Speaker 1 (00:09):
Ye sure, it's time Hell and Lower. Hello, Welcome to
the Naughty but Nice Show. I'm your host, Rob Shooter,
and it is Thursday, which means our dear friend Mark
Looper joins us. Hey, Loopy, are you there?

Speaker 2 (00:26):
Luis?

Speaker 1 (00:27):
You make me smile. Mark. We've become such good friends
over the years. We were always friendly, and then we
started doing the show together. I think the turning point
was when you started to work at Okay Magazine.

Speaker 3 (00:38):
It was, you know, you helped me get into the
world of magazines, which I'll always appreciate. And yeah, we've
become great friends. And doing this every week is a
lot of fun.

Speaker 1 (00:47):
I like it. I look forward to I love the naughties.
Don't get me wrong, noughties. I love doing this show
every day. But I love seeing you on a Thursday too.
I just it makes me sort of a bit giddy.
I was up this morning and I was going over
the stories and then I was like, oh, I can't
wait to talk about it. I can see what that
little devil thinks. You make me nicer.

Speaker 3 (01:06):
I mean you are listen, you have a naughty side,
but I like to see your nice side as well.

Speaker 1 (01:11):
The little secret here I can tell it because we're
all friends. I think you might be naughtier than me,
but you're more restrained than you can keep it in
where I just can't.

Speaker 2 (01:23):
You can't help yourself.

Speaker 3 (01:24):
But I am a bit more discreet.

Speaker 1 (01:26):
You're more discreet. You're more discreet. If there was a
naughty piece of gossip on the table, let's say a cupcake,
I would jump right in. I couldn't resist it. I'd
be there for like two seconds. You could sit there
for four hours and not touch that cake.

Speaker 3 (01:39):
Which is why that makes me laugh. You are it's
just you are who you are, and I just look.

Speaker 1 (01:43):
I can't help it. I can't have it. People are like, oh,
don't say that, Robert, don't poke them out. You know,
it's the truth. It's always the truth. Like we have
friends and people we work with on TV who are
real chopon is and you can just be very cool
about it. You can turn the other the cheek. I
can't help myself. I'm like that fool, doesn't know what
they're talking about.

Speaker 2 (02:01):
It's so good, it's so good.

Speaker 1 (02:03):
Okay, let's jump in show. What time is it? My phones?
It is tea time big story at the top of show,
this really is a big story. So Taylor Swift and
even Hugh Jackman look like they're going to be subpoenas
maybe this week or next in the Justin bell Donie
and Blake Lively lawsuits. The sources are telling me the
two A listers are going to be formally supoenaed very
very soon in the explosive war between Blake and Justin

(02:25):
bell Doni. It could happen at any moment. Now. Supinas
are really really important here because when you get a subpoena,
you're not talking to a member of the press, You're
not gossiping with a friend. This is illegal documents. You've
got to tell the truth. And if they're told to
hand over their cell phone records, their text records, they

(02:46):
have to do it. Mark They could potentially go to
jail themselves if they ignore a subpoena. So they're going
to get a subpoena and everything is going to come out.
Every naughty little joke, every sassy little email, and we
all do it. If I went through your phone, I
know right now there'd be a few things on there
that we're a little bit sensitive. I make naughty jokes

(03:09):
sometimes that isn't who I am necessarily, but we've all
fell into little silly tricks, and those jokes out of
context can really hurt a person's reputation. So Taylor is
really not happy about this. This is a mess. She's
not a messy person. Neither's Hugh Jackman. If the truth
be told, she is not really as intimate in this story.

(03:31):
So I don't think we're going to find out a
lot from Hugh. But Taylor and Blake were bests. It's
like you and me gossip in Mark. We've sent each
other naughty pictures of celebrities. I mean we have that
if our phones were handed over and the authorities they
could say, oh, look at these two perverts get naked

(03:52):
where we're looking at celebrities. I found a naked picture
of Ray Five's recently, and the first person I sent
it to Mark was you. Yes here. I do understand
Taylor being upset. This is such a mess, and now
she's gonna get dragged into it, and this is just
not her jam. She doesn't like messy. Her whole life

(04:12):
is actually quite richid she is a superstar because she
doesn't play this game. It's messy, it's naughty, and now
she's involved in it. I feel for.

Speaker 3 (04:22):
Taylor, you know, I feel for her too, and I
agree she's not a messy person. And this is where
things get messy. And I truly thought they would have
resolved this case, it would have settled before it got
to this point, because I think this is kind of
the big game time moment. This could change everything, and
not just for a blake, but it could really reveal
things about Taylor that she doesn't want to be revealed.

(04:42):
And so, you know, we look at Taylor like girl
power and female empowerment and you know what she stands
for it and this potentially, you know, we don't know
what her involvement is, but if it shows some things
that show that she's maybe not as nice as we thought,
or maybe she was more involved in this than we realized,
it could really damage her reputation in her bil to
you know, continue on or whether she has. And so

(05:02):
if I wear Taylor, I would just be pissed altogether.
Why am I involved in this? Why are you dragging
into this? You should have settled this. This is so messy.
I would imagine this is going to really change their
friendship too, Like I can't. I don't think we'll ever
be the same.

Speaker 1 (05:15):
Well, it isn't. These two are not as close as
they used to be. We've seen no support on social media.
We've not seen them go to the corner store together,
that restaurant they love to go to, and downtown. I
would go so far. And I spoke to some Taylor
friends and they didn't know that this was the case.
They just didn't know the answer. But I asked, would
Blake just settle this to help her friends? At this point,

(05:38):
it's not about Blake. It's bigger than Blake. You're dragging
in other people, and isn't it now worth settling just
to protect Taylor, to protect you, to protect all these
other people that are not really involved in this. I
would say to Blake, you've got to fix this. I
don't want to be involved in this. You have got
to fix this. And if winning is worth dragging me

(06:02):
through the mud, then you're not really winning anything at all,
because you're going to lose a really good friend. It
feels now as if these two camps, Justin and Blake,
are really dug in and you can get like that,
can't you. I've done this with people. I fell out
with Mark. I've got so angry and so dug in
that I just can't let go. And when I finally realize,

(06:22):
I can just end this. I don't have to be
at war with anybody. They don't have to like me.
They probably won't, but I don't have to be at war.
And that's what Blake is here. I don't think Blake
and Justin will ever be friends. But Blake was the
first one that initiated legal action, and that's what blew
this up. Blake, if you're listening a lower, lower, low,

(06:43):
I think it's worth thinking about when other people are
hurt as clatteral damage, is it still worth it? Is
this worth it? If I was in a lawsuit market
it was going to destroy you or hurt you in
the process, why wouldn't I settle that? Why wouldn't I
just make this go away?

Speaker 3 (07:00):
Well, you know, I suspect that's a speculation, but I
suspect that Ryan Reynolds was really the master behind that's
remind behind the whole thing. And I think he's more involved,
more evil than we realize, and I think that he
You know, these people are less and smart, these celebrities
who think they're just like above it all. No, it's like,
once you involve the law, and once you involve high
powered attorneys like you know, Justin Baldoni has, they are

(07:23):
not going to just like fall back and to come
to what you want.

Speaker 2 (07:26):
They're going to fight this. And I think they are.

Speaker 3 (07:29):
So deep in this now that if they do settle,
they're gonna have to admit guilt, and it's gonna be
really guilt.

Speaker 2 (07:34):
It's not gonna envolve for them.

Speaker 3 (07:35):
It's just sad.

Speaker 1 (07:35):
It's not yeah either way. Now it's just so so ugly.
You get like that sometimes, don't you, With little wars
in your own life, you get to the point of
no return. I have a family member at the moment
who's in a little bit of a fight, not with me,
but with another family member, and I keep telling her
to put down the sword. I was like, just stop this,
Like you've dug yourself into such a hole it can

(07:57):
just then just stop digging, stop digging. People can't do it. Mark,
It's really really hard to just put down the swords.
And I think you're right here. There's an arrogance of
celebrity that Blake has that Ryan certainly has. We know
stories about Ryan. Ryan thinks he's smarter than anybody in
the room, and often he is, but this time he

(08:19):
ain't smarter than the law, which brings us to our
whole question of the day. Taylor Swift could be Supena
this week or next in the Blake Lively legal drama.
Will these two ever be friends again? What do you think? Hey?
Go vote on our Twitter page at Naughty Nice Rob.
A facebook page is Nordy gofub Michella to check back

(08:40):
down mat Rauta. Here your results? Hey, Loopy? What are
you working on?

Speaker 2 (08:44):
All right?

Speaker 3 (08:44):
So Lizzo is shutting down o zeppik rumors. She revealed
that she dropped sixteen percent of her body for Wow,
the old fashioned man.

Speaker 2 (08:51):
I know, it's very impressive.

Speaker 3 (08:52):
So lizob was just done with the ozempic chatter and
she's breaking down exactly how she achieved this amazing transformation,
as you say. Grammy winning singer to the Instagram Lab
this week to share the specifics of her health journey. Really,
she asked sixteen percent of her body fat and drops
her B and I over ten percent, all.

Speaker 2 (09:09):
Without win loss drugs.

Speaker 3 (09:11):
She said, counting calories is the only thing that has worked.
I had to stop kidding myself, Rob. She went on
to say that she reached her week lass goal in
January and has kept it off with changes to her routine,
including ditching sugaren morning drinks and choosing a savory breakfast.

Speaker 1 (09:26):
What do you think, m I want everybody to find
their own happiness and their own solution here. I don't
want anyone to be fat chained. And this is the
tricky part for Liza with me, is that she spent
so long being really happy about who she was, and
now a question was that ever really true? Adele did
the same thing too, Remember with Dell, was like, I'm
never going to change, I'm never going to go Hollywood,

(09:46):
I'm never going to get skinny Minnie, and then boom
she does also too. I think it's only fair to
be a little skeptical here. I'm not calling her a liar,
but I spoke to some of her friends and they said,
it's just a coincidence that while all these weight loss
drugs were release, that's the time that she lost the weight, Like,
she didn't do this five years ago before the drugs,
And so I want to believe her. We should believe

(10:07):
what people say here. We shouldn't doubt their own process.
I think Lizzo has to be careful though, because if
in any way it comes across like she's looking down
at weight loss drugs are more importantly people who use them,
I think she's going to get in trouble. Oprah did
this a little bit. Oprah Lost all the Weight wasn't
really trueful At first, she didn't tell us really why,
and then eventually, after being prodded a little bit, she

(10:29):
did admit that she's using weight loss drugs. But then
Oprah was smart enough to say, I feel terrible because
I've shamed people. And I used to think people that
used weight lost drugs were cheating, were lazy, and that's
not true. This is a medical condition and some people
really really need this help, need need these drugs. I

(10:49):
don't look down on it. If you have to take
a pill each day or an injection to get to
your goals, to make your healthier, to make you happier,
take the pill. I have a cup of coffee every morning, Mark,
I love it. It's the same time a bill. Why
not if you need to inject some once a week.
I've got no judgment on this, I feel Mark, and
I might be wrong here, but I feel this is
a little bit on that judgy line. She's been a

(11:11):
little little she hasn't quite said it, but I don't
know about this what are you?

Speaker 3 (11:15):
It confuses me because I am a Lizzo fan. I've
gone to her concert. I like her a lot.

Speaker 2 (11:19):
She's really talented. You know, she built this whole idea.

Speaker 3 (11:23):
Of herself on body positivity and I am who I
am and blah blah blah, and you know, listen, I
don't really care what she did. The thing is, she
was like, this is life or death. She was very heavy,
and you know, it's very possible that she could have
had some serious health of complications if she didn't lose
the weight.

Speaker 2 (11:38):
So I think now it's like, well, who are you now?

Speaker 3 (11:41):
And I'd rather than be judging about it, like I
would like her to be open, you know, in order
that we understand who she is and why it's important
to lose the weight.

Speaker 1 (11:49):
Yeah, I think she owes us an explanation, and she
hasn't given us one yet. For somebody who's made so
much of their life a bad body image, I think
so suddenly just changed. Cool. It doesn't quite sit well.
Although I'm happy that she's healthy and I'm certainly not
judging that. Okay, moving along. Andy Cohen broke my heart.
He was talking about his kid on the radio and

(12:09):
he said that he was in the park with his
little son Ben. He has two children, Ben and Lucy,
and he said, I just love these kids so much.
And then he was describing a real beautiful, quiet exchange
that most people would argue is a private exchangement, and
Ideas told the whole world about it. And he was
in the playground with his kid, and he looked over

(12:30):
there and saw some older kids and he was like,
one day you're going to be older and you're not
going to want to hang out with me. And Ben said,
oh no, Daddy, I don't want to do that. I
want to take a pill so I can come back
and be little, so I can always be with you.
Oh it's just so sweet. Now, let's be honest. Some
cynics out there are saying and is in a really

(12:52):
ugly lawsuit at the moment with Liam McSweeney, one of
the former Housewives. And he does have a reputation of
being a little bit of a party a little bit
of a bad boy, and I think now emphasizing the
daddy aspect of his life, the caring parent. I think
that's a good look for him. We're allowed to transition.

(13:13):
The person I am today is not the person I
was when I was in my twenties, Mark, and you
are allowed to grow up, to change. And I do
think this is true. We live in New York, Mark,
we know a lot of people in New York. Ten
to fifteen years ago, I would get text all the
time that Andy was a little boozy boozy, touchy feely
in the boom boom room or wherever he else he was.

(13:35):
I've not got those texts in the least last five years.
I think Andy Nod is less party Andy, and will
parent Andy. What do you think?

Speaker 2 (13:44):
Yeah?

Speaker 3 (13:44):
And I think you have to give people's space to
evolve and to row. And I think this is actually
a very cute story. And I'm glad he shared it
because he needs to lean into the daddy narrative because
some of those behavior, as you mentioned, was really bad
and that's bad and you have to own that too.

Speaker 2 (13:59):
You are or you are and you did those things. Andy.

Speaker 3 (14:01):
But yes, okay, Well, we like the side of you too.

Speaker 1 (14:04):
I like this side of you too. I like the
bad side too. I do oh, I love it. Maybe giggle.
Some of the texts I used to get and sometimes
that had photographs of Andy a little, a little sloppy,
the boo boo boo ah, I is the love making up.
I have three late night sources. I don't go out
that late anymore. I used to be able to go
out pretty late and see this stuff myself. Now I'm

(14:25):
in bed, fully busterized by ten o'clock. Ye fast asleep,
snoring away, really big of the butterflies. But when I
wake up in the morning by some of my sources
are clearly just going to bed at like six seven am,
and they send some notes that make me giggle. Okay,
quickly before we get a break. Ben Affleck is talking
about his kids and why they need to learn the

(14:47):
value of money. I think this is a good thing.
What's he got to say?

Speaker 2 (14:50):
That's right?

Speaker 3 (14:50):
So the oscro winning down of three is making headlines
for taking a firm stand on parenting and privilege, assisting
his children need to earn their way through classic minimum
age jobs. They want anything extravagant, including now it's mious
six thousand dollars sneakers. His kid begged for it, he said,
he wanted these sneakers and I was.

Speaker 2 (15:08):
Like, those sneakers are six thousand dollars. What are you
talking about?

Speaker 3 (15:11):
And his son said, well, he had the money, and
he said, no, you don't.

Speaker 2 (15:15):
He's like, you're broke.

Speaker 3 (15:16):
I have the money.

Speaker 1 (15:18):
Rob.

Speaker 3 (15:18):
I think it's you know, this is is very cute,
but the reality is these kids grew up in supreme
privilege and they have a lot of well I don't
think they need six thousand dollars you know, sneakers, But
the reality is are not going to the mall to
get a job, you know.

Speaker 1 (15:30):
I mean, yeah, I have a story this morning on
my sub stack that I just posted. A friend of
mine knows Ben and the family pretty well, and they're like, Rob,
these kids live like royalty. It's a little uh untruthful
for Bed to be saying that they have to work
at McDonald's and they have to save their pennies when
they live in a ten million dollars has like this

(15:53):
is generation's family. Well for so, I like the fact
that he's trying to teach his kids, but at the
same time he should acknowledge that they already started a
place that most of us will never ever reach. Okay,
We're going to take a quick break and we will
be right back. Welcome back to me the naughty but
nic Show Mark. Today's show is flying Bia, isn't it?

(16:14):
Only got five minutes left? Hey, let's get to the polls.
Last show, we talked about Beyonce undergoing testing after her
mom Tina Knowles cancer scare. Is she making the right choice?
Ninety seven percent said yes, almost one hundred percent here,
I think so this stuff is in your DNA. This

(16:35):
is the stuff that runs in family. If you have
a parent, a sibling, a family member who has a
cancer diagnosis. I think it's a good idea that you
get tested. Okay, don't forget to vote on today's poll.
Go to a page at Naughty Nice rob Our facebook
page is Naughty Gossip and be sure to check out tomorrow.
I hear your results are now it's time for Nicest

(17:00):
of the Day.

Speaker 2 (17:03):
Okay.

Speaker 3 (17:04):
So, Kate Middleton and Prince William work their youngest child's
birthday with an adorable Woldern portrait of the young royal
beaming proudly as he shows up his missing front.

Speaker 1 (17:14):
I love it. I love it.

Speaker 3 (17:16):
Oh my god, it's so cute. So sources were telling
our podcast Rob that the image wasn't chosen at Rannam,
but it was hand picked by the Princess of Wales
herself for a very specific reason. They said, Katas chose
the picture deliberately. She wanted the world to see a
bit of the reality that their family isn't perfect all
the time. Her closed and losing their teeth is just
what makes the moment so real.

Speaker 1 (17:35):
Oh, I love that, be real about it. Remember, Kate
got really trashed for photoshopping a picture when she was
she did, and so she could have had somebody put
those teeth in or closed his mouth, or there must
have been a picture where his mouth wasn't so so
open and says no, she chose this and this is
just part of life. We all lose teeth. I think
it's just lovely and nice. Is the day now I

(17:57):
noticed the naughty, naughty, naughty. Lindsay Lohan's dad is back
in jail, sentenced to nine months in jail for probation.
It's an ugly story and involves an alleged attack on
his wife, Kate Loewen. We know her as Kate Major.
We've known her a long time. She used to work
in in the gossip business, and so now he is
in jail. The big picture here is poor Lindsay, Lindsay, Lindsay, Lindsay.

(18:21):
It's so messy, and Lindsay's trying so hard to get
her life together, and I feel bad for her. Okay,
let's end with a moment of rob a rob. Detachment
is power, Begging is not. Detachment is way better than
begging people to treat you right. When you beg for
love and respect and basic kindness, you're handing over your power.

(18:41):
You're saying, ah, shrink myself to stay in your world.
But when you detach from them, what you're saying is
I know my worth. I won't fight for a place
in someone's life who doesn't value me. So detachment, it's
not cold, Mark, It is not cold. It's clarity. You
don't have to chase what's meant for you, and you

(19:04):
definitely don't have to beg for what you deserve. Hey,
that is it for today. Thank you so much for
listening to the Naughty but My Show with our dear
friend mak Lupo. Hey, don't forget to subscribe. You know
where to do that and leave us a comment if
you can. They really do help and remember all together now,
if you're going to be naughty Mark, you've got to be.

(19:26):
Let me hear nice stick here everybody. It's start even
