speech about peace and football and nothing makes sense to me.

he was given a Ted talk to the nation. Then
the Fox announcer really got to the point. They plugged
his movie Digger. Now, if Tom wants this movie to
be taken seriously, he does. He's meant to be brilliant
in this movie. He's gotta find a better way to

promote it because I think this looks a desperate all. Okay,
what happened to Madonna? So instead of singing like a
prayer that was the rumor she was going to do
like a prayer or vague common two monster hits, two
songs that you wanna hear over and over and they

which is about the bourgeoisie, and she sang in front
of some of the richest people the world who had

he sang Hallelujah and he did it with just an

talented he is. He really has the chops, he really
has the talent. He pulled it off. Unfortunately, it was
the wrong song for the wrong room. When you have
a crowd that big, when you have an event that
full of energy of excitement, you don't want to bring

it down a notch with a really depressing ballad. I
love a ballad, I do. My husband has written many
great ballads, but the song that made him famous is
an up tempo song. You cannot beat a dance song,
a song that people can get up and shake their
bottoms too. So justin I think you picked the wrong song,
but you did remind us how talented you are. Okay,

Dudamel the conductor. You might not know him as a
classical conductor. He's been called the new Leonard Bernstein. Tricking
idea to have him there. But I thought that whole
segment was a bit of a mess. And then do
you know what did work? I'm trying to be positive.
My goodness, we're a positive show. Jennifer Hudson, what a
vision in white. And she just stood there and she

sang the BA Jesus out of the national anthem. Her pipes,
My goodness, can she sing just phenomenal. And then we've
got to say, Shakira stole the show. So after Madonna's
weak introduction, really shot in a maybe not her fault.

underground garage where she was on the back of a car,
and it was such an odd choice for Madonna. She
normally does not get that stuff wrong, but she did

crowd exactly what they wanted. It was high energy, it
was high fashion, it was dancing. It was pitched perfect, thrilling, sexy,

read it page after page, cover to cover, and the

So this meeting was not warm and fuzzy. I'm reading
some headlines that Harry and Meghan wan not true. Nothing
has changed. They've not got their security back, they're not
part time royals. They don't have a date to see

but it has not changed their jobs. It hopefully has
changed their relationship as a family. But they're two different things,
aren't they. Anybody that's ever worked in a family business
will tell you that Charles wants a relationship with his son,
But I don't know if there's a place for him

story breaking on my sub set today telling you what

William and Meghan want. They want the part time royal status.
They want to be royals. They want all the perks
of being royals, but they also want to be allowed
to do their side projects, to do podcasts, to do Netflix,
to sell jam to earn money, and so they want
the royal coffers. They want the royal money, but they
also want to make their own money. And they have

figured out very very quickly. It's took them only a
few years to know that without that royal status, all
the side projects, the jams, the podcasts, the TV shows,
they don't work. We're not interested in them if they're
not royal. The only thing interesting about Harry and Meghan
is the thing they've been running away from, which is
the royal family. So they have figured that out as

a brand. They've sat down. If you are the company
and something's not working, you get consultants, you sit down,
you figure out what is not working. They've worked out
that everything started to fall apart when they stepped back
from the family. So they want to get back in
the family, but not for the family's sake. They're not
missing the family terribly. I'm sure there is some emotions there,

but what this is is a business move. They want
to be part time Royals and then they can make
a lot of money in the private sector. You'll remember
the Queen said no for this, absolute not not gonna work.
The king's much softer. I don't want to say he's
a weak man. He's a good man, but he doesn't
have a spine of steel like his mommy did. And

so maybe maybe they think that they'll be able to
convince the dad. Try convincing Camilla. He wrote about her

we think that these people are our friends. So sometimes
we take it a little bit too personally. But jokes, comedians,

me before anybody else did, are on TV or in

to do that. I don't think he does it as

celebrities from people like Perez. He was too mean. He

I did GMA when my book came out. What was

months ago. My goodness, what a great environment. You walk
in security, take you to the makeup room. Everybody in
hair and makeup is smiling, and that you bump into
celebrities Michael Strahan, George Stephanopolis, it's just the most amazing place.
Tamer and hallworks there, all the ladies that the view
work there, and it's just buzzing with positive energy. You

can tell. You can tell Carey's show was a d lighter.
I think she's gonna miss it, but now she said
she can spend more time focused on her children. Oh,
I love her. Adam Sandler's role at Taylor Swift and
Travis Kelsey's wedding left guests stunned. So I've been talking now,
it's been about a couple of weeks since they got married,

and I've been talking to more people who attended, and
they said when Adam walked out to officiate the ceremony,
everybody burst out laughing. They thought it was a comedy bit.

we all thought we knew that we loved wouldn't have
had this type of wedding. So maybe we just don't
know Taylor that well. Maybe this was Travis's influence. I
know they wanted some celebrity who represented Travis, because let's
be honest, every other celebrity was there for Taylor. They
were friends. They are friends to Adam Sandler and Travis

did a movie together, so that was I think to
sort of say you're part of this too, but everybody
started to laugh. Not a good look at all. There's
something about that wedding that's comical, isn't it? Now? Looking back,
I'm not angry, I'm not happy. I'm just like, oh
my goodness, it was ridiculous. I think that's where the

guests signed out too. Oh there's nothing worse, isn't there
that people laughing at you? Or I do want to
be cruel, and I want to cruel, but that wedding

saying that last name Javares Javivas. You know who I mean,
and he's British. I should have that right by now.
It's been years. Ricky refuses to apologize for his comedy,

so he is not changing his act for anybody. He
did a new interview with the BBC and he said
I don't care if I offend. He adds too that
the backlash often makes the joke even funnier. Now, the
comedian said he has no interest in softening his jokes
to avoid offending audiences. He argues he never sets out
to provoke really, but accept that someone will always take offense.
(09:44):
What do you think about this one. I do not
want to offend people. I'm not like him. My DNA
were just built differently. We're not the same, So I
would hate to offend. I know I do sometimes. I
know I say stuff, but people don't agree with I know.
I've criticized celebrities, royals that you really really like, and

we think that these people are our friends. So sometimes
we take it a little bit too personally. But jokes, comedians,
Now you all know. One of my dear friends was
Joan Rivers. She really changed my career. She believed in
me before anybody else did, are on TV or in
the business. So Joan, I'm sending you oh my love.
I love John Rivers. I love a lover of love,
John Rivers. She could say some really outrageous things and

I accepted them because I loved Joan. I don't love Ricky,
and so when he says cruel things, I think they're cruelty.
I just said it. I didn't say funny things with Joan.
I would have said when Joan says funny things. I
don't think they're cruel. I didn't even give Ricky then
the benefit of the doubt. I just said when he
says cruel things because I don't like him. I don't
love him like I love Joan. So I think if
(10:51):
you love the comedian, you let them say it. If
you don't like them, then you think it's offensive. Now,
there's certainly things that can be said that just so outrageous.
Those roasts, oh my goodness, they're a little too rough
for me. Politics is a little too rough for me.
I'm already but nice. I do like to be nice,
I really really do. Sometimes I pull my punches with
(11:13):
my reporting. If I find out something that's just too
awful or too sad, I try to say it in
a nice way. I really do. I am a reporter
and it is my job to tell the truth, and
I take that very seriously. But you can tell the
truth in a way that's not vile. You don't have
to be nasty, do you anybody that reads my substack,
(11:33):
I hope you agree with me. It's naughty, it's nice,
It's full of gossip, but it's not mean. Perez used
to do that. I don't think he does it as
much anymore. But when Perez Hilton started, I was a publicist.
I was not in the journalism. I was not in
the gossip business back then. In fact, I was on
the opposite side of the cory, and I was protecting
celebrities from people like Perez. He was too mean. He
(11:55):
was just too mean for me. Ricky a little mean.
Where are you on, Ricky? Somebody who is not mean
and can certainly tell a very funny joke. Kelly Clarkson,
she was in Vegas since she was joking that NBC
cannot fire her anymore. So she has her residency in Vegas,
and she quote quipped quote I would get fired by
(12:15):
NBC for something that she left, but I don't work
there anymore. You would never, ever, ever do anything to
get fired at NBC. Her crew loved her. Everybody that
did the show absolutely loved her. I've been backstage at
that show a few times. It's a really, really lovely place.
You can tell when you walk into a bar, a home,
(12:36):
a TV show, You feel the volubes, don't you. You
know if you're in a cool place, you know you're
in a fun place. When I used to go to
the Ellen show. I knew it was miserable just pulling
up in the car park. In the parking lot, everyone
was nasty. When you walked into the studio, backstage, the
dressing rooms, everybody was walking on eggshells. And it's because
(12:56):
they were all frightened of Ellen. And the reason they
were frightened of Ellen is she was I am monster.
Do you know who else has that? Jimmy Fallon? It
is not a happy show. When you go to the
Jimmy Fallon show, all you are walking on eggshells. The
nicest set that I've been on in a while is GMA.
I did GMA when my book came out. What was
(13:17):
that the end of April and so a couple of
months ago. My goodness, what a great environment. You walk
in security, take you to the makeup room. Everybody in
hair and makeup is smiling, and that you bump into
celebrities Michael Strahan, George Stephanopolis, it's just the most amazing place.
Tamer and hallworks there, all the ladies that the view
work there, and it's just buzzing with positive energy. You
(13:40):
can tell. You can tell Carey's show was a d lighter.
I think she's gonna miss it, but now she said
she can spend more time focused on her children. Oh,
I love her. Adam Sandler's role at Taylor Swift and
Travis Kelsey's wedding left guests stunned. So I've been talking now,
it's been about a couple of weeks since they got married,
(14:01):
and I've been talking to more people who attended, and
they said when Adam walked out to officiate the ceremony,
everybody burst out laughing. They thought it was a comedy bit.
They thought he was doing that as a joke, and
then quickly everybody realized, oh my goodness, this is real.
It's unusual, isn't it. This wedding I slam and got
(14:22):
my head completely around it. The Taylor that I think
we all thought we knew that we loved wouldn't have
had this type of wedding. So maybe we just don't
know Taylor that well. Maybe this was Travis's influence. I
know they wanted some celebrity who represented Travis, because let's
be honest, every other celebrity was there for Taylor. They
were friends. They are friends to Adam Sandler and Travis
(14:45):
did a movie together, so that was I think to
sort of say you're part of this too, but everybody
started to laugh. Not a good look at all. There's
something about that wedding that's comical, isn't it? Now? Looking back,
I'm not angry, I'm not happy. I'm just like, oh
my goodness, it was ridiculous. I think that's where the
(15:07):
guests signed out too. Oh there's nothing worse, isn't there
that people laughing at you? Or I do want to
be cruel, and I want to cruel, but that wedding
was so odd. Who gets married at Madison Square? Dirty garden?
It's an awfully dirty place. People in New York don't
want to go anywhere near it unless your favorite pop
star is performing. Not getting married there. Okay, we're going

The dud du Lasher we talked about, really frighteningly, a
crazed intruder who was hunting for l Roca, and they
stormed the Today Show. They got into the show, They

didn't get onto the set, but they did get into
where the stairwell. Is I know that place very well?
Should security be fired? Ninety percent said yes, they have been.
One security person has been fired. Now there is an
overhaul of security at NBC to figure out and to
make sure this never ever happens again. And now it's
time for a Nicest of the Day and nicest of

the day. Andy Cohen goes Instagram official with his boyfriend
Kevin Sebawski. Oh that's a cute name. So Andy is
taking the romance with Kevin to the next level by
making it Instagram official. Math you know anything about Andy,
He lives for social media. He has millions of followers.
He has more people follow him listen to him on
social media than on his TV show. Honestly, he's got
(16:36):
a massive social media presence. So to pop Kevin up there,
it's a big deal. He shared a photograph of them smiling.
It was a recent date night. They've been together now
over a year. They met at a Fourth of July
party and he said they still have not had a fight.
And he calls him strong and smart and kind, and
reveals too that he's even got close with Andy's two children.

So a big deal here. Wishing them the best. I'd love.
I love love. I want everyone to find some happiness,
find a little bit of love. Kevin seems like a
really nice guy, and he's tricky and is not an
easy person. So I hope Kevin knows that too. Andy'd
be nice being nice. Don't introduce him to those housewives.
That's always the kiss of death. If I introduce you

to those a warful housewives, it's not good. So far,
he's kept them away. He's kept Kevin away from all
those ladies who he has introduced him to. And this
is why you know that this is serious. Is his
famous friends Kelly Ripper, Sarah, Jessica Parker, Anderson Cooper. And
I'm told they all love him. What a cute couple.

on the internet to defend his mom. It was a

really crazy, crazy rumor that Brittany had been cloned. He's
nineteen years old, and it feels the need to address this.
Ignore it, my friend. If you're going to start responding
to everything said about Brittany on the internet, your head's
going to explode. It's too complicated. This is one of
the reasons that the Suns begged Brittany to stay off

Stay off social media. Start posting those wacky videos where
she's half naked dancing with knives. Don't do it because
that provokes comments, and comments provokes feelings in these young men,
and they want to defend their mom, when in the
process they just make the story even bigger. Makes me

so sad. This relationship, the situation, and what is the day.
Let's end with a moment of rub you rub you
rub your a rub for twenty minutes. Will you give
you all the celebrity news, but for a moment, just
a moment, We're a little bit more serious. The gap
between who you are and who you want to be
is filled by things you don't feel like doing. Let

me explain. Anyone can take action when they're excited, but
growth happens when you're tired, when you're uncomfortable, when you're
tempted to quit, and you choose to keep going anywhere.
Discipline isn't about feeling inspired now. It's about honoring the

every workout, every difficult conversation, the early mornings, the extra
effort that you need to do. That is where you

night with Bruce and some friends for another birthday dinner.
