Speaker 1 (00:00):
Brought to you by Michael Schubingo An Auburn your home
for Machino. It's time for Nina's what's trend do?
Speaker 2 (00:04):
I don't know if you guys noticed yet or not,
but Meta has just rolled out a brand new feature
that you're automatically opted into. So if you haven't noticed yet,
I'll tell you what it is and also how to
opt out if you choose to it, and you may
want to in just a second. But first, next week
it's already like, I don't know. They usually you think
about the Home Run Derby and All Star Game in
(00:26):
baseball being like the middle of summer, and it's like, ah,
we just started. But next week is the All Star
Game and the home Run Derby that is set for
July thirteenth at Citizens Bank Park in Philadelphia. Now I
bring this up, there's only three players that have really
been confirmed to participate so far. But one of the
storylines I think is really cute, and that's what I
(00:48):
wanted to share. So Yankees slugger Ben Rice. He tops
his team right now with twenty six home runs. Don't
you love when I sports? I'm literally rading, but I
love the Yankees, and so this is really cute though.
So when he goes up, he's going to have his dad,
who's a former college pitcher, throw to him while he's
at bat.
Speaker 3 (01:08):
Isn't it cute during the game.
Speaker 2 (01:11):
No, during the home run derby, So his dad's going
to be helping him, like, you know, get those balls
so he can pop them out of the park.
Speaker 3 (01:18):
Oh, that's so cute.
Speaker 2 (01:19):
I think that's really cute too.
Speaker 3 (01:20):
What is the point of the home run derby to
hit balls hard? Just really.
Speaker 2 (01:25):
Hit home runs?
Speaker 3 (01:26):
They said, No, one's actually playing baseball. It's the home
run Derby.
Speaker 2 (01:29):
They compete to see who can hit the most home runs.
Speaker 3 (01:32):
So, but isn't his dad helping him like against.
Speaker 2 (01:34):
No, his dad is helping him hit home runs?
Speaker 1 (01:36):
Well yeah, but if he's competing to hit home runs, yeah,
can your dad help you hit home runs?
Speaker 2 (01:41):
Yeah, it's cute. It's a nice story. That was the
point of me sharing this part. I don't know why
your head is exploding on.
Speaker 3 (01:46):
This's not like cheating. No, so everyone can have their
own person I think.
Speaker 1 (01:50):
So.
Speaker 3 (01:51):
Oh, oh's so cute.
Speaker 2 (01:52):
I know, I thought it was really cute. Anyway, that's
already next week. Now let's talk about here in our
hometown Seattle. We got pride, You've got all kinds of pride.
But now we have bragging rights. Thank you to the
New York Times, who is just named the Seattle Dog
the best hot dog in America.
Speaker 1 (02:09):
That's okay, so we'll stand on this.
Speaker 3 (02:13):
But it depends what carts you get it from.
Speaker 1 (02:15):
Because there's been some hot dogs where I swear it's
not the alcohol, it's the hot dog, and that literally
makes me want to throw up.
Speaker 3 (02:20):
Sure, but then other great hot dogs, like there's this one.
Speaker 1 (02:23):
Guy, Oh my gosh, he was the best hot dog
guy I have.
Speaker 2 (02:27):
Ever had Caphill Pioneer Belltown.
Speaker 3 (02:31):
Where was it cap Hill?
Speaker 1 (02:32):
Right across from call Henderson Park off the Piker Pine.
Speaker 3 (02:38):
But it was it's so good.
Speaker 1 (02:40):
But then apparently either he passed away or his like
I know, I was in an uber driver. My uber
driver said that he knew the guy's like daughter's boyfriend
something whatever. Anyways, he passed away. It's so sad because
like they've never had His cart was called dirty dog.
Speaker 3 (02:56):
It was so freaking dog. It's so sad.
Speaker 2 (03:00):
Ah. He probably would have been really happy to hear
this news too, because he's a part of the lore.
I mean, if you don't know and you live here
and you've never had a Seattle dog, what makes our
dog so special is the cream cheese. So Seattle has
beat out Chicago, New York, every kind of everywhere in
the country that has like hot dog pride.
Speaker 3 (03:18):
We win. Yeah, I can see that pretty good.
Speaker 2 (03:21):
I can see that too. Actually, my friend from California,
I put cream cheese on her hot dog.
Speaker 3 (03:24):
Her mind exploded.
Speaker 2 (03:25):
Really yeah, it's fun to watch whenever you have out
of town or just give him some cream cheese, and
I'm like, what is this?
Speaker 3 (03:30):
It's bomb.
Speaker 2 (03:32):
Lastly, Meta's new AI program has just rolled out, and
it's called Muse. It will allow users to create imaging
using content from other public Instagram Instagram profiles. So if
your profile is public, people can use the AI to
take your photos and do things with them.
Speaker 3 (03:51):
Wait, what, how is this like a thing that they're
rolling out. It's already rolled out. Also, why is this
a thing?
Speaker 2 (03:57):
Well? Mark Zuckerberg posted about it yesterday and he was
giving some examples and it was like, I don't know,
showing the different ways you can use your own photos
to make AI like images, But he was but this
is also allowing you to grab other people's images, which
of course is a problem if you didn't consent to it.
Speaker 3 (04:14):
So if you would like.
Speaker 2 (04:15):
To opt out, because terrible, we're all already opted in.
So you have to go up to your little three
dots in your little hamburger and you got to go
click on that, and then you scroll down to the
sharing and reuse tab, and there you'll see a section
that says, allow people to use your content on Instagram
with AI features on meta, and then you have to
(04:37):
toggle it's.
Speaker 1 (04:38):
A sharing Oh my gosh, they make this so difficult,
sharing and reuse.
Speaker 2 (04:42):
Yep, sharing and reuse, and then you'll be able to
toggle it off for posts and for reels.
Speaker 3 (04:46):
So you have to choose both.
Speaker 1 (04:48):
Allow people to share your posts and reels, but you
don't allow people to create with and reuse your content.
Speaker 2 (04:54):
Yeah, ah, okay, so well it says AI specifically, because
I think it's okay if they use your content, and like,
you know, if they want to. I don't know, that's
up to you if you want them to at all.
But oh okay, so you can go ahead and do
this for Victoria's doing it in real time. But if
you'd like to opt.
Speaker 3 (05:09):
Why would you opt us into it?
Speaker 1 (05:11):
Why?
Speaker 3 (05:11):
That's so dumb.
Speaker 2 (05:12):
Because it's their new program and they want people to
participate and they're like, oh, guess what, guess we got you. Anyway,
that's what's trending.
Speaker 1 (05:20):
They only have reels, by the way that they don't
have stories on there or post. It's only just reels. Okay, Okay,
I did that's annoyed me. Anyways, that's what's s trending.
Speaker 3 (05:32):
Okay, your first date followup is coming up right after this.
It's the jubil Show. How do you always say like
that because I'm always trying to find the button? It's
the Jubile Show. Well, thank you, Mine was fun too.
Push the button. Good morning.
