Speaker 1 (00:00):
It's time for Nina's was trending brought to you by
Michael shoot being go an Auburn your home for machine goos. Okay,
it's all about budget activities this summer, and there is
a new way for you to spend your day to
stay cool and maybe entertain your children or your adult
friends that are just like children. And I will explain
in a second, Yes, Victoria, very much. You mean, but
first it's already happening. If you did not get an

(00:24):
invite to Taylor and Travis's wedding, you're just kind of
lower status.

Speaker 2 (00:30):
Like it is absolutely a status symbol.

Speaker 1 (00:33):
It's just so funny because like certain celebrities that didn't
get invites are kind of are talking about it and
they're i'm gonna say, allegedly, and certain celebrities tried to
get an invite because of the status. One person in
particular allegedly was Megan Markle. So allegedly Megan Markle tried
to get an invite. I mean, they're royals, like literally royals.

(00:54):
She's probably thinking, yeah, of course, why wouldn't I get
an invite?

Speaker 2 (00:57):
Why why couldn't we go? But she even never met
her before. Well, I don't.

Speaker 1 (01:03):
I don't know if they have or not, but sources
say the reason why they didn't go with allowing Mac
and Markle to attend is because they didn't want to
create other headlines. Fair.

Speaker 2 (01:13):
I mean, it is fair, and I mean do you
really know them? So it's their weddings, Like why would
you want other headlines to be.

Speaker 1 (01:19):
It is their wedding, and again very much as status symbol.
So I know it's wild. It is wild out there.
I went on a weird rabbit hole, like looking at
Brad Pitt's pictures with his new girlfriend at the wedding,
also wondering why Brad Pitt was at the wedding.

Speaker 2 (01:33):
But anyway, they're really cute couple. That was That was
all I wanted to say about that. This has begun.

Speaker 1 (01:40):
If you're getting on a plane anytime soon, or if
you've ever wanted to run with the bulls, it has begun.

Speaker 2 (01:45):
In Spain. It is official.

Speaker 1 (01:48):
So bulls are trending because of this, of course, but
it is the annual festival of sand For me, it's
the town patron saint. So several bulls are weighing more
than thirteen hundred pounds and it is exactly what you
think it is. People go into the streets, they start running,
and the bulls have to chase them. Yeah, so they
run and then they like try to like you know,

(02:10):
go to safety, Like they'll run and if they get close,
they like jump over a fence or something. But they've said, actually,
the stats are pretty pretty good considering they've been doing
this for over one hundred years. But in the last
several years, sixteen people have been killed. Oh no, I'm sorry.
Sixteen people have been killed over the last hundred years,
which is actually pretty low considering.

Speaker 2 (02:29):
Yeah, it would be me.

Speaker 1 (02:31):
Yeah, I thought it was going to be way more
than that too. I was like, is that just basically
asking for it? And then of course some people get injured.
But it's tradition and it's thrilling.

Speaker 2 (02:41):
So they're letting people. Wait what did you they're letting
people do it now or they yeah, they've always let
people do it. Oh oh, you're saying it's starting, It's okay.

Speaker 1 (02:49):
Yeah, yeah, I'm just saying that it's starting. So if
you start to see images and wonder why bulls are trending,
it is because running with the bulls has begun and
it will continue for about a week till next until
next week July fourteenth.

Speaker 2 (03:02):
That's a long time. They let them run every morning,
every single day. Every single day they run in the morning.

Speaker 1 (03:08):
You imagine living in that neighborhood, like you just want
to you just want to walk to work. And I
mean that's their super Bowl, Like you wait like all
year for this, and then like if you have a
view of that street, that'd be sick like you you
can start charging tickets. I want to be up high though, Yeah, yeah,
for sure, I don't even want to be anywhere close.

Speaker 2 (03:25):
Those bulls can probably climb to thirteen hundred pounds with.

Speaker 1 (03:29):
What. Oh and lastly, something you probably can handle is
something to do this summer. So airbnb type things are
really taking off. So we know that we have turo,
so you can rent cars. Now, there is a way
for you to rent backyards. You can rent people's pools,
you can rent people's basketball courts. Oh, you can rent
people's tennis courts. You can rent absolutely anything on Airbnb. Yeah,

(03:55):
well they're Airbnb style companies, I should say, so there's
specific companies that allow you to do it. But I
just never thought about that. So if you want to,
like throw a party and you can't get to the park.

Speaker 2 (04:06):
I don't know.

Speaker 1 (04:06):
There's a beach park by my house and it's always
popping in. So these people rent out this space and
they throw birthday parties. But if you know this one
neighbor has a really great lawn, I mean, I would
hate to be that neighbor because everyone's gonna be wanting
to use it.

Speaker 2 (04:19):
It's like I want my space.

Speaker 1 (04:21):
No, but that money that neighbor is putting their yard
up for like up for sale. This isn't happening without
their They're okay, you can't just jump on somebody's lawn.
You can't just walk into somebody's house and go, I'm
airbean being this now.

Speaker 2 (04:38):
Interesting. You have to set it up now that goes well.

Speaker 1 (04:43):
Basically, what I'm saying is any dream that you have
this summer, anything that is on your bucket list, you
can do it. Just rent it from somebody else. Yeah,
as long as it's legal, that is legal. Because anyway,
that's what's trending.
