What time is it? My friends? Is tea time assive
story that Brad Pitt is back off the wagon after
seven years of sobriety. Let me point out here he
was not caught in a bar having a drink. He
told this to Esquire Magazine. He's on the cover of

Esquire magazine. It comes out in a few days, and
he said that he was sober for seven years and
then I got back off the wagon, he confessed to
the magazine. The Oscar winner say is that he can
now have a few glasses of wine, but he can't
have a lot. He admits that he has overdone it
(01:33):
on a few occasions. This is big, big news. If
you remember, Brad's sobriety journey really started after that infamous
eraplane incident with Andrew, Lina, Jolee and the kids back
in twenty and sixteen. She made some wild accusations about him.
Ultimately he was cleared of those by the FBI, of

all people, but after that, he knew he had to
get help. So back in two two sixteen he started
to think about it, and then a few years later
he went to AA. He credits Bradley Cooper of all people,
for helping him get through this. He also talked about
it and this is something that I find so interesting.
The older I get, the mornings are so precious to him.

He loves waking up without a hangover. He likes to
wake up and feel fresh and start the day and
have all the dreams of the day ahead of you,
and if you're hungover, if you are drinking the night before,
those mornings are very very different.

What do you think, mister, Yeah, I mean, I guess
everybody can decide for themselves what they want to do.
But I've spoken to people who have been through AA
and the things that they say is I just don't
know when to stop, and so I can't even start.
And so by saying, oh, I have a few glasses
of wine, I mean a few glasses of wine could

be like, oh, now I can have one shot. Oh
maybe I can have one or two beers. It's like
where is the limit? And I love that. He said
that he loves being clear headed in the morning. Rob,
you and I have gone out, we've had maybe that
one too many cattail, and you wake up the next
morning and you're like, oh did I do this? And
it's so great. The past week I haven't been drinking,

and just to wake up every morning ready to work,
ready to work out, It's such a great feeling. But again,
he is a grown a man, so he has to
make the decision for himself.

He is he is also too He talked about having
suicidal thoughts. In this story, he said there was a
time when he had family issues. He didn't get into details,
but the weight of life. And this is so important
because somebody like Brad Pitt, at least on the outside,
seems to have it all. He's gorgeous, he's rich, He's

Brad Pitt. Like we make jokes about that, I'm not
Brad Pitt. He is. He is Brad Pitt. When he
looks in the mirror cleaning his teeth every morning, do
you know who's looking at him? Brad Pitt. Brad Pitt

even the biggest stars in the world, even the people

who look like they have it all, have struggles. This
is why I try not to judge people. I try
to give them a little bit of grace. When you
meet somebody, you don't know anything about their life. Maybe
ten percent, maybe twenty if they're a really close friend,
maybe fourty or fifty if they're your best friend. But
there is a lot of stuff, a lot of information,

a lot of feelings that we all carry around every
single day, and we don't share them, and people then
don't know what we are going through. Brad Pitts might
be handsome and rich and famous, but he struggles with
life like you and I and I think as sad
as that is, it's also inspiring. Nobody gets a free

pass in life. I used to think, Gosh, if I
was a little bit more handsome, if I was just
a little bit smarter, my life would be perfect. On
the true it is, it wouldn't. Everybody struggles, so a

things about Brather and Andy Cohen in a lawsuit. She
took them, she took them on. Ultimately this was settled,
It went away, the lawsuit, and now Nini's trying to
build bridges, shall we say? I think making a guest
appearance on this Ultimate Girl's Trip is a good idea.
I'm not sure she's going to be invited back yet
to the Real Housewives of Atlanta. It's tricky with these shows,

isn't it. Mister. You know TV better than any reporter
journalists that I know. I'm a little past the Housewives.
There was a minute when it was just so fabulous.
That's all we talked about. If we bumped into a
housewife at a party, it was so much fun. Now
they're sort of like a dimer dozen. There's so many
of them. There's so many new ones that I don't
really know, and they talk about it like it was

ten years ago. I didn't even watch this Girls Trip?

I didn't watch Girls Trip because of course it's all
about Real Housewives of Atlanta reunion right now. So we
just had part one, and as you've said a million times,
this is really when you prove if you deserve your
peach for the upcoming season, so we'll see. I mean,
people think that Duusidora gave good TV. They feel Kay

Michelle did, so if the other girls don't live up
to it, there may be an opportunity for Nini Leeks.
And I think that people have always wanted her back,
even if she comes back in a smaller role like
Cynthia Bailey has in the past year. No real peach,
but you're a friend to the ladies, and as we know,

people still clamor for those original casts. Over at ebony

We've been reporting this on the show throughout the week.
He is still in hospital. An attempted suicide attempt has
now been confirmed by his family. Who am I talking about?

Well that would you Jared Plecki? Okay, So basically he's
apologized after supporting Perez Hilton, who had a very traumatic
episode on Live Social and he's been hospitalized because of it.
So basically he said, you know, surrounding you with love
and support. But the reason why this received backlash is

because if you think back to the original Perez Hilton,
before he got thin and did all these TV shows,
he was pretty mean to celebrities. He was awful. He
started his site, and he basically not only just mean
to celebrities. What he'd say, he would actually, and we're

going to say allegedly, he would take photos from photo
sites without paying for them and use them to support
his stories, which is just something you don't do these
You know, photographers are working hard. They need to get
paid you have to go through a subscription service, which
is what we do, what we've always done, or get them,

you know, from the different networks or parties that are
giving them to you.

He was shady. He was shady a marriage. Yeah, so
the mechanics of the business is awful, but it's the
fact that he just said cruel things like we just
a vicious and drawing sexual innuendum on people's faces and
giving them nicknames. I hate nicknames. I hate people that

make up nicknames. It's just so insulting and so demeaning.
That was Perez. He did it mistake.

Yeah, so basically Jared, you know, deleted it and said
I do not stand for or support any of the
actions that I just found out that he has committed.

is why you've got to do your homework before you

of grace and forgiveness. I think Jared thought, oh, here's
somebody who had a breakdown, let's support him, let's say something.
But again, like I said, as we do as journalists
before we write something, we have to check it.

a terrible human being who has said some awful things
about people, and I think you can also feel sorry
for him. That's where I am. I want him to

in front of a crowd. He he's smart, but he
was very cruel back in the day and very very cool.
Just changing your appearance does not necessarily make you a

about Perez. I've known him for twenty five years. I

It's complicated. You do not want people to suffer, but

dilemma that so many people, journalists, fans, everybody is feeling.

A bad Peres is that he has a dark, dark past,
and to forget that because something awful happened is not
being true. For both can be true. We can wish him. Well,

made money from that show every week for twenty years.

They have a Ultimate Girl's Trip. This is where they
take ladies from different franchises, put them all together, take
them Monday k very funny idea. Well, guess who made
a surprise appearance on the show. Ninni leaks. So she's
not back on the Atlanta Housewives. She had a very
troubled exit. If you remember, she alleged some really awful

things about Brather and Andy Cohen in a lawsuit. She
took them, she took them on. Ultimately this was settled,
It went away, the lawsuit, and now Nini's trying to
build bridges, shall we say? I think making a guest
appearance on this Ultimate Girl's Trip is a good idea.
I'm not sure she's going to be invited back yet
to the Real Housewives of Atlanta. It's tricky with these shows,

isn't it. Mister. You know TV better than any reporter
journalists that I know. I'm a little past the Housewives.
There was a minute when it was just so fabulous.
That's all we talked about. If we bumped into a
housewife at a party, it was so much fun. Now
they're sort of like a dimer dozen. There's so many
of them. There's so many new ones that I don't
really know, and they talk about it like it was

ten years ago. I didn't even watch this Girls Trip?
Did you watch it?

I didn't watch Girls Trip because of course it's all
about Real Housewives of Atlanta reunion right now. So we
just had part one, and as you've said a million times,
this is really when you prove if you deserve your
peach for the upcoming season, so we'll see. I mean,
people think that Duusidora gave good TV. They feel Kay

Michelle did, so if the other girls don't live up
to it, there may be an opportunity for Nini Leeks.
And I think that people have always wanted her back,
even if she comes back in a smaller role like
Cynthia Bailey has in the past year. No real peach,
but you're a friend to the ladies, and as we know,

people still clamor for those original casts. Over at ebony
dot com, we've got the twenty best moments in Real
Housewives history, and a lot of them are from Real
Housewives of Atlanta. Go check it out.

But I think she's just taking those baby steps because,
as we know, if you want all your other businesses
outside of Real Housewives to work, you need to be
on Real Housewives.

forget this. They get on TV shows and they think
they're selling all this stuff because people love them. No,
they love the show and if you lose that anchor,
the rest of that business falls apart. So Nini needs
this show back. But god, I admit I think the
show needs Nini. There's not been another Nini, really hasn't. Okay,

moving along, a celebrity is apologizing for praising Perez Hilton.
We've been reporting this on the show throughout the week.
He is still in hospital. An attempted suicide attempt has
now been confirmed by his family. Who am I talking about?
What's going on? Oh?
Speaker 2 (11:49):
Well that would you Jared Plecki? Okay, So basically he's
apologized after supporting Perez Hilton, who had a very traumatic
episode on Live Social and he's been hospitalized because of it.
So basically he said, you know, surrounding you with love
and support. But the reason why this received backlash is

because if you think back to the original Perez Hilton,
before he got thin and did all these TV shows,
he was pretty mean to celebrities. He was awful. He
started his site, and he basically not only just mean
to celebrities. What he'd say, he would actually, and we're
(12:33):
going to say allegedly, he would take photos from photo
sites without paying for them and use them to support
his stories, which is just something you don't do these
You know, photographers are working hard. They need to get
paid you have to go through a subscription service, which
is what we do, what we've always done, or get them,
(12:53):
you know, from the different networks or parties that are
giving them to you.
Speaker 1 (12:57):
He was shady. He was shady a marriage. Yeah, so
the mechanics of the business is awful, but it's the
fact that he just said cruel things like we just
a vicious and drawing sexual innuendum on people's faces and
giving them nicknames. I hate nicknames. I hate people that

make up nicknames. It's just so insulting and so demeaning.
That was Perez. He did it mistake.
Speaker 2 (13:26):
Yeah, so basically Jared, you know, deleted it and said
I do not stand for or support any of the
actions that I just found out that he has committed.
He said he never really went to his site, didn't
really pay attention to Brez Hilton in that way, which
is why you've got to do your homework before you
do on someone. And he just came from a belief
(13:47):
of grace and forgiveness. I think Jared thought, oh, here's
somebody who had a breakdown, let's support him, let's say something.
But again, like I said, as we do as journalists
before we write something, we have to check it.
Speaker 1 (14:01):
Check out, check it out, check it out. And I
think both can be true. I think Perez can be
a terrible human being who has said some awful things
about people, and I think you can also feel sorry
for him. That's where I am. I want him to
be waking.
Speaker 2 (14:15):
We did a show with him once, we did, and
he knows a lot of information. He's he can speak
in front of a crowd. He he's smart, but he
was very cruel back in the day and very very cool.
Just changing your appearance does not necessarily make you a
better person.
Speaker 1 (14:35):
So it's a real big debate we're all having. Guy
was on my friend Maureen show yesterday. We were talking
about Perez. I've known him for twenty five years. I
knew him when he was Marrio, before he even became Perez.
It's complicated. You do not want people to suffer, but
you don't want to reward bad behavior. And that's the
dilemma that so many people, journalists, fans, everybody is feeling.

A bad Peres is that he has a dark, dark past,
and to forget that because something awful happened is not
being true. For both can be true. We can wish him. Well,
we can wish him the best. We can show him mystery,
the grace that he never showed anybody else. Okay, we're

When she pointed out Brook's gray hairs, bro calmly replied,
it's a sign of maturity. Criticized about her wrinkled she said,
because I'm worried about the world being filled with people
like you. How her funniest response came when her daughter

I guess it's worked out okay, And of course she

looks gorgeously quick if we all look like that at
sixty one, we will be very very happy.

I love sense of hum So there's also a real
lesson in this. When somebody bullishs you, brush it off.
Watch Brook. I know it's not real. I know it's
a bit of a joke. I know this is a gimmick,
but there's actually quite a lot of truth in this.
When somebody comes at you, brush it off, shake it off,
