Speaker 1 (00:08):
Sure, it's time nice and low and low and lower low,
welcome to you, not even nice, share your host.

Speaker 2 (00:20):
And it's Thursday, which means our dear friend who's freshly showered.
I believe Mark Lufo joined us Haley for you look
very very dapper today.

Speaker 3 (00:28):
Here and thank you very much. I did shower for
you this morning.

Speaker 2 (00:32):
I you like to be clean, Mark, I really do.
It's your thig. You like to be clean. I think
you told me once. And it might be a little
bit too much information at the top of the show,
but if you meet somebody cute at a bar and
you go back for a kiss and a cuddle, you're
like a quick shower first.

Speaker 3 (00:47):
Hygiene is so important to me. And if you have
bad breath and you smell, I'm out. It doesn't work.

Speaker 2 (00:53):
Is this because of Doris your mummy the dentist?

Speaker 3 (00:55):
Think it might be.

Speaker 2 (00:56):
That's what it is. That's what we've got Doris to
thank for cleansing ess. So Mark is currently in a relationship,
but if he wasn't and you met him in a bar,
please be clean, please. Okay, public service announcement done, Let's
jump into the show. What time is it, my friends,
it is Tee Time big story at the top of

(01:17):
the show, Meghan Marco made a secret trip to the UK.
Can you get your head around that? Not totally true.
What happened is that her plane had to stop at
Heathrow Airport, so she was flying back to Los Angeles
from Geneva, where she made that speech about online bullion,
which has had a little bit of a backlash because
the day before she did post a picture of of

(01:37):
all the type Megan not like really, really, but you're
going to post a picture lit her hair so red
or it's gorgeous, a mane of red hair, a staring
at her. But then I did realize, well, within twenty
four hours, Megan is going to be doing a speech
about online bullion with children. So just you know, you
can square it by saying this is how you put

(01:58):
children on because their faces and but it's just the
messy conversation for her to have that she didn't need
to have. She didn't need to post that picture. Well,
Meghan's posted again because nobody knew this. You can't apparently
fly directly from Geneva to Los Angeles. Guess where you
have to stop? Mark London he Throw Airport. Now the
reason we know about this is the folks at British Airways.

(02:18):
They left her a sweet note. They were excited. It's
the Duchess of Sussex and they left her a lovely note.
It was a wedding anniversary. She took a picture of
the note she posted. Now, these British Airways people are like,
what is going on because all the prints are like
furious for them being nicense. She posted the note A
flood of comets here, but he is interesting. Can you

(02:40):
imagine stoping in a country that you think really betrayed you.
That's her point of view here. She's very very angry
with what happened to her while allegedly happened to her
in Britain, but she didn't have to stop over, so
she was at the airport. But he throw airport. There's
a lot of Union jacks like it is British, British, British,

(03:00):
and she stopped there. In the fact that she got
this note for the British Airway stuff tells me she
was probably flying British Airways and so it just sort
of makes me chruckle in a bit of a naughty
way here that she did. She has returned to Britain,
so she hasn't been there in years now. Technically, if
you're at the airport mark does that cat are you
in the country?

Speaker 3 (03:21):
I think yes, I don't know. I think it's like
federal space technically. Oh oh. And however, I mean, this
does feel like her attempt her toe into the pond
and see the reactions of is she welcome back? Is
this the time to kind of maybe reconsider things? And
maybe she might end up with Harry there. I don't know,

(03:42):
but it was.

Speaker 2 (03:43):
It made me laugh too, Raby, Now, wouldn't she. I've
had to stop over in places in cities when I'm traveling,
and if I know somebody in the city, I always
meet up with them. If we've got a two or
three hour stopover, I'll text my friends and so let's
go and grab a coffee. Or she didn't do that,
would is she? The answer is no, what does she

(04:05):
popped over to the palace while I was there? I
would have said, well, while I'm here, I might as well.
Although King Charles was in America and he never actually
saw them, so I think this is just so awful.
But he is a little amusing and it's really petty
and that's why we love this family. They are the
Petty's family. They are they can't help themselves. And Megan's

(04:28):
need for attention, it's a bottomless pit. She didn't need
to post this if I was sneaky sneaking into a country,
or I didn't feel like I was welcome, even if
it was for a few hours. Don't tell anybody. We'll
get to the airport, mark, me and you. I'll wear
my sunglasses and a big hat. We'll go and sit upstairs.
I put a scarf around the head. We'll be in

(04:49):
the first class line. She's not in coach like me
and you, Mark, so she's in the first class lounge.
Got British airways at Heathron. I've been there, thank you
for My nephew is a pilot. I don't fly first class,
but he can get into the language. So I speaking
and I sit there. Nobody's bothering. Yet she could have
snuck into the louder with a bodyguard, with a security
with her assistant. I guess her hair and makeup. She

(05:10):
shed quite an us. She could have slipped it and
then jumped on a plane and nobody would have been
mother wire. So let's remind everybody too. The British Airways staff,
they did not post this online. She did. They left
her a little personal note and now she's posted it online.
Oh the Brits. They don't. They don't like her mark.

Speaker 3 (05:30):
They do not like they don't. I think it's funny.
She never misses a moment to remind us that she
is a royal in some capacity, and then she also
doesn't miss a moment to monetize that too.

Speaker 2 (05:43):
Soome. She posted some wedding pictures, beautiful, never seen before
pictures at her wedding, her and Harry dance in the
first kiss. Stuff, that's so intimate, that's so beautiful. She
could add all the royal family. There's no pictures of
anybody in the royal family. And then at the end
of that, she tried to sell us a candle. Oh,
I love sixty sixty for a candle that smelt of

(06:06):
the life she left. I mean, really, what I mean?

Speaker 3 (06:10):
Eight years It's not like a tenth anniversary or something.

Speaker 2 (06:13):
It's a very bad brand. She's never business an opportunity,
which brings us to a whole question of the day.
Meghan stopped at London's Heathrow Airport for a transfer. She
was the very few hours. Do you think she'll ever
return to the UK for an extended period? Not for
a couple of hours at the airport? That doesn't count.
Will she ever ever? That's a big word. Will she

(06:35):
ever go back? Go vote on our Twitter page and
naughty nice rum Facebook page is naughty gossip and be
sure to check back tomorrow to hear your results, hey,
or even results results, Hale, what are you working on? Man?

Speaker 3 (06:54):
Drama for Village Village All is slamming and unauthorized biopic,
saying they won't get the rights to the music all right.
As we explained, so Billy Joel is making it crystal flair.
He wants no part of this upcoming biopic about his life.
The legendary singer is pushing back hard against Billy and Me.
It's a new film focused on his early career and

(07:14):
relationship with former manager Irwin Missouri. Now Joel's reps say
the production does not have his approval, his life rights,
or his permission to use his music. They will not
be able to secure the music rights required for the project,
has rep said, and the film is still moving forward
with director John Ottoman, who is known for working on

(07:35):
Bohemian Rhaposdi. It's one of the biggest biopics of all
time any common project. Emotional, inspiring and deeply human. Now,
I think where he gets messy is the story explores
his rise to fame, his troubled early years, and the
collapse of his friendship with former bandmate John Small after
Joel's affair with his wife.

Speaker 2 (07:55):
Was that sounds like a messy movie to celebrity do
these biopic So this is what the trouble is. So
the Michael one is monstrous, and Michael jacksonon could overtake
Bohemian Rhapsoday as a billion dollar film. But none of
it's the truth that miss out everything that they don't
want you to hear. They just sort of gloss over.
It's like if you see Michael Jackson on Broadway that musical.

(08:16):
It's fabulous, but none of it actually really deals with
what really happened. When you're talking about Michael Jackson, there's many,
many things, many of them not funny, that happen and
they just ignored it. Billy, I get it. He doesn't
want this to come out. He did that amazing documentary
which is great on HPO. Gosh, it was long that
it was like eight hours, but it was fan fascinating.

(08:37):
He doesn't want to buy a pick. Now, can you
do it without the music? I don't know if you can.
I don't know if it's a Billy Joel, if they
use music generic music, I don't really know. If you
can do it. They're gonna move forward with it though.
It's a fascinating, fascinating legal argument. I can make a
movie about you, Mark without your permission. I can. I

(08:58):
can do it. You might not like it. I can
write a book about be careful. I can a book
about you without your You can do it. What stops
a lot of these movies from moving forward is they
can't get the rights to the music. So if you
want to do the Taylor Swift story, you can do it,
but you can't get her songs, And then what sort

(09:18):
of the point of doing it without without the song?
So it's a tricky balance these artists have. Billy doesn't
want this movie made, and so I guess they can
do it without him, but without the music. I don't
know if it will be very successful. Okay, moving along,
Carson Daly admits that he doesn't really talk to his
thirteen year old daughter out. So kids go through awkward stages.

(09:41):
You probably did, Mark, When were you a bratt? You're
still last remember you, you don't miss it, not blopool.
Were you nice at school?

Speaker 3 (09:49):
Or you're a bit brattleing parents, darlings?

Speaker 2 (09:54):
That poor brother yours, Jonathan, or had you? I can't
imagine waking up with you with the same house every day,
exha including weekends. He never leaves, he's here every day. Well,
at thirteen years old, you know you could be a
bit odd with your parents. So Carson did something I
think it's really lovely. He joined Snapchat. He met his
daughter where she was. She's on Snapchat all the time,

(10:17):
so he said, I literally communicate with my daughter now
more on Snapchat than in person. Not great, but it's
better than not communicating at all. I have a lovely story.
My next door neighbor, Ruth, who fled the Nazis as
a child, a Holocaust survivor, my next door neighbor. I
love her. She recently passed away at ninety seven. However,
when she turned ninety, she wanted a better relationship with

(10:39):
her grandchildren, so she joyined. She got an iPhone and
she learned how to text. At ninety and she started
to text her grandkids and suddenly it wasn't like you
had to call Grandma every day, which can be a
little bit of a hassle if you're young, you don't
have the time. I get it, and so then the
text and Ruth would have four or five different conversation

(11:00):
with all her grandkids throughout the day, and she thoroughly
enjoyed it. Meet people where they are. I'm old school,
so I used to very much enjoy jumping on a
phone for an hour and gossiping and laughing. But a
lot of people just don't have that in their repertoire.
It's just not their thing. Some young people actually get
anxious of their phone rings, and so I've learned that
texting now is probably the way to go. Do you

(11:21):
try and meet people where they are? Mark?

Speaker 3 (11:23):
It's funny. I was at a pre last night and
there was a few people in their mid twenties, and
I noticed that everything was going through Instagram, their communications
immediately following you on Instagram? Who do you know on Instagram?
Who are your mutual friends? And I was like, God,
this is so like not what I'm interested in doing.

Speaker 2 (11:40):
It's not like world. Yeah, yeah. At my book parties,
I have been meeting new people. I love it. And
if they're twenty to thirty, they don't want my phone number.
They want to know what my Instagram is and then
they DM me and it's a wild new world. I
like the cast and did this. It's his daughter. He
wants a relationship with that etters her name, and so

(12:01):
he talked about it. I'm sure I don't know how
she feels about him talking about I think it's probably
if you've got a shy daughter, be on national TV.
Be careful. Okay, moving along. I love this story because
it's a bit shady, and I don't know which part
of it to actually believe. I have an opinion. Mark,
the original survive of Richard Hatch, claims that CBS snubbed
him for the finale, the season fiftieth finale. What's going on?

Speaker 3 (12:24):
That's right? So, the original Survivor winner blasted the network
on social media. After CBS Mornings reportedly stated that all
the past champions had been invited to the milestone celebration,
he said, I'm the original winner and I was not invited.
Seniors quickly pushed back, insisting in a statement that every
winner received an invitation to the finale event honoring the

(12:46):
show's legacy. Now he has a complicated relationship with the franchise,
which has followed him for many years. The star was
also excluded from all Winners Winners at War season. Back
in twenty twenty, after a long time post Jeff Probes
admitted he didn't feel comfortable bringing hatchback because of past controversies,

(13:06):
which included in some he was never convicted for criminally
charged with sex crime. However, though he was embroiled in
a highly publicized sexual harassment contract. I remember by other
seasons of SRI.

Speaker 2 (13:19):
I remember that It's tricky, isn't it. When these shows
have their anniversaries. What do they do about the bad apples,
the people that they're not that proud of. When The
Today Show had their big anniversary, they didn't mention Matt
Lauer like he was on the show for a long time.
And so it's very, very tricky here. He is the

(13:39):
original winner. When you say survivor, Richard Hatch is the
one that I remember as winning. I couldn't tell you.
It's like he is the Kelly Clarks. I don't know
any other maybe carry underword, but I couldn't name the winners.
I could name Richard Hatch because that first season everybody
was watching. That show was getting twenty million viewers. I
did watch last night. I still enjoy it. It sucks

(14:01):
me in, it does make me giggling. Jeff Proops had
a terrible faux pas. He announced somebody had been sent
home before we actually saw the video clip. He got confused.
Oh that was messy. But I do like Live TV
and handled it really, really well. But I think I think,
I don't know. I'm with Richard Hatch at this I
don't think he was invited.

Speaker 3 (14:21):
I don't think, but I want to see him there truly.

Speaker 2 (14:24):
He is a mess, as it's great TV. Honey talking
about a mess, and this is a little close to you.
Mark Loup Snooky is claiming that Wendy Williams forced her
to drink beer on Live TV to prove she wasn't pregnant.
Wendy back in the day was outrageous and that's what
made this show so delicious. I know we're looking at
it now through a lens of today, and this stuff
we shouldn't do. We could look at Barbara Walters and

(14:45):
a lot of TV shows and we're like, oh, that's
really cringey. Now America's next up model. Anybody how cringey
is that? But back in the day, and I was
a regular guest on that show, it was all done
with the sort of wink and a humor. At least
it felt like that in the studio. So Snookia is
saying she went on the sh and when he got
the rumor that she was pregnant. So when she decided
is that rageous that she was going to ask her
to drink beer on the show to prove if she

(15:07):
was pregnant or not. Snookie said she pretended to drink
the beer where she wouldn't confirm that she was pregnant.
But soon afterwards she did have her first child, Mark
what happened?

Speaker 3 (15:16):
It's still and I remember this, Uh this is about
fifteen years ago at this point, so you know, looking
back at a time where it was different and then
you know, Wendy was outrageous and sometimes these things happened
like live and spontaneously on TV, and so yeah, it
was a big problem in the moment. It's snooky. I
think none of us really respected her at that time
because she was being drunk and getting arrested on her

(15:38):
own right. She comes here and there's you know, rumors
on whatever, and maybe looking back, that wasn't the best choice.
But I don't think anyone had a malicious intent for her.

Speaker 2 (15:46):
We just she was. It wasn't amazing, It was silly.
But it's funday. But I don't know if you can
do it today. I don't know, but it's in its moment. Oh, Wendy,
I do this show. That's how I met you, Mark
at the Wendy Show. Okay, we're going to take it
a quick break and we will be right back. Welcome
back to the naughty, even nicer on your hairs rather

(16:07):
su to Hey, let's get to the polls that yesterday
we revealed that Taylor Swift and Travis will have a
pre nup good idea or a bad idea. Ninety's a
good idea. Taylor's got two billion, that Travis is no
slat cheer. It's got ninety min Normally ninety million, you'd
be like, wow, that's a lot of money. But next
to Taylor is like a pauper. He's like poor. He's

(16:28):
positively in the poor. I feel bad for this poor guy.
They will have a prenup. I think it's probably a
good idea. What do you think about prenups? Mark? Will
you sign one with Kevin if you get married?

Speaker 3 (16:38):
What do you think very much into prenups? Because I
think it keeps you.

Speaker 2 (16:41):
It's important idea. Oh, it's important, and you are very
much about the rules. Mark, you always play by.

Speaker 3 (16:49):
I'm not gonna work.

Speaker 2 (16:50):
I didn't sign a pre nup. Don't tell Bruce or anything.
I know. I didn't sign one. Okay, don't forget to
vote on today's pole. Get to add Twitter page at

the days.

Speaker 3 (17:09):
Taylor Swift, we love it. He stunned in a romantic
blue dress at the chief Stars Grease wedding. Taylor turned
headed angriase after a new photo surfaced from Pantasy Chiefs
player George Carlo's lavish wedding. The pop star looked effortlessly
romantic and a flowing blue Zimmerman celebrating their marriage to

(17:30):
Kaya Harris.

Speaker 2 (17:33):
It's beautiful market. So she turned up. She turned up,
and I'm told she was treated pretty much like any
other guests. That's impossible, she's Taylor Swift. But I think that, like,
you know, you show up for your friends, Like even
if you have to fly to Grease. I hate a destination.
Whether just do it in New York. We're all here.
It's some of the best hotels in the world. Do
I really have to get a Kanos? Like really?

Speaker 3 (17:55):
No? But I will say Greece. If I'm gonna have
a wedding, it would be there outside of New York.
It's it is pretty much.

Speaker 2 (18:00):
I might consider coming if I can sit next to Jonathan,
your brother. Okay, now, and I don't even know if
you're invited him or me. Now, I noticed the day
Naughty Naughty TJ Holmes and Amy wrote back up back,
So they're feeling a little bit out of the spotlights
and the pronubts that they are going to get married.
They were on a podcast and they were talking about
marriage and he said, yes, we've set a date, and

(18:20):
Amy really fell off a chair. So I didn't realize
you had agreed to that. So it seems to be
here is if Amy set the date, TV didn't really
commit to it. Now that they're on a podcast. Now
he said they will. He's dragging his feet here all
the red flags mark it's all it's Amy's wedding. It's
not there where. This feels like Amy wants to get
married and he'll just do it to shut up. It's

(18:41):
just the If this was a friend, if this was somebody,
if this was you, I would like shake you for Amy, Amy, Amy.
Of these two, let's end with the moment of Army,
you're gonna rub. Successful people fail more, period. They just
don't stay down. And successful people often fail four more

(19:02):
times than unsuccessful people ever will. The difference is not
talent to a look or perfect timing, its attitude. While
although people see if failure as proof that they should quit,
I've done that. Oh I'm not very good at this.
I failed four times. I should quit, successful people see
it as part of the process. It's just the process.
They fall, they regoop, they learn, they get up, and

(19:23):
they keep moving. Success rarely belongs to the people who
never fail. Everyone I know who's super super super successful
has failed a lot. It belongs to the people who
got back up, just one more time, keep getting back
up once again. You gotta fail to succeed. I love
the expression the road to success is paved with failure.

(19:48):
I fail over and over and over and over again,
and I have to fail so I can learn from
it and get back up and succeed. And once you succeed,
everybody gets about all that failure. Keep going, naughties. Don't
be embarrassed to fail. It's actually a really good thing. Hey,
that is it for today. Thank you so much for listening.
