That it is tea time. We have some horrifying new
details about the Perez Hilton mentalalth breakdown attempted suicide. Now
we're finding out that the children were in the home,

and the reason we know this is the family is
speaking out. I'm not quite sure why they're talking about
this so much. I have a theory, which we'll get
to a little later on. But the heartbreaking details have
emerged about Perez's Hilton's I had never known quite what
to call him, because I call him Mario. I've known
him for thirty years, so I say Mario, but people

know him as Pereers and so that's sometimes why I
stumble over there. So if I go back and forth
between Marie and Press, you know who I'm talking about.
Perez's mental health crisis, his family. Of all people, his
family are revealing that Perez's three children, who I've met,
along with his sister and his niece, were inside the
Miami home minutes before the incident unfolded. When it became

clear he was experiencing a severe mental health crisis, they
immediately got the kids out of the house. So some
people are saying, how could they leave him, how could
they run away? They did run out of the house,
but it was because they wanted to get those three
kids out of the house. Now the family is asking
for privacy, which is very complicated because they are also

putting out statements. Perez remains in hospital. He is receiving
medical care, and loved ones and his fans continue to
pray for him. This has been a very difficult story
for me to report because I know Perees. I've seen
the good and the bad, and what I've decided is
that I'm going to give him grace in a time

that he probably wouldn't give it to us. Like he
was not the kindest person. He wasn't when anything bad
happens to somebody, when a celebrity passes, when somebody gets
in trouble, we say to them, we canonize them, we
make them into something that's just not true. And I
think it is far more healthy for them and ourselves

to acknowledge that Perez is a very, very difficult person.
He dealt in cruelty, he dealt in hate, and it
made him very very successful for a certain period of time.
My sources are telling me that it was money, it
was lack of power, it was that the day has
gone where he was relevant. That all added to this crisis.

be kind. Yes, it's tricky. What are you hearing?

Yeah, I agree with you totally. We have to extend

grace to someone who maybe we might see is not
deserving in many aspects. However, yes, I am hearing as
well that it was the fact that now he is
completely a social pariah in Hollywood. He is someone no
longer allowed in those circles where he used to have access.

And let's not forget he was one of the first
websites that generated serious income. His website was generating millions
of dollars in its heyday from advertising because he had
all these salacious stories about celebrities and people would go
to his website, which was very lucrative. All that has
dried up, all that's gone, and he's reportedly, you know,

taking offers from anywhere and anything, which are not adding
up to the same lucrative lifestyle that he used to have.
So the pressure was mounting. But I think the big
issue is a he's a social outcast now in Hollywood,
and that's a far far from grace from where he
used to be, so it's difficult.

In the early two thousands, he had every publicist on
speed dial, including me, and we would lead stuff to
him and would give him stuff, and before we went
to People magazine or a weekly or one of the
big TV shows, we'd get a preyers. People were sitting
in that offices, including me, hitting refresh over and over
and over again, and that generated traffic and his numbers

were staggering. Before Instagram, social media, before TikTok, you'd go
to Pereers. He was the original, he was on Twitter,
he was it and I tip my hat for that.
I do tip my hat for the hard work he did.
He does. His work ethic was extraordinary. I could email
him or text him. I think email was BlackBerry back then. Yeah,

it is. Before we had eyes. If you emailed Marrio,
he'd email you back within ten minutes. It was extraordinary
being around that energy, that passion. It all stopped and
it wasn't just his fault. Part of it was that
we became better people and the world changed and that
type of nastiness was no longer acceptable. Remember when Simon

Cowell could say horrible things about people but clearly were
mentally challenged, that had mental health issues. Right when on
American idol William Young, Remember his fun like that he
couldn't do today. The world has changed, thankfully, that's a
good thing. So Perez tried to change that site, and
the minute he was not himself, we knew it wasn't real.

We knew it wasn't authentic. This story, though, about the
kids is absolutely alarming. I am working on this twenty
four hours a day. I'm told from sources close to
the family that his mom would now like to get
custody of the kids. His clean going to be in
hospital for a certain amount of time, and then when

he comes out of hospital, I think he's having trouble
where we know he's having trouble looking after himself. Sure
he can't look after three kids while he's in this state.
So I think we're going to see the kids live
with his mom for a long time. Complicated. I just
read a friend of mine, Shirley Helper and who's a
brilliant editor of Rolling Stone magazine, and she has a
piece up today on Rolling Stone about her complicated relationship

with him, and she said she knows all the good
and all the bad. There's a lot of bad there,
but she's going to try and remember that he is
a human being, he's a person here. And I think
the name that we spoke about at the top of
the show is really interesting because, like me, Shirley from
Rolling Stone doesn't know whether she wanted to call him

Marrio or she knew he was married. So she decided
that in all her exchange with Pereers, she called him
p just pee. However, today she's not thinking about p
or Perez. She's thinking about Marion, thinking about the human
being who's a father of three kids. So I think,
moving forward, Mario, it should be not Perez. Maybe it's
time that this Perez thing ended a marrier.

Yeah, because he did his whole like apology tour on
Ellen and then he was but then he was like

Brian Austin Green, she admitted that she is not ready
to quote speak my truth, and she's saying that she
wants time to reflect before explaining why she walked away
after nearly six years. Now, I had no idea there
was there was a nine O two one o MG podcast,
but it sounds fabulous and let alone six years, that's
a long time. So she's, you know, no longer there,

and she insisted that fans continue to support Genie Garth
and the new co host Amy Sugarman, who called the
show I mean and Tory calls the show amazing. Still
says it's an amazing show and wants people to keep listening.
But insiders deny there's any dramatic falling out, but rumors
of tension between longtime friends continues to swirl. So that

Just like old times there was there was rumors that

I hate on this because it's too delicious. What is
going on? I told it's all about money that when Tory,
Tory's always been struggling, I'm not quite sure. It's just
odd he's considering family money. Although she didn't get any
of the dad's money, I think that went to the
mom Canada, and she wasn't really in the will, but
she did. She was on a hit show for many years,
and most people can just live on that. So she's

always had money issues. So I was told she thought
this would turn her into Joe Rogan. She was expecting
eighty ninety one hundred. Like you know, when you hear people.
I read this week a list of the top five
podcasters and they're earning fifty sixty million. YEA, that doesn't
happen you are you? Cory and I are not on
a yacht in the south of France now, And so
most podcasters earn very little, if anything. In fact, a

lot of podcasters do it for the love of doing this,
and so that was not Tory. Tory wanted to be
very wealthy. She's doing the work and she wants the money.
And Tory considers this an enormous amount of work. Now,
anybody who's had a career like you, Corey or me,
this is the highlight of my day. Talking for twenty

minutes each day is not that difficult. I've got much
harder things to do. But I don't know if that's
the truth with Tory. And so a lot of people
who are entitled, they sit down in front of a
microphone talk for half an hour and then expect a
million dollars and it just doesn't work that way. Lots
of celebrities who have tried to podcast often fail because

they just think they're worth more than they really are,
and so I'm told, And it's often the case, isn't it.
Money is the issue when friends work together, even when
frenemies work together. If they both would get in a
big fat check tour, it would still beyond that.

hated to show up every day apparently, but she showed

is a magnificent hotel. I've never stayed there, but I
had tea there once with a fancy friend of mine.
And it's one of those old school British country houses.
It's in the middle of acres and acres of fields

postcard of what you think Britain is, like, take a
picture of this hotel that is just perfect. So the

staff and the guests were banned from using their cell
phones to ensure no video leaked. It didn't, so that's
a good thing. I mean, we did get leaks out

and Zandiaz, but it's much smaller. When you invite a

but I think there's only like fifteen, maybe twenty people.

now we even have a venue, a beautiful stately home

was with Justin Timberlake. Yeah, yeah, the most beautiful couple
in the world. We rooted for them. Now we're finding
out something a bit shady about Justin. How you dumped it?

Yeah, well it was not the first time we've heard
that he was sort of like, not the nicest gentleman
when it comes to women. So more than two decades later,
of course, after one of the most heartbroaken moments in
pop music romances, music video director Chris Applebaum has revealed
that Britney Spears received a text from Justin Timberlake and
it just said it just said it's over.

This happened during the filming of her over Protected video

been pushed to be better and it did get better.

Yes, well, Tory's spelling is in the news, and I
actually love Tory spelling. She's someone who've always just thought
it was a really interesting Hollywood character. But she is
finally addressing her sudden departure from the nine O two
to one o MG podcast, but don't expect all the
answers just yet. So during an Instagram live with her
former Beverly Hills nine O two one oh co star
(08:39):
Brian Austin Green, she admitted that she is not ready
to quote speak my truth, and she's saying that she
wants time to reflect before explaining why she walked away
after nearly six years. Now, I had no idea there
was there was a nine O two one o MG podcast,
but it sounds fabulous and let alone six years, that's
a long time. So she's, you know, no longer there,
(09:02):
and she insisted that fans continue to support Genie Garth
and the new co host Amy Sugarman, who called the
show I mean and Tory calls the show amazing. Still
says it's an amazing show and wants people to keep listening.
But insiders deny there's any dramatic falling out, but rumors
of tension between longtime friends continues to swirl. So that
(09:23):
would be Genie Garth.
Speaker 1 (09:24):
Of course and Tory.
Speaker 2 (09:25):
Just like old times there was there was rumors that
even on the TV show nine O two one oh,
those two started to have rivalry as Jeanie Garth became
more kind of famous and Tory, who was like the
daughter of Aaron Spelling, the one who was supposed to
be the breakout star, was not really delivering. So I
don't know, what do you think happened here?
Speaker 1 (09:44):
I hate on this because it's too delicious. What is
going on? I told it's all about money that when Tory,
Tory's always been struggling, I'm not quite sure. It's just
odd he's considering family money. Although she didn't get any
of the dad's money, I think that went to the
mom Canada, and she wasn't really in the will, but
she did. She was on a hit show for many years,
and most people can just live on that. So she's
(10:05):
always had money issues. So I was told she thought
this would turn her into Joe Rogan. She was expecting
eighty ninety one hundred. Like you know, when you hear people.
I read this week a list of the top five
podcasters and they're earning fifty sixty million. YEA, that doesn't
happen you are you? Cory and I are not on
a yacht in the south of France now, And so
most podcasters earn very little, if anything. In fact, a
(10:28):
lot of podcasters do it for the love of doing this,
and so that was not Tory. Tory wanted to be
very wealthy. She's doing the work and she wants the money.
And Tory considers this an enormous amount of work. Now,
anybody who's had a career like you, Corey or me,
this is the highlight of my day. Talking for twenty
(10:48):
minutes each day is not that difficult. I've got much
harder things to do. But I don't know if that's
the truth with Tory. And so a lot of people
who are entitled, they sit down in front of a
microphone talk for half an hour and then expect a
million dollars and it just doesn't work that way. Lots
of celebrities who have tried to podcast often fail because
(11:09):
they just think they're worth more than they really are,
and so I'm told, And it's often the case, isn't it.
Money is the issue when friends work together, even when
frenemies work together. If they both would get in a
big fat check tour, it would still beyond that.
Speaker 2 (11:28):
Like Sex and the City, you know, Kim ConTroll. She
hated to show up every day apparently, but she showed
up to get that check, Get that.
Speaker 1 (11:36):
Check, Get that check. Ak Moving along, Sandaya and Tom
Holland celebrated their secret wedding and a private castle in
the UK. This is so cute, so they reportedly hosted
a wedding reception for family and close friends at beaver
Brook Hotel in Surrey, England. It looks like a stately home.
It looks like Doubton Abbey. I've actually been there. It
(11:59):
is a magnificent hotel. I've never stayed there, but I
had tea there once with a fancy friend of mine.
And it's one of those old school British country houses.
It's in the middle of acres and acres of fields
and worries and roaming grass. If ever you want a
postcard of what you think Britain is, like, take a
picture of this hotel that is just perfect. So the
(12:20):
staff and the guests were banned from using their cell
phones to ensure no video leaked. It didn't, so that's
a good thing. I mean, we did get leaks out
of Taylor swiftsword, and we've got none out of Tom
and Zandiaz, but it's much smaller. When you invite a
thousand people, one fool is going to break the rules,
but I think there's only like fifteen, maybe twenty people.
I love that it is finally confirmed. Her style is
(12:43):
broke the news. First I was told that it was
all planned. Law did it, but he wouldn't have done
it without her permission. He's not going to lose his
no try and and he loves Sorr, He genuinely loves her.
I think they decided like if Law leaked it, then
it would be funny, and then it gets out without
them confirming it. So yes, they did get married. And
now we even have a venue, a beautiful stately home
(13:04):
which is a hotel in Britain. Okay, moving along, This
is some really interesting dish. Britney Spears. Remember when she
was with Justin Timberlake. Yeah, yeah, the most beautiful couple
in the world. We rooted for them. Now we're finding
out something a bit shady about Justin. How you dumped it?
What am I talking?
Speaker 2 (13:21):
Yeah, well it was not the first time we've heard
that he was sort of like, not the nicest gentleman
when it comes to women. So more than two decades later,
of course, after one of the most heartbroaken moments in
pop music romances, music video director Chris Applebaum has revealed
that Britney Spears received a text from Justin Timberlake and
it just said it just said it's over.
Speaker 1 (13:43):
Now.
Speaker 2 (13:44):
This happened during the filming of her over Protected video
in twenty oh two. So two thousand and two, she's
making her video and she's like, thinks everything is fine
in her relationship and Justin just out of the blue
texts her it's over. So she retreats to her trailer.
She's in tears, she's crying, and eventually she does return
to the set after the director Applebaum encouraged her to

channel all that heartbreak into the performance. Of course, he
was like, girl, I gotta get this video done.
Speaker 1 (14:11):
I could care less about your foolishness. Yes, I always
say anything to get her that set.
Speaker 2 (14:17):
But he did talk her out of the trailer and
got her back on set, and it's a great video.
Speaker 1 (14:20):
You know.
Speaker 2 (14:21):
It went on to do for Cell Records. But years later,
Brittany confirmed in her memoir that you know, Timberlake had
ended their three year relationship just with these two words.
Speaker 1 (14:29):
It's over awful.
Speaker 2 (14:32):
Yeah, but you know you and I talked before about
getting dumped like in awkward ways, and I got dumped
by voicemail. So it happens to the best of us. Honey,
voicemail back in the answering machine.
Speaker 1 (14:43):
The most humiliated time that I was dumped as at
University of Edinburgh. Yeah, and I said to this guy,
I saw this guy ghosted me. And this was before
self ghost was really aggressive ghost for me to notice.
And I talked up to him. My eyes strutched over
like a peacock and I said, how dare you dumped me?
(15:04):
And I said dump you. I didn't know we were
dating a oh my gosh. Oh. My friends laughed in
my face. That's bad there. We didn't even don't mix.
It didn't know we were together. Wow, very rude. I
remember his name too. We should get we should we
(15:27):
should call him up in Edinburgh, go and ask him
to explain himself. Okay, we're gonna take it quick, quick bake.

Although I'm still crying from Rob's story earlier, I'm not
a teary eye anyway. But Angelina Jolie's brother James Haven
comes out as gay. He says, I'm tired of dimming
my light. Her brother James Now he's finally just saying.
He's openly admitting it after years of hiding himself and
during her life appearance on ex wife romy M Bellie's Substack,

Haven revealed that he shared his truth after the pair
reconnected following their split. Now reading a very deeply personal letter,
he said he was tired of dimming my light and
wanted to embrace his authentic self. He is, of course
the son of John Voight as well, and he described
the moment as one of the most freeing and accepting moments,
with Embelli offering her support and for Haven, this wasn't
about headlines, he says, it was about finally just telling

his own story. So I commend him on his coming
out and living his most authentic self.
Speaker 1 (16:50):
Yeah, that he looks just like Angelina. That's what's so
interesting about the story is you look at their relationship
together and how unconventional they are, how they seem to
march to the beat of their own drum, which some
people have said is creepy. I think it's sort of charming.
But even somebody who was that cool, even somebody who
(17:11):
has a sister who's Angelina Jolie, one of the coolest
people in the world, had trouble coming out. It's really
not easy. Cory's You've come out the closet. I've come
out the closet. We've had friends that have done this.
I hope it's getting easier for younger generations to do it,
but never ever think that it's just an easy thing.
To do, even when you were surrounded by people like
(17:32):
Angelina Jo Lee. A lot of people live lives that
are not true. I'm so happy for him. Hey, welcome
to the club, my friend. And now Miss North Carolina
has been stripped of her title allegedly using a racist slur.
(17:53):
I did not even know these pageants were still on,
but Miss North Carolina has been kicked out of the
of her title. The runner up has now got the award.
We're not going to eat some of the hateful things
she said, but they're are pretty awful, racist, homophobic, transphobic.
So the boxes that she ticked, every one of the boxes.

And was so stupid to think she could say this
stuff and then nobody would find out. As our friend
Wendy Williams used to say, say it like you mean it,
even if it's ugly, you said it, you meant it,
and now there is a consequence for it, and naughtyus
of the day. Let's an with a moment of the
(18:36):
fastest way to grow is to become friends with people
who think bigger than you. It's hard to do because
it can be challenging, but the people around you they
shape who you are. So if you're Cirtle thinks small,
You're going to shrink. Your dreams are gonna shrink. If
you seek people who think big, who ask great questions,
(18:57):
who inspire bigger action than your life is going to expand.
So start new conversations, introduce yourself, be curious, listen more
when people speak. That's the challenge for me to shut
up and to listen, because every meaningful opportunity begins with
a conversation. Yes, and every conversation has the power to
expand your life. So once again, surround yourself with people
(19:23):
who think big, not small. I've always liked really interesting people.
Even at school, I wasn't the leader of my gang.
I was the bottom of the totem pole in a
much smarter gang. I always punched up and that has
made me, I think, successful today. So if you want
(19:45):
to expand your life, and you might not want to,
I get it. It's very easy to be comfortable. In fact,
it's sometimes the best decision. You have to make that decision,
but it takes a little bit of courage to hang
out with people who challenge you. I've got this new
project I'm working on, and boy, my ego has been
hurt already in just a couple of days because I've
been pushed to be better and it did get better.
(20:06):
So I tipped my hats to these people. But it
has been a challenger. I've had to find a little
bit of courage. You can find that courage too. Hey,
