Well, if you're prepping to go back to college or
going for the first time, or know somebody that's going
to college, then you might want to tell them about
this new trend that's happening in dorm rooms, especially if
they want to fit in.

Speaker 3 (00:14):
And if you did live in a dorm room, was
it like this for you?

Speaker 2 (00:17):
We'll talk about it coming up in just a second,
but first, Okay, do you guys eat Dave's Killer Bread?

Speaker 1 (00:23):
I have eaten it.

Yes, you know about Dave Killerbread.

jail on and off for about fifteen years of his life. Yeah,
so that's why it's called he didn't kill somebody?

It was so bad. Oh I say that not because
I want to commit the crime. But like it's like untapped.
You could get into your untapped potential because you have
all you do is read and learn, like you can
find you know. So like because I listened to a
lot of podcasts with people who have gotten out of
prison after a long time too, and all these dudes
are like they're all successful now, most of them because

but it's because they dove in and like they took
the time to rehabilitate thought, learned the new trade, learned
something they were passionate about, and then got after it.
And you know, like with my add I've always needed structure,
and I'm like, maybe that's the only way I can
ever actually get structure so that I can really like
do what do something that I'm like, I feel like
I've lived my.

Speaker 4 (01:28):
Up for a couple of years.

Speaker 1 (01:29):
Yeah, just like for a few years, just so I
can get that schedule and that structure into my life.
You know, come out there ready to mount, and I'm
a beast.

Speaker 3 (01:37):
Exactly, you'll find a way to get off that schedule.
I just I know you, yeah, probably will.

Speaker 1 (01:43):
Even even there, I'd be like I still wouldn't I
still would be able to like all off schedule he's.

Speaker 3 (01:48):
In the bathroom, he's doing something. He's like, what do
you mean off the floor?

Speaker 2 (01:52):
Yeah, but to your credit, your add is part of
your magic.

I don't know about that.

Absolutely is. But this this Dave, his story is really interesting.
So back in two thousand and five he joined his
family's bakery and created this organic bread that we all
know and love. And so anyway, I just thought this
was really cool because if you don't know about it,
this is not a sales pitch whatsoever. I just like,
am a fan and summer is not over. However, Dave's

Pumpkin Spice Madness bagels are coming. They're making their return
after seven years.

What seven years?

Speaker 2 (02:36):
This might be one of those selfish trending moments because
I'm a pumpkin spice person. So when all the cool
things pumpkin spice start coming out, I want to tell
you about it. So as since we're best friends, let's
talk about it.

I don't think I've ever had a thing anything, No,
I don't think I've ever really had anything pumpkin spice.

Speaker 5 (02:54):
I had it for the first time last year. I
know it's a rage game change I was missing out
on and you liked you.

Yeah, it's yeah, it's fine. I like it, but I'm
not like, I'm not obsessed with it like everybody else.

Speaker 2 (03:08):
We'll just tastes like nostalgia, you know, like you want
to eat that. But anyway, back to the whole thing.
This particular bagel is dropping, and of course it's gonna
have ten grams of protein and four grams of fibers,
so all the flavor. You want to stay on your
fibrine protein maxing goals.

And by the way, the Dave from Dave's Killer Bread,
he was not in prison for murder. A lot of people,
I guess that's like internet thing they think he was
because it's called Dave's Killer Bread. Drugs, burglary, and robbery
and assault.

Speaker 2 (03:33):
Except for no murders because you don't really want to
You don't want to support a murder, Yeah, but you
do want to support especially.

Speaker 1 (03:40):
If that's why they call it Killer Bread, right money.

Speaker 2 (03:45):
No, not, he's been reformed. Somebody else who's looking at
a new career move is the rock. So we all
know the Rock for singing in Mowanna and all that stuff.
But you guys, he just dropped a song that's not
in a movie, and this is what it sounds like.

You go move those moum oh, I should tell you
for his daughters.

Speaker 2 (04:05):

I just feel like celebrity is giving celebrities the past
to run for office, to be a musician, an actor
of athlete a blah blah blah blah, Like we're gonna
have five people to do everything, and everybody is a
fan of them.

Why why he doesn't need to do that?

Why not?

There's a real artists out there and musicians making great songs.
But artist, No, the rock is not an artist.

Well clearly he is because he singing a song.

Yes, So he has three daughters.

Why drop it? Why not just sing it to your kids?

Because because other dads can dedicate it to their daughters too.
So he has three daughters, It's called your dad, and
he dedicated it to them.

I dedicate rock song. You know the Rock is just
trying to make a father daughter dance song at weddings.
That's all he's trying to do, so that he can
know that.

Speaker 2 (05:30):
I mean he actually he actually co wrote the song
with the twenty twenty three American Idol winner.

Somebody who actually write songs.

Speaker 3 (05:39):
Well you don't, I mean, you don't even know who
it is. Who was it.

I'm just saying, he just told me what their credibility is.

I said that they want American Idol, they were a musician.

I think the funniest thing about the Rock is that
he's got a line of like hair care products.

But people are buying I know they buy it.

Speaker 2 (05:57):
Yeah, they're buying it for whatever reason. People we love
the Rock and they want in so anyway, I think
it's beautiful. I can't not see the movie Muana when
I hear him sing. But he's got a lovely voice.
It's just not something we're gonna play on the radio
other than right now.

Someday we may be five musicians who are also president and.

Speaker 3 (06:19):
You whatever your heart desires.

Speaker 2 (06:21):
People, He's trying to make more music, and he says
the combo is going to be it's going to be
country music with.

Old school soul.

Country is old school soul. Okay, yeah, that's his jam
country because that's what every single but person is trying
to cash in and music is doing right, which is
not a bad idea, you know, like I put out
music now to you, and I've thought about doing country.

And lastly, college students have some more trends to catch
up to. I guess there's one for dorm rooms and
it comes to interior design. Did you guys decorate your
dorm rooms or your room that you lived in and
calling Victoria, did you decorate your Heck? Yeah, I mean
it was always the best part anytime you got a
new room. I lived in a story house, but every

time you got a new room, that was what it
was all about. But anyway, so the new trend for
dorm rooms is having it completely designed by an interior
designer and spending upwards of twenty thousand dollars to have
the dorm room of your dream.

Speaker 5 (07:22):
Absolutely not.

Speaker 1 (07:25):
Expensive.

Speaker 3 (07:27):
You literally go to AI AI can design it for you.

Speaker 2 (07:29):
Well, the problem with this is in a lot of
schools you move dorm rooms after one semester sometimes after
two yeah you can. You can change dorm rooms after
different quarters or semesters. You have the opportunity to choose
because people drop out, people graduate, you want to upgrade.
But especially after one year, you're not coming back to
the same dorm room. So why are you spending twenty
thousand dollars on it?

Speaker 3 (07:48):
It's gonna look really cute, I guess. I mean I
probably would like it, but I mean I just put
up lights and put my bed higher.

Speaker 5 (07:53):
But then I kind of ran into it a lotase
my roommate would just turn the lights off on, like
randomly whenever she was ready for bed.

Speaker 3 (07:58):
She's ready for bed.

Speaker 1 (08:00):
Ida you get to choose your selly No, no, no
for you. That sucks. I would hate that school. Oh yeah,
that's I didn't know that. I thought you got to choose,
so you lived with.

Do you want you should? I want to?

I would.

I want you to go to like a week of college,
just so you can get the experience of like like
what Tom Holly did when he was praying for Spider
Man he was back in high school.

I want to be doing for college.

I just want to see a camera walking into the
dorm room as he.
