Speaker 1 (00:00):
It's time for Nina's what's trending.

Speaker 2 (00:01):
Doctors around the world are sounding an alarm right now
because of a TikTok trend that is leaving kids burned sad.
So there's this type of snack that you can get
in Asia where it's called I'm probably pronouncing it wrong,
but it looks like tanglup. So what it is is
like a scare of fruit that's dipped in molten candy.

(00:22):
So when it comes out, it's nice and shiny and
like you take a bite of a grape, but it's
like crunchy and all that. But in order for you
to get the molten candy, you have to melt it
at about three hundred degrees, which is more than boiling.
And so what's happening are a lot of kids are
sticking them in the microwave and when it comes out,
because it's sticky, if it touches your skin, it stays
on your house. So now it's on your skin. So

(00:42):
these doctors around the world are trying to get the
message out because if it stays there, they've already had
to do multiple skin grafts to children, but are trying
to do this TikTok trend lead you to TikTok so.
I mean, some of these trends are extremely dangerous. They
are beautiful little skewers, and they're probably very tasty, But
I don't know unless you have like the actual little
pan that you're supposed to make that melten candy in,

(01:05):
I don't know if you should be.

Speaker 3 (01:05):
Doing it in a microwave. We teach people like, that's hot,
don't touch it. When I was a kid, I touched
the stove once. I don't touch hot things anymore. Yeah,
that's interesting, Brad, but I don't think it.

Speaker 2 (01:17):
But you're not used to getting something out of the
microwave that's going to burn you that hot.

Speaker 4 (01:21):
Have you never put anything in a microwave?

Speaker 5 (01:23):
True?

Speaker 6 (01:23):
I burn myself on a hot pocket, but exactly different.

Speaker 5 (01:29):
When I was a kid, I almost burned my room
down with icoproble alcohol, and then I learned to be
more careful with fire.

Speaker 2 (01:37):
From the book and jew Bowl Gang's exactly.

Speaker 4 (01:41):
What we're talking about.

Speaker 2 (01:42):
Jewel.

Speaker 5 (01:43):
Yeah, my car, the carpet in my room was all like,
you know, like melted from being and my mom would
walk into.

Speaker 1 (01:51):
My ROSI was like a spilled milk, what crusty or something.
I don't know. I didn't almost burn my room down purpose.

Speaker 4 (02:00):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (02:01):
I put icoprob alcohol in a bowl, and then I
want to see what happened when I lit it on
fire and things at it?

Speaker 6 (02:07):
Why and why would you want to know that?

Speaker 4 (02:09):
I was just curious? Why would you not go outside?

Speaker 5 (02:11):
It happens is the alcohol is on fire, that you
throw it at the bowl and then stuff splashes everywhere,
and then the bowl tips over and your carpet starts
to catch on fire, and then sometimes it gets on
the blinds too.

Speaker 2 (02:21):
You you know what I just learned about this story.
It's so interesting. People don't change. She all still has
fire throwers. It's true, dude, pyroemuch. Okay, Well, speaking of trends,
this one isn't painful. This one is irritating, according to

(02:43):
a new list of the most irritating trends of twenty
twenty four. Because that's starting already in August. But anyway,
it's TSA trays that are staged. Apparently there's a place
for influencers to make their way through TSA lines and
when they get to those little trasy you got to
put your stuff in they make it look all pretty
and oh if you're time to aesthetically place all of

(03:03):
their things so they can get a cute shot of
the security stuff going through.

Speaker 6 (03:08):
Oh wait, really, that's actually hilarious.

Speaker 1 (03:10):
I have for that.

Speaker 2 (03:11):
All I'm trying to do is get through that line.
That's why I got TSA pree and we out.

Speaker 4 (03:15):
Listen. The aesthetic thing is over. Don't worry about it.
Do what I do.

Speaker 7 (03:18):
Turn your camera on your phone on, put it in
the tray, run it through security.

Speaker 4 (03:23):
Coolest video you ever get. That's next time you travel.
Do it. It's fun.

Speaker 5 (03:28):
Okay, that is there's some things that don't need to
be lavish. Right you're traveling. Everybody knows what traveling looks like.
They're not like, wow, look at they're so special, like
the O their TSA bin is like so perfect.

Speaker 6 (03:41):
Okay, last night it wasn't the TSA bin.

Speaker 2 (03:44):
But there is this girl that posted last night on
her story and she was saying first class with all
of her stuff, and her caption was, I'm not like
the other girls.

Speaker 4 (03:51):
Yes you are.

Speaker 5 (03:52):
Oh my gosh, yes you are. Yes three upgrade just
like the rest of the room. You're so just like
the other side and you.

Speaker 7 (03:59):
Put all your stuff out so everyone can see your
material things.

Speaker 4 (04:02):
It's just like the rest of the Yeah, have.

Speaker 2 (04:05):
You ever had an awful greedy landlord? Or maybe you
are an awful greedy landlord, because we just found one
that's worse than you. There is an apartment complex that
build a woman fifteen thousand dollars. This is trending because
the story's so messed up for breaking her lease. But
she broke her lease because she died, what she was
ninety one years old, and so the management was like, yeah, sorry,

(04:27):
you broke your lease. And not only that, they're finding
her extra for having to move out early.

Speaker 6 (04:32):
Like, so you broke the lease, you.

Speaker 2 (04:34):
Had to move out early, and they're finding all kinds
of money to the family. Oh. The family's like, yo,
bro what that was our mom? We loved her, she's gone.
Are you crazy?

Speaker 3 (04:43):
Yeah?

Speaker 6 (04:43):
Yeah, like, oh, well, it says in the fine print
that that's.

Speaker 1 (04:46):
Just how it is.

Speaker 4 (04:47):
She signed a contract, not why did they have to
pay it or.

Speaker 2 (04:51):
That is it gonna Well, the lawyer that is representing
the family is like, this is kind of unheard of.
I don't think that there's really any judge or court
that's going to be like, Okay, you compared it to
a turn up. He's like, you can't get blood from
a turn up, just like you can't get money from
somebody who's not alive.

Speaker 7 (05:05):
Yeah, opposing point, she signed a contract, so the money
is due to these people. But the other thing is,
you know, when someone dies, the government charges you taxes
for them.

Speaker 8 (05:14):
Wait, why tax Yeah, because they still have to pay taxes.
So it doesn't matter whether you die or not, you
still have to pay taxes. And the famous charge to that.
But nobody's doing the federal government. I bet you this
landlord is gonna win. I think it's ridiculous. The family
has to be on the hook for anybody's debt. Like
if your parent or passes away or anybody that you're
related to, you shouldn't have be on the hook for
their debt.

Speaker 4 (05:34):
Yeah, and that's how it is.

Speaker 6 (05:36):
You are, I know you are for your spouse, but like.

Speaker 7 (05:38):
Especially if they leave it to you, they can leave
you their debt, which is gonna be my move.

Speaker 5 (05:43):
Oh my god, I'm going to go into so much debt.
I'll give it to all you guys. Gavvy are social
media produced over there taking her head. I cannot wait
to give you my dad.

Speaker 6 (06:00):
We are not related.

Speaker 4 (06:01):
You cannot do that whoever you want. I know the
other thing that Jubbil would do, because it's a prank.

Speaker 7 (06:08):
He would just he would have like a scavenger hunt
and built so all the money to cover the.

Speaker 4 (06:11):
Dead is sitting somewhere, but you have to find it.

Speaker 6 (06:14):
Okay, that would be fun though.

Speaker 4 (06:17):
Yeah, yeah, it's good social content.

Speaker 2 (06:19):
And then I would be like, I never found it.
It's an envelope in my hands. Okay. Well, speaking of money,
kind of a new fun way that you can make
some money. This is a job title I've never heard
of before, but it exists, and it's pro roller coaster writer.
There's a pro roller coaster writer who is terrified of height,

(06:41):
so he decided to become a pro to make money.
So he makes six figures, no problem, more than six
figures a year, and he has a YouTube page called
Lift Hills and Thrills. I thought of you, Victoria. That's
why I brought this up, because you're always like, that's
not a roller coaster, but yeah, what if you could
make money going on those rides? Then I would do
it even faster.

Speaker 5 (07:02):
I don't make sense to answer, okay.

Speaker 6 (07:07):
Mine out of a gunner.

Speaker 4 (07:09):
Like I would try to go ride them.

Speaker 6 (07:11):
I doesn't know. Okay, I see where you're going. That
is that's it. You have to go ride them faster.

Speaker 1 (07:21):
All right, let's save that.

Speaker 2 (07:22):
Yeah, and I'll tave you I had a friend I
would always say, this is America. There's no excuse to
be broke because you can actually make money doing anything.

Speaker 4 (07:30):
Someone's always dumber than you.

Speaker 5 (07:32):
Yes, so I want to be I'm going to be
a paid roller coaster writer of my emotions.

Speaker 1 (07:38):
Just a YouTube channel.

Speaker 4 (07:40):
We'll just write them.

Speaker 2 (07:41):
Yeah, you laugh, But if you did that, I bet
you it would work.

Speaker 1 (07:46):
It was just all day long, just rolling on my emotions.

Speaker 6 (07:49):
If that movie What the Inside Out hasn't taught.

Speaker 2 (07:51):
You anything, that's one of one hundred percent, make like
a YouTube off of that and just name every emotion.

Speaker 1 (07:59):
Okay, he's sitting running and the I'm the best. Oh
my god, this is terrible.

Speaker 2 (08:07):
Lastly, tell me what emotion you feel when I tell
you this. I hope you didn't throw away your skinny
jeans because fashion says they're back this fall and winter.
Skinny jeans are making their move, not just for women,
but for men too. For everybody that's it.

Speaker 6 (08:21):
I feel like they never go away though.

Speaker 4 (08:23):
For Fall fashion is like investing. If you just hang on,
it's gonna turn out okay.

Speaker 2 (08:29):
Actually it is like investing depending on what you buy,
because the value of certain items really goes up.

Speaker 7 (08:34):
Just hang on, don't sell, don't sell, just hang on,
and eventually it's gonna turn out okay.

Speaker 5 (08:40):
That's how people become horders a little

Speaker 1 (08:48):
Bit longer because I want to a little bit longer.
