give them so much, so
much leeway. I tolerated behavior I have from famous people
that I would never tolerate from people who are not famous.
And it makes me a little bit cringey to admit
that I'd probably put up with Madonna too, but would
fall out eventually or she'd done me. But if Madonna
(08:52):
called me and said come to my house, I definitely
and she treat me terribly. The few people I know
who have really with Madonna said it was awful. I
warned people, don't meet your heroes. Don't go backstage. Gosh,
I don't, I.
Speaker 3 (09:10):
Would say, you know, that is a we do tell people,
be careful not to not to meet your heroes. I
went backstage to meet Grace Jones, though, and I was
kind of terrified because I heard the stories. Oh my gosh,
she was amazing. Was she even gave me a kiss
on the I went because her brother had like kind
of got me in there somehow, and she was like,
you tell my brother not to send an impastor in
(09:33):
his place when I thought he was coming, who are you?
And then she was like just messing with me, and she.
Speaker 1 (09:37):
Goes, but you are cute though, and she kissed me
on the cheek. I was invited backstage at Madonna, not
to meet Madonna, but to just stand in this sort
of tented area and that Madonna never even walked into.
And it was a cash bar, and Barbara Walters was
looking for like a twenty dollars purse. It was so
cheap and so attackic, and it's just so Madonna is
(09:59):
he she is. I've got to be honest with you.
It's not that unusual. Don't tell anybody, it's not that
unusual to be that famous, to be that successful, it
means you have to focus on one thing.
Speaker 2 (10:13):
Yeah, that's you.
Speaker 1 (10:15):
That's They are the center of their universe. A friendsh
a friendy maybe somebody that I can say is a
colleague of Madonna's. Once told me Madonna is her own hobby.
All she does is think about Madonna from the minute
wakes up to the minute she goes to sleep, which
is why her creer. But that does not leave a
(10:37):
lot of room for friends. Grenoth a lot of people.
Sandra was so clear, they were so tight and now
just gone. I don't operate like that. If I like
you, you will always be in my life. Maybe not every day,
but I just macdonad can just move on. Okay, we're
(10:58):
gonna move on to and Affleck is considering legal action
about that. Tell all Gwyneth books. So he's in the
book too. It's quite interesting. They say that he's incredibly
talented in the bedroom in the book, and Gwyneth very
much enjoyed that. However, one didn't enjoy was that their
relationship be crashed due to cheating. He cheats. The book
(11:18):
alleges video game addiction. I can see him playing video
games and being emotionally distant. So the city's livid about
the cheating rumorless, they are baseless, They are unfair, and
how his kids are old enough to read this stuff.
You've got to be really careful here about what you say.
When I had my book come out, the Forward Answer,
there's a whole chapter about working with Jennifer Lopez, I
(11:40):
don't mention Ben. I got legal notifications from Ben's people, really,
and I was like, you're not in the book. So
I totally believe my god, they're that letigious. Ben's really
on top of this almost to a point where it's
too aggressive. And to be honest, if Ben sues this book,
all that will happen is more people will buy right
(12:02):
big stick around the cover of it the book. Ben
doesn't want you to read huge like stick around the
cover of it, So be careful what you say here.
But you should be particularly careful if these allegations are
all true. And so Ben was a difficult boyfriend, I
can see that. I mean, let's be honest, he's not
been that successful in the relationships since. And so I
(12:23):
think Jlo here would probably confirm this. But that Corey,
we've got to get our hands on this book.
Speaker 3 (12:28):
Well listen, I'm just looking at the fact that Jennifer
Lopez clearly lost her mind over him. So maybe it
was the bedroom stuffy grove her so crazy.
Speaker 1 (12:37):
I got in advance of some of the chapters in
the book, and they said he had quite a technique
in the bedroom. Okay, no more, I will blush talking
in the bedrooms. Mark and Kelly, I've been told to
turn it down. What's going on?
Speaker 2 (12:51):
Yeah, we go from like naughty to naughty.
Speaker 1 (12:54):
So I hate talking about this.
Speaker 2 (12:55):
I know you are. If you guys can.
Speaker 3 (12:56):
See Rabbits so red right now, but you know what,
it is getting to be a bit much. I have
to say, Kelly and Mark have been told to turn
down the sex talk on the show because it's putting
off the viewers.
Speaker 1 (13:08):
Now.
Speaker 3 (13:09):
Insiders tell hashtag shooters Scoop that the Live and Kelly
Live with Kelly and Mark co hosts. You know, they
have been told to cool it because the fans are
flooding the show's inbox with complaints.
Speaker 2 (13:20):
You know, here's one quote.
Speaker 3 (13:21):
Saying it's getting to be too much, right, That's actually
what a production insider has said. And they say when
Kelly starts talking about nasal strips and having mourning sex
while people are having their coffee, HiT's a hard no
for me.
Speaker 2 (13:33):
Now.
Speaker 3 (13:33):
The backlash hit a fever pitch after Ripper's eyebrow raising
podcast interview where she said that Mark's advances are disgusting
and she declared herself pre disgusted every night and it
reminds me of when and I love Kathy Lee, but
it reminds me of when Kathy Lee and Regis used
to do the show and every day she's like, oh, Frank, Frank,
(13:53):
Frank and Frank and Frank and then she ended up
being the public were like, girl, can you just stick
to the show and be quiet about saying?
Speaker 1 (13:59):
It's a tricky line, isn't it. When you host these
morning shows, these really successful morning shows, you want to
let people into your lives, you want to share stuff,
but you can overshow Yeah, I think we can all
be honest to you those times where it feels like
Kelly has overshared a little bit. That show too. It's
not just a New York show. It's not a local
and as we know, this is a very diverse, big country.
(14:22):
And what is acceptable in one stay you're not in
another ear And so you've got to be really cavil here.
Kelly's base is not New York. Kelly's base Midwest is
the heart of America, And so they just don't want this.
I don't want it though, too. I've got to be honest.
It makes me crazy much.
Speaker 2 (14:42):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (14:42):
I love Mark and they are so good at this show.
And I thought that after Ryan Seacrest left, after Michael
Straham left, I didn't think I'd like this show anymore.
I do. I like it better than ever having a
married couple. There is genius, except when we get too
bad secrets, Kelly, if you're listening and low and no, no, Okay,
(15:03):
We're going to take a quick break and we will
be right back. Welcome back to the naught even I
showing your host from shuter Halet's Get to the Polls.
Last Yeary talked about Harry and Megan being quite stung
that Oprah really threw some royal shade at them. I
think it was just funny, made fun of their last name.
She was just making a little bit of a joke.
Some people are like, should these two just lighten up?
(15:25):
In fact, that was our question of the day, should
these two just get a sense of humor. She didn't
say anything mean, She didn't call you any names. She
just mocked a little bit your last name. She said
it's a tricky name. And so what do you think,
should these two get a sense of humor? Eighty seven
percent said yes, lighten up, Oprah Chappelle. You've got much
(15:46):
bigger problems out there. There are people that really don't
like you. Oprah is not one of them. Has gone
out of her way to support you too, So it's silly.
You know, she did not mean this to be mean.
It was just having a little bit of fun. Lighten
up and don't forget to vote on a poll of
the day by going to a Twitter page at Naughty
(16:08):
Nice Rob a Facebook page Norty Gossip. I'm sure to
check back on Monday to hear your results.
Speaker 2 (16:15):
And now it's.
Speaker 1 (16:17):
Time of the day.
Speaker 3 (16:22):
Well, this is a really great story. I'm already a
big fan of Chip and Joan his wife. I like him, Yeah,
I like him a lot too.
Speaker 2 (16:29):
And he's very handsome, that Chip.
Speaker 3 (16:30):
But Chip gains stands tall as backlash has erupted over
a same sex couple appearing on their show. So the
show was The Fixer Upper, and you know, he and
his wife do this home makeover show and apparently they're
facing intense criticism from conservative circles after he and his
wife featured a a married same sex couple Jason and Joe,
(16:51):
along with their twin sons on the new Magnolia Network
series called Back to the Front Tier.
Speaker 2 (16:57):
But Chip is not breaking up. He's not back down
at all. No.
Speaker 3 (17:01):
In a bold response, he tweeted out, he says, you know,
the way of the modern American Christian culture is judge first,
understand later, slash. Never there was a clear rebuke of
the outrage. Now, while some saw it as controversial, many
praise Chip for standing up for inclusivity without abandoning his
own faith. He says, he's always believed in love of
kindness and building homes, not walls between people.
Speaker 2 (17:24):
And you know, he's just showing that you can live with.
Speaker 3 (17:26):
Your values while also embracing others. He's not just renovating
homes anymore. He's remodeling what faith in America can look like,
not afraid to lead the way.
Speaker 2 (17:36):
And I commit into him.
Speaker 1 (17:37):
Yeah, it's absolutely absolutely beautiful. Love that he's not backing
down this background backlash, this this outrage, and it feels
like it's been hyped up here, particularly yeah, on the
far right channels. But it's beautiful. And you know what
these two are going to be just foh yeah, the
show's a monster hit. If anything, it's gonna make more people, yeah,
(17:57):
even tune in. But I love too that it'd be
so easy for these two to throw their gay friends
under the It really would millions of dollars at steak.
They said, no, no, that is not who we are.
We can be Christians and we can still love everybody
and nicest and nicest In fact, I would argue to
be a Christian is to love everybody.
Speaker 2 (18:16):
I mean, that's how it's supposed to be.
Speaker 1 (18:18):
Parents argue and nicest of the day. And now I not.
She's the day tone Deathlon Sanchez has turned up with
a two hundred and fifty thousand dollars person. You heard that,
a quarter of a million ermes bag dripping gold. She
went to a fashion show at Paris Paris Fashion Week,
and she turned up with this person inside as saying,
(18:42):
this wasn't a flex, this was a mission state. I
did not try to hide it. She was not embarrassed
by it. She led with it. His purse was really
important to her. It's just tone death. You two, but
I do like you are who you are. I can
do like you double down. You are who you are
(19:05):
and the audience of the day. Let's end with a
moment of ro Overnight success takes at least five years
to actually work. So behind every overnight when there is
a grind that no one ever sees, there's late nights,
there's self doubt, a lot of self doubt. There's failures
and sacrifice. So what looks suddenly as if you have
(19:29):
just won actually isn't. It is years and years of effort,
So don't get discouraged. If it takes time, it should
take time. That is normal, that is real. Just keep
showing up, Just keep building because success, it doesn't come
out of nowhere. It shows up for those who never
(19:51):
stopped working for it. Keep working, keep going, naughties. I
know we all want immediate success, we all want a
million followers on You'll want to be really really successful.
