Speaker 1 (00:00):
Give us three minutes and we'll give you everything you
need to know for the day. But it's time for
Nina's what's trending. The future is trending. This particular trending
has a theme. I'm about to tell you about what
we're going to see in the sky, what you can
wear to save your life, and the new way to
consume protein. This is all in your very near future. First,
let's go to Florida, where when you look up at

(00:22):
the sky will no longer just be a sunny day.
It will be covered with cars, flying cars everywhere being
tested because that is coming.

Speaker 2 (00:31):
That's cool.

Speaker 1 (00:32):
So the Central Florida Skyline is what we're talking about. Specifically,
the plan is to bring electric air taxis to the sky.
We've been talking about flying cars now for a little
while to help traffic and you know, to help people
get around more safely. Don't know if it's safer, but
get around nevertheless, so they're moving forward with this plan.
Governor Ron DeSantis said this could start operating in the

(00:54):
region by the end of this year. So you out
there going to Florida thinking you're on vacation, isn't in
family look up in the sky it's not a bird,
it's not a play. I'm just sorry how they're going
to regulate all that. It's airspace? Like can you get
a speeding ticket?

Speaker 2 (01:10):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (01:10):
Like what if you're late? Yeah, Like there's gonna be
res all kinds of stuff. Like there's just so all
kinds of questions I have. They're gonna deal with it.
Navigate the birds like that's a that's a whole other
kind of license. Actually, I don't know if that would
mean that you would have to get like a pilot's license.

Speaker 2 (01:27):
There's gotta be roadways and all kinds of stuff like
that's cleared through the FAA.

Speaker 1 (01:31):
Or what movies the movies they have, they would have
to use air.

Speaker 2 (01:35):
What the movies they just have flying cars?

Speaker 1 (01:37):
So we should just chaos go based off the movies. Yeah, okay,
well let's talk about the movies and and how this
could save your life and be a great emotional movie. Okay,
bad transition. So there's a new smart bra that's coming
to help detect possible breast tumors. This is actually really interesting.

(01:59):
So there's the French Swiss research team that's testing the
smart bra. So the idea is to help find early
signs of breast cancer. So it's supposed to be able
to read if there's any tissue that is doing stuff
that's that's unusual or just unusual. Because right now, that's
why we go and we get our mammograms and we
get tested. But for a lot of women that's not

(02:20):
even covered by your insurance, so you turn forty. So
if you have to go in there earlier, you're paying
out a pocket to get a closer look to what's
going on. And sometimes it's too late, like I had
to go in with this whole tissue situation that thankfully
like I caught on accident. But anyway, for anybody that
may be higher risk, you would be trying on this
bra and I guess that would start earlier or whenever

(02:42):
you felt like you wanted to, and it's supposed to
be able to tell you within thirty minutes if there's
something undo.

Speaker 2 (02:47):
That's cool.

Speaker 1 (02:48):
Yeah, I think that's incredible. Yeah, So that's something to
look forward to. And lastly, there is a new way
to consume protein that is coming your way. This is
something you never thought of. Protein lettuce, ew protein life
has arrived. How did they get protein? Lettuce? You ask

(03:09):
by literally shooting pig genes into the chloroplasts of lettuce
and tobacco cells to make to make that protein from
the animal grow within the lettuce. No, yeah, they did
it and it worked. And part of this has to
do with like sustainability and how we're consuming so much
meat and it's already dangerous and all of that kind
of stuff. So it's not just for protein maxing. It's

(03:32):
a way for us to consume protein later when I'll
just stick to the lettuce in my protein bar.

Speaker 2 (03:37):
Thanks.

Speaker 1 (03:37):
Yeah, yeah, that sounds so disgusting to me. Well, it's
not like you're actually eating pig. It's just like pig genes.
But it's just, Oh, they did not need it.

Speaker 2 (03:47):
It's like they're just messing with our food more. It's
like we've already realized you messing with our food does
not help us at all, So why messing with it more?

Speaker 1 (03:54):
Would that help us? Because they do believe that we
will need it, because they believe that it's going to
be relevant in a time where the demand for sustainable
food products is going to be greater than ever whose
day the word I mean people, the world, I mean,
if you think about what it takes to produce all
the meat that we consume and all the protein that
we've been consuming. There's already a way shortage. Breast milk

(04:16):
is higher, all of this stuff. Now, all you got
to do is eat, let us wrap, and then boom.

Speaker 2 (04:20):
But is it like they people like who control, like
the US Food and Drug Administration. I don't trust.

Speaker 1 (04:26):
Oh, I see it from other countries. It is the
scientists that have been published in the Frontiers and Plant Science.
That's what I got for you. But it's here. Sorry, guys,
I don't know. Be on the lookout if you're into it. Protein,
let us cut. That is what's trending.
