Speaker 1 (00:00):
Give us three minutes and we'll give you everything you
need to know for the day. But it's time for
Nina's what's trending.

Speaker 2 (00:04):
It has a really interesting class action against Mercedes that's
trending today because of what Mercedes.

Speaker 3 (00:10):
Has been doing to its drivers. All right, yeah, it's weird.

Speaker 4 (00:14):
I get a free car.

Speaker 3 (00:15):
I don't know. I'll explain coming up in just a second.

Speaker 2 (00:18):
But first, speaking of weird, this story has been making
its round since yesterday. But you know who Brooks Nader is.
Brooks Nader is on what's it called Baywatch, the New
Baywatch Show, and then she's was also in Sports Illustrated,
so she's she's been around. But she's recently been on
vacation with her family in Italy and there's this viral

(00:39):
clip of her on a boat with her entire family mom, dad, brother, sisters,
and she's about to go swimming but she's just kicking
it on this boat, completely topless. So there's been a
very interesting conversation swirling about that, like how, I don't know,
makes me feel weird. I wouldn't want to be topless
in front of my father and my brother.

Speaker 4 (00:58):
Yeah, I wouldn't want my daughter doing that in front
of me.

Speaker 1 (01:01):
I don't think i'd want to see that if I.

Speaker 2 (01:04):
And of course there's two sides, which is so strange.
Most of the people have been reacting to this particular
TikTok video like, Okay, that's weird, what are you doing? Meanwhile,
there is that portion of the people that are like,
I don't see anything wrong with it. It's just family,
one of those families. I don't I just I don't know.
I would never want to do that.

Speaker 4 (01:23):
Yeah, personally I wouldn't want to do it either, But
I mean, are we sexualizing something that doesn't need to
be sexualized?

Speaker 3 (01:30):
How do you not? But okay, okay, okay, do you
know what I mean.

Speaker 2 (01:33):
But the other side of that too is I didn't
think about this until this very moment. So if a
woman is breastfeeding her child in front of her father
and her brother, a different story, right, Yeah, but still
that's a different scenario. You're breastfeeding a baby, you're obviously
feeding a human. Meanwhile, you're on a boat in Italy
goun and like bouncing up and down before you jump
in the water in front of your down your brother. Yeah,

(01:54):
it's weird. It's weird to me, I'm sorry, and I
don't even feel bad about it. Weird, there's a new
way it is, all right, all right, there's a new
wedding trend that I also find a little bit interesting.
But this is starting to really take off, and that
is that couples, couples that are engaged, couples preparing for

(02:14):
their weddings are telling all of their guests not to
bring gifts. So it's a whole giftless situation. And part
of it is because people believe that the gifts that
they get from these these guests suck and they don't
want them. And then the other part is that they
would like prefer cash, and then the majority of them
and why this is a new trend is just saying

(02:35):
we just want to be able to experience our special
day with our People call me old school, but when
I get married, I would like some gifts. Man, in
this economy, I don't think you're.

Speaker 3 (02:45):
Gonna like my gift. Looking at it, like I would
be saving a lot of money right now.

Speaker 2 (02:49):
Man.

Speaker 3 (02:49):
What I'm saying is like, if you expect a five
hundred dollars gift, yikes.

Speaker 1 (02:54):
I don't know.

Speaker 2 (02:55):
Like I'm not expecting like a big, expensive gift. But
after all this time, moy and my love and finally united,
I think I deserve a gift.

Speaker 3 (03:08):
No, our love is the gift. We're destined for each other.
It's all happening woo woo woo. But still everyone will love. Also,
how I need cash? What did you guys do with
your wedding gifts?

Speaker 2 (03:29):
I say, very ambiguously, in case nobody wants to talk
about the wedding that they had.

Speaker 3 (03:32):
I mean, what do you mean?

Speaker 1 (03:33):
What do we do with him?

Speaker 2 (03:34):
Well, Jubil and Freeze are the only two people in
this room that have been married. Did you guys receive
wedding gifts?

Speaker 3 (03:40):
Did you keep them?

Speaker 1 (03:41):
I think so. I don't remember.

Speaker 4 (03:42):
There might have been a couple of things that we
didn't use or whatever, and maybe sold to the garage
sale later on, like a couple of years later.

Speaker 1 (03:48):
That's how much I've blacked out. I don't remember much
about it. I'm sure we got some gifts from somebody.

Speaker 3 (03:58):
We don't have to live We don't have to live here.

Speaker 2 (04:01):
That's why I said it, like.

Speaker 3 (04:04):
You don't have to live there. I'll move on.

Speaker 2 (04:09):
There is a very bizarre class action right now against
Mercedes AMG. Now, if you didn't know, Mercedes AMG is
the luxury line of Mercedes Binz because the regular Mercedes
Benz base is basic luxury, and then AMG is luxury luxury.

Speaker 1 (04:26):
So like, why I laugh at everybody when I see
a C Class. I literally droll down the window and
laugh at them.

Speaker 2 (04:36):
Class.

Speaker 3 (04:37):
I've got thirty five thousand dollars too. I remember my
first car. Yeah, you want to take the training wheels off?
I get a real Mercedes Mercedes.

Speaker 1 (04:55):
Though I wanted one, honestly, I love I love Mercedes.

Speaker 3 (04:58):
Why don't you get a Mercedes? Like if it's they're
not they're not.

Speaker 1 (05:01):
It's not cheap, but like they're expensive. Yeah, in fact
that the good ones are expensive.

Speaker 2 (05:04):
Oh they're all expensive. They're all not cheap cars. So
like they're not Pars class.

Speaker 1 (05:10):
You can get a seat class for like you know,
it's like a normal car.

Speaker 3 (05:13):
It's like a Toyota. Yeah, same price range. Yeah, well
I think it's a little more than that.

Speaker 4 (05:18):
Well, I don't know, to be honest with you, all
cars are pretty much in the same racket.

Speaker 3 (05:24):
Now, you guys would probably know better. I don't. I
don't know for sure, But anyway.

Speaker 2 (05:28):
Yes, there's basic luxury Mercedes, and then there's a luxury
Mercedes AMG. And Mercedes AMG is the one facing the
class action lawsuit because they're branding their drivers. And I'm
talking about like a cow branding their drivers, not intentionally,
but it's happening. So apparently on the seat there's a
raised metallic a MG logo on the front seat and

(05:49):
in the sun it gets so hot, it gets so high,
people don't sit on it and they're they're getting burnt
and branded.

Speaker 3 (05:56):
Oh wow, AMG on that. Yeah, I mean right a passage. Yeah,
should exactly.

Speaker 2 (06:07):
So we'll see how that plays out. If you have
an a MG brand on yourself, and then also you
might you might be able to get in the class action.
No for real, it's like, stand up, let me see you, like,
I don't you don't know, you don't drive that.

Speaker 3 (06:22):
It's a regular Mercedes. That is what's trending.
