Speaker 1 (00:07):
What's trending?

Speaker 3 (00:08):
McDonald's has been hit with a federal class action lawsuit
because of misleading marketing. I'll tell you exactly what that
means in just a second. But first, if you're prego
gonna have a baby this year and you're trying to
figure out a name, let me tell you about the
trends taking over for twenty twenty six. Now, they're not
specific names, they're just trends where people are finding inspiration.

(00:28):
Ancient civilizations are a place where inspiration is drawn. Show
Girl names, Thank you, Taylor Swift.

Speaker 1 (00:36):
Wait what show girl name?

Speaker 2 (00:37):
Yeah?

Speaker 3 (00:39):
Diamonds, sparkles, those are Mercedes.

Speaker 1 (00:43):
Is a different kind of show Oh okay, I'm sorry,
I'm sorry that could beat. I'm gonna ask Chad Gpt
right now. Famous showgirls?

Speaker 3 (00:53):
Yeah, I don't really know.

Speaker 1 (00:55):
I feel like Debbie is one ten famous show girls?

Speaker 3 (00:58):
What does that even mean? What is this show girl?
Like in Vegas? Like showgirls like you think of those
big feather are they less. Wait, is like a show girl.
It's like a dancer, Like yeah.

Speaker 4 (01:12):
Like a they stand in a row of like twenty
of them and they kick their legs up and do
a little dancing.

Speaker 3 (01:16):
Well that's like the rockets. But yeah, they do that
too showgirls.

Speaker 1 (01:19):
The most famous show girl of all time is named
Sally rand.

Speaker 2 (01:24):
Oh yeah, name Sally.

Speaker 3 (01:25):
Does it say what show she was in?

Speaker 1 (01:27):
Says she was famous for her feather fan and bubble
dances in the thirties and forties.

Speaker 3 (01:32):
Bubble bubble dance.

Speaker 1 (01:33):
Inies and forties, Sally Tempest Storm is another one, Tempest Ditavantis.

Speaker 3 (01:42):
Oh I know her. Yeah, okay, so there there you go.
That's your showgirls. Now come for last to your point, Victoria.

Speaker 2 (01:48):
What I'm saying the movie I watched with Christina Aguilera.

Speaker 3 (01:52):
That is yeah, it's called showgirl. Oh cool, there you go.

Speaker 1 (01:55):
So those show girl names, it's called interesting.

Speaker 3 (01:58):
Okay. Well, if you meet a baby, you know where
the name was inspired. Soulful names are also on the list,
and romanticy names.

Speaker 1 (02:06):
It's a soulful name.

Speaker 2 (02:09):
It is not helping.

Speaker 3 (02:11):
Romanticy as they're saying, is from different television shows and
novels like I'm just thinking if a baby Vecna pops
up somewhere like out of Noppen, Yeah, I feel like
it's going to happen to some stranger things. Little baby Vecna.
Speaking of stranger things. So the finale has been making
all kinds of money, no surprises, twenty five million dollars

(02:34):
in theaters if you happen to catch it there. Meanwhile
songs if you haven't seen it, guys.

Speaker 2 (02:39):
Like stranger things.

Speaker 3 (02:41):
I oh, I felt like I wanted more. They really
wrapped it up in a bow.

Speaker 2 (02:47):
Yeah, it was really nicely wrapped up.

Speaker 3 (02:49):
Yeah, so it was like nice. I didn't feel anything
though while watching it, did you?

Speaker 1 (02:53):
I thought it was a cool show, like I like
to show my One problem with a lot of that
show though, is like there's a lot of the urgent
emergency situations in that show, right, like something's got to
happen really quickly, But then they pause for like a
twenty minute monologue or like a twenty minute conversation about feelings.
It's like, hey man, the world's about to end. We

(03:14):
got thirty seconds before this galaxy crashes down onto ours.

Speaker 4 (03:18):
Can we not?

Speaker 1 (03:18):
Can we save the feelings for after they get in
such long conversation, you just.

Speaker 2 (03:23):
Sink, Hey, something happens. They got to get him out.

Speaker 3 (03:26):
Now. They did prioritize character development and like really getting
to know every character. Did you see that? So the
Duffer brothers who created The Stranger Things have been doing
different interviews and they were talking about how they planned
on killing Steve Harrington off in the first season, what
in the very first season, but they didn't because they
fell in love with Joe Kerey the actor, Joe the artist. Yeah, anyway,

(03:49):
so they kept him the whole time. So Steve Harrington
is really because of Joe.

Speaker 5 (03:52):
But also did y'all know that the they're turning it
into like a cinematic universe, kind of like the Marvel Universe.
They're making it like a Stranger Things universe with multiple shows,
like they have a timeline. They're going to bring out
multiple shows shows about it, not with the same characters.

Speaker 3 (04:07):
Tell me why I sat through all of the credits
at the end of the finale, like it was going
to be Marvel from Hidden type of I sat there.
I'm like, come on, give.

Speaker 2 (04:18):
It to me.

Speaker 4 (04:18):
If there's anybody listening in the car right now who's
never seen the episode, I am your people.

Speaker 3 (04:26):
Then when you meet maybe back now, you're not gonna
know where it came from. Okay. Lastly, McDonald's facing the
federal class action lawsuit because people are claiming that they've
been marketing the McRib falsely. They've been marketing at is
marketing it as a real pork rib.

Speaker 1 (04:43):
But that's what I've always said. I'm like, what mc
animal does that come from?

Speaker 3 (04:47):
But it actually has no rib in it. It is
made from restructured pork. I'm not going to go. Details
are in front of me if you really want to know,
but I.

Speaker 2 (04:59):
Don't know you do.

Speaker 1 (05:01):
I want to know what restructured pork is.

Speaker 3 (05:03):
Okay, restructured pork combines cuts from the shoulder, heart, tripe,
scalded stomach and none of that is rib. Me extra,
but what the stuff that There are sixteen legal claims,
including fraud, breach of warranty, breach of contract, and violations
of state consumer protection loss.

Speaker 2 (05:24):
Wait, when you eat a MiG, I've never had one
of these? When mac rib?

Speaker 4 (05:28):
Do you in?

Speaker 5 (05:29):
There?

Speaker 2 (05:30):
There's a bone inside a rib like you.

Speaker 1 (05:31):
Eat a shaped like the restructured bone.

Speaker 5 (05:36):
So how are you eat like when you guys eat
it is there not a bone question.

Speaker 1 (05:42):
So I don't think they've ever marketed it like as
I'll give McDonald's that. I don't think they've ever marketed
as like a real rib.

Speaker 3 (05:48):
I don't think so. They called it the micrib, which
you know you just take it.

Speaker 1 (05:51):
Yeah, like they've never said, hey, it's a bee rib
from an actual cow.

Speaker 4 (05:56):
And to be honest with you, I've been to like
different stores and they have the seem like imprinted.

Speaker 1 (06:01):
Yeah. I wish I was the judge on that class
action lost to god be Look if you saw something
that was about three inches long called the mick rib
and you thought it came from an actual animal, you
owe McDonald's more.

Speaker 3 (06:15):
Money because that's on you.

Speaker 2 (06:19):
Basically.

Speaker 3 (06:20):
Yeah, well that is what's trending
