Speaker 1 (00:09):
Advice. It's nice level love. Let me and Leve Leve
Leve level welcome through the naughty but Nicia, I'm your host,
drop shooter and it is Tuesday, which means our dear
friend Elena Dixon joins us. Hey, miss Da, are you there.

Speaker 2 (00:26):
I am back and I missed you guys, But I
went to Canada and that that was fun, went into
the Niagara Falls, so you know, just a little getaway
over Memorial Day weekends.

Speaker 1 (00:40):
So that's the best life. You have the best life,
and you deserve it. Okay, let's jump into the show.
What time is it, my friends? It is time. Big
story at the top of the show, and a sensitive
story here when I'm glad that I'm doing it with you,
miss So. Jennifer Lopez does support her child, but it's
not her story to tell. So we have been very
carefully Negotia really treading very lightly around this story. It

(01:04):
does appear as if one of Jennifer Lopez's kids, Emmy,
now goes by the name Oscar. We know that they
have changed their name to Oscar. Are they transitioning? Some
people are reporting that now Oscar uses the he pronouns,
and some people are not reporting that just because it's

(01:24):
a difficult subject to report, because this is somebody who
is still a child. On this show, we do not
talk about kids in a way that is sensational, that
is tabloid. But this is a story about Jennifer Two.
We've reached out to Jennifer's people, so many other outlets

(01:47):
have and there's been no response. And I think that
in itself is really interesting. She's arguably one of the
most famous people in the world. Let's remember her child
Emmy did perform with jaylo at Super Bowl. So this
is somebody who's out there. It's the sort of the
same thing about Northwest. Northwest is out there a lot,

(02:08):
but still a child, and so we tread very carefully
around Northwest. So Jennifer has decided that this is not
her story to tell. Insiders tell me that she really
recognizes that any child going through a major change in
their life when their parent has a big celebrity, that

(02:28):
is difficult. In fact, any child who has a parent
who's famous, whether or not they transition, whether or not
they change anything about themselves, it's still quite a difficult
thing to have. We've spoken to a lot of kids
of celebrities over the years, and it's much more tricky
than you first assume. Jennifer's aware of this. So she's

(02:49):
aware that she's famous, she's aware that the press is
always around her, and now she's aware that one of
her kids is going through something, is doing something that
is so private and so their story that I think
Jennifer's handling this just beautifully. What do you think mistake?

Speaker 2 (03:10):
Well, Oscar, as the name was posted in where this
person is going to college, it says everything you need
to know, right, Jennifer really doesn't have to say anything.
First of all, Oscar just turned eighteen. I think it
was a few months ago, so now they are an adult,
and it really truly is their story to tell once

(03:34):
they decide to say something. If Jennifer wants to say,
all she needs to say is I'm there for my child,
I love my child, I support my child. She's really
not expected to do anything more now. At some point
in her career or in the future, Jennifer might decide
to support LGBTQ rights or join an organization, and that

(03:58):
is her prerogative and do that, but she does not
have to say anything more about her child other than,
like I said, love support there for them.

Speaker 1 (04:11):
I've said period agreed to learning. That's actually right. We
should point out to you that Jennifer is a big
supporter of the LGBTQ community right now and often brings
a Pride flag out on stage. It's remarkable, isn't it.
Remember and Share Share was one of the first celebrities
who experienced this, and Chare said she did not handle

(04:33):
it well. Chare said she didn't know anything about it.
It was so alien, it was so new, it was
so different. And then she was like, I'm Share I'm
one of the coolest people in the world, and if
I'm struggling with this, then I can't imagine what other
families might be going through. I think j Loo is
going to become the perfect ambassador of being a mother

(04:57):
of a trans child when she's ready to do that,
because she is so famous. Her audience it is so
so gripped by everything. They're so involved in Jennifer's Jennifer's life.
Let's remember we saw these two little babies when they
were born on the cover of People magazine. We've known
these kids. Even though I think she's done a good

(05:18):
job of keeping them out of the spotlight. We've known
them since they were babies. J Loo having twins was
a major major announcement. Now some people are saying Mark
Anthony was not at the recent graduation ceremony. Is it
because of what's happening? Could be he's.

Speaker 2 (05:34):
A very Seriously I doubt that. I think just Mark
Anthony hasn't necessarily been kind of a regular presence in
his children's life. I'm sure he's there for them, calls
them on birthday since mccards supports them, but it's not
been this case of he's always physically there. So I
think it has very little to do whether one of

(05:54):
the children is going through transition or deciding they are
non binary or whatever. The kid maybe it's just that's
not his Emma.

Speaker 1 (06:03):
I think you're right. It's a learning process, isn't it.
When we first started working on TV together over a
decade ago, mister Caitlyn Jenna transitioned and it's very tricky
for us, not because we weren't being supportive, not because
we weren't being sensitive. It was just a new subject
for journalists, and often we would apologize at the top

(06:23):
of the show and say, if we mess this up,
it's not because there's any hate in our heart. It's
because this is new to us, and we knew Caitlyn
as Bruce for a really long time, and occasionally we
would call Caitlyn he by mistake and we would correct it.
And so don't get angry out there if people make mistakes,

(06:43):
if people say something that isn't quite the way you're
meant to say it, think about what's in their hearts.
That's what I do all the time. I have some
quite conservative friends and even family members, and they still
sometimes say stuff about the community that makes me cringe
a little bit, but they don't mean in their hearts,

(07:05):
and I gently adjust them. I gently give a suggestion
of the way they could say it, and they often
change pretty quickly the way they talk about it. But
this is a subject that I knew we could talk about, naughties.
I've avoided this for a while because I don't want
to make anybody uncomfortable or a family show here. But
families can be all sorts of different people. And once again,

(07:28):
I think Jennifer is handling this beautifully. So let's do
our pole of the day. Jayla supports her children, but
doesn't want to tell their story. It's their story to
tell is this the right move or the wrong move? Remember,
she's one of the most famous people in the world.
She's probably gonna get asked about this. What do you think?
Is this the right move staying silent or is it

(07:50):
the wrong move? Hey? Go vote on our Twitter page
at Naughty Nice RABA. Facebook page is Naughty Gossip and
be sure to check that. A'ma rau to hear your results.
Sa Misty, what are you working on them?

Speaker 2 (08:06):
I'm working on Taylor Swift and her wedding guest licks
is starting to look super exclusive. I'm sorry to tell you, Rob,
we did not make the list. I know we had
our fingers crossed. So sources tell page six that the
former inner circles of Miles Teller and his wife will
not be attending Swift's upcoming wedding to Travis Kelsey, despite

(08:28):
being really close to the couple just a few years ago. Now.
The snub comes amid growing speculation that several of Taylor's
high profile friendships have quietly cooled and the last time
we saw the Tailors kind of hanging out with the
last time we saw the Tellers hanging out with Taylor
was at the twenty to twenty four Super Bowl celebrations

(08:52):
and fans have noted that his wife's once frequent social
media support has largely disappeared. Of course they're not alone.
We know Lively is not coming to that wedding. Carly
Klaus is not supposed to be there. So I mean,
it just seems and I can understand this. It's Taylor Swift.
I mean, at this point I would just say, girl,

(09:13):
just invite your family, have a really small, intimate wedding,
and then afterwards, if you want to have a big party,
go ahead and do it, blow it out. But for
the ceremony, when you say your ideas, when you sign
that legal paperwork, just keep it among family. That's the
simplest and easiest thing to do.

Speaker 1 (09:34):
Yeah, I agree, If you missed, I think friendship's life
goes through ebbs and flows. When I and Bruce got married,
I had a very very small wedding. It was less
than sixty people. I loved it, and I didn't invite
every person I'd ever taken a photograph with, or every
famous person I'd ever met. And so Taylor, my, you

(09:54):
know you do you this is your day. You invite
who you want, whoever the bride and groom want to
invite who should be there, and if you don't make
the cut, it's all fine. They can still be friendly.
We've got to be honest too. There's a little secret
here is that we think celebrities and celebrities are friends
because they're famous, and often it's a photograph. Often it
is a picture that is taken at the same event.

(10:16):
Often it is somebody that just caught them on camera together.
They were an award show, maybe they're making a movie together.
Like you and I, celebrities have work friendships. They have
people that they work with, and they change jobs a lot.
If you're an actress, an actor, you'relready on the set
for six months and then you're in a new set,
So it's almost like twice a year you get a

(10:37):
new job. Can you imagine how many people you'd have
in your life if every year you've got two new jobs,
if every year you got a new position. And so
they meet a ton of people. They meet celebrities at
award shows. Now she was close with Miles Teller, but
how close you know? I think when we had our
morning show, Misty, it was really easy for the viewers
to think that the four of us will really close,

(10:59):
and that just I wasn't quite true. In fact, there
was a lot of friction between the four of us,
but on camera, when the cameras went on, we smiled.
And even this made me giggle. One of us had
a wedding that the other three had to go to
because we were all on the same show. We wouldn't
have gone otherwise.

Speaker 2 (11:15):
Well, it wouldn't have gone if I hadn't gone, and
I want to go.

Speaker 1 (11:19):
Yeah, you had to come and collect me. I didn't
even want to go that night. And so I think
this is about It's not about photo ops, this is
not about publicity. This is about real friendship, and there
is a difference. Learn it in your own life. I
know my real friends, and I know the people that
I like to hang out with. They're a sort of fern.
But there is a difference. Taylor, you do you okay?

(11:40):
Moving along, Megan Markle, Oh this made me giggled. Megan
Markle's words are coming back to haunt so Bagg In
twenty and sixteen, the future Duchess of Sussex, she wasn't
yet married to Harry. She said that Candle's costing more
than one hundred dollars was obnoxious, insisting that she was
products that ordinary people could actually afford. Well, now she's

(12:05):
got a candle for sale for over two hundred dollars,
double the price that she said was obnoxious. Now supporters
are saying she also does have a few candles in
the collection for about sixty bucks. Sixty bucks for a candle.
That's still a lot of money. But it makes me giggle.
If you say something, what ten years ago, and you're
really famous, it's on tape, it's out there, and so

(12:28):
it can sort of be used against you. Now some
people could argue, goodness knows, over the last ten years,
over the last two years, inflation has been so crazy
that I can't believe what we're paying for gas and groceries.
I mean, it is insane. I went for dinner last
night this but the bill came and this is not
a fancy restaurant. I was like, oh my goodness, you'd

(12:48):
think I was eating at Jean Jorge or some fabulous French.
This was a corner diner. Everything is so damn expensive.
Maybe it's just inflation, what do you think?

Speaker 2 (13:01):
Yeah, so yeah, And I believe it's like a collection
of candles that you get for two fifty six. It's
not one candle, which would be very, very expensive. But
this just goes to show that if you're starting a
brand and your last name happens to be Markle, you
need to kind of do a deep dive into things
that you've said in the past. She could have done

(13:22):
a thirty two dollars candle and made sure that the
price was ninety nine, and it would have been a
great marketing strategy as well, to be like I promised
you ten years ago, the candles shouldn't be over one
hundred dollars. And with my new collection, you get luxury
without the luxury price. And I think it's just taking

(13:42):
that moment. As you know, as reporters, we always think
twice before we put something, you know, before we press
the published button or put it in print, because we
know it's going to be examined, especially in a time
of social media. So Megan, pull in close, listen to
mama and you I've been here for a long time,
know what I mean. Listen to your mama, go back

(14:05):
check things before you do. Think, girl, Oh, give me
a call. I know your life story. I write about
it all the time.

Speaker 1 (14:11):
Call people that don't know what Delaana is referring to is.
Several years ago, about a decade ago, Delada took a
picture with Megan Martel and the photo agency, the Big
photo agency listed it as Megan Markel and her mom
and that picture actually got picked up or when she
got married, and every outlet in the world needed a
photograph of Megan. They also read a picture of abnesdy Okay,

(14:33):
quickly before we get a break, Delia, this is really sweet.
Kella Reeves is gushion over his girlfriend. They never really
talk about each other, but he's saying something so lovely.
What does he have to say, Well.

Speaker 2 (14:44):
There's no seven year itch here. So he made a
rare public comment about his longtime girlfriend, Alexander Grant, sweetly
agreeing that this is an artist who is an easy
woman to love. They've been together since twenty nineteen. They
look happier than and ever, sharing kisses and laughing together,
and she also opened up about the relationship, revealing that

(15:06):
her artwork has become noticeably brighter and happier since finding
love with Kenna. Raised, girl, you are so lucky, and
she just said, you know, it's undeniable. They connected through
a publishing project and they're friendship blossomed into romance and
you know what, this is just a Hollywood love story

(15:27):
that has a happy ending. And people who know Keanu
Reeves pass He's had some tragic situations with girlfriends and
passings and things like this. So to find out that
he is happy and just healthy and has a woman
that he loves and she loves him. Go on, girl, Yeah.

Speaker 1 (15:44):
There awesome, really really beautiful, and that's a really nice thing.
I love that phrase. Be an easy person to love?
Are you an easy person to love? You all mistake
easy person to love? Okay, we're going to take a
quick break to the movie right back. Welcome back to
the naughty but nice of your host of shoot with
our dear friend mister Hey misle, let's get to the

(16:06):
Poles nice show. We talked about the former Prince Andrew
is facing new, yes, new sexual misconduct allegations. All this
full end up in jail. What do you think Willie
end up in jail? Ninety percent said yes, Well, I
think ninety percent should be absolutely right enough enough. Don't

(16:27):
forget to vote on today's pole. Go to have Twitter page.
I had not a nice rob Facebook pages an auto
and be sure to check back time ARRIVD to hear
your results. And now it's doing for a nice of
the day.

Speaker 2 (16:43):
This is so nice. It's actually something that Howard Stern said,
and he's celebrating a remarkable victory because Robin Quivers, who's
been his longtime radio show host, has revealed that she
is officially cancer free, yes, forty years of battling with
the disease. They said this on an episode of the

(17:04):
show how We're called in a Miracle and praised Robin
for never giving up and basically said, Robin kicked cancer's ass. Yes,
I'm using the word and he still gets chills thinking
about the phone call where she shared this life changing update.
She's seventy three. She was first diagnosed in twenty twelve,

(17:24):
underwent a hysterectomy, you know, been through radiation treatments, but
she never gave up. So there are nicest of our
day and I'm just so happy for her. And keep
on trucking, girl.

Speaker 1 (17:35):
Yeah yeah, yeah, And I love the relationship. These to
have real friends, good colleagues, but real friends like us.
They are like us. In my EARLYPRS days, I did
not represent Robin but she was represented by the big
agency I worked at. She was a delight. Everybody that
worked on the Robin account said, what a lovely, small,

(17:57):
brilliant person. So, Robin, you're a nicest of the day.
And now I noticed the day. Naughty naughty, naughty Sydney
Sweeney's Times Square first time experience. She went to Times
Square for the very first time and videoed it doesn't
quite add up. So she went to Times Squares with
her boyfriend Scooter Braun, the Scooter Braun who betrayed Taylor Swift,
remember him? And she said, I've never been to the

(18:19):
iconic Times Square before. Well, however, there's photographs of her
with Glenn Powell. Guess where she is promoting her movie?
She in Times Square. So we got pictures of you
in Times Square from two three years ago. Big picture.
Does it matter? No big stories that you tell, Just
be I've never been here as a tourist. I've never

(18:41):
been here as a scooter.

Speaker 2 (18:45):
Finish the sentence.

Speaker 1 (18:47):
Finish that's good. I bet you tell everybody that works
with you, everybody that writes for you. Mister finished the sentence. Naughty, naughty, noughty.
Let's end with a moment of Rob You're I had
to learn this one. So stop chasing people who don't
choose you. One of the hardest lessons in life is
realizing that not everybody is meant to stay. We waste

(19:08):
so much energy chasing people who ignore us, who overlook us,
who make us feel like an option instead of a priority. Instead,
invest your time in people who show up, people that
return your calls, people who celebrate your wins. That's a
big one for me. If I win, and occasionally I do,
I look around, I see who is cheering for me

(19:30):
and who's jealous. Look for those people. The right people
won't make you beg for their attention. They won't. They
won't choose those who choose you. Hey, that is it
for today. Thank you so much for listening to the
Naughty but Nice with Rob Ann Misdy. We are a
production of Elvis Duran and IHEARTRADI You don't forget to

(19:53):
subscribe to my substack and it's blowing up robshooter substack
dot com and also to my novel. If you have
not yet got a copy of my novel, It's started
with a whisper. Join the conversation. We're going to start
a little bit of a book club in a few weeks.
If you want to catch up, if you want to
read a few chapters, you might recognize a few characters

(20:13):
in the book. Mister, pick up a copy. It is
available right now. And remember all together now, if you're
going to be naught, you got nice. Take care of everybody.
It's not even nice with bro
