Speaker 1 (00:00):
It's time for Nina's what's trending and Nina is out today,

(00:02):
so Victoria has your trending.

Speaker 2 (00:04):
Yes, I do.

Speaker 3 (00:05):
And Anne Hathaway just shared a Princess Diaries three update.

Speaker 4 (00:11):
I screaming, yeah, freaking out.

Speaker 3 (00:14):
I do.

Speaker 2 (00:15):
Okay, I know this is crazy. I'll tell you about
that in a second.

Speaker 3 (00:18):
But first, if you've ever been curious about how much
money the winner of the World Cup gets, well it
has been released and Spain will be getting fifty one
million dollars for winning the World Cup final.

Speaker 4 (00:31):
The country or the players, sorry.

Speaker 3 (00:35):
Questions, far question the country.

Speaker 1 (00:41):
I mean the money though in football, like the football
that the rest of the world knows is crazy. You
think NFL players and NBA players make a lot of money.
They make pennies compared to what international soccer players make.

Speaker 5 (00:52):
Yeah, just look at the viewership and the and the
followers on social media and stuff like that. Like some
of the players in the in the Thief of World Cup,
like one hundred and fifty one million followers on Instagram.

Speaker 4 (01:02):
It's pretty crazy.

Speaker 3 (01:04):
What Yeah, it says they both will be celebrating, so
I don't think that it doesn't really say Sorry.

Speaker 4 (01:11):
For asking questions.

Speaker 2 (01:12):
Now that was a great question because I'm like, I'm curious.

Speaker 4 (01:15):
I don't wonder if the players are getting that or
if it's the country.

Speaker 3 (01:18):
Do you think it's the players, because that'd be my
guest million.

Speaker 2 (01:23):
I only say the players because.

Speaker 3 (01:24):
I remember, I think when the women won the World Cup,
there was like the US woman won it. I don't
think there was nearly an ever like close to it,
which makes me think.

Speaker 2 (01:34):
It is the players.

Speaker 4 (01:35):
Right right, I'm asking chat right now because knows everything.

Speaker 3 (01:39):
Yeah, I don't think that. I feel like that would
have been a bigger thing.

Speaker 1 (01:45):
Here it goes, it says the fifty million does not
go directly to the players. FIFA pays it to the
Spanish Football Federation, which then decides how the money is
distributed according to pre arranged agreens coaching and staff. The
federation gets some of the money, so so they basically
split it up. They can't hear you, guys coached, So

(02:06):
you get this much the players, the top players will
get paid and then they'll put it into other programs
for their own soccer.

Speaker 2 (02:12):
Oh well, that's pretty good. It goes back, I mean
hopefully good.

Speaker 3 (02:14):
A chunk of it goes to the players and a
good portion of it goes to helping.

Speaker 1 (02:19):
Yeah, an investment in Spanish football.

Speaker 2 (02:21):
Yes, then that can bring up another World Cup road exactly.

Speaker 3 (02:26):
Ay And if you were curious as well, the stadium
was packed with celebs. I'm not sure if any of
you guys saw anyone, but had Julia Gardner, Lindsay Vaughn,
Winnie Harlow, Kevin Hart, John Ham, Gail King. I saw
Jay Z and Beyonce and I was very surprised. There
was Rihanna Asap, Rocky, Dwayne Wade, Gabrielle Union, a.

Speaker 2 (02:47):
Lot of people, so very star set event.

Speaker 3 (02:50):
What also happened this past weekend was The Odyssey, and
I am so sad I'm not gone to see it
yet because what's funny is leading up to it, so
many people were unimpressed and they thought it was gonna
be a flop, really because of the trailer that came
out and it wasn't meeting people's like expectations. But it
conquered two hundred and sixty four million dollars around the world,

(03:14):
the best ever for Christener for Nolan since the Dark
Knight Rises movie came out, but he shot it on
seventy millimeter Imax film. Yeah, and that's so cool to me.
But what's so sad is there's there's not a lot
of theaters who play that film in the US, like
I think Texas has two of them, and one of
them this past weekend had a show.

Speaker 1 (03:34):
Down, so there's not a lot of places you can
see it like it was originally intended for you to see.

Speaker 3 (03:39):
Yes, which really does suck, but he did still break
a few records, as in the biggest global opening for himself.
Matt Damon also it was his highest opening. It did
break Imax records because it was shot entirely in Imax,
and the film had the highest ever three day gross
at the London Imax Imax Theater, which it surpassed the

(04:02):
Star Wars last SHEDI I can't see Star Wars, but
so it's a pretty big deal and it is the
top live out live action opening weekend for twenty twenty six.

Speaker 4 (04:10):
I heard it's like three hours long, but I still
want to go see it.

Speaker 2 (04:13):
It looks so freaking cool. I want to see it's
so bad and.

Speaker 5 (04:16):
They're still showing it in seventy millimeters but just not
in the Imax screens.

Speaker 3 (04:20):
They still are showing it in imax screens. They're just
there's not a lot of them, right, which is kind
of sucks.

Speaker 5 (04:25):
Well, they're showing it in theaters that aren't I mess.
Oh yeah, sa also in seventy millimeters.

Speaker 1 (04:30):
Yes, text in four one, o six one. If you
saw the Odyssey, would you think of it?

Speaker 3 (04:34):
Ooh yes, because I'm also curious think and now what
everyone's been waiting for. And Hathaway's Princess Diary's three updates,
So there has been talked about the Princess Diary three
being in the works, and Hathaway just recently said an
interview that the first draft of the script had to
be scrapped, which is so sad because so they think

(04:56):
they had a story breakthrough but in they're movie in the
right direction, but it wasn't what they want. And I
do appreciate this because don't just make a third movie
just for the heck of it, because then it's not
gonna be good.

Speaker 2 (05:08):
It's what we've all been waiting for, and it's gonna
be Loki trash. But with the right script, it could
be really good.

Speaker 3 (05:13):
So I am very happy that she is trying trying
to make sure the script is right and they do
want to make it so it will be coming, just
it might take a little bit longer.

Speaker 2 (05:23):
So everyone calmed down. I know we're all freaking out.
It's okay, it's gonna come.

Speaker 1 (05:26):
I've seen the protests.

Speaker 3 (05:28):
Yeah, it's getting pretty rightly if I didn't freaking out,
But it's okay.

Speaker 2 (05:33):
You'll come at some point, just not home soon. And
that is what it was trending.
